SUPER ULTRA REALISTIC BOMB DEFUSAL SIMULATOR: SEASON PASS GOTY DLC EDITION by tony.pe 2013-08-27T07:17:00
You got the maximum stars for audio and fun, cause I couldn't concentrate to diffuse the bomb, because of your funny voice acting :D

Top-notch small game. I wished to see the levels where the player has to run outside the pyramid, after getting the treasure, but I think that this maybe will be added in further updates.
Nice gameplay, I like the music and the graphics and how the whole asian style was used in this special TD.
Nice concept. When fully polished, would definitely become a neat game.
I missed some damage or an instant kill, when the rocket hits the ground and not in landing position.
Sweet, it becomes really stressful after a while. Music, graphics and gameplay are really great.
Funny game, the strategic concept of placing the guards at good positions is very well made. Also the music fits well. For future updates, you could let the player stay with the amount of guards left. In other words, if a guard was knocked out a level before, you have one man less for the next round, which would increase the difficulty.
Nice singing :D, cool game
Thanks for all of your feedback guys.
I added a skip button for the intro and a small walkthrough yesterday, before the jam ends. After the judging I'll create a series with the space technican, maybe with chapters, in the same point and click style :).
I wanted to add some kind of incoming at the current scene, to create a bit more action between the seconds, but had no time.
I'm excited to begin with the storyline for this project, in 2 months. It will be about a war between a time and space controlling species, which declares war to the whole galaxy, because they think they are the superiour beings. The technican is no soldier and must solve all problems with his own skills.
Thanks again for all the new feedback :) There is a walkthrough available for you, when the game seems to be not solvable. I'll fix that in a month or 2 and add a tutorial and also some slighly hidden hints in the next updates, that show the correct wire order.
Thank you all for the great feedback :)
Really good game. The simple style does fit to the gameplay.
The best part is, that only the player is responsible for the difficulty of the game. The faster you are, the faster the difficulty rises.
Nice game. Some sweet music would incease the whole gameplay, but it is enjoyable though at its current state. I like the nova kind effect when the player dies. Future updates could contain some temporal power-ups and new kind of monsters. I like the sound of the moving spikes. When they follow you and you hit them, it sounds like a seeking missile :D
Awsome gameplay and really great graphics and effects.
Hey thanks for the feedback. The theme in this case was meant to be one earth, where get one chance to save the planet. For the conrtols, I couldnt create a better help and visual feedback in that short time, but you can click or upgrade only when your resource (productivity) is higher than 5%.
The game has been updated on newgrouds with all your feedback (See the link above). Thanks guys :)
The original one for the LD is on Stencyl.
Great work. The intro was surprising with the voice acting and graphics. I wish it would have been skipable, cause I had to reload the game. But overall great graphics, sound and gameplay :)
Thanks everyone for the nice reviews and comments. I've lowered the difficulty in the post-jam version a bit. I'm busy with another project so I couldn't answer earlier. The gameplay is very difficult because there is no real choice of difficulty. My intention was to let this game go further and the second part of it should be the rescue of the Moai when by one of their spaceships, maybe you can see them to emit the signal when they reach the surface. The amount of Moai that the player then has rescued from the volcano would ease the further gameplay by letting more spaceships appear that use a rescue beam. The Moai have to jump further to the sky to reach the spaceships. Maybe I'll add this second part when I have some free time. :)
Nice, at first I didn't know what to do, but I like the exploration more instead of getting too much help. The manipulation is great. I hope to see the project full fledged out in the future as a sequel. The music and the graphics have a great retro style. Good work.
Nice one. I had problems at the start to understand what was going on, but this was my fault cause I skiped the descriptions xD. The graphics, sound and gameplay are great considering the short time.
I like it. The only difficult part are the spikes when the white ball falls, but with some effort i was able to handle it. The music and slow paced gameplay fit nicely together. Is there a deeper message to the game? I had a feeling that there is one.
I like the color choice and the gameboy color style. I love the piggyback mechanics. Clever usage of the theme.
Neat idea. I like your narration.
Nice use of the them. The graphics and the gameplay are relly great. Well polished game.
The first seconds it is hard to understand what to do, but you managed to set the descriptions right. Nice game. The graphics and the music fit well together and the idea is very creative.
I agree with others, the game is really challenging, but if you have patience and study the enemy movements, it is solvable. Nice project!
Great pixelart, music and gameplay.
Funny game. It's like Mario Kart mechanics mixed with Ragnarok (the view of the field and the turn of the characters).
Great game, there is great potential for more. The graphics and ambient sounds are well polished. Good job for that short working time. I noticed that the first tunes are inspired of a Breath of Fire song ;). Nice message by the way.
Nice project. You are the only one using a taxi in space. Pretty nice idea :)
Pretty hard when playing alone, but funny with another person. Nice features with the electric cage and the different threats.
I really love the graphics and the music. Changing the platforms is challenging. Great job!
The graphics and music are top. I only wished the control would be a bit more smoother. Nice work.
Nice graphics and music. The mechanic is really appealing. I liked the power ups and the dashing.
Nice a strategy game :) The graphics are really great.
Could become a great game, when you replace the graphics and add some music. The idea is great. It surely would become a super game, when adding obstacles in advancing level. Great concept.
Thanks for the feedback. I've added a download link for the flash file.
@TeamQuadratic: That's the point :D. It is somehow an experience I made. Like beeing in trance for a while and then becoming clearer with every second. I was aiming for that feeling. The game is a newsgame, which offers some subliminal information about events that are not mentioned in the news. At least in my country ;). I tried to show that there are more informations hidden from the people or they don't really realize them.
@hamster_mk_4: Thanks for mentioning. The UI Icon will change once you visit the bourse. It will become smaller and the player can fully read the sign.
@mramaizng: I need to check that game, thanks for mentioning :)
@FinnMacd: I wanted to show that there are hidden informations that are not clear to most people.
@sprawl: Thanks. Unfortunately the opening of the eyes is the awakeing. Everthing beyond is not programmed. I did the music with Fruity Loops and used some Sytrus samples.
@rjhelms: :)
@Accidental Rebel: Thanks for your opinion. I wanted to add more elements, but the time frame was to short to full fledge my ideas. I'll try to add some in the post jam version.
@Chikun Dev Team: Thanks for the honest critique. I suck somehow on graphic xD, but considering working alone I think I did a great job. I'm glad you already knew the messages, you can consider yourself awakened. Unfortunately there is still need for other people to understand. The music was created shorthanded by me, so there is only a short endless loop.
@phytong: Being confused with the game is somehow essential. The messages need to be reviewed after playing. When one eye is open, then you know the secrets of this part of the game.
@Tanner: Thanks :)
@everyone: Thanks for your reviews (I'll add the changes you all mentioned in future updates). I'm glad you got the messages right, and the game is not as unfunny as I thought :)
This will be a long answer post. Wow, thanks for all your reviews.
@Razoric: Thanks, I'll try to polish the up with clearer messages.
@AdventureIslands: Indeed, it is dark :). I haven't time to make the gameplay more clearer, but I'll add this later.
@ponywolf: Thanks!
@psychonull: Thanks! I wanted to play more with pictures instead of text with the instructions.
@mess110: Thanks!
@Gametery: Yes it is :) I guess my next games will only be for fun, cause my last projects were all too serious somehow.
@tschmitz: Yes I wanted to be as neutral as possible, to let the imagination space for interpretation. Adding an indicator for the possible walkable areas is a great idea. I'll try to add some in the post jam version.
@badlydrawnrod: That's what I was also aiming for :)
@jpmit: Thanks!
@vandriver: Thanks! I'm still glad that you finished the game :). The pixel eyes were the most easier part of drawing, but also the funniest.
@Druid: Thanks!
@pjimmy: Nice desciption of the game :)
@jomomomo: Thanks!
@ceosol: Thanks for sharing your experience :). Yes you got it right, these things can happen. We just have to be aware of them.
@Zolmeister: I wanted to add a street with homeless persons and some super expensive shops to have a bigger contrast. I also planned that the player can use the most furniture, but I ran out of time too fast. Maybe I add these feature in future updates.
@havana24: Thanks! Yes the character is slim sideways :D. This was my first human sprite and I've got to practice a little more.
@01101101: Thanks!
@43iscoding: Thanks!
@Raphy: Oh I see how the game can be interpreted. I didn't wanted to wage, just to clear, that there are other informations that should be stayed in our mind as well as the presented in the news. I'll think about better ways to show such images and try to be as neutral as possible :)
@Revenend Speed: I'll try to be more convincing next time ;). The next projects of this kind or the post jam version will be more refined.
@donaldducky: That's ok if it seems encrypted. See it as some kind of message, that there are unknown facts that has been revealed, besides the ones we already know.
@Evil Cult: I understand how the game can be seen. I'll try to polish the way up that the messages are presented.
@Snoother: I wanted to be as political correct as possible, so there are no real clues which I'm pointing my finger at. In fact I can't, because we all have something to do with the world affairs :). The "I can see know" is meant to be related to the news aspect (hidden news vs. the ones shown publically), not that the player is enlighted. Seeing is the first step. Thanks for the honest review.
@Sean Hogan: Yeah, thanks for the suggestions. I wanted to use text at some parts, but the time was to short to full fledge the system and I only added the pictures.
I've added you on twitter. My name in twitter is satyre_stencyl
Thanks everyone for your awesome feedback :)
Nice. The ghost style is really great. I like that the previous players also can shoot. Solid work.
Great use of the theme. I like the upper region which is somehow the mirror of the lower part. This helps to fill the circle with color. Great work!
Nice I like the "idle game" style. Great work!
Hi, I had problems extracting the windows file. Could you upload it again please?
Now it works, thanks for reupload.
Nice game. I like the retro graphics and the gameplay. I wished to see some powerups for the turtle, but otherwise the fighting was not too difficult.
I like the gameplay. Nice graphics and mechanics. I had to try several time to win the first circle, because I didn't knew the brown traps decrease your coins.
Could become a great castlevanian game, when you polish it up. Mechanics are nice, even the controls when running fell slightly slippery. Nice touch with the world change. It feels save to be in the other world. Good job.
Funny game. Pretty hard sometimes. Nice graphics and retro sound.
Interesting storytelling game. I missed some simple ambient music or sounds. This could improve the gameplay a lot. Maybe future updates if you like. The story is deep and I like the choices and also the detailed description of the environment.
Btw. I answered your review to my game :)
Great innovative idea. I like that you have to compose music to have a save trip.
Nice one. I had also problems figuring out what to do in level 7. In Firefox the levels didn't load sometimes, but this can be fixed by reloading. The mechanics are smooth and the game challenging. The graphics are really great. Nice for your first LD entry.
Very complicated at first, but after 10 tries I got it somehow. Nice Concept.
Interesting game. I like the different colors that you used.
Nice, that's a really big solar system the player can explore. The gameplay makes fun. I wished to hear some sounds, but I guess in the post jam versions you'll add some :)
Nice game. The police is very persistent, though xD. I never could escape.
I can't play it (no Android phone), but the video looks very interesting. Nice use of the hell/heaven style. I like how both characters are chained together, even they are of the opposite sides.
Nice work for your first Ludum entry.
Great idea. Your narration is nice.
Nice game. I find it difficult to play alone, but 2 players can have a lot of fun together. The graphics are polished and the gameplay fast to learn.
Really great. Exploring the small galaxy is fun. The beginning is very hard, but it gets easier after the first conquered planet.
Nice game. The graphics and the sounds fit well together and make the game especially moody. I like the idea of upgrade planets. Therefore the player has to think carefully in which direction he has to conquer the planets, because the weapons have different attributes.
Interesting entry. I love the portals and the gliding.
I got 93 seconds on the first try. Nice game. I felt like the controls could be improved a bit, but after the 3rd level I got used to it and it wasn't too hard anymore to control the character.
Nice combination of 2 game mechanics :). Great art and music.
Nice Atari style. The gameplay is easy to understand, but challenging. Especially not hitting all pigs, while trying to kill the ghosts.
Brilliant usage of the theme. I find it very amusing. Great work :)
Great teamwork. I'm still playing xD. Everything is well polished and fun.
Thanks everyone for your review and your ratings :)
Have a happy new year!
Wow really impressive :D I like the art & music very much. The game is highly polished for such a low time frame and has a nice message. Great work!
I totally like the mood of the game. It leads to numerous ways for interpretation. Good work :)
Love the art style and the music.
Pretty fun :) I didn't get it the first time I played it, but as I started with a clicking rampage I got the gameplay mechanics. Interesting use of the theme. The music was fitting. I could suggest to put in a better help to hook up the player faster and use some voices for the people to get more immersed. Good job :)
Thanks everyone for your feedback so far. I'll rate and play your games this weekend :)
The gameplay is not finished, yet. I meant that by saying the end is not finished. You will be able to see the shape you have to repeat by a "wall" that comes in your direction. You'll probably understand it, when I'm finished :p. I'll upload a post-jam version with a new link so the rating will not be affected for the LD Version.
I reuploaded the windows versions x86/x64 and also the mac one. Checking out the WebGL version now.
Let me know if there are any errors. Thanks!
@curtamyth: Thanks for the hint about the music. I disabled it, forgot about that function :)
@all: Thanks for the comments :), I'll review your games and rate them as well.
Music is the most motivating part to continue the game. I like the gameplay a lot. It was interesting to see, that you used the theme the whole game and not only at some parts. Great work!
Great work. The music and graphics were nice and add to the atmosphere of the game. More vegitation and variation of the island with lighing & shadows would polish your game up. :)
Great game. The visual effects and music are awesome O.O ;) Love it!
Will become a great game when you finish it. Try to include more transformations that you can unlock when you level up and some puzzle elements. I think it would fit into the gameplay. Good job!
Graphics and music were great. I like the puzzles a lot. Great work. Didn't encounter any bugs :D
Funny mechanics. Really great idea and use of the theme :)
Nice one I like the plopping and random transformation xD
Love it. Great concept :)
It was fun to play. Good job :)
Nice work. I wished to see a timer when the transformation ends. It doesn't have to be a number, maybe some visual indicators like a flash or something. The game has a lot of potential and you can add a lot of levels in the future :) Great work!
I really like the use of the theme in your game. I also recommend to use the mouse to look. Great job!
Awesome work. I like the art style and how you managed to create a sweet convincing 3Dish perspective with the angle and camera view. :)
Oh sorry wrong comment xD (I'm playing too much games)
So here the corrent review ;)
Very strange submission, in a good way. The background is heavy ^^ I have no motion sickness, but you got me somehow dizzy by the speed xD
Graphics are nice and the theme is clear. Good job ^^
Sweet game. It was difficult indeed. It was quite funny to ride the UFO and push it down by the weight of the play. This wasn't intended I guess, but maybe you could play more with physics and how to interact with the enemies. It was a really funny moment. Maybe the enemies affect the others when they collide or when you push them together. Nice entry :)
I want to see how you manage to make your own metroidvanian version of the game concentrating on the shapeshifting part. Keep up the good work :)
I must say for the first time playing it, it looked really polished up. The low poly graphics and the settings including the menu were really well done. I had some problems with the gameplay as it seems to be too slow and also the chest couldn't be opened with the E key to check the magical items that I could use to kick some enemies. But aside from that I want to see this to be completed into a full game :) Keep up the good work.
The joke was quite funny. The gameplay was hard for me to understand in the first second because I didn't recognise the grey preview. Good job. Keep up the work and polish it up with sounds and particles and screenshakes ;)
Good use of the theme. I also recommend to adjust the controls. Good work :)
Even though there is a lot of potential polishing that can be done, you managed to create a suprisingly interesting atmosphere that I liked a lot. This could be a very nice game when you use it to create a "shamanic" experience. I wished to see the the human and bird from 3rd perspective to feel the transformation more. Great work :)
Music and graphics add to the atmosphere of the game and are the main motivating factors to keep playing. I would like to have more control of the gas shape instead of letting it fly up. This would make the game feel a lot better. Great work :)
The theme is very well incuding in your game. I didn't find the music annoying ;). In face I was firing in the rythm of the music as the bullet sound fitted well. It was the most fun part for me to shoot in the rhytm of the music. I know its strange but maybe you could incluse some rhytm game mechanics? Nice touch with the carring of the enemy bodies through the color walls. Keep up the good work :)
Love the Wario Ware Feeling ;)
Good job. I wasn't sure what to do at first but when changing the realm I got it ^^ The 2 doesn't seem to cause a transformation. The atmosphere and graphics were great. The theme was used well :)
Pretty challenging due to the isometric view. Also very psychedelic ^^ Sweet submission :)
Great one with fitting music and gameplay. The help paper surely helped a lot :D
Overwhelming atmosphere. Very strange indeed, but with a high art value :) Great one!
Hehe funny character and also interesting approach of the theme. Nice :)
I was surprised to see game design elements of my game :D The world is really small ;) I played it through the end.
I had the feeling that the labyrinth part was slighlty too long, but before I wanted to quit you somehow managed to make the impossible true and remotivated me to finish it, by letting me see the end of the road.
The atmosphere was really well set up and the graphics were nice. I saw the same problems I had in my game with the jump n run section because of the sloppy prefab ;) nicely done with the moving platform and adding the small part that pushes you forward. The checkpoints were very helpful.
Overall a nice game experience and I would like to see this full fledged into a real big exploration game :)
Nice art style and variation of space invaders. I liked it :)
Very funny, I instantly got a smile while using the whip. The mechanics are very well done. It looks so simple to use it but isn't xD. I see the theme in there, it reminds me of an 90's flash game, and yeah Flash is an "ancient techology" nowadays ;p Great job, it has a high fun factor. Please continue the development with more obstacles, effects and levels. Would be great to see this game getting bigger.
Nice concept, it feels that it could have an infinite amount of combinations of fireworks. Great work.
Wow ok, I don't know how you managed it, but somehow I learned what to do on my own xD even though I didn't understand everything. Great puzzle game! I really like the atmosphere and the number based puzzles. Would like to see this polished up in the future :)
Damn I also wish to have the chance to play this in VR :D looks like a lot of fun ^^
Hehe nice puzzle game. I reminds me of an old minigame I liked to play very much :) great work!
The animations of the voxel models is really great :) I like the concept and love that you don't include gore to the game and use the scare factor of the beast more. Nice game :)
Surprisingly interesting game :D At first I thought it would be tetris like, but on the second run I understood the rules better. Solid entry with nice music and graphics.
Super interesting and minimalistic game. I had fun letting the followers being eathen by the standing characters. I would like to see the game more polished up in the future! Keep it up!
@eli-delventhal @edmond00 @vfabien21 @cayleblucas Thanks for your feedback!
@edmond00 The repetitive element of the game is also part of the theme, where it becomes annoying to use the same objects over and over again :D I changed it in the post-jam version to max 10 items, because in the testing I was annoyed with 40 rooms as well xD
@eli-delventhal The room with the screen corresponds to the item on the 2. floor "One Game on one Screen". Maybe you give it a try :)
@vfabien21 Nice :) I didn't thought about calling it a museum which it is indeed, thanks for the feedback.
@basecase : Thanks for your review :)
@binaryunit : Thanks I tried to make the objects look like the last LD themes as close as possible :D
@masterkrepta : Does it happen while pushing the "R" key or by putting in a wrong item? Pushing the "R" key was for testing and doesn't give a sound, maybe this felt glitchy? Thanks for the review
@behenate : Thanks for your review :)
@bryceltaylor : That's true, I couldn't manage to find the acceleration change in the asset I used. On the other hand I tried a super speed effect during the development and got some strange collisions with the objects I carried so I deactivated it. The jam version doesn't have the full object set you can find in the post-jam version. The mechanics were set to positive for all objects in the jam version, because of time struggles :p. I agree about the instructions, they can be improved :)
@saphires : Thanks for your review :)
@sahilts : Thanks for your review :) I changed the objects position in the post-jam version, jumping should be more easy.
@wetdesertrock : Yeah due to time problems I could only add 20 objects and the main mechanic of the game. I wrote it in the description above ;) The post-jam version has already a full object set and funished mechanics implemented, also some of your suggestions are implemented. On the time topic, I invested less than 1/4 the time with the modelling, the main problem was the connection and preparation of the level mechanics which caused a lot of problems and fixing time xD modelling was super fast compared to bug fixing :p
@lilkrit : Thanks for your review :) I thought it would be nice to use the LD topics as a tribute to the jam :D
A funny fast pace game with high reaction demand. I like the gameplay. When you change the fluid to candy it would fit more for younger players too. Would like to see this polished up in the future.
Good take on the theme. I found the flying humans on the one side very funny, but not realistic, which is not a bad thing :D It depends on how to continue with the style. Flying humans which move like they have been on a catapult when using the beam would be fun. Also some upgrades of the saucer or temporal powerups would be nice for future updates. Keep up the the good work :)
Great idea. Had a lot of fun playing it. Keep it up! :clap:
Feels pretty polished in art, music and gameplay. Love the camera movement. Great work!
Stunning game art! Gameplay is nice and hard while progressing. The mexican is overpowered. Barrelroll and shooting is way to hard to dodge xD Great game!
Nice start for a survival adventure game. Even though it was easy to play, you managed to create a nice atmosphere around the mining, forageing take. The balancing wasn't to difficult for me. Would like to see this game fully polished in the future. Keep it up!
I absolutely love the art style and the game play. Some parts reminded me of The Legend of Zelda with the water part and the jumping and the pirouette. Great game! Please keep up the work!
Crunshtime the game with a coffethrower :D Super funny entry. The game mechanics are simple but effective. I'm not sure about the music though, seems to be protected and i would change it. Otherwise solid (fluid :p) entry!
I like the style of the game and it reminded me of the game "Scanner Ombre". The only thing that confused me was the lack of bullets of my gun. I didn't understand what the hit range of the shot was. The contols are good and I could walk through the levels with no big problems. Keep up the good work!
Awesome, I would call it Snake 3000 but its more than that :D Love the Cyberpunk feeling and the game mechanics. Stunning entry!
Awesome game, I had fun at the second the car could make moves without moving too fast ^^ Graphics and music remind me of the N64 ära games. Great entry!
Funny game, I would have change the jump key to "W" or "Space" cause this is the standard in most games, but other than that it's a solid entry. Keep it up!
That's what I call the essence of a game loop. I like the serious take on the theme and like the art and music choice. As I like to create music loops it didn't annoy me that much and added to the overall atmosphere. Great job!
Nice game! I didn't thought you can actually finish a tetris game in the short time frame, but considering that, you managed to create the tetris feel, which is astonishing! I would like to see the next tiles for better planning. The idea-combination with coding is great :D
Very difficult in the beginning, but after another try I understood what to do. The red balls were very fast and I lost very often xD. I like the art style. The gameplay could be polished a bit more in future updates, also adding some nice music and sound to get the atmosphere of the game. The theme was used very well :) Keep up your work!
Lol the animations are hilarious. Nice take on the theme :D
I like the art style and the take on the Tetris-tiles for a nostaligia effect. The game has a lot of potential. I could manage to build up enough height to let the cat get to the top line. During playing I could see that you can push the tiles down with the crane. Maybe the tiles should feel more solid somehow. Anyway I had fun playing it and the theme is implemented very well :D Keep up the good work!
Loved the exploration part in the super market. Awesome variety on different groceries :D :clap:
Wow, it got difficult very fast ^^ I like the concept so far even with the current simplicity it's effective. Would like to see a short trace of the enemies to understand their path better, but with some more tries you get the hand of it. Keep it up. With polishing this will get really awesome :D
Great take on the theme, it did feel to slow at some moments, especially when hitting the water, but on the other side you can jump and walk with the character by holding the keys, which was relieving in the end. I also like, that you don't have to recollect the items you already collected and the introduction of new items after some progression. Keep it up!
Great job, I liked the music choice and the increasing difficulty while collecting the coins. Put a smile on my face :D
The idea of the game and the implementation of theme is good. I think if you polish up the game further it will become fun to play. For example with health packs, upgrades and the ability to kill the spiders. Keep it up!
Would be nice to read about your experiences you made as a post mortem :) The start looks promising!
Great game, it has a lot of fun and it has a lot of potential. Gonna ketchup them all! Keep it up, one of my favorites so far :D
The controls are really hard to master, the game itself is well done. I like the graphics. Keep it up!
Stunning take on the theme as it is made in a simple but quiet effective way. Love the vibes of the game, and also the part where you can't see anything on the screen when beeing too greedy about collection bulbs. Great game!
It was fun to play for sure ^^ I would liked to have some temporal upgrades like faster shooting. Also crowd control would been nice in a future update. The game is great with a lot of potential. Keep it up!
Great game, love the art and the level progression. One of my favs!
There is a lot of content given in your game which is awesome. Many manageable positions. The tutorial was very good. Keep up the good work, the game has a lot of potential :)
The only thing I would edit is the draining of the battery. You could make it only drain when the drone is moving, otherwise the stress level gets up too fast. Otherwise the game was pretty fun and the music is really smoothing :D Great work!
Damn, what an awesome take on the theme. The art is stunning, the sounds fit perfectly and the progression is quiet familiar ;) One of my favs so far!
Graphics and animations are great. I felt that I was overpowered the whole time, but I think this is something that you want to change in future updates? Great LD entry, if you keep up the work, this would become a nice full game :) btw. I had the most fun beeing overpowered and getting a literally light lance as a weapon while shooting countless bullets. The fun stopped as I didn't got any challenge after a while. Maybe this experience is something you want to takle in future updates.
Awesome art style. The game mechanics are simple but effective. Love the way you used the different characters to introduce different abilities. Keep it up!
Nice game, I like the graphics and the change of the monsters. Even though there were no sounds or music, the game has a nice atmosphere. The controls were tight an the levels nicely created with climbing difficulty. Would be nice to see this as a full fledged game :)
Thank you for all your feedback so far. I agree with most suggestions :) I couldn't spend more time on the project, but it was planned to have more items and also an object related score system. Basically also related to the setting e.g. your trip to london would bring you more points, if you put inside an umbrella, rain coat or things related to london in your appartment. In the future I might work on it more to a fully fleged game :)
Thanks everyone for the valuable feedback.
I agree about the facts to improve the page layout, using more build types, more information and images for the page, to give a better overview as well as giving textual feedback to games played.
This time I just wanted to participate after a long time, and didn't had much time left for improvements :D But keeping the feedback in mind for future entries for sure :)
Very fun experience. I knew the first second I saw the screen, that it will be annoying as hell to get the groceries done and I loved it ;D: The only thing I would recommend is, that the timer should be clearer and also better visual hints where to find the groceries on the list. Otherwise I see it as a perfect start for a multiplayer game, where you have to compete with others on who is the fastest one, while other npc shoppers block your way :D
Very good approach to the theme. You got me after some seconds when I was thinking it would be very easy to get the job done xD Well I would try to get a better coworker in game, the second I would have the option. I would describe the game as having a lot of positive stress xD. Very good job
Very unique game. I like the graphics style you chose and the story itself. The camera sometimes got me stuck on finding a way to continue, but strangely fits the feeling I had playing the game :)
Very action filled game, very interesting idea and also the mechanics are good. Despite the fast pacing and the control of the flail, I like the concept very well. The only thing that was too hard for me is the fast movement and approaching of enemies. Maybe the spawning rate should be a bit lower, so in the beginning you can level up and based on that, the spawning rate will raise up, because you have time to get used to the controlls and the game difficulty. It would feel more like my own fault when I fail in the end :D
Very good use of the theme with a creative approach. With some good polishing I could see it being a casual game, maybe also with real news topics in the future. Would be interesting to see such a game :)
Nice idea with the bugs attacking your hard drive. For me the only thing that was a bit confusing was the upgrade for the shooting. It seems to be harder to shoot after upgrading, because before, I could find a good rhythm and shoot really fast. Beside that I had fun to try to survive as long as possible :)
Great idea, also with the strategy behind spending the resources you have and trying to figure out the best way to use tools.
