Big fan of the visuals, and I haven't seen any other games with this interpretation of loop.

Big fan of the visuals, and I haven't seen any other games with this interpretation of loop.
Cool concept. I was able to drag outside of the borders on PC but that was actually still kind of fun because I was safe but it was hard to draw a circle large like that. Nice visuals!
Really cool game, I don't do tutorials because I'm manly and they're for dweebs, so I assumed the game was just time survival for an embarrassingly long time as I found out you can just hang in the middle to face no obstacles and thought "that can't be right", then I found out about the rest of the mechanics.
I feel stupid.
Really excellent concept and was excuted well in most regards, idk if its procedural or random or but the "level" was not that fun actual game itself could have been really great but it was just a near miss for me. Keep up the good work this is an excellent solo project
I typically don't read the instructions for games and just jump in so I have to say from that perspective the game wasn't very intuitive to play, but once I did realize I couldn't figure it out on my own and read the instructions it was a pretty fun game. And cool graphics!
Could definitely see that as an mobile game, it has that easy to understand, hard to master feel that could get ppl hooked. My only problem is that the difficulty peaks very quickly and prevents the player from doing satisfying huge loops, which should be their main focus! And kudos to you for doing some procedural geometry during a jam!
Piggybacking on what @nobleboy said, you might not want to show a timer at all, so that the player doesn't get distracted by a metric that they're not supposed to try to optimize. I also had a moment where I was unsure if I was getting points for my survival time, or just for the stars that I was collecting.
That's totally just a nitpick though - The game is a lot of fun, and looks really nice! :)
Nice! Simple and fun, an interesting combination of different mechanics. Applies to the theme super well too!
The game is good, I played a lot of time btw and had some fun, it's not my kind of game but it looks really cool :D
Awesome game - really polished to a high standard. Easy to learn but hard to master! It made for a really engaging experience - well done!
I really liked the art and the sound effect when I circled a star. I originally tried to play the game in fullscreen and it didn't work, I couldn't leave the start area without dying. I found the game over screen kind of hard to read because of the red background. I really like how you applied the theme.
Nice game mechanic but definitely taxing on my fingers because I was using a trackpad lol.
A cool unity game that works perfectly on Mobile (better than on desktop actually) and has a cool looping mechanic to make points I got 101.59s and 9842 score with 900 top star. Next time i got 15467 in 25.6s with 1150 top star!
@nobleboy I was staying in the middle and thought that too! It took me about 90s not getting any score to figure it out lol
Hard to play with mouse, but had fun anyway! There's something nice about making the loops.
very fun game. I think the aesthetics and lighting is cool as heck! the mechanics are like nothing ive ever seen. great job!
A very pleasing neon style! Obstacle position felt a bit random and the end screen was a bit bright. Other than that, it was great!
Loving the polish and style of this game. I especially love the dissonant sounds you get when making a 2-3x combo. Using a mouse, I got 19367 on my first try! The secret is to circle things quickly and nab combos, and also to read the instructions, which many commenters here seem to not do. Looking forward to playing again.
Hey, Foolmoron. Nice to see you in Ludum Dare again!
As mentioned on the stream, I like the concept of the game a lot. Reminds me a lot of *Kirby: Canvas Curse* and Art Attack from *Paper Mario: Thousand-Year Door*. It's easy to learn and understand, and has a satisfying gameplay loop that encourages improving your last score.
I did think the game in this iteration was a bit *too* simple. While this game is fun in short bursts, it's also something I got quickly bored with. Still, I see there's a lot of potential behind the concept: I can see a lot of cool new elements you could add to further expand the game.
