I love the art style you're going for, curious to see how it's going to play.

Very beautiful!
Thats a big team! How do you handle doing a 3 day project with 10 people?
Beautiful game :)
Don't know if I was bad at the game or if it was too hard, but I felt the mechanics needed a bit more visual feedback. Anyway, I loved the art style and the concept is good ! :)
That's pretty cool! I found it hard to follow the rhythm. The music and art are really great!
Looks outstanding and clean, little unclear on modes of interaction and feedback.
yeah I'm with the other reviewers, this had very little clarity or direction. The game page has all the instructions, but I didn't feel like I could do much of anything because no matter what I did, the animals wouldn't go away. The music was kinda simple, and very repetitive. I guess its cause I never made it very far though so if the music changes, I wouldn't know. The art direction is solid, but the animations were pretty stilted. It may be a concept worth exploring, but there needs to be more feedback so I know whether or not I'm actually affecting the animals.
After testing it, I can say I still loved the look but it was really hard to understand how to play without clear visual and sound feedback. Too bad ! It was an interesting concept.
I really loved the art style in this. It felt very natural and scenic. I think the animals were pretty cute and watching them blow on my fire was silly and creative. Good job with this.
With gameplay, I couldn't tell what items I needed to use for which animals. It wasn't clear what something like the slingshot was used for in comparison to the spray bottle, because nothing seemed to occur when I used the items. I didn't know if the items were working or not. If this was conveyed better, I think your game could be great.
Great job overall though, keep up the good work!
Would love to see some indication that the tool I am using is working or on, because it takes some time to figure that out and get the hanfg of it. The sounds and music are really nice. Congrats to your entry! Good job
Amazing! Great atmosphere! Art is ssssoooo gooodd!!! And the music too :) Maybe a little too difficult to follow the rythm and understand how the tools work
Art, music and sound is amazing.
Gameplay-wise it couldn't make past level 1, it wasn't clear enough which animal required which tool and when was I supposed to use them. I guessed it had to do with the rhytm but I couldn't figure it out.
I'd suggest adding clear feedback about when to use the tools and more information about which goes with which animal. I could be visual or with a clearer stronger beat.
Also it'd be good to have some onboarding and introducing animals one by one and just after learning how to keep the fire alive.
In any case, great work, with some polishing it could be amazing!
The art is fantastic, atmosphere is great. Can't believe it's a ld game. Would be better with animation and other effects when using items aand defeating enemy. The gameplay can also be strengthed too. But overall, nice one and I like it.
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to give us feedback and appreciate our work!!!! :)
We'll try to polish all those bugs and unfinish stuff if we get the time
Definitely one of the best I have seen. The night theme is stunning, althought I couldn't seems to be able to beat it.
Cool game, but it is very hard and difficult to figure out what to do. Nice work!
That is some fantastic artwork. The ideas is also unique. I feel there should have been more visual cues for the player to figure out what's working or not. Good work overall.
What a fantastic artistic work ! It looks fantastic and sounds brilliant. The concept is so interesting, unfortunately as other pointed, it's pretty difficult to get the rhythm right, not enough feedback to know if that's the right thing you are doing. Still well done for your work !
The concept is interesting and the artwork is stunning. I didn't understand at all how to play, I tried to scare the animals but they didn't go away. Anyways you did a great work, this is the kind of rythm game that gives you a nice mood.
I really enjoyed the art style and core mechanics. Thought it was pretty hard to keep the rythm going when switching between instruments, especially when the old one continues going for a bit after. Though maybe I didn't get how to do it correctly. Still to me it feels like it would be much better if the first beat of the new instrument would be the first time you click on it to switch to it, if that makes any sense (maybe make it so you have to switch on beat too?). Still though, very nice game and idea.
Really cool idea for a game. At the beginning a little bit hard to follow the rythm, but then it was just awesome. I like the day/night artwork. Good job!
Thank you all for the great feedback! We've pushed a fix for some of the bugs that we found. If you got stuck in the night (or didn't get to see the kraken) try it out c:
Art and sound creates an impressive atmosphere, but the mechanics are unclear and there is no feedback, so it's hard to have fun with the game. I agree with @luismb55 suggestions. Well done anyway!
