This is really well made and confusing too, but in a good way!

Great idea and music! Controls and camera were a little tricky for me but still a lot of fun :race_car:
Everything about this is great: the art, music and the use of the theme! My only slight problem would be the controls but you get used to them. Nice work
Really good looking game and interesting concept! I wish I could pick up elves along the way to replace the ones I had lost.
Humour is off the charts! The voice acting too! You could actually have all the dialogue during the gameplay as the driving itself felt a bit quiet and didn't require much attention.
Great game; the music and visuals go very well together!
Aiming took a while to get used to. I think levels could be longer if you spaced out the pickups a bit. Also, the loops aren't noticeable unless you miss a pickup.
But the gameplay was fun and satisfying!
Hypnotic and awesome! You could add a combo to the game: the more diamonds you collect without entering a safe (green) loop, the higher the combo.
This is a great game with wonderful art!
There are a few bugs here and there but my main issue was the difficulty/progression. It may be a good idea to start with one person at a time, have them walk up to the belt then say what they want.
It would also be cool if the bag colour/type hinted at what was inside: - a laptop bag would contain a laptop, pens etc - a large suitcase contains mainly clothes - a rucksack contains camping equipment
This has tons of potential and I really do hope you continue to update it!
Great atmosphere and has potential for as a full story game! My only suggestion would be to put the text at the bottom, underneath the level; so it's easier to read the text and watch the player.
Liked the model of the trains and passengers and the scene transitions were great! It was a little weird that, on the crossings level, the train would stop for the cars
I like the mechanic of upgrading and degrading your abilities for progress! Also, I'm glad the game doesn't end when you run out of Gooblets
Great concept and good use of the theme! Had a few issues (with the Windows version): 1. Press Esc in any level shows me the Congratulations page 2. Level 6 - doing this (Up, Left, Up, Left, Down, Up, Right) makes the level unsolvable, which leads me to issue 3 3. Wish there was a way to completely reset the level and try again
But yeah, nice work
Had a lot of fun playing this! Would have loved to be able to go back to earlier levels or a level select page
Really impressed with this game! Loved that the player essentially builds up the puzzles.
Great game! Although there isn't much "looping", I did get stuck on the diamond spike levels. Good fun though and this could easily be expanded to have many more levels
Really like the multiple loops which led to interesting gameplay and level design! (A little nitpicky, but it would have been nice if you could also jump with W)
Spooky game which sets the atmosphere up perfectly! After a while, it got annoying climbing the ramp. Maybe if there was a little more variation with the questions and how they are answered within the room.
@irwatts Thanks for playing! The player does slow down a little bit when there's more text but I can see why it would still be hard to read.
@Anonymous I appreciate your honest feedback. I was aiming for Innovation and Theme more than anything else. Sorry about the swapping mechanic; it started off differently and ended up that way due to time constraints. Music and art aren't great, I'll give you that
@judgezedd I like your counter idea; allows for replayability and high scores
@blobo Thanks! I did intend to allow speed control but it messed up some of the colliders I had so I had to leave it.
@melektaus Cheers! Just making sure everyone knows who made it
@jelle-vermandere Thanks for the feedback. I enjoyed making the riddles so thanks again
@rupert-cole Thanks so much :smile:
@kultisti Glad to hear it
@saurterrs @vphyre @arad-hamidsamiee @alpharock6 @gwinnell @mykola @maychant @theinkskeleton @foolmoron
Thank you all for playing!
The plan was for a player to loop a few times to understand what the full text was but I understand if it went a little fast.
The audio builds up with every puzzle (a new instrument is added). Unfortunately, music isn't my forte so it didn't sound as good as I'd hoped.
Camera was tricky as I didn't want it to give the game away. Switching cameras was to make sure the "surprise" wasn't spoiled for the player.

Thank you everyone for playing/rating/commenting!
The art and music were very good! Really sets the atmosphere. I agree that there should be fewer lanes and that they should be more clearly defined. Also, some stars were not possible to collect e.g. a star on a black bag. Oh, and thanks for adding volume levels (definitely appreciated)
I thought the control scheme was a little weird at first until I started fumbling with the bullets. The last level was nerve-racking but, in the end, I single-handedly escaped the lab :hand_splayed:
Is it possible to make a hilarious game in 4 hours? Oh yeah!
Looks really good but it gets tough quick when the rocks start clumping together. I think you could add an option to reverse the boost/slow down controls. When I pressed "S", I kept expecting it to go down faster. Besides that, it was very fun to play
Kept playing until my browser crashed  It would be nice to see how many of each upgrades we've bought e.g. 123 Fuel Tanks. The upgrades which consumed gold didn't change so it started to get a little easy
Great game! The art is simple but awesome. I also think a faster rate of fire (with reloading to slow down the player a bit) would make it even more fun.
At first, I tried climbing the mountain on the right  The Snatchers were scary but I couldn't see them very well so I jumped over wherever I previously died. Also the Death Zones were unclear as sometimes you do need to fall down steep holes. (I fell down every hole in case I missed something) I was intrigued how you made the pixels so I had a look at the source code and it was pretty interesting to colour sprites across the map. Overall, I really enjoyed playing your game!
It was quite tough controlling both of them  Maybe you could have a compass to help direct the players. Really like the torch idea though
Could do with some indication on how far you are from the wizard. Also, I wasn't sure what the green/orange/red arrow was. Anyway, it was pretty tense and the art was great!
Very interesting concept! I like how you can see the smaller circuits moving within the purple blocks. (I also have a similar zooming effect in my Godot game too so I was curious how you did it.) The deepest circuit kinda doesn't make sense but it works  Overall, a good game with potential
@adamsmccall Makes sense. That tutorial will be very helpful, thanks! I didn't dare touch Viewports because I knew it would take me longer than a weekend to learn them.
Cute art, funny story and generally fun to play!
I didn't think floating rocks could be so mesmerising! Some ambient sound or atmospheric music would be nice but I think the silence helped to reinforce the vastness and loneliness of space. The text at the bottom could be a little bigger or brighter. Also, you could have a label like "Distance to next planet: 1.2 au" so players would know how far they were from their next target.
Puns, puns everywhere! Congrats on submitting a game after restarting. I had to restart too and thought I'd be in ***deep trouble***
Looks trippy and it gets real fast real quick
The dragging movement in the water felt good and the music in the background really added to this game. Well done!
