I've always been a sucker for Flappy Bird. I spent a lot of my days in the middle school cafeteria trying to grind out higher scores to compete with my friends! I like the art a lot, but I do think the hitboxes on the stalactites and the bat could be tweaked a little bit. There were a few moments where I didn't appear to hit anything but my bat would fall off the screen and I'd get a game over. With that being said, the movement does feel pretty good with the jumping; I think you nailed the gravity and upward forces. Well done!

I appreciated the tried-and-true gameplay - no tutorial needed. Excellent graphics, especially in just 48 hours. I would have like to have seen something original to keep me going beyond a few iterations, but this has everything a game needs to be a game. Nice work!

The gameplay is something I would expect it to be. :D I usually suck at flappy bird like games and this one is no exception.

Jokes aside, the collision shapes look weird. Sometimes I feel like the game is being too harsh on me. :)

It's OK for a 4 hour game, but it's a pity you couldn't spend some more time to polish it. Maybe add a couple of unique mechanics and all.

Anyway, I think my best run was around the score of 8. xD That's pretty pathetic, I know.

Oh wow, the art is really lovely. The rest of the game is nice as well, given the limited time you worked on it. But that little bat looks really nice.

Really impressive art if you made that in your 4 hours! The game is flappy bird, nothing new but hey it works! Hopefully you learned something.

As for a flappy bird clone, it's tough when I'm not sure how precise I can be or how close I can go. The bat collider is a question mark, honestly the pillars as well. Which is important for that gameplay :)

Also I can't find your source code on your itch FYI!
