I think I got all of them!?
Congrats on your submission! First of all I want to let you know I was vibing to the music, lovely guitar (played yourself, based on the profile picture, I reckon!? :D ) The graphics were really cute and well done for what they did, close to a perfect score from me in this game's context! Would've loved to see a couple of visual effects on top. The game concept itself is interesting, it took me a round or two to realise I could hide from the "monster" by going into the spaces on the sides. Having to send in different sized critters through the small "hallways" to pick up the other critters was interesting, albeit a bit hard to control (but that's just a dev thing where I'm not used to the mechanic haha). With some more time perhaps an introductory level would've done great perhaps!
All in all, it was a quite enjoyable short game experience. Thanks for your submission!
Loved the simple yet really nice graphics, felt cute. Would have been interesting also if they'd have more emotions when eaten or something, like a surprised face before the poof of disappearing. Maybe a munch sound for the monster and so on too. Controlling them was fine for me, though maybe some ability that makes them scatter and one for bunching up together. That would obviously need to cost some resource, but I think it would add a lot to the game.
Jolly little jam game overall!
Nice entry! A little bit too short, but I really like your take on the theme. Congrats!
Good concept with cool music. However I kept getting a glitch where the camera zoomed in so much that I couldn’t do anything. Other than that it was a fun game.
Loved the vibe and the art and music! I agree that the game would really benefit from an introductory level or two to get the player used to the controls and teach them to hide from the monster, plus more content generally.
I like those little crunch looks cute, with good graphisme
Very nice little game! I would definitely like to play more levels! It is intense and fun.
Simple but cute, I got all 27 cause I refuse to let the critters die.
Next time aim higher! The vibes were good with this game but it's so small :)
Great feedback all! And I agree with all of it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
My plan was to have very expressive critters (so @svenerik your note is spot on :ok_hand: I also love the idea you could scatter them, that sounds pretty fun) and multiple levels with a sense of progression. Still working on a post-jam version that I'm hoping will be closer to what I envisioned. Still learning how to get all this done in a few days. I never leave myself enough time for polish. :sob:
But these are great notes! Much appreciated!
Very short game, great take on the theme, lovely graphics and audio. Not much else to say as I see you are already working on more levels and that's what the game is missing the most at the moment  Great entry overall.
Really cute and fun, nice job. Would love to see more levels :)
The visual and audio assets in this game are top-notch! Loved the gameplay and wish there were more levels since this one level was so fun and challenging!
I can't rescue all the yellow dolls
