Fruits? by PetitLu 2025-10-12T21:26:54Z ♥ 1
very nice! big plus adding web, fullscreen and gameplay support. made use of all three.
spent way too much time juggling a single fruit on my cart to get couple of extra fruits :D
the last level was my favourite because of the bounces you could get using the branches and the cart!
I understand this was a jam and we only had 48h but a lot of expansion could be made on the gameplay; more levels, different elements on levels like extra bouncy walls or fire, more fruits with different properties, melons that are bigger and heavy, bananas that bounce strangely, grapes that split into many. could also add upgrades to the cart, size and speed and so on :)
anyway, good job, I had fun!

I am also on firefox, and itch worked fine for me.
I tried three times, but I don't like that you need to search for the thing for like 10 minutes, constantly building up crazy tension, and then once you find it, it's over. Way too intense for me xD I tried running away, didn't work. Tried throwing lights at the thing, didn't work. Also I feel the anomaly was always like 20 rooms away from the containment cell and the task felt impossible.
The game is however very well put together and the mood and tension is crazy high. Sound design is on point. I would have liked to be able to understand where I was but everything looked kinda the same, orientation felt difficult, but I suppose it also added to the horror since not knowing where you are is not a good feeling, when you are locked inside with an unknown creature.
Ok I'm gonna try one more time, now that I have calmed down a bit.
...
Haha no way! I can't do it. I noticed it is interested by the lights, but most of all it's interested by myself...
...
Tried again. Did it.. did it close my browser tab this time when I got caught?
...
I overcame my fears, tried once more and actually did it! My heart was racing omg. After having tried six or so times I started to learn the environment and I managed to lure it in the end. But it was a close call.
Spoiler, explaining how I did it in case anyone else has trouble like I did: !>The trick is to first get to the cell and open it, then find the anomaly and manage to stay away enough and use red flares to inch by inch getting it into the cell. You need patience. And turn off your flashlight.

This was super cool. Made me remember Silent Service for the NES. I finally sunk the carrier, but I feel I just got lucky with the spawn. But it was like my 20th attempt!! It was very hard. The enemy was really good at finding me, and once they did, I never got them off my back, and they didn't care about the obstacles :D Sometimes I feel like the sonar didn't go off when I used it? Or it didn't work for obstacles? I collided once because of this. Seems to be something up with the green flashing monitor effect also, after playing a while it became very intense. Other than that - very solid entry! Enjoyed it a lot

Fun game! Duration and range seemed a bit overpowered but then came the enemies that ignored the signal and threw a wrench in the machinery :) Screenshot 2026-04-20 214421.png
