LD46 — Keep it alive

SAVE THE DINOS! by marcusnystrand 2023-10-09T05:25:12Z

Fantastic idea, simple and it works. I wish I could vote here. I liked the graphic

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Der Schließmuskel by OddballDave 2022-10-20T15:30:59Z

The graphic is incredibly different, that's good. But I didn't think that every 10 seconds a new one drops, whatever it is, fits the theme. I didn't see any difference between throwing it in the trash or in the character's mouth. It's very interesting in the first few seconds, but it's like an art installation, there's no goal or anything, just feel it. But good artwork...

HAZCAT - Toxic Feline by johnnysix 2022-10-20T00:19:43Z

Very cool that it was made in construct 2 hehe, I use construct 3. The use of 3d in blender for the character is very good, it fits well with the graphics, which are beautiful. There is a gameplay adjustment to be made, the jump is too high and these levers being adjusted at the time of wall jumping really made it very difficult to the point of not wanting to go too far, as it got frustrating. The music is kind of repetitive. But the art of death is very good, the graphics are the highlight here. You did a good job on the construct. It would be nice if it was on Itch.io, because here it took a long time to load, I even thought it wouldn't load.

Terra Nova by N4tticus 2022-10-21T00:53:59Z

The graphics are nice, but the gameplay is quite confusing. It would be better to be able to walk using the arrow keys or WASD instead of the mouse. After the first enemy defeated, many came at once, there should be a more balanced difficulty curve. Nor could I say how appropriate it is to the theme.

MinotaurRush by FooMar 2022-10-18T20:20:20Z

Very good idea, really only a single player version was missing. But in this case I know it would take a lot of work and time to program the machine's AI...

10 minutes till midnight by rightearphone 2022-10-20T01:58:08Z

The game loaded immediately, that was very good, good optimization of your project. But I never played card games, I don't know what to do or how to play, I pressed and chose cards, but I didn't understand anything. Anyway, nice job with the graphics and sounds.

Telepeter by mrpoopybutthole 2022-10-18T20:33:30Z

I really don't know what to do in the game, time runs out and we go back to the beginning again. I didn't see any way to progress, always going back to the beginning...

SquareMan by Flying Dog Fish 2022-10-19T00:23:27Z

A great game without a doubt. I'm just not sure about the movement which seemed a little difficult to control. And I would improve the graphics, which could raise the game's rating. I would also improve the sounds. With better graphics and sounds, the game would be perfect. I got to the second level and it made me want to play more, although time is short, I would play this game more.

Labyrinth by Diannara 2022-10-04T22:32:16Z

The maze changes too quickly, preventing any attempt to advance. The camera on the mouse is too fast. If the doors closed and the maze changed without the game pausing in that animation it would be more interesting.

Raidar by Paul Merkamp 2022-10-18T22:22:10Z

What I really liked here was the graphic, which is really good. But the gameplay seemed confusing to me, I didn't know what to do, or I couldn't figure it out. The sound didn't help either. But the graphic is wonderful, good job regarding the graphics. I really wish I could have fun with it.

Crab Game 2: The Craboratory by Mardood 2022-10-22T00:06:53Z

Just like the other comment, a normal top-down shooter game. A really exhausting genre, but we know it's a game jam and time is short. Maybe a blood on the corpse would be nice. Sometimes I went to open the door and died without understanding why, or I didn't see it properly, I don't know. But we have full gameplay here and good work for that. This type of game could stand out for very good sounds or a lot of blood, or some other kind of appeal.

Changes by Lincolnsalles 2022-10-14T18:51:44Z

@lorwon Hi, I haven't posted yet. I'm in the Extra category and it took me a while. Now I've posted the project and you can test it and tell me what you think. Sorry for the delay in responding.

Changes by Lincolnsalles 2022-10-18T22:12:08Z

@simplepotential Glad you liked it. I will be working on it for a while longer after Ludum Dare ends. My goals are: add an ending, add music (I intend to make original music on the guitar, I think it would be nice to have a very original and unique atmosphere), and add more layers of difficulty until reaching this ending. The player is always flying up, I must add a specific height as the end of the level. Thanks for testing.

Changes by Lincolnsalles 2022-10-19T22:28:00Z

@bloham In fact, everything was hand-drawn, including the sides. Since the sides and part of the top menu are drawings that I had already done for other projects, but used in other different ways. I reuse a lot of my art. I really didn't plan on making a hard game, and it's one thing that annoys me a lot about indie games, the exacerbated difficulty, and I made the same mistake here then. I will review this. I'll follow your tip on being able to anticipate the blue energy balls somehow. As for cheating, I will eliminate the chance to do so. I also intend to improve the top interface by increasing the fonts a little bit. And also a song would go well, something ambient a little dark and dystopian. I really appreciate your feedback, thank you.

Changes by Lincolnsalles 2022-10-19T22:33:17Z

@bloham When the screen turns red, don't hold the fly button, just keep pressing and releasing so you don't spend all your energy. But I'm currently implementing a new mechanic, if the energy runs out and you press the button to fly, the player will glide, not just fall too fast. This will help to stay alive.

Changes by Lincolnsalles 2022-10-21T01:15:57Z

You are absolutely right, it is necessary to explain the buttons in the game itself, many must have died for this. Really the music will be added after Jam, it is very much missed. I will continue the project because I enjoyed working on it and received good feedback about the game. Thanks for the feedback.

Changes by Lincolnsalles 2022-10-21T22:55:27Z

@ava-skoog Thanks for playing and commenting. Really for the sounds I just used Bfxr and I couldn't get anything better than that lol. But I also didn't think it was the right sound for a flapping of wings. It sounds really annoying from time to time. Good observation. Soon this will be changed, as well as most of the sounds, and also the graphics, although I liked them, but I consider them as a draft at this point, something like just what could have been done for Jam in time. They can be improved. I don't want to make a difficult game, but it looks like it's difficult, and that needs to be balanced too. I'll also consider about the X button to fly, since I wasn't the only person who told me about it. Thanks.

SENSATIONS by etrealjunior 2022-10-18T20:49:29Z

The music matches the game, the box animation and the pseudo 3d scenery are pretty cool. The level design is also good, but I think the stages should be shorter, time is very tight. And as for the theme, on the 30-second timer, it's like there are 3 10-second parts, but I don't know if I saw a theme fit in that. But visually it's a good job. It could be fun, but I felt frustrated in the gameplay.

Count Down Dracula by Guilloteam 2022-10-20T14:49:23Z

Estou em um pc muito fraco sem placa de vídeo nesse momento com apenas 2 Gb de ram, aparece uma mensagem dizendo que não suporta WebGl :-(

House Of Desire by Noirox 2022-10-21T00:29:31Z

There is no exit or Esc button. I didn't understand the relationship with the theme or any 10 minute counter. The graphics are nice, but too dark, the lighting is poor. The changes from screens to dialogue are interesting, but I didn't understand the relationship to everything else. The jump seems too high. The blue bar when jumping on the wall seems unnecessary. Music is cool.

Ayyy Leon's 10 Second Turmoil by Corrupt Spaghetti 2022-10-18T21:03:06Z

Although a little repetitive, it was the most fun Jam so far for me, congratulations. In minigames sometimes I had to turn around to find the buttons to press, like in the bathroom. But it is very suited to the theme. Although the graphic is too simple, it works. It's all very simple, but all very fun. I think the phase could be shorter, due to the lack of content, because it was a little repetitive, but still, very fun and cool.

Secret ingredient by Guzman 2022-10-21T00:13:33Z

Really as reported above, there is nothing to do in the game, you start in a food pantry, 3d game, the food is very well rendered, and this made the game a bit heavy, I think poorly optimized. There are empty corridors with nothing, no menu, no esc to exit, in short, nothing, just walking with ASWD, nothing else. I wonder what the original idea would be.

Rush Hour by SephoWepho 2022-10-18T20:00:36Z

Great job. The music of A.A. was pretty cool, although I tried it for my project and didn't get anything suitable. A crucial issue that I think disturbed the balance of the game is that the first customer takes a long time to arrive to be served while the time is already counting, this makes us lose considerable time, and when we start to serve the first customer it is almost 8 seconds, and then a snowball of other customers starts coming. I think there should also be a progression of ingredients, starting with a few and later increasing progressively. They already start with a lot of ingredients, all this makes it almost impossible to be able to serve and walk the line at the same time. Getting that right, the game looks amazing. A great job without a doubt.

My Rotten Soldier by Misfire_dev 2022-10-20T15:09:43Z

Atmosphere and sounds very good, but I got stuck when I finish pushing the box, I get stuck between the box and the wall twice and I can't get out. Good graphics and music, but the gameplay is heavy and difficult. I also didn't understand where it would be related to the topic.

Nuclear Pulse by erikengineengineer 2022-10-20T16:02:08Z

I couldn't run, this error message appeared: A D3D11-compatible GPU (feature Level 11.0, Shader Model 5.0) is required to run the engine.

Nine Knives by Fudgeawsome 2022-10-21T01:07:59Z

Really different from anything I've ever seen. Interesting and difficult, the sound is very good as well as the graphics. Although it doesn't seem difficult, it really is difficult to move forward. Very original.

Fall Apart by AlgeBRUH 2022-10-20T15:50:31Z

At first I thought I wasn't going to like it, because even though I knew I had to press the F key, I only realized later that I had to wait for the bar to fill in, but it's not very visually clear, it took me a while to understand. But after understanding it until I spent some time playing it, it's a brilliant game idea of the theme. It fits perfectly into the theme. This would make a great game, if the graphics were much improved. A ship falling apart and lots of things to fix. I enjoyed that. The fixes take a long time at first, you should add a difficulty progression, at the beginning the fixes should be faster, and little by little things could get more difficult. When you press F, a much larger repair traffic should appear, because this little square is hard to see. Great idea, but needs some tweaking. I enjoyed that.

Seasons Journey by Haotian Chen 2022-10-20T15:02:05Z

One of the best uses of the theme so far, brilliant idea. The graphics are beautiful, but the music is lacking to really engage the player. The save system doesn't seem to work, I fell many times and came back all over again and there's no way to die to get back to my checkpoint. The menu doesn't work, although it doesn't need to. You need to resolve the checkpoints somehow. But Great job, I'm impressed.

Cat-Livery!(Cat Delivery) by M1chael_dev 2022-10-21T23:37:10Z

Here the page did not open, it gave an error: Failed to read the 'serviceWorker' property from 'Navigator': Service worker is disabled because the context is sandboxed and lacks the 'allow-same-origin' flag. / So I downloaded it, but when I open it, it doesn't open centered on the screen, it opens part of the content up outside the screen, I can't explain it right. So I couldn't play properly. The 3d graphics are nice, I didn't notice any music in the game. Anyway, the fact that the game does not open the centralized screen prevented me from evaluating correctly. I could only walk through the level, but I didn't really understand what to do. I also competed in the Extra category.

Pandora’s Box [WebGL/Win/Touch] by AJ Studio 2022-10-21T01:31:17Z

Super well balanced difficulty. The graphics are cute and the sound pleasant. I would highlight the very well done suitability to the theme and the balanced game design.

10Y Lost, 10M Lives Regained by jjbug 2022-10-21T01:19:46Z

The graphics are good and the ambient sound is nice, but I had no idea what to do here.

LD54 — Limited Space

Solar Trucker by peremily 2023-10-04T07:01:28Z

I like flying aimlessly through space, but there is a moment when the stars end and I'm in total black. As for the theme, it was the opposite of limited space.

Actionmart at the Awesomemart: Starring Action Matt by MrTroy 2023-10-20T17:41:44Z

Only 9 bullets in the gun, then survive without bullets, just run and dodge until you wait to be cornered and die. I even lasted a long time... Why not give me bullets so I can blast the zombies?

Stingy Seating by stevenjmiller 2023-10-12T05:06:11Z

@stevenjmiller@stevenjmiller You helped me, I couldn't pick up the passengers. But this game is too difficult for me, without the video I can't pass anything, I feel incapable lol

Tracked by Ava Skoog 2023-10-08T02:41:58Z

I really had a lot of difficulty with the camera on the mouse, it was too sensitive, it was really difficult to control, it was dizzy. The environment is very good graphically and sound. I picked up two keys on the way back, but I couldn't find the third one, if there was one. So I don't know if there is an end. Good sounds of the guy knocking on the door, scared me a little. It's really cool to have a setting in a train carriage, I wonder how much you can do with it.

Tracked by Ava Skoog 2023-10-08T05:44:54Z

@lincolnsalles No, I didn't use the M key, I only read it after playing. I looked a lot for the third key, I even looked at the ceiling lol. But I must have forgotten to look somewhere clear.

Blow Ball by jk5000 2023-10-08T01:29:02Z

Unfortunately it didn't run on my Windows 7. It's the second unreal that I've downloaded like this and it didn't run.

Perse Auki Aavikolla by Tutti Ankka 2023-10-04T20:15:20Z

Very fun. I gave full marks to the sound because the bass melody is fantastic and the sounds are ok. Fun scored high too. But regarding the theme, I didn't find the space limited enough. Overall I gave high marks here, although I didn't make much progress, I shot and ran over some cars insanely for a while, it was fun

Time Labyrinth by LeviDSmith 2023-10-07T05:39:18Z

I played in html5 but the screen is limited to a section with sidebars. Crops a part of the screen. I played it anyway so I didn't have to download it. Space is really limited. It's all very simple, but playable.

Wellslide by Alfred Clark 2023-10-04T03:42:19Z

I'm too lazy to download games to play, I prefer HTML5 directly in the browser, but come on. Initially the bird frustrated me, but I soon learned to deal with it. Things got really interesting when I discovered that I could jump off walls and push off, then it really became a lot of fun. A good lesson on how to make a fun and simple game. The highlight here for me is the fun. The graphics I found to be average. The theme I didn't think suited it so well, although the space wasn't huge, I didn't think it was limited enough. The music is normal and fits. Highlight for fun.

Broken Robot by Local Minimum 2023-10-08T02:29:38Z

I really missed something, I change the letters but I don't understand. I know it has a puzzle mechanic but I can't understand it. I didn't understand the connection with a robot. I don't think I understood anything, but as others understood, I think the problem is with me lol.

Kofferpacker by Satyre 2023-10-17T23:44:53Z

The game is actually cool, the apartment is bigger than I imagined, picking up objects is fun for a while, after walking around and picking up some things it gets boring, but the experience is cool. I really don't understand why you didn't put images of the game on your page or rather, why you didn't make a gif. When I was walking I imagined a gif picking up the objects and walking, it would look great on the page. I completely agree with @laserpanzerwal and I even said the same thing as him in his post on the main page. I even learned a lot here from you in this sense. Because I saw and learned that it is necessary to play and evaluate as many games as possible to be evaluated, but I learned here that we also cannot underestimate the fact that we need to have a page with images and the best that we can to attract attention and the best: an html5 version if possible.

LIGHTDANCER by xk_the_name 2023-10-10T05:36:20Z

Finally a brilliant starter tutorial, without the need for those annoying dialogues. A great hands-on game design lesson here.

QPCA-77B by Jimbly 2023-10-13T03:57:37Z

I came here and even opened the simulator, but of course, I don't understand anything. From the comments it seems very good for those who understand.

Prisoner 32 by commanderstitch 2023-10-09T18:46:36Z

I must have missed something. It's on topic, but I tried to bite through the grille, I think I bit someone, but I didn't understand

Purrfect Escape by silvio 2023-10-14T04:25:31Z

The movement is very fast at first, but then I got used to it by jumping first and then putting it to the side. I managed to reach the end. A good example of a complete and fun jam game, simple but well executed.

F.R.E.D by Mr_Field 2023-10-08T03:47:42Z

I'm really impressed. I actually played for a long time, even after dying I continued, due to the brilliant fact that each hour starts in a different place. The look was what motivated me to test it and it's great that you created this clean chart with a perspective style. The sound of this game deserves top marks, the character's scream is truly terrifying, you can really feel the severity of the damage. I opened a wrong door and the vacuum of space burst me, it was tense. I found some keys, but not all. Even though I know I could have found it, the green goo is there to get in my way. The thing about seeing the map on the computer terminal is so brilliant. I would be playing this game for much longer if I didn't have to test others. It deserves to be expanded or finished. Even though it already seems complete. But I think there is more information missing than what to actually do, I read on the page that there is how to assemble items, charge batteries etc, I would love to have done that but I don't know how, I would have to do a lot of research... but it's brilliant.

Textris by davision 2023-10-09T05:56:37Z

It took me a while to understand, but even when I thought I understood, I'm not sure lol. Good graphics and sounds.

One flew over the Poopoo's nest by tiffi 2023-10-18T16:42:18Z

How cool, for the first time I was able to give full marks for humor.

Cybermaze by notime4games 2023-10-19T08:19:31Z

It's a disaster that this developer has rated so few games, because this game needs to be seen by more people. This mechanic is very innovative, top marks for innovation. I would just like to be able to hold down the mouse button and the shots come out automatically, pressing the button causes my tendonitis, so just pressing would be ideal. Great entry. 698.png

Verliies by Ace17 2023-10-14T05:32:31Z

This game is incredible, despite the simple graphics the level design is brilliant. By the fourth or third I was really dying too much and after a long time I had to leave on schedule, it got a little insanely difficult, but it's still a great game. A little hidden pearl.

Tiny Temple by sinclairstrange 2023-10-19T19:43:07Z

I spent at least around an hour here, easily. What we have here is insane for a game jam, it's too much. The pixel art graphics are very good, simple but very well used, everything is visually perfect. Adequate sounds, balanced gameplay, it's not easy but it's not difficult either. When I fell on the thorns I couldn't jump anymore, that's a matter of certain death, maybe I should be able to jump back and get out of the thorns. The diversity of weapons and randomness is incredible. I realized the second time I died that the game wouldn't be repetitive, this is a game design class, I put it in my favorites so I wouldn't forget. Dude, please, you need to play more games and publicize this on the main page, I don't know, there's so little left, I can't accept that a game like this is hidden, it's very paradoxical. At ludum dare it doesn't really matter if your game is insane unless other people find it, and the only way is to play the games, that's a fact. I saw an exception but the guy is a very well-known streamer, so.

Lines by thebmxeur 2023-10-18T03:17:35Z

I downloaded it, but after unzipping the executable file I click but it doesn't open. Aui is windows 7

Lines by thebmxeur 2023-10-20T16:42:35Z

I downloaded this one but it didn't work either, but I confess that Windows 7 is already becoming intolerable lol

Ink Souls by Neowedge 2023-10-18T14:18:10Z

The original graphic is VERY beautiful. The music is also pleasant. As others have said, some easier introductory levels would be nice. I didn't understand something, I have the sword attack, but the enemies don't die. The look is very nice but the game play seemed a little confusing to me. But it was a great jam

Ink Souls by Neowedge 2023-10-21T17:50:35Z

@neowedge you have to find a way to teach this in the game itself, during game play. And preferably without stopping the game, I know this is challenging, but I believe it's the best way. In my project, which is very basic at the moment but which I will update soon, I am also designing ways to make everything more intuitive, avoiding any dialog boxes or things that stop the game. I don't even want a start menu, I'm going to try to put the start menu options inside the pause options. All that is required is to start the game, and any options can be accessed from the pause screen within the game. I no longer like those games that start with a large menu with 300 infinite settings options. And believe me, paradoxically I love a gigantic menu of options, but I just wish it was built into the game and only when I want to access it, and not as a pre-game slowing me down. The same thing as a tutorial like in your game, just let the player start right away, but you can leave a space large enough for him to only encounter an enemy a while later, so that he has time to learn all these mechanics. colors, then you preferably create a combat where he can't die, and it's just a lesson to teach that. Of course this is just what I have imagined in the games, it is more of my personal opinion, which I am just rambling on with you here. Because the ludum dare doesn't end when it ends, right, otherwise we wouldn't be here and I'm realizing that right now...

Smasher by Iluvatar 2023-10-09T18:36:08Z

As I like metal and rock in general, I really liked it, even though I don't like too much dialogue in games, the audio of the voices is brilliant, the pixel art graphics are absurd, really very incredible and deserves top marks. But when it got to the part about the joke about God and the devil, the blood pact and such, I didn't like the joke. But it was just something personal. God couldn't help, but the devil did. I didn't think this was cool personally, but I get the joke. I'm a fan of God and I don't like the devil (even though I like rock), so I preferred to stop there. But the art and everything is really amazing.

Pineapple Burger Pizza by godsboss 2023-10-07T05:31:26Z

I missed a song or sounds. I put the ingredients together, but I couldn't get anything right, I definitely missed something. As for the theme, it really fits with the limited space.

Pool Frog by notnasiul 2023-10-19T20:50:03Z

Peak 8, very cool. I found it very fun, very well executed graphics at peak 8. Sounds well fitted too. I didn't see any problems, it took me a while to discover that I could get out of the water and control the direction of the jump, but everything was intuitive, the way I like it, without boring tutorials on the screen explaining everything with lots of text. Great entry

Trash Truck Hero by Nikolaj 2023-10-06T07:44:09Z

I couldn't resist and ran over everything I saw in front of me.

Limited in Space by MattHartley 2023-10-15T23:08:51Z

The fun is 100%. It's incredible how such a graphically simple game can be so fun, like an Atari game. Very good indeed. I reached level 7 and I wish I had gone further.

SkyIsle TD by Inventivum Games 2023-10-04T05:53:13Z

It was very slow even here in my browser. My computer is slow, but not that much. I think it needs optimization. I couldn't play properly because of that. The graph looks different and interesting. It is far from the theme because it is in a super open and spacious field. I really believe it needs to be optimized.

AI controled RTS by oillen 2023-10-19T14:44:24Z

It's really experimental for now. You can't play properly. But I was curious which engine you did this on, because in the future I plan to try my hand at a very basic RTS and little by little I'll improve it.

AI controled RTS by oillen 2023-10-20T22:00:12Z

@oillen oh how cool, very good. one day I'll try to make one in construct 3, but in the future

MIROH by Wendel Scardua 2023-10-17T03:07:54Z

Interesting mix of tetris and maze. But I don't know if it works very well in the long term in gameplay. I don't think it's very fun, but technically it was very well done for a jam

HEADSPACE by jelch 2023-10-17T02:15:23Z

It's difficult to write anything, it's not a game, just an experience of dragging some elements while a head looks in the direction of the mouse.

Forest Survivors by donvermo 2023-10-06T01:44:26Z

The highlight was the sound and suitability to the theme. I thought there was a lack of optimization because it was kind of freezing here, but it could just be my machine. Simple graphics, very simple. Everything very simple but within the theme. But overall I found it a bit boring

Pipeline Ride by Papaver 2023-10-20T16:55:09Z

It seems simple but it's difficult lol. Interesting how it's so simple but smart. The little song is cool, agreed. A good jam starter. I'm terrible at it and I didn't get past the third stage, although I could if I tried enough times.

The mechanics are obviously very different and interesting, but I didn't understand the function of the tape beyond the look. Sometimes the camera gets stuck and you can't see the character. It looks very good, but the gameplay doesn't match the visual appeal. In practice it's not fun, although it's very impressive, or it was me who couldn't understand or develop in the game. It might have just been me.

Ribbon 2 by 100th_Coin 2023-10-19T15:26:45Z

@100th-coin I managed to get the reel inside the left gate at the bottom behind the gate. I'm going to watch the video, in fact I had watched it but quickly, I'm a bit against having to watch videos to understand. So I watched it a little quickly just to see what the game was like and not to understand the puzzles because I wanted to understand it myself. / No, I don't think it's a good idea to put a text at the beginning telling you what to do, that's not cool, it's very annoying for games that have a lot of texts before starting the game, generally the player goes through everything and doesn't even read it, He wants to play soon, especially at ludum dare. So, you must teach what to do during the game. You can place text saying what to do in some way on the screen during the action, without interrupting the gameplay, like a little ribbon, text inside a ribbon as a reminder at the top of the screen or at the bottom as a tip saying: you can use the tape to go through places that couldn't go after it was closed, etc. You can use a light bulb icon or a character that gives tips that are exposed, all without stopping the game. Stopping the game is boring. I'm going to test the game again in two hours, because I may not have understood the mechanics, then I can say better what I achieved, it may be that I didn't understand. I'm not that smart at catching on quickly, and from what I read in another post on the main page yesterday that you may have read from one of the archer games that is at the top of the rating rankings, it said that no matter how obvious a thing in your game, make it even more obvious. So you might think it's obvious enough, but it never is, there's always a player who's distracted or not intelligent enough and will make the mistake that for you was very obvious that he wouldn't make. Maybe you can give a hint when the player gets inside the first cell. Understanding that you want him to figure it out on his own, but if he doesn't figure it out he will get frustrated and think his game is broken. Your game has great visual appeal, the focus is on fun and not on puzzles. You explain the puzzles in the first cell, then he already knows what to do in the next ones, and then yes, you start to come up with more difficult situations that he will have to think about, but he already knows more or less what he has to do. to do . But you have to explain it once at least. This won't ruin the game. Many people didn't understand what they had to do, you can't take that risk

Ribbon 2 by 100th_Coin 2023-10-19T17:10:28Z

I saw the whole video now, very impressive, all this gameplay is very original and I imagine how complicated it is to code this. But I think everything was presented too quickly, in one phase. This is so innovative that people are not used to it and won't know what to do, they won't be able to solve these puzzles, unless they are taught, very slowly, part by part. At each stage they should be taught a new way to use the tape, and over time, it would no longer need to be taught, they would understand the concept. Having to watch a video kind of loses the fun. So I know the game is already ready, but it would be cool if they introduced the mechanics little by little, but watching a video it really becomes very clear.

Urban Jungle by Shess 2023-10-17T02:03:47Z

I moved each item to its square and watched the days go by as the plants grew and such. The graphics are very beautiful and the music is pleasant, but I don't know what to do next. The plants seem happy, I added water and fire, but I didn't find the challenge, at the end of the day I told them to start again, I think I missed something

SLONOKOT by katamary 2023-10-11T04:40:02Z

I thought the game was beautiful graphically, the sound of the music matched, it lacked sound effects but I know lol. The art is so beautiful, I made it to the end, phew. There is one thing, the frame rate dropped in the second phase, it was very slow for me, so slow that it actually helped me pass that level. This also happened with my 3-user game. In my case I'm still investigating the fix, in your case, I saw that your game is poorly optimized, I think, because the images are huge, there doesn't seem to be a very good reuse of assets, if I'm not mistaken, you must be using images very heavy, especially in the cover and end photos. That weighs. At the same time, the game opened very quickly, yes of course, because I downloaded it. But when it runs, even though the files are on my machine, the video card has to render all these images anyway. Anyway, I don't know if it's a fact, but it was a great game, it should have gotten more votes and publicized it more.

Tiny Treasures by SaraMartins 2023-10-19T06:47:18Z

Honestly, there isn't much fun in clicking boxes and playing in the truck at all times. I don't know what I should throw in the recycling bin, so I throw a few boxes in there too. and that's all, playing cash. The graphics are good, I know that jam time sometimes doesn't give us time to implement what we would like. So I don't know if you would add any mechanics, because for now it's just throwing boxes into the truck, there's no difficulty or reason to continue.

Purrimeter by johnnysix 2023-10-14T05:43:06Z

The idea is fantastically original, the sound is good and graphics too. But the gameplay is too difficult. I only passed the first level, but in the second it seemed impossible to advance. Sometimes the mechanics of the designed box don't seem to work. So it wasn't fun, although the mechanic and idea is one of the most original and faithful to the theme of this jam.

Shoot'n Trade by PatBGames 2023-10-17T00:43:59Z

I read your post about starting with this engine now and using type script, it seems difficult. This is a traditional ship shooter, but somehow it got complicated I think. Control is terribly difficult, when it would just be the wasd directional arrows or arrows. The arrows work however, but you are also encouraged to use the mouse to move around and it looks pretty bad. The shooting is terribly slow, completely taking away the fun that we have in this type of game. But the graphic is satisfactory of space and enemies. The ship is slow and the entire system for buying things is a bit complicated, I imagine how much time was spent on this system that seems very complex but perhaps took away all the gameplay that cannot be worked on because of it. I don't know, it's probably just me, but a new code engine must be really complicated. Anyway, I enjoyed killing some ships for a while

Rootin' Tootin' Zombie Shootin' by EX3D0 2023-10-19T06:52:42Z

Good pixel art. There is no lack of extra hearts or another way to increase energy from time to time. When I kill the last enemy the hordes appear very quickly with many around me very unexpectedly. The progression of difficulty is very fast, it gets difficult very quickly. The look is well done. It's a great example of a jam entry, simple and small and functional.

Gone Fishin' by cdunham 2023-10-09T04:34:21Z

I fished up until a certain point, then I got sick. But it was a different idea. I think the inventory was too big for the tight space theme

Feast Work by Sam Machell 2023-10-09T20:15:37Z

As others have said, I'm still trying to digest what I threw here, but it's definitely brilliant and different from anything else. A unique experience in this jam. It deserves to be better publicized in some way.

Shrimpwrecked! by Mathstr0fficial 2023-10-09T21:11:24Z

Different concept. The randomness really makes it difficult like you said. I like the bubbles and ocean floor environment. When the 4 missions end, a bar decreases and I don't know what to do.

Limited Ssssspace by Quoclon 2023-10-20T17:21:20Z

As incredible as it may seem, you managed to innovate in the snake game, I gave it top marks for innovation. Because I don't remember in the snake game you can kill, shoot, the better the shot, you can recover, unless the head is hit. As I don't usually play snake games, these mechanics may already be out there, but I wasn't aware of them, so it seemed very innovative to me. And it's fun, my 5 year old daughter will enjoy playing it when she gets home from school

Tiny Factory by AncientEntity 2023-10-04T06:15:50Z

Interesting, but I think I'm a bit slow when it comes to factory games. Even watching the video I missed something. After turning on the first few I get lost. This is beyond my limited capabilities accustomed to platform games and the like. But it's on topic. The music is a little tiring, but it's in the factory theme. It seems challenging, I'm not good at this type of game...

Hope Falters by Jeremy Ryan 2023-10-22T02:49:36Z

The minimalist music is very pleasant, and the art is not that simple, we have the female character with her clothes blowing in the wind, this gave a touch of minimalist art, but well executed

Farmageddon by IllaBom 2023-10-17T00:53:39Z

I played your game, it would be better with some sound, but I understand that the jam time doesn't always allow it, although in your case there were 3 in the team, so I don't know. One thing that destroyed the experience is that the carrots that are my candy in the game run out. I only have 15 and I didn't find any new ones along the way, when they run out, that's it, I'm finished. Another thing is the extreme difficulty right from the beginning, in a few seconds there are so many enemies and I'm already out of bullets, what else can I do? And you should play and review more games, you only reviewed one game. People will only play your game if you review games. Even posting on the main page, one of the first things they see is how many games you rated so as not to have the minimum 20, and seeing that they only rated 1, they will probably leave the page, especially having to download the game if it is not in HTML5 on the browser. Rate more games.

Carl's Limited Adventure by Ranzor 2023-10-08T04:35:10Z

I thought it was a problem with the screen only opening a part. I even downloaded the other version, but it was only when I jumped to start that I discovered the joke. It's very incredible and I don't know how it did it, but in practice, although it fits the theme very well, it makes it impossible to play properly, because I don't know what's underneath and I'm going to die or get lucky. It seems to be pure luck. It's interesting but I don't know if I could play this in practice for a long time. But appropriate to the theme.

Seagull Island | L'île aux Goélands by Seb_degraff 2023-10-10T05:59:43Z

Very original idea, suitable music, balanced graphics. A good entry

One Step Further by justking144 2023-10-09T00:39:23Z

When I click it doesn't seem to change much. The idea isn't bad, but I think it was missing something to make it work.

GOOSE SLAYER by StrangerYann 2023-10-16T20:07:00Z

The download size is a bit discouraging, but it's not that big either. Watching the video helped convince me. But it's a shame, my Windows is Windows 7 and it's giving errors in most games made with Unreal, it keeps asking for DLLs, etc. I would have liked to have played.

Flob the Bloing by Branquelo 2023-10-09T04:50:00Z

I came across your post that suggested it was something much simpler, because it was just level design squares. The graphics are beautiful. Very good level design, although I struggled in some parts later on, but that's because I'm terrible at precision platforms. It really deserves a Steam version. Only the music became annoying after a while because it is very short and repetitive. But I know that time doesn't help.

Societies Stranding by UnitedFailures 2023-10-15T03:39:24Z

I played both versions. The music is pleasant. The second version with radar really helped a lot, without radar it's like flying aimlessly in space. But I liked flying in space, the graphics are cool in general. In the second version I can rescue people and take them to the blue planet, in the first version I can't find anyone. But even on Monday, my time is up and I don't know what else to do.

Cavin' by Daxtear 2023-10-11T04:51:46Z

Great graphics and cool kick mechanics. But I found the speed too fast, it was as if I were walking on ice. It would be nice to also allow jumping with w or up arrow, in addition to space. Also use the arrows, sometimes I prefer to use the arrows. I found it too difficult at the beginning, all areas seem inaccessible unless I'm not jumping enough. I kick the wall and climb in some places, but others seem impossible. I didn't see the difficulty progression, but the visuals are very good, I just found the gameplay complicated

Lava Run — High Intensity Cave Escape by Netrunner Nobody 2023-10-08T08:20:07Z

I think the difficulty progression is too high, in the third phase it became too difficult. that round stone rolling, I gave up there, although perhaps with more effort I would pass, it was very difficult. That bird flying low, the lava is really fast. I think the difficulty should be worked on better.

AnathemA by 3mpty 2023-10-09T01:04:53Z

Damn, this game is so good. I saw a post from someone else recommending it among others, truly a game dev masterpiece on simplicity. With this game here you can teach a lesson on how to be simple and make myth with a small scope. This game taught me so much without having to say anything, without thousands of texts to read, etc., everything was quick and direct. Good graphics, good sounds too, totally on theme. My only criticism is that the difficulty seems very difficult at the beginning. The difficulty progression could be slower, I would like to last longer, but it is really difficult. It's a hardcore game, but it's very good. I'm learning a lot in this jam, about how to be simple because I always broaden the scope, but I think I'm starting to understand it. It will be?

(Un)limited Space by MateusGauto 2023-10-11T05:55:22Z

Damn, I thought I wouldn't make it. I clicked on everything and thought it was a buggy game when the wires wouldn't connect, but wait... lol. I liked the art, I reached the end and I was proud. But I would like a better ending consistent with the art of the game. Anyway, I had a lot of fun here

Subletting With Drac by ThaPastafarian 2023-10-17T03:50:55Z

It looks like the elements were drawn by hand, which is really cool. I'm so terrible here, I couldn't even do it in the first phase, even after trying a lot. Maybe very difficult at the first level

I was very impressed, very good mechanics and well done difficulty progression. It gets harder very slowly. The graphics are really good. Congratulations to the team. I read your comment about not having the audio guy, I saw that there was audio but I understood, a very powerful and diverse audio is very strong and it is needed. This game deserves more attention

Limited Larry and the Lost Intern by Achiru 2023-10-09T06:10:09Z

At this point, after dozens of plays and feedbacks followed at a hard pace, the visuals look good, but I don't have the patience to go through very long dialogues. I clicked a lot but the dialogs never finished. Well, I guess it's a dialogue game. I don't know where I would fit the topic. I thought the graph was AI, then I read it and saw that it was. Well executed art management in AI.

Behind The Darkness by Squeele 2023-10-06T00:22:06Z

Very good atmosphere. I love climate randomness, I really do. Even more so when it gets dark and it rains, very good, good thunderstorms. The sound is really good. I think he used the theme well, the space is really tight and the thorns cause permanent discomfort, it's well done. My only criticism is that the game over is very sudden, as already mentioned here. It's really not possible to understand exactly what is happening to death. I also found it a little too dark and the path a bit like a maze. To get around this, there could be more things to interact with. But within the jam time it's really quite an achievement. I really liked :black_circle:

Boxed In by voxatrophia 2023-10-11T00:37:14Z

I read the comments and I'm going to be a bit against it, because I thought it was a bit anti-tetris. Firstly because it is too slow, after moving the first piece slowly until the end which is too long, I no longer wanted to move the second piece, imagine moving dozens of pieces in just the first level? The graphic is cool, but I don't think it was a good use of the theme because the space is very large vertically. If it were a tetris in a smaller space, I would be closer. But maybe I didn't understand the essence of the thing

The Great Ghostly Candy Heist by epb9000 2023-10-18T16:48:36Z

Some games require a little more time to be tested, others are very fast, which is the case with this one, and even mine, which only takes about 40 seconds (according to some). In this case, I liked the character sprites and such, but the number of projectiles coming towards the character makes it impossible to dodge. It's death at the end of the journey. So I think this should be better balanced.

Blade Jumper by DeadByDeath 2023-10-09T19:53:23Z

I think there are serious level design problems that ruin the experience. I don't know, a very simple platform that I think is far from the tight space theme. The music is cool, but a good entry for the short time, but maybe if it was shorter and better worked...

Minecart Madness by jrf 2023-10-17T05:28:57Z

Turn it ! by Kaimon 2023-10-12T05:31:41Z

I thought the mechanics were fantastic. I didn't understand where the theme was, but I had fun. I find the camera too jerky when I climb. The reset button in the left corner bothered me, I accidentally clicked it twice, the second time I gave up because of it. But I went through some stages, it would be nice to have an accountant so I know which stage I reached. / Yes, aseprite is very good, isn't it, I use it sometimes, although hand-drawn graphics in my case always predominate.

Gridlock: A Tiny RTS by Hare Software 2023-10-17T23:33:14Z

I really liked this rts example. I went to the end and finished, of course. I love rts. I wonder how difficult it must be to program an RTS and I've never considered it, even though I really like it. But examples like the game that is in second place in terms of points received, is also a type of tower defense that you have to build and manage things. So you've made a sort of rts here, although I can't really build anywhere and don't know where the enemy hordes are coming from. Still, it's cool. I found it very balanced and easy in the end. You did a great job. Maybe in the future I'll take a chance on this, but for now I'll keep watching. Great job.

Flicker of Lumina by Nash 2023-10-04T06:55:03Z

That really was brilliant. I read the other comments to make sure they really thought it was as good as I did, and yes, it's a good myth. This is a lesson in how simple and at the same time complex and innovative a game can be. So on topic. It was a relief to finally find a fully rated game within the theme. A very tight space indeed. Very fun. I gave the theme full marks. It just wasn't more fun than 3 because the difficulty could be more balanced, it gets very difficult very quickly, but the main thing: after choosing a card, I end up dying because I can't remember where the enemies that stopped were. are below the letter. The graph is nice, but I can't give it a very high rating in this regard. But really it was brilliant, really great work. The best I've tested so far.

Whack-a-Soul by JavaSaurus 2023-10-12T05:01:28Z

Troglo by Ismael Rodriguez 2023-10-17T21:53:21Z

Really really fun, so much so that I couldn't stop until I finished. I think this is the best thing for the developer to hear, right, that your game is fun. And it's not difficult, although it's not easy. I saw that you were worried about the difficulty and you're right, the insane difficulty imbalance right at the beginning destroys any fun. There was a moment in the middle of the game when I suspected the difficulty was advancing too quickly, but it was just a passing sensation, somehow you always balanced everything. There's one thing about the graphic that I thought was really good, which is the black background. This isn't used much and it made me realize that it looks really good, the contrast with the elements was great. And the second thing is that initially you almost fooled me that it was pixel art, although there was something different there, it looked like improved pixel art. I went to your itch.io page, looked at Patreon, Steam, etc., and saw that you are very experienced, and it's no wonder the game is so balanced. It all seems very simple but anyone who knows knows, balancing these apparently simple things is not easy. So I think you simulated pixel art but as it is done in unity, you used sprites simulating pixel art and that gave me a lot of ideas as well of what can be done, although in my case I don't use graphics like that, but I could use it someday in future who knows. It was a great learning experience and great fun. And the music never got old, thank goodness. sadsa.jpg

Space Trucks by digital bacon 2023-10-19T02:53:21Z

The music is really cool and fun, it really livened up. I really liked it but after a while it gets repetitive, but I know that adding more things would take more time. I thought it was cool that the game started and the tutorial stayed there on the screen without needing to pause. I think it's cool to have games that start and teach you as the action progresses.

Shot in the Dark by GhastlyMicrowave 2023-10-17T04:53:25Z

This game is magnificent. The sounds are perfect and the graphics are very well adjusted. This is more of a lesson on how to make a very short game in a demo. I'm learning a lot in this jam. I really die after a while, but at the same time I can survive for a while, then it gets a little repetitive. But I know that if they had more time, more things would be implemented. I really liked. Totally on topic

Dwarf Looter by Matthieu Riboulot 2023-10-19T03:37:49Z

I thought the graphics were really cool and the sound was also good. Interesting mechanics, although I think it's a little unbalanced at the beginning and it's difficult to defeat the bigger enemies. I think it's a game that would require more time to be enjoyed, more calmly, perhaps dying several times. I think this game has potential, but perhaps it needs to be balanced in gameplay. The inventory is cool, but there are things that can be used to attack and eat at the same time, perhaps a little confusing. But for a jam it's so good and a lot of content for a short jam time, it's a very good entry.

[ Space ] by Whirlwind 2023-10-19T06:41:38Z

Ok, each number opens up more black spaces in a different way, but I didn't understand the relationship with the theme. I didn't understand much here actually. But it must be something.

As they said, the camera is locked to the left, it doesn't center on the player when moving forward. The sound is loud but it looks like rock, rock is cool. Like you said, it was like a test, right?

Limited Jumps by dk5000p 2023-10-21T17:52:59Z

@dk5000p Yes, I understand, I know what it's like because I couldn't even put the sound in, and I actually only did 10% of what I intended, so I only had a piece of some piece of something. Actually evaluating other games was so cool, right? It seems like I had as much fun as making a game. I realized that ludum dare is very much about community involvement, it is not an individual experience but a collective one.

Super Drillboy by jordantanner 2023-10-21T18:27:06Z

I liked the mechanics, the post jam look was really cool. I think the 3 indicators of the character's blood are too small, I kept looking on the screen until I found it, I think it needs to be made more visible, how much energy or blood is missing. I also don't understand if I can recover blood over time. The game has a lot of potential

Limited Space by RaineShadow 2023-10-18T18:09:47Z

Hellevator by SgtWeirdo 2023-10-18T18:22:56Z

No enemy takes damage from me, just keep hitting everyone who comes through the door. The graphics are cool and the music is a little boring. I don't know if it's so in keeping with the theme, although the space isn't that big. But for jam I know it's a good job. Some kind of minimal difficulty would just be nice.

Cargo Trek by Deseteral 2023-10-17T01:04:21Z

Impressive, even with the simple graphics it is very realistic and has good sounds. I missed something, because when I leave the first point and recharge at the first blue stop, the next airport is too far and there is no fuel. I didn't really understand what to do, but I know that I was the problem at that point.

KosmoPod by Hakro 2023-10-20T17:36:29Z

It didn't make much sense to me in the gameplay, although the visuals and sound are good, it wasn't that clear because sometimes I can't move forward even if there's nothing in front of me, I'm kind of going by luck without understanding what was happening.

Threshold by Diralf 2023-10-18T03:45:47Z

How interesting, I went for a very similar walk too, using a bug and also super short, cool. Like you, I didn't have all the time but I did everything I could in the time I had, without sounds either. I liked the insect and the graphically super simple scenario. Cool that you're working on a post jam version. I'm doing that too. I really liked it, very well.

Slime Infestation by Lexyvil 2023-10-20T18:46:59Z

It didn't run on my Windows 7, it gave an error

St. Valdez by IvanPavlov 2023-10-19T07:20:50Z

I liked the diversity of sounds when hitting each material, very good sounds overall. I think he exaggerated the time it took to make the hole, I would have escaped but I didn't know how to crouch, I pressed a lot of buttons including ctrl but in the end I let myself get caught because a lot of time had passed and I couldn't get into the hole, even though it was big. enough. I didn't know how to lower it, or if it was even possible.

The ECRU Experience by Dock Frankenstein 2023-10-15T23:41:32Z

I was watching the devlog and ended up here. Wow, if I hadn't seen the devlog I would never have known that it was so difficult to change engines, and I wouldn't have even imagined such a difficult engine,But about the game, I like the room, although it could be a much smaller room. I would like something happening or a feeling of claustrophobia trapped in some room. But from the devlog, I understand that it was tense

The Inflatable Delivery Service by Rolly 2023-10-20T18:53:51Z

Interesting that you managed to add something original to this mechanic that was explored a lot in this jam, which is being able to increase the platform and have a specific order. I pressed all the buttons to find out how to rotate the objects and I couldn't find it. I had to read the page looking for it and then I understood that it is the mouse wheel. I don't think this button is the most suitable, but it was an interesting jam input. Then it gets really difficult

World Weaver by JUSTCAMH 2023-10-15T06:00:20Z

Loading was a little heavy, and then it would sometimes hang for a while and then return. Very original indeed, to the point where I asked myself if I even really understood what was happening. I progressed for a while but then I wasn't sure if there was more to go, but from the photos in the post there was definitely more. Nice music and graphics. Gameplay and originality are the focus here in this game. Very on topic, very well done. After a while I found it a little repetitive, but very creative without a doubt, and of course, very well done.

Floodwater by John Gabriel 2023-10-09T22:28:07Z

Very good, although I'm not good at puzzles I got this far, but then I got stuck on a level. I really liked the puzzles. Cool music, cool graphics too. Good job

Just Another Sokoban by Harksa 2023-10-09T06:27:40Z

Without a doubt, a very good entry, great puzzles. At a certain stage when I walk everything becomes dark, I don't know if that's part of it, but I can't solve it when everything is dark. I don't know if it's a bug

Rolling Over It by DanyVk 2023-10-20T14:00:53Z

Interesting mechanics. As you already warned, it is very difficult. When I got to the part with two high shelves on the right I saw that it wasn't for me lol. I don't like very difficult games at the very hard level for hardcore players. I didn't understand the relevance to the theme, but anyway it's a good idea for a jam game and for hardcore players it's good fun I think.

Squeeze & Wiggle by YogurtTheHorse 2023-10-17T21:08:13Z

Very good pixel art graphics and ambient music. Super innovative mechanics, but extremely difficult gameplay. Although some reached the end, I really tried really hard, but there was a part that was insanely difficult, I ended up giving up. But it's very different and innovative, but I suffered here lol.

Oh no my spacebar has been cursed by an evil wizard if I press it too much I ded by myrmyxo 2023-10-18T01:51:39Z

Already in the third phase it seems too difficult and I don't know how after getting the key not to collide with the thorn. The level design seems poorly implemented although I generally liked the concept.

Oh no my spacebar has been cursed by an evil wizard if I press it too much I ded by myrmyxo 2023-10-18T02:56:57Z

@myrmyxo oh yes I'll try again, I was trying to really press the space very lightly, but it was still difficult. But I'll try again, thanks.

Gyronimo by pepnou 2023-10-12T03:48:05Z

This genre is recurrent and I'm terrible at it. But I believe it is very difficult at the beginning. Rotating the screen was cool, I like the sound and graphics. In the fourth phase I gave up trying to get the key, it seemed impossible, or I'm just not up to it. The character's weight is too high and perhaps too fast. I like heavy characters, but I think it's too much. But overall it was a good entry

Extinction Extraction by tetrapteryx 2023-10-19T08:36:09Z

This is so original and fun, it's brilliant. It's really good. Very good graphics and matching music. I wonder if you were okay, if you say you did it when you were feeling bad. It's a paradox, right? Maybe if I was doing very well I wouldn't have done so well, the world is paradoxical. Anyway, it's a shame this game is hidden from the majority, it should be among the first very easily. But evaluating many games is really painful, it's not an easy task and it takes a lot of time, so there's that. But people should really watch this game. I hope you see.

Limitris by zubspace 2023-10-20T17:07:19Z

There is an innovation here, the mechanics are different, it mixes some genres. I worried about the ghosts but they disappear over time, good. I ended up dying at some point, but I found it interesting.

Piper by Kjip 2023-10-11T05:13:01Z

I reached the end, it's one of the few puzzles that is really easy, but I agreed with the difficulty progression. I'm sure it would be more difficult if I had more time for more levels. I know. This is very much like Steam, I could see this game there lol. I thought it was brilliant. In so little time and you have something very solid here.

V-SHRINK by Zliebowitz 2023-10-18T04:01:11Z

The game cover and page image misled me or at least gave me the wrong view of what to expect because the game is completely different from the page image.

If I Fits, I Sits! by cheesepencil 2023-10-09T22:15:28Z

Very innovative and fits perfectly with the theme. I got really confused with the arrows. I never knew which side to choose and it was always the wrong one.

Packing by Gossian 2023-10-19T06:34:08Z

Very original graphics and striking sound. It's a shame that you can only walk here and there, grab your suitcase and leave, but I understood the essence of the thing. It really causes apprehension. I would just like to do more things in this setting, which is so beautiful, but it's more of an experience than a game. A good experience.

Deformable by Asain 2023-10-16T20:13:25Z

Yes, very simple, but functional, I finished the second level. As short as mine lol. Only two levels too. I found the second level very interesting, although the camera was very far away

Clockwork Tower by chompdev 2023-10-04T20:48:28Z

I couldn't find the solution, but it's well on topic. It's well-rounded sonically and graphically. I just wish I knew better what to do.

Led Space by JoaoG 2023-10-09T19:23:02Z

Apart from what they said, I think the presentation was too long, so much so that I thought it was already the game. And when the game started, just click and nothing else. Yes there is a score and you can go for a moment, but not long. But I think it's appropriate for the theme, it would just need a little more effort later.

Void Hunter by GreenPig 2023-10-04T05:42:16Z

Insanely chaotic music lol. It took me a long time to figure out how to enter the planets lol. I almost gave up. The graphics are simple, but the game is complex for just 3 days, good job. I didn't see where the game would fit into the theme, on the contrary, it is the exact location of the theme, a vast expanse of space. Still, I found it fun. The attack is a little confusing, but crazy fun, perhaps more due to the crazy atmosphere of the song.

Give Me Money by kairuma 2023-10-20T15:00:08Z

This is the typical type of addictive game. I stayed here longer than I planned. After more than half an hour I decided to leave, but I still wasn't sick. It's not easy to make a fun game like this, the graphics are very cool and the sounds are appropriate. A strong entry that would easily be among the first if I had evaluated more games, because this game deserved more attention, it is a very good game. Brilliant, totally on topic. One observation is that it took me a while to find the button in the corner to access the menu with the upgrade options. This button should be more striking somehow, it's too small.

The Rock by Fupi 2023-10-06T19:28:58Z

As a non-speaker of the language I can read something, so reading is not good for me, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to enjoy the game well. In this case, from what I saw, just read it. I liked sketch art, I like drawn art. But I just wanted to play, walk around the island, and not just read. Visual novels are complicated for me. But I didn't understand the topic either, maybe a small island, I don't know, I didn't see where space would be limited here. But it seems like you did a good job with the narratives from the comments I read.

Though I Walk by AdamCYounis 2023-10-08T05:59:13Z

Impressive in the compo category.

COSMOSTRIDE by Catusfelony 2023-10-12T03:57:48Z

The idea of a game like this is always good, but in this case I think it is poorly optimized because it was too slow here, I almost couldn't play, it was very stuck. Maybe the background image is huge, I don't know. I think the mechanics didn't work that well either, it's difficult to hit and dodge. A good example of a game like this are some stages in the space of Shadows of the Empire on N64...

Booze & Row by Gonzo13 2023-10-14T04:48:30Z

Very interesting graphics. The sound was really missed. Even though the idea was very good, there was not enough time to implement a really fun gameplay, but it is the start of something concrete

Parking Garage Rally by walaber 2023-10-08T04:25:50Z

Of course, a great entry for such a short time. Cool graphics for the type of game, but looking at the photos I thought it would be more fun to drive around, but of course, the theme is limited space, so... good job

Last God's Bidding by Daxic 2023-10-20T14:32:41Z

The graphics are good, although low poly, which is not my personal taste, but I think it is well accepted nowadays, it seems that most people like it. The visuals are well executed and the sounds are not annoying. I think the fun factor is low, something is missing. I kept moving the planet, adding one thing there and another here, managing the 3 pillars so as not to break them, but I didn't see much incentive to continue playing for a long time. I don't know what could be added to make it fun. Overall I found it a little repetitive, although it is an excellent jam work and very well executed. I think it's just my personal taste

Clockwork Express by mira 2023-10-04T20:26:38Z

The graphics and sound are very good. I'm terrible and I only managed to get to the second phase. With more effort I could go further. The idea is great and fits perfectly with the theme. Perhaps the highest rating I've given so far.

Lost Mage by Eliyud 2023-10-04T04:28:16Z

Interesting view, the space is really limited, but I believe it is due to the number of objects blocking the path, such as trash on the floor. Space is not really limited by space. Good graphic result for a short time. Good graphic atmosphere. The distant camera reduces immersion and the subject matter, as the space is not limited enough. I think it could be a more limited space. It's not fun after 20 seconds. But it's an interesting experience.

Calves of the Braves by Furano 2023-10-14T05:11:12Z

Wow, very well done, both graphically and soundly, and fun. In the long run, it gets boring not having anything new, but of course that's just because of the short time of the jam. Solid mechanics. We have something here

D:\Drive by Anson Rutherford 2023-10-19T08:08:25Z

It got a little stuck here in html5, but then it works. The music is kind of annoying because it's so repetitive. A good jam game entry, simple but not that fast. It's not very fun

One Escape From Franky's by AploveStudio 2023-10-11T05:20:56Z

Man, I really didn't like this cheap scare, I didn't even create an atmosphere, it's like one of those videos where a horrible face appears with a shrill sound, that's like an appeal. I'm playing in the early hours of the morning and I already had a scare like that 20 years ago that traumatized me to this day in certain ways, so I didn't think it was funny. I think this is really appealing game design. I have trauma with these faces that explode with this shrill scream. What a bad experience. And I like horror games and everything, but that sounded bad

Less Space by Vyndilis 2023-10-09T04:54:04Z

I liked it, simple and direct, within the theme, cool sound. A quick game

Super Low Memory Bot by LaserPanzerWal 2023-10-09T21:30:30Z

I'm terrible at puzzles, but the difficulty increased very quickly, I gave up on the third level lol. I know I could try, but it was already too difficult. You have to go more progressively with the difficulty

Limi### Space (2 players) by VerttiXPertti 2023-10-08T04:13:58Z

It's great to see something new and innovative, this is very different. Movie graphics, but moving a light, this is very crazy, I almost gave up at the beginning thinking I wasn't understanding, I played alone, but after a while I started to understand, I wanted to find some logic, but it's all very crazy. Good sound atmosphere, I don't know what it's really about, but I got into the mood. As for the theme, I don't know if the space was limited, maybe because I couldn't leave the scene, I don't know. But it is innovative. It inspired me to come up with ideas of what could be done in games with photography.

RAMpage by Blue Pin Studio 2023-10-08T04:43:35Z

I played, stacked the shooters and they shot the targets and passed the level. I think I was playing the tutorial, I don't know. I didn't see fun or anything, but I know it was me, because I saw in the comments that the people above liked it and that it was a challenge and such. I think I missed something. The visuals and sounds fit well and the theme in this case seems to be the squares to move the shooters. I didn't enjoy playing the game, but it was personal.

Limit at Infinity by APG 2023-10-17T02:10:48Z

I read the comments looking for explanations and saw that it wasn't just me who was lost. I think the under-the-sea theme is cool and the game could be cool, it looks simple, but from what I've seen it's completely complicated to play to know what to do. I couldn't figure it out.

Inside Out by Matootsy 2023-10-09T22:02:08Z

Cute graphics, but the constant text is annoying. Especially when I die and it will repeat all the text again and I have to click on all the arrows. This made me give up. It also got difficult in the second phase, very difficult. There was no progression of difficulty, it became too difficult on the second level

Slime Jumper by strailks 2023-10-13T03:00:13Z

I reached stage 15. At first I found it strange but then I got used to the mechanics. I liked the game, I had fun, but I couldn't solve phase 15.

FROUST! by Kupnu4 2023-10-20T15:31:28Z

This was one of the few games that I gave full marks on everything, everything was perfect. One of the best examples of a super successful jam game. Small scope, great graphics and sound too, and the hardest thing to do: super fun. It's a shame to stop playing, my daughter will really like this game. Imagine what could be added here in a post jam? The possibilities are endless. Addictive game.

Unlimited space by akitl 2023-10-04T21:01:07Z

I had fun here. I didn't think I would have fun, but doing the missions and carrying the loads was really cool. They are so sensitive lol, very realistic in that. But for me it's not within the theme because I thought it was a very large and free space. I gave it high marks for fun and sound. Overall it was pretty cool, good work. Ah, it's a little heavy, perhaps better optimized would be ideal.

Skypiercer by Caladrius 2023-10-09T19:25:58Z

It's nice to have explained that it's a game with a lot of dialogue and that it's best to skip it if you're looking for something shorter. There really are a lot of games to test, I don't think it's a good idea to jam games like this, but it's an option. Thanks for letting me know

Super ball smashers! by airwaffle 2023-10-17T05:34:46Z

Differentiated original graphics. A really different idea. Personally, I didn't find it that fun, but it's very functional for a jam, a good job

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-03T03:03:01Z

I really suspected that it might be difficult in the second phase. I'll balance it out. Yes, I will make more levels, add sound, etc soon. Thanks for testing

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-04T04:57:27Z

( @themixedmaster ) - I'm really glad you liked the concept. I'm tempted to believe that small rooms would be possible even with more levels. I end up getting lost in large levels when doing the levels, this way I would be more successful in finishing a greater number of levels, I believe, despite knowing that it would be challenging to innovate in many rooms despite the reduced space. I thought it would fit the theme because of the limited space, but maybe the space isn't as limited as I thought. Energy always starts at maximum, but always uses up when it flies. But it will require some type of extra energy or mechanism that allows it to go further by flying less or more energy, something to think about. Thanks for testing.

( @greenpig ) - Yes yes, how I wish I had worked on the art and sound effects, because that is what will set the tone for this game. I always fail at jams because I start with the chart, but here I left it until the end and there was no time. So this graphic is textures made on the spot in the engine itself, except for the character and some details. I also have a climate randomization system ready like fog, etc., but I didn't have time to implement it. I'll be happy to work on it and post it when the jam is over. Thanks for the feedback.

( @inventivum-games ) There really wasn't time to add any buttons, any menus or anything, just updating the page lol. I really need to add something that makes it visually clear that you should enter the right tunnel. Maybe a blinking light inside, something. Thanks for the feedback.

( @maryk ) I'm really happy that you liked the idea and concept. I discovered that limited games like this are fun to make. I end up getting lost in long stages. Yes, in general from the feedback it is already very difficult in the second phase. Maybe not that difficult, but still difficult. You need to go slower in the progression of difficulty. Thanks for the feedback.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-04T17:01:03Z

( @philocode ) , You are sure. The first two levels are introductory, but there wasn't time to really do the others lol. The first level would just be to introduce the mechanics and flight, and the second learn about the power wires and how much you have to manage that. But the cool thing about game jams is that, the feedback. Because some found the second phase very difficult, while you found it easy. So a middle ground would be needed in the second phase. I intend to continue with this project.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-05T01:13:09Z

( @kanity ) Yes, it's true, I draw almost everything on the page with pencil or pen and scan it to work as graphics. I also draft a lot, the sheet of paper is so quick lol. I didn't think of the fly being mechanical, but rather having spent energy. But I found your observation interesting, who knows it is an experiment mixing biological and mechanical. For some more casual and less hardcore players, it seems like the second level was a lot of work, so I would still move it just a little bit. Yes, due to this general positive feedback, I will create other levels. I intend to have a well-crafted graphic and very well-matched sounds. I'm already doing this, but I can't post it until after the jam. Thanks for the feedback

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-05T05:42:06Z

(@henrik-ganard) Yes, I needed to cause some difficulty to get to the other side. Energy being drained was an option. Yes, I'm getting excited by the feedback and really inspiring myself to take more levels. Initially I thought of something much more realistic, with the same proportion of small but realistic space. And I thought the sounds were very atmospheric and also realistic. But there wasn't time.

(@benisu),Man, it's cool that you could watch the video, that's fascinating.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-05T17:07:07Z

(@ttkayttis) Yeah, I'm working on it so I can post an update after the jam.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-05T22:37:07Z

( @babaorhum ) About the bug being disgusting, yes, that's what I've been doing. whenever I try to do something cute or colorful and such I fail and suffer. Even my most childish characters are still crazy. Lots of horror movies when I was a kid...

(@skel3ton@skel3ton) You are very right about this, the anergy should start full. That was stupid lol, but I didn't even realize it. It really is something urgent to fix. Thanks for testing.

(@viktorthegreat) your review couldn't be more right on everything and I'm really going to take everything you said into consideration because it's so right. The graphic is actually exactly what you said, a dirty dystopian thing. The graphic was supposed to be hand-drawn but much more realistic. I didn't have time to implement what I'm best at, which is the graph. But whenever I started with the graph I ended up not being able to deliver it because the programming took a lot of time, since I'm not a programmer and I struggle at this point. The energy is really slow to recharge, it needs to start full, and the insect needs to move faster. As for the energy, you're right, it's better for it to stay lit somehow, I just wanted it to randomly have energy spikes, that would make it more realistic, but it needs to always be lit somehow and have more lit spikes, I think that would be it. I'm really happy that I think the visual aesthetic is unique, because that's always my main goal in a game, the visual aesthetic. And of course, we need gameplay. You helped me a lot here, thank you very much.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-06T07:48:22Z

( @blue-pin-studio ) Ah yes, now I understand what they said before about the black screen lol. It's actually the end of the game, it ends in phase 2. There wasn't time after the end to add to close the browser. I must fix this these days. Interesting about how easy it was, others didn't find it so easy. It's good to know it's not that difficult. But there is a lack of balance. Lots of tests...

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-07T17:17:02Z

Player-2.gif ( @ranzor ) Yes, this time I wanted to be very simple, just directional arrows. As for no challenge, the two introductory phases are really just to introduce, but some users didn't find it so easy, that's interesting, the diversity of feelings. I myself have trouble getting past those wires and I know I need to make it a little easier. But I'm not a hardcore gamer, so you must be very hardcore. In this case it should be pretty easy. But I must balance it better so that it becomes a little easier at the beginning for players like me, and increase the difficulty progressively until it becomes a real challenge for more experienced players. Thanks for testing.

(@walaber) Thanks for testing.

( @ayxs ) I really don't understand about not being able to fly at the end of the stage, I would like to understand. You can fly at any time. Yes, the energy not starting full is a serious error that needs to be fixed. Yes, it's always good to comment, I also leave a comment on everyone I play, even if I'm too tired to write lol. I believe it could become a fun little game if worked properly. Thanks for testing.

( @javid-ladhani ) Yeah, there's no third level lol. I just didn't have time to close the browser after a sentence of thanks and the end. Thanks for testing.

(@jamesw) Yes, I had thought of 15 or 20 levels. I wouldn't try more than 20, due to the fact that I plan to add very good graphics and very realistic sounds as well. My idea is to always have this square room, but changing the traps and various elements in the new rooms, so that they appear to be different rooms, although they are the same. This will help me with the scope so it doesn't get too big. I have difficulty with small scopes, I tend to enlarge things lol. Thanks for testing.

( @verttixpertti@verttixpertti) ) Thanks for wanting more levels. Yes, I really wanted her to fall quickly. I worked to make it actually fall, trying to simulate the realistic weight of an insect that size. I didn't want it to fall like a butterfly. Even a little bird falls very quickly. But this is an ok game. I wanted it to fall down suddenly when the power went out because it's heavy. So this will have to be taken into consideration. I can get around this by increasing the energy time, because this is really very small and runs out very quickly, making it annoying. Thanks for testing.

(@local-minimum@local-minimum) You're definitely missing something, based on all the previous comments. Some even found it too easy, but in general, in the second level you have to make some effort. So I don't know what could have happened to you lol. There is no need to restart the level, if you die you already start there, and as in the first phase there is no way for you to die, you will always be there until you pass. But there really wasn't time to put in reboot features. It's actually a very basic prototype. Thanks for testing.

( @jk5000@jk5000) ) If you tell me it's fun at this very basic stage where there's practically nothing, you've already said it all and I'm really interested in adding more levels and straightening everything out. The plan would be to have 15 or 20 stages, very good hand-drawn graphics and great sound variety. I also intend to have a lot of effects like fog, sparks and all kinds of visual appeal to make a futuristic setting really immersive. I always like to play with these climate randomness and effects, so I have a lot of these systems ready, I just didn't have time to add them. The easiest of them, which is a fog on the ground, is so quick to add and I already have it ready, that it was sad I didn't have time. It could have been much better, but yes, I think everyone is going through the same issue lol, that we don't have time to add everything we want. But there's really a lot missing here lol. Thanks for testing. Player-2.gif

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-08T00:12:30Z

(@local-minimum) you have to hold the up arrow for the character to start flying. Flying you can enter the passage on the left. I just tested it right now just to make sure lol. The game is already too short and almost everything is missing, if at least it couldn't even get past the first phase it would be too much lol. You don't even need to get down and step on the ground, you can fly straight from one tube to the other. Thanks for your time.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-08T06:17:00Z

(@jason-shapiro) man, your observation is fantastic, you are absolutely right. Couldn't be more right. That's the magic of ludum dare, feedback helps a lot. I also really feel uncomfortable waiting for the energy to come through when I'm on the ground. So it's obvious that she should see faster when she's on the ground. This is something I can fix in this version of the jam because it's like a bug, just changing something in the code. So I'll fix it. Thank you very much, this will balance things out a lot. / In fact, you're so right that I just fixed it right now, now energy recovers faster on the ground than in the air, as it should be. Thank you very much for the valuable tip.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-08T06:18:08Z

(@daniel-g) I'm glad you liked it.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-08T07:22:15Z

( @okshirl ) you can actually fly straight from one tunnel to another in the first level, I did that and others did too, although I think you have to release the button for milliseconds. I just use the up arrow instead of space, I think space is not a better button, although I also gave this option, in addition to W and up arrow. / Yes reboot. I guess I thought that since there were only two phases, it wouldn't be necessary, since in the first one there's no way to die, and in the second one, if you die, you automatically start in the tunnel. But yes, after the jam ends I will add more phases and then you will have the ability to reset, pause, etc.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-08T08:02:14Z

@nanamaki@nanamaki yes this version is very easy lol. Although I myself don't think the second level is so simple that I occasionally fall into the live wire lol.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-08T17:30:50Z

@local-minimum I was going to record a gif here but I don't think it's necessary. I just tested it and it seems like it's only happening there. I'm using Delta Time so it should be the same on all computers at all frame rates. In the air, you must release your energy for a few moments so that you can fly straight to the other side. But the worst thing is that you're on the ground next to the tube and you can't climb high enough to get into it, it's really strange. Maybe something is really going on, but since no one else has complained about this, I don't know if it's isolated. By how much I don't know.

@hunttis@hunttis, I was really happy to get something simple and functional. I definitely need more levels, thanks for testing

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-08T23:59:38Z

( @bluedandelion ) Thanks for testing, yes it's a shame it only has two phases, I couldn't imagine less than 5 at least, but unfortunately it was that or nothing lol. In fact, I had given it up as lost and I was so frustrated because I was always fighting at the jams, but then miraculously I opened a page and saw that there were still a few minutes left, because there's an hour of additions, and I didn't know. Look how much feedback I would have missed. To think that the graphics are 10% of what I could actually do. Even the character is just a hand drawn sketch and colored in photoshop, nothing more. I wanted a really realistic hand-drawn graphic, but I couldn't implement it in time. I'm immensely happy that this same simple graphic managed to convey the type of look that I really imagine for this game.

( @justking144 ) In fact, another player warned the same thing, that the fence should always be on, and you even went further, saying that it could actually be turned off. You guys are right. This is even the kind of thing that I can fix in the jam, it's like a bug like others that have already fixed thanks to the feedback, which were annoying things. So I'm going to leave it on permanently for the first time. / While you're at it, I just complained just now, and it's permanently lit. The challenge was not to make the noise of the electricity annoying, I added randomness every few seconds and also varied the sound of the electricity. But I still find the effect of electricity always lit exaggerated, so after a jam I will have a more realistic one. I want something more discreet, but that makes it clear that it is deadly, and that from time to time ignites these energies. But for now I'll leave it straight as it is. Thanks.

(@real-flamingicecubegames) Yes very short. But because of all the positive feedback about how cool it would be to have more levels, I'm going to make them. Not only the levels, but it has the kind of atmosphere that I really wanted: good graphics, futuristic visual effects like machine terminals lighting up, smoke, etc., realistic sounds, animation of the character walking, etc.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-09T17:30:22Z

@fireslash @2thegamechanger @gamedevjeroen Yes, I learned a lot here, I had a lot in mind, but I'm already working on the bigger version of the game, keeping this same scope, this same room with the insect. The idea is to keep the space tight and make it really challenging, but without being too difficult, I don't want to make a hardcore game, nor a cute game. I want a realistic platform game that is graphically differentiated and has varied sounds. Something simple, direct and even somewhat short. No more than 20 or 15 phases.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-09T19:55:57Z

@hagamosvideojuegos you're completely right and the main level beyond these two introductory ones, where we would actually have something, just didn't happen lol. So, we only have one concept to be expanded upon after the jam. Thanks for testing.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-10T01:48:00Z

@commanderstitch @local-minimum I'm suspicious of a bug related to frame rate in isolated cases, but I don't know how because I used delta time which gives the same frame rate in all cases. So I'm still trying to understand why this happened again, so I'm going to look into it now, since it happened more than once then. Thanks.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-10T23:48:26Z

@juicybrucey yes it really is very short, like just a sample of what it will be. Thanks for testing. I'm working on the next phases, new graphics, sound, effects, and everything.

@lachlan-james thanks for testing. From the gif that @local-minimum posted, it really helped me a lot, because I could see that probably due to the slowness at which the wing is moving, it's a frame rate problem, so I'm working on it right now and as soon as I post it fixed, I'll get it fixed. Let us know and ask again for part of your time to check if it's ok this time. Thank you very much. I really can't help but resolve this issue quickly.

@smiley405 I'm glad you liked the concept, look and energy meter. Yes, the plan was to have more levels, sounds and graphics. I'm working on it. thanks for testing

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-11T04:04:49Z

@cardboardmoon You're right about the fly appearing hidden at first, I'll use your suggestion and improve it, make it stand out. I had thought about the camera starting focused on the tube and only when the insect comes out will the camera move away, but I'm not sure yet. Thank you for testing and enjoying the art.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-11T07:20:04Z

@local-minimum first of all, thank you for posting a gif, it helped me a lot to understand that it was almost certainly a frame rate problem. So I straightened it out and ran tests. I have already uploaded the corrected version and I would like to ask you who reported this bug to please test it again, it would help me immensely, and tell me if it is ok now, if it is possible to fly correctly to complete the level. @commanderstitch @lachlan-james

If you tell me it's fixed, I'll update it at the beginning with this bug fix. Thank you very much in advance.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-11T13:54:42Z

@senso@senso only goes up to level 2, my initial intention was at least 5 levels for the jam, but I ended up staying on the two introductory ones. It was that or nothing lol. I appreciate that you and others liked this insect that is still in such a raw design phase, so I can encourage myself to do even better, because the graphic would really be much better if there was time, with animations of walking moving legs, etc. ., and sounds too. I believe that even before the jam ends I will be able to post a post-jam version for you to see. Thanks for testing

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-11T21:56:00Z

@local-minimum thanks for testing again, good to know it's working. Very relieved, it was a fatal bug. Maybe I can increase the energy a little, but maybe not because I really want the bug to not be able to fly straight every time, I want it to be forced to touch down and recharge. The theme will actually be better explored in the other phases, because the rooms will be increasingly tighter.

@woona I'm glad you liked the character. I didn't even have time to encourage him by walking. I really only started on the last day, but to my surprise something came out. I will continue the game.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-13T22:50:01Z

@digitaldude555 yes, I consider the insect graphic to be provisional, like everything else. I didn't have time to turn the sketches into graphics like I wanted. The drawings themselves are drafts. The insect is too big to have little space, I planned little space and even less space depending on the theme, and I intend to maintain it. The idea I'm planning is that each room will have traps and you should just try to get through. I want something very simple, but very well done graphically and sonically, but with hand-drawn graphics. When I have some phases I will post them here.

@milq comments like this encourage me even more to finish this project. If everything goes as I hope, you will play it completely, or at least try out more levels, but with the graphics, sounds and everything in an improved version.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-15T04:41:58Z

Yes, very short indeed, if someone thinks they sent a short game then they should come here lol. I think you gave me an idea for a post lol. I am very motivated by these comments to really continue with this game, which will be posted here for those of you who asked for it. Thanks for playing.

@najjaman @geckoo1337 Thanks for testing

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-15T22:40:50Z

@constance I really hadn't realized that the energy doesn't recover if the fly button is pressed, even when it's on the ground. You are absolutely right, and you helped me a lot with that observation. I really need to fix this urgently. Your comment overall helps me a lot, because all these comments make my idea of finishing this make sense. My idea is a much better graphic than this, even the insect is a sketch drawing and could be better, the animated legs walking etc. I didn't have time to draw the scenery, so I turned to transform the sketch into something, I used geometric shapes from the construct itself and placed any sprite I made on the spot that was repeated on the walls. Even the power cables are simple shapes drawn on the tool itself, all very rough if seen up close, but following the sketch you may have seen on the page, a handmade drawing, it looks better than it really is. So, it could have been better graphically and sonically. My plan is for 15 to 20 phases, always in the same size, adding more traps, implementing the final hand-drawn graphic, more worked insect with animations walking, crouching, preparing to fly, etc. No savings when it comes to animation and drawn graphics. Everything can be designed and edited and worked on. Lots of smoke, sounds of mechanical elements, lights, a lively scene of sounds and graphics. Nothing amazing, but better than what's out there. I thought of a timer running with some time for the insect to resolve the trap and get through, otherwise it might explode or something would happen with certain death. The voltage level must always be high. But I thought that whenever the insect is in the tube at the beginning of each level it is free to think and look at part of the level, I intend to add a camera zoom to the tube so that it is centered on the tube and not on the level, so that see only part of the room. When leaving the tube, the door will close and you will not be able to enter again. At that moment the timer will start and the traps will turn on, and the door on the right tube will open. You need to get to the right tube avoiding the traps. All kinds of sounds like doors closing, traps, things happening, very rich sonically. That's what I intend. Also some blood but not red, maybe black blood in death or something like that, torn apart, varied deaths with varied animations, no economy. As soon as I update I will post it here. And beyond that, think of more things for these 15 or 20 phases that keep things simple and interesting. Ideas and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for testing.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-16T21:33:46Z

@fiordarancio yes the audio would make a lot of difference for sure. I believe I will post a better version by the end of the jam, at some point in these 4 days, but I'm torn between updating the game or continuing to evaluate more games. It's difficult to do both. But yes, I will post the update here with more levels, graphics and sound, thanks for testing

@recher as for metroidvania it would be great, but I need to get away from that because I would really easily get lost in the scope. I really need to finish an entire game so I think this one looks great for that, because it's simple and the scope is small, although I plan on having lots of sound effects and hand-drawn graphics that cost time and effort, but definitely less than a metroidvania . I will continue the work, thanks for testing

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-17T19:35:59Z

@kazuma thanks for testing. @empyreans Yes I will update it asap, thanks for testing

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-18T02:53:02Z

@myrmyxo Yes, I will do it as soon as possible. Yes, I draw on paper, I love drawing on paper, and then I scan it and edit it in Photoshop. It's very interesting that many liked it and I was happy because this was a draft that I hoped to improve, like animating the legs walking, that sort of thing. / It's not actually a fly, it's a big and heavy insect, that's why it falls like a stone, because it must weigh many kilos. It's like a big fat dog, it's really fat. It's a disgusting ball of meat with wings. I think it's the kind of thing that shouldn't be out there. I must add human elements to the scene so that the size of the insect is clear and it is not confused with a fly. I kept thinking that it is some kind of biological experiment that is in a testing mechanism, a large complex set of interspersed rooms that form a large mechanism, a complex that is a place for biological technological experiments. They do cloning and other things that nobody knows about, experiments, that kind of thing. They create things there, and then test them, they do many types of tests. The place is called Mechanizyn. They say some people have died there...

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-18T13:52:28Z

@neowedge I definitely need to put some backstory on some of what it's about, but I avoided plot on the main page because no one at this point is going to read it anyway. I avoided long texts. But in the huge post above I explain a little that it's not a fly lol. It's a bug big enough like a big dog and heavy, so it drops like a stone. It must weigh more than 80 kilos. It's a biological experiment and it's in a futuristic mechanical testing chamber. But one thing is true: I made a publicity gif that is very small and shows the insect moving back and forth, and because it's so small it's like a fly... I have already updated the text at the top of the page.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-19T06:11:51Z

@bloodbane thaks for play @matootsy Indeed, although some have said that even the second phase is very easy, it should be for hardcore players. Most have already found the second level more difficult. Based on this, I'm going to balance the second level just a little by making the electrocuted wire a little more to the right, there will be more space to fly into the tube, this should help, but not much, a subtle change. I'm preparing an update, if possible still in this jam. Thanks for testing.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-19T20:41:55Z

@digital-bacon I really wanted to limit the energy a lot, but eventually in later levels I'll have to compensate for this in some way with platforms and other things, but I've probably found a balanced energy level, there's really no room for myth mistakes, it's kind of on the line. . I think about making it a little easier, but instead of moving the energy, moving the trap a little so that there's more space, I'm afraid to move the energy because it seems right on point. Some people cross from one side to the other without even touching the ground, and they said it's easy, while others found it difficult, so I can balance very little, it seems right. But I'm going to tweak the trap a little, it will be a little easier, the second phase could actually be a little easier.

@sinclairstrange Unfortunately, there are only these two levels for now, I really intend to update as soon as possible. I'm glad you liked the art style. When the jam is over I'll go back to your game more calmly too, I read about 100 levels, it's a very good game, one of those that you'll want to come back to after the jam. So I'm happy with your comment.

@pen-island-games You're completely right, there's no challenge here for now, it was just a glimpse of something that I tried hard to not miss the jam this time. But who knew, it helped me have a piece of something that can be worked on. I really want a very tense atmosphere here. Thanks for testing.

Mechanizyn by Lincolnsalles 2023-10-20T18:39:37Z

@saramartins It's true, the topic was just the fact that the rooms were small and would get even smaller with the traps that would come next. Yes, that's right, the look really is more like doom or duke nuken, I made a sketch in the post on the main page with the new sketch and it's a drawing I believe with that vibe. I don't know if you saw it. It's really going to be uncomfortable and disgusting, that's not even 10% of the discomfort I want to make.

Pallet Panic by Henrik Ganard 2023-10-05T06:04:16Z

Absolutely brilliant. Some said that when the purple truck leaves there is nothing to do, but yes, you can pick up the purple boxes and leave them near the truck so that when it arrives the work will be faster. It just took me a while to figure out that the second truck is for me to pick up the boxes inside. Purple is the opposite. This was not so intuitive, but in a later version you can indicate this more clearly. I had a lot of fun, the graphic is simple and functional, beat sounds with sound variations, that's good. I think there was a song missing, I didn't notice if it was there, it's not missing here, but it would help to have a higher score in the audio. The idea is perfect for the theme, little space to really work. I think you should really continue this, the possibilities are endless. There may be people walking, you can't run over people. Lines of trucks forming because you're taking your time. Your boss is on the phone yelling at you because you're so incompetent. It would be a huge tension lol. I hope you continue. Hitting the wall could also ruin your forklift, not to mention damage the load. The company could be fined.... I'm traveling here lol. I really liked.

Cosmic Frontiers by Anshul K 2023-10-04T04:37:34Z

I didn't understand the graphic of a ship at the bottom. The character is apparently above her, but when I thought he was going to fall, no, the character can walk sideways in space. The graph is also very simple. Some enemies appear in the middle of the screen very close. Apart from these details, I played for a while and scored some points. I recognize the effort behind each entry, so we are here evaluating and being evaluated just to improve even more. I think the graphics and sounds lacked a little more polish. The mechanics are acceptable. I didn't see where the vastness of space would fit into the theme. The game's cover also doesn't really match the game, because it suggests that you will control that ship on the cover...

Tiny Shelter by rasboy 2023-10-17T05:57:31Z

Skyway 2 Heaven by raddishradish 2023-10-16T20:21:52Z

I started out excited because the sound of the sheep barking is great and the sheep really seem to obey, but then it seems like they don't. It's insanely difficult to get just one sheep to get on the straight path to the other island, and when it does, it usually falls into the side hole, and when it doesn't, it stays there and I haven't seen a count that I did anything right. So I was unsure if I should really take them all there. But if taking just one was this suffering, I couldn't try anymore. The graphics are so nice, it looks so cool, but I think the gameplay ends up not working unfortunately, or was it just me

Running Low, In Space by Enad96 2023-10-19T23:24:47Z

I broke some blocks and built a path to my ship. On the way, some enemy ships shot at me but I retreated because I didn't know how to kill them. Arriving at my ship, I managed to move after some effort and got stuck on the side rail without being able to get out. The gameplay is a little confusing, although it's a lot made for a jam, there are some gameplay problems that spoiled the fun a little.

Escape the Vents by JammyGunns 2023-10-09T19:05:59Z

The intention was good, but I think there was a lack of better execution, and we know that time is cruel in the jam. I think that both the graphics and the sound could have been better used. I couldn't feel a claustrophobic feeling, although I thought I would from the photos. Then there was the problem with the camera, which was half broken. But the idea is great and totally on topic. I would love to have been able to feel what you planned.

Whiskers in the Dark by Diego Teran 2023-10-08T18:46:22Z

The graphics are perfect, full marks, the sound too. I would add about 4 or 5 different sounds for when the hand picks up the cat, so it doesn't get repetitive. I would put it in ramdom or choose, each time the hand appears it chooses a sound, this would make it more attractive, because in certain parts I die a lot and the same sound, but this is a detail that I would do, it is not a negative point here. I only got stuck at the end but I don't know how to specify the stage number. It would be great to finish this game.

Man, I'm really very impressed and personally, for me, it's the best I've played so far, which is more in line with the theme and more fun. The audio is exciting, the space completely limited. I didn't find it difficult, but I know it's not easy, but it's perfectly balanced. The minimalist graphics were the only part that I didn't give maximum marks. But the graphics really are as they should be. Perfect. Ah, at the moment I was in 25th place.

Witch Contractor 2 by alpacalypse 2023-10-18T01:30:00Z

I didn't understand this game. The camera's view is very distant, the items are distant due to the distant camera and I don't really know what they are, the music is quite repetitive and quickly starts to get annoying. The screen goes black and I'm not sure what to do..

Plump on the Stump by Bloodbane 2023-10-19T06:21:57Z

This is a great game. What made me curious is that it looks like a 2d graph simulating 3d, so I would like to know if it is really 2d. The shadow on the ground was very good, I liked the graphics, it was well implemented. It could be a lot more fun if it had a checkpoint. You can't be in the fourth phase and die and everything comes back. The first time I considered going back, the second time I died in the fourth phase I gave up because of that. You can't go back to everything. Tlavez has not been implemented due to time. When the player takes damage there should be a sound that warns me, the blue ball in the left corner of the screen that is reduced is not enough. Other than that it's a great game. There are a few more children missing too.

Hardcore Packing Simulator by GoldyXEN 2023-10-16T19:16:49Z

I downloaded both versions for Windows to make sure it wasn't a bug in the fix version. The game screen is very small and doesn't resize, giving the impression that there is more going on outside the screen. I take the letter and put it in the mailbox and nothing happens. I don't know if it was me or... The graphics are pixel art that is a bit confusing and with very low resolution, but it may have been intentional.

Firebounded by tucan 2023-10-14T05:20:53Z

It's too difficult at the beginning, as soon as it starts I'm surrounded and I burn to death in the flame. The flame around me also burns me. Very difficult so it kills the fun

johto by bliny-lynx 2023-10-19T23:32:28Z

Pretty cool idea, but planes are always usually without risk of collision, only if I change the route wrongly. There was no real challenge, just watching the planes flying

Safe Space Passage by Kepsert 2023-10-05T07:45:42Z

It's unbelievable that this is a jam game. It seems like a complete game to me, and it is. It even has a save slot. Okay, we're a team, but still. I'm impressed. I had to give maximum marks in everything. The box is very limiting as the theme predicts. I loved this box, it's so original. I was happy to have found this. I have no criticism here, nothing. Even the level skip button is nice to have. How did you achieve so much in such a short time? very good

Wizard n' Slims by rickylee 2023-10-15T04:31:54Z

Really a lot for a short time in a jam. Good sounds and nice graphics. Even playing for a while and reaching level 24 I'm not sure if I completely understood what was happening because I don't have much experience with this type of game, but it's certainly very well done.

Pixel Piles by Gabriel Chan 2023-10-08T07:01:12Z

interesting concept. I was starting to understand about canceling a part and then exchanging that part, I don't know if I could explain it, but I didn't completely understand how it works. Initially it's interesting, but in the long run it gets boring quickly. Or it could be that I couldn't get it to work as it should.

Eclipse by Zeit 2023-10-17T05:02:14Z

Some interesting concepts like entering the tomb and the wall, but when I get to the part where the stone chases me, I lose my balance and it becomes too difficult. The stone just comes at me and that's it

Too Maneon Loots by lastuck 2023-10-17T20:45:51Z

I had already played this game a few days ago but I couldn't evaluate it and I left it alone, but as you evaluated it on my page I came back here. It's because I thought the music was fantastic, the graphics were interesting, everything seemed very well done and programmed, but I didn't understand what was happening until I died. I moved the items in the inventory, threw some in the trash, but I really have no idea what to do to live longer. I didn't understand anything, but I know it's just me, from the comments most of them understood what it was about, only one or the other had the same difficulty

Misplaced Tie by knexator 2023-10-12T15:50:42Z

This game surprised me, I really liked it. I had difficulty, I'm not good with puzzles, but I managed to solve it after some effort. This was a beautiful entry, it deserved more attention. You could have made a cover photo a little more elaborate, worked on the game page better, this game would have easily stood out because it is so good. Maybe a little background music, but I imagine there wasn't time. I liked very much.

Auto-Pilot by woona 2023-10-12T05:16:17Z

I liked the idea but I can't survive any round, the lasers always kill me vertically and horizontally. Extremely simple graphics and sounds too. I appreciate your effort

SUPA SEAL-MAN!! 小さな氷山島に魚の事故!! by MoonDweller 2023-10-20T18:10:46Z

It was a similar approach to the theme to four others that I played here at the jam, one of which I saw that you saw. Yours is funny, it has these Japanese voices that gave it a comical and original touch. What I didn't like or didn't find out how to do is that I can't do anything with the damn ducks, I want to kill them, but I can only dodge...

OneSocket by r8teful 2023-10-13T02:29:02Z

Unfortunately the camera is making me dizzy, the camera hardly stabilizes, any touch to the side causes a sudden turn. So you can't play properly. I even connected some plugs, I died too, but the camera made me dizzy, I had to give up.

Super Cube by Senso 2023-10-11T00:47:09Z

Very innovative, killer sound. When the space decreased, I didn't know much what to do. Online ranking is really good, great entry. As always, simplicity is a great learning experience when jamming.

Exodus by Lachlan James 2023-10-10T18:25:19Z

The music is very calming and fits well with the space. I would prefer that somehow the tutorial was in real time without the system of going through the dialogues, which is always a bit tedious. But the graphics are well done and fit well within the theme. I even survived a considerable time. I would like the game not to stop when we have messages to read, interruptions disrupt the flow of the game, I think. It's a good idea without a doubt, a good entry.

The Grave Shift by acarc 2023-10-09T00:56:40Z

I liked the atmosphere and it matches the theme, but as others have said, it's a bit annoying having to press the arrow instead of simply holding the arrow and walking. You can also tell when the theme song ends and starts again. The audio should be worked on so as not to notice the end, to fit perfectly giving the illusion of being infinite, but that's a small detail. But it was a good idea, it just needs some adjustments I think.

Bitter Retirement by Chaineddreamer 2023-10-04T05:10:02Z

The graphics are simple, but they look very original and handcrafted. It's fun to play some boxes, but I'd like to calculate how much I'm messing up the ocean, some kind of score. I would also like to hit the angel and have him knocked over or thrown into the water. A first entry and a good job. There are already basic mechanics ready. Just need to add punctuation and a few things. The hardest thing ever achieved, something fun. As for the topic, I think I'm completely off topic. Even though there is only one screen, the space feels very open and not at all limited. But it's fun.

Indcosmus by milq 2023-10-14T05:03:34Z

I liked the game but it lacked checkpoints, that killed a lot of the fun, because at the end of the level going back through the whole level isn't possible, in my opinion, but I know that maybe due to time it wasn't possible to implement it. A single life is also tense, but the checkpoint would make up for it. The graphics are simple but well fitted

Fun Ant Game by ElmoEinstein 2023-10-03T03:08:48Z

addictive, very good. It took me a while to understand how to play, but you were brilliant. I had problems with the side scroll bar. I just think it could be tighter to fit the theme better. But I have to test other games and I'm stuck here. The music could vary between two or 3 themes, but it is pleasant. But the game is addictive. Congratulations, good entry.

Prairie Dog Panic! by SAD Studios 2023-10-15T05:25:23Z

Fun for a short time. the idea is good, but in each new level it seemed to change very little. The enemies appear in the middle of the screen, I think it would be more realistic if they entered through doors scattered around the room. It could have other weapons such as a shotgun. But I know, it's a short time for that. But it was nice to kill a little

Stretchmancer by Choo 2023-10-22T03:40:01Z

I was impressed, I saw this game at the jam but somehow I didn't think it was what it is and ended up not testing it. I think these incredible things really emerge during jams, people end up reinventing themselves, this is so innovative, it's enough to impress anyone. Imagine this with the updated graphics and impressive ambient sound. It really deserves the place it is.

YEETUS by Pinky Toast 2023-10-14T04:56:26Z

interesting graphics, but too heavy to load, maybe check the optimization. The music seems generic, it doesn't fit with the action. The enemies accumulate too much on the screen, perhaps a more linear progression of difficulty. Because of these factors I didn't find it fun, but it seems like a great job in such a short amount of time.

Bimbi's Cosmo Party by Frib 2023-10-05T07:51:36Z

Incredible simplicity with fun here. The spaces really are tight, but maybe not that much. The idea of minigames is very original, but they seem too fast to allow for any fun. I think there could be more time on each of them for appreciation.

Prickle by Kultuk 2023-10-09T22:42:12Z

Agent Cat - Mewssion Fridge by Fiordarancio 2023-10-16T19:22:10Z

Wow, honestly I was scared by the size of the download, more than 700 mb I thought it was a bit absurd, maybe poorly optimized? Or really heavy graphics? Even very large and graphically good games are nothing more than that. So I ended up not downloading it to test unfortunately, but I wanted to comment here because I think the size of the game in this case could have a negative influence. I don't think most people are willing to download something larger than 700 mb, and downloading something is already a factor that demotivates many since html5 in the browser on itch.io and others is already the biggest advantage. At this size, it could mean a serious problem. Generally Unreal has made games very big and it seems like some effort is needed to make them smaller, I don't know if that was the case here.

Agent Cat - Mewssion Fridge by Fiordarancio 2023-10-18T13:44:53Z

@fiordarancio Yes, the important thing is that even with the unforeseen events we managed to be here and received enough classifications. Next time we will definitely be better

Beach Brawl by BalimaarTheBassFish 2023-10-16T18:23:12Z

Good soundtrack and also some extra sounds. I read all the comments and noticed that you didn't really agree with some of them or asked for more explanations. When I read them I understood immediately, sometimes we leave comments that are not so clear because we don't want to be so specific that it's a negative comment. So sometimes even if you say little you can understand. In my case, I think it's a good entry for this jam and it's good that none of them managed to send it in such a short time. But the criticisms regarding the graphics and difficulty are clear and I agree with that, the feedbacks are there to help, paying attention to them is valuable. Regarding the graphic, all the text in the fonts, including the buttons in the home menu, are word-type letters, common letters like notepad letters, it is not a font that matches the beach theme or even an artistic gaming font. The graphic is simple but pleasant, it would only be cooler if the character moved his legs or some type of animation when moving. The birds are cool. I think the biggest issue that took away the fun was the fact that it was too difficult and there was no progression in difficulty. It doesn't get more difficult little by little, in just a few seconds so many birds come that it is very difficult to survive and loses its appeal. I stayed in the corner just shooting but still death is certain. I also didn't see much where it would fit into the theme. But when it comes to a jam, it's a good entry, good original music. I would improve the fonts, add some animation to the main character and better balance the way the birds appear, gradually becoming more difficult. A gun to kill the birds or a shotgun would be cool lol, but it's just my crazy mind working lol... I received a lot of positive feedback, but a lot of constructive criticism too and they all helped me deeply. All the negative criticisms I received I recognized immediately and some I fixed on the same day, others are noted to be implemented. They know what they're saying, the ones who spent some of their time evaluating your game. Don't ignore them. On my page I tried to argue with one of them, until 3 more came reporting the same bug. Then I saw that he was right, after fixing the very serious error that he warned me about, he even posted a gif alerting me and I still insisted on him lol, afterwards I thanked him immensely for the feedback he gave me.

Beach Brawl by BalimaarTheBassFish 2023-10-17T03:33:16Z

@balimaarthebassfish I know how it is, my time is also up and I haven't even managed to add sound and I haven't added anything either, so much so that there's still no sound or any graphical improvements. Only bugs in the code I fix, but the content I leave as is. But I think it's worth putting up a post-jam version in case anyone wants to test how it got better. I can't wait to do this and add everything I wanted to add, but at the moment I'm busy playing and evaluating the games.

Schrödinger's Cat: The Game by Gecko64 2023-10-16T19:41:15Z

As has already been said here, there is no puzzle to solve, just turn the walls off and on and go. Still, it has music and sound effects. The graphics are simple but functional. Even though the fun was lacking due to the lack of difficulty or progression, I played and passed all the levels. Thank you for submitting your game and finishing it on time. What you learned in this jam you will improve on the next one and we will meet again.

Meow-scapade: Watch your paws! by Panfil Alexandrina 2023-10-20T22:34:25Z

The idea is good, but the water advances too quickly in the first phase, really fast. It starts off very difficult, I think it needs a balance, it needs to get more difficult little by little

Paula Shultz Adventures by brainles etertainment 2023-10-09T19:32:29Z

Very dark and disturbing theme, although in practice I didn't really feel like I was in a coffin, especially because of the character's graphic which is just something black, it spoiled the experience. There could also be a background theme that would help make everything more tense. But the idea is so good that it is perhaps the best use of the theme that I have seen so far. I don't even really know in a game like this how the lid could open with dirt on top, I don't know how it could come off. Maybe go out with your soul lol. Fantastic idea, but something was missing I think

CosmoTrasher by Prologi 2023-10-19T18:26:52Z

This game is a lot of fun, I spent a long time here playing and only later realized that I was in training mode :-( I made a mistake lol. Then I tried to get a good time, but I didn't make it past three minutes so I took a break. But the music is really fun, I thought it was cool that you added two songs, one calmer in the test version and another really lively in the actual version. So you hit the nail on the head here, I didn't find anything negative to say about it. You even intelligently, even though you don't have an online ranking, created your humble ranking on your own page, that's also smart.

Escape The Phantom Seascape! by Tao Yuanyue 2023-10-17T04:34:53Z

I'm becoming a fan of puzzles. I was managing to solve it after a lot of effort, but upstairs I can't really find the phrase, I looked everywhere. I'm not very good at this, I must have stayed here for about 40 minutes and nothing. The graphics are very good, apparently original. Good sounds. Very good entry. It's a shame that the page doesn't even have cover art, trailer or anything. It's difficult to understand why such good games don't have a well-designed page and why you haven't evaluated other games, because otherwise your game won't even appear. Many people would like to solve this riddle, but they just haven't seen the game

Apocalypse Mall by Don Juan Javier 2023-10-09T02:05:19Z

I found it a little confusing to understand the controls at first, even with on-screen help. I don't know, something is missing. \It looks different and innovative but I don't think it works overall. The characters should be together at the beginning I believe.

PSI by goddzeproject 2023-10-11T01:38:47Z

I read the comments and I also found it very difficult, but I believe that in this case you tried to make everything as strange as possible. That's very different, but at the end there was a table or something similar in front, I don't know how I could get past there. But it's very different from everything

Space Ltd. by Jon Curtin 2023-10-18T03:53:48Z

The gameplay is a bit confusing, but for the short jam time it's understandable

Space traffic controller by rej 2023-10-17T01:46:02Z

I found it very innovative and different. It's fun, has a good difficulty curve until things really get very difficult. After the first playthrough it gets a little boring quickly, but it's very original and the noise from the collision signal plus the explosions is very good.

In Search of Space by helluin 2023-10-17T03:27:47Z

There seems to be a graphic and sound atmosphere, but the gameplay and level design I found confusing. Right at the beginning there seem to be many paths, items, I don't know where to go. There doesn't seem to be an indication of where to go, but I know that time is short for more elaborate level design. The game is very heavy, the graphics seem not optimized, it crashes a lot here in the browser. But I really appreciate the original graphics and concept art. I didn't understand where I had to take the blue crystal. It keeps popping up to press E and when I press it nothing happens.

Depths of Eonar by GreyNovemberGames 2023-10-05T03:56:44Z

A platform game with well-made pixel art graphics. The spiked forces are really a headache, I had some fun but I couldn't stay until I found the boss. The spaces are tight but I believe that it is still not the best way to use the theme because even so there is a large enough space to see and the huge stage did not give me a feeling of cramping. But when it comes to Geni, it's a great entry, very well crafted.

Gacha Fever by Falestress 2023-10-18T17:48:54Z

I played both versions, in the first one, which is the jam, I couldn't get past the first horde and the circle always closed and I died. In the post jam version I managed to stay alive for half an hour and still hadn't died, it was much more balanced, but I would say it was even easier. So maybe there just has to be more of a balance between the first and second version, making it a little more difficult, because the update made it very easy. But I imagine how difficult it must be to balance that. I'm not a fan of this vampire survival genre, but the game is really cool, excellent graphics, and everything else, including professional-level sounds. It doesn't even look like a jam game, it would easily fit on Steam and maybe that's why it's among the first. But not only for that, but also for the amount of feedback given without a doubt, so well done! The page is also very beautiful, everything is very good.

Box of Squingus by leckert 2023-10-17T01:27:57Z

The idea is super original and within the theme, very impressive gameplay, but the jump at a certain point doesn't seem to be possible to jump in certain parts, the jump doesn't seem to be able to cross certain very long holes. I got stuck at one part. Maybe it could be divided into smaller phase segments and a sound would go down well, but probably due to time the sound didn't come through. A great idea but the jumping thing that doesn't reach the end of the hole broke me

Six Floors Under by maxededo 2023-10-09T05:22:11Z

After playing dozens of games I'm a little lazy. I couldn't understand, when I kill the game ends. I know there's something there, but some people also thought there was a lack of a better tutorial. But the graphics, sound and theme are very good, just confusing to understand what I have to do. In fact, today I have suffered from this, many games are not very intuitive about what to do. I have to think about this more in games, it's very important. Thinking about how I can make the objective clearer in my own game

Animal Teleporting by JamesW 2023-10-06T14:46:25Z

Really well thought out myth, totally within the theme, and also very original the fact that some animals pass through some areas and others don't. I really enjoyed as far as I could go, in phase 7. The difficulty is very balanced, I stopped at 7 but I feel like I could finish it. I only stopped for time reasons. The sound is also pleasant. The graphics are simple but nice too. I had some fun here.

Cold and Unforgiving by ViktorTheGreat 2023-10-05T03:07:59Z

cool graphics. I thought it was off topic. The path through the trees is tight, but free enough to explore. The atmosphere is cool, a suspenseful atmosphere. As far as it's done. A good job overall.

Project Minima by BlueDandelion 2023-10-09T19:44:03Z

A good sample of a precision platformer. I suffer a lot with this genre because I really don't like dying so much over and over again, but it's part of it. I liked the simple graphics and the sound fits well. It's within the theme, although I think not so much, since space isn't that limited, and on precision platforms space is generally already limited...

Honestly, I won't be able to vote here because I don't understand English perfectly so I couldn't take advantage. I came to say that it was a good use of Leonardo AI. In a little while I believe there will be no distinction between whether it was made or created with AI, but anyway, I liked the sound effects. I'm just not going to vote because I couldn't read the story. Ah, one thing I need to say, even using Leonardo AI you can work on the images in photoshop, crop the backgrounds, animate things instead of just static images. I say this because it weighed a lot, they are large images, and it took a long time to load. Normally games don't do this, they use spirits with transparent backgrounds in intelligently designed backgrounds to take up less memory. Images that repeat themselves, but look whole, is the trick. Of course, it's more work lol and I know the time.

Limited Dungeon by Vitaslayer 2023-10-19T08:24:32Z

Very good pixel art graphics, cool music, but the game stops all the time and I press the buttons but sometimes it's difficult to get back into the game. Stopping the game all the time like this completely took away the fun, it's difficult to get back into the game, it keeps stopping.

Single Circle by kanity 2023-10-04T04:03:05Z

The music is soft, but I don't think it suits the deep ocean atmosphere. I would expect more atmospheric music to give more ambiance. Some deep ocean and deep water sounds would help with the mood. The art is cute, in a personal style, but I had difficulty visualizing it, it didn't seem very clear. And the plot I found very linear, I didn't really see interesting plot options. I found it very monotonous, but at the same time original. I wish I had appreciated it more. Despite understanding that he would be trapped in a small space diving, I didn't feel that in the game. So I don't know if it's appropriate for the topic. But anyway, I liked seeing the possibilities of the narrative game, I just think it wasn't well explored.

Red Zone by TheCaptainBuster 2023-10-16T17:59:50Z

I arrived at the most contracted area and collected some fruits. I like the sound of gunfire. It would be cool when enemies get shot to change their sprite to show some type of damage. I think there is no end, right, when the circle became small and I was in the middle, that was it, there was nothing left. I imagine there wasn't time to design the rest. But as far as it went it was interesting. A little more development time and it would have been more fun

Simplicity is everything. I loved the sounds more than anything else, although I also liked the abstract look. I didn't really like the gameplay, because I don't think it's sustainable in the long term, but it's very different and innovative, but also very simple.

Turbo Tumble by bad_fetus 2023-10-13T02:40:48Z

I played both versions, the jam and post jam. I really don't understand why the side of the red track is transparent and not solid. In my opinion this ruined the experience, if I could hit the sides it would be more interesting. I don't know if the idea has anything to do with the theme, but it could be fun, but leaving the track every time you cross the red wall is complicated, I think.

I definitely missed something. I also became lazy without wanting to try to understand. I clicked on things but didn't understand how to play. I know I could spend some time trying to understand, but everything seemed a bit confusing. I didn't see any sounds. I think I'm a bit slow when it comes to this type of game, I tend to like to start doing something and understand it as I go along. In this case, I would need to understand everything first, I didn't have the patience at that point. But I think the problem was me.

Pong Begrenzt by EqualEnergy 2023-10-09T21:18:32Z

Yes, it has to do with the theme. Pong

Temple of the Abyss by CardboardMoon 2023-10-08T05:36:42Z

Simplicity is everything. Well suited to the theme, cool sound. Apart from the bugs you already indicated, I went up to number 20. But after a while it's all the same, although there are the variations you mentioned. But I think it's a good entry and very effective. Sounds like a mobile game idea.

宇宙列車 -SPACE EXPRESS- by Viwka 2023-10-13T06:50:40Z

A very interesting hud, I like the hud taking up a large part of the screen simulating controls, but the gameplay is quite confusing. The shots don't kill me, the boss doesn't seem to die, so many shots come from him that I can barely see him

Cursed Shadows by Wonkanese 2023-10-19T07:42:40Z

It's actually fun, but the fact that I only have 8 bullets and can't find more before it runs out makes me a dead guy right away. It is a shame. If it were infinite bullets, fun would be guaranteed. I don't understand why limit bullets.

Submarine Escape by brick2face 2023-10-03T03:20:07Z

I don't know how to leave the room

Prison escape by Game addict 2023-10-20T21:43:16Z

Bullfrog Burnie by Logan_Core 2023-10-04T04:19:28Z

I found it difficult to jump in a zig zag at the beginning, and also to jump from square to square in a zig zag. This made it very difficult for me as I'm not good at precision platforms. But good graphics and sounds.

Infinitum Labyrinth - Space Un-LIMITed by AweSkyBear 2023-10-16T19:05:58Z

It kept me playing longer than I initially imagined. Some enemies are almost transparent, just with very thin lines that would practically require a magnifying glass to be seen. But the gif graphics on the page show much better sprites of enemies and items, and I don't know why it's appearing like this here. The sounds are very good and the mechanics are very interesting.

Infinitum Labyrinth - Space Un-LIMITed by AweSkyBear 2023-10-16T20:24:52Z

emoji font symbols this, but in the image on your page they are not emoji symbols but sprites. that was my doubt. These emojis are very small on the screen, just their line, the edges are almost transparent because the line is very thin and they are very small, that's it

U-TRIP by QYQ 2023-10-11T01:21:45Z

Despite the very simple graphics, I really liked the idea and the atmosphere, the music really is a spacey vangelis type theme, pleasant. Unfortunately, the difficulty increased too much at the beginning, making it almost impossible to pass, so I gave up. Asteroids disappearing when I touch them doesn't make sense either, I think. But overall it was a great idea

InvenStory by pro4 2023-10-08T08:07:15Z

I got stuck in the second phase, I'm so terrible. good graphics, sounds and theme. A very good entry

Limitverse (ludum-54) by eugene-b 2023-10-08T08:00:06Z

By coincidence I saw a post of yours on Instagram. The art is incredible. The concept is great within the theme. But I don't understand why the bullets hit the wall and come back, that's annoying because they hit me. The hearts also don't change color when I take damage so I don't know how much life I have left. The shot could do more damage... (@mehul) asked about AI, I hadn't thought about it, sometimes I forget about it, either way, whether or not it's great

Drive Ice by ShinanXu 2023-10-19T18:01:14Z

What a beautiful and fun game, great job. With sound it would be even better, I believe you could add a post jam version with the sounds, because I know there wasn't time, right? I would like a way for the ice platform to be able to return little by little, perhaps by collecting something, it would increase the game time, because total destruction is almost inevitable after a while. It's really beautiful, the other two I played about very similar penguins were side-scrolling, but yours is vertical. All 3 are a lot of fun, great examples of good implementation of the theme in the jam. Just by playing games like yours we learn about how to make games for a jam. That's the amazing thing about jams like ludum dare where we are encouraged to play each other's games. Many jams just send and that's it, not here, if you don't play other people's games and evaluate and if possible comment, you could be in trouble lol.

Fill the crates ! by Flancon 2023-10-18T03:02:04Z

I would like to congratulate you on being able to submit it on your first jam. I've tried other times but this is the first time I've managed to submit it in the jam category too. The pieces don't fit together properly, it doesn't seem to be completely working perfectly yet, but it works in a certain way.

Space Bar ☆ Porter q(≧▽≦q) by Kuchinashi 2023-10-08T07:15:30Z

I thought it was fantastic, but if I didn't do something wrong, in some parts in the second phase, at certain times the space didn't work when it should have. In fact, when I reached the end of the second level, the teleportation didn't work, neither the one below nor the one on the ceiling. But it must be something here, as others have passed. As for the game, it's fantastic, brilliant. But it got off topic a little I think. Although it's perfect.

Space Bar ☆ Porter q(≧▽≦q) by Kuchinashi 2023-10-08T07:46:53Z

Damn I let that go, I knew I must be doing something wrong lol. I'll even play again then, thank you.

Cosmic Cafe Crisis by simbishy 2023-10-06T05:45:27Z

I had fun here. It's a casual game, a quick round and the kitchen is gone. Customers couldn't have been angrier. Through trial and error I tried to do something but guess what? I couldn't do anything lol. The falling rocks were a lot of fun, everything was very chaotic and cramped. Very well polished graphically. Just confused to understand what to do. I could start with simple things like juice and get more difficult...

Laboratory of Doom by Constance 2023-10-16T13:42:19Z

Hello, I liked the sound of the pistol. The limited inventory slots forced me to throw away the flashlight at one point in order to carry all the cards, but I managed just fine without the flashlight. It was difficult to be without the gun when the bullets ran out, as the knife seems to be no match for many zombies at the same time. Sometimes I take advantage of the fact that they get stuck in the entrances. There are a lot of sounds missing like weapon reloading and others, but I know that's due to the short time of the jam. My biggest difficulty was running out of bullets in the gun. The ambience is cool and the flashlight effect is very good. It's a good entry that could be very good if it solves some problems. I think the knife is too slow to kill enemies, without the gun death seems certain. I didn't get to test whether I could run and close the doors against the enemies.

Get The Pumpkin! by yndajas 2023-10-19T06:06:02Z

A good example of a successful jam entry that doesn't try to be more than it can be. Everything is simple but functional, and a dose of humor in the sound of the jump. Simple, fast and functional. Very good.

Crime Critters (Rob the British Museum) by Pen Island Games 2023-10-10T00:40:31Z

This game is really fun, I played the jam version and the post jam version. The sound was really missed. I played with my daughter too lol, we had fun

Snow Rose by Shiivers 2023-10-17T05:12:23Z

Very different concept of being able to get rid of parts of the body to crawl. After I get the key I don't know what to do. I liked the gloomy and dark atmosphere, good graphics. There's a bug right at the beginning, if I walk left on the initial wall and keep pressing F, the parts come out and the character falls as if into a hole and gets stuck there. I would like to see more of this, so far it only seems like a small piece.

Back to Space by Zazzar 2023-10-17T01:39:48Z

The graphic style of the characters is original, the scenery lacks graphic support for the characters. The music is cool. I went through some phases, just leading the butterfly to the door. I didn't find it very fun, but I liked the graphic style of the characters.

Bubbles by Emma.Ge 2023-10-18T18:45:40Z

If I step outside the bubble it dies instantly, there is no time to return to the bubble, it gets stuck and asks to restart with R. I couldn't leave the starting point, not very far. If I go a little higher I die, it's not clear where I can go at the beginning before blowing the bubble, I don't know where the limit is.

Greasy Justice by kasmilus 2023-10-19T03:12:44Z

I thought it might just be me but I read some similar comments. I get a little frustrated when I can't play a game here. The browser is completely stuck here, the music plays a little stuck, the arrow moves a little slow, I couldn't play or do anything. I didn't understand what to do, nothing happened.

lungage by mindhijacker 2023-10-04T19:44:44Z

Space is really limited, which is good for the theme. The graph is very simple. What bothered me was having to keep picking up the stones, instead of just being able to throw them. I found it unnecessary. I think that killed the fun. The music I thought had nothing to do with the game. I think it's on theme, but I didn't think it was fun to play.

Give Me BBQ by Surune 2023-10-09T05:38:48Z

This topic is being extensively explored, with inventory or ingredients. I didn't find the graphics very pleasant. The sound matches. It's on topic. I don't know,

Pazuru Packing Sushi by Gabreu 2023-10-06T14:36:08Z

The music is very pleasant. A great idea for the theme, space is really limited. Good puzzle, it didn't take me long to understand. Good in terms of theme, sounds and the art is satisfactory. A good entry. I already had difficulty in the third level, but I'm terrible at puzzles.

Cosmic Cursor Capture by NonDev 2023-10-08T02:58:37Z

I like the total simplicity and very clean graphics. Cool look, sound matches. But if I didn't miss something, it's just a matter of diverting and nothing more to do. When I saw the trailer I thought I could shoot or destroy something, just dodging I don't see much point, although the whole concept is pretty cool, that's missing. If I didn't miss anything...

Free Him by Rena 2023-10-19T08:45:15Z

It would be cool to add a button to the entire itch.io screen. It takes a long time to load. Well harmonized graphics. When the escaped iceberg message appears, I can't go back or climb, is this the end?

Modular by Igor Fam 2023-10-20T21:20:21Z

Very interesting mechanics, cool graphics and sound too. I think in the third phase I kind of didn't know how to get through. I liked the look of the robot.

Out of Spacetime by bellicapelli 2023-10-12T04:42:50Z

Very different and even innovative, but it's like a sample of something. There is not much to do or evolve, just wait for death. But of course, it's a great idea for a short time

SINISTER ELEVATOR by ScaryTreeGames 2023-10-09T18:18:56Z

Another lesson in the simplicity and effectiveness of the theme. Powerful sound and good graphics. If the weapon's direction moved the weapon's angle in the direction of the mouse arrow, that would be great. The mouse arrow would not need to appear, it would be more realistic. After a while, that's all it is, but it has a lot of potential. It's incredible that it could be a game completely focused on this, the player standing inside the elevator and more and more different creatures coming, each floor would be worse or not. It would be cool to be able to walk in the elevator, press the buttons and choose the floors, the sound of the elevator going up and down, the sound of people screaming through the floors, bodies on the floor everywhere on the floors. Or not, just the bodies because everyone has already died and only you are left because he was trapped in the elevator that stopped working but the power came back on? I'm traveling here lol...

Magical Trial: Kiki's Service by Hongxin Li 2023-10-17T00:10:53Z

Honestly, I didn't understand anything, I walk around, I pick up items that I only discovered after having to use the mouse button, I pick them up and I don't know what to do with them, I throw them downstairs, the character is very slow, but then I discovered that I can run with shift. But although the graphics are good, they look like ready-made assets just placed here and nothing else. But I believe there wasn't enough time to really implement the gameplay that it should be. Sometimes the floor falls and I don't understand why. In fact, I didn't understand anything, the text itself is written in a way that blends in with the background image and is impossible to read.

Penguin Escape by herman6006 2023-10-14T04:43:09Z

The simplicity of the graphics fooled me, this is a great game. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get past the first game. I get the code and I get the color sequence right but time runs out in the middle of the process. The music is a lot of tension, this game is very good

Berg Jump by jds 2023-10-16T19:50:58Z

For me it was one of the most fun and at the same time simple games of the jam. The idea is fantastic. The sound is cool and the graphics are cool. It was well thought out that the iceberg started to melt (shrink) but sometimes I jump onto an iceberg and it takes me closer to no other and death is certain, but I know that controlling this randomness and transforming it into something better than that would mean much more coding time. It's quite fun really. Just an aesthetic factor, in the long run you can liven up the water, the effect of the water moving would be cool, but just for aesthetics. I liked the penguin sprite animations.

Ventory's Inn by Teist 2023-10-20T13:53:52Z

The look is very good and children are suitable. Very good graphics. I have some difficulty with English so my customers were unhappy, but the game is very well made and a very solid jam entry, even for a team

Cosmic Caster by Whysper 2023-10-07T05:53:04Z

I couldn't draw any shape that would release any magic. I'm not feeling lucky today :-( . But the enemies don't deal damage to me, I didn't think the whole thing made much sense.

Lab Job! (Play In-Browser) by Smitner 2023-10-05T06:12:12Z

Great idea, completely on topic. I reached the third stage and hesitated, leaving the tube on the wall. Cool the bodies in the acid. music and sounds fit together well. cool puzzle

Time it right! by andriybyelikov 2023-10-20T22:22:14Z

I think this is the most different game I've ever seen. I got a little angry because I couldn't do anything and I hate watching videos to understand. But there was no way, I only understood by watching the video. Very good actually, very weird but very good, I like things that are a little crazy

Iceolation by CaptainPMM 2023-10-17T02:36:40Z

Very fun and innovative, very well programmed in a short time, the only thing missing was the sound, but I know that was due to the clear weather. Nice graphics. There's another game in this jam that's similar but you have to jump from one iceberg to another as they melt. interesting two similar games. Each one innovated in their own way.

Mushroom Mayhem by Jaayced 2023-10-10T06:16:33Z

I really missed something, I didn't see the pantry so I couldn't do anything

FELL OUT by daveranan 2023-10-08T17:44:43Z

Very original and interesting art. As it is largely based on dialogue, it limited me by not understanding the language perfectly. I COULD be able to turn the camera, but I know it's a bit time consuming to implement, so ok. The music fits well. I didn't find the space limited in any way, on the contrary. Even though it's not a very big island, it still seems very spacious to me.

Nautical Saviour by Oznarox 2023-10-19T08:40:22Z

I thought the timing on some islands was unbalanced, too fast, almost impossible, making it very difficult. The graphics are super simple but the concept is good. But this difficulty took away the fun

Cat Games by alzhu1 2023-10-05T04:02:55Z

I really liked it, short but fun. The theme really was an inappropriate pun lol, but very fun to play. I wish I could vote here, but I can't

Cat Games by alzhu1 2023-10-11T04:13:35Z

I ended up coming back here again by chance and saw that I commented but hadn't managed to vote. But now it has appeared to me, now I can vote. I don't know why this happens sometimes.

Expedition 32 by onionlabs 2023-10-08T07:44:44Z

Really dark color palette as well as the sound. Space is limited but not that much. The atmosphere is very nice and dark, great pixel art, everything is very well done. I had some disastrous encounters with the black creature, although the atmosphere is dark I didn't get as scared as I read in others' comments, but it is a magnificent piece of art for sure.

Running out of space by Tal28 2023-10-09T01:23:51Z

I liked it but I'm suspicious because I really like 2D ship games. The new thing here is that the screen shrinks. The fact that you can't hold down the button and shoot is annoying, pressing the space bar instead of holding it down doesn't seem like a good idea,

Limited Space:Animal by tengxi 2023-10-19T14:33:18Z

On the second level, when I click E in the blue figure, nothing happens. The enemy in the middle of the path also doesn't do anything, it's like an ornament. Anyway he's in the middle of the way, as I don't have any attacks I couldn't kill him.

Puzzle People by Wizzy-chan 2023-10-19T07:33:47Z

I had fun here, top-notch fun. It only took me a few minutes to understand why the jump wasn't working after a while lol, but I figured it out. Not too difficult puzzles, very friendly game, intelligent level design but not too complicated, very good. Nice graphics, but the music is very repetitive and quickly became annoying. Myth good entry. asdsadsadsad.jpg

My processor is an old AMD fx six core, 16 gb ram and a more or less video card. It got so stuck that I could barely walk, I couldn't play. I think my PC isn't that slow, I was able to see the graphics and sounds and such, but it was impossible to play

Gavin's Small Backpack by CoffeUp Studios 2023-10-20T21:38:37Z

For me, the dialogues were all in Portuguese, which was perfect, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to finish it. I don't really like narrative games, but it was cool, good game. You achieved something simple to finish in a jam, but not that simple, you were competent here, well done. oooo.jpg

Sip & Slime by JakJak 2023-10-13T23:11:08Z

Nice graphics and sounds. I had a little difficulty getting all the ingredients for the juice.

Phobia by KrisM 2023-10-19T07:02:10Z

As others said, there is nothing to do. I can only interact with the closet, but the yes option doesn't work and I can only close it again. The carpet sometimes lifts, but nothing happens. The look is cool, I don't understand why you didn't use a cover image or an image of the game on your page, that's sorely missed. You shouldn't neglect this, the cover and page photo..

The Labyrinth of Madness by EverMoon 2023-10-18T00:52:45Z

It was an attempt at setting it up, but I didn't get to see the labyrinth. I actually didn't know much what to do. When I move there's a strange noise, it's not footsteps, it's like a noise, I don't know if it's a bug. Cool graphics, missing a song or something. I think the developer didn't have time to do what he really wanted here

Nice Park! by Barbabulle 2023-10-10T05:43:56Z

Very interesting, the space is really tight. Fun for a while, good idea on the topic.

A Bit Too Hot by Kris3 2023-10-19T03:45:54Z

One thing is that the same color as the floor is on the wall, so it confuses, it doesn't create contrast. The wall should be a different color than the floor. The second bottle cannot be collected. I couldn't use the mouse arrow for anything and I didn't understand what it was for. Some parts can only be advanced by entering the lava, which led to my death not long after

Ship-Shape by CharlieW32 2023-10-13T05:14:23Z

It also took me a while to realize that I could leave the home screen and move on to other parts. Simple but cool graphics, sound wasn't bothering. I liked the game, it was fun. aswd.jpg

Tower Swap - A Card TD Game by Jeldrik 2023-10-11T00:31:33Z

The look is very simple, but it is interesting. I just didn't really enjoy it because it was difficult to know which card did what, despite the instructions, it still wasn't enough for me.

Shadow's Edge by octahedron 2023-10-18T18:35:07Z

Space Ends With You by subbu_creates 2023-10-07T05:57:53Z

Simple games like this are cool. The sound is very cool atmospheric. It's fine for the theme, the movement bugs sometimes get in the way and I have to restart, but it was interesting. I couldn't vote here, it doesn't appear.

Space Limiter Warp Drive by 2TheGameChanger 2023-10-13T07:38:51Z

Interesting audio, as well as visuals, but there's nothing to do, just parallax,

Moving in by Just_A_Cat 2023-10-20T14:14:27Z

It took me a little while to understand, but it was fun. The graphics are simple and the look is cool. The music then stopped playing. Good job, a good example of a successful entry

The Death Wrapped By Feathers by egggrass 2023-10-04T03:10:56Z

I do not know what to think. I had difficulty because English is not my native language and I am weak at it. But we don't have many options here, just the occasional dialogue choice and some falling feathers. The music is ambient and not original, but it matched the mood. I don't know, I don't think it fits the theme. But I like the art, even though it's all very static.

Mediterranean Smuggling by TTKayttis 2023-10-06T01:12:32Z

I was enjoying it but suddenly the ships no longer emptied and were almost full to capacity, so they sank. I think it's the rescues, I don't know. So I no longer had much control over the situation. Simple interface. But initially I thought it was fun, after a while I no longer have control over anything, I thought.

Dino Extinction by Ryn 2023-10-09T01:49:37Z

Well suited to the theme. I found it simple and fun. There is this bug where it can be left off-screen. Later on, the possibility of passing levels could be added instead of just waiting for the moment of death. print.jpg

Clearing space by Sevansevan 2023-10-10T05:50:26Z

I got stuck in the second phase. Very well designed, the graphics weren't even missed. Lots of simplicity and genius. I don't know if the sounds were missed, but it always adds something.

Jar World by TheMixedMaster 2023-10-04T05:26:07Z

I also agreed with (@mapleleaf) that we need more chaotic games. I liked the whole crazy thing. The jump is really crazy and insanely disproportionate lol, I practically kept quiet in the corner for a long time, following (@stefan-b)'s advice, but then I got tired and ventured into the middle and died, of course. The sound would have been great here. Really cool first jam. I love seeing different ideas. It really is within the theme, very tight and limited, and it would be even more so if the jump was much smaller. This jump is really crazy lol.

THE RAT - Adventures in a limited space by Magalix 2023-10-19T03:26:13Z

I ate the cheeses and went into the hole. But the cat just stays still, I don't understand its function. Maybe there wasn't time to implement the mechanics and animations of the dying mouse, etc.

inertia in the dark by MapleLeaf 2023-10-13T07:01:00Z

Really very different and original, I like the sound of explosions, but it's too difficult. I fought to get past the second one but I couldn't.

Dark Reflect_ions by Victor Musteata Potatka 2023-10-04T06:27:21Z

For a first game it's interesting. The rudimentary graphic ended up being super original. It has a certain sinister atmosphere, the sounds helped to create a certain atmosphere. But there's nowhere to go. Then I was trapped in a square room. It seems like a limited space suited to the theme. It reminded me of Atari and made me want to also create something with super old and rudimentary graphics.

Outta Space by Empyreans 2023-10-18T01:11:21Z

Aesthetics were really prioritized, which is very good. Very cool to restart the machine, very well done. I didn't figure out what to do, but I liked the look. I always fail to submit something in the jams because I start with the visuals and don't have time to implement all the code. But this time I sacrificed the look unfortunately, so I got it. I imagine playing games here on your computer, it would be really incredible. I love the idea of a game within a game. You could explore this, if you haven't and I didn't find it...
