Neat puzzle game! Really quick to pick up and understand the mechanics. As some others have said it would be nice if the viewport was a little bigger and also if there was some music.

Really liked the music and graphics. The RNG makes this game a little bit too hard as there were several times where i couldn't give a cat/baby what it wanted because it just didn't appear on the belt and didn't have the money to buy it (which was very frustrating). I also found a few times that trying to drag an item of the belt i couldn't seem to grab it, took a few times before it actually got picked up.
Good little game! Smooth mechanics, neat graphics and fun to play. Didn't encounter any bugs or problems playing it.
Good little game! Smooth mechanics, neat graphics and fun to play. Didn’t encounter any bugs or problems playing it. edit: Huh this got posted twice..
Nice game that matches the theme. Quick to pick up and play.
This was great! concept was great and worked really well with theme. The game got progessively more difficult as time went on but not too slow/fast. Only thing i would say is the sounds were a bit piercing and irritating.
Great work! Really good theme both with matching the theme of LD and having a message in the game. Graphics were great, gameplay worked really well. Sound was good but that music was a tiny bit repetitive.
Really liked the simple Graphics and Audio for this game. They worked really well to set the theme. Neat little puzzle game too.
Really nice idea. Well executed as well, the gameplay is smooth and graphics are really neat. It was easy to pick up and play as well.
Game could of done with a tutorial but otherwise was really cool. Nice little puzzle game with good graphics and mechanics!
Really nice game! Loved the graphics and sound effects. Reminded me of games on the SNES era consoles. It would of been good if in the game you had instructions to show what flowers looked like that needed watering etc.
Really liked this game! Looks great and runs really well.
Mechanics of the game worked well, the thing i would suggest is that i found myself sitting at the beginning just staring at the game with no way to make my influence go up quicker. If there was some way i could increase my influence so i could unlock zones a bit faster then i would of enjoyed the game more.
Graphics for this game was really nice and i loved the concept. Matched really well with the theme
Really enjoyed playing this game! Mechanics worked really well and it was quick and easy to play.
I like the new take on classic snake games! It was interesting having to line yourself up to eat your own body rather than eat food in the arena. I think i would agree with @undefinist here. The controls made it harder for me at the start than it could of been. After a while i got used to pressing left or right but did mean at beginning i struggled to play the game.
Fun game with good mechanics. Enjoyed playing it but could of had a bigger difficulty curve. I found that after a while i just ended the game than the game ended me.
The graphics are audio are fantastic. They work really well. The premise is great too, it's a neat little puzzle game.
@ludum1118 @plukers @squidly @c0nst4ntin @kmce @angela-k - Thank you all for the kind and critical feedback. It's good to know the areas that we should spend a bit more time on next time we create a game!
Thanks everyone! @the-shadermaster - I'm happy to hear you noticed and thought the graphics were glitching out because that was the effect i was going for. As you noticed, they are viruses so i wanted them to be glitchy. @zayah0-0 - unfortunately that is a bug, we think it's because when the spawned rabbits spawn they briefly collide with your rabbit which causes you to move. We didn't find a way to fix it in time or properly diagnose it so i guess it's a "feature". @jokku - Thank you for the feedback, in future i may go for a slower speed but we wanted a kind of manic feel to it and the fast movement speed definitely added that. Although i guess we could of lowered it a tiny bit.
Liked the puzzle concept and the sound effects. The mechanism of storing boxes and moving to trucks fitted well with the theme. The problem i had was the controls; they made this way harder than it needed to be and i found myself getting overly frustrated with them. The robot felt very slippery and hard to control.
Was quick to pick up and play. Well created and smooth mechanics, neat graphics. Only thing i would of liked is if the music didn't restart everytime you died as it became quite jarring. Also when using the arrow keys i couldn't press the up arrow to jump so an alternative like space would of been nice!
Graphics were really neat and the premise of the game was cool. As someone said earlier it was weird that your character attacked horizontally but the notes came vertically.
I really liked this game. The sound, graphics, gameplay and theme all worked really well. It had good humor and was quick to pick up and play. The only issue i had with it is that you've gone for a steps based game (as in you can only make certain number of moves) but then also added some time based things in there. Like the powerup having a timeout. For the powerup there was nothing stopping me or no reason for me to just wait until it came off cooldown and then use it again. Which meant i just stood there for a bit.
Congratulations on your first Jam game! This game had very smooth mechanics and was very pretty! As someone else pointed out it would of been nice to use more distinguisable colours for people who are colour blind etc but otherwise was fun!
Nice game! Has a easy to pick up and play feel and runs really smoothly. The only gripe i have with it is that it would be nice if there was a shadow or something where the toys were going to fall. There was a couple of times where a toy fell on me out of nowhere and did damage.
Nice game! Audio loop could of been longer but the game ran really nice and smooth for me and was fun!
Couldn't get game to run. Said it was missing a DLL file.
I enjoyed playing this game! Couple of things i noticed: Music is incredibly quiet, i didn't notice it playing in background for ages. Pace is a tiny bit slow, the game definitely picks up later when you hit the wall of plastic coming but it takes a while to get there. Otherwise gameeplay mechanic is very smooth and i didn't encounter any bugs while playing.
This was a fun take on a Tetris like game. Having to control both the goblin and treasure for the backpack added a level of complexity and difficulty that made the game challenging. The only thing that would of been nice would be some power up or something to help remove items. For example at the start i messed up and blocked my backpack entrance off which meant i couldn't move anything in for the rest of the game.
Otherwise it was a neat little game!
I really enjoyed this game! The graphics and gameplay were really good and it was quite challenging!
I loved it! :D So simple but a great narrative over the top of it.
This game had a really good atmosphere. Like others at the start i was not really sure what to make of it but i'm glad i stuck with it. The lighting/shadow effect worked really well with the mood and the phone mechanism worked well too!
A really nice game! Loved the graphics and audio loop and a cool concept!
A simple yet challenging game! The art and sound worked well together and the gameplay loop and difficulty curve were easy to pickup and steadily got more challenging as time went on.
Brilliant game! Graphics, audio and game mechanics were all fantastic! The tutorial was really good as well although possibly a little long? This honestly looks like an actual paid game rather than a ludum dare entry!
A really nice short game with good puzzle elements. For 3 days it also looks really good as the lighting and shadow elements work really well. Good job!
The graphics in this were incredible! Also the gameplay mechanics worked really well.
really good game and incredibly challenging! I found splitting my concentration between the robot or the helicopter was a real struggle. I'd either forget to jump or forget to shoot the enemies in time. Otherwise i enjoyed it!
The graphics were great I loved the gameboy colour palette you used! I found the controls for getting the plant into the pot a little tricky sometimes but otherwise it was a nice game!
The art in this game is beautiful and while a short game it has some really nice mechanics and is very well polished. I would encourage you to continue developing this as it has good potential!
This game was so simple but so addictive! Once i realized that i couldn't just immediately sacrifice the cultists without first getting enough money/notority to sustain the cult i really enjoyed the game. The graphics amd sound effects worked really well!
Really nice game and great platforming! The soundtrack is epic as well! I really like the effect you had where it looked like it was being viewed on an old CRT monitor.
This was a great game! The different camera movements and changes kept it entertaining all the way to the end and it worked so smoothly. The simple graphics worked really well too!
@wizzardmaker - Thank you i'm glad you liked the fire sound effect. If you're interested in finding out how i made it then i put some details in this blog post: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/feed-the-fire/compo-complete-and-creating-sound-effets
@bit-assembly - That's an interesting bug and i'm not sure how i missed it! Doh!
I enjoyed this game! Well done! The graphics are really cool and remind me of the first Game Boy. Concept is really cool too!
The game mood and artisitc style is really good. The animations look smooth and the audio design/music is great as well. However i have no idea what i'm doing or where i'm going in the game so i got completely lost and ended up just randomly jumping through portals in the hope of making progress. Maybe that's the idea though.
I like this game! A unique idea and a fun quick play! Good work!
So i played the Jam version for the review. I enjoyed the game but probably the most frustrating thing i found was that i didn't know which houses were shops and so compeltely missed the shop where you could buy new tools. Otherwise the game mechanics worked well and the controls were fine. Audio and graphics were good too!
This was a really neat puzzle game. I liked the aesthetics for it and the simple gameplay mechanic. Even though the premise was simple it got very challenging towards the end! I would say the two things that i found: 1. It would be nice if the tutorials appeared without you having to fail/wait a while when you're learning the mechanics. 2. It would be good to have a button to press to reset if i realise i've messed up rather than have to wait for hte triangle to hit the edge of the screen.
I loved how creepy this game was! Really good mood to it and as said above having a touch of comedy in it also was great.
The mood and the graphics in this game are incredible!
Not sure if it's a bug or not but when i looked at the controls while playign the game i couldn't go back to playing the game. Otherwise a neat game!
I really enjoyed this game. The graphics and music were great. I loved how the music sped up as the portal shrunk. I did find it a little easy though as whatever happened i could just put the portal back up to full health so ended up challenging myself by not doing that and seeing how long i could last. Also the music loop wasn't quite a full loop and there was a pause at the end before it started again. Otherwise a really good game!
So owning tabletop simulator meant i could try out this game  This game was a really bold and interesting entry for a Ludum Dare and i found it a very fun and challenging game. It took me a little while to get used to the rules and gameplay but once i did i really enjoyed the game and it kept me going for longer than other submissions i've played. The graphics and details on the card worked well and there was a good level of complexity to it. As someone else said, a way to mark a card resource as used (e.g. bird bath) would be useful but otherwise it all worked well.
Well done on a unique and great entry to the compo!
A super simple but well executed game. It worked really well and i enjoyed playing it. My only gripe was that the controls took a litlte to get used to as i didn't expect the guy to feel like he was on ice but otherwise good work!
This was a really nice game! Graphics were simple but nice and game was really easy to pick up and play. I loved it.
So unfortunately i got an error at the beginning about the particle system (which was fine allowed me to still play the game) but when i went too far left and found the monster the game failed to load to the next scene 'iniscene' or something and the game stopped working so i couldn't exit without alt-f4ing it.
I loved this game! It was rock hard but the concept and graphics were really cool. The song was great, but a bit jarring that it restarted the song everytime you restarted a level or moved a level. Great work!
This was a really lovely and peaceful game. The graphics were simple but basic and the fish AI was really relaxing to watch them swim around. The idea was very unique as well and worked well.
This was a really good idea for a game and i love that you created a multiplayer game during the Compo and with an offline mode too! I think that the graphics could of been better but i'm guessing you used a lot of time to create the multiplayer/AI. Really good concept and i commend you for entering a multiplayer game!
Interesting game idea. I found it difficult feedback wise sometimes to tell i was moving down other than the bar at the top moving. Maybe a cosntantly scrolling background or something would of helped. Either way good job!
I really liked this game, i'm guessing you took inspiration from turmoil but added your own twist to it! Nice job on this one!
A really well polished, atmospheric game! Nice job!
Really nice graphics and a neat game loop too! Good work!
I found that several of the times i clicked to drop a body they landed on the edge. Once they did fall it was interesting to watch them fall down the mineshaft and bounce off objects!
Really nice job on this card game! I didn't hear any sound though not sure if that's a bug or was intended
This was a really innovative idea. The actual game itself is simple but the mechanism to play the game really stands this out from the rest. However, that is almost it's curse as it will be a little bit of a blocker for some people (Although you clearly thought of that adding the helper and cheat mode. Nice job!)
Good work! It's a solid submission for the game jam. I think a longer audio loop would of been nicer but equally i liked the way it sounded like the sound was always descending even though i think it was an auditoriy illusion (?)
This was a really fun game. I liked having to juggle processing aliens, sorting aliens & remembering to breathe! The game introduced the mechanics nicely and although the keys to breathe in and out where awkwardly apart i feel that was a really nice mechanic in the game and added a bit of extra challenge!
Nice job on making this game in 5 hours! The graphics and core game loop wokr well. For sound i think the most noticeable thing for me was that the sound effects seemed to be quite sharp over the music but also the music seemed to have a very simple loop that repeated fast. However, this is nicely done in just 5 hours!
@j0ye @david-horning @ben-taylor @awesomezebra - Thank you!!
@samguy - Thank you! Yea i would of loved to add a second or third room and technically everything code wise was ready to do it but i wasn't going to have time to create the art for it and implement so focussed on just the one room. That's also a good piece of feedback about getting told when you'd clicked something, i realised i needed to indicate when something was interactable but forgot to say that you had started the interaction!
@xpycm - Thank you for the feedback, i guess i could of added a pointing arrow or something to indicate to click the exit.
@antonishig @itsonrandom @yulotomorrow @m11 - Thank you!
As said a bit above, click and hold would of been nice but i loved the sound effects you created for this!
I always try to make sure to play tablestop simulator games because it's always refreshing to see a submission in a different format than made in Unity or GameMaker Studio. The art work of the cards is clear and easy to spot and the rules are easy to follow. I really enjoyed this game!
A nice cookie clicker game built to the theme. One thing that would of been really nice would have been if i clicked away from screen the game continued running. I think there was a play in background option in Unity HTML5 player settings for that but maybe i'm misremembering
This game is absolutely beautiful and the music sounds great. It's a shame that you weren't able to finish it in time but still what you produced is really well made!
I started off thinking that it was a really simple push-block game but then it started to blow my mind. Really nice job on this, simple graphics, music and controls mean it's easy to play but a real brain teaser in places!
I really liked the art style and the idea of the game! It's solidly implemented as well. I think one thing i struggled with was finding the fish in each step. Maybe something like a sonar that can be used once every so often would help, otherwise i found myself swimming around for ages trying to find the last fish on a step.
A really pretty game with great music. However i found if i stayed at the top of the screen i missed all of the rocks ;) I also dunno if it was a bug but i was always alone on the road except for the rocks...
Missing download link :(
A really interesting concept for a game! I found grabbing the uranium out of the air a bit fiddly but jumping up and down between the different floors (with time moving differently between each floor) was a nice idea!
Really stable and well built game. I didn't understand how to control/force the zombies to spawn and go the direction i wanted which meant they tended to wander off down the coriddor i'd just dug out. But othewise good job!
I love a good SCP game however the nature of SCP-087 makes for a very repeitive game... But good work adding in the very SCP-esq feeling and good jumpscares too. Audio and graphics were great and the mood generated was incredible.
Really liked the graphic style, it was easy to distinguish the different enemy types and spot the incoming fire. Controls worked really well and were smooth/responsive! Nice job!
Really cute little game! I was doing so well against the CPU and then it overtook me at the last fall cause i hit a thorny bush!
Really liked the art style although i did find it a bit hard to see the door.
Easy to pickup but hard to master. The plane has an interesting control scheme which ensures challenge to the game! Reminds me of the old helicopter game where you flew through a cave and clicked to raise up.
I enjoyed this game! It was nicely addictive to see how deep i could go and the upgrades system seemed well balanced. Nice work!
A nice entry! I found the music was a bit piercing though with the very high notes! I really liked the art style though!
I really liked this game. It's well implemented, the graphics/sounds are simple yet effective and the game play loop is easy to understand and play. It's also easy to finish a level but hard to finish a level in a couple of shots. Really nicely done! The only negative i've spotted is that you introuded a spring mechanic in one level but then didn't use it again. Water, sand, lava all had multiple levels. I got 91 as my score for the 18 hours.
Congrats on your first entry and game! The controls work well and i found it easy to control where the maiden would go. However, something i struggled with was the hitbox for the maiden. It seemed to be bigger than the actual sprite so i kept hitting the wall when i thought i could make it through. Either way a solid entry!
A nice game with interesting mixture of mining deeper and swimming deeper!
A really nice idea for the jam! The graphics are simple but effective at conveying the environment, the gameplay loop is easy to pickup but harder to master. Some audio would of been nice but otherwise a solid entry!
Nice work on this submission! It kind of feels like a reverse minesweeper!
Feels like i'm playing twister with my fingers! Really tough game with trying to multitask avoiding things and grabbing stuff under the seat!
A really nice game with an innovative version of the theme! It's a shame it was short but well made!
Nice stable game! Btw you've put the itch.io link to the game (where we can play it online) at the top in the description but in the HTML specific link box you've put a link to dropbox so it looks like you can't play this game online (without downloading and running a local webserver). Maybe switch those over to make it more accesible for people!
