Look: Buggy code! Like, lots of dune buggies, of course: I totally meant for them to take over everything... Screen Shot 2018-04-22 at 10.25.43 AM.png

Nice designs in the cars! Nice game and good job!
Looks nice. I didn't figure out how to get that many cars, but the side-scrolling car game from above the car is unique - not many games available do it like that, so bonus points for that. Also cars are behaving nicely, I managed to push away enemies from the street by bumping to the cars and they are pretty realistic collisions etc. Looks good.
That was a picture during development: you can't actually get that many cars in the released version of the game. Thanks for the kind words!
Any commentaries on godot ?
It was a lot of fun to push cars off the screen, even though the game had no goal. Some metal music and car sound effects could really make the experience satisfying.
Its nice if theres metal music there thats true! Its a fun game bro. Good job
I like pushing the other cars!
@kilosaurus: Godot is a very powerful engine, but it has a very... odd way of structuring games. It took us far too long to get into the node/scene methodology. Hence, why this game is so truncated. I definitely need to practice with Godot more before jamming with it again.
Hey man! I remember meeting you at the Tinkermill in Longmont for LD39! However I totally forgot to play your game for LD39, I'm glad fate brought me to your game for LD41.
Anyway as for the game, It's actually pretty fun just to mess around with, the physics felt surprisingly good and the interaction with the buggies was great. I somehow managed to get two buggies facing backward simultaneously shooting off the bad guys so I didn't have to xD
But as you meantioned the game is pretty empty and it didn't really feel like there was a point to it. I think it could have been vastly improved by just adding a game over condition and a score count for how much scrap metal you collected (or whatever it was that you were collecting lol)
I also did notice a bug where the if the enemies shot the scrap metal, the console would log "caught" as if the player had collected it. All in all, awesome job for starting a new engine during a game jam and actually creating something substantial from it!
xD this game has no purpose, but is fun to make it behave weirdly leaving all the shoots on the map and things like that xDDD
It is oddly mesmerizing and quite satisfying to just watch the buggies do their thing, crashing and spinning out. New engines always take a while to learn, what better time than Ludum Dare ammirite?? Good job tho, it was a nice little game.
Cool little thing, bumping cars around is fun. :)
Cool art, and fun to drive. The controls occasionally went weird on me and I got stuck at the top of the screen, but I think that might be because I hit w as well as the up arrow. It undid the jam-up after a few seconds. This would be more fun with more to do, but I still enjoyed it. Nice job.
That's some decent top down car mechanics you've got there! Could definitely be continued to create additional features.

The physics made me laugh, I can never get sick of watching the enemy's buggies just flying off screen like a piece of cardboard. Also watching them take each other out.
With sounds effects, bad ass soundtrack and some explosions thrown in could propel the game to be even more widely appreciated and played, go max for the whole Mad Max theme this has going for it.
I would love to get your feedback on my crappy product if it's not too much of a hustle :))

Should there be music? I don't hear anything. According to @EkkoEkko there should be, and now I'm confused.
I agree with @Maakep though, the controls work pretty well for a top down car game.
Really I didn't know what the objective was. I found I could deflect bullets and buggies.
Yeah, not sure what @EkkoEkko was hearing, but we didn't add any music...
Ohh haha sorry, i thought its game music background I heard. I didnt recognize that its my youtube playlist hahaa LOL sorry for that
Nice job guys. Very playable. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to map the keys in my head, but they are very intuitive.
