LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Fish Fists by BBApps 2021-05-02T02:00:37Z

Firstly, I can confirm that the Linux build works. The game has really nice graphics and great music. Gameplay could use some variety and imo the game could be a bit shorter, but overall it's quite fun. Also, I dig the ending, and the fish guide in the menu is a GREAT addition, I loved it.

DEPTHS OF THE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX by pierogo 2021-04-28T11:43:11Z

@kszaku Thank you! I 100% agree that a PS1 shader would fit the game well, but @lisek-gagatek was against it and in the end we didn't add it. Now that we're post-jam I might just try and add it myself :smirk_cat:

(also cool to see a fellow Pole here! :flag_pl:)

LD49 — Unstable

Stylish Aeroplane Dress 'Em Up by Happy 2021-10-05T01:50:29Z

Very nice game - kudos for the idea and the very good execution. The gameplay flow seems to be well-thought-out (or balanced, eyyy pun intended) as well. Also great job with the visuals, that river-ish animated background works perfectly with the retro style.

I'd love to see this expanded!

Unfabled by Kwiper 2021-10-05T00:47:46Z

Really nice game! Good graphics, with gameplay that's simple yet unique, and with a spot-on difficulty slope.

Also I love the sounds the wizard makes while casting spells!

Morning After by Martta 2021-10-05T12:40:58Z

Nice visuals, I love PS1 style graphics and they work super nicely with the sound design you went for. I found the doors to be quite hard to drag sometimes but I guess it works given the situation our poor hero is in. Uncapped vertical camera movement is a nice touch that adds to the feeling of being hungover. Also, the voice acting is spot-on, `humor++`! :D

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Somnum Exterreri by DylanPiserchia 2022-04-06T23:28:58Z

Had me hyped up at the beginning with its nice graphics and sound design, and the overall tone is really good too. Unfortunately despite that I think it's very lacking on the gameplay side - it gets repetitive too fast. Looks like with some more time you could do something really interesting!

Cosmic Castaway by Perrin 2022-04-07T22:46:46Z

Presentation and gameplay-wise it was really good though, the inspiration from old adventure games is strong and it works well. The story is intriguing although I didn't manage to experience it until its end - the puzzles were too difficult for me hah. Nice throwback with those retro controls too!

Herbert vs Homework by Str8griz 2022-04-06T23:35:53Z

Very fun small game. It could use more types of enemies and waves (and maybe a visible crosshair!) but gameplay-wise it was solid and enjoyable. The intro music hurt my ears, but in-game the visuals, sounds and music were all nice and coherent. Quite good overall!

AMBROSIA by pierogo 2022-04-06T14:23:05Z

@real-flamingicecubegames

Thanks for the kind words! Especially the comparison to Amnesia :smile_cat:

And yeah, the radio thing is a last minute bug we didn't notice. We'll get a bugfix release for that up soon

AMBROSIA by pierogo 2022-04-09T18:37:01Z

@benjamin-humes Ouch, sorry for that. A pause menu was on our backlog but we didn't manage to squeeze it in because of some last-minute issues. If you progressed at least a few minutes into the game you should hit an autosave spot though - then you can use the Continue option in the main menu.

Great Escape by Martinek 2022-04-08T15:07:38Z

Simple and cute!!

Nice music and graphics. wish the socks made some sounds themselves when picking up and dropping them. Can't say much more because it's a very simple game, hah. Good entry overall!

Impending Darkness by Kita 2022-04-07T22:21:44Z

If this were expanded upon a little and released on Steam I'd definitely get it.

Graphics, audio design and gameplay were all nice and coherent, and oh boy the gameplay - great idea!

Doomsday by TheGoodHunter 2022-04-07T22:00:49Z

Nice! I love the overall mood, graphics and audio are great too. Gameplay is very simple but the twist makes up for it.

That file size though!

Say No to Goblin! by Cosmicallity 2022-04-07T22:12:05Z

i have stomped on all the crops 10/10

It was a fun little thing, the silly graphics have their charm and overall it was entertaining to play.

Sad there aren't some more things to do though, nor a proper ending - I think those would really wrap the game up.

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Temple of the lost Mask by Timbaleek 2022-10-05T21:15:55Z

Good job with the graphics and sound, while the music gets repetitive quickly it fits the temple theme very well. Gameplay was simple but I had fun playing for 10 rounds before I got blasted to pieces. If there were more weapons and enemies available I'd gladly play some more.

Knives are the best by the way!!

Grandma's Groceries by chelC 2022-10-05T21:41:15Z

Amazing artwork and very fitting, cozy sounds (both music and sfx). I also enjoyed all the little jokes very much - the gameplay is very simple and would quickly get boring by itself, but grandma's wacky dialogue makes up for it lol

STORQ3000 by pierogo 2022-10-05T15:28:39Z

@ugghmaster Thanks! The game was made on three Linux PCs so let's say a tux build was a high priority for us :cat:

STORQ3000 by pierogo 2022-10-05T15:33:49Z

@aderpychickenstudios @limoncello Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, we've initially planned for shooting at things to be a much bigger thing in the game (as you can see from the not very useful crosshairs), but we overdid it a little bit with the overall scope and had to cut some corners

LD53 — Delivery

Escape The Delivery by StefanHolst 2023-05-03T02:18:39Z

The game said Get Out If You Can... and I couldn't get out :( That said, I adore such TUI-based gameplay, wish the character would move a bit faster though. Huge kudos for preparing a Linux build! :penguin:

Flight Dispatch by Fedora 2023-05-03T02:39:26Z

Really impressive visuals and sound design, and my type of humor as well! You turned a very simple concept into something highly enjoyable. I loved how chaotic moving around the desktop could get (Papers Please vibes), and the Slack-like notifications were what really sold it to me as a true workday experience, hah. The only thing I really missed was a history of previously used commands in the terminal. Anyway, that's a great entry!

INTACTâ„¢ by pierogo 2023-05-05T15:29:56Z

@kyyrozu Thank you! I'm especially proud of those little dialogues so it's super nice to hear you enjoyed them :D

About your issues with the dash mechanic, yeah, post-mortem we think that we shouldn't have made the dash length dependent on player speed - because of that whenever you receive damage (and thus are slowed down) you're way less likely to "make" your next dash. Makes it easy to get stuck when attempting to do multiple dashes through pits with spikes, especially considering our package collision detection with walls could've used some more work.Unfortunately there's only so much we could do in 72 hours :cat:

Darby's Delivery Service by tvyas 2023-05-03T18:39:55Z

Fun little game! I have to admit I had way more fun with it than I expected from such a simple concept. Graphics are nice and coherent, and work well with the audio, creating a very cozy atmosphere. Like some people above I struggled a bit with determining which letter goes where. Also I think it'd be great if there was a visual indication of which mailbox I'm currently hovering over, it's sometimes hard to tell when they're overlapping. Anyway, very nice game and a job well done :cat:

LD55 — Summoning

Nekomancer by R3igZyr 2024-04-17T18:49:58Z

Wish there was more to do, in its current state the game is quite lacking gameplay-wise. BUT it's super cute, I LOVE the ghost cats, and the music is a banger. With more variety of cats and enemies this could be really cool to play as a chill mobile title.

Kitty Conjurer by Tyler Slabinski 2024-04-17T23:39:22Z

Interesting! Not exactly my thing genre-wise, but it is an innovative approach to the theme, with fitting graphics and some nice and cozy music, and props for using Godot! It would be nice if there was a fast forward button, but I understand it'd kind of counter the whole vibe you're setting.

Demon Keys by JulienLussiez 2024-04-21T03:05:47Z

of course it's super simple but for just one day it's very cool - ultra cute graphics and sounds, catchy tune, the ceritified addicting helldivers minigame gameplay - it's got it all :sunglasses::thumbsup:

Decades And Dragons by Ein 2024-04-17T17:45:00Z

Nice little sokoban-like title. I was very positively surprised by the overall vibe - graphics, sounds and UX are top notch and fit well together. The gameplay itself is simple but the game isn't long so it doesn't get boring. I really like the tiny details you added - those small reaction boxes after rescheduling something, and of course the ability to take a sip from the mug.

Oh, also a big plus for adding the intro texts for every puzzle and the "epilogue". It's all super relatable hah.

Parsley by Wouter52 2024-04-17T19:08:12Z

Fun small game, the visuals, sounds and overall feeling of controlling the cat remind me of classics such as Alex the Alligator 4 or Happyland Adventures. It was simple but ey, I really had fun playing this one.

The timer caught me off-guard, but I guess that's how it is when you're a cat - minding your own cat business when suddenly the human puts out the crumchies, gotta ZOOM!

First Time Summoning by TheGamer 2024-04-17T23:59:07Z

Another Godot game, wahoo! Graphics are coherent and create a nice aesthetic, the gathering animation and sound feel good and give the game that addictive clicker-like zing. I think there's a lot of possibilities in incorporating some kind of automation mechanics to it. Also, I think I'm missing something - I got everything from the summoning shop yet it doesn't seem like there's anything to do in the topmost part of the map. Should I be able to summon the demon somehow?

BTW I agree with the comment above - the Moon should definitely be interactable :D

⸸ INVERSIO NEGOTIUM ⸸ by pierogo 2024-04-21T15:51:01Z

@ategon oh I didn't know you played for the second time! that's awesome, thanks for the link :D

And, again, super glad you liked it hah

summon that star manz by Liole 2024-04-17T18:11:34Z

star manz summoned.

i wish there was more star manz to summon

Soul Pact by SesMiRe 2024-04-17T18:40:19Z

Hmm, I can't seem to get past the main menu - I can see it and hear the music, but there's no cursor.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

The Big Battle for Tiny Mouse City by Gametrodon 2024-10-12T12:52:10Z

The custom art is very cute (although the dialogue avatar of the cat scares me) and music matches the mood. Unfortunately gameplay-wise it's not very good, maps lack detail and just mashing Attack and equipping whatever you find is enough to get through all fights. But hey, the puns make up for it - I had fun and that's what counts!

So sad we didn't get to see the alchemist doing alchemy :(

Fun fact, our game has a character named Biggie Cheese. Possibly some distant relative of Big Cheese? :eyes:

LD57 — Depths

Departments of Depth Corp. by reivilibre 2025-04-09T23:04:07Z

I really liked it, exactly my type of humor (the sideways desk, \*chef's kiss\*) yet I'm ashamed to say the depths of the office consumed me and I didn't manage to finish playing it - got lost for a really long time near the department of managers and gave up. Still, I adore this game. Great job!

Also, the ambient sound is just perfect!

Sinking Hope by NuiN 2025-04-13T19:51:05Z

The atmosphere is absolutely off the charts, giving off Iron Lung and SOMA vibes for me. Very fitting graphics style, great use of particles and perfect sound effects - all of those fit so well together I felt like I was playing a much bigger game than this.

Not so sure about the gameplay though - I didn't manage to find any pieces in the 15 minutes I put into this game, not sure why - I was constantly checking the radar but to no avail. The few jumpscares I stumbled upon were very nice though.

Dante's Mini-Golf by braktheman 2025-04-09T23:43:41Z

Made it to level 3 and it was fun but I won't lie, the difficulty alongside punishing resets made me quit afterwards. But I knew what I was going into and I really appreciate what I've seen!

The ball physics are satisfying, and the visuals - as simple as they might be - do the job and remind me of indies-before-indies on niche game dev forums circa 2008. That's a compliment, I swear! :smiley_cat:

Deep Chat by iphelf 2025-04-08T10:14:01Z

A nice and very unique concept indeed, good sound design and VERY polished graphics (bonus points for cuteness) - but I wish there was more to it! More gimmicks like the connected emotions thing would be great too. High notes regardless, great job!

Frank of the Abyss by WeGlove 2025-04-13T20:03:01Z

What a journey! The laughs, the tears, the blood! The moment I learned the Kundendaten USB stick had no backup, immersion went through the roof - I knew the game was NOT going to be ducking around. And the Abyss Entity, oh the Abyss Entity...

For real though, I had tons of fun with this game. Love the humor and the crudest amogus drawings known to man. Some matching music would be nice, but well you can't have everything. Btw, thanks for including a Linux build!

Egg Rescue: Detective by jetaimais 2025-04-09T23:57:44Z

Beautiful art, and oh what a wonderful (albeit drunk) doggy. I very much enjoyed this one, but I'd love some more gameplay - the zooming/panning mechanic alongside those great parallax backgrounds really felt like a setup for something bigger gameplay-wise hah.

Still, given the timeframe, this is VERY impressive (and VERY VERY cute) - great job folks!

LD58 — Collector

Talla and the Tomb of the Takers by ryusui 2025-10-14T17:47:36Z

A really polished entry! The traps were cool the first few times but more types of them would help tremendously (both gameplay- and visual-wise). Graphics are very fitting and well animated, including some things I wouldn't expect to be animated, ekhm :eyes: Sound effects and music while really good quickly get repetitive, particularly for the whole duration of any "get trapped - fight the trap - get back to regular gameplay" loop, but that's just nitpicking - overall, a great game, but definitely could use some work in the difficulty department, as right of now it's just too easy.

POND SWARM by pierogo 2025-10-12T20:34:11Z

@helicule me and @lisek-gagatek are Colemak gamers so we understand the struggle! and thank you for the kind words!

Mars Rovers by Blazerker 2025-10-14T17:16:54Z

Wow, this is very complete - I didn't get through the whole thing but I had a lot of fun in the few levels I've completed! Nice graphics I got a Colobot feel from, fitting sounds, and most importantly engaging and just nice to play.

What I'd love to see is a fast forward option, as it was very tedious to get things done sometimes, and some funky sci-fi ambient in the background would've been great.

Overall, great entry!
