LD42 — Running out of space

Warp Tunnel by TheMonsterFromTheDeep 2018-08-13T18:07:15Z

It was very enjoyable and it had very nice graphics. One thing I would like to mention is that on the final boss fight, you can just fly above where the ships are spawning, and sit there shooting the boss without having to deal with the ships (until you kill the boss, then you have to kill them).

Borderblast by C0nst4ntin 2018-08-15T12:27:28Z

A cool concept, and the graphics were really nice. My only problem with it is that the jumping felt quite floaty.

EVOLUTION by Noa Calice 2018-08-13T13:18:57Z

It had really nice graphics, and was very polished. My only issue was that you would have to click that last building multiple times to be able to pick it up.

OVERKILL by earnso 2018-08-13T13:27:58Z

The graphics and music were amazing, and the gameplay was good too. My one complaint would be that you have to shoot in the same direction you are moving (though this is more of a personal preference thing).

Humanagement by Noah J 2018-08-13T13:08:09Z

The game is really fun, and I liked the idea. Though I agree with TontonPizza that a little audio feedback to remind you that you can't erase a letter would be nice.

Trashy Universe by BrownRiceStudio 2018-08-13T03:16:38Z

I also agree with tuism, the movement being in the same direction as where you are shooting lends itself to the player standing still and just shooting. As other have said, a forewarning system would be nice too. Other than that the game is pretty solid and also had enjoyable music.

Defragmentare: Bring Order to Chaos by monkeydom 2018-08-13T12:52:44Z

It is a really cool idea that you executed amazingly. The graphics were quite nice, and the difficulty curve was very balanced. My one complaint is that I couldn't find what button to press to quit the game, so a list of what keys did what would be nice.

The Killer Blue Tiles by Alisiena 2018-08-13T12:30:27Z

A very cool concept, and the installer was quite nice. Though the "Next Level" button broke after a few levels. Also a few of the greens dots required you to spam the keys a lot.

I accidentally posted my comment twice and can't figure out how to delete comments, so please ignore this one.

This game is so incredibly polished and has very fun gameplay. It's my favorite game from this Ludum Dare by far.

Beyond Space by Allan Kong 2018-08-13T03:07:03Z

The gameplay was very fun, though the gun didn't feel very powerful (Maybe add a particle effect when it hits or shoots), and the lasers moved very slowly. The controls were pretty good, and the background was very nice.

Gunning Out of Space by NikTheNarwhal 2018-08-13T03:11:02Z

It was pretty fun. One problem is that the bullets come out of the side of the gun, instead of the barrel. The art style was very nice though.

LD44 — Your life is currency

Your Life Is Currency by AdmiralSpaceKraken 2019-04-29T21:37:02Z

@fedorl I didn't realize that I had to make a separate build for Linux, sorry. Also, the site won't let me update it now (because the time is up), so I can't fix it now.

Your Life Is Currency by AdmiralSpaceKraken 2019-05-02T01:46:14Z

@mikelovesrobots It seems I made that mistake again. I didn't realize I had to make separate builds for each operating system, and at this point Ludum Dare won't let me add new builds to the site.

@luckyfeathers Thank you for the feedback and the kind words! I agree with all the points you made and will definitely keep them in mind when I make my next game.

Cyber Radiation by Alex Stacciarini 2019-05-01T23:34:43Z

I thoroughly enjoyed the game, though the movement felt a tad bit too floaty/momentum based, maybe use Input.GetAxisRaw instead of Input.GetAxis. Though even with the floaty movement the game was very fun, good job!

Pilling Debt by MasterProject 2019-04-30T23:57:49Z

The game was really fun, and the graphics and music were very nice as well!
