It was pretty short, but I liked the ambience. Not what I was expecting tbh, but that was nice.

It was pretty short, but I liked the ambience. Not what I was expecting tbh, but that was nice.
Really nice ! I really wanted to see what you'd come up with this jam, and I'm not dissapointed ^^ One thing though, since it's procedurally generated softlocks can happend. I got stuck at level 16, where I was stuck in a small loop. But honestly, it was really good otherwise ^^
I loved the art style and the general mood, but... due to the camera affecting your mouse, sometimes moving precisely was a huge struggle. And since the camera was really slow to follow, as soon as your character drops off-screen it's over. This gave me mixed feelings - The idea is original, but still amazing job to you two ^^
Damn that's HARD ! Too hard for me honestly, had to stop at level 4 or so. It has been said previously, but... I think there is too little warnings and no room for error. The game doesn't warn you, doesn't give you signs before killing you.
For the rest, it's good, the graphics are nice, the music too.
I'm amazed how you always manage to come up with such original ideas, and a great execution. Every. single. time :D
It's a really good game ! In terms of gameplay, visuals and polishing. I had a problem when I started the level stuck in a corner, but it's good that you had THIS interaction ready xD. Overall really nice game, the difficulty was just right and the gameplay was solid. Good job !

That was so relaxing ! Yeah, when I got my first plant to grow it was only a matter of time before I flooded the screen with new sprouts. The concept is good, and the execution too (but yeah, it can be a bit hard to place plants in pots).
I like the game, the puzzles were interesting but due to the approximative collisions they sometimes ended up feeling messy. Else, good job ! The ambiance is perfect, the pixelart is simple but expressive, and the global idea is executed well.
(I'm just confused as if the game was supposed to crash at the end ?)
Nice job ! I really like the idea, but I have to agree with other comments that the controls are hard to use. For some parts I just fiddled around. The "looking around" part is really interesting too.
The game is really hard, due to the really small space you have to maneuver. Also, since the ship flips when turning I find it hard to tell where it's gonna go. But else, fantastic work ! The procedural generation was impressive, the graphics gave a great aestetic to the game and the sound design fit perfectly.
Really cool mechanic ! I felt the tension when you had to stop to avoid ennemies. The SFX are on point, and the overall is really good.
I love the art style you're going for, curious to see how it's going to play.
After testing it, I can say I still loved the look but it was really hard to understand how to play without clear visual and sound feedback. Too bad ! It was an interesting concept.
I really liked the ambience set up by this short game ! It's amazing how, in this short time, you managed to create this whole universe. Although as stated before, I don't really see how it fits the theme ? Still a great experience ^^
The overall was nice to play, feeling like you're solving some kind of big enigma (loved the small touches of humor) but I didn't find it that hard or challenging, since there is no time limit or specific actions/sequences to do to decode the messages. Maybe adding a limited time would add some spice to the game ! Still, good job to you all ^^
It's really fun and well put together. Controls are smooth and rather intuitive, the different devices snap into place easily ! I just had a really hard time figuring out how each thing worked.
In terms of graphics the game is great, the assets were integrated perfectly, the sound design is good, but I think the gameplay itself wasn't perfectly polished - the concept was good, but as said by other comments the difficulty is frustrating.
To me it lied mostly in details, like taking damage launches you way too far and can get you in a damage loop easily, or having some hazards perfectly synced while others aren't (which makes timing jumps difficult). Having to start over entirely was really dicouraging too.
Still, good work to your team !
Nearly a full 5/5 ! A simple mechanic used well, that makes for a great game. And the narrative was good too, managing to even feel like memories that could be read on way or another. The graphics contributed to it too, and the visual effects and mechanics were well polished.
So, in short: good job !
Tried it, loved it. It looks so nice and polished for a Jam game ! Everything fits perfectly. I just couldn't get my anxiety down, as I didn't understand how to properly sing it seems ? Amazing job !
Welp, the game was a lot of spamming sword attack while on the grandma. Since ennemies do't damage you, it was pretty easy - there was the concept of an escort mission, but the execution wasn't great.
thanks.png Thank you so much everyone !
I liked the idea, but the execution wasn't great. The fish got stuck several times, there was no visual or sound feedback for ennemy action or yours, and, well, really short content.
But hey, still good job making a game ^^ There was a concept, there were graphics, you just lacked some polishing ! Also for making the link more visible you can place the link in the appropriate place in the page or use a Markdown link: `[Keep The Fish Alive on itch.io](fren6.itch.io/keep-the-fish-alive)`
The game was pretty fun, and had amazing art ! But maybe the area was a bit too big, because without good landmarks I got lost pretty quick. But else, good job !
Damn, that was hard ! I had a hard time percieving what was the error, and when 3/4 of the mice broke at the same time, it was over.
Impressive work with the graphics and sound design, good idea, that's a nice game !
Okay, it's beautiful. The environments were detailed enough to be believable, the lights and efect were perfectly mastered. Gameplay was simple enough and with a bit of challenge (even if dodging the turrets was really easy), so even with 10fps I managed to finish the game in one run :D !
Great job to everyone !
Great art, nice concept and good execution !
The game was fun, it was rewarding to understand progressively how each mechanic worked, and what flow of actions I should follow. And except for the graphics (although I really liked the simplistic style), everything was pretty solid.
It was really hard for me to understand how things worked, but overall it's good.
I love the general mood, great work on the ambience ! Although I kinda felt without a purpose at first.
I really liked the idea, but the way the game is laid doesn't let it use its mechanics to their full potential. Otherwise, great job ! The ambiance is nicely setup, sound design does the job and the spider thing is perfectly creepy ^^
It's interesting, I tried the game thinking it would be a puzzle platformer where you use a single (but great) mechanic to pass levels... and it was more of an exploration/adventure game instead ! So I was a bit thrown off at first, but the game is great. Had to use the walkthrough to solve some riddles though.
So great work in definitive, congrats !
Wow, that was amazing ! The puzzles were interesting, and the time loop is well implemented - I got used to it very quickly, and after some time it became natural. As alway, good art and just enough juice, so generally a great experience !
Only issue (but at this point it's just nitpicking): I feel like the gravity while falling is perfect (giving it more impact), but the jump gravity (gravity while jumping up) is a bit too strong, making it hard to control. It's not a big issue since you mostly use ladders to go up, but a lighter gravity while jumping might feel better imo ^^
But apart from that, congrats ! It's near perfect.
I'm really sorry, the game looked great but without more precise instructions on how to launch it with the included emulator I couldn't play it
THAT right here is the kind of games I love ! Thanks you for this short - but amazing - experience.
I really liked it, the peaceful soundtrack and drum sounds made for a calm experience. But the control scheme could get confusing and overwhelming at times - I reached the end by endlessly bouncing off walls in every directions without much control.
But overall great job !
That's
So
Good !
Really I'm extremely impressed, you designed a cool puzzle game that's fun but not too easy, made a lot of levels, and used a simple but efficient art style to create a full game that's beyond jam level. The sounds and music are on point too, really, it's perfect. Congrats !
I liked the concept ! Although even by following the instructions (and managing to light nearly the whole network blue) it seems I couldn't make the opinions change much.
Wow, I really liked the style of this game. The paintings for graphics really gave it a unique feel ! Although from a design perspective, unless there was some hidden mechanic I didn't spot, it's random whenever or not you reach the end - so I just bruteforced my way there :/ But else, great job !
Wooooooo that's a cool idea ! When I understood what I was supposed to do I just started experimenting and running around like crazy... Sadly after a restart I got stuck at the start, the door was closed and the dead guard dialogue was stuck in the "already checked" state so I couldn't get the keycard. But apart from that ? Honestly, it was great.
Really nice game ! The mechanic was original and quite fun, and I got the grasp of it really quickly ! I don't really blame the game for the damage taken, but it's true that sometimes you feel like you *have* to take some damage.
@tadeas-paule yep, I understand perfectly (and was expecting comments on it tbh) - I was really short on SFX at the end... ^^' Glad you took the time to play though !
Yep, that's what I used (Compo rules, every asset is made during the jam), I just ran out of time to make more :) It's pretty great, but mostly for retro sounds.
Honestly, great game ! Although I feel like it would be more logical (and a bit easier, but that's not the main reason) to have a new plane summoned only when you get a point. Welp anyway, that was a good entry with an interesting and challenging design, so good job !
Welp, I guess I finished it...? I tried multiple things to see what made me advance, and I'm not sure what worked - but it did work. Congrats for finishig a game for the compo !
Loved the art ! I think the lack of visual clues or clear distinction between the objects and the background made it a bit hard to navigate at times. But else, good job !
Congrats for your first game jam ! I liked the idea of the time travel, that's a pretty big thing to tackle on. Although it could be improved with animations and more readable textbox, that's a good first ^^
Pretty simple but I liked it ! Figuring out what actions to do in what order and even more, in what time period... Good job overall, it was fun to play.
Nice entry ! It was fun to play, I was cautious at first but sped up like crazy in the end ^^
Haha that's so cute ! I love the SFX and the simple concept, although it's a bit short. Good job !
