I couldn't get this to run on Mac: it starts up, but my ship just sits there and nothing ever happens. Did I miss something?

Fun, but I can't seem to get past the yellow planet. When it gets small, entering the cavern sends me outside the planet, rather than inside, so I just fall forever (or until I get tired of staring at a blank screen, at least).
Thanks! Yes, the speeds are ranked from Hephaestus (the lame) to Hermes (the winged messenger). It felt better than throwing a number up on the screen; more ancient-y. :)
Nice tie-in with the theme. Curious if you've ever read Glory Season, or just like Conway's game of life in general?

Interesting, although the physics student in me wanted my orbit to vary in height with speed. Neat idea and great graphics.

Didn't really understand what I was supposed to be doing. Cute little minions, though, and endless waves of them to charge at the enemy. :)

Tried Mac version, but all I got was a grey screen. The music worked, though. Might try to build from source, if I get a chance.
