Wow this is a blast!

Wow this is a blast!
Nice concept! It's a neat idea but the game lacks feedback and ingame helpers to feel really fun. When starting a normal game, I felt overwhelmed by the number of asteroids in the very first seconds and many crashed on Earth without me able to do anything. Since we're dealing with orbitation physics that are not that intuitive, it'd help a lot to have a visualisation of the objects' orbits so we can see them change in real time while we interact with them! Nice job still!
Cute, simple and fun! However, it does feel kinda slow, particularly when you have the solution figured and just need to execute it, it'd be perfect to just be able to skip the movement animation when doing another move!
Could definitely see that as an mobile game, it has that easy to understand, hard to master feel that could get ppl hooked. My only problem is that the difficulty peaks very quickly and prevents the player from doing satisfying huge loops, which should be their main focus! And kudos to you for doing some procedural geometry during a jam!
leaving a comment just to receive notifications when it's up, it looks too cute!
Nice puzzles! It felt a bit random because I didn't quite understand the logic behind the snake's movements but it was still fun :)
Love the concept! It's cute and easy to figure out. I had some minor bugs (visual glitches and parts of the level where I got stuck in the scenery) but it was still a nice experience. The game would have benefited from giving the player some feedback when the bug is about to move to its next stage, particularly when reverting from a moth to a larvae mid-flight :p Nice job!
A simple well executed mechanic, I love the extra care put into the feedback the game constantly gives to the player. Also that robot disassembly animation is so juicy!
Good job, it's short, easy to understand and fun! It feels so polished for it be out of a gamejam!
Very simple but done well! Could have used some sound and increasing difficulty! :)
The mood was neat, both musically and visually, you can feel the lil dread and loneliness from being out there on mars However, I got really frustrated by the loop mechanic that doesn't really contribute to the game's design and only makes simple puzzles feel tedious
Very nice concept! It feels a bit weird and the game could definitely give more feedback here and there (I realized only after 2 loops that I had to fire the guns and then that they had different ranges), but there's definitely some nice things to be done! Great job!
I see we aren't the only ones who made poop rhyme with loop hehe
This was so good, everything was on point. The cute cutscenes and the main mechanic are amazing. Great work!
Pretty solid! The gameplay works well and you're quickly hooked into playing more and more waves. Sadly the enemies generation gets a little obvious and you can easily tell what the n+1 wave will look and feel like ahead of time. Additional spawning patterns and late game enemies would have spiced things up a lil! Had fun!
fun and smooth!
awww lily is too cute, love the effort put into the cutscenes, the mic saturated a little tho :c I was disappointed by the game being "simply" Space Invaders but the cutscenes and aesthetics were a nice touch!
it's neat, i got 13850 :3 it was difficult to tell projectiles and collectibles apart tho :c
This was very cute and fun, i dig the art style! Having different moving traders is a neat idea from which I could see some fun min-maxing arise. I was a little disappointed the goal is mostly a grind objective but I had fun just exploring around :)
Damn, that's a nice surprise I got when the camera zoomed out when I left Earth's orbit! it definitely has a nice atsmosphere to it! I feel the game could have been a bit friendlier by refueling whenever you enter Earth's orbit for delivery tho :p Well done!
Dark! The swings really feel good once you get the hang (:smirk:) of it!
very cute but too unforgiving :p
dunno about the loop but it sure broke my brain, it's neat!
a cute and silly experiment :)
Short, to the point, with a fun mechanic! Well done!
The controls are bit clunky and the quick camera movements when turning gave me a little motion sickness but i dig the mechanics, throwing your spawn point around can make for some interesting situations and levels!
I liked the premise of the game, but I got badly stuck at the 2 first diagonal platforms, it is indeed an impossible task and I'll never know if this was by design :p
Fun time! That astronaut definitely drinks too much water for their own good tho :p 15 loops feels a little too long but the wide range of hazards is a nice touch! Good job!
Nice and cozy! Both gameplay and art feel funny and help brighten up! However the first level was way too difficult compared to the rest of the game, which almost made me drop the game at first :p
12387 :D That was fun ! I love the background art (even tho I initially confused the purple rocks as obstacles), its colors work amazingly well. I didn't quite understand the powerup system as it sometimes felt like I was replacing a powerup with another rather than stacking them, as hinted by the top left UI elements. Some attacks (particularly from the red ships) feel a bit cheap with projectiles way too fast without a proper way to tell their timing. Auto-firing would have been welcome too :p Good job!
I like the aesthetic but the sound the player makes when moving was very annoying to me and I got stuck at the first level, not knowing how to get a second glowy orb :c
hehe a nice take on VVVVVV-like gameplay. it's a small self-contained experience and discovering the turning mechanic feels good! It gets a lil tedious when only one collectible is left without any good info on where it is and where is the turning platform you need to access it. A minimap or UI info would have been perfect! Nice job still!
So good and polished! It did feel difficult at times but the experience remained fun regardless 🐵
Love the art style! Procgen for a jam is always a nice challenge!
This compo is stellar. The mechanic is cool, the art style is amazing, even the lil buildup with Central is worthwile, incredibly good!
What a scary piece! It's rare to see a jam game being this creepy without relying on cheap jumscares or similar, congrats on putting this disturbing experience together!
Didn't think i'd get size-shamed by a dragon in this jam, I love it! (but I hate it! <3)
Nice work! Crabs truly are the next evolution in gaming 🦀🦀🦀
I really didn't expect to enjoy a massage game this much?? Really fun concept, really gives you the kind of frenzy experience you'd get from games like Cook Serve Delicious. There is definitely somewhere to go with this past the jam! :)
A cozy lil adventure!
I have only one question: how did you make a Noita-esque physics engine so quickly?? This is technically outstanding
@natethegreat well that was definitely a smart move!
Nice job! Simple and to the point!
what amazing work for a compo!
Such a nice mood! Love everything that's going both visuals and audio-wise. I love Wario Ware-like games so this really hit the spot! My only complaint would be that I had trouble understanding some of the minigames (like the temperature set thingy) but I'd say that's part of the charm of this kind of experience! Good job!
Very nice game I'm very bad at! Or as we say now, i goofed a lot! Amazed at the level of visual polish this managed to cram in a jam!
i will never insert swabs into my ear canals anymore, thanks for this *highlighting* experience
What a neat concept! It feels very nice to play and has a lot of content/upgrades! Would have loved to get a net size upgrade, it's too fun flinging that thing around! :fish:
Nice job! The amount of writing that went into this for a jam project is neat! And that was one french accent if I ever heard one hehe! 🇫🇷
Nice concept! The realization I was orbiting when I unzoomed felt nice, the bad endings are a good touch as well
Neat! If you don't get first place for innovation, I don't know who will, just the concept got a laugh out of me! Good work! Untitled 1.png
perfect piece tbh! it's fun, the atmosphere is breathtaking, the art is good. The game really manages to make you feel helpless! Congrats!
Brilliant! Reminds a lot of Letters and Scribblenauts for their word-foolery even if they have completely different gameplay!
The drawing mechanic feels so good, love the lil blood polish! Would love to see another mechanic on the left of the elevator to make demons on that side an actual issue! :D
@baconn00 ooooh neat, i have to retry now!
A soothing very personal work! The art was nice, good job!
Amazing entry! Upward momentum is def the true meta :exclamation:
@karbirus @isabelle-szeto Thank you!!! @himeija really put all her love in those pixels <3
**Thanks everyone for your feedback**, we're overwhelmed by such positive feedback, we're so glad you enjoyed our silly puzzle game! 💗
@jordan-ottesen *"I’d honesty call attention to that in your description so players make the connection!"* nice catch! I improved the bio in that regard! thank you!
@koolruz thanks! yup I initially let the player move around freely while the bunnies flee, it indeed felt better but in the case where Paquerette surprised a bunny around a corner (1 tile away), it'd force the bunny to do some teleporting away in order to catch up with her next moves. I might revisit/fix this if we end up coming back to this silly game someday! 🐇
@loig yeah there are indeed some corner cases specific for traps (for example, if a trap is around a corner, the bunny won't be able to see it and treat the corner as a regular one!). We should def add some more intermediate levels if/when we come back to this game! 🐇
@cary-stanley thanks! Yeah WebGL and FMOD is a weird mix, so the game either freezes if loses focus (even on the same page/when scrolling) or run in the background and glitches out when switching tabs :c I think I'll add a desktop build since I noticed some other people had other audio issues as well!
@natethegreat glad you liked it! There are AFAIK 3 babies available but the last one requires a lil exploit based on an oversight in the bunny AI. If you wanna try to pull it off, it's on the level with two traps! Dunno if it's possible to get it "legitimately", I haven't managed it but who knows??? 😄😄😄
@euler-moises hoy thank you! I'd have to double-check with @herbie-puppy but I believe we *only* use FMOD to have neat out-of-the-box transitions between musics and stackable non-interruptible one-shot sounds! (which would require additional setup with vanilla unity audio system). Oh also the sound effects are always in rhythm/sync(?) with the background score (something along these lines i think~)!
@paulloz oh yes ty so much! I was so sad I missed it!
@goggleskitty Haha good job! To be fair the third baby is AFAIK only obtainable by exploiting a bug in the bun AI so don't beat yourself up over it haha!
**Thanks everyone again for playing and loving our silly game <3** Accidental skipping of levels is definitely one of the hottest issues of this entry, def will fix that~~
@baconn00 here's a hint: you obviously need two bunnies in a level to make a baby one, so try to think about how you could get more bunnies in subsequent levels :3 (you can get 3 babies total but third one is a lil exploit)
@coleslaughter thank you so much for sharing the clip! (and for the love! <3)
Nice game! The atmosphere is on point! The swinging is fun but climbing back can turn out to be a bit tedious at times! Still very enjoyable with a neat chill vibe 🍄
That was quite the mood. It really is a feat to manage to tackle this topic with accuracy without overly relying on text. The writing even used humor in a way that reinforced compassion for Matt. Good job!
well that was... something xD
Very nice aesthetics and music! Well done!
