A very solid game! I didn't immediately understand the controls or the goal, but once I did I really enjoyed it :) The art is really nice as well. Good job :)

A very solid game! I didn't immediately understand the controls or the goal, but once I did I really enjoyed it :) The art is really nice as well. Good job :)
Shooting felt good and some really interesting gameplay, particularly how the bazooka hurts enemies and helps allies, and how you control a different ally if you get kidnapped which has potential for interesting strategies. Sound and music is good too, really well done, I like it :) Only thing I'd suggest is maybe making the shooting end of the bazooka the long end, it feels like it's pointing the opposite way it's shooting.
I enjoyed it, nice job :)
A really interesting way to tell a story, it was very captivating. I played through a second time and hoped making different decisions would affect the outcome, the concept is already solid though so that would have just been the cherry on top for me :) Good job!
EDIT: Just noticed you made this in 8 hours which is really impressive
I loved it! I like the art :) and the music was glorious
A charming little game with a nice art style, I enjoyed it :) Good job
I like it :) Requires good mouse precision so it's quite challenging but fun and addictive! The graphics and music are nice as well, I especially like Choosy and how he grows and animates when he eats :) Good job!
An impressively polished game (extra points for volume sliders) and a creative take on the theme :) Good job!
Music and graphics are really nice :)
I loved that! Looks like you had a lot of fun making it and I had a lot of fun playing it :) Good job!
A sweet little game with a simple but easy to understand interface and some charming humour :) Good job!
It's very challenging but the components all work nicely together and provided me with much amusement when I accidentally yeeted the chicken into the fire several times :) Good job!
I love the art style, the visuals and sound/music work nicely together too :) And the gameplay was pretty solid, I like that it only required one input for everything so was easy to pick up. Really good job, well done :)
All the elements work well together (music, graphics, gameplay) to create a nice aesthetic :) Good job!
It has a nice, relaxed pace to it which the music complements well :) Good job!
This is art.
This game has a lovely atmosphere to it with the ambient noise, sound effects, graphics and music. A really nice, chill game and the fog effects looked impressive, I liked how it cleared as you ran through it and lit the fires. The animation for swapping items could be a bit faster, it was frustratingly slow but that wasn't too much of an issue with the pace of the game. I played with a controller and I expected "A" to be the interact button for everything (chopping, picking up, lighting, placing logs etc.), currently RB is used for some things but this isn't communicated in the UI. I'm nit-picking though, it's a really really nice game overall and one you should be proud of :) Great job!
It took me a few tries to pick up the controls but I enjoyed it once I got to grips with it :) Good job!
I'm impressed that you did all of this yourself! The controls feel quite smooth and I like that you took a familiar style of game and added the twist of shooting depleting the player's energy meter. I think a small but significant improvement could be if the enemies didn't drop energy boosts when they crash into you, only if you shoot and kill them. This would improve the risk/reward of shooting and more of an incentive to avoid the enemies, as currently it's easy to stay at 100% energy if you don't move and let the enemies crash into you. Overall, a solid foundation though and it felt good to play :) Good job!
Interesting gameplay, I like the concept of the two characters depending on each other to stay alive :) Good job!
I really like the graphics, animation and the music. There's an impressive level of polish, especially considering you made this all by yourself. It would be useful if there was some sort of mini map as I got lost in the game, and the attacking didn't seem to do anything to the animals that were attacking me. This might have been me not understanding the fighting mechanics but some more visual/audio feedback for landing a hit might help here. I expected the mouse to control the camera and A/D to move sideways as well so it felt a bit disorientating at first but I did get used to it quickly. Overall it's a solid game though, I particularly appreciated the particle effects for highlighting the objectives in the game :) Good job!
I enjoyed it! It has a nice pace to it, I learned the controls and became familiar with how each enemy works really quickly and then the difficulty ramped up enough to give me a challenge that felt rewarding but not punishing. The game has a nice overall aesthetic to it with the sound, music and graphics as well. Good job :)
A nice, simple little game, it is very difficult though with the small projectile size, the size of the pongs and timing the movement of the pongs and the circle. I've not seen a puzzle game with those particular mechanics though, good job :)
I liked it! The music absolutely slaps, I was bopping the whole time I was playing it :) There was a good amount of difficulty, sometimes I didn't understand why the circle was breaking which was frustrating but overall it's a nice little game and I appreciate the topical humour :) Good job!
The idea is interesting, I think it needs a clearer indication of what acts appease the gods though, or how close you are to the sequence, a bit like mastermind where it's "correct act, wrong order" or something. Or maybe there is no correct sequence and it's all a placebo effect and this is a clever psychological experiment. It had charm though, well done :)
A fun little concept with a nice art style and polish! Good job :)
Gorgeous art style! The audio is nice too, and I thought typing the word play to start the game and introduce the game mechanics was clever and creative. I didn't really understand the gameplay mechanics when the bullies were talking to me, I was typing words from my notebook but it didn't seem to make any difference and they seemed to cross out and uncross but I wasn't sure why. Overall, a really impressive level of polish though and it had soul to it so well done :)
I really liked it! A neat little concept for a puzzle and executed well :) Good job!
I really liked this! A unique idea for a game and you've really captured the feel of a retro arcade game. Brilliant Ludum Dare entry :)
Really interesting art style with the 2D assets for a character in 3D space. Good job :)
Nice art style and I appreciate you doing a local multiplayer game, the best way to enjoy games in my opinion :) Being inside a sphere is an interesting idea, it does restrict the player's vision greatly though and there's not really any points of reference either for orienting around the environment. Overall, a solid entry though :) Good job!
I thought this was a regular bullet hell with some nice polish at first, especially with the death animation. And then I got a legacy looper which was a nice spin and a cool moment because I wasn't expecting it, which is a cool way to teach a game mechanic. Good job :)
Well that was adorable :) Love the art style, the music and the sound effects. Nice job!
I like it :) It's cool that there are different styles of play you can choose - gathering wood, joining other people or shooting them for the wood. Good job!
Really like the concept of seeing the effects of other players actions so you can help each other out. The graphics, lighting effects and music were cool too. Nice job :)
Awesome music and I love the animated art style, sound effects and the boss fight at the end <3
Really cool, I used to be fascinated by autostereograms when I was younger but I've never seen an animated version, let alone an interactive one! The shepard tone in the music was a nice touch too. Really innovative, well done :)
I love this, such a nice concept for a game and you've executed it so well. It's really satisfying watching the roots and the tree grow as you stretch out further and find more water, and the end result naturally looks really organic. Brilliant job, well done :)
Here is my final tree: Tree.PNG
The music was right up my street, I could listen to that all day! The visuals were awesome too, and I enjoyed the alternating between flying and driving. Really great job, well done :)
I couldn't open the Mac version :(
The style and polish of this game is awesome! I love the voice acting as well, some really fun dialogue and interesting characters. Brilliant, well done :)
Awesome entry! Faultless, the music is so catchy, the voice acting is brilliant, the gameplay is unique and fun and the art style is great. Kudos! :)
Loved this! Got more than a few laughs out of me, we definitely have similar senses of humour! The graphics were nice and polished too, and I think it said the font was also handmade which is impressive. I liked the lovingly mouth-created sound effects too, overall really enjoyed it, good job :)
A neat little game with cute graphics, nice job :)
Really enjoyed the 2D in a 3D setting style! I liked some of the details such as when the character automatically switched to scuba diving when you hit the water. Kept me interested to find out more, nice job :)
I enjoyed it, the difficulty in the fights felt like it ramped up fairly and was a rewarding victory, and mixing it with a dating sim was a unique spin on the genre. Nice job :)
I love that it's a "sub"-marine, the humour was great and the music was really cool. There are also some nice details that I appreciated like being able to speed up the dialogue with an extra click. Nice job :)
Awesome job! Loved it, so much attention to detail and a brilliant concept, you've left me thirsty for more! Really impressive :)
Thanks for the comments, it's so nice to see people enjoying the game! I've just updated the Mac version as I realised one of the main endings was still pointing to the "hidden" ending which wasn't quite the tone I was going for...
@kristinamay Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Spoilers: the game will never stop you, so you can enjoy as many nights of spooky passion as your heart desires <3
Thanks so much for playing and for the lovely comments and feedback, it's really nice to see people enjoying the game! @blob (Spoiler) There are 3 endings in the game and two involve crows so it sounds like you got all of them :)
I loved the humour, the use of music was satisfying as well when the melody came to a conclusion when you found Bob. Also I got to level 16 :)
I love a narrative game with multiple endings! Really impressed that you included a character creator in a Ludum Dare game as well. Good job :)
I love everything about this! The controls are so fun and satisfying, the art style and animation is really nice, the sound design fits well, the whole thing is just really cohesive and fun. Really impressed that you did this yourself in 48 hours, brilliant job!
The graphics, animation and camera movement are really nice and polished. The gameplay is quite addictive too, I played it all the way to the end :) Nice job!
Well done on your first completed game! I really liked the graphics and the sounds, overall it's a nice little cohesive experience :) Good job!
I couldn't open the Mac build :(
Well done on your first Ludum Dare! A solid entry with some nice little UI details, good job :)
A neat little game and the animation and effects add a nice layer of polish. I liked that different shapes increase in cost to encourage you to use different ones instead of just spamming the same one. Nice job :)
Really enjoyed this! The concept is solid and it's executed really nicely with all the sound, music, graphics and gameplay all working together well. Really impressive, great job :)
Favourite entry so far! Really brilliant job, love the concept and executed really well with great humour. Nice detail with the animations and audio as well, can't fault it :)
Awesome entry! I really loved the concept and it was executed to perfection with the animations, controls and subtle audio. Exactly what I hoped it would be from the screenshot and I liked the story of the game, it was really charming and refreshingly unique. The levels were difficult but clever and I persevered all the way to the end but I didn't save the snake unfortunately :( Fantastic job!
I thought this game was great  Got some chuckles out of me and the pogo mechanics felt good, I enjoyed it :)
The world felt quite alive considering how minimal it appears, I appreciated the details like the other farmers getting angry at me for harvesting their crops or the king fighting with me. I found the tools and made some beer but didn't manage to sell any :( Good job :)
The opening audio is brilliant
There was a lot of attention to detail with the instructions on-screen and the visual feedback for things, it made it easy to pick up but challenging enough to keep me interested. The art and sounds/music were cool too, a really solid entry well done :)
The nostalgic art style, animation and audio worked really well together to create a cohesive experience. The gameplay was also really satisfying and I loved the twist that killing and destroying everything wasn't the answer, you had to try to avoid the danger and choose violence only if there was no other option. The checkpoints were also well-placed so that mistakes didn't feel punishing. Overall a really great entry, well done :)
An interesting concept for a platformer and I liked how the story was woven into the game mechanics with the breathing to slow the heart rate which makes the game easier to navigate. It was a nice interpretation of the theme too. Overall a good little game, well done :)
A charming little entry with some nice art, music and heart, good job :)
I really appreciated the attention to detail with the UI, particularly the balance meter and the visual feedback when you're about to drop a package. The art style was cool too with the 2D characters in a 3D environment. Overall a really nice entry, well done :)
I had a lot of fun playing this, the way the character would suddenly lose control and the people screaming as they fell off the chairs was brilliant  exactly what I hoped this game would be. Great job!
I really enjoyed it :) Brilliant inclusion of satire in a well-made game that communicates the objectives well and is full of personality and funny easter eggs for the player to discover. Really great job, well done :)
The art is lovely and the music is sooo nice, reminded me of The Sims 2 music a bit but more chilled which is a huge compliment as it's one of my favourite soundtracks! The gameplay was satisfying and the radish seemed smart enough to attempt what I was trying each time so I didn't get frustrated. And my goodness, the ending. Terrific job, well done :)
Edit: I incorrectly referred to your radish as a turnip, I apologise.
I had to close the game because I was too scared, 10/10 :)
This game is surprisingly addictive considering how simple the concept is. The ability to quickly put down lots of shapes in a desperate attempt to maintain the balance is what kept me interested and made it feel satisfying. I was quite proud of my score too so I attached it below.
Good job :)

Loved this entry! The main game was challenging but didn't feel punishing, it catered to the part of me that has to keep trying and trying until I win. I liked that the game rewards exploration without giving much instruction, there were several "oh... OH" moments and I feel like there may even be more I missed. Really great, memorable entry, well done :)
I'm a wimp and was too scared to finish this game but the visuals were incredible, I've never played a game that uses that art style so it's really impressive to see something truly unique that looks really nice! I like that you don't tell the player anything as well but there's just enough to work out where to go and what to do. Maybe one day I will pluck up the courage to continue further as this is really awesome :D
I really like the mood and simplicity of this game. It's quite depressing that the trees start dying when you're in your thirties but I'll let that slide as it fits with the concept haha nice job :)
A neat little game, especially for a compo :) The camera movement felt a bit slidey, I wonder if it might have felt better if it was more stationary instead of trying to centre the character but apart from that it was overall a fun entry, good job!
This is a great entry! The gameplay feels really good with the pieces snapping into place and the sound effects, the art is nice and overall it's a really solid, polished game :) Awesome job!
@subvertissement We've added a Mac build now :)
A really great game! The movement felt good and the whole thing was a really nice, cohesive experience with lots of character. I liked the extra ability you get later on as well as it's like the game gave me a helping hand when I was struggling. Can't fault it tbh, really impressive, well done :)
This is a nice, wholesome entry :) I liked the graphics and the audio and the game was straightforward enough with the signifiers in the UI that I picked it up pretty quickly and everything did what I expected. It was a good level of difficulty as well that didn't feel punishing but still added pressure. Really nice job, well done :)
Really fun and addictive! The visual and audio feedback when you get a kill is so satisfying and clear without distracting from the action, and the inclusion of a leaderboard as well is impressive. Awesome work!
I like the concept, art and audio, the twist in the second part was really effective and unexpected :) Nice job!
The graphics are nice and the gameplay feels good, I like that getting extra packs gives overheal and that this is different in the UI. There's an impressive amount of finish as well with the menus and different weapon types. I'd have benefited from some clearer visual feedback when you take damage or are low health but for a jam this is really good, well done :)
The level of polish is really impressive, it feels like a finished game as opposed to a jam game! The graphics and audio are really nice and the game mechanics are solid, overall a great entry. Nice job :)
This is so much fun, I couldn't put it down! The graphics were so good and polished, the concept is brilliant, it felt really good to play and I'm impressed with the multiplayer element. Really awesome job, well done :)
This is a really incredible entry, the aesthetic of the game is so nice with the art, sound and animations all working in harmony. It's such a clever but simple concept and executed to perfection, astounding job :)
This is an impressively finished compo entry, the story and graphics were both nice and the audio was so good! I did end up clicking all the objects each time as I kept missing the changes, I think I'd have preferred if I didn't need to move the camera around and I could see all the objects in the one screen. Apart from that though, really great entry, good job!
Animal hoooooole. Animal hoooooole. Animal hoooooole. A. Ni. Mal. Hole.
I really enjoyed it, thank you for creating this :)
I hoped this entry would be funny and it exceeded my expectations! Very good and a unique take on the theme, I really enjoyed it and it had a good level of finish to it as well with the tour of the gallery and the story elements. Well done! :)
I really enjoyed this! The music's great and the voices were funny, it's a neat little game that fits nicely in the theme :) Great job!
A fun little take on the theme, I got ghosted a lot which really captured the authentic experience of dating apps... nice job :)
I love the concept of this and it was executed really well with great humour! Awesome job and so much attention to detail :)
An interesting concept with lots of character added, and I like the style of the graphics and the audio. I had fun with it, good job :)
Simple but quite moving, I ended up doing nothing for most of my life because the events happened so fast and feeling sad about it but maybe that was the purpose of the game. Either way I enjoyed it, nice entry :)
I like this take on the theme and I think you executed it really well with the audio and graphics! The puzzles felt satisfying to complete and had a good difficulty curve that increased as I got more familiar with the game. I did initially interpret the 2 side arrows as meaning it would only increase the speed in that direction so I was waiting for left arrows for one of the levels but it didn't take me long to figure out it meant both directions. Awesome job! :)
I didn't read the description before playing so was pleasantly surprised at the twist of having different effects added each round, it makes each playthrough feel unique and keeps it feeling challenging and fresh. The audio and graphics are fun too. I didn't realise you had to jump to choose a card for a while or that points are awarded for narrowly missing cars, I still had fun playing it though :) Nice job!
I like the simplicity of this, especially the animation at the start and the effects when you hit one of the seconds, it was very clean and crisp. I also enjoyed the extra hands appearing as the difficulty increased. I wasn't sure what the controls were at first though so it would have been useful to have these somewhere, solid entry apart from that though :)
The moment of horror when I realised the twist was so powerful and effective and I felt like the game let me discover it naturally without pushing me towards it in a linear way. Really clever idea, well done :)
I like that it's a simple concept but executed well, I enjoyed being a cat :) The sound of the kittens dying will haunt me
This is my favourite entry so far, I really enjoyed it! I'm impressed with how many different mini-games you managed to cram into one game and it was communicated so simply with the buttons required and the goal that I always knew what to do. The art and audio is nice too, awesome job :)
frog
I really enjoy detective games and I enjoyed this one! I didn't solve the case but it was fun connecting the dots. Good job :)
Really love the music! The graphics are cool too, overall the game feels really fun and addictive, I found myself replaying it a lot to improve my score. Great job! This was my highest score (Edit: changed the image so it didn't take up your whole comment section...):
HighScore.png
The art is cool and I like the concept of a shifting maze. I wasn't sure what the floor tiles with the yellow grid meant, I thought they'd damage me but I could walk on them fine and then I was able to retrieve the key and exit easily. Good job though :)
