LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Down to the Wire by Mieeh 2022-04-07T22:24:00Z

This is such a cool puzzle game! A surprising amount of depth for such a simple concept. I was really impressed by the amount of polish on this as well as the amount of well-designed puzzles for such a short time frame. One of the best games I've played so far this jam!

Shotgun King: the Final Checkmate by benjamin 2022-04-08T02:01:39Z

I don't even know what to say. This is incredible! Probably the best entry I've played. I have no idea how you were able to make this in 72 hours, it feels like a full release already!

Graveyard Path by JOrbits 2022-04-06T17:02:28Z

Really cool mechanic and take on the theme! I appreciated having a checkpoint system, it would have been frustrating to have to restart the game each death. Overall the level design was really good and balanced to include each age's mechanic, but there were a few places where the spikes were placed a bit unfairly off the screen which led to a few frustrating deaths. Overall I really enjoyed this!

Space Death by loligxp 2022-04-04T15:35:14Z

Nice job! I made it to 442. I loved the depth of the upgrade system. My one suggestion would be to make it possible to aim with the mouse, because having to turn around to shoot at the enemies felt a bit tedious at times

THERE IS A FIRE HERE by yellow 2022-04-04T04:12:31Z

This is super addictive! Really simple but really fun. My best was 42 seconds

Different Strokes by Scott Steffes 2022-04-07T00:04:23Z

This is incredible! It took me way too long to figure out that all of the art was created by other players but once I did I was blown away! Super cool concept and I love the cozy aesthetic

Death's Approach by MrScythe 2022-04-04T15:23:31Z

Awesome! Love the graphics, especially the death animation. Controls felt smooth, and I liked the incentive to attack more than 1 enemy at once to save time.

Lumber Tracks by Black Flag 2022-04-04T17:03:27Z

Really neat game and a unique take on the theme, my best was 40. I liked the momentum mechanic especially. Sometimes it was a bit frustrating when the axe got stuck behind the train, but other than that it was super fun!

Extremely Exteme Sports by kuviman 2022-04-08T01:46:07Z

Really impressed that you were able to incorporate multiplayer into a compo game. Well done! The controls felt very smooth, the audio was nice, and my only suggestion would be to make the start of the races a bit easier.

The Endless Night by Arivenzys 2022-04-08T17:16:26Z

Stunning visuals and great interpretation of the theme!

Don't Touch It! by KirKami 2022-04-04T02:35:54Z

A really cool and funny take on the theme! I absolutely love the different hand animations, especially the way the fingers creep up on the table

Click to Continue by Daniel Foutz 2022-04-07T15:55:50Z

Hilarious! One of the funniest games I've played in a long time.

Battery Low by Milestone Games 2022-04-06T19:28:11Z

Super cool little game! I love the simplicity and graphics. I also thought the sound design was some of the best I've seen so far in this jam. Great work!

Death Is Real. by waffleworksgames 2022-04-04T19:16:51Z

@dreamscale I definitely agree, a slightly longer delay would have been great. Thanks for the feedback!

Death Is Real. by waffleworksgames 2022-04-04T19:19:18Z

@kbf123 I appreciate the input! Yeah, that last level is super tough. I ideally would have wanted to put death a little further back but it would've messed with the pathfinding system, unfortunately. Thanks for playing!

Death Is Real. by waffleworksgames 2022-04-04T19:20:23Z

@david-york Thank you for the kind words! Sorry to hear about the small window. I should have included a fullscreen option to account for higher resolution monitors.

We Need To Talk by Doot 2022-04-07T15:37:42Z

This is awesome! One of the best and most polished entries I've seen so far. The art is amazing, the gameplay is smooth and addictively simple, and the ending was really funny too. Great work!

Highrail to hell by BadPiggy 2022-04-08T17:24:28Z

Great simple game! I like how each level has a different task, especially with the level where you had to get the horde to kill the zombie for you. I'd love to see this idea expanded upon and made into a bigger game!

5 More Minutes by Sam Horner 2022-04-04T02:22:35Z

Nice job! I need to work on my multitasking skills haha

X-1 - A Game About a Robot Shutting Down by Billnotic 2022-04-04T19:30:01Z

Awesome! An impressive amount of polish, especially for a compo game. The controls felt quite smooth. Love the graphics and audio.

Very Long Spell by NotUsername 2022-04-05T16:31:18Z

Awesome! Super polished and really fun gameplay. Love the art too. The lazzer is definitely a bit OP though haha. Well done!

You Are A Bomb by Benjamin Halko 2022-04-05T16:46:57Z

This game is really fun, very simple but very addicting! I appreciate how the player is given the balance of either sacrificing bombs that are too far away or risking getting them at the last second with very little time reward. I managed to get 6:47!

Trash Panic! by Defrag 2022-04-04T16:46:17Z

Really innovative idea! Loved the use of the color wheel, as well as the DIY sound effects. I thought that the ASDF controls were a bit hard to get used to, and using mouse click might feel more comfortable but that's just my opinion!

Somnipathy by Cyzaine 2022-04-08T17:58:21Z

That monster is absolutely terrifying! Great atmosphere and visuals and a really neat take on the theme. The game did freeze on me when I stepped into the hallway from the bedroom, but it could be an issue on my end. (Windows 10, Google Chrome)

Boing & Bonk by Mistafixxa069 2022-04-04T04:23:09Z

Really fun little game! It runs very smoothly and has nice animation. I'd love to see the difficulty get harder the longer you last

Giraffe o'Clock by Kepsert 2022-04-07T16:30:54Z

Beat it! Absolutely loved this one, one of the longest game jam games I've played. Hilarious dialogue, fun minigame, and smooth mechanics. I especially thought the enemy robot mechanic was really clever. The only issue I had was some inconsistency with being able to use my double jump after hanging onto a wall, but overall this was an amazing experience. Good luck on turning it into a full release, I'll keep my eyes out for it!

Delay Dragon by dindotjs 2022-04-04T15:42:34Z

Super challenging but super fun! Love the art, very cute.

Over the Rainbow Bridge by Iguanana 2022-04-04T02:28:12Z

I'm not crying, you're crying :'( Very well done! Love the dog animation

Mr. Second by Marvis 2022-04-05T21:55:44Z

Really neat concept! I love the art style especially. My only complaint is that the platforming felt a bit too tedious/unforgiving at times, but otherwise this is a really excellent game jam game. I'd love to see the idea expanded upon after the jam!

Mr. Second by Marvis 2022-04-05T21:55:45Z

(for some reason my message sent twice. ignore this, sorry!)

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Loop Arena by Chaseplays 2022-10-08T20:43:59Z

Simple but fun! I liked the variety in enemies, nice job!

autoball by torcado 2022-10-05T03:24:54Z

Such a clever concept, and executed wonderfully! I think you managed to design the gameplay in a really satisfying/addictive way. The graphics, while simple, are very pleasing to look at. I could see this being a popular game. Really great entry.

Power Surge 51 by vidarn 2022-10-05T15:06:40Z

Wow! Can't believe this is a compo entry. Very strong entry all around, especially in the visuals. Great work.

Sir Golde and the lair of the Minnowtaur by Knatt 2022-10-18T00:25:30Z

Beat it in 9:31! I really like this take on the theme, the concept of losing your vision every 10 seconds led to a really unique experience and gives the player some interesting choices to make. I also really liked the magnifying glass mechanic, and it was nice that once you had the sword you could permanently remove those pesky spikes. Good job!

Impending Doom of a Thousand Kitties by RalfZ 2022-10-03T19:03:26Z

Adorable! I love the artwork, especially the cat when it's being picked up.

Tenjutsu by deepnight 2022-10-06T02:56:37Z

Super impressive compo entry! The graphics and game feel were top-notch. The concept is really cool too, one of the more original ideas I've seen so far!

Oxylunky by daandruff 2022-10-03T19:16:27Z

The atmosphere of this game is fantastic. Great audio, graphics, and general mood. I'm glad you let the discoveries remain visible on later attempts- it would have been really tedious otherwise. It eventually got kind of frustrating having to reset back to the beginning once I made it far enough, but it looks like you addressed that in the post-jam version with checkpoints which was a really good decision.

Onades by sergilazaro 2022-10-08T21:04:24Z

Nicely polished, and a really fair difficulty curve! I managed to get 50

Game Name by Strega 2022-10-06T02:35:08Z

I accidentally refreshed the page when I was halfway done and I still immediately restarted and beat it all. Hopefully that says enough about how much I enjoyed this! Making a game jam game about making a game jam game is a hilarious idea, and I can't imagine it being executed better than this: fantastic art, sound, gameplay, everything. I loved how the results at the end matched the ludum dare rating system. Probably my favorite entry yet, and hope to see this near the top of the rankings in a few weeks!

Destroy Blocks by mdotedot 2022-10-06T19:04:16Z

Even though it's a simple concept, this was really fun and addicting! Nice job!

Ten-Second Murder by lectvs 2022-10-06T18:57:31Z

Wow! This is a fantastic entry. I can't believe you were able to make such a complete product in such a short time span. I love the character animations especially, it adds so much charm and character. Incredible!

The Sandwicher by Antti Haavikko 2022-10-04T00:37:36Z

Fantastic entry! An incredible amount of polish, especially for a compo entry. The game played incredibly smoothly, the concept was unique, the art and sound were great, and it's particularly impressive that you managed to implement online leaderboards with such a short time span. For some reason it was incredibly satisfying to knock off a huge chunk of enemies when the screen got really full. My only complaint was the movement felt a little unpredictable at times, but other than that this is an amazing entry in every aspect.

Eleventh Second by Jeremy Ryan 2022-10-05T03:38:59Z

Fantastic art, music, and extremely fun gameplay. You definitely managed to nail that certain type of addictiveness through its polish/juice, even if the gameplay isn't that complicated. Also it's pretty awesome that you were able to make a sequel to your previous entry. One of my favorite entries so far!

Fire 'n' Snail by neowhoru 2022-10-06T19:10:05Z

Cool game! I liked how there were a variety of events that can occur every 10 seconds. The art looks really nice as well. Nice job!

10 Second Laps by albertnez 2022-10-03T18:58:03Z

Fun, simple game! The controls are smooth and it plays really well. Nicely done!

Sushi Panic by Delightfullymad 2022-10-03T03:17:28Z

Love it! I got 19. The two things I really liked were 1. how the input codes remained constant between dishes so you could easily remember the combinations, and 2. how you could repair multiple things at once if you were standing close enough to them. Nice job!

Call It A Day by Stenyin 2022-10-04T19:25:06Z

Absolutely amazing art and audio! I also really loved this take on the theme, the gameplay reminded me of Pacman a little. Sometimes clicking on the correct square felt a little tedious, but overall this is one of my favorites I've played so far this jam!

Space Kitten by Renan Felipe 2022-10-06T19:31:45Z

Super fun platformer! The amount of polish you were able to get in such a short time span is incredible, as well as the number of levels. I thought that the level design/pacing was really good; it didn't feel too difficult or too hard, and you gave the player enough time to get used to the new mechanics before you increased the challenge. The graphics are also quite impressive. Fantastic entry!

Renew my Subscription by cassowary 2022-10-08T22:39:57Z

Wow! Super innovative idea!

Power Loop by Martynas 2022-10-14T17:24:22Z

Fun game, the controls feel smooth, the gameplay is juicy and satisfying, and the difficulty curve feels just right. Good work!

Frogwatch by Gunnbju 2022-10-03T23:00:06Z

Love the artstyle!

Holospecter by theStoff 2022-10-08T23:20:20Z

Woah, it's insane that you guys were able to get so much done in 3 days! Basically everything is top-notch, especially the art, but the controls are smooth, the audio is amazing, and the polish is unmatched. Simply incredible work, I managed to beat it!

Starmony by bamberga 2022-10-05T15:18:25Z

Really fun and relaxing game! I really liked the variety in levels, the pinball levels were my favorite. Big fan of the GUI and art too!

Alpaka madness - Every 10 seconds... by RobbzenOne 2022-10-05T18:32:18Z

Super chaotic but super fun! I managed to get 102. I think it would feel even better to play if you increased the fire rate of the long-distance attack as well as the range of the melee attack. When it got super crazy, it sometimes felt too risky to try to attack so running away felt like the best choice, but I still had a great time playing this. Love the cute pixel art as well. Good work!

Flip and Swap by WeAreDev 2022-10-06T02:45:59Z

I'll echo what others have said about the platforming speed, but other than that I really enjoyed this! Cool concept, nice art, and pretty fun overall. Good work!

Opening Knight by GERD 2022-10-04T03:07:44Z

The cinematic was top-notch! Love the general art style/aesthetic

Radar Rider by 3LSTMsInATrenchcoat 2022-10-06T19:15:54Z

Neat idea, and a really cool take on the theme! I think this idea might work even better if the radar only revealed the hazards and the player sprite was visible the entire time, or at least a couple seconds- it sometimes felt like I spent a bit too much time waiting for the radar to reveal me otherwise. Nice work!

Robotbotbot by alpharock6 2022-10-17T18:51:25Z

Beat it (and got the secret ending)! I love this concept, and I thought you guys did a great job exploring the different ways the core mechanics could be used as well including an impressive amount of levels. Speaking of, the level-design was top notch, and I would love to see this concept explored even further with more mechanics!

Robotbotbot by alpharock6 2022-10-18T18:16:08Z

@alpharock6 Hmm, maybe a horizontal dash mechanic or some kind of vertical projectile?

Sweet Seconds by Jag 2022-10-05T02:47:49Z

Really fun take on the theme, and a surprising amount of complexity in the later levels! Really good entry all around. P.S. I love the color pallette, I think I've used the same one in a previous Ludum Dare entry!

Blades of Doom by Benjamin Halko 2022-10-09T03:55:02Z

This was really fun! The art was cohesive, the music was nice, the controls felt smooth, and the game was overall really well polished. I managed to get 1:02. Well done!

Paper Prison by Fifut 2022-10-03T03:30:19Z

Nice one! Cool take on the theme. I love the art, and the menu transitions were a nice touch. Like others said, WASD would have been better than arrow keys in combination with the mouse, but other than that a really solid game.

Making Connections by PostFrog 2022-10-18T02:23:46Z

Cool concept! An impressive amount of content and dialogue, and I love the quirkiness!

Shuffle Hustle by mgmarlow 2022-10-21T19:15:59Z

This game was surprisingly addictive! Admittedly, I'm not the best at word games, but this game made me keep wanting to replay it after I lost. I'm probably gonna play it a few more times after I finish this comment! I really liked that you made it possible to use repeated letters, I think that adds a lot of depth to the game. I'd be interested to see how the gameplay would change if there were six letters instead? Sometimes it felt like there weren't enough possible words in the 5 letters to meaningfully improve the time bank, but maybe I'm just not good enough :P Great work!

RADARE by Cogent.Invalid 2022-10-05T02:35:09Z

Looks simple but has a lot of complexity! Trying to keep track of both sides was quite the challenge and made my brain hurt (in a good way) haha. Nice work!

Turnip Terrace by Jonah_SRG 2022-10-21T19:39:12Z

Really fun game! The game is quite easy to get a grasp of, and the simple controls complement the gameplay nicely. The sound effects are simple but effective. Great work!

Witch in a hurry by hotaloca 2022-10-06T19:21:45Z

Really neat game, the graphics were super charming! I liked the concept of switching up the controls, but sometimes I would forget what they were once the popup disappeared. Other than that a really solid game. Nice job!

LoopTown by Pandamander 2022-10-03T03:04:48Z

Love the art, nice job finishing a game after restarting so late!

Birdwatching by Iguanana 2022-10-08T21:32:41Z

I feel like a bird expert now!

To Catch a Wizard by badcop 2022-10-06T16:19:35Z

I wasn't able to beat the boss, but really fun game! I thought that the rewind animation and fireball explosion particles looked awesome. I think that if you increase the fire rate of the fireball and made it so the green fireball explosion radius doesn't kill you, the boss would feel even more fun and less frustrating. Nice work!

Exp10sion by lynnezzzy 2022-10-05T02:58:02Z

Love the use of the ghost mechanic! There were a few puzzles in there that were really neat, especially those which took 3+ lives to complete. In addition to really strong graphics, I also was impressed with how many levels you guys were able to make. Great entry!

Void Well by Helzinko 2022-10-06T18:46:34Z

Cool concept, and very nicely polished gameplay loop! I love the art too!

Jekyll and Hide by Gangrue 2022-10-03T02:54:52Z

I love this take on the theme! Really good graphics and sound as well. Great work!

10 Second Traffic by Grandblood 2022-10-06T02:39:25Z

Fun, simple game! The sound effects were hilarious, and the modifiers were pretty neat too

Switcheroo by Prologi 2022-10-05T22:58:53Z

Very chaotic but very fun. I really like the pixelated 3D graphics, haven't seen that style used very often but it looks super clean. Nice work!

Tower Boy by Chuckiee 2022-10-17T18:27:26Z

Really nice job sticking to the limitations of the Game Boy! I liked the concept and interpretation of the theme, and I think that there's a ton of potential to be explored here if you keep working on it!

Find the way by Madlen 2022-10-17T18:33:27Z

Congrats on making your first game, that's a huge milestone! I think that choosing a simple concept like this was a great idea for your first game jam (a lot of beginners tend to overscope, I know from experience haha), and other than some collision issues it worked quite well! Keep up the good work!

Not Late, Or Early by ShaunShepherd 2022-10-05T03:09:15Z

I really like the pixel art! The concept of packaging the toys on time was pretty neat. Would love to see some sort of difficulty curve in the future

Run, Slime, Run ! by Dahut 2022-10-03T19:28:29Z

Cute game and in my opinion the perfect length for a jam game! I love the mechanic of using your own corpses to jump higher, and the audio/visuals were really good as well. I see some speedrunning potential with this idea! I managed to get 1:05 on my 3rd attempt.

10 Second Tactics by Klardonics 2022-10-03T18:28:01Z

This is a really clever concept! I appreciated how you could skip the 10-second countdown by clicking the timer, it would have been a bit tedious to wait around for so long otherwise. I hope you keep working on this, I could totally see this idea being expanded upon into something bigger! My one suggestion would be to add some kind of scoring system, it would've been nice to know how well I was performing compared to my previous attempts.

LD53 — Delivery

shape shipper by torcado 2023-05-01T22:58:47Z

What a great game, who knew rotating shapes could be so challenging! Super cool concept, great art, really well polished, and extremely fun to play. It gets really difficult to keep up a few levels in, I kept turning my shapes the wrong way and forgetting the stack order but that adds to the fun. Extremely well done!

Hazard Saviour by sinclairstrange 2023-05-07T17:12:01Z

The scope is insanely impressive, it's so crazy that you were able to make this by yourself in a weekend! If I didn't know, I would've guessed this took months to make. I probably played this game longer than I've played any other game in the jam so far, the map is not only impressively big but well-designed with a great variety of enemies/obstacles. The shop system was great as well, though some of the items seemed a bit overpowered. The graphics are great, the soundtrack is incredible, and the gameplay was really well-made. One of my favorites so far!

Mailman Murphy by silkworm_sweatshop 2023-05-01T04:35:15Z

Awesome game! Totally feels like an old arcade cabinet game. The music is amazing, and the gameplay is quite addicting with a nice amount of challenge. Extremely well done!

A Day In The Life of a Stork by kiguel182 2023-05-01T18:14:59Z

I managed to get 9! Fun game :) I like how the destinations get further away the more babies you deliver, it adds a nice difficulty curve

Inbox Fool by 100th_Coin 2023-05-01T22:25:43Z

Beat it! I really enjoyed this, the main mechanic is really creative, I'd love to see it explored a bit more in the future! The dialogue is hilarious, and the music was great. The boss fight music made me chuckle. The boss fight itself was a really cool twist on the mechanic as well. Great job!

Holding Out by Jeremy Ryan 2023-05-01T21:25:36Z

Great entry! Beat it on my 2nd try. The concept is clever, the dialogue is hilarious, the art is adorable, and the music is fitting. Awesome job!

Beelivery by Jejkobb 2023-05-13T17:48:48Z

What a fantastic entry! The art is superb, the music is some of the best I've heard this jam (Let it bee is incredible), and the gameplay is simple yet hard to master. The physics work great and the difficulty feels just right. I only wish it was just a bit longer, but this is one of my favorite entries for sure.

Spuggy's Pizza Delivery by BayouSoftware 2023-05-01T03:56:45Z

Strangely addicting! The turn radius felt a bit too wide but everything else worked quite well, I love the slam noise haha

Too Hot to Hendl by Fis 2023-05-09T18:23:20Z

Nice work! I managed to beat all 15 levels. I loved the art and overall mood, and the gameplay was easy to understand and had a nice difficulty progression. My only complaint is that the levels where certain platforms/items were hidden felt a little bit tedious, but nothing too bad. Great job!

Maily Melo by Blix 2023-05-08T23:06:07Z

Super cute! Love the graphics, and the letters are funny and charming. The whole game just feels very cozy. Great work!

Snapdash by caeonosphere 2023-05-01T05:05:42Z

Really cool idea and you pulled it off well! I managed to get 4800.

The Pigeon Post Principle by cassowary 2023-05-08T22:45:47Z

Incredible! The puzzles were really well made, and the difficulty curve was perfect. The graphics are charming, the music is great (love the sax), and the game is the perfect difficulty: the puzzles stump you at first but you always feel like you're making progress. No complaints from me, easily one of my favorite compo games so far. Great work!

Deliver to Whence you Came by JUSTCAMH 2023-05-03T20:24:09Z

This game just has an incredible atmosphere. The gameplay is unique, and the kicking mechanic felt great. The luring mechanic was challenging to fully grasp, but it's one of the coolest mechanics I've encountered this jam. Love the art and overall mood. Excellent work!

Warmazon by Kaish 2023-05-10T23:10:13Z

Love this interpretation of the theme! Also the concept is hilarious. The game is really fun, cool to see a bullet hell in this jam and you found a nice level of difficulty. The powerups make it so it isn't *too* frustrating as well as giving the game more depth. Well done!

AstroParcel by Martynas 2023-05-01T05:14:19Z

Super challenging but in a really fun way! As hard as they are to master, the controls feel quite smooth. Great work!

Bomb Express by MoebiusMeow 2023-05-01T23:17:37Z

Really cool game! The concept was really clever, the physics felt good, and the art was great. I wasn't really picking up any good strategies so the most effective strategy for me was to just spam haha. I made it to level 9 before my spamming skills were ineffective. Great work!

Pizza Slingshot by waffleworksgames 2023-05-01T14:39:02Z

@mikoziq @rendow sorry about the cursor issues! It seems to only be an issue on the HTML5 version, and I unfortunately wasn’t able to find a workaround. The windows build shouldn’t have that issue though!

Pizza Slingshot by waffleworksgames 2023-05-01T18:02:09Z

@tasakasama sorry to hear you got stuck! Here's a complete playthrough video that might be able to help you get past it :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Hw20c50Qmo

Pizza Slingshot by waffleworksgames 2023-05-01T20:46:08Z

@100th-coin thanks for the video and impressive that you were able to beat the whole thing! To answer your question about why some levels have more pizzas than required, it’s partly so that you don’t have to wait as long between shots, but it also makes it so one miss in a level with multiple customers doesn’t automatically end your try, such as in the 2nd to last level. Sorry about the issues with dragging the cursor off the screen, it seems to just be a problem with HTML5 unfortunately :(

Thanks again for playing, it was a pleasure to watch!

Airborne Deliveries by Rendow 2023-05-01T04:50:43Z

Beat it in 8:09! What an awesome mechanic. I had a ton of fun with this, excellent work!

Great work! The controls are really intuitive and the gameplay is really creative. I like how there's the challenge of navigating around forests/mountains. The graphics and audio are also solid. I had some trouble finding certain resources on the map, so some more indication there would be helpful. Very well done!

30 Minutes Or Your Potion's Free by Rustywolf 2023-05-01T18:46:15Z

Impressive that you were able to make a cohesive deck-builder in 48 hours! Great work!

Pizza Puzzle by Paroxysmal 2023-05-01T03:20:38Z

Beat it! I love the gameboy style, some of the jumps on the last level felt a bit tedious but other than that great work!

Crystallium by MikoziQ 2023-05-01T18:35:53Z

Really fun! I managed to get 46 packages delivered before it got too fast for me haha. The whole game felt really well-packaged, and the visuals felt really cohesive. I could totally see this being a mobile game in the future. Great work!

Baby Juggling by BridgeOnAStick 2023-05-01T23:30:40Z

This is really fun! The scoring multiplier system was really cool, the best I managed to get was 14.1x. I'd love to see this game with a lose condition, so that way the player has to manage the risk of doing risky juggles versus playing it safe for fewer points. Nicely done!

In Defense of Pickles by Mavvy 2023-05-01T04:40:21Z

Super fun! Very nice visuals and the melee attack felt really clean. Nice work!

Purrfect Delivery by Mashiro 2023-05-08T23:29:54Z

Loved it! The desktop presentation was a great touch, and the gameplay was hilarious. Sometimes I hesitated closing the pop-ups because I wanted to read them instead haha. Great art, solid music, and some of the levels were extremely challenging but I managed to beat them all! Great work everyone!

Stork Exchange by Payaosito 2023-05-01T04:20:03Z

Fun game! Really understandable to play but not as easy as I was expecting. I liked the pattern matching system, I'd be curious to see what it would be like with some sort of timer system

Apocalypse Prime by ADerpyChickenStudios 2023-05-07T16:10:09Z

Loved the premise and dialogue. The gameplay was easy to understand, and the map was well-designed with a nice variety of obstacles. Well done!

Super Pizza Kid by CaliceDev 2023-05-01T22:34:49Z

Beat it! Very fun platformer with a nice feel to the movement. Love the retro style. I had some volume inconsistencies with the sound effects, but other than that nice work!

Ultimate Package by Triangle Point 2023-05-02T02:17:11Z

Well done! The storyline was really charming, and the gameplay was a nice difficulty level. I liked the art too. I did have some issues with the camera movement and so some of the evil packages surprised me when I changed screens :P Really nice entry overall!

Mt. Deliverest by QwillaK 2023-05-02T00:40:08Z

Super challenging but fun game! I only barely managed to get past the first level, and after that I just could not get past the windstorm because no matter what a boulder would always fall on top of me. In general I think the warning time for the falling boulders/avalanche was too quick, I found myself unable to move out of the way in time in most cases. Other than that, this is a really great game. The climbing mechanics themself feel really good (though sometimes the screen scrolling made it easy to miss a grab), and with a few balance tweaks this could be a full product. Nicely done!

Buccaneer Mail co. by ChanceA 2023-05-03T20:03:35Z

Great art and fantastic music! The camera work felt great, and the overall atmosphere of the game was incredible. I do wish there was a bit more to do gameplay-wise because it got a bit repetitive after a while. It maybe would have been cool if you could throw the bombs onto the enemy ships? Awesome work overall, would totally play an extended version after the jam!

The Stork Purrsuit by FrancoisGoret 2023-05-02T00:16:35Z

Super cute! It took me a second to understand the gameplay, but once it clicked it made a lot of sense and I really enjoyed the gameplay! You guys did a nice job introducing the new mechanics at a good pace. I managed to beat all nine levels, great work!

Delivery Boy by waptaincaffles 2023-05-03T04:29:55Z

Nicely done! A bit hectic at first, but easy to get the hang of after a couple tries. You definitely managed to capture the stressfulness of a crappy delivery job haha. My best was $2,563. The dialogue was funny and you introduced the game well, and the gameplay felt good. My one suggestion would be to move the navigation arrow closer to the player, because it was a bit inconvenient to try to look over at where to go while you're moving around. Overall great work!

Tracks 'n Bandits: Haulin' Cargo by Terquey 2023-05-09T18:32:35Z

Nice work! I loved the art and desert-y color palette. The gameplay was fun albeit a bit too easy. The audio matched the style really well. Great job!

Sendburg Delivery Service by Bukaanka 2023-05-13T18:05:17Z

Really nice puzzle game! The gameplay is simple and relaxing but also quite addicting. The graphics and audio compliment the game nicely. Well done!

Micromanager by ZombieWalrus 2023-05-13T18:21:07Z

Really neat idea! Gameplay fits the theme nicely, but I wasn't able to beat it unfortunately. I really liked the maze feel, the art was cute, and the upgrades were a nice addition, though it became a bit difficult to navigate the maze once the speed was maxed out. I think another minute or so on the timer would have helped me a ton. Well done!

Deadly Delivery Dash by PotatoCouch 2023-05-02T02:01:01Z

The movement/shooting mechanic felt great! The slo-mo while aiming was really helpful too. I wish the enemy bullets were easier to see and maybe a bit less frequent, but the gameplay is really addicting, nicely done!

Package Delivery by Fire Steam Studio 2023-05-07T16:20:57Z

Fun, relaxing gameplay and nice atmosphere! I like the pixel art and you fit the theme nicely. Some of the characters were a bit hard to find but that's a pretty small issue. Nice work!

Pack It Up by thomaspixelart 2023-05-09T17:41:38Z

I love it! Easily some of the most fun I've had with any LD game this jam. The graphics are great, the sound is great, the single-input gameplay is incredibly fun yet challenging, but didn't feel unfair at all with the checkpoint system. The difficulty progression was also well-made. Fantastic work!
