I really liked the immersive notifications! Fun take on the theme. Cooldowns were a little long, but lots of fun!

Very funny take on the "Limited Space" idea. Loved the little hard drive notification the most! Good submission :)
I thoroughly enjoyed this one! Especially the game over screen lmao 🤣. I didn't like the shooting speed and feel at first, but that made it more satisfying when I got some upgrades.
This game was a lot of fun, I played it for a lot longer than I've played most other submissions. Great work!
@scottmakesgames Thank you for the feedback! I agree the laser mechanic is a little janky, it was my first time ever making a projectile so it was a learning process, and it didn't help that the shop upgrades were also bugged at the same time, glad you enjoyed the game though!
@mocadium Thank you! I figured the sound would catch a few people off guard and get some laughs out of it, I know some of my friends that played the game thought it was their actual computer giving the notification 😂
I like this game, but my computer has a blue screen again!!!
Woops -- should have read your note bout the bug!! Was fun tho -- loved the upgrades, felt like they made a solid difference :) Great jb with the SFX
Cool entry! Love seeing Godot games. The different abilities all felt unique and useful, and I had to change the way I played a fair bit based on the ability I selected. Every mechanic I interacted with worked, and it was clear what I had to do at all times. I did enjoy aiming the shots just right to collide with a far away virus as it ran in. Also appreciated the extra polish in the music change and the hilarious low disk space notification. If I could add any one thing to this game, it would be an online leaderboard so that I could try and flex on everyone else :p
Nice take on the theme :) the abilities were well designed and unique. The biggest thing missing for me was some juicy graphics and vfx.
Great job!
Windows keeps blocking the game :c nvm i got to play, cool little game, easy to pick up and play. i liked the directional animations of the hero :D
@arachnid56 I completely agree, I am a solo dev at the moment with only programming experience so what you're seeing is good old programmer art, I wanted to make a whole detailed map but it just wasn't in my skillset so I had to settle for what there is, but I tried making the mechanics work really well just so I could attempt to make up for the lack of graphics
@qaolin If its blocking the download you can click it and click download anyway, or if it pops up the blue screen you can click more info and run anyway
It did work after all :D
Very fun little game! It would be cool if I could hold the left mouse button and shoot on my own. But boi, the notification and the BSOD at the end scared me a little. I need to backup my old drives!
Fun game, I like your take on the theme and the fact you put in some power ups, makes for diverse play. I had a little difficulty getting used to the aiming due to the laser offset vis my mouse cursor but I managed to get the feel of it. Solid jam experience! Thank you.
You had a good game! It was funny to me when HDD health went down and a notification popped up about it. I thought it was something wrong with me at first) Then the blue screen of death after playing the game. It's funny) I would try adding an auto attack mode so it would be like Vampire Survivors
Very fun and easy to play, maybe if the lasers didn't go through the disk the game would be a bit more challenging
pretty fun game! I did notice that after I got my upgrades that I just stayed in the middle to just play a click and shoot shooter but it was fun and I really liked the popups and end screen! the windows sound caught me off guard the first time!
Nice little shooter. Good work!
Cool game! Very interesting take on the theme as well!
One thing to say: the dog! Fun game, the upgrade limit is a shame, but it's well done (even at max upgrade you can still buy upgrades). Good work!
Good game
Pretty cool! It's a little difficult for me to manage though.
@pierre-marie I believe you're the first person to actually get to the end of the game so far to see it, congrats! on another note I was disappointed when I saw the upgrades didn't work how they were supposed to but it was my very first time ever making a shop type system and first time making a projectile in the first place so it was more of a learning experience!
Very cool and simple game ! The bias is very interesting !
@congeesetador A great first experience then!
Such a fun take on the theme. The one annoying thing was the enemies coming from the top not giving me a lot of time to shoot them, and I also wasn't quite sure how to use my powerup, but the low disk notification and game over screen were great touches. Love the sense of humour.
@tomrijnbeek To use the ability you just press right click and then the cooldown in the bottom left will start counting down, it's stated in the controls section of the description but I should have added a controls scene that explained everything
Really fun take on the theme! I think it would have been cool to have some upgrades for the power ups and a way to see your currency without the shop open. I had a fun time with this one!
simple but funny! I hope my debug process can work like this - eliminating those bad guys lol

I had a bit of trouble getting the game to run, but it was very fun after that, a simple but effective entry. Good work.
I found the shots very thin, difficult to hit the enemy.
This was a lot of fun, the abilities and upgrades add a lot of depth for a game jam game. The art for the hard drive in the center was really funny along with the whole use of the theme. A little camera shake on enemy kill would have made the shooting feel a bit more satisfying. Great entry, well done!
The notification was such a good idea and the game close istself when the hard drive is broken, realy nice! I like it, congrats, great work
Great game, I liked the increasingly intense music and the Windows notification. Just standing next to the hard drive is, I think, the optimal strategy.
great game! I do like this type of theme. I'm very happy that I could play and rate this in LD54. XD
Amazing game! I really didn't like that we had to spam the mouse but it was still fun!
Great idea. Gave me a good chuckle when the pop up in the bottom right appeared. But at the same time, it took away some screen space. Unless that was intentional because of the theme. The shots could fly a bit faster, but other than that, I had fun.
Fun. I believe that the work on the graphics of the character and characters improves the player's experience
Loved your game, great work! :)
Hey, I checked out "Disk Defense" and it's quite a hit! I loved the humor, especially those Windows notifications. The music and abilities really stood out. Some challenges with the laser's speed and a few bugs, but overall, it's engaging. Maybe consider a controls tutorial for newbies and address those shop upgrade issues. Great job, though!
I'm not a programmer, so no notes there, but as a composer I can say I really liked the music and sound. great work!
@dan-burns That actually makes we really happy to hear! This was my first time ever making music and sounds effects so it was really just a learning experience for me, I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

Really nice game and a cool take on the theme!
Very strange game :D But it is not bad to kill time :)
Nice little game, I was expecting to see some disk space running out kinda games :D Liked the death screen and notification! Good job!
Simple but fun! Nice with an upgrade shop as well as a starting ability and adding more options could be even more fun. I'd prefer if I could hold down the mouse button to shoot but that's a design choice.
Nice idea with the bugs attacking your hard drive. For me the only thing that was a bit confusing was the upgrade for the shooting. It seems to be harder to shoot after upgrading, because before, I could find a good rhythm and shoot really fast. Beside that I had fun to try to survive as long as possible :)
