Intersting ideea. I think that you should mention that it requires java :v:

Defragging was original, might have been better to split it up into the game a bit more.
Not gonna lie, I was ESPECIALLY accurate checking the contents of the dir, after downloading something called "the-virus-1.1.zip" :)
#### About the game: Great concept, "Defrag" challenge was fun and well done, with all its frustrating glory of label / color mismatch.
@comico Ah yes, Very good point!
@laurenceogden I liked it a lot too! Sadly it was basically the last thing I added, so not much to expand upon it.
@bootak Yes I figured this game might sound an feel sketchy xD. I've just accepted it at this point. Glad you liked it though!
Holy crap, this was super creative :D several out-loud WTF's from me :) good stuff!
Very creative! most creative game i've played here! The defragging was fun, and the goose really cracked me up. However, i really struggled with the defrag, and I didn't have it in me to go again when I failed. I think maybe doubling or even tripling the points you get per block, and cutting the time by a similar factor, would make the game a bit more reasonable. Very original!
@ivysly Glad you enjoyed the game and the different approach I took!
@pbg Thanks for enjoying the creativity! I too also like the goose xD Yeah, trying to figure out a good balance for the game where it's beatable, but still challenging is itself, a challenge. Sadly I probably based it on my abilities which I'm sure got a bit tuned in after a few too many cracks at the game. Glad you still enjoyed things overall though!
Really interesting concept, I love the cheeky goose in the defragging minigame. Nice job, not played a Ludum game like it before :)
Really cool concept. I don't think I've ever seen a game whose main mechanic is built around messing with the file system (although it does remind me of the ending of DDLC a bit).
Unfortunately I had a bit of trouble with the defrag minigame. I had to change the primary display in display settings as otherwise it appeared on my second monitor and dragging the rectangles didn't work at all (they'd disappear instead), and the time remaining is displayed in an area that is not cleared so it becomes unreadable.
@jaybaus Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it! I try my best to do different and new things!
@qookie Happy you enjoyed the game! As for the second monitor thing, that's very interesting. I run dual monitors and didn't have any issues, but I know that this type of stuff can be finnicky. Sorry this happened!
Unique concept, gives me ddlc vibes and I'm all for it, good job. Love the goose bit. The concept has a lot of potential, I'd love to see it get expanded on.
@justaroom Glad you enjoyed the game! You're the second person to mention DDLC, so I guess I have to go check out what that is now xD
This is fantastic, simply fantastic. Digging around through all the files is such a blast. I love the mini puzzle element based on discovering what to do next. The minigames all worked too, the file sorting one probably had to be my favorite though because of just how mundane it was but the duck / goose taking away the cursor was a blast (though i feel that one went on for a little too long). 10/10
@figueroass27 Thanks for the feedback and glad you enjoyed the game!!
I love the concept of this and it's pretty unique where you actually have to dig through a file system! Usually I actually put Steam into Programs than Games though... Since it's the launcher for things.
One thing is for sure, the defrag minigame takes too long and that just contributes to a lot of frustration, especially to people who cannot react fast. (aka it's an excuse that I have taken this 10 times....)
The virus folder would definitely work better with your actual mouse though.
Either way, superb work!
@fiakaiera Thanks for playing the game! Yeah, Steam I guess could go either way. I also would have loved to make a n "easier mode" so that people of all skill levels could play, but sadly time limits are rough.
A very unique little adventure I like the concept of looking trough the files.
I love games like this that go really out of the box (pun intended). I like the idea of all the mini games but felt that they could've been shorter. Really creative, nice work!
@alekzandar Thanks for playing!
@sleepystudios Glad you liked the game! Yeah I do wish I could have tailored the games a bit more
