dead link :c
Looks like the link is to some edit view and not the public itch.io page.
Thanks! I've sorted that out.
Sorry about that :D
Really great attempt for a first game jam. Well done! :)
I dont know why, but the link gives 404 error.
My mother said that the game is very bloody ) So it's definitely a good game ) I liked it
Liked the art style and overall desing, music is also good. Player moves quite slowly, this makes it difficult to maneuver between crowds of undead. Otherwise, great job!
Took me a bit to find the serum in the beginning, but after 3 plays through the game I managed to find enough :)
Hard to find the first serum, took me a while to get the idea. Actually I think it would be better if there were much time and much serum to find, but it's okay. The whole idea is interesting)
Thanks for the feedback and for trying out the game! :D
Graphics looks great and the animation on the characters is nice. The controls integrated into the environment is cool too.
I like the character's monologue to themself.
Also the computer report is well done too.
Would be good if the person typed faster lol. Also maybe it should be easier to find samples.
Good entry.
To use arrow, need to switch to full screen. Tips for next time please also support zqsd (like wasd) to be compatible azerty keyboard. Is there a way to skip the report, after few run, just want to retry quicker? Nice work
Thanks for the comments. I've added a skip option and also speeded up the text bit. It was a bit of a slog to wait for all that. :D Thanks again.
I liked the look of the game and the music choice.
The player was a bit too slow for my taste and having everyone charge the player at 1 alive kinda bugged me.
Perhaps it was bad luck but i had a game where the samples stopped spawning until i refreshed the page.
Hi thanks for the comments. I've increased his speed a bit. Much appreciated!!!
Really nice to see the NPCs attacking each other end becoming zombies ^^, great job!
**Good game! Very challenging!**
Here is my feedback:
**What do I like?** - I liked the title screen. - I liked the tutorial of the game. - Nice SFX, and music. - I really liked the computer end. (Unexpected!)
---
**What don't I like?** - The music is too high.
---
**Suggestions:** - Maybe have a required number of collecting the Samples. - Maybe add a timer. If the player doesn't meet the required number of the collected samples (Suggestion 1), and the timer ends, the level restarts.
Really great work for a first game jam. I run the game jams for our dev group and I bet you've got some good stories to tell.
Excellent work on having tutorial information at the beginning of the game. Great art and sound and played smoothly.
How does the sample drop rate work? Is that random or are specific test subjects carrying them?
The idea is very good, the zombies increase speed very fast, it is good to see someone also developing a great idea in the construct, congratulations, a big hug!
Wow nice entry for a first game jam. Really solid game design and overall execution.
I liked playing the game. Only the find the exit was very unspectacular because I did not encounter enemies?
Awesome little game, really liked the art style and the background music fits really well with the game. I also like that dying is not the end. For the rest the gameplay itself is quite simple but enjoyable.
I really liked the graphics! They were really unique. I also thought the dialogue was really funny and well devloped. I love this!
Cool little project. The art style was fitting and the music catching. And it was quite funny.
That was such neat idea! Great execution with an awesome soundtrack.
I like you game , the idea is good, I finish all levels and found the Exit door of lab 47 (nice touch)..
good job you do have the core gameplay with is very well polished, but it could really need a couple simple things could to make it more engaging. when that have been said this is still good. when the link works :P it is fine it happens. PS if you use @ and the name , the person will know you have comment
@life-Lich thanks for checking out the game. Much appreciated!
I really like the concept of the game, having robots repeating your actions is very cool. I also liked the art, especially the logo.
One thing that I personally found a bit distracting was how loud the sound effects were compared to the background music.
Nice game, moreover I'm a fan of zombie theme! :)
Here are my feedback:
_Positive points - Good art style - Nice usage of the theme - The lab room is well crafted - Cool little story about collecting sample
_Negative points - Weird animation when we go forward/downward - Missing indication of where the zombie wave is, so it can be frustating to die by surprise
Overall: Good work!
Pretty fun, almost addictive. I was really determined to get more samples lol. For me after I had quite a few samples, I needed like 2 more, they seemed to stop dropping any. I played again around 5 or 6 times running around the room when almost everyone was killed and I couldn't find a single one, dunno if that's a glitch maybe. Otherwise it was really cool, great use of the theme! I wish I could have seen what happened further!
This is a fun unique take on the theme, and I really dig the core concept as a small replayable game. The aesthetics are very nice (the artwork of the characters reminds me somewhat of Don't Starve for some reason) and the gameplay loop is very replayable. I would say you might need to add some logic to ensure a minimum amount of 'samples' are dropped per 'test', as for about 2-3 runs in a row I didn't see a single one even when all the peeps had been killed / turned. Also think a bit more of a zoomed out view may have worked? But thats personal preference. Otherwise cool :)
