pretty good
I can give you some help if you need it
WANING TO EVERYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH AIMING: Press the escape button until the cursor shows up and then press in the center of the window, this is a problem with unity I appologize
for Ayxs its a puzzle game it's not supposed to be obvious how to do
its ok
it was okay nothing really special
It was made in a 48 hour challenge, remember what site your on? If i uploaded a more complete version, for you to be following the rules you would have to play the original anyway.
LittleCJ, could you give some constructive critisism atleast? Maybie tell me what could of been better what you have said is very vague.
Horribly optimized, not very fun.
really good
the art is good but it runs slow and there is not much gameplay
Pretty fun to mess with a first but if you expand the game, definatly add more components.
Thanks! For other people if they don't understand, when the projector receives an input it displays it above it self in text, the only inputs are numbers so it will always be a number. c:

Thanks for your feedback, appreciate it a lot, you definatly earned a karma point! To you and sanguine, I was trying to make an actual game that could be expanded on if I wanted, not just a short thing where you play in 5 minutes. For the tutorial I know it is complicated, and to help I put in the mini puzzles, If I had more time I would have made it more interactive and more spread out, but the game was only functional when I had 3 hours before the deadline and I started making levels then, and the last hour was compiling web and windows. I don't like the thing that a lot of people do on here, where they just take a bunch of simple mechanics from games they like and mash them together, it ends up with very shallow and uninteresting gameplay, that is why I spend so much time on the inner workings, each functional component only took me around 10 minutes to make, they have very simple implementations, but the super class "IONode" is what I spent so long on, if I only had an inverter and adder, and wires I would of ended up with something simular, only less fun, way easier which is a BAD thing, puzzle games should NOT be easy xD. Sorry for the run on senteces and spelling cant bother to change them with this tiny text box.
Thank you! And I will do so, but most likely move it out of Unity for a lot of reasons. :p
I was able to play it some, but kept getting stuck on the moving concrete wall that blocks you, good game anyway.

... that's not good the jars should be packed into the executable one
Just hold left click for half a second(same time for each rock level) but you will need an upgraded pickaxe to mine higher level rocks like stated in the description. At first you can only mine stone(right click on a block to see its name) but after you have a stone pickaxe you can mine the tier 1 ores and then you make a pickaxe out of that then repeat one more time and you can build the things needed to kill the bosses.
no downloads?
Nice game, saw one of your posts earlier so I kept the tab open while I was making my game so I could play it later... dunno if the game browser is just showing me bad games every year on purpose or if there really just isn't very many lol
Sorry about that... the method for getting un-trapped was explained in the 2nd level. The game is based around the doors being portals that you can connect in ways that wouldn't be possible in real life. I never explained this in the game so it can be confusing... When you saw two freezers it was just the same freezer, so when you walked through the door you were actually walking out of the same door back into the room.
@foxisxiii There is, I wasn't aware that changing the description would erase the part where it said what platform it was. The icon is still there but I'll change it.
@darkguardsman That happens if any of the following are true, feel free to give me extra info if none of these are true: A: You are using a mac computer B: You have outdated drivers that can't load the version of OpenGL I use(kind of unlikely considering the version was released 10 years ago but some things never end up supporting it) C: You don't have Java / your Java version is too old
@darkguardsman Interesting... I'm not really sure what the problem is. What command did you have to use? I have 1.8.0_151 but I doubt there would be any major changes between the versions. The error with the res/save.txt also is very strange because it is in the same folder as all of the textures and it is the last thing loaded, so it makes no sense that it would be able to load all the textures and models but have a problem loading the text file. I use a program called jarsplice to get all the natives and libraries into the jar quickly, so it could be possible that something about your computer doesn't like the process it uses.
@mathis-bressaud What does "avec" mean?
@derwenzl What was the problem? Do you have a newish version of Windows?
@rumor I had someone else experience that as well, not sure what is going on... on some machines it seems to move at the right speed, and others not. To be honest, I have no idea what could be causing this. I am multiplying all movements by the time measured using std::chrono in miliseconds between frames converted into seconds ( system clock specifically ) maybe this only works on certain machines for some reason, not sure why it would though...
@rumor I tried changing it to a different method of time measurement, would you mind downloading the "Bugs Fixed Edition" to see if the problem persists?
@rumor Thanks for the feedback, and glad the fix worked! It's always hard to get the difficulty right... in the past I've had a few games that took 30+ min to complete if you were fast, and I was told those were too long ( note that one was on the old site so it would be hard to find for anyone reading this ). Ever since then I've tried to make them go a bit shorter, but I do agree that this was a bit too easy. I'm currently working on revising and porting my engine to C++ and I am going to re-do / update a lot of my LD games when that's ready ( I've really never updated them with anything but bug fixes, but I think it would be good experience to implement the feedback and come back to some of them after a long time ). Probably won't get back to this one anytime soon and I will probably continue work on other stuff after doing a few, then come back later so there is a decent chance that you won't remember asking to be notified when the vegetable farming gets implemented when that actually does happen!
lol nice, makes no sense but its cool. Is the stuff the guy is talking about procedurally generated?
Thanks for rating! The grapping motion thing is kind of a bug, I'll fix it if I make a newer version.
In case anyone is wondering what the bug is: When you hold W/S it just updates the position instead of adding to the velocity, it sort of seems like nothing is wrong when you are swinging because it stills pulls you in the other direction. The problem is when you release the velocity is just the force pulling you towards the grappling point minus the rope length so if you have passed the center pivot point then you will swing backwards.
Thanks! I tried to do a grappling hook thing on one of my Ludum Dare games a while ago (it was on the old site) but I couldn't get anything good so I just used other mechanics. I really like the idea of grappling hooks, and I was thinking about them from playing Terraria and Starbound so I decided to try it again in this game. Judging from the comments it seems like it turned out pretty good. I think I will work on this game again sometime soon but I just need to take a break to get fresh ideas after working on it 18 hours a day for 3 days straight. xD
@Pond Loach sorry this game was made in Java and most browsers don't allow online Java applications, and even if they do the operating system firewall would most likely block it. If you can't run it, you either don't have a new enough version of Java or your drivers don't support OpenGL features I am using.
I guess its not that bad... the pelclok car or whatever looks kind of lik ea blueberry hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.,. k.
Very good game, gave it 5 on all, fun and has lots of stuff!
Good idea and good gameplay but I couldn't really see whatever was on the sides because my screen is no where near big enough...
I don't think the fire buttons worked but the graphics are pretty cool.
The bullet needs to actually shoot instead of just killing whatever you click on...
Wow great, pretty hard but not impossible. Gave 5 on all.
Very good game!
Pretty good game, the player moves a little too fast so its hard through get out of a 1x1 hole by jumping but I didn't see any other problems.
Good game, the music is nice but like the other guy said its confusing when there is too much stuff to concentrate on.
Good game! Pretty fun.
Sound was annoying and once I ran out of the starting cards I never got any more and the shop didn't work...
