You should scale UI with screen size to make the game playable with smaller screens also I have no idea what I was suposed to do
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Deep Exploration

Hard to figure out what to do at the begining, but game is awsome after some time spend, nice ambient and cool funny graphics. Like the idea of horned fish!
Incredible ambience/mood! Wow
Generally speaking, not a bad concept. The actual gameplay is satisfying, weaving around danger and collecting powerups. It can definitely be clearer how you work within the game. So, maybe more feedback to the player about when they get powerups and stuff like that. The audio-cues seemed a little buggy, which really hurt the game when they became so important in the darkness.
The art and music were a little incoherent, but I guess those are because it's a prototype more than anything else.
I think the prototype works. It's a working proof-of-concept for a diving game. It's not the best as it is, but it has potential.
Really cool! When I got super deep, I accidentally let my energy run out, and when the light turned off it was very eerie. Cool stuff!
Nice and atmospheric game. A few instructions at the beginning would be nice though, but it was fairly easy to figure out what to do so that wasn't too big of a problem (I may have missed something though). I also auto-collected a few upgrades when I was clicking fast to dive down faster, maybe you could have done right click to dive and left click to confirm upgrades so you cannot autocollect them without having a choice.
Like the music a lot. Also a nice balance between energy, health and light. Didn't realize first that I need to kill other fish, but once I did the game became much more fun! :)
Unfortunate that you can't vote the Audio because this really was awesome :O At least I could give you a good Mood voting therefor :)
Liked the simple controls and concept. Found a bit weird having so many styles of art through the game (pixel art, mixed with some low res art, and then some well animated enemies). Overall it was fun. Good one.
I like the concept but it needs more work to feel like a game. Currently all you really do is hold left click until you run out of energy and have to kill some enemies. I found that even if I run out of energy, if I keep going straight down, I'll eventually run into some that I cant even see which allows me to recharge my energy before I'm anywhere near dying. I recommend adding more useful upgrades like faster swim speed, more damage, more armor, maybe some new attacks. Then think about adding new more aggressive enemies, and obstacles like rocks, caves, hazards, etc.
But great job getting this out in 72 hours. I hope you guys consider putting more work into this as it has potential to be a fun experience
Solid game, very creative and overall really well done. Loved the lighting idea, and the having to kill things in order to power up. Well balanced and generally nice looking! Well done!
Nice idea! The music is amazing and helped a lot for the mood. After having figured out the mechanics, the game is pretty enjoyable. On the improvement side, the UI at the start does not scale properly within the browser so I had to open it in Full screen to start the game. It would also have been nice to have some sort of explanation about the mechanics - would it only have been some text on this page.
Nice submission, great ambience!
As a small improvement, I would make the smallest circle of light a bit bigger, because it's like playing blind.
Cool game. I like the jousting-esque combat, and would love to see it after more time and polish.
