Great ring-loop game!

Pretty fun, the sounds are great, though it is a bit disorientating

Cool Idea and great execution - I loved the sounds, the graphics, the shots and the hitting feedback! Great job!

Nice take on the theme. The graphics were cute and shooting felt nice. You should definetly improve on your controls though. This is a really good tutorial on how to improve it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KiK0Aqtmzc. I would have liked the ability to hold down the LMB to shoot. And you should have added a cooldown to the shoot. Otherwise good entry :v:

Thank you all for your feedback

@tyrael I know that video but the "jumping" was a little bit hacky in this case because the gravity performs from the center of the stage and I have a litte bit time pressure to get it feel right. But yay^^ next time I know it better, thx for the hint. And the "Hold down LBM"-thingy: I'm 100% with you

Awesome game!

tricky-fat-cat 2020-10-06 18:20

A pretty interesting isdea of the game with peculiar level design. Nice work.

gamepopper 2020-10-06 18:45

Pretty good, quite fun twin-stick shooter and good progression as you get further down, although the music was a bit repetitive. Also didn't realise you had to hold jump to jump to higher platforms.

melektaus 2020-10-06 18:53

@gamepopper I forgot about it myself (hold to jump higher). The music (and sfx in general) were made 1h before the deadline.. unfortunately .. that was a big mistake. Thanks for your feedback :)

jafcraze 2020-10-07 16:47

Really like the multiple loops which led to interesting gameplay and level design! (A little nitpicky, but it would have been nice if you could also jump with W)

bot12313 2020-10-07 22:54

Amazing. Wasn't you thinking about endless mode? I'd definitely played it!

jordan-kelly 2020-10-08 16:53

I love how accessible and satisfying this was to play. The nested loops were immediately cool and got me thinking about a massive Metroidvania in this style. Good job.

conneli 2020-10-08 17:34

Great fun!! I actually got stuck at one point and had to restart, but I enjoyed it enough to play it all the way again to the end. Smooth responsive controls and enemies that don't mess around. This was a blast. stuck in place.png

Really fun game, I think perhaps a shoot cooldown is needed so you can hold it down rather than click for each shot, as you can click super fast and the enemies don't stand a chance. My only real criticism here is that the music begun to get a bit repetitive but it still fit the mood so nothing too bad. Overall though really good job, I would love to see this be worked on further with more enemies, levels and obstacles!
