I really liked the level design and the music. I finished the game and I wanted more levels. We did a very similar game during this jam, the gameplay mechanic is the same but the mood is totally different. It's funny how many people thought about sacrificing the character during this LD.
Thanks for all the comments. We will probably take 2 or 3 days to make a better version after the jam is over. More levels, better art and better physics.

Your game fits the theme pretty well with a direct reference "Your life is my currency, sorry". I would have liked an ending to end the story that starts at the beginning and more levels. There's something interesing about this concept like a puzzle/stealth game.
I'm dead-dead but I didn't do evil things...that's something. I regret killing some monsters. Maybe there is an alternate ending if I keep running away from the fight. Great writing, it was entairtaining and funny. I like that sometimes we have choices that leads to nothing like using the teleporter, it's a great way to engage the player. Thanks.

I tried the game but I was stuck in room 3. I think I might miss something. The art is good and there's potential for an interesting puzzle.
The idea is good to bet with you life. Something that could be interesting is to bet with more life. The maximum of 50 years is too low.

I was not expecting that at all ! I was completely surprised. I find that music is very appropriate. I was panicked during the dark phase. Good appropriation of the theme! I just have a small comment about the level design : the game becomes easier as you progress, when the game area increases. Excellent work

I loved this game. It's like a political criticism. You have to destroy trees to build room for cultists.
I like that the shield is composed of this hostages, it's disturbing. Maybe you could increase the size of the projectiles and slow down their speed to make it better.
Fun little game. I finished it. Maybe add little friction to the character.
Interesting appropriation of the theme and interesting level design. I think it could be better to have an indication when you can place an orb when it's possible, some feedback.
I like the idea to play with cat lives.
Cool game. It's like an overcooked without the movement. The art and music was great. The theme was well respected. I don't if the isometric view was a choice to confuse the player but sometimes I was confused by the position of the elements in relation to arrow keys. But it was a cool experience overall. Good work !
The sacrifice to the fountain was a good idea. Maybe you should have put more of it ! I died against the dragon.

Great game with multiple interesting gameplay mechanics and lovely art. The only thing that could be improved is the controls. I think the mouse could be used to move the piggy. The level design is really good, it's impressive that you managed to make so many levels in so little time.

Very interesting concept. I had the same idea at the beginning of the jam, to trade life for better equipment and I'm glad to play this kind of game. The graphics are pretty cool. I have one suggestion, it would be to have better feedback for the hit impact of the weapons because it was not very clear when I hit a target.

The art is pretty good like the appropriation of the theme. There are some bugs during the transition between screens. I also had a bug when I died, I couldn't see my character.

The art is great and I love the mood ! It's impressive to achieve this quality with so little time. However, I found the mechanics not very precise, it was too frustrating. I was stuck sometimes and I needed to restart level, it's probably a part of the gameplay but I think it needs some tweaking. Overall it's great, it's just little things.

Good idea ! It's been fun to try to save this little fish. I really like the graphics and the general mood. The player seems drunk but I think it is on purpose to make the game harder. I had some weird issue when I fell, it took time before going back to the start of the level. Overall, good entry !

I really liked the experience, one of my best so far. I love the graphics and colors (nice palette choice) and the concept. It feels good to keep alive such a huge beast ! At first I didn't understand that the wasps were reducing the life of the ookie. But after losing I understood and I almost won. I will retry it later ! Well done !

Thanks a lot for playing the game and giving us some feedbacks. I agree with all you said : short and the instructions/game mechanics was not very clear at first sight. I decided to update the game in a new branch thanks to your feedbacks. I made the instructions clearer and added an higlight on the pump so you know where to click. It's simple but it feels a lot better, thanks! I also added a new level. I'll probably make more during the next weeks but now, it's time to rest :) Thanks again!

@anchry : Thanks for your feedback ! Yes, I agree, the gameplay is very basic. We didn't have much time to work on it because we lost a lot of time on things that didn't work. Looks like we did something that still didn't work haha. Our way to present the game is to say that it's a warioware-like so a very very light game experience. But it's the other way to say that we didn't have time to find something funnier. :) I hope the updates will improve the gameplay.

I had fun playing it ! 300 meters is my best score. At first I thought I could have caught humans with my tentacles but it was just what they were holding. You found a good balance with the gameplay. I like that the cars move when you hit them, little details that add so much to the game. Good entry.

A very well executed game. Maybe the arrows could be seen directly when you play the game or maybe you should add clearer instructions because I had trouble at the beginning to find how to play. I use the arrows on my keyboard... But after that, I really enjoy the game, it's quite inventive and the graphics are cool. It's a good concept, you should push it further if you have time. I think something that could be improved would be to be able to play just with the mouse like if you click on an object you walk to that object because it took me a little time to find that you need to be near an object to pick it.

Cool game. I like the sounds and the music. What about killing ennemies by jumping on them like in Mario ? Maybe it wouldn't fit your core gameplay though.

The game is nice, I like the visuals and it suits the theme. I would have liked more feedback before the attack of the cat because I find it hard to avoid it at the moment. If you don't roll the loop at the beginning and wait few seconds, the moment you start playing, the cat attacks you. With feedback and just a bit more of polish, it could be a very fun game!
