Really fun game; loved the unique take on the theme and appreciated the smooth controls. The wall jump mechanic was pretty neat too. Well done!

Really fun game; loved the unique take on the theme and appreciated the smooth controls. The wall jump mechanic was pretty neat too. Well done!
Love the cool vibe, graphics, and music, and it was really satisfying to just roam around the map, but I'm not sure whether the theme was implemented or not. But other than that, very nice!
Excellent game, really fun! Loved the audio direction, controls, gameplay decisions, and just about everything in this game. Great job!
Couldn't find how it incorporated the theme, but what I'll tell you is that its a really cool concept with excellent audio design. I imagine it would need a bit more lighting and more responsive controls. But other than that, great job!
Really fun game, I loved it! The controls are smooth and the game-play is perfectly balanced. It was really satisfying to hear the coughs of the puny population  Well done!
Really fun game, I loved the graphics and humor. But the catapults being able to shoot from really far range made them a bit overpowered, and spamming the mouse button the whole time was tiresome. But other than that, I really enjoyed it, well done!
Really unique art, theme implementation, and how the quotes would sometimes depend on previous events. Music and a faster pacing could make it stand out even more. All in all, great job!
A really creative entry! The audio and graphics sustained the mood, and the AI was pretty decent. However, physics and controls could need a bit of enhancement. Other than that, well done!
Solid game! Creative implementation of the theme, great graphics, and really smooth controls. However, the only bug I found was that the 'Hello' tank could push you out of the map. Other than that, well done!
Neat aesthetic and implementation of the theme, but the timer could be a bit slower. Keep it up!
Beautiful art-style, amazing audio, and just simply a fun game! I appreciated the difficulty curve and the creative implementation of the theme, but I felt like there could've been more potential to it. Also, it was frustrating sometimes that the dash button was not that responsive. Other than that, really well done!
Cool concept and sense of humor, but needs more combat feedback and faster pacing. Other than that, good job!
Cool game mechanics and implementation of the theme, but it was pretty difficult in the beginning and the controls need to be more responsive. Other than that, keep it up!
I jumped out of my seat! This was probably one of the most creative ways to implement the theme. Excellent!
Smooth controls and a sense of humor, while keeping up to the theme! Well done! Could use some music though.
Really fun game! The audio and art direction are excellent, and the theme is prominent. Well done! However, there were a few frustrating levels with the way the spikes were set up, especially when you decided to implement arrow keys instead of WASD... Here's an example where I had restarted the level numerous times as I couldn't hit the spike in a certain way Annotation 2018-12-26 133745.jpg
Loved the Wilhelm scream tho :D
Outstanding audio and art style alongside a unique mood. However, I would appreciate if the player was guided a bit more and was able to walk faster
Wow, that was a unique experience. I loved the isolating mood, and it kind of reminded me of that one Black Mirror episode. It was a great take on the theme and kept me playing till the end. Great entry!
Great music and controls, the smart implementation of the theme and food pickups encourages a fair game and really elevates its potential. But I would just recommend to keep the graphics a bit consistent. Overall, a solid entry!
Pretty neat art style and story. However, as others have mentioned, the controls need to be tweaked a bit. But other than that, keep making games!
I really enjoyed it this; loved the graphics and how balanced the game was. But I did notice a bug: double clicking a card would cause it to disappear... Other than that, nice job!
Really interesting concept, the music was a good fit and the AI is appropriately challenging. However, I would've appreciated it if the board was in the center of the screen. Other than that, well done!
Despite being clueless during the few moments of the game, I appreciate the audio and art direction alongside the overall mood of the game. Great job!
HA! That was really fun, loved how you took on the theme alongside the voice acting. I managed to beat the boss with a single dab (probably the best part), but I did find myself trying to avoid the smaller enemies since the fights weren't incentive and they did take a long time. Other than that, well done!
Excellent audio design and mood, but maybe guiding the player a bit in the beginning would have released the game's potential. All in all, well done!
Really nice game! The audio is outstanding and I liked the implementation of the theme. But the feedback from the thermal gun made it feel a bit weak. Other than that, well done!
That was awesome! Loved the sense of humor and surgery music, however, the controls were a bit weird at first. Other than that, excellent job!
Really impressive! The art and audio design is perfect for such a cool mood. But I felt stealing keys from the unpredictable AI was pretty challenging. Other than that, i played it for quite a while, great job!
First of all, that pixel art and animations are stunning! Audio and tone of the game is also a thumbs up. I do recommend to make it a WASD game since moving around with point and click was kind of frustrating sometimes (especially during combat). Combat needed some work, and maybe even amplify the theme a bit. But overall, really well done!
Really cool game, the theme implementation was well-executed and the graphics were appropriate. Well done! But I had no idea how to increase the influence and was clueless to what the number under Fear/Love meant :(
Great game! Although the jumping after dying controls needed some time to get used to, the art and music went really well together, and the flawless implementation of the theme had me playing till I finished it. Well done.
Pretty neat implementation of the theme, however, I do feel it needed a bit of balancing. For example, I did not find myself requiring the shooting mechanic at all since the bullets did not really do anything, alongside the fact that there was no need to jump after sacrificing that ability. Also, triple jumping felt weird and a bit rigid, and there were times where I had to attempt jumping onto a platform multiple times simply because it was too high. But I don't blame for these small gameplay issues, there's always time for improvement, considering its your first LD. But other than that, this is a great submission, good job! p.s. The graphics were pretty cool
This was a really neat calming experience; the mood, audio, and art style were just excellent! I think you could also say that you could sacrifice some hardware power for visual aesthetics as a part of the theme implementation   Screenshot (1).png
Beautiful game! The art-style and audio direction are just excellent, and really contribute to the fun yet calming mood. This was one of the greatest experiences I've had.
However...there are a few minor gameplay issues which do need some tweaking. First of all, it felt like fuel ran out fast, like really fast, and whenever I try to jump (w/o using the jet-pack) the fuel has to decrease by a couple percent; and in the case when fuel is scarce and runs out fast, that issue gets pretty frustrating. For example, w/ the tree part, I invested too many tries to climb up it, simply because I had no fuel by the second branch; and the loop of falling and looking for monsters to absorb every time got pretty annoying. Also, even on relatively short ledges, there's no way to jump onto it without sacrificing a bit of fuel. To absorb the creatures you had to be very close to them and try to get the ledges out of their way. I would've also appreciated it if the player had more air control and there was audible feedback when the jetpack is about to run out of fuel and when it fills up to 100%.
I understand if this critique felt a bit harsh, but I strongly believe the pros outweigh the cons, and I'm pointing out all these issues simply 'cause I loved the game and want to see something bigger out of it. Well done!
Why did the bunnies have to die this way  Great music, sense of humor, and effective implementation of the them, however, controls could have been a bit smoother. All in all, a solid entry!
Really cool concept, the audio really contributed to the satisfaction of killing the heroes alongside the amazing graphics. However, I was not a big fan of having all the zombies stacked on each other during the beginning since you could sacrifice more than one per click while not even knowing which type is being sacrificed. Also, it needs a bit more balancing, but other than that, a solid submission!
That was a neat, short, fun game straight to the point. I liked your incorporation of the theme and the minimal pixel art. Also, the music fit the tone of the game. However, colliding with lasers was pretty annoying. Other than that, well done!
This really has some great potential, the atmosphere, character quotes and graphics were really well implemented alongside the smooth controls. Although, it may need some ambient sounds to sustain the mood. All in all, well done!
@fluffy-kaeloky WOOAAHH!! Thank you so much for that feedback, I really appreciate it! I completely agree with everything you've said and I'll take it all into consideration when diving into future projects. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it that much!
@wtmk-bk @fluffy-kaeloky :face_palm: well, it turns out the UE4 build I submitted would not render the bullets smh, which is why I was confused when you suggested bullet effects, but now it should work. Thanks for your feedback!
@ryjcio @cdunham I'm really sorry to hear that, the project folder in the link hasn't changed since I uploaded it onto the Drive and apparently still works on my machine and for others (according to the comments). Maybe it could be an OS compatibility issue, or possibly Anti-virus software blocking the game from running. Let me know if its been resolved or if there's anything else. Also, does your laptop make a sound which may seem like its coming from the game?
@joll05 Thanks for the kind words and for pointing that out! That issue could be from your end, disabling the _'Start SteamVR when an application starts'_ under the Developer tab in SteamVR may solve your problem. Otherwise, that would be on my end where I would have to disable a few defaulted plugins in UE4. Nonetheless, thanks again!
Really neat concept, loved the sense of humor and models, but as others have said, the buttons felt unresponsive and moved too fast to click. Other than that, good job!
Awesome! Despite the game crashing on me a few times in the beginning, those graphics and the audio direction really sustained the cool mood of the game. I love the unique take on the theme and had lots of fun. However, it did feel like the controls had a delay to them at times. Other than that, a great entry!
Creative implementation of the theme! Loved the pixel art and appreciated the mood, however, audio got a bit annoying. Overall, well done!
Really creative implementation of the theme, I really appreciated the humor and art style, but adding music and maybe a health bar would really elevate its potential. Great job!
Loved the vibe and audio direction; really well done. However, the controls were pretty unresponsive. Other than that, keep it up!
This is a really unique take on the theme, however, I felt like it needed some visual / audible feedback when clicking on a correct cube. All in all, good job for your first entry and keep making games! :)
Loved the hellish mood, graphics, and audio direction. Good implementation of the theme, and I'm not sure if this was just me, but the controls were a bit wonky. Other than that, great job!
Amazing! Love the take on tower defense, the theme was well implemented, music and art felt fitting, and the overall mood was enjoyable. However, there were some bugs like placing units out of the green zone and no enemies spawning when replaying. But all in all, a competent entry!
Really intriguing concept and implementation of the theme! I loved seamlessly spawning into the next room alongside the creative ability types. However, I felt like visual / audible feedback would've been necessary for about all the game mechanics. Other than that, well done!
Nice take on the theme, loved the art direction and vibe, but controls weren't as smooth and the character's legs would be under the level map sometimes. Other than that, I really enjoyed it, well done!
This was incredibly fun! The stunning graphics, audio, and smooth controls really contributes to how well-polished this game is. Although I did feel the levels were kind of long and challenging, it still stole a lot of time from me. Well done!
Love the sense of humor and graphics. Controls are smooth and the game is straight to the point. Well done! My only complaint is that the player should be given more time in the beginning.
The audio design and tone of the game was really neat and unique. I loved the character animations and model, but I'm not a big fan of the controls. Also, I came across a bug: hitting the enter key when sacrificing would crash the game... Other than that, well done!
That was really neat! I loved the art-style, animations, and the concept of feature slots. However, I did feel the controls were a bit too sensitive and lacked control, and killing enemies really needed more feedback. Also, please change Q to A  Other than that, a solid entry!
Very well done; the graphics and audio are pretty neat, but I would suggest to change the shooting from space-bar to mouse click.
Very interesting take on the theme, well done! The art-style was pretty cool but I did not like the fact that I had to move my mouse every time I wanted to click the alarm clock.
That was really fun! The sense of humor, music, art, and controls were really fitting, however I felt like the enemies could deal a lot of damage, which encouraged me to speed run the levels sometimes. Having audible feedback when being damaged would be a good idea, alongside having the game as an zip file rather than an installer. Also, the boss level was a really great addition. All in all, a solid entry!
Really nice implementation of the theme and audio! But controls were a bit difficult. Other than that, well done guys!
That was fun! The mood and audio were great. However, the AI stopped following me after the signpost part and the most progress I made was until the cliff falling part. I'm not sure if there were different ways to continue because it felt like there was still a lot of potential. But, overall, good job!
