The Giggle Pit by jelch 2023-05-07T14:28:29Z

Innovative concept and it was interesting to see that messing up the click meant the guy messed up the joke. It's like a rhythm game without any rhythm. Fun to play though. But uhh... don't quit your day job to become a standup comedian.

TrainTrackTrouble by dikkop 2023-05-19T00:55:29Z

Very polished and atmospheric game and the main game loop is quite fun to play. But it's not very forgiving- you're highly likely (or at least I am) to not notice the piles of rocks in time, especially since it's so dark, or not be able to escape the cannon-shaped things. I could usually get past the first two "levels" eventually but not substantially further. Would be good to have some way to restore health- a gear that you could grab, maybe?

Don't read all about it! by ThaProfesional 2023-05-04T00:25:12Z

Cute idea. I like the dog sprite and the parts in the music where the dog barks and growls along. The bush is very in the way and also sometimes the dog dies on start, but those aren't major issues.

A Town in Labor by EvoGenGames 2023-05-07T15:27:03Z

A game in Excel! :O And without macros, no less. As someone who works with Excel a lot, nice job.

Fun puzzle game. I had to cheat on the second puzzle, because I didn't realize something about that one, but the rest I figured out with a bit of effort but pretty easily. The difficulty was mostly in how the houses propagated, especially for that last one where I was legit parsing through Excel formulas. The pixel-art-by-Excel-cells houses on the front page is neat.

My scores: 100%, (100%), 109%, 125%, and 106%.

Witchcraft Starter Kit by Belea 2023-05-04T00:38:40Z

Well, that was dark. I love it! Innovative way to tell a story through recipes, and the art is quite well done.

Baby Boom by Whirlwind 2023-05-02T05:45:40Z

- This is a neat game, I love the concept. Rhythm games are fun even if I have no rhythm, and definitely didn't expect to see that given the prompt. - Music is pretty good too, well done on that. Graphics too. - Challenging to know where to send the babies with enough time. 9 keys to keep track of is a lot. And that last song is brutal. (I feel like the KeyHelper might make the game harder) - It wasn't all that obvious when the buttons needed to be pushed at first, because it's not "when the babies are on the launchpad", but I figured it out eventually

Overall a lot of fun!

gold_delivery by fabonacci 2023-05-16T03:42:15Z

I probably should have read the description better, it took me way too many tries to learn that I wasn't supposed to be knocking over the cart to get the gold in it. Would have been nice to have friendly fire disabled for that, too. Also seconding that it's hard to tell when you're hitting enemies or how many times you need to hit them. I got to the first big level (level 3? 4?) before I stopped. For a 3d game in 48 hours, this is decent work, and has potential, but there's a lot of improvements that could be made!

Flingshot by John Gabriel 2023-05-02T01:55:38Z

- Cute concept, and I loved the messages - Wasn't entirely clear if it mattered if I ejected the packages from the vans - A little challenging to aim but I got the hang of it

Bundle Dumper: Florida Edition by cheesepencil 2023-05-16T19:30:25Z

Fun, challenging game. Took me a while but I beat it- 15 minutes and something. Mechanics are pretty smooth for the most part, graphics are quite good for the medium's limitations. Albeit very gory.

That said, this is why I don't live in Florida.

Robin Hood Christmas by cavedens 2023-05-16T03:27:51Z

It's an interesting concept, but as others mentioned the camera made it very challenging to play. And it would be nice if the guards didn't follow so long. Given the time restriction this is decently smooth for 48 hours though. (I got 5 presents at my max, but I only got that many because I figured out I could clip through walls.)

Airdrop by Quinn_Patrick 2023-05-02T01:45:33Z

Cute game, I liked the messages. Easy to play in a good way, it felt possible to win even when I failed at some of the later levels the first time.

Airborne Deliveries by Rendow 2023-05-02T06:37:47Z

Fun and challenging, especially since you couldn't always see the little circle things. A neat take on the theme too, and an interesting mechanic. That last level took me a while. I did get stuck falling in the infinite void at one point though.

Deliver Them From Sin by ugly_robot 2023-05-05T02:21:40Z

Interesting concept! Mechanics are interesting as well. It's a little too easy to just mess up in my opinion, and it would be nice to be able to cancel some of the longer actions. But I managed to beat it eventually so those are just nitpicks. Pulled off the creepy-weird sounds for the demon well too.

I'm not sure I get what's going on though hahah

INTACTâ„¢ by pierogo 2023-05-16T03:10:32Z

I love the idea, and the dialogue is great. Very challenging- took me many, many tries to beat the last level. I especially liked how the levels kept adding the new elements that you delivered. I did get a segfault once, but I'm guessing that's Godot's fault.

Duck and also Fire by Cogent.Invalid 2023-05-05T04:21:52Z

Fun little game with a neat concept. Was very challenging to try to protect the eggs while also carrying over as many acorns as I could for the next level's squirrel. Once I bought all of the upgrades it got pretty easy though. (Also runs decently on Wine.)

Treats Inbound by rickylee 2023-05-02T06:15:24Z

Decently fun, and a unique idea. It wasn't obvious on the first run what was good and what wasn't but I figured it out pretty quick. Didn't always feel possible to avoid the dangers if I were in the wrong place though.

demaker.s game by Kent Lizardo 2023-05-02T01:51:49Z

Interesting aesthetic concept with looking through the game devices. Controls were challenging, especially at first (not being able to strafe or look up was difficult and it took me quite some time to figure out I could look around at all (before which time I was in an infinite loop of dying)). I mostly threw myself at it until I won, especially since I couldn't damage them when they were looking away. Text typing sounds got a little repetitive after a while.

Commutator by Sodoj 2023-05-16T22:32:15Z

I'm impressed by the idea and execution. I don't think I've seen a game in Paint before. Seems to run... mostly okay? The dots didn't show up on my computer but apparently I don't need them to play passable Snake. Otherwise ran fine. Definitely a creative medium.

Commutator by Sodoj 2023-05-17T02:54:01Z

@sodoj I used the source Python, standard version. The computer that I used for it was 64-bit Windows 10 Enterprise 19044.1415, monitor 1920x1080 resolution and 14-inch laptop screen.

Commutator by Sodoj 2023-05-19T00:13:54Z

@sodoj didn't fix the problem unfortunately! I'm guessing that it didn't have the pencil tool selected or something like that. Seemed like it had a lot of other QOL features though.

Also when I looked through the code it looked like you quit the game if the player has the wrong language- you might want to default to English instead.

Temporal Messenger by Papaya 2023-05-04T01:02:04Z

Very sweet story! I loved the ending. I think all of us wish we could have sent messages to our past selves. And the art style is great. The English could use some review, and it didn't seem like the ending changed based on which selection I made (or maybe I misclicked?). But those are minor nitpicks. I'm amused by the comment about his past self looking so different when they look almost the same.

Reincarnation Express by Xlores Liang 2023-05-05T01:50:33Z

I like it! Inez was my favorite. Although I definitely didn't get the subtext until I translated the spoilers. I would have liked more to the endings, as well. Art style is excellent even if AI generated. Was a little tedious to get all four endings especially with space restarting. Themes were great though, I like games focusing on those themes.

Seagullarity by torte478 2023-05-11T02:26:30Z

Stressful, but fun once I got the hang of it. Good vibe, solid execution. I like how the big seagull says hi. Total score: 210 (although I redid the first round a few times)

Delivery Man by the3rdHunter 2023-05-02T06:00:05Z

This was a pretty fun game. Graphics were some of the better 1-bit graphics I've seen, and music was pretty good too. Controlling the character felt pretty easy and smooth. There were some minor typographical issues in a few places though.

Witch's Familiar by Nion 2023-05-05T03:24:47Z

I love the art. The art is REALLY good. A neat little puzzle game, although not all that difficult. Especially impressive for the Compo, nice job. Very smooth gameplay too for the most part. Honestly you could turn this into a full game if you wanted.

Deliveride by kierogi 2023-05-04T23:02:12Z

Not bad! Relaxing music and art style. Pretty easy to avoid the rocks if you're not going at max speed. The levels could have been a little shorter though- they seemed to drag on, especially once there were no more obstacles to avoid (which wasn't obvious).

Slalom Pizza Delivery Service by SpeakWithPlants 2023-05-02T05:20:25Z

- Cute game, excellent graphics - Mechanics feel right, good job with that - Challenging for me because I'm incompetent at it, high scores were a 295 and a 210 but I think those were flukes because I spent most of every game hovering at 0 points even once I knew what to do

Entrega by dysleixc 2023-05-07T14:10:56Z

Mechanics were a little confusing, but the info on this page resolved that. Once I figured it out it was pretty fun and a little addictive! Hard to tell how well I'm doing though, and balance could have been better.

Isles Express by Cinterre 2023-05-02T01:54:21Z

- Graphics were more low-res than I usually like but they were well done for low-res. Audio too. - Control scheme was very challenging, I was starting to figure it out at the end but still very challenging (remind me never to drive a boat).

Two For Flinching by SoulReviews 2023-05-02T01:57:02Z

- Gravitational mechanics are always neat to see - Sometimes a package gets stuck at the edge of the solar system for a while while your camera follows it, although in both cases it did hit a planet eventually (in one case, it was even the one I was trying to hit) - I like the ending!

Deli's Whale Delivery by theguy 2023-05-02T01:58:50Z

- I like the space whale concept, that was neat - good art style & music & sound design - not easy to stay alive and also not sick (I didn't get higher than 2 days even once I figured out how to not die day 1) - takes a while to restart the game when you die
