Rock Monster by Myko 2021-04-25T23:54:25Z

This gives me some mega miner vibes, haha.

I never understood what the iron does, but I think it's what contributed to the extended falls. When those happen, I feel like I'm going on such a huge power trip, just chewing through everything!

Game has simple controls, yet has you making decisions all the time which is great.

In terms of balance, Everything felt right except for the rubies over-abundance. I felt like I could explode whenever I wanted to. But then again, I didn't abuse the explosives, so perhaps the balance is okay for that. Maybe splitting the ruby into 2 different blocks so that ones can explode the field, and one gives you the explosive ability might be something.

Awesome game overall. The graphics are really attractive, and it's what pulled me in to click :)

Dimensions by Tarcisiotm 2021-04-27T06:34:49Z

Nice game. The portal mechanic is fun! I enjoyed the dimension switching mechanic, and the controls felt responsive.

Lost in Thought by Maple 2021-04-26T06:58:19Z

The level transitions are awesome. After the first level, I didnt know to press enter to advance the text.

The game really picks up once the rotation mechanic is introduced. Also the feel of rotating gravity feels just right, where my momentum conservation isnt too intesnse, but just enough.

The level designs are also well done. Each one teaches something different to the player. Some of the later stages really teach you exactly how the mechanics work (like where you have to rotate to reach an exit higher than a double jump). Really well done with the level design! :)

I was able to get through all the levels without skipping any (except the required one). The later levels were a TON of fun! Also very challenging. The ending is so cool to watch.

This is a really awesome game! The music also synergises with the gameplay every so often and it completely hits me with dopamine as I'm jumping & rotating in-action.

It's such a great experience. One of my personal favorites played so far.

Nuclear blaze by deepnight 2021-04-26T21:03:35Z

Amazing game, I really like how there are 3 different styles of shooting to choose from. It makes it simple to play, yet lots of depth. Really fun to explore

Deeper Into Technical Problems by thesambassador 2021-04-27T06:47:18Z

I think that the game is pretty fun. I really like hitting those explosives that land chain attacks. Also I realized that I can fly really far to the left and right to explore a lot of randomly generated content. :)

Unity tilemaps are definitely something that is interesting to say the least; lots to learn there. I still have yet to learn more about that subject myself.

Music bops. There is satisfying game juice. Randomly generated content is always really cool to see. Good game

Need more deep: Donut cover by Kurakurture 2021-04-27T03:19:12Z

I found the donut. Nice.

The camera angle was really neat but the controls felt like a bit of a struggle. Fun little experience nonetheless :)

DeepSea by Chensu 2021-04-26T07:36:22Z

First of all, I really think it's awesome that's it's a relatively open world. It's giving me subnautica vibes which I absolutely enjoy. I'm a huge fan of exploring the underwater areas and see what I can discover.

In some regions of the map, I noticed that theres tons of mines and missiles in a trench. This really piqued my interest to go explore it. Not only that, but it combines with the game design of risk versus reward. The best minerals are surrounded by tons of danger.

It's super hilarious when I die. I laughed out loud the first time I got hit by a missile. The loud noise combined with the camera spinning out of control is amazing.

Personal opinion here, but I feel like the controls could be slightly different to make the them feel more intuitive. Instead of the mouse applying roll to the sub, the a/d keys could do that; the mouse can control aiming left/right.

Really fun game. I have so much fun exploring the trenches and dodging the missiles. :)

Miner Rescue by Vasco Freitas 2021-04-26T04:33:41Z

I really like the graphics. The music has a nice genesis feel. I really appreciate the checkpoints to accommodate for my reckless driving. Solid game with a great flow and presentation.

Blue Eye - Salvage & Rescue by PurpledArtFrog 2021-04-27T03:57:39Z

Nice game! Theres a lot of various charm that I'm seeing here :) I was a little bit confused for touching pickups, but things were going smooth nonetheless. I like the animation of the player swerving. It's nice

Chuck Yeager's Jet Janitor by Shawn Moore 2021-04-26T05:20:50Z

I think the game plays way too fast if playing on a 144hz or 280hz monitor; haha. But for what I was able to play before it got too challenging, it is incredibly charming. The music bops, and the game is actually designed pretty well. Good concept. I like how I take control of many different planes and they are either dumped or meet their demise, haha.

Going Down in Fishstory by Jonas Tyroller 2021-04-27T07:23:27Z

What an amazing experience. The art is absolutely stellar. The audio design is so immersive. The cutscenes are great and super charming.

The main gameplay mechanic is so simple, yet effective. It acts as a means to damage, but also makes you go really fast. This also promotes speedrunning of the game which is always a plus.

It was really neat seeing the fish change their expression as they go, even when Bubblyn inflates. I love the initial dopey happy faces they make at the start. So cute!

The camera also adjusts at just the right times for the fast-moving areas and the slow corridors.

There was one moment where there are two spinning eels, and I was wondering what might be their secret? I even returned back there after reaching the end to bring Booba back with me, but still nothing happens. I feel like I'm missing out on some sort of secret... :3

Definitely a candidate for the best game of the jam in my opinion. This is incredibly special. I'm so glad I found and played this!

Post Ghost by Luizamuller 2021-04-27T06:25:34Z

The music and art is astounding! Very nice. Also I think it's cool that there is a credits screen :)

At first I wasn't aware that I could switch mail by right clicking because I didn't read how to play, but once I figured it out I was on my way. I wasn't aware that my mail was being stolen, so maybe some extra feedback can go a long way here. Also I think it would be more interesting if the mail deliveries could happen more often, as I find myself navigating through the obstacles more than I am delivering mail. But really fun game. I adore the music :3

Red Archer by BadPiggy 2021-04-27T04:49:05Z

I enjoy first person games. They're always so intriguing. Dashing into enemies after attacking them is so much fun. I love how my character flies into the sky which lets me chain attacks. The gameplay loop is really solid; it feels like a huge power trip. I feel so amazing playing this.

Though, at first I thought my left mouse input was broken because I was holding down left click, but I eventually found out that I had to click and let go soon enough. I would have preferred that the tutorial text is given to me in small sections so I can process the information easier; it's a powerful tutorial design tool :) I do however like how I have a simple room to test my controls before I enter the first portal.

The final boss is a good change of pace. An extra challenge would be to play the game and never enter slow motion. Amazing game. This was a lot of fun!

ScanR by CharlieGray 2021-04-27T04:26:09Z

I like how you give the option to jump with either space or up arrow key, and that the tutorial text teaches me little things as I go instead of lots of information bombarding me all at once. Nice consideration!

The game's secondary mechanics that integrate with the main one feel fully explored and each mechanic is taught to the player in an inviting matter. I enjoyed that the checkpoints were forgiving, and that the walls remained painted even after death. Really fun game that explored all of the game's elements well, and a very decent game length. Really good game! I enjoyed this one a ton. Very unique.

Lies & Descent by LazyAlarm 2021-04-26T06:13:37Z

I absolutely love first person exploration games. This already gets a win for me. I like the atmosphere, and I enjoyed walking through the narrow tunnels. It fulfills by desire for exploration. I really like how the game teaches you the controls as you go instead of telling the player everything at once. It really lets me take information in one at a time. Awesome consideration for that.

With that said however, The climbing mechanic could have been explained a bit better. Forgive me if I was ignorant, but at first, I was only using left click, but then realised I can alternate between right click. It feels fun climbing across the walls. In the room that has the 2nd occurrence of acid, I died and was thrown back to the first acid room. I was hoping that the checkpoints could have been a little more forgiving.

I really like this. I really felt like I was delving deeper into the cave. :)

Afraid to Turn by rhoff95 2021-04-26T05:41:30Z

Really nice art style. The audio and atmosphere is really great too. I think it's cool how you turn into a stronger player by slowly turning into something you don't want to be. I like the parallax background :)

I think it's cool that the wolves shake your berries/rocks off to pick them back up again.

I had no problems seeing the wolves' eyes. Throwing the rocks is definitely the best strategy vs trying to land 2 rocks before getting bit.

Only gripes I felt was the long backtrack to the wizard. Also I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong, but I gave the wizard the berries and then the potion spawned, but I wasn't able to pick it up off the ground with my pickup button. Then the darkness consumed me, rip

Solid game :)

So Deep in Space by KeyLime 2021-04-26T04:20:36Z

Very engaging. It's an easy game to say "Just one more try" when you die. Very challenging, though I'm a bit slow to respond to the obstacles, haha. They're pretty fast. I like how there is an easy mode too.

The Golden Cavern. by Jim jagers 2021-04-25T23:39:30Z

Always fun to see what kinds of gameplay comes from clickteam games :) The game was too hard for me though, so I wasn't able to reach the end. However, I enjoy that I could get the jump upgrade, and there was a decent variety of enemies.

The controls were told to be WASD in-game, but they were actually arrow keys. Just something I noticed.

Enjoyable game overall. :)

Nostril Navigator by Xenon27 2021-04-28T04:58:06Z

Wow, nice simple game! Great flow of increasing difficulty. I got so focused that I saw the physical world moving up after I took my eyes of the screen. Haha

The Caves of Dirt by Blue05 2021-04-26T04:50:53Z

Superb game! The puzzles are designed really well, and they teach the players about the mechanics, like how one level make you learn that you teleport up one block if you place it at your feet.

Though there were some minor issues. I was stuck at the beginning because I didn't know I could only pick up dirt, but things were rolling once I figured it out. Also the audio was a bit crackly, but I'm guessing it was a game engine problem. The block pickup/place noise was a bit quiet in contrast to the rest of the sound effects.

I like this game a lot. It takes my previous knowledge from puzzles to apply to the next levels in a new way. Simply amazing, I can really appreciate this. My favorite game so far :)

Divide to go Deeper by JafCraze 2021-04-27T04:04:55Z

Nice simple game. I like how the last level gives the player the freedom to launch multiple balls. The level-building animations are nice too. Audio is nice too.

Mine The Beat by GamesBySaul 2021-04-28T05:51:59Z

I'm a massive fan of crypt of the necrodancer with 50+ hours into that game, So I think it's amazing that some inspiration was taken here! :)

I can appreciate the dwarf puns that show up between floors. The art is also very nice. I like the particle effect that appears every beat.

Exploring the caves is fun. Giving me some stardew valley vibes.

The character customization is interesting, especially for the social media potential. I can also respect the amount of time put into making this screen.

I think that my only inconvenience is the animations being too delayed between each beat. I expected more snappy instantaneous movement so that the game feels more responsive. However, The actual animations themselves for both the player and enemies feel polished, so I think it's just the timing part that needs some attention.

It may also be interesting to increase the speed of the song as you do deeper down to increase difficulty as well to make it more exciting.

All in all, a well put together game that has a decent length to it, and a nice rhythm system set up here. Great job!

Swing Shroom by Quite Good 2021-04-27T07:46:32Z

Graphics and music are amazing! The tutorial at the start gives me some Binding of Isaac vibes. The gameplay is very enjoyable to go through. The health pickups are well-placed. There is a decent variety of enemies. The level design was different enough, and was good at ramping up the challenge. Also really nice attention to detail where the day turns to night over the course of the progress in the game. There were a few times where I fell to my death thinking it was safe to land on, but I learnt eventually where to look to find the path. Great game!

Mullet Time by Lajbert 2021-04-26T01:28:16Z

I really enjoyed the Sparta kick. Amazing :) I like how the Sparta kick teaches the player how to kick with right-click. Learning by doing is really powerful.

I like how the game is relatively forgiving with the powerups and lives. It's not too unfair, but definitely challenging at the same time.

If I were to try improvements, I think that the jetpack UI could be close to the player so that I don't need to read the corners of the screen. Also, I felt inclined to kick the 2nd enemy, but it didn't feel effective enough, so I resorted to the gun.

The shotgun was fun to use. I used the recoil to dodge bullets :) The music bops. I like it :)

Sweet Dreams by LeHaine 2021-04-26T00:40:43Z

Fun and satisfying to play! Really nice artwork. The screen shake is nice, and the slingshot is fun. The animating UI at the top-right adds some extra charm.

The tutorial billboard says to press "q" to shoot the slingshot instead of "f", just a little thing I noticed :)

I found a winning strategy where I can avoid all enemies by walking past them, and going back and forth with the slingshot. But it was really fun! The slingshot is really fun to use!

The circuit by AdamsMcCall 2021-04-26T05:08:13Z

Fun game, very satisfying to test these itty bitty blocks which surmount to a block being able to pass power across it as their own little micro puzzle that contributes to a greater goal. This concept has massive potential to have so many mechanics introduced to it, and it's really fun for what content was given.

Not The Urchins! by Cammin 2021-04-27T03:33:11Z

@maple Thanks! You've gotten the largest score I've ever seen; amazing. Yeah, when designing the hitboxes, the general rule I like to follow is that pickups have bigger hitboxes, while enemies have smaller ones so that it feels more fair. also the upper 3rd of the player has no hitbox so that the player doesn't die because of contacting the legs/feet. :)

You are right about the difficulty curving off. I tried something like this because I expected that the spawn interval would go out of control after a while, so I tried out a rounded-off curve.

I was actually trying to figure out ways to make the game go faster for more experienced players during development, but I just wasn't sure how to go about it. I was thinking of using a powerup for that, but it ideally would be something that's always a risk vs reward so that all levels of experience can enjoy. The idea of being near the bottom of the screen is actually a fantastic one! I should have thought of that, haha.

The d-pad bug is also something I came across. It's a Unity bug on WebGL builds that I don't believe I have any control over, rip haha.

Thanks for playing

Not The Urchins! by Cammin 2021-04-27T17:35:20Z

@jason-wilson Actually, both of the pickups do faintly glow.

Perhaps it's too subtle, but I thought about this small detail so that players can have a clutch moment of saving themselves. It's slightly what inspired the starfish idea, as it gives a guide to navigate to the next potential glow bulb, should they completely run out of circular vision.

But yeah, I think some more options to save yourself might be an interesting idea as well, like maybe the urchins gain occasional luminescence to help avoid them and then recover.

Thanks for playing, I really appreciate it!

Deeper and Deeper by Lenny991 2021-04-26T07:14:21Z

I'm a huge sucker for these kinds of mouse maze games, and this didn't disappoint. I got through it without losing any lives, but enjoyed my time with it. I picked noob mode just in case I died and wanted to quickly pick myself back up.

Fun game, it gets me nostalgic for the mouse maze genre made in flash games.

Chimp Chef's Dastardly Onion Adventure by Cammin 2021-10-07T19:47:55Z

@adamcyounis Thanks for playing! I'm a big fan of your work. I didn't put much attention into the UI, definitely still something for me to do later. Was certainly quite a learning experience :)

Chimp Chef's Dastardly Onion Adventure by Cammin 2021-10-13T18:49:54Z

@sofimei Thanks for playing! Happy that you enjoyed it :) Yeah, the funky ideas came up when I thought of a game idea where a chef needs onions so he travels to his backyard to find them, and it would have been a simple collecting game. When I showed the idea to the Modeler for this project, he had an idea to make the characters chimpanzees and to also make the onions sentient with nests and a family. We decided to carry out the idea and we've definitely got an interesting outcome! Haha

Assessment 57 by manabreak 2025-04-10T06:06:47Z

The presentation is very nice. I appreciate the simple controls But, like rubix cube, my brain isn't built for this haha, but I think the concept is neat and also original.

Explorem Ipsum: Catacombs of Time by NotExplosive 2025-04-09T06:06:48Z

Great game! Played to the end. I had some resistance doing the puzzles initially, but once I got into it, I was going. I think the puzzle where you escort a bunch of crates was a bit tedious, but otherwise, I felt like my time was well spent.

Dino Rush by pixelstuff 2025-04-09T07:40:33Z

- Music sounds great. - I like the simple controls. - First time I saw the lava alarm, I thought it was an alert that I needed to dig down to attend to it. Then I met the lava, haha. - I didn't feel like there was much of a penalty to mash space. Though to the game's benefit, the lava regenerates the tiles so it feels like it was designed that way. - When reaching the bottom of the map, it felt quite tricky, but glad to see that it worked out. Overall a nice simple game that is quite enjoyable.

Feast Thine Eyes On Flowers by Hempuli 2025-04-10T08:07:55Z

Neat little toybox of flower growing. Happy to see a new game from the almighty creator of baba (and keke too)

Scaphander's Mine by Colisan 2025-04-09T09:03:22Z

- Neat to see it's made in Clickteam! Well done for a compo game. - Language option is neat, so is leaderboards. - This gameplay style is very unforgiving, but I enjoy that! I feel like more games ought to be more uncompromising like this. I find it funny that I just instantly die, haha. Nice game.

Depths of Field by pRoFiT 2025-04-08T04:35:02Z

Pretty hard game, but I had a neat time with it. The movement of the platforms was also fun to look at. Having a leaderboard is so cool! I haven't seen that before

Apprehension by GreenRadiation 2025-04-10T00:45:24Z

Nice game! Here were my thoughts as I was playing through it: - I appreciate the tutorial when you need it, like when in front of a key. - I'm curious how you got webgl on the ludum dare page to work properly for a unity game; Mine couldn't so I had to depend on itch, which worked. - I like the scares. - The camera idea is neat. I like that it's introduced in the 2nd level. - I was doing left/right wall-strats to get around the maze, but still had a bit of a time trying to get around. I'd retrace the same paths and get stuck at times. - I seem to die to easily due to low reaction time so because of that, I chose to always hold the camera out and stop using the lamp. - There seems to be moments where I die very easily. I snap the camera, but I still die. So I instead try to turn around after taking a photo, but still die. I reached level 3~4 and got lost in the depths, but I had a nice time. I like the scares, they were fun!

A Soggy Situation by SvenErik 2025-04-09T09:13:33Z

I really had to pull out my expert mario party skills there, but enjoyed seeing it work out! Gave my right arm a workout, haha.

If I had to give it criticism, it's that it contains some trial-and-error where you're trying to figure out what to do before failing and trying again; I won by first failing and then preparing my mouse at the correct position to maximize my chances of winning. Maybe a 3-2-1 countdown might be good? But overall, it's an experience that will stay with me :)

Depths of Hell by GabrielGameDev 2025-04-10T08:17:31Z

Gooood Game. Platformer controls felt good. I like how different hazards were introduced as the game progressed. The voice acting is nice

Vs. the Deep by Life_Lich 2025-04-10T05:05:54Z

- I think that the "play" card area could be moved so I don't have to drag my hand so far. - Kind of gave me an earthbound vibe, with the background, music, and layout of the enemies. I like the music. - I might be bad at card games because the enemies felt pretty tanky, and built up to 6 at the same time and defeat me because I couldn't keep them under control. - I reached depth 4 before dying. - I liked the art of the enemies, they were charming. Good game!

WanderWood by AdamCYounis 2025-04-09T08:28:53Z

Had a small struggle with the mechanics initially, but once I figured it out, I realized how well thought out the design is. - I like that you drag orbs around to discover locations that enable an orb to work. - Having a visual indication of where the orbs are between depths with the flies is a great touch, in additoin to seeing the depth ahead. - I got 2 apples.

I may have softlocked myself when using the green orb to try getting the purple/white orb, where I can't return back to the previous depth properly. But from my time with it, the game is really good. I think it does a good job at encouraging the player to experiment and see what works and what doesn't.

Super Pyonpon by Saturnyoshi 2025-04-09T20:58:02Z

To be honest, I don't know how a game like this can be made in such a short period of time. There's so many aspects of polish and technology in addition to the number of mechanics that get added in with the level design's progression. I'm simply blown away. I'd would be curious into some insights because I would love to reach that level of productivity :)

Perfect jam game. Nothing else has topped this for me. Team Bugulon brings the quality pretty much every time.

Deep Space Delivery Office by JHax 2025-04-09T07:17:28Z

I really appreciate the tutorial. But I don't know if I'm much of a "micro" player so it was a bit tricky for me, haha. My game froze, I think it was after buying something. Music and graphics is nice :)

Antz vs Plantz by Blue Pin Studio 2025-04-10T07:17:29Z

Wow, this game has a lot of personality! The upgrades felt quite nice, with the carrots feeling the most powerful. I died to a giant ant opening a large funnel for all the other enemies to fly though. Probably should have dipped more into the gold generation haha. Very good game, I was fully invested, and I like the cartoony feeling of the two tree characters too, it kind of reminded me of playing an old kids edutainment game in a certain way. Love it

Face Your Fears by CodeRaurus 2025-04-09T08:52:42Z

- I like the depth layer mechanic, the transition is nice. - Having a sprint key doesn't feel necessary because there is no penalty to sprinting. - I like the music change when you grab the toy. I read through the comments to understand I can place my buckets. - Game has some enjoyable polish in a decent number of places. Overall nice!

@engoneer Aww, that's so nice to hear, that's deeply appreciated :) I definitely agree with your criticism; I think the part that needed improvement was the game design and the core loop the most. I'm glad you like the chase when you run out of flashlight, I think it's a great experience too :)

@oxnh Thanks for playing, yeah I agree that the main gameplay loop could have had something changed like an alternative to the spacebar QTE. @trevor-lentz Thanks for the huge compliments! I definitely think that the core gameplay loop has some feelings of repetition and could be improved on be be more dynamic and interesting. I enjoy you think it feels like the xbox 360 days, haha.

@fancyreckless Thanks! Yeah my whole team are professionals at their craft so its helped a lot in that regard. I agree the core gameplay loop is repetitive and could have been more dynamic; will consider that for future projects :)

@jacky-san Thanks very much for playing!

@palvel Thanks for playing! Yeah, the camera could have been zoomed out a bit further. that, or have more options to look ahead.

@morepixels True, I think the camera could have been zoomed out a bit further or have more options to look ahead with the mouse or movement direction, etc. Another option might have been for the ghosts to react with some sort of idle animation before attacking so their position is more explicitly shown to the player beforehand. @coderaurus @r8teful Thanks for playing! I definitely agree with your criticism; I think the part that needed more work was the game design and the core loop so that it can be more dynamic and interesting, will take the advice into the future :)

@perrin Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed the visuals

@blackcat508 Thanks! Yeah, we were exploring some ideas, but decided on just mashing. I'm thinking that a different approach instead of a QTE would enable to explore some more unique ideas with the combat loop, but we settled on a mash QTE for the scope of this jam.

@yanato Thanks for playing! Yeah it's indeed kind of spooky, especially when running out of battery :)

For a one-person effort, this is very, very impressive! - Title screen is polished. Not sure if this was prepped before the jam, but I think its fine in order to put the time into the game mechanics :) - The volume slider sounds like it uses the log10()*20 thing, I like. - Music is peaceful and relaxing. - Intro slideshow is a nice way to show the story. - I love me a mining incremental game, nice. - As a small ux idea, I think the upgrade/repair menus could show up by simply standing nearby instead of interacting. This was also an issue for me because I find myself pressing escape to try closing the menu but it un-fullscreens me in WebGL. - I enjoy that the player collects a variety of resources, it lets me choose what I want to go for each time I enter the water. - Tiny bug where the mining audio plays on loop while in the sub if you are holding the mouse button while entering the sub. - The blue (LVL) text in the upgrade menu doesn't contrast the best with the background and makes it hard to read.

Overall, Very nice game! I reached the surface. One of my favorites so far.

After reviewing a bunch of other games, I came back to this one just because I like it. That's a very powerful aspect to have. Might be my favorite personal game of this jam that I was able to find.

Helldriver 2 by oxnh 2025-04-10T05:38:26Z

The art is amazing! I appreciate the simple controls. The parallax is great and really helps add to the feeling of motion and pushes it into a greater feeling of something. The gameplay is engaging and feels right. The execution on the idea works. I couldn't win, but enjoyed my time. Great one.

DUCKDEPF by Jona Scheidig 2025-04-10T07:38:12Z

This game reminded me how much I like birds. I enjoyed flying down. - The animation when hovering is expressive. - The music changing pitch when dying is the kind of polish I wish more games had. - I found it funny that the bird is perpetually sad-looking on his face. - The music is very fitting to a game like this where you are dodging all sorts of wild stuff. - I like that I can speed up and slow down. - I did not engage with the dodging much at all, but it was a fun little thing to play around with. Great one!

Gold Digger by Kekyr 2025-04-10T05:09:48Z

Nice little arcade style game. I like me a digging game!

Helmet Man by Sevadusk 2025-04-10T06:55:47Z

Art style is nice. A unique intro before getting into the real gameplay is neat too. Neat little falling experience.

Wishing Evil by andruid 2025-04-10T05:47:16Z

Neat simple experience. Since it's a mouse precision game, having a build that can have a high framerate would be extra helpful here; I think the game only ran at 30 fps. After I took a bunch of damage during the high between 50~150 points, I only had to balance about 4 enemies at a time. After I got my score to 420, then I let them get me. But once an enemy escapes, it never approaches again, so I got softlocked. But at least it ends at a nice number, haha.

Endless Depth by Dywanix 2025-04-10T08:23:40Z

I like that despite dying so easily, it jumps you right back in. Gives me a certain arcade-y vibe for trying to go far in progression.

Super BAD Boy! by basic_eagles 2025-04-10T05:28:46Z

Art is nice, but the movement is kind of slow, and the hurt detection is kind of unforgiving. But, I do think the presentation is very good. I suspect that the loading screen was artificially added to pad out time, which I felt detracted from the experience. I feel like the attention was put on the presentation of the game's flow and structure instead focusing on the gameplay which will be the most important part. But I liked what I saw, and I wish the best for future projects :)

Dredge by Snore 2025-04-10T05:21:10Z

This game looks great! and I think the concept is quite original in how score is accumulated and how throwing objects at enemies works out. But while playing, I had a fatal flaw that made the gameplay experience really difficult: The input detection. It seems like the input only works sometimes when I try to jump or grab/throw. From a technical perspective, I would guess the problem is that the input is being checked in a physics loop instead of an update loop, but just my guess. I think the game is quite good, but is harmed by the input detection problem.

Crates of Hell by dmaerzendorfer 2025-04-09T05:36:35Z

Neat little game. - Appreciate the small file size, for what a unity game can. - I like the rhythmic feeling. I am curious how you did it without the audio potentially desyncing. - The juice is very good and helped push myself through the gameplay loop to finish to the end of the game, which I think is the looping of the messages. - It feels quite repetitive. The hammer is really good to use once it's use is fully understood, and saved me lots of time.

Fred's Fishing Frenzy by Phasmantic 2025-04-09T05:08:00Z

Great game! I love me an incremental game. I thought the stock market was great too lol. Unfortunately my game seems to have froze when a fish escaped, but I had a great time with what I had. I personally found the line length was the best way to grow money quickly, assuming the skill is there to back it up.

Ad Light by jtap 2025-04-10T07:29:23Z

Nice happy character. The art is really well done. I liked the simple idea of the game, but if I were to recommend improvements, it would be: - The game's framerate could be higher than 30fps - The hitbox of the enemies could be slightly smaller in the player's favor - The player's movement direction could be a direct mouse movement instead of diagonal movement only. Overall, I like! Cute main character

To The Core by izzqz 2025-04-10T00:52:31Z

I could only get down like 3 layers, but I really like the sussy guy in this game, very good. If I could offer some feedback, it's that I'd like some more immediate feedback when I click to switch direction. But quite enjoyable.
