Nice game! I quite enjoyed my match. I couldn't really tell if the ghosts were really trying to doing anything in particular..
@sheehan When they are not stuck in walls, they are trying to do something ;) Basically, a score is assigned to each hands in poker. The ghost see your 2 first cards and will decided either to attack you based on statistics, get new cards, or just chill out and run into walls :)
Haha this game is great. Very novel concept.
The physics caught me off guard a bit, since I expected it to be grid-based, but that's just me being stupid.
Very good game, amazing concept. Ai could use some work (i understand it was 48 hours haha). With better AI would be a amazing $10 game.
Wow! The graphics are really impressive, you must have put a lot of hard work into this! Amazing work! Kinda hard to keep track of everything because I have to look to the side to see what cards they have and then possibly run over while looking ^^' I might just be a little ditsy though
The game doesn't let me put a resolution higher than 1680x1050, I bet it's because of my screen, so there is no way for me to play properly, infortunately. That's a pretty neat idea !
@satanos : I'm working on a JAM version, will try to figure the problem with the UI layout ;) @Dakota-Jones thank you :) The hardest part was to put some sort of intelligence into the enemies brains :P that plus the poker algorithms that took a while to implements. Should have used black jack ;)

Nice idea! Its a bit hard to track the cards, escape from ghosts with better hands but it is fun anyway.
Fun game and cool concept. Having to play at a certain resolution makes it really hard to play. The AI could use some work. I don't think I ever find a ghost with a better hand than I had.
Man! It was the first game that interested me because of IDEA! :DI laughed during playing a lot, this idea is really hilarious :D Kinda difficult to walk, it is a bit... heavy? But overall - awesome :D Check my game, if you want :D

I think this is a good case of exactly what I expected and that is a very good thing.
I really like how the ghosts are in a mad scramble around the room, really funny idea... I think the character sticks a little too much to walls and corners, and its a little hard to understand at first... but its pretty creative.
Wow, what more is there left to say? This caught us completely off guard. Amazing in every category! Also, that song is super dope! Could you give us the link?

Awesome idea! It can get really deep with some strategy involved in picking better hands. I think it could become a great game if the pacing was just right so you should think what cards to get and be worried about being found. PLEASE ADD A GIANT PELLET THAT DOES SOMETHING AWESOME!!

I did run into a bug - after killing all the ghosts, it kept increasing the level (no new ghosts generated?)
Excellent meshing of two genres. The graphics and music are great. One thing I'd like to see is the ability to press a button to continue when you "battle" one of the ghosts instead of having to click the button. Great job on this one.

Fun game at first, but you don't care about poker rules much, just eat all the cards before your opponents. And huge minus on using the pacman graphics, it's always easier to get attention with such iconic characters, not fair.
Apart from the fact that I didn't get anywhere and that I'm a terrible gamble, I enjoyed the music and the idea. Sort of old meets even older XD
Really great idea to blend these two genres together, and with such gusto! The gfx fit perfectly, as does the music. You might be sitting on a goldmine here. Develop it further!

The Idea is really great and the mechanics. But using the Pacman Graphics and Music could you lead to some lega issues (as a compo game).

Great concept, and nearly flawless execution of the concept. I was a little annoyed by the ghosts not using path finding, which would have been much more interesting. What if the ghosts hunt you when they have a winning hand and run away when you have the winning hand. Without original graphics, I can't really score you well on that, but I like the rest of the game quite a bit.

I really love the idea of the game, I wanted to play since your first posts. It was easy to beat the ghosts, because they were just running into walls while i was collecting the good cards. When I tried the web version, i couldn't see the cards because of the resolution, but the download version works perfect. The pac man was walking a little bit slow and it was annoying, you can also try to flip it when he goes in the left direction. Great idea overall ^_^
The only issue with the game is its level of complexity (which out of all the possible problems - is not the worst to have). Of course, it's possible to blindly collect everything but the number of possible strategies is truly overwhelming. Plus, if a player wants to pay attention to what cards the ghosts are getting... boy oh boy is he in for a headache.
You pretty much nailed the theme and the look of a PacMan game. I wish the controls were a tiny bit more responsive and the cards a bit easier to read (4 color deck option with large faces might be a good idea) but on the whole, this is a pretty damn cool entry. Good job!
EDIT: Oh yeah and there's the copyright issue that I missed in the first place. It's not going to affect my rating but it's something to think about.
Loved it, I had a really good time and couldn't stop playing. I think it matches the theme perfectly. It will look good when you implement the original graphics (which I understand will be the ones from the last image). Well done and good luck with the post-jam version :D

This is great! It took me a while to realise that I was supposed to collide with the ghosts once I had a hand but after that things really clicked. Only real criticism is that the spades/clubs look very similar and caught me off guard a couple of times. Great entry!
