Wow. Love the b/w style, it has a really nice retro feel. Walking in the room filled with fire traps without seeing the exit was a fantastic climax Great work!!

@sode I see! I checked back error log: line 13, 'point.wav' is the problem (the file is Uppercase, the string lower), I am on arch. (just to provide you the whole issue details)
Despite its simplicity it makes for a nice short game. The music is really good! Also, the visual hints about upcoming threats is very clever.
I made a similar game (but for the compo), so I had to check this out. I love how smooth the controls are. Big up for the music, it is perfect for setting the mood! Great work!!

The visuals are awesome, the controls accurate. The obvious exploitation was not to dig up any gold, and see how deep I could go.. But I soon got stuck in stone dead ends :(

Nice combination of puzzle and platformer, the overall mood is really cool. The only thing slightly annoying is not restarting immediately the level after dying, but seeing again and again the xxx meters under the sea level (it is a cool feature, but I die too many times 😅
I do not know if it is only me, but arrow up for jump does not work (I mention it because left and right arrows do work, no problems using wasd).

Awesome. The controls feel very smooth. As others pointed, it is a bit repetitive to wait for camera to go back up, especially when you dig really deep. Great work!
I am not a fan of twine, but I must say this game has its own personality. The art is stunning. I don't know if it is only my problem, but when I get to the lake, the image "drink1.png" does not load.
