Your web link is broken -- 404. **EDIT**: It's fixed now!
The pixel art for each stage of plant growth must have taken ages -- it looks really good! Including the option to speed up time was a great idea, too (although I kept killing my plants through my impatience).
The only suggestion I have to improve things further would be to pick a non-default font next time (e.g. from [Google Fonts](https://fonts.google.com/)). Using a pixel font for the timer and intro text would have brought them up to the same quality level as the rest of the game.
@pennycook It's fixed! I forgot to click to make it public at first. Thanks!
Edit: great suggestion and I entirely agree. Unfortunately I ran out of time and spent the last 90 minutes recording sounds and making the bg music. Thanks again!

Everything about this game is so unique and I really enjoyed it! The attention to detail is great! Nice work! :)
The graphics were great I loved the gameboy colour palette you used! I found the controls for getting the plant into the pot a little tricky sometimes but otherwise it was a nice game!

A relaxing experience. Graphics look really good, nice GameBoy vibes. Gameplay is a bit repetitive, but I do think it fits this sort of game.
Game over, man! XDD Nice work & good concept, but there are times when plant-pot collisions don't work well.
To be completely honest, I did not expect to have this much fun with a plant simulator. But would you look at that, I accidentally spend around ten minutes helping your plant grow. Wonderful job sir!

Seems really interesting but to be honest I wasn't able to grow a single plant, I tried understanding how much water to use, I tried different pots and I tried trimming but nothing seemed to work.
I liked the chill mood of the game, and the fact that you can go at your own pace, litteraly keeping the game open on your computer while doing something else, only checking every now and then to water your plants :) (it's still open on my side btw x) )
I think that's a good take on the theme, and a quite unusual submission thanks to this "pace"!
Great job for this!
Intresting
Really nice calming game, I did have some issues where either the plant wouldn't grow or the water level wouldn't go down, but managed to make a little jungle anyway. Really like the concept, the art style, the audio, all felt like it had a consistent aesthetic. Great effort!

Very cute game!! :) Would love to see more.
@itsonrandom So.. there is a hidden mechanic in the game that is hinted at by the title screen text. Roots grow. But like in real life, you can't see them! As they grow, they reach deeper into the pot and the pot needs less water, so it may have the right amount of water for a number of hours. But! If the roots out grow the pot, the plant will die, even with the right amount of water.
Like in real life, it's hard keep plants alive (and growing)
Thanks for playing!
The documentation/guide provided in the description is really thorough and a big help! This game is really unique and it's aesthetic is great. Would love to see the concept taken further!
Thank you for the description-tutorial, it is very good idea, that a lot of authors forget to do. Very unique game(excellent realization), that doesn't try to be gamer's babysitter.
P.S. I tried twice and didn't succeed to grow even the first plant. They died! All of them!

That was so relaxing ! Yeah, when I got my first plant to grow it was only a matter of time before I flooded the screen with new sprouts. The concept is good, and the execution too (but yeah, it can be a bit hard to place plants in pots).
Really nice aesthetic and concept. It was simple and relaxing, yet challenging (much like the real thing)! I spent a good 10 minutes cultivating my two little plants. Nice job on this!
like the gb palette. cute game which hits the theme nicely, good job :)
