that was weird... i did it through and got stuck to the "bad ending", i assume theres a good ending cause i figured out you can save the two buddies and pass through the first obstacle. Good job :D

@wrexialmt Yep there's a good ending indeed! The 4 sacrifices can be avoided with a logical thinking (+ there are hints), though my playtester GF has told me it could be a bit too hard for a short game. I didn't had the time to ease it but thank you for playing anyway :D
It works, nothing was broken. I understood how to play easily. It's ugly as sin. It controls fine. Congratulations on finishing a game!
A little different game that has kept me hooked for a while on the screen finding out how to move forward (I had trouble finding out that I had to put a bomb in the house jaja) Good work :)
@aortega Yeah I haven't made 80% of the graphics so it's lots of shutterstock images piled over each other, but I'm glad the rest was good, thanks :)
@Blackwen Haha thank you for not rage quitting :D
A very interesting concept, did not expect it to be as intriguing as it was. Didn't manage to get the good ending, since I suck at games like this.
I look forward to seeing what you would make once you improve your skills and/or get some teammates.
@simanis It's not really that you suck, more that when I spend 3 days to balance an enigma, I find it easy and forget that some people don't have the same mindset than myself! Many thanks for your kind words, and I'm already working on a full-fledged game :)
I love how you've have merged the theme with your game in order to form an intimidating selection of moral choices. Bit like my game hahah but mines less serious :P with some fixes and better assets this game would be great :D would love a rating on my game to :D
You trick me with this game. I sacrificed everything during my first run. :D
@julienlussiez That was the point ;) I hope you managed to make a perfect run after that!
I actually like the art style :) and the fact that the animation is fluid. I did both play through paths and was happy I got to figure it out. Good job.
Interesting concept
@srx Congrats! And thank you for persevering :)
@crosenlund79 Thanks!
I like the message of this game! I think the personalized features (setting character names and such) is a really nice touch. The animation was smooth, and the moving clouds keep the game from feeling dull when you stop running. I would like if there was more aftermath to the sacrifices, which I think would lead to more emotional conflict. As it is now, I don't think I felt as much guilt as I should have for letting my friends die (but for what it's worth, I still took the time to get the good ending). On one last note, I think a more consistent art style could amplify the mood. I know you didn't make all of the graphics yourself, but I thought it was a tip I'd give for future projects.
Despite having a few things that can be improved, this was a pretty fun game to play, and overall it was a pretty interesting experience! Keep up the good work!
@hunter-towe Thank you so much for your feedback! Yes, the aftermath was a thing I wish I could have worked on better, but I started the jam Saturday evening and I almost missed the deadline by trying to deliver a almost bugless experience :(
Consistent art style is a major focus for me usually, I mean I hate myself for mixing pixel-art tiles with vector clouds. But nice free art on the Internet is much harder to find than I thought. I think I'll make some generic assets in advance for next LD!
Thanks again :)
An interesting game with a kind of mechanics. I put a rating) Please rating and me, thanks in advance)
Oof, I sacrificed everything. I'll have to do better.
Interesting gameplay! I like how you made so many moral conundrums just to progress.
The twist at the beginning with going the opposite direction of the (->) signpost almost made me quit the game, thinking it was bugged. It might help to make the jump look even more impossible than it was, so it is very clear that the user cannot make the jump if they try to "time it" just a little better.
Developing a decent following AI that lags behind can be difficult and time-consuming; however, if the crux of your good/bad ending is your friends staying with you, your friends need to be able to "see" you easier.
All in all, a lot of pleasant surprises in the level design. I would have loved to see the good ending.
A pretty interesting play through. I thought I saved my friends but they didnt follow me around after so I am not really sure what they were supposed to be playing. I really liked playing it though. There was something pieceful about it. Not sure what ending I got. I assume the bad one since the case didnt open
The game was short but fun. I like the idea of finding a way where you don't sacrifice anything. I ran into a problem where I hit the saw and got stuck in the ground. Besides that great game.
@quackingtonvi Yup that's the only major bug I ran into and couldn't resolve in time :( Thank you anyway! I'll play yours when I'll be back from vacation :)
That was fun! The mood and audio were great. However, the AI stopped following me after the signpost part and the most progress I made was until the cliff falling part. I'm not sure if there were different ways to continue because it felt like there was still a lot of potential. But, overall, good job!
Did not manage to do a perfect run, but love the concept, and game works fine overall :)
EDIT : How to delete messages? Accidentally left bunch of them x.x EDIT : It seems I can't sorry for this :(
One Concept I Liked: * I liked the sound effects because they sounded very realistic and they immersed me into the world of the game.
One Concept I Disliked: * I had a difficult time trying to find out where to go in the game. You should playtest before publishing your game to see what is too difficult for players.
I'll give you points for originality if nothing else. This was almost dadaist game design. But that did mean solving the puzzles felt less "aha!" and more "okay... so that's how it goes apparently" And yes, I did make it to the good ending.
@d-studios My GF playtested the game and had the same opinion as you. I started to modify some things but time is time and I couldn't got through it. Thank you for being honest!
@bificommander Well, I guess I can still take it as a compliment if you consider my game belongs in an artistic movement! More seriously, I totally agree that some puzzles were over the top. I spent too much time on the execution itself and not enough on the idea. Anyway, thanks for playing until the end :)
Hi, good job. Liked the physics and movement controls. I will return and find the other ending. This playthrough I got only the "bad" ending. Graphic is simple, but effective. I had fun, and thats what counts. Good job sir:)
Edit: Finaly got the other ending. It was a bit tricky, but like the feeling of succes:)
I only got the bad ending. Was actually surprisingly fun, and a bit sad to lose my friends at the beginning.
Loved the game and I thought the animations were great. I don't completely understand the game though because I kept my friends alive at the beginning but I still got the "bad" ending.
