I was duly impressed with the experience you've made with this entry. I was not expecting it to be a constellation making game, but it was very interesting to play with for a while!
I thoroughly enjoyed this game! I particularly liked the introduction, which made the game more approachable.
It's quite a charming game.
This was a really fun game! I love how some of the enemies just explode into chunks of meat.
Great design! I didn't realize that there was a time limit until I hit it. Good work!
I really liked the music and the humorous choices!
This was a pretty fun beat-em up. I'd like to see the additional planets fighters if there's more time for adding them later.
Playing this was an interesting experience. The dodgey physics, coupled with the dodgey enemy graphics was pretty funny!
Nice game. I was not expecting this as an offshoot of the theme. It was a pretty well done bejeweled clone.
I like this game. It's rather punishing in some areas, though.
I really enjoyed this game! The sound of the minotaur getting close really built up the tension. Nice work!
It's a fun and challenging game, although the music was rather distracting. Overall, it's an impressive game, especially since it was made in eight hours.
This game was rather interesting. The robots were rather sturdy, which made survival rather tricky.
This was rather novel. I enjoyed how the camera changed from atmospheric to cardboard-y. I also like how the player kinda just fell apart when they went off screen. Nice work.
Interesting. I did not expect that the game was about collecting things in a rave, but it turned out well.
"Sacked" Lol! I really enjoyed how you keep getting sent everywhere. Each person had a great personality.
This is a fun game! I like how the dogs can pee on four houses at once. It's like walking my dog each morning.
It's a rather relaxing game. I didn't quite figure out what caused damage, but it's still pretty fun!
I liked this game. Although I didn't have a second player, I did enjoy how the characters interacted. The music really made it work, too.
It reminds me of an art-house performance. I love the execution.
This game is very addictive! I absolutely love the procedurally generated rooms. The cat and mouse challenge is fun, too!
Am... am I throwing cats? This is a crazy cat lady game! Nice!
Heh, I love the ending of the game. I also like how the time machine looks all sorts of beat up!
I see what you were trying to do with cats and it's a good premise. I think that the map controls are somewhat unintuitive, but they work well enough. Hopefully you guys can finish it!
A library book throwing game. I like! It wasn't as intuitive to move the characters as I would have liked, but I got used to it after a round or so.
Not a bad, yet simple game. It almost felt like the world was completely open, which was cool.
This game was... odd. My initial impression of the game was "Man, I love the graphics!" After playing it for a little bit, however, I found that the gameplay wasn't as robust as your artwork. I ended up just spamming the bombs, since they didn't seem to kill me like I initially expected. Kudos on using Python for coding, though.
Wow, I didn't expect to be killing spectators with just my voice. I lived the audio coupled with the shaking head on stage. It was pretty funny.
I'm impressed! I didn't think an NES game could be made in 72 hours! It is an impressive feat by itself, but the gameplay being good as well makes the effort even more impressive. Good work!
This game was hilarious! It kinda felt like a craps shoot at some points with the dialogue tree, but I like the BLA bubble to try to get some information out of the person to know what to say.
I absolutely loved this game. It captured the metroid-mania feel very well. Awesome work!
You kill little demon-things with a peanut? That is an unconventional weapon! It felt like that was not really the main part of the game, though. Some of the platforming (the real meat and potatoes of this game) was tricky. I liked the difficulty. The only major gripe I had with it was the non-momentum transferring moving platforms. It's almost like you were jumping onto a people-mover as it was moving. That was slightly disorienting the first time.
I loved the art style and the Shadow of the Colossus feel of the game. I wasn't sure how to deal with the swordsmen, though. It seemed like there wasn't a way to hide from them.
Oh god! I think I just killed Kenny! I love the artwork and the concept. I'm not sure about how the bro flew (it seemed like he'd kinda hit like an air wall or something), but that's about the only thing that kinda bothered me. Great work!
...Wow, this game is basically done. Great work!
This was quite an... interesting concept. It was definitely an unconventional weapon. I'm not sure that the push/pull was worth putting in, but I did like the random gun choice aspect of the game!
I... I should have guessed that the exhaust was the unconventional weapon. I enjoyed the classic feel of the game.
This is a cute little space shooter. I like how you shoot toast. The music was a bit much at times, though.
This was really fun being a cupid ruining people instead of making them love each other. I agree that some of the game overs were seemingly random, but the cost of failure was low, so that shortcoming was only a nuisance.
This is one of the few games that actually made me laugh out loud while playing it. The minimal sound made the "shots" really sound like cannons. Good job!
This is a funny game! I love how you have to use the amp to get around! I think if you polish this, you could have a solid game. Good job!
How did you get it to work, Liam :D? It doesn't look like this is really a complete entry, since I'm getting the same issue as LordKawaii.
Lol, this is pretty funny! it took me a while to figure out the controls for the trains, but once I got it, it was pretty fun.
I think this game has potential, but the jittery background (possibly my computer) and the blurry background and characters made it a little tricky to recognize the which allergy to use. Overall, I liked the game, though.
That is quite a click-fest. I'm not sure what the stamina does, but I did enjoy the visuals you put in this game.
This definitely reminded me of abe's odyssey. I like it!
I liked how the tetrominions would take a nap and build stuff, making the inevitable body-smashing take a little longer.
...What did I just play? I love how bizarre the game is. I must say that the custom controller looks cool, too!
This is quite fun. I enjoy how simple the controls are and how short the memory is of each human ;).
This was hilarious! I love the beeping when you reverse. It was brutally difficult, which was interesting.
Hmmm, I know I uploaded the correct version (I had a broken build at first, grr...). It appears that even though cx_freeze had (apparently) worked, it hasn't grabbed all dependencies. Sorry guys. I'll look into another option for building it.
Ok, I got a new (Functional) version running AND verified it on another computer that doesn't have my dev environment installed.
I couldn't get the Reconquer button to work, but I love the ominous music that plays in the plotting screen!
For reference, I am using the latest version of Firefox (40.0.3). Hopefully that helps.
This is a solid entry! I particularly liked the doom-ish feel of the game.
The bouncy terrain made jumping (and all other movement, for that matter) quite difficult. I found myself yearning for tighter movement and a less uneven terrain to move on. I love the artwork and simple music, though. The character animation was incredibly smooth and looked great.
Interesting premise. I liked how the entire game centered on trying to figure out who did the crime.
I like how you took the theme and made a rather funny game out of it.
Interesting concept. I didn't really get the concept of monster until I realized that I just celebrated blowing up the sun. Solid work!
Aside from a few typos, It seemed to be a pretty functional game. Some sort of explanation of the buttons and what they do would have been nice, though.
That was an oddly zen-like game. Interesting!
That was a great implementation of an RTS. I was not expecting to see something like this done in a Jam timeframe. Good work!
What a wonderfully broken world. I noticed that half of the other cars in-game did the same thing I did and said, "Screw this broken road system, knocking down trees is easier!" I had a preggers lady start on top of a roof, amusingly. Good Work!
I'm not sure what Chrome thinks it's finding, but I just did another scan with AVG to make sure that there aren't any viruses in the .zip file. It found nothing. If you find anything hiding in it, please let me know!
Well, that was strange. I enjoyed the thumping tribal music and the comic book styling, but the actual gameplay felt somewhat lacking. I'm interested to see if anything comes of this start!
This is an interesting game. Now I know how all powerful beings feel when there's that one guy at the back that refuses to cooperate...
AH! I'm stuck in hotel California! Seriously, though, I am impressed with what you have accomplished graphically. It needs more gameplay, though.
A solid game. I liked the goblin slide-dash.
Fun idea! It had a quick and easy to understand interface and had a few intriguing possibilities. I would have liked to have seen a few interesting interactions between the other animals, though.
I like the concept of the game, but I feel like it's not quite ready yet. I ran into the same problem as PickledBrain; finding a keycard and returning to the main area gives multiple of the same people (I'm assuming that one of them is a shapeshifter?) If you click on one of them, you can only talk or purge, I couldn't get ask to work. With a little more polish, this could be a good game!
Interesting game. I don't think the shape shifting was quite fast enough for some situations, but otherwise it was fine. I didn't find a way to deal with the robot birds, though. They seemed like a little bit of a cheap shot, since you couldn't get the rider to avoid the drops.
@scorched - I just verified that it does ask to login on the far right top of the window. You don't have to login, though. There is a button at the top middle of the window that looks like an arrow pointing to a horizontal bar. That's the download button. I'll look into getting a direct download link working as soon as possible.
I am amazed by the quality achieved by the game! It plays well, has tough puzzles and is a lot of fun to boot! Great work!
After shooting a while, I found myself in a ball pit! That was pretty funny. Although I found a weird bug where even if I was aiming left, the balls wanted to go right. It looks great, though.
I had a great time playing this game. I agree that the controls were somewhat unintuitive at first, but after a level or so I got the hang of it. I spent quite a bit of time playing it, too! Good work!
This is a refreshing concept. I wasn't quite sure what to do before I got the first game over screen, though. Having a restart option would have been nice, but some things get left on the cutting room floor in such a short time frame. Great work!
An RTS? Nice! It was a little too difficult to keep enough tanks alive to actually clear the level, though. I like the controls and the music was a nice touch.
I like the concept. It felt like an old Atari style game, except with much better music! Good Work!
This is a really funny game! It's not just the naked druid, nor the shapeshifting of the small animals into rocks to throw, but the resurrection is what really got me. Throwing out the "dead" druid before the real one comes through? Hilarious! Good job!
This is quite a fun little game. I didn't quite get it at first, but I got into the game quickly. Good Work!
I love what your team did here! It has an intriguing concept and absolutely amazing soundtrack! Good work!
I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to do, even after reading the directions again. Interesting premise, though. I like the little musical notes when you finish/fail a contract, too.
It was a little tricky to download the game, but it was fun to play. I liked the use of towers to slow down, but not kill, enemies.
This is a competent twin stick shooter. I've never been any good at them, but the idea of having the enemies shape shifting from the flora/fauna is very fun!
Interesting take on the twin-stick shooter idea! I found the music building over time was incredibly good at building the mood. I think having each transformation available at once was nice, but the keybindings took a bit of getting used to.
Interesting game. I really liked the head bopping of the character and I was pleasantly surprised by the vision versus character controls. I thought that would be more problematic than it actually was. I would like to see where you were going with the idea.
Interesting game. I was a little put-off when I first transformed, since it takes a while to happen, but I was eventually able to use it to my advantage.
Not a bad stab at a game. It was simple to figure out and entertaining enough to play a few times. More levels would have been nice, though.
This is a pretty solid first attempt. Sometimes the jumping had a variable effect, like jumping vertically versus horizontally. I liked the little stubby legs while walking.
Creative! It was surprisingly frantic playing this game, since I personally attempted to create the exact shape. I didn't verify, but did you lower the score if the player only had a small portion of the shape filled out?
I liked the overall feel for the game! It felt as though it was a creative take on the Pac-Man style mechanics. I did run into a bug where I was completely blind after getting to the stairs, though.
A nice, solid entry. I really liked the music and the concept was very similar to Pac-Man. I felt that the Slime behavior could have been made more compelling, but that was only a minor thing.
I absolutely love how cute this game is! It's simple to get the hang of and fun to play as well.
This is quite the impressive game! I am amazed this came out looking basically done and with such good gameplay as well.
This was a very interesting game. I thought the music was top notch and the art style was unique. I think the hit mechanic needs a rework, but I still enjoyed the game.
This was very interesting! I absolutely adored the artwork!
The player movement was a bit stiff. I usually like the player to have a "speed-up" phase and a "slow-down" phase instead of just stopping in place. It adds a bit of sliding to moving and adds just a hint of uncertainty. Otherwise a decent game!
I thoroughly enjoyed the idea, although on a widescreen, I had to adjust the web browser just so I could see everything. Overall, I liked the idea!
I'm not usually one for stoner humor, but I thought the idea of the world rotating under the player was clever!
I liked the feel for this game. It made me want to play with it until I beat it. Although I did find a rather nasty scenario where you would fall off the windmill tower before starting the furnace. I had to restart at that point. Good job!
You made quite a cute little game! I have to admit I played it for quite a while, even without having any other goal than digging to the bottom. The music was perfect for the style of gameplay you have, too.
I am in love with the art and music! There seems to be a bug when entering the yellow planet on the left side when it is small, though. Other than that, it was strangely interesting!
...Wow! I love how this is really an NES game! I'm impressed that you got that working in such a short time frame! The music was a bit repetitive, but that was only after four levels or so. Great work!
This was a rather interesting concept! I enjoyed the artwork and the ability to psych out the AI was fun. It could have used instructions in-game, but that's just a minor detail. I love the artwork! Good job!
I kinda though the right/left controls would be on the outside and the jump would be in the middle. Your description is right. These are both infuriating and engrossing! I love the audio, too!
This a really strange story... I liked the intuitive mechanic of scrolling down to go to the next scene. Good job!
That was a fun game! I wasn't expecting to get caught up in it as much as I was. At some point, it became a matter of pride to get into a stable orbit.
This was strangely charming. I initially found the player movement disturbing, but after a short while, I started giving him a sort of doofy sort of personality. I can't help but get a Stardew valley vibe from it. The music is what really sold it. Good work!
I'm always a sucker for the isometric perspective! I enjoyed the music thoroughly as well. Although there wasn't much game here, I still enjoyed the feel you made.
Man, those monsters sure are squishy! I like how they were so bouncy and alive.
Wow! I'm amazed by the animation you put into this game! I am curious how much time you spent on the animation. The game itself was amusing as well.
I like it! It's a quick little game that fits the theme perfectly.
This is quite a funny game! I liked how it played and forced you to consider the upcoming wursts.
Interesting idea. I am a fan of most twin stick shooters. I felt like there needed to be invincibility frames after getting hit, though.
The light music is a very funny juxtaposition with the reality of blowing up cars to get out of a parking lot. It's a challenging game, too! Great work!
This really feels like a saturday morning cartoon! I love it!
Interesting implementation. I ran into a bug where the buildings disappeared when I took the villager in front of the left house. I enjoyed the artwork and risk/reward of being in the cultist form.
This is a very simplistic looking game. I'm impressed that you jammed it out in Pygame. It definitely integrated the sacrifice mechanic nicely. Good work!
This felt like an educational game, but with more focus on the fun over education. It is really well done, too! Good work!
What a funny idea! I couldn't help but laugh at fighting a cactus with a food truck!
@kilosaurus: Godot is a very powerful engine, but it has a very... odd way of structuring games. It took us far too long to get into the node/scene methodology. Hence, why this game is so truncated. I definitely need to practice with Godot more before jamming with it again.
As a tech demo, this is actually really cool! I enjoyed the "in a crystal ball" aesthetic that you went with.
This is very interesting. It's basically Twitch does storywriting. I enjoyed the text to speech choice as well!
Novel approach to a tower defense! I thoroughly enjoyed the golfing mechanic, although I ran into a situation where I ran out of balls on level two and just had to wait for the wave to end. The paint artwork with handwritten text was amusing as well.
Wow! I really enjoyed the audio design in the library! Having the crystal knocking when it was nearby was a huge immersion boon! Great work!
This game is a gem! The humor in this actually made me laugh out loud! Running everywhere with flailing arms is great. Awesome job!
It was an amusing mix of humor and a repetition mechanic. I liked the commentary you left with the "planet Earth" challenge. A cube? That was hilarious!
This was interesting. I didn't notice the dogs until I already grew a bunch of plants. By then it was far too late for me to save myself. I did find the square-based movement to be a little restricting, though. I applaud your music! It was simple and really made the game feel more alive. Good work!
This game is so funny! I never thought I'd get so easily distracted, especially with a GUN rolling around next to a teddy bear in the passenger seat! Great work!
That. Was. Hilarious! I was definitely not prepared for the first wave of rival golfers! Great work.
This was a really interesting game! I found myself just spamming cards, however. I think enforcing a short delay after the card is played would help alleviate that issue. Great work!
Interesting concept! Although, by wave 10, I had the entire grid filled with towers, making the subsequent waves an exercise in running the clock.
Interesting take! I never thought text-based snakes and ladders would be so funny!
