Lots of mechanical depth to this one! I like that you explored the mechanics pretty thoroughly in the levels; there were some nice little puzzles to solve and routes to figure out. Aiming the mail was a little tricky, although the targeting line did help a little. Also, there's some nice polish here that could be easy to overlook- I loved how the mailboxes bounced a bit after making a delivery! I also really liked that you always had the correct amount of mail for the mailboxes, and that factored into how many 'mail jumps' you could do! Overall, an excellent mechanics-forward bite-sized entry, nice work.
Hey, nice game! At first I didn't understood that I could propel myself with the newspapers, but soon enought I figured it out. Also, I didn't knew I could jump, but found it out soon enough as well! I enjoyed the gameplay , it is well polished and enjoyable, and I found no bugs. The music is a bit repetitive, but it's really nice that the game allows you to speedrun it, offering multiple paths and shortcuts.
After two playthroughs I got a 4:2:75 🙂

@hacksawunit @delta-key @waffleworksgames
Thanks for the great feedback! It's good to know what works and what I should improve on in upcoming jams, like the music.
Looking forward to playing your games! :smiley:
I had a lot of fun playing this. I love the core mechanics, the level design is great, and it feels very polished. And just the right amount of difficulty for me.
Pretty fun game, though I got stuck on one of the levels (see pic). Not sure what I was supposed to do or if I just have to keep trying to jump/throw the mail up the crack.

@tumblingpuffin Thank you for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@tumblingpuffin That is unfortunate, you are not the only one who didn't notice the launching mechanic (throw paper down while in the air to launch yourself in opposite direction), so I should have made the mechanic much more clear. Thank you for giving it a shot and giving me stuff to think about in upcoming jams!
same as @theartifacts this game is cool, and art was nice but i'm block at the same point, need some tutorials.
Pretty clever game, I really liked it!
Fun game! using the momentum of throwing the papers down to go further up feels pretty good, but it's a bit inconsistent with the direction you are throwing. It feels like you need to throw straight down or else you go a bit to the left or right, which for smaller gaps is a bit rough. I think the GIF on the page showed me the instructions instead of the game though. Nice mechanics, Good job!
That was really fun with some clever platformer challenges. Played it for quite a while but went somewhere I wasn't supposed to and ended up in the endless void :sweat_smile:.
Fun game, the movement felt a bit clunky sometimes, but overall felt good. The art is simple but nice. The music could use some work, but the sound effects sound good serve their purpose well.
I got stuck at the same point as @theartifacts and @tasakasama but then I figured it out and my mind was blown. It's a really cool mechanic! Maybe a little more hinting will help. The game was super fun and I made it all the way to the end. The controls are original and intuitive.

That was fun and quite challenging. Visual aesthetic was cool and concise. It took me a minute to figure out the mail jumping but it was fun to explore it once I did. Made it to the end at 4:38:32 after getting the hang of it. Well done!
I really think the mechanic was fun! Smart idea to have the "speedrun" timer. The level design can feel a bit messy at times, but there's still some fun levels. The art is also simple, but good too! Compo games are always impressive.

Fun and challenging, especially since you couldn't always see the little circle things. A neat take on the theme too, and an interesting mechanic. That last level took me a while. I did get stuck falling in the infinite void at one point though.
That's a really solid game. I can see the potential for some nice speed run tricks. Good job!
