I'm not huge on puzzle platforming, and I gotta say this was surprisngly fun for me... and for something made in 48 hours. Very impressed.
Superb game! The puzzles are designed really well, and they teach the players about the mechanics, like how one level make you learn that you teleport up one block if you place it at your feet.
Though there were some minor issues. I was stuck at the beginning because I didn't know I could only pick up dirt, but things were rolling once I figured it out. Also the audio was a bit crackly, but I'm guessing it was a game engine problem. The block pickup/place noise was a bit quiet in contrast to the rest of the sound effects.
I like this game a lot. It takes my previous knowledge from puzzles to apply to the next levels in a new way. Simply amazing, I can really appreciate this. My favorite game so far :)
Really fun puzzle game, wouldn't mind watching someone speed run the game in all honesty. The music and sound effects good as well. Good job on this entry!
That was an excellent game! There were some great puzzles there, a couple that had me stumped for a bit, but I figured it out.
I could play puzzle games like this for hours. Effective mechanics that can create virtually infinite amount of puzzles with. I love it. I don't know how many levels there are but I went down pretty far. Impressed by the amount of puzzles you were able to design in 48 hours. Nice job.
Thanks for the feedback, everyone!
@adrocodes Thanks for the feedback! I'm really interesting in speedrunning, so I normally find myself speedrunning when testing my games. There a definitely a few interesting skips and tricks in the game.
I like how you gave us a little sandbox area to play with at the end. That was cool. (The game itself was cool too, obviously.)
This was really clever! Definitely the best game i've played so far!
Things I liked: - great theme - great music tool to use for jams; good music - sfx fight in well - great art - fun game mechnic - very well polished final product
Improvements: - maybe add in a built in timer for people wanting to speed run? - Add a new block that adds new dynamics to levels; perhaps one that behaves differently based on what type of block it's on?
Bugs: - Didn't find any

Thank you very much for your entry - I hope you had great fun making it
Very nice mechanics and very approachable game - it's really self explaining - good job :thumbsup_tone1:
I hope you'll drop by mine and give it a spin

I really liked this game this could go on steam right now and no one would know this was made in 48h
This was really fun, simple but clever puzzles on each screen and nice pacing with introducing new mechanics over time. Great job!
This game is really great, the character, the graphics and the music are excellent, the game is very funny, a kind of puzzle.
To recommend
This is a really nice compo entry with some really good level design.
I like that you drop a block at your feet and so can use it to step up. It create some interesting puzzle.
I loved this game, definitely one of my favourites from this jam. Good puzzle design, a clean aesthetic and art style, nice music. I can't even think of any small criticisms. I just kept wanting to play more.
Really really good game here! I was about to give up in the first room that the green blocks were introduced, the puzzle seemed impossible. It was pure luck that I jumped and landed on them and noticed the trampoline effect. Glad I found that and kept going, the rest of the game was very fun!
Only suggestion I have is to make it more obvious that the green blocks are trampolines. Perhaps an animation or even just text that shows up the first time they're introduced. And if you keep developing the game (which I hope you do) I'd keep that in mind for future block types that you add. Make sure that the player is spending their time figuring out the puzzle, not figuring out how the game works.
@mhorth Thanks for the advice! I didn't think about the fact that the use for the block wasn't entirely obvious at first. I'll keep that in mind if I continue to work on the project.
Nice puzzle game. Always glad to see more Godot entries. It took me a while to figure out that I could only pick up blocks to the left or right (and not below). I made it about five room down and then got stuck.
Very nice entry! The pacing of the levels is excellent imo and that is pretty rare in a 48 hour jam! If I had to make one improvement I would make the ladders a little stickier. I found myself being lazy and running straight off the other side of them sometimes. Might make some of the tighter sections more approachable, but the movement is tight enough that it's more of a git gud situation and I kind of like that too. That's about the only critique I can really make, and it is not a big one at all. Great job!
Very solid little set of mechanics and really nice level design. The rules were quick to understand but with surprising depth!
