I've Been Busy Being Dead by instrex 2020-10-09T18:41:27Z ♥ 2

The art and animations were fantastic, and the sound effects and background music added a lot to the overall atmosphere of the game. Great work!

I really like the concept of the game, having robots repeating your actions is very cool. I also liked the art, especially the logo.

One thing that I personally found a bit distracting was how loud the sound effects were compared to the background music.

Good work making the game non-Euclidean! Adds a lot to the atmosphere and surrealism of the experience.

Just wanted to say how cool the concept is! The art style was also done very well, and I like the color choices.

I'm not very good at the puzzles, so I only got to the third room, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Great work!

I'm a sucker for adventure games, great submission! Lack of direction wasn't as much of a problem for me (pick up anything that is not nailed down), but gathering everything in 2 minutes, even when I knew where they were, was a little stressful. Certain things also seemed like they should have crossed over from earlier plays, like asking the pumpkin grower for a pumpkin (which I think you have to talk to the baker and the carver girl for). Other than that, the art was very cute, and I enjoyed it a lot!

Am I a bad person for being disappointed there is no achievement for murdering all the civilians?

Loop Snatch! by cake 2020-10-07T21:19:14Z ♥ 1

Neat concept, though I think the first level is a little off-base. The second and third level are more puzzle-y, but the first is mostly just running towards the bottle, grabbing it, and slamming the mouse wheel fast enough to survive. It would be nice if you could rewind time from the game over screen. Other than that, it's a neat concept (having to plan things in a sort of reverse order, so you can move back to a better position), and could make a neat game if expanded.

Also nice jojoke

Simple, but quite fun. I could see this as a mobile game, controlling the speed by sliding your finger up or down.

My biggest complaint is that the bloom effect made me think my monitor was dirty, haha

The art is well done, the platforming is pretty solid, and the gameplay builds on itself in a good way: it requires you to backtrack a couple times, but you get upgrades that make the second pass significantly easier.

My only criticism is that the upgrades slotting in/out wasn't really utilized, but the game is still good even without that.

Nico's Halloween Story by raks 2020-10-07T00:30:48Z ♥ 1

I enjoyed the artstyle of the game, and the music fit the game very well. I noticed there wasn't any options to lower the audio though.

I also noticed that the game just stops (?) at the end, and the ghost character just runs offscreen with no indication of the game being over. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug.

Bean Up! by TheGamer 2020-10-07T00:20:47Z ♥ 5

The game was fun, and I liked the greyscale aesthetic that you put into it. It would've been nice to see the blood effect and the main menu follow the rest of the game's aesthetics as well. The death counter at the title screen is also a fun addition. In terms of the sound, I found it too loud, so the included mute functionality is nice. I couldn't find a way to unmute without closing the game altogether, though. Additionally, I noticed that if you held A or D into a wall, you wouldn't be able to jump until you walked slightly out of the wall, which happened to me quite a few times.

Overall, fun game, but I wasn't able to finish it. I'm not very good at platformers.

This game promotes the very serious "cereal before milk" cause, which is, of course, the correct manner in which to consume cereal.
