Like @5n1p3r-4r73m1s said the game looked realy good but some less micro manage ment would make the game more enjoyable like in the first room(I don't know how many rooms there are becouse I never got throu the brother section) where you have to constantly go back downstairs to change active paintings I suggest to make a jump run or make the character just move faster, but if you want to get rid of the switching that woud be great :) good luck

David Markham I am only a 11 years old kid that just made his 3 game I had a ot of problems like my dad being realy angry at me becouse I didn't sleep. The game wasn't originaly for windows thats why there are the bugs and the flying aliens are just a function of my AI.

Nice game could you ad a true fullscreen mode not just the fullscreen windowd as the white bar kind of braks the immersion when you get high up on the map

Ok I have had this problem with a few games but windows says that your game is a virus.
Nice game exept that ctrl is a bad down button in a web game as ctrl R is book mark and ctrl something is shut down
I think I have worse controlls xD also this game feels kind of like a big escort quest that you complete by sitting on top of one of the blobs as you are too slow to help them all feels a bit like Missile command where you had to defend cities from missiles coming from the sky. Well done and congratulations on your first ludum dare submissionn!

The game is way too easy otherwise u could add some more towers or tower upgrades :)
You should probably look into some tiling tricks so it doesn't look so odd here is how to do that in blender if that is what you use for example your house models or floors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VgtSL5ZpYc&t=1204s and you might want proceadualy generate from a single seed and go on from there that way the terrain looks more natural as you have some odd spiky things here is an amazing series about that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbpMiKiSKm8&list=PLFt_AvWsXl0eBW2EiBtl_sxmDtSgZBxB3 remember just to copy the terrain while in play mode so the noise doesn't change hope I could help @axefall :)
Nice game but I got stuck on corners realy easily.

@ilya-nazarov ok thankyou for making it playble I ended up pressing a lot of keys on the coun't down and flying up to the sky (I did another run and ate 11 things)
@thedoctoroftime you could make it a litle shorter as I couldn't get to the highest platform due to a lack of skill so I just sat for minutes waiting

This was fun I spawned those blocks until the game stopped working... At one point I heard a loud BANG and everything was gone
This was a really nice jam game just short enough but not too short really liked it
This was one of the greatest games I have played yet a short tutorial in game could be nice

@pixelportalz if you have python installed on linux you can run it there as I included the source code with the download.
@antonishig at first it was moving continously but that made the game way harder so that is why I didn't keep i and used the grid system that is still in the game. For linux my distro (parrot OS) ran it fine even with uppercase letters
@quinn-patrick the sound effect is just something I kept from at the start of the jam when the game was very different and the same is with the movement as I kept it the same from my strategy game idea so @kszaku that is why it doesn’t feel quite right it’s because it isn’t
@sinusquell quick question what is your screen resolution?
@mrosegreen there is a depth counter and I had a problem where the game is stupidly hard on lower resolutions and trivialy easy on higher resolutions (I tested 1440p 1080p 900x1400(on mac witch doesn't allow fullscreen so a bit less tall around 830) and 768p)
@tris250 No the game doesn't incude anything that should trigger antimalware. The only thing I can think of is that it imports sys and os witch you don't need so you can go and delete that line or I can give you a more compressed version if you have python on your computer
Man that upload was cluttered maybe put the source code and the game in diffrent folders? I fear many peapole will be discouraged from playing your game becouse of this you had great art but you can't stay still even if you hold W.
You should get better menus I suggest you use something like text mesh pro to make your text look nicer
If you use unity don't use itch.io's built in full screen button. The game didn't load in the web gl version otherwise good game

I fear I didn't get it at first I went to the engine room and refilled my o2. After that I swam around for a while and I think I clipped through a wall.

This game should have been shorter didn't hit a single red object and it took forever
A minimap like super Metroid could be nice or a feature that keeps your last commands
I fear that I missed something cuz it just seems like a walking sim without any story. At first I thought it was a horror game but there was nothing scary. You move way too fast and are too floaty for a walking sim or a horror game it just feels like an arena shooter with no enemies.
You really should have included a tutorial but this was the first game that actually worked for me so great job
You had such a great game but the fact that there are so many leaps of faith and you can't see where you are jumping made me die so many times I can't give you guys a good fun score otherwise one of the best games I have seen
@wafflecomposite that is just a problem you can't solve if you trust me you can run anyway. Ok I could do that yesterday but doesn't seem to work anymore I will ping everyone here once I get the game running. update I did some reading and turns out windows just flags everything until it has enough users and auto-py-to-exe packages the libraries in the exe so it is flagged twice...

I kinda feel like the game would have been better without the little UI telling me where they would land I would just angle the board so that they never actually landed.
You should add some enemies that stop you from just kiting
