At first it is a bit hard to understand how to play it, but later it becomes funny and challenging. By the way, the white blood cell, the other sprites and the music are really cute!

The graphics and the audio were nice, and the theme was on point! In my opinion, the crab was a bit slow, but it was a good game.
I liked it! It was a nice game, and it shows that you worked a lot on it. I specially like the artstyle and audio. It was a bit hard for me to understand the controls, though.
My computer lagged after playing it for a while but it is a stunning game. I love the graphics and the atmosphere, both of them are truly relaxing. The game mechanic of terraforming to water the flowers is funny, too. Good job!
Es bonito y relajante. La idea es muy original y se ajusta al tema, además te deja con ganas de seguir jugando. Bien hecho!
Thank you ion-programming! I have noticed some bugs I still have to fix, but I am glad you could play it and enjoy it!
@rixium @frasse @boxedmeatrevolution Thank you all for your feedback! Certainly, implementing some save points is a nice idea. I will give it a try :)
@naca @sharbelfs @stephan-steinbach @postmeridiangames @sodap @robert-li @natasza @monish-vyas @bredian @neowedge Definitively, the game needed some safe points, so I tried to implement them. Thank you all for your feedback!
@pavel-kouril @nolanfa @johnfn Thank you! I am glad you liked it!
Yes, as you guessed I used Fungus. I ran out of time so I used its default UI assets, hehe
I like how you portrayed the "Keep it alive" theme. It was funny to play, well balanced and polished. By the way, the art is interesting! I will keep trying until I get all the condiments, my evil brother won't stop me with his knifes
I had a nice time with it. There were a lot of levels, which is quite impressive! The mechanic is original, simple and interesting at the same time. The graphics and music were cute. Well done :)
Good game! It gets a bit addictive. It would be perfect as a mobile game, since it's funny to play it while doing other things. Otherwise, I would fasten it a bit. Well done
It's a bit easy but I like the idea of looking after a red panda, specially using cameras. It was a cute game.
It was funny, and I love that the dogs leave the cat if you play fetch with them. The graphics were also cute and neat. I found the camera's movement a bit fast, but overall is a good game!
The concept is interesting and the artwork is stunning. I didn't understand at all how to play, I tried to scare the animals but they didn't go away. Anyways you did a great work, this is the kind of rythm game that gives you a nice mood.
I liked it a lot! It is a really good game, polished and cute. Also the art style and sound are lovely.
It took me a while to understand but I had a good time with it. I will replay it for sure!
I had a good time with it. I kinda feel bad for the poor pug, but the game was really funny and the idea was nice. I specially like the procedural generation of the platforms, although sometimes it became harder than others. But overall is a nice game
I like how polished it is. The art was super cute! Also, the way you used the wind blows for the level design was interesting.
That was funny, its pixel-art is on point and the music is epic. Overall, a well-developed game. It felt a bit strange after playing for a while because suddendly my medic began to run slower, but the rest was nice.
That was such a relaxing game, I liked it. And that rock was really cute, the way it moved was funny. Well done!
That was entertaining. It has a nice level design, the audio and the art were on point. Sometimes there were some creatures that appeared too fast and I didn't know exactly what they did, though. Nice game :)
This game is pretty cool. The audio and graphics are great, they give a sort of magical mood. I still have to find the references and get all the endings, but I am enjoying it so far.
Simple, beautiful and relaxing. I love the concept. The art was something special. Well done!
Wow! The best of the game are the graphics, which are amazing. The entry overall it's not bad. I don't understand at all what the gold is for, but the combination of fishing and rythm game works fine. I like the idea of the "?" notes, but it was a bit hard to notice what do you have to do when they appear. In all: you did a good job!
I like the idea, which is hillarious. It's simple, funny and easy to learn to play. If you are going to make more levels you could implement tools, some puzzle design...
Actually, what @Le Slo suggest is a good idea, different kinds of swears would be amazing.
The art is cute, however, the background music is a bit repetitive. But overall it is a good game
Lol it's hilarious. I loved the notes on the doors. It would have been interesting to see the two genres mixed a bit more, but it is a good work nevertheless.
Loved it, I had a really good time and couldn't stop playing. I think it matches the theme perfectly. It will look good when you implement the original graphics (which I understand will be the ones from the last image). Well done and good luck with the post-jam version :D
Thank you for reporting. The graphics should show, first there is a short intro (which is just a black screen with a textbox and some text), after that the game shows the screen.
We will check what is going on, fix and upload as soon as posible
@walter-mays We finally managed to fix it, sometimes it got stuck in the first scene. Also there were some problems with the UI we didn't notice. Thanks again for the advice!
@bobok @awesomealliterationalliance Thank you! I am glad you liked it! About the clicking issue, we are trying to solve it, we don't know why the click works perfectly in the Unity editor but then in the build it is hard to start a dialogue.
Also the weapon with area damage is a good idea, we will take them into account!
@Shivur @Sfey @kittyinthestudio @Amazura @tonynguyen3102 @lucas-hoffman Thank you all for your kind words!
About laptop users, we will try to design diferent controls. Maybe Arrow Keys, x and z or something like that
Hi @ThatSommeS Bug fixes were uploaded after the first submission. I will update the description with a change log, I just checked the rules and I noticed that I forgot to add it. Thanks for the reminder!
I played it with my phone, it was interesting. The main idea id pretty good, would work fine on a full game.
I got stuck after getting the last key (glass key), I used It with the locked door near the roses. The key disappeared and I don't know how to get on.
About the graphics, it seems there was an error with the cards, their images didn't show and I knew which was each one because I could read their names.
Anyways, nice job!
The art and audio are pretty good. It is also very interesting how to start experimenting freely until you realize what's really going on. Good job, team!
Nice little game. I couldn't solve many puzzles, I think I found an axe when I pressed 5 on a door, but that's all. Anyways, it was funny, and I like the combination of themes. The scarejump scared me shitless. I will keep trying until I beat it! The audio gave it a great atmosphere, by the way.
I don't know why but it doesn't let me download it, Drive tells me there is an error analyzing it. The screenshots look amazing though
I played it with my brother. It's an interesting concept which matches the theme perfectly. It would work fine as a full game. It's a bit weird to play with the player views changing from side to side, inclination... But once you get used to it it's not bad at all. Overall, a good game!
At first it was a bit hard to learn to use the sword, but once you do, you have a really good time. Really interesting, good concept, also with a lot of potential to develop further, funny and with neat graphics and audio. Good job! As an idea, if you make a post-jam with more features you could implement skills, different weapons or maybe a way to cut small trees on the go.
Nice game, very polished and complete. It seems you worked a lot the AI behaviour, which is a good point. At the end I found it a bit hard to find my planet, the system kept telling me to go to the south. But that's all, overall it's pretty good!
You have something with potential here! It suits the theme very well and was really funny to play, I loved using the skills. It will be amazing to explore the whole dungeon, playing as other classes like magician...
If you want some suggestions, since all the enemies come from the front, you could place the main character a bit closer to the lower border of the screen. Also the moving controls, it was a bit hard for me to move, maybe changing the movement to getting the axis instead of directing and accelerating would work fine (I am not sure if I have explained myself well, anyways, this last one maybe it was just that I am a bit bad at playing it).
It is a pretty solid entry, it's amazing that you could do this for the compo! Well done!
It's a great combination. Actually it's working fine in Android. Simple but funny! Well done!
It's a funny and interesting concept, and the art is cute. I agree with the rest of the users, if you want to develop a complete game based on this it would be really cool. Well done!
I had a lot of fun with it, it is addictive. The game design is very well done. Of course it reminds to Superhot but that's not bad, in fact you made something different with that in mind. Since it's a jam it is understandable that you couldn't make better graphics, so take it into account if you are planning on making a full game, because with some art this game would be amazing.
It has a unique atmosphere, specially because of the background music, which is amazing.
The game overall is nice, I like the main concept, it was funny and has its own complexity (because of the AI behaviour). If you are going to develop further, in my opinion you could consider setting some sort of feedback of how much life do you have left.
Also, posting a WebGL build it's a great advantage since we don't have to download it, but WebGL sometimes doesn't behave well with 3D scenes that feature realtime illumination or particle effects, so just in case some players have problems with it maybe you could upload a Windows build (I am not an expert nor any good with programming though, so maybe I am not right at all xD).
Anyways well done, it is a good entry!
Ooops, my bad then 😆 I will try again with that in mind. Thanks!
That WHY ARE YOU RUNNING meme now makes a lot of sense xD
Nice entry, funny concept. I had a good laugh playing. At the end Knuckles killed me, but I will reach the source of the music someday!
I tried the Android version, at first the game froze a bit but later it worked fine. The controls are easy to learn, which is good.
If you want an idea to make it scarier, you could set a sprite for the source if the memes, that way when the lightning strikes the player wouldn't expect the meme to be so close.
Well done!
First of all, I must say it: I love the mood and the atmosphere (my inner metalhead self was satisfied). On second place, overall it's not bad. It is funny, sometimes even a bit addictive, and the concept has potential. Also the art is great. Sometimes I felt like it was a bit hard to control the motorcycle, but I think that it was me that I am a bit noob with this kind of games. However, since it is meant to be fast paced, maybe you could consider making the arena bigger or augmenting the rate of fire, in my opinion it would help the game feel. Anyways, pretty solid entry, one of my favourites!
Loved it! The art is amazing, the concept is original and you have a very good time playing it. Also it is really polished, one of the best entries. Maybe you could use the Up Arrow for turning the tetriminos, that way the left hand only would have to reach the ctrl key. But is just a suggestion and other than that, it's perfect.
Nice game! It matches the theme very well, the art and audio are polished and it is funny (and also a bit addictive) to solve those puzzles. In my opinion it also has potential, now that you have the assets if you wanted you could design more levels, maybe it would do fine as a mobile game.
I agree with some of the other players that a "restart" button would help a lot, sometimes you get stuck moving the stones and that way the player wouldn't have to redo all the past levels.
It also happened to me that the graphics didn't load in some scenes. My first run it didn't happen until a guard caught me, then I went back to menu and it occured again when I reached the third level. After that, I tried a few times to restart the game, and it always bugged when I entered the second or the third level.
First of all, congratulations for finishing a VR Game on a jam, which is something rather challenging.
Overall it was not bad, the concept is solid and it would work fine as a full game, maybe with minigames of everyday perks (cooking, cleankng, studying). However, it was a bit hard top understand at first. I also think you should be careful with the scarejumps, they are not bad at all but maybe some feedback before the Monster actually kills you. You could make it scarier experimenting with the atmosphere instead.
Anyways, you did a good work.
I liked the concept, it is pretty addictive! This would work really fine as a complete game. Also the graphics are cute.
It was a bit hard to move the tetrimino, it spins fluidly in all positions except when the three bottom blocks are on the ground, in that position it is a bit hard to give force to it, but it is funny to play it anyways.
By the way, the music is epic!
Cool game. I didn't stop playing until I passed it. It is a funny idea, maybe a bit tricky to move though. Actually I liked the weird sprites, of course art could be more polished but if you want to develop further I think the horror references will look good.
Very interesting mechanic, it has some deep so it would work great as a long game. It matches the theme fine, and the art is well polished.
The only issue I found is that sometimes the combinations don't work, sometimes I had a Color or a Pair of kings and the game told me that it was a wrong combination, but maybe it was my fault and I forgot to check a card.
Good entry, think about developing further!
I see! Then it makes sense.
It has lots of potential. The mechanics are interesting and the game feel is amazing!
However, it was a bit hard learn how to play, I had to read the comments to get it. I also agree with @Nikaoto that it needs some instant feedback, for example the buttons pumping with the rythm you need to push them (the game would be much easier to understand) or some beats when you hit the button correctly.
Anyways, it is a pretty solid entry, funny, with cute art and catchy audio, and I would LOVE to see a full game made of this!
I enjoyed it, I like the combination of themes! And I love the art, specially the meat dungeon with that giant ram skull. It has a lot of work, well done!
Lol I love the concept, it matches the theme perfectly. I use to play scrabble with my mother, I will make her try it for sure. The game was funny, it is a bit challenging but that is not bad at all. I managed to survive forming short words like prepositions (some of them in other languages I have never spoke, though). Well done, it look like it was a bit complex to make it.
Cute and simple one, the idea of the Cacodemon tamagotchi is funny. I agree with @Steve Sparkes that it would be nice to see it developed further, with minigames or actions like choosing what to feed it with (cheetos or humans?) . Maybe I am a bit weird, but I somewhat started to become fond of my Cacodemon...
First of all, you managed to make a game in less than 72 hours so you can call it a success. It's not easy and almost all the games uploaded have bugs and errors. This time it is even your first attempt so congratulations!
Following this, I couldn't play it because I don't have Game Maker 2 installed, so I haven't rated it yet ( I will try later). What you have uploaded is the project folder (source code), not a game / application ready for publishing. In order to do so, you should compile, after that you can upload the compiled game and we will be able to play it without having Game Maker 2 (and there will be more people playing it).
This is a tutorial about how to compile in Game Maker 2, it starts compiling from minute 2:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiKGxJLnscQ
I will try to update my Game Maker anyways to try it later. Also, the more jam games you rate, the more you will get rated (thanks for playing mine, by the way)
Very polished and fits the theme perfectly. Actually it's very funny to play it, well written and designed. It was a good choice to experiment with the combination, for example when you have to move to the side she is telling you. Also the art is amazing.
The only thing I saw that maybe it could be interesting to fix is that sometimes while you are driving and the question with two-choice pop up the car stops moving for a while. Maybe it happened because my connection is bad, though.
Anyways, very well done! I will be looking other of your games too
