Gaben ;) epic game
Reeeeally nice. Graphics are VERY GOOD and music is brilliant! I don't know but I think that menu selection did not work like 100% , but nothing too much. It felt like an actual game, and it was like super polished and great. Good job!
Nice and a solid game. Good music ! Overall I don't know what else to say than good job!
Sad that it was so short ;_;
Rly nice and original concept :0 Also rly cool graphics and animations in my opinion! Amazing game dude lol
Very moody music and game. That evil face in the left was also a good add up, and a good tutorial thingie, and also EPIC.
Cool and original concept, and those graphics were good in their own style.
Good job dude!
Having some bugs, but a nice and chill game ! Good job dude :)
@mathiouza <33
I think moving is a bit slow, for a game that has so much turning around corners. It was a nice game overall though. (You should have put audio as one category as well in my opinion C:)
Absolutely amazing :D Only if you had more levels/things to play. Really good and nice graphics, that truck thing had a very nice model, audio was good, and it was just good all around. Only sad thing is that it was so short. But a very good game overall!! Good job !
Oh it includes 5 levels, please @ me and tell how to play other levels too. I am dumb I guess.
Its incredible that NO ONE knows that the scripts, movement and all of this is from Brackeys's videos, and the game's name is literally same as the Asset pack that he downloaded... Unfair, thats what I say. **OR** then you did the scripts by yourself. In that case, at least the game is good and has nicely done things. But yeah, I dont mean to offend, its just me and that I find it unfair :(
(I do know that you can use free and downloadable assets, but you even made people think you did them by yourself. That is the unfair part.)
I don't rly get that how does getting assets from asset store have anything to do with coding skills or talent using unity or unreal engine, but whatever. And good job if you wrote the scripts. And for real I mean good job. I don't want to be toxic or anything.. Sorry if you felt so. :)
Moving feels a bit weird to me, idk why. The graphics are super cool and I LOVE the mood in this game. And the music makes me feel like I'm not just playing a game. And props for making a tutorial. Awesome job dude.
Very cool. Music was great, graphics were also pretty good, in their own way. It was a nice and chill game. Didn't complete it fully though. Maybe one day C: And very cute artstyle. This made me chill :) Very nice entry and good job! <3
If there was one thing to "complain", I accidentally clicked away that tutorial, even though I didn't press that "Press to continue" button, u know what I mean. But it was an awesome entry.
Really cool! I definetely did not get to 1 million, but I tried :)
That was really nice, liked the graphic things a lot in that section where I was going to different planets. I would have wished for some music, but that was still a very good. I always like tetris block games :D
Good job dude!
Oh my, this is actually a lot harder than I thought lol.
That early intro was amazing! Good voice acting and a funny story thing :D Also the audio was great, and graphics, and the game feels 100% polished and I couldnt find anything to complaing about.
Wonderful!
I like the "Lol" style! Just upgrading the graphics, models and maybe a bit clearer introductions/tutorial. Still works just fine though! And it had original music :) Nice job :D
I feel like a 60mb zip might be a lot for people with not so good internet like me, though I don't really mind downloading for a couple of minutes. The game is really cool and i think you did a great job putting it up. gg!
By putting it up I meant like doing the game, not publishing if u know what I mean xD
Really cool! I only managed to get 5 rooms done. Graphics were good, controls were good, and audio was amaaazing!
It was a very good entry! Good job!
Nais game :_)
Hey! Just finished playing, the game feels good and I like the idea that your ammonations are also your health. Art is also cool, I would've liked maybe like 2 more sprites for the moving player, but tbh it's not a problem at all, still nice and good. Good audio as well!
@fat-cat people like this should be banned.. ruining the fun from everyone else. :(
Good to see an fps game once in a while in Ludum dare as a lot of people said. Graphic design looks pretty cool, and the mechanics seem to work just fine. Managed to complete the game, and it was enjoyable to beat. Good entry!
Epic and fun. Professional review. Nothing more to say.
Nice audio, animations and graphics! The game feels super polished :D Character is also kinda moody which is good. :) Nice game!
BRUH THE BOT'S LUCK IS INSANE.. Took me like 5 times till I finally won the bot xD
Honestly, this game is really addictive and I could see myself pay for this if it had an multiplayer option, more balancing and stuff..
But for an ludum dare this is insanely good! Easily the best one and the most fun one seen in this ludum dare so far..!
Fit's the theme perfectly and it was fun to play even against a bot :)
You made a super nice game, congratulations from me, just for making me pleased and truly enjoy a ludum dare game :) Even though it's a quite basic card game, it is AWESOME!
@kenn50games Good to hear that you liked it <3
@ludo Yeah, I feel you. We thought about making the boss not get killed by 1 shot with the insta-kills, but we legit didnt have time to make it super great. Afterall, isn't it awesome that a final boss gets DABBED and it dies.. Thanks for the feedback <3 :)
@benburgh Yeah, we considered a lot of options to make the combat system better, but we didn't have the time to make it as good as it could've been. Glad you enjoyed some parts of the game, thank you for the feedback :)
@franfox Its coming today :)
@franfox Thanks for the feedback! Good to hear that. Thanks to @justmars we can have the mac version as well. :)
@foodzilla Yeah the exiting bug was prolly only with you. Dont think anyone else has had it. Its so easy, cuz we didnt have a lot of time to make more levels or stuff, so we kept it really fast and simple. Thanks for the feedback though. :)
@kypello Thanks a lot! Good to hear that you enjoyed it!
@vivien-fargette We were in a lot of hurry when balancing, so it isnt even near to perfect. And moving stuff with W and S didnt seem like an important thing for us. But thank you a lot for your kind feedback!
@sadsmile Yup, we didnt have the time to polish the game, but ofc with the time on our side we would've done it. Nice to hear about your opinion on the camera as well. :) Thanks for the feedback!
@sockman Voice acting was some next level stuff indeed.. ;D Thanks for the feedback!
@wtmk-bk Yeah, thats why you shouldnt sacrifice the high jumping characters at first.. Though its still possible. And good to hear that u liked it. Thanks for the feedback! :)
@hdugmag Yup, we made it too easy to dodge enemies, but it doesn't bother me that much in the end. Glad to get your feedback on it though. And good to hear that you liked it! :)
With a lot of people like me 7gb download for a ludum dare game is way too much.. (internetwise) Hopefully you'll get enough ratings in this time :p
Woah! This game is sick! I love the artstyle a lot, and I think the graphics and animations look really good! The voice acting/robot voice (U know what I mean) is perfect! It makes for a moody, and interesting game. Some stuff is actually pretty challenging to figure out, for peanutbrains like me ;3 Really good entry. Enjoyed a lot. :)
I liked the character art-style a lot, I would've liked if the moving speed was a bit higher. Also it was quite hard to hit the enemies some time. (That's just probably cause I'm bad) But overall I enjoyed playing it, and the voice acting thing in the start was cool. Nice game :^D
Just played your game, first of all the graphics, they are fine for the type of game this is and how much time you had. No complains there, mechanics seemed to have worked fine and I dont think I found any bugs in there. It's also nice to see a fps game in ludum dare, there is nearly none. It was also pretty catchy to play, but I had to quit since I had some stuff to do.. Might try and play it more today! Overall i think you did a neat job. :)
Finished playing, it was pretty short, but still fun to play. Graphics could be a bit more polished, but it fits the mood fine at the games current state, and I also know that making a good game and mechanics is more important in Ludum dare. Audio is also fine. The puzzles were good tho, as long as they lasted. Good entry in my opinion. Nice job :)
Hey! I like the graphics and the level design a whole lot. Maybe a couple polishable things and bugs here and there, but it's kinda obvious when making a game in a small amount of time. The audio is also good. Really good concept, and a nice entry!
XD Kinda epic, artstyle is UNIQUE, the game itself is also okay. Some levels were original and fit the theme very well. Nice game!
I also haven't played a game in ludum dare that's made in scratch. The game itself could be a bit better, shooting didn't always work for me and it was just kind of confusing xD Still an okay entry. Nice job :)
Omggg I love the art direction so much!!! Animations, movement and everything feels SO GOOOOOD. It has some things that remind me about cuphead which makes it even cooler! Physics are really fun and good looking. I had one weird bug which was that in full screen mode I could play outside the game screen but it was fun af. Great job for real..!
Was kind of depressing playing a 2 player game by myself ;_; Besides that it was really funny and the art direction was point on! I think this would be a blast with 2 players to battle it out on who gets more cows, but it was okay even by myself. Congrats on making a good game guys!
EDIT: And to add up the UI and all elements are really coool!
YOOOOO This was a hilarious game! The humor might offend someone, BUT I LOVED IT. Also the cut scenes and bossbatless felt really good and EPIC. Movement and animations and shooting also felt very nice. I don't know how you managed to pull a game like this out in this time limit! Such a good job on every aspect. Best ratings that I've given so far!!
Has a nice atmosphere. Reminds me a lot of star fox which is cool and it's fun to avoid these ships shooting at me and the craters. I find it kinda weird that the crosshair wants to go back in the middle all the time and I have to kind of battle it out, but idk. And the ships movement could be a bit faster in my opinion. But overall this has some nice graphics, UI and the game feels really nice!
Kind of a let down after your insane project on LD43? Oh yeah.. you cheated. Hope you are ashamed of that :D Took first and second spots from people that actually deserved it.
Heyoo!! First of all wanna point out that the options tab wasn't working for me in the Main Menu, but worked in-game. So now to the review :D I think it's a nice old school idea, just defeating wawes of enemies. It was super satisfying to hit the enemies when they came in stacks. I think the game could've been a bit harder OR THEN I'M JUST A NATURAL BORN GAMERRRR. Music fit the game just fine, and the I found it very funny how some stuff said like "Much wow" xDDD Animations weren't the greatest if I was moving left or right at the same time as moving down, but good enough for a LD game. Nice job guys :)
<3 @oddsocks
@refraction yeah, the ultimate sadness had a 25% chance xD thanks for the review though :D
@johnnydalvi yeah I get you, the point with this game was to just make it so flippin random and funny that the player doesn't even have to do anything by themselves. And it's just rng, it has a 10% chance to break if it goes to 100 score 10 times.
@daspanjo Ahh feels so good to hear that you enjoyed it.. **JUST A NORMAL DAY**
@fatpenguin Sorry to say this, but the bail out for free are just complete RNG XD I think itโs like 1/4 chance to bail out for free, but I guess you got lucky lol. And thanks for the improvement proposal. Everything is really important to us!
@khamekaze and @xmpted <3<3 And yeah, it can easily feel **A BIT** too repetitive, but sadly there was a danger zone called time limit.. ;_;
@agurcan <3
@j-c-one-bit-studio Yup, it is illegal to date a 16 year old as an adult in most countries. (Except for something like China where it is goddamn **12**..) <-- We do our research. Thanks for the review doe!
@ludwici :DD
@mathstr0fficial Hey, I can gladly tell you we did everything from the start :) No ready asset used, no ready music used, no lines of code ready, everything was done during these 72 hours! Thanks for the review though XD (best compliment we could get :3)
Yaa! That was really cool! The art style is really cool and the music is really cool in it's own way. Kinda threw me back to some old school pixel art games and music. The story thing is also very nice. Had a good time with ollo the cat! There was also some small bugs like getting stuck somewhere or things like that, but they didn't make my experience any worse. Congrats!
Heyy, this game was propably the weirdest one I've played so far xD. Nice mood and funny artstyle, audio is also fitting. I would've only wished for quicker time for the people to go between the lava thing and their starting place. Other than that it was epic, didn't manage to beat it but thats ok ;_;
Hoi! First of all, really nice models on the tanks! Mechanics worked very well and the game was really satisfying. I don't know if there was an end goal, but that doesn't really matter. Really nice game I think!
Yahhhh! First of all that shop was rly cool :D Even the battery thing there :) Also nice art. I feel like it could have used some music, but it was still okay. Gameplay was also good in my opinion. Great job overall, sorry for this stereotypical review, don't know what else to say XD
First of all, props for a mac build xD! Second of all, SICK GRAPHICS! The world feels very alive and I think that's very important in a game like this. Audio is also very fitting and cool. Games mechanics seemed to have worked just fine for me, so no complaints there. If there was one thing to say, just the upgrade thing was kinda weird for me, but might be just cause I'm stupid. Oh and mood 5/5. A really good game guys! Congrats!
Woooww!! I'm so damn famous now. The story just keeps going on and on which is really cool, the music is really good and moody, art is OK, nothing too special obviously cause of it's only 1 frame pretty much, but the pixel font and everything is rly good in the game. It was fun to just sit and click M1 and just rant stuff on **TWITTER**. Oh and the humor was also on point. Siiiiick!!!
Woah! That was cool! The graphics and music are so freaking moody! All of the sprites look really cool and the players shooting works really well! Also the menu screen was sick when the character even turned to watch you..!
If I needed to say 1 complaint, I think it would be the movement since it just felt kinda weird and sluggy, but maybe I would just need to get used to it. Didn't manage to beat the game but it was cool to play. Congrats on making such a cool game guys!
Yooo! Really innovative! Didn't play the whole game quite through tbh. I know it sounds stereotypical, but this is a really polished and nice one! Graphics are pretty cool, and the mechanics didn't seem to have any problems in them! Well done dude!
Nice, deep story. The art obviously make it better even though it isn't made by you, I still think it was worth it. Mood on this was really nice. I think you could have added a sprint button though XD!
BRO I legit got mindblown as I walked through one of the things XDD. I actually thought that the game was just **CARRYING BOXES** Super funny voice acting and good art direction, the robots are somewhy symphatic looking to me. And I mean long story short long story short. <-- doesn't make sense but maybe you'll get it. Movement and sounds were also on pointttt! One time a box went through another box and popped above it but that was just epic not a bad bug lol. Good job guysssssssss
Nice game! This was certainly a very difficult game, as other peeps already said it could use some nerfing :3 (But whatever I like some challenge) And just as Khamekaze above I just WENT HAM and bought everything and just got destroyed the next round. A sweet game though! gj
Hey, first thing that came to my mind was that it reminded me of a 3d happy wheels somewhy xD Don't have that much to say tbh, just a nice game and it was fun jumping above some trash bins :)
Graphics and the animations are really cool, reload button would've been easier than F5, but it doesn't rly matter that much. The environment especially was so cool so you did a really good job with that. And it's quite satisfying. Maybe some kind of end goal or timer would've added a bit, but I think you just didn't have the time? Alltogether a good game tho :)
Hi, just played your game and it has some really nice things in it! Graphics are in my opinion the best part. Really good. Attacking feels kinda weird and some animations would make it more alive! But overall I think you did a nice job.
XD This was so hilarious playing! Propably one of the most innovative games I've seen! I mean that was just epic nothing more to say. A solid entry my man! XD This was so funny...!!!!!!!
BRah the art especially in the first scene are so siiiiiiiiiick!! Did'nt hear any sounds but i don't know if thats a problem on my end or something. The game is really satisfying, maybe a bit too much "grind" for me, but that's just my personal opinion. And as the guy above me said, respawning with space didn't work for me or then I'm just dumb. But besides that I think you made a really sicc game!!
@becher ooooooooh! I'll go and play it again now XD (IM A BIT DUMB)
Cool game, art is really good. I sometimes randomly got stuck in the wall and hitting the enemies that were above me was kinda hard, but maybe that was just me being bad. XD Audio was goood. Nice sfx and music (music was a bit too loud though :D) And I think WASD movement would've been a good addition to arrow keys movement, but it was fine that way. Overall I think that was a really noice one, well done!
Propably the most weirdest kind of art I've ever seen. I don't know if I like it or if it's too much for my colorblind eyes, but besides that I think you put up a nice and a playable game, which already is something to be proud of. GJ!
Hey! What an epic game :D Graphics and music are very very cool in their own style and the games basic mechanics seem to work well. There seems to be some ways to do some weird stuff but I didn't find anything particurally outstanding. Besides that it was really easy to just spam and spam m1 and kill the goblins :D But still you made a really good game, you should be proud!
Woaaah that teaser is sickkk! And the game's 2D and 3D graphics are also pretty cool. Simple ideas in LD are usually the best, and this game is a nice example! And cool to see a multiplayer game AND even an Android game :) Good job for your first ever LD guys! Maybe some music would have been OK, not sure though. GJ GJ GJ
Heyo! First of all, what an original game! I'm pretty sure this is something that I will never see again, or anything even close to this. And that's amazing! I actually played this on my Samsung S7, and it seems to have worked just perfectly :)
Graphics obviously could've had a bit more tweaking, but you opted the category out, understandably. The game was kinda random, but I actually liked it. Those comment's were very epic and funny :D
Good innovative job dude!
@kp-cftsz Might be my sister speaking a completely random Finnish sentence..
@gamefive Some of it can totally relate to human nature, and it was one of the main things behind the game. Except for eating a dog of course.
Hey! What a symphatic platformer! The animations and art design is very cool, and fun to see games that have different graphics! The hitboxes could be better, but I've also been there with making hitboxes :D But it was sort of managable! The movement could've been a bit better, but I wasn't so bothered about it. Just made it more tricky :) But overall a cool game! Had fun playing it :)
Hey! This was a cool, very different deep story. It was really interactive and kept me interested! Cool to see a game like this on top of the 2D platformers and topdown games. It did lack some audio in my opinion though! Could've made it even more alive with some kind of SFX, possibly some music. But this was still rly interesting to play! Spamming the texts was probably the most satisfying thing I've done all year lol. The story also worked well and gameplay-wise I only wish it would've been longer :) A really innovative game, loved it!
Hey! Just finished playing this, and I need to say that this is legit a good game! The music fits the game perfectly and the audio overall is high quality. Art diresction and graphic design is also top notch. Audio and graphics make a real nice combo here. Also I loved the fact that you had to type your spell into the box (the text clipped outside the writing box sometimes btw). It made that a lot more interactive than just possibly having to click on a button. Oh and the arrow keys didn't work for me in the beginning, but that wasn't a big deal to me. A really good game guys!
SALOONWIN.png
Yoo! That was a fun one! Always been a fan of tower defense games. Been playing them for years and been the n.1 in the world in BTD Battles for example, so I really know my tower defenses. And this is a successful one! Tower placement and hit radiuses work wonderfully, the gameplay is super satisfying and the pixel art graphics are awesome! Also the music lightens up the mood by a ton. Literally don't know what to complain about other than the game screen didn't scale correctly for me in Web GL. But I managed by scrolling up and down at it was no problem.
Really good tower defense with good mechanics, good job!
Hey! Really nice game you got there! The voice of that guy was kinda robotic and broken and it was a super nice choice. Makes it a lot more innovative. The music was also very moody and good, which means, your audio overall was really good! The graphics were also quite original and animations were quite smooth and decently done. Really liked the pixel art style! The combat was kind of weird to me, and I didn't really manage to do anything to the Minotaur and didn't quite understand the point of the monk and the shrine, but that might just be me being stupid. :D But hey, nothing actually bad to say about this game, except for the combat on my part, and the background might've been a bit buggy/wobbly while moving, but other than that a really good mood done with the audio and graphics! Good job guys!
This is an epic game! I always love these interactive games, makes you feel a lot more connected to the experience. The UI was indeed quite confusing for navigation. But at least it got me brainstorming lol. But it was nice to see a game like this! Was super epic to play a game like this. Oh and the graphics are also very fitting to the style :)
Heyo! It was quite difficult for me to manage in this game, but I definetely enjoyed playing it. Those graphics were sweet! Kinda funny how it goes from hand-drawn 1's and 0's to those epic graphics. That was quite fitting. So good job overall! Didn't manage to get super far somewhy, I'm just probably dumb :)
Cool to see you progressing in every game jam @gamefive! This was cool.
Hey, this was a nice and moody game! Took me a while to realize how to actually even progress, I am colorblind which made it kinda hard to see the different colors that were flipping there. But when I went close enough to the screen I could manage. But the music is oddly moody and good, and the story/idea behind the game is cute and very original! Even the graphics are quite original and unique. Good job :)
Hey! I'll start with how epic the gameplay is, I absolutely loved the fact that you had to pick up the scripts and it would execute the line in-game :D Made this a lot more exciting! The art direction is wonderful, kinda weird how there's a 16-bit character and a lote more-bit reaper guy at the same time, but kinda loved it tbh :D Overall the art direction and graphics are wonderful, good to a pixel art game executed as well as this one! Gameplay-wise also a really fun game! Camera might feel a bit too fast at least on my laptop, idk if it makes a difference.
But no complains really, a super nice game! Good job on finishing this sick piece!
Hey! That was a lot of different stuff to remember from the help section :D The gameplay was kinda weird but kinda cool at the same time, my laptop for some reason doesn't run this game perfectly so the fast monsters just rekt me xD SFX are great, the music is pretty much just a short loop which kind of irritates me.. :D Nothing too bad though. Graphics and lightning could've used a bit more tweaking, but the base core of the game is quite solid. Good job for your first Ludum Dare my guy!
Hey, tried to play your game, but it says "Couldn't find your page". You should fix it ASAP before you could even be banned for possibly trying to extend your time. (not saying that you would be doing that) But all good if you fix it soon, I would gladly play it then! And good job with finishing your first Ludum Dare! :)
Hey! This was an epic game for sure! The story at the beginning.. it was super sad and honestly made me feel sad ;_; Very good job on that. Otherwise the graphic design was a bit lacking, but it definetely did not stop me from spamming the trees and plants hard AF, which was a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure I didn't save the world or fully get the idea behind the game, but I had fun! Which is the most important thing for me. At some point the plants just disappeared though, which I don't know if it was intentional. But other than that a really symphatic and cool game done in the 72 hours, lots of work behind this! Good job guys!
The game could've used a tutorial, was a bit confusing to start with and I didn't really manage to figure out how it worked. I would've loved to have completed the game since I love all kinds of magical/medieval thingies, and even the mage only lit my interest. So if you want to, you can do some explaining and I would gladly complete the whole game, since it seems really interesting.
The character sprites were funky and good looking, and so were the enemies. The background tile texture could've possibly used some upgrading, but it's obviously fine, as in the end of the days its a game jam :) But anyways it's a nice entry, hope to see you guys continue the game-making!
Yo! Really fun game, I was already laughing at the beginning when the gangsta music started playing at the friend's car, and then it got intense. I got some things done, like digging a grave for poor Zack and then burying him. Wasn't expecting for that lmao. The F button felt like it didn't work for me, I'm not sure if I did something wrong when I took things into different places to use them, it didn't go in there until moving around and trying many times. Still enjoyed it and was really intense. Obviously I failed cos I suck, but what can you do. Graphics and music fit together really nicely, dope artstyle! Going up and down the floors also felt really smooth and fast which I liked. Anyways it was a fun game, besides for a few troubles, it was a whole lot of fun to play! Good job and keep making more :)
Holy crap I don't think I've ever been so annoyed playing a Ludum Dare game lol. I just kept forgetting the spots to go to every frickin time. It worked well though, and was fun to play even though I sucked at it. Kind of reminded me about a 1001 online game website game that I played so so so many years ago, that was super nice :)
Graphics and sounds were both decent, no complains there. Audio was a really good implication on when the rocks were about to come (or the spikes). Alltogether I enjoyed playing this really hard game and you guys did a good job on making it challenging yet fun! Very good entry, hopefully you guys keep making games!
Absolutely insane, the things you got done in the time of this jam is so ridicilous. The art direction and graphics fit into each other perfectly, and the game couldn't be more pleasant for the eye. The also adds such a huge amount of mood and the *atmosphere* (see what i did there) is so so so good.
The game was kinda difficult at the beginning but then I did the unthinkable and decided to check "How to" which obviously just helped me out a lot. Also the whole story is really beautiful and it was easy to just keep playing. I have no idea as to how in the heck you also made and endless, and altogether the game feels so whole and polished, what an AMAZING entry! Congrats on this submit, please be proud..
Hey! What a super simple yet epic feeding game you made! When I realized which foods were doing what, I just started spamming them super quickly just to hear the chewing sound over and over again *slurp* It was pretty easy to win, so a little challenge could've done a bit for the game, but at least I was able to beat a LD game for once lol. The game also reminded me of Pou and gave me some nice nostalgia to 7 years back :')
I really hope you keep making these games, nice entry my dude. =)
Hey! Finished playing now, and I really enjoyed exploring the place. The graphics made it pleasing for the eye, and were very well done! I never get bored to seeing some top-down pixel art games. What of course would've made it even a bit better, would've been that the character would'nt have flickered and the animations could've played a bit differently, but it was still very playable and looked good. And the UI didn't look really good, but the graphics of the actual game made up for it :)
Didn't ever really catch onto the gameplay, I just liked exploring the world and just picking up and buying objects without knowing what to actually to do with them ;D Could just be my stupidness, so if you wish you can explain to me how to progress in the game, and I would gladly try it again.
Either way it's a really nice entry and I hope to see you bringing more content!
Huh, that was a lot harder than I originally thought it was going to be. It was super fun and intense to try to get a better score, my best was 53 seconds and I'm honestly pretty good with it, there were so many blue thingies chasing me lol. Graphics were just correctly done for a game like that, nothing too insane and just good simple graphics, which also goes for the gameplay itself. Simple yet really fun and addictive!
I don't really even know if 53 seconds was a good time, so if it was you can hit me up or if it wasn't, I would gladly go and try it again to hit a better time :) Hope to see you in later LD's as well, nice job!
*EDIT* Forgot to mention the audio, was also good and fitting for the game!
A bit like some others have commented, didn't really get the point of the game, but I looked at the tutorial in the end, which helped. It was kinda slow for my taste, but it was still a lot of fun!
I love space themed literally anything and seeing the outer space and the ship moving through it was already making me feel really cool. Graphics were very VR style, clean and good looking! I just went around clicking different buttons, but it was epic, just wish I knew what to do ;D The audio was also really fitting and sounded good. I recommended the game for my friend that had a VR headset, and really cool to see that you have a VR build, thats super special!
You can try to clarify the game for me, but either way it was super nice to play apar from not knowing what to do. Huge props for the work done during the jam!
Graphics were really good and the mood was really on point. Just really needed some pressuring music! But LD's are how they are but even without a music it was still a really nicely put up game and as a horror game/movie hater I was panicking a lot 8) You were able to polish the game pretty nicely, which is always wonderful to see in Ludum Dares! Good job guys :)
What an amazing game! It was a really simple yet so cool little puzzle game, the mood was really awesome, that kind of black and white graphics are something I have never seen before, everything was super clean. It was super fun to try placing different things into different places, tho I wasn't able to pick up the med kit (or then I just did something wrong) but either way it played out super nicely.
The characters like the dude and the creature were super epic and drew me even more into this game, I don't know how and why but the creature reminded me of Hollow Knight, one of my favorite single player games, even the following eyes of the creature were an amazing add-up to the game. Really cleanly done apart from some clicking difficulties and some stuff but at the end of the day it's an LD game and bruh this was fun to play :) Also the theme could've possibly been a tad bit more accurate, but I'm fully fine with this one! Loved it!
Hope you keep making games, I really look forward seeing more! Sick game guys!
@kwaku sick, congrats on doing this! best of luck <3
Lmao, what a fun, simple yet a pretty difficult game (at least for me, tho jumping from x just didn't really work for me ;D ) Still completed it around my 5th time trying and it was fun!
Grphics were cute and good looking, nothing too crazy about them, unfortunately I had to play without sound, I'll go and play it with audio next time I get back to my pc! And so lovely to hear that you made this game with your son <3
It was clean, well working, nothing to really complain about, thanks for submitting and I hope you and your son keep making more games. 8)
@cerins Thanks for the feedback! :) I definetely agree. There would have been so much to add, especially to make the game and everything inside it a lot clearer. Sadly just ran out of time as usually. ;D
And unfortunately it isn't, actually i was asking everyone for ideas to make the final character, and my dad proposed that we'd make a Leopard-Whale, that has suffered from climate change. =D
@thewustache @kaafirookie @stinkykitty
Ty for feedback c:
Hey! I played it for a while, and it really started to seem like an epic game that something like Nintendo would publish if it had more levels and stuff to do and super polished. The character was super cute, and so was the whole game. Mood was super well done, and that's just the kind of a game to make you happy. The joyful music added up well with the graphics, animations and sfx.
I found the movement to not be sooooo consistant which kinda irritated me sometimes, but it's still very playable. Also some weird but minor bugs with getting stuck into a cloud, or something along those lines. And maybe it could've also made some things a bit better, if you didn't have to move yourself while being on top of a moving cloud. But at least that made it so you had to at least do something all the time.
One thing that is very true as I saw someone comment, was how different the game looks from the screenshots! It doesn't look that impressive and when you hop into the game, it was super sick.
But anyways, one of the more impressive LD entries I've seen, and you guys did an incredible job! You should be proud of this one :D
Hey! First of all respect for writing this game in C++ and OpenGL using a custom game engine.
This is a fun 3d/2d mix shooter game! It took me a little while to fully realise the game mechanics and using the lamp and stuff. I could've obviously checked the instructions as there it clearly says that. But either way, after getting used to the feel of the game, it started to be really fun! The sprites of the monsters were actually sick. I don't know what it was about them, but they looked awesome. Even when they fired at you with something, the animation and the sprite isn't like "next-gen" but it still looked good. Also props for adding music and good sound effects, it made the game a lot more interesting! And the mood was also cool.
Huge props for doing this game, and a cool entry! :)
Hey! This was a cool entry for you first LD! First of all, good and respect for you for giving us the info that you werent using your own assets. I've seen MANY cases in the past, where especially SunnyLand assets have been used a lot and they have claimed the graphics for themselves. So that was nice to see.
The gameplay felt quite smooth, and I didn't really find any bugs or anything game breaking, maybe just some super small collider issues. The animations were really nice, and stuff like that makes a game feel a lot more polished! You could've added some sounds if you had time, for example some kind of wind blowing (or something like that) as you're falling time. But this is a super good first Ludum Dare, I really hope to see you join the upcoming game jams and see you improve!
Hello! What a fricking nice puzzle game. I got bamboozled when I saw "get here in the first 15 seconds" lmao. I restarted the game after collecting a few keys because that was the only way and then it was just key and bow collecting time all over again. So thats what a good puzzle game is like, at least in a LD game! Not too hard puzzles, like realizing to do something and just running around a maze. Also the fact that you had a good looking bow as a literal white square was very epic lol. The glowing was good looking, didn't find any clipping mistakes or some places where the light wasn't as it was supposed to be. It was also cool that there were those darker places where even the square didn't glow. Your collider stuff also worked really nicely. A little music would have made it maybe more atmospheric, but that's just my preference and there is only a little time in LD to do everything :D
Well either way, nice puzzle game, nice matrix-type graphics and the mechanics and the game worked well, didn't find any bugs! Cool game and รฉntry!
Well this was an epic game. My first impression was that I just started laughing when I saw the graphics and the music started playing. They fit in very well with each other :D I went 0iq for a while and didn't realise you could sprint and you had to complete the track to get extra things, but when I did realise it became a lot more fun! It was really satisfying to shoot the zombies and the power-ups were sick. My personal favorite was easily the insane running speed and also the 3-way bullet spread thing.
One thing that mayyyyyybe could've been added, would have been that maybe the blood would have faded away at some point or maybe if they had a bit smaller particles, but that might just be my preference. Either way not a lot of trouble there.
Sfx were good, didn't have any problems with any mechanics, and it was just a fun old school shooter game. Good entry dude!
**EDIT** *forgot to mention that the health and stamina were also balanced well!*
Hey! A very addictive and a good mind-cluster game. The idea of your game is simple, yet super powerful as it keeps the player thinking what is possible to do and what isn't. Didn't find any bugs or mistakes there, I think the game is working just as you imagined it in your head, which is impressive 8)
Controls were simple and that is good in a game like this, no need for many controls or buttons. The level design was also good! Graphics also fit your game very nicely. And so did the music. I could just keep on repeating how everything was simple and polished, but maybe you already understood that. So nice job with your game dude!
Bruh, this is propably what addictions are made of. I don't know what it was, but I couldn't stop playing and trying to get my new high score. And the sad thing is, I literally sucked at the game, and I will a 100000% come back later and beat my score (140$). The game was actually a lot harder and more fun than I thought, somewhy I couldn't stop myself from hitting the babies and not the frickin mothers. I can still hear the sfx of that in my head.
The graphics were sick, everything blended in and made a really cool atmoshphere. I didn't manage to find any bugs, which is surprising in a LD game usually, at least if I play it that long. The concept was simple, but yet very innovative, and you polished it very well, which is probably why it was so fun! All sounds and music were also good, nothing to complain about them.
I don't know what more to say really, other than that was the most fun game I've maybe ever played in a LD jam, and I've been around for quite some time already. This just hit different lmao. Sick entry doods.
Hey, nice entry! Looks like this was at least some of you guys' first Ludum Dare game, and it's a good one at that! Graphics are pretty epic, even though they are not so detailed the style of the graphics still match together. The animations are also very sweet, so good job on those! They make the game feel a lot more fun. The sound effects are also pretty good.
If there was something to improve, I had a pretty difficult time of getting past the enemies, and didn't manage to complete the whole game. I don't know, if I just sucked at the game, or I didn't spend enough time to kill enemies over and over again, it was still kind of hard to understand. If there was something I might have missed, I can gladly play this again if you tell me what to do! :D
Either way, the core mechanics of the game worked very nicely, didn't have problems with the movement or dashing. I hope to see you guys in the next LD as well, and keep on improving! Good entry guys :)
Broooooo you gotta try to get the 20 ratings!! I really hope this get's rated cause this is hilarious lmao.
Heo, cool entry! Even tho the graphics aren't insane, they're meme enough to fit in nicely with the music ;D
For me, there are maybe a bit too many keys to remember for a puzzle game, especially in the beginning. But after a while of playing this you can get a hang of it so it's not so bad. Didn't rly see any problems with the mechanics, and didn't find any game breaking bugs either. Somewhy I didn't find the truck's movement that unpredictable, but working just as I imagined it would :D And if you had time, you could've probably added a something to click on to get to the next level and not have to press ESC and go from there etc.
So altogether a solid, well working puzzle game, that was really hooking and really fun! GJ :)
I was quite literally holding my breath for the whole ending and I'm pretty sure my folks think I was playing osu! again lmao.
Really effective and most importantly fun entry that made the theme work perfectly. Graphics were simple and made it easy to understand what to do, and the sounds also worked super well and were satisfying without blowing my ear-drums out which was super nice. I managed to get around 300 on my second try, but it's 3:20 am in Finland right now so I don't think my flat would appreciate if I smash my keyboard any more lol. But anyways super nice working and polished, I'll definetely come back to rack some attempts and get to 500
Hey! Nice entry! It was quite fun managing the resources and trying to keep them somewhat balanced, and it was well made. Sometimes it was hilarious when you could spend money to get more money lol.
It's a really nice concept and with some storyline and animations and the ship maybe moving somewhere the game would have been more interesting, because now nothing really happens when you keep moving more lightyears away from earth, and I dont think there was an end goal? Correct me if im wrong 8) Music I thought was really epic, fit the game quite nicely. But yeah my only complaint is that it would have been a bit more fun with more of a story and animations and some stuff happening on the screen, but for a jam game that resource managing is well done and nice job to keep it so balanced!
Quite same as what happened with Shaolin-dave, got to literally 109 on my second and didn't get further lmao. Graphics were simple but very fitting for this game, nothing to complain about. Audio was also decent, the song was a pretty fun choice for this game :smile_cat: Obviously the theme was really on point, so gj with that! Those bags that teleported you up + the hard rocks were also a good decision in my opinion, made us think a lot more carefully and not just spam downwards  Gj dude!
@chrisap I'll give you half of it just for being epic. ๐
@ausstein is the first and only person so far to get the virtual handshake and the world record time, with an insane 3:25:375 ๐ค
check his WR playthrough vid to support the chad <3

Felt like that this was a super fun mashing enemies game here! Obviously it missed sound effects and music which would have made the game a lot better and immersive overall, but still pulled off a nice one. Graphics were simple and you guys had nice textures on the 3D models. Powerups worked quite well, the lightning one was easily my favorite as I could just rapid fire them motor saws :D
Movement was decent, at some times it would have been fun if the movement had also worked consistantly mid-air, but that was still good enough! A restart keybind would have also been cool haha. The enemies would also sometimes get stuck on their places as we kept getting downwards, but I activated them by going beneath them somehow lol. Which brings me to the theme, which was amazingly done!
No other things to say than nailed it with going deeper and deeper 8) Nice entry guys, definetely kept me playing!
Yeah you killed it with the exploration! I freaking loved that art style, nothing too complex but good colors and just sick pixel art which I could really appreciate.
I am kind of in a rush so unfortunately I wasn't able to finish (I still might try later), but for what I had time to play the mechanics were really good and simple, super straight forward. Satisfying movement and nice interactive stuff, which made the thing a lot more interesting! And yeah for the time I had going north was a BAD idea lmao. Music was also epic and fitting in its own way
Cool to hear that you have a plan to make this a full game, going to be super interesting to see it, since even though it's a pretty simple game it has a lot of potential and just feels super wholesome. I'll hit you up with a follow on LD to see if you post some milestones while developing it! :rocket:
Oh man that was awesome.. Gecko's are literally the best creature to ever exist on this planet, and fun fact instead of swearing I have said "Oh gecko" (translated to english) for the past what like 7 years? So it was super fun to see a gecko in a super polished game like this. Oh yeah I should talk about the game! :lizard:
Sick graphics, powerful and perfectly working animations and the music goes really well with the game, making me really feel like im in a jungle lmao. Just feels super polished to be a LD game which is super impressive lol. I get where the theme kicks in, and idk nothing wrong about that you are literally just dropping deeper to the black square of terror. Puzzles were also designed super well, challenging and epic! One of the sickest entries I have seen in my LD history
Congrats on the victory :0
Nice! I'm on a laptop trackpad and keyboard right now, but i'll give this a shot later on my pc as well. As the feedback above me stated, I also think a faster movement speed would have made the gameplay feel better, but at least it was challenging and it was cool that I had to focus on shooting, aiming and avoiding enemy ships' bullets! Also I liked the variety of enemy ships the further I got in the game
Graphics are decent, and overall it's a cool untitled shooty game :) Also it fit the theme perfectly which is a part often forgotten in Ludum Dare submissions! :) Good job!
Ayy finally got it! It was a good idea to not make the correct route the most obvious one, took me probably 15 tries to complete this haha. Mel's expressions were spot on, and this was a nice and quick game to play, and simple enough so i wanted to play it through the end. Very nice LD submission
Bro I SWEAR I will come back on PC and annihiliate that record of 2:42, cause now i got 2:10 on a laptop trackpad and fricking want to defeat that top score, but yeah really addictive and simple, i like the small play area and the balancing on the difficulty is pretty much perfect. IMO the sound effects could've used a little improvement, but it was nice to have some sounds at least!
Graphics are pretty self explanatory, nice and simple pixel art  Mechanics worked great, i loved that you could sacrifice some health to go for extra firing rate, speed etc. but yeah i swear i will come back and post a thing of a new record 8) see you soon! (EDIT: I forgot to add it was simply a lot of fun, which is pretty much the point in LD games haha)
Cool game! Really addictive, and as ambitious as it sounded, you made pong, but better :joy: Graphics were quite simple and it wouldn't have been bad to have maybe "levels" like different kinds of planets and as the level gets higher so would the difficulty. Just a random thought though, and i understand its a game jam game and the mechanics did work really well!
With that being said it was super nice and imporant that the asteroid got faster by time, and it got surprisingly difficult (at first i thought it was gonna be too easy but definetely wasnt haha).
Powerups were a nice add-up, for me it was obvious that they were power ups as I see someone was uncertain about it, and yeah just a nice and polished game. Also the sfx were super important! Nice entry dude 8)
Duuude that was so cool! I'm a big anime enjoyer so seeing anything like these cutscenes, animations etc. really made me happy to play this.. especially for a Ludum Dare entry
One of the most original every 10 second ideas that I've seen so far. The music was stupidly well made, and even the fact that it wasn't the same music repeating over and over, but it had little twists. Really an awesome idea anyways.. Also the shadow realm music just banged so hard :guitar:
If there was one thing that i was kinda curious of, it was why it seemed like the cool enemies on the shadow realm didn't damage me at all, they were really running after me but couldn't hurt me i guess? Honestly I think it would have made this even more interesting and hard, but I know it's a game jam and there is very limited time. And not trying to take anything away from you guys, it was still an amazing LD entry! That's the only minor "downside" I could think of.
But yeah everything was great and there was some really cool details like the characters that I was passing by that said random things, overall had a nice humour to it all the way from the beginning to the absolute end. I don't admit getting rickrolled though. :nose:
Overall, my favorite things were the music and applying the theme to it, and of course the graphics and cut scenes were very epic. But yeah, an amazing entry and congrats to you guys on this game! :sunglasses:
@jmad That's a great time! ;D Thank you for playing 8)
Yay! Took me a moment to realize how it worked, but eventually I found out and was able to beat the game :joy:
It is a nice and simple entry with some puzzle action in it, and you managed to do the theme very well. It would have been really cool to have more levels, but unfortunately there is limited time in Ludum Dare. Definetely nice to have quick games sometimes  Nice entry my man!
Hello! Very decent entry. It's impressive to have a game polished from the beginning to the end in Ludum Dare, but you had that done very well. I only have a few thinks that I think could've been done better, but they are quite minor and the positive things overcome them by a mile. :sunglasses:
I liked the Hollow Knight aesthetic, but I must say even though the music was good, I don't personally think it matched with the aesthetic of the game as well as a calmer and moody would have done. But I get that it was kind of humorous, like the cut scene in the beginning. So not a big deal  The game looked so much like Hollow Knight, so maybe I just expected something like a Hollow Knight music since I have played it a lot :joy:
Level design was great in my opinion, and it offered a nice challenge, (especially the last level for me). I don't know if I just sucked, or the movement felt sort of clanky at some points, for example when wall jumping, but easily for the majority of the game it was very playable. The fact that there was an area where you needed to be in the end of the 10 seconds was really amazing in my opinion, and that it was in different sizes and shapes. Made the levels a lot more interesting!
Probably my favorite part of the game was the transition animations, those were very well done. Overall, all the animations were well made. All the graphics were good and I think those animations complimented them to be even better. The timer for 10 seconds a level was also a great idea, forgot to mention that.
For a Ludum Dare entry, it's impressive how you did the game from beginning to the end so well, and it just felt very polished overall. So except for the minor criticisms that came into my mind, it's a really well done game. Congrats on the entry! :v:
Hey! I happened to scroll the LD page on my phone and saw I could play this which was really nice. Controls worked well and were very responsive! Nothing to complain about on the mobile build๐
I tried this for around 10 minutes and couldn't beat it, I guess I should be even faster with how I collect the cannon balls, but certainly felt very hard!(which isnt necessarily a bad thing)
The sound and animations were very good and I appreciate the front flip every time you jumped๐ I quite didn't catch how the Hit and Miss thing worked. Since the ship was shooting at us all the time, was it just random if it will hit or miss or did I miss something? Also I didnt use the downwards button a single time so I dont know if that maybe had something to do with it๐
But yea there are some of my thoughts! Anyways it was really nice to play a game on mobile and it worked very well with no problems. Very good entry even though i couldnt beat the game ๐๐ช
Hello! Here are some of our thoughts after playing!
The audio was very nice, sound effects and music were good! Also the couple different soundtracks are cool and makes it nice to listen to. What we thought, was maybe the drone's movement could be a bit different to make it better. Maybe it could move for just a little bit after you stop pressing the moving button, since right now it stops right when you stop pressing it.
Also, we think because the level is this long, it takes a very long time to play the same parts again if you die, and it may get kinda frustraiting  That's why checkpoints / faster movement for the drone would have been really nice. We did eventually beat the game though and get the package delivered for the mans brother
But yeah gameplay was very simple but it definetely worked, it just took a while to complete it :D At least it was decently difficult, it isn't necessarily a bad thing :sunglasses: But overall its a good entry and the game works fine, so good job on making the game man! :stars:
Hello! Very interesting game. After playing for a bit, we have some feedback! As people have commented, the swimming mechanics worked very smooth and controls were good. Absolutely nothing to complain about that!
Firstly, we thought the instruction boxes were sort of irritatingly placed, and we don't think you would need the controls text box to be on the screen all the time. We also saw a flying fish above the water sometimes which was quite epic :joy:
For the graphics the fish' trails are really cool, and the smaller fish are very cool looking! Also the smaller fish swimming around you move in a fascinating way and seem realistic and epic. It would have been cool to see a bit more detail on the textures and something to make it look even more like you are in the water. It was also really cool that the fish changed form and started to look better after evolving! :whale: Audio was pretty decent, maybe some water sound effects could have been cool and make it more immersive? Music was pretty nice and made for a good mood :sunglasses:
Breeding points were quite easy to find since they were white, but maybe a little shader / animation / text above it could have been a nice addition, but it still worked well! Also side note, it was cool that the plants in the water were moving a bit, small touches like that are very important!
Last note, level upping could have been a bit faster, now it took a super long time to level up and it maybe doesn't give for the most fun gaming experience.
But yeah here are our thoughts of the game. You did a great job and put up a nice game  See you around!
Don't know why but this is one of my favorite LD entries of my five years of taking part! :stars: The most relaxing game ever.
What you said in the Wrap up section of the description makes a lot of sense. A game like this with quite simple mechanics, but somehow still very hooking gameplay is the way to go! Nailed it :sunglasses: For the first minute I needed to figure out how the game worked, but when I got it it was super nice! I maxed the upgrades and started to spam attempts, and when I realised in the bottom corner that you can disable the birds colliders it got a lot more fun :joy: Before that it was kinda a burden to fly to 40k altitude and fall down hitting 145 birds on the way hehe ;D
And dude I could listen to that music forever. So nice just watching the flower fly miles with that playing in the background. Literally perfect :musical_note:
The oooonly thing even I could maybe say as another player has already said, I think a goal altitude would've been nice, but I get that the point is probably just relax and go wherever it happens to go. Well, anyways, one of my favorite entries of all time so great job
An actually a very solid puzzle game. Mechanics worked really nicely and they were taught in a clear way while progressing through the levels. Graphics and sounds felt a bit artificial, but served their job well enough. Color changes in background felt a bit intense. Perhaps the use of color could have been reserved for the puzzle icons instead? The levels seemed to be designed really well! It was challenging enough but we managed to get to 41 levels! Very nice puzzle entry by you, congrats on the job! :stars:
Hey! I'm not sure if im just completely dumb, but could you tell me the controls or how to play? Right now the only thing I can figure out how to do is press the end turn button :joy:
Wow! In my 5 years of Ludum Dare I've actually never encountered a game like this. From the moment the game opened, you could definetely feel the calmness you were going for, and man I gotta appreciate an entry like this. :sunglasses:
Don't know how to really comment and critique the gameplay, it worked fine in my opinion. The colors and music really made this feel soothing and I can imagine some people could really like to play a game of this sort after a rough or busy day to just relax. So if that's what you guys were going for, then perfectly done! Very cool entry and congrats on making this! :star2:
Hey you! Awesome job on your first ever solo Ludum Dare entry
Sometimes it's very nice to play a basic 2D platformer, often you see games in LD where people (including myself often lol) try too hard to make the game stick out, but it's just actually more fun to play a polished game like this.
Pretty nice level design for the levels that were in the game, there was no way to get stuck anywhere and overall the levels were great and you had a bit of variety in there! In my opinion the game could have been a lot harder, but at least I could complete a game now :sunglasses: The crows were also cool and that they made a sound when you pass it, little details like that make a lot in a game. Also great job on the animations!!
If i could give you constructive critisicm, it would maybe be that (how I think) if you make a pixel art game, it would mayyybe be better to stay in that one style for the whole game? Or how I look at it the graphics could look better or more consistant if it was always the same pixel size and only pixel art. But I'm not hating on the graphics, in fact I liked them, but thats just how I think about it :smiley_cat:
Also the movement didn't feel 100% responsive, but that could very well be a macbook's webgl problem, they rarely work as well with macOS as with windows for what I've seen.
But as said before, really good work from you and you can be very proud of yourself and congrats on this LD entry! It was a really fun game :owl:
Nice game! Works nicely and looks okay I guess. There is a lots of weapons and that's a bonus!
Nice retro style game!! Good gameplay and nice job :)
Nice game :=)
Those ducks are cute and the game looks very good!
Nice job with the game! Good concept and the game works well. Well done!
Nice name and a nice game :)
A nice retro style game! Audio is very good in my opinion and the game works well. Only thing that stands out to me is that the player keeps running in air. But it isn't a big deal though. Well done!
Cool game ;D
Music is very good, and the game works really well. Kind of cheered me up! Well done !!
Insanely nice game! Love the cowboys and the animations are very nice! Good job!!
This game looks neat!
You could have done some kind of background instead of only one solid color. The game works well and looks fine! Good job!
Really nice! If you could possibly make the download size smaller, it would help a lot of people with bad internet :) Love the stones and cards. Looks very good! Well done!
@Steve-Sparkes Nice !
Nice concept! The game is designed very well!
Nice art design and the gameplay is very neat! You did a good job!
You dont have the download link!!
Movement mechanics are super cool and the game works well! Maybe you could have added something else than just a unity object as the character, but otherwise you did a really good job!!
I love the game design and the low poly objects! Audio is really good and pick ups and everything else work really well! Good job dude!
I like this low-poly design! Nice
Really cool game! It stays pretty simple and I like that. Concept is good! Good job man!
Nice and funny game! Clear instructions make it better! Well done!
@Jokku Spam kid
Huh! A very sick game! I love the voice acting and the gnome sounds!
@Jokku :3
@Solnak Thanks :p I thought it really needed something and BOOM
@BenPeterson That was kind of the point, to make it look not even close to "professional" xD And all of the graphics, have been drawn by me in photoshop, and that makes it even better :D Thanks for feedback! <3
@ghost-in-the-toast @MattPattabhi @igorimagine @Apple-Dash @fashionbatman @n00b @Artur-Hawkwing @blobo @Velocity7 @jk5000 @vilix64 @Serious07 @Jac-kHipson @Dakota-Jones @ErikU @SteveSparkes @patvanmackelberg
Thank you all so much for the amazing feedback! It's nice to know how I am doing, and how to improve! <3
@NoNiMad Actually, I really thought about making the bird into the 3D mode as well. It was just about that I did not have the time to make it work properly and make the 3D model and animations C: Thanks for the feedback :)
@beebo-studios Thank you so much for that awesome feedback! The time really was the only reason stopping me from doing more :p
@jsd I actually made that cube flipping thing by accident, but decided to keep it there because I found it kind of funny :p
A great game! Audio is very nice and the graphics look very good!! You did a good job with this game!
This is a very cool game !! I have never seen that kind of movement mechanic in video games before and I loved it! Very cool concecpt and game! Well done!
Controls could be easier to use and handle, but a nice game overall!
This is sort of making me think about Lego Star Wars The Clone Wars :p (Except this gamehas better graphics) but it just has a nice feeling, the game works very nicely and even the UI is cool! Very nice game!
Woah! I fell in love with the art style of this game! The audio is beautiful and the water sounds are very good.
And I loved the names about the things (Idk how to explain) And just this was an awesome game! Really good job there!!!
Well, it's a nice game I guess :) It just shouldn't be in polish. You could have done more design and stuff, but it's a nice little game.
Retro feelings coming in :) Nice job with the game!
Cool concept, and the game feels very smooth! Very nice game!
It's okay as it is your first game. The game just really doesn't have a lot stuff to do.. Audio is okay and the car model is fine. + the particles look cool. I also made my first entry in this LD, you could go and check it out :)
I think it's not wise that this game is playable with XBOX controller only, because propably the majority of the players don't have it. Otherwise it's a very nice game :)
Audio is a earrape, and you should make solid instructions, but otherwise thats a nice game!
Idk how that game's size is so large, but otherwise a very nice game and original idea!
Nice concept. There is a couple small bigs that could be fixed but otherwise you did a nice job!
Very nice piece! Audio is very good, controls were a bit hard to master but by time the got easy to use, overall a very cool game, also the graphics are good looking and the concept is nice ! Good job !
I like the look a lot and the bird is cute :) I got some good keyboard typing practice though. A very nice game and good job!
Really cool and original game!! And very good looking art style :D
Should I say original xD
I like these simple graphics!
Really awesome and well made game!! Nice sniper as well. GG
Nice design!! (Trees) Good job dude!
Nice graphics, good audio and a well made game! You did a good job with this!
This was awesome! The hand drawn text things are amazing, audio is funny in a good way, and the animations on the player is insanely good!! Really loved this game!
Nice concept and a very well made game! GG
The thumbnail is a scam C:
Really funny and awesome game! The story is epic and the graphics even look fine :p Good job !!
Nice work man!
Nice game and the character movements work very nicely! And I like the concept! Nice job!
Nice game! Nice simple but cool design you got here! Cool game and good job!
Maybe you could make instructions for the game, but a nice game and keep making games!
A nice game! Audio is good, and the game works very well. I personally didn't really have time to read the questions properly and that's why I couldn't make it to the letter in time. But that was a original concept and the whole school thing is cool! Nice job!
I like this pixel art a lot! Cool concept and it was a blast to play :p Good job!
Very nice job! It's pretty easy and I played it through fast. But that's a good thing in LD's in my opinion. Keep it up!
This was a really good one, wow! I've never seen a game just like this, the idea is really unique and executed nicely. I do feel like it could be fun (maybe for an adhd like me) to be able to do this stuff a bit faster, as this took quite a bit of time to play while avoiding the buzzsaws. Maybe if the levels were shorter and the buzzsaw area would change every once in a while? Just some thoughts. Ahh and this game really screams for a nice music and sfx, it would elevate the game a whole bunch. But still, this is a super nice entry and an innovative idea which is super cool to see, so good job on this one, ESPECIALLY FOR COMPO WOW! (Only now checked that it was compo, well done m8!)
We played your game now, as you said, it wasn't perhaps the most polished product yet but we did get the concept of it and it had really good ideas! The graphics worked just fine for a jam version imo and there were some fun animations. A tutorial could've been useful but you do get the jist of it after some tries. Btw me and the group loved the music ahahahaha! Still, this was a very good entry especially for the time you had and always gotta respect the COMPO entries, GJ and keep up to it!!
A very promising platformer. It would be so nice to see this with finished background and foreground elements etc. but the foundation is definitely there! The movement animations are solid and I really like the art style and could see the vision with where the style was going. I finished the game pretty fast but the mechanics worked just like they are meant to in platformers! Music was also a fun add along with the sfx. Good job on this one guys, epic that you made it even with the troubles in the end!
Hey there! This was actually a very polished and fun-to-play entry. I don't even know how it works, but detecting the signals was super intuitive that was a fun time and the duration of the game was just a good amount of time. The minimalistic graphics work and the music was fitting, you can definitely be proud of this, I really enjoyed playing! Good job!
Woo easilly the most entertaining LD entry I've played so far. Wasn't SUPER BUGGY for me, a little something maybe but still very playable. The shift dodge was a really good mechanic and overall the idea of this just worked very nicely imo! After I figured I needed to pick up the phone it was a really good time. Also I have to say I really loved the design of the itch page and the main banner in general. Super stylish! Great job on the entry folks!
Hey! The idea of the game is awesome and it's the mechanics along everything feel super smooth and polished. Graphics are solid and music + sfx fit the game nicely! The running out of signal animation/shader was also a very important and cool add! Unfortunately I couldn't beat the game this time, but still had a fun time building and let's say I missed the text about signal towers adding enemies and perhaps spammed one too many of them lol. There's probably quite bit to this game that I didn't even find out but that just makes it even more impressive for a jam entry. Great job guys!
Pretty fun horror game, I'd love to have seen more endings for this! Nice entry still, good job!
Hey, this was a super fun entry! I always respect LD entries that aren't too long and this was just the perfect duration very well polished. Music was nice, mechanics worked just as they were meant to. I would've certainly liked to see a couple more levels of this with perhaps a harder difficulty! Good job on this entry peeps!
Fun little game, the mechanics worked well and the music and sounds were definitely interesting! Good job on the entry!
Wow really nice game! Managed to beat it after a moment. The mechanics seem to work great, even though maybe it would be nice if there was perhaps an animation or pulse or something to indicate that its the player's turn to attack. The merchant was a great addition and this was surprisingly well balanced considering it's an LD entry! The artstyle was also cool and I liked the frosty/ice vibe of the game. A very nice entry overall, great job!
