Hi Guys. Sorry about the error, it worked for us, so it might have been the upload which has gone bad. It is now corrected!
I had a bunch of my friends try to download it. it worked for them. can you try again?
We updated the description. feel free to take a look, controls included. Sorry about the trouble with the initial upload of this game. we are learning from all your feedback though. thank you so much for your time. <3
Pretty cool submission, i like the idea of having to pick up upgrades for the towers, i haven't seen that before. the bloom might be a bit too much, but the effect is really cool. Also i think you are missing colliders on the building, i could run right through it. i played using chrome
Really cool game, with amazing intro. The movement felt satisfying, though i had a bit of a hard time figuring out if the baby could always be protected. All in all, really fun. played it for quite a while
Really fun puzzles, which were nice to fail, and retry anticipating the next challenge. Good job!
my dog got crushed :( loved the idea though!
the game is really fun to play, it feels good to make really high headers, and the walking sounds are really fun!
@bentebent Thank you so much for the kind words!
@manuel-guttieri Thanks for your feedback! We are still laughing at the yeet, ourselves!
Thanks for noticing the replayability. This was one of our key goals. I completely agree more sounds would be a great addition.
@bobost2 Trapping the shooter in the bathroom actually is an incredibly nice idea. We didn't think about that. Nice job to you too! :D
@molpe Thank you so much for your video, it is so lovely to see how you guys interact with the game!
I'm sorry you found it at bit repetetive. in the controls, you will see the ability to fast forward time with '.' hopefully that could make the game less repetetive.
Also, I almost peed my pants laughing at your "oohh, so I need to put away the dead body... CAN I EAT HIM??"
So fun. Thanks a bunch! ❤️
@quacky22200 hi. Thanks for playing the game. Pressing tab ingame should bring up your log og deaths, with a time and a cause. This should guide you through the game. Also, when the vip dies, try to figure out what happened before you restart the game.
really well thought out mechanics. really liked the idea. well done!
Really cool idea, i loved the light mechanic. I think an improvement could be to have to logs slowly give off less and less light, instead of just going 100% suddenly, it is a bit hard to figure out how long they will burn for.
I really loved the art, and keeper is so cute!
This was really well done, i like how it all fits together. At first i though that the game would be very easy, but it quickly get very stressful and challenging.
Really cool graphics, love the art style. the cats in disguise cracked me up, that was so fun!
Really nice graphics, and engaging design. It was really fun, and i spent way more time than i can justify, playing this :D
WebGL ran just fine for me. I love the AAA SFX you put into this, they were so fun! well done!
Cool submission, i like how developers literally needs coffee to stay alive. I would love for you to try our game, it also runs in web :D
Really loving the action. the game gradually increases in intensity, and does it really well. i made it to 800 points!
Really cool idea, i absolutely loved the graphics! I ran out of ghosts, but i guess i just won then? I played on chrome and it seemed to run nicely :D
really well done, really pretty little game. I ran out of water, and the drops didn't spawn quite often enough to keep the flowers going. Up the water spawn rate and it would be perfect! :D
Absolutely loved the scenes. the lights was beautiful and the simplistic colours on a very bland colour scheme looked pretty! The movement was a bit too quick, and i would have loved a sensitivity setting. Great work!
Quite fun! I liked being able to augment the rocket path with wormholes! Music also somehow didn't get boring even though it was a simple piece.
Actually really fun! I just had to fill the box!
I really liked the art style on this. I did find it a little bit hard to figure out who to deliver the packages to. I think, if you are building a game where we have to memorise which person is looking for what theme, that should be further worked towards. Otherwise, if you are looking to build a game where you deliver packages quickly, maybe try to give the people a look that explains what they want eg. the person who wants an exercise book should be wearing fitness clothing. Also i think it would be fun if we could throw the package from at distance, and we knew who to give it to, just to add some physics fun! Great idea nevertheless
Controls felt a little bit quick. I really liked the feel of throwing the orb into the basket, and the confetti though! I reckon your should consider inverting the normals of your levels, so that you only have normals facing inwards. That would fix the issue of the camera sometimes seeing the outside of the walls to the level, and should simplify your camera work in the future. Well done! :D
Good entry! I would love to be able to hold the arrow keys. Also i expected to be able to pick up multiple nuts at a time. I think this should be added, or should be specified that you can only hold one at a time :)
Good platforming, the jumping didn't feel floaty as often happens. I did find an issue where, if you stood at the bottom of at stair, and moved "into" the stair and tried jumping, the character couldn't jump. This can probably be fixed by not using a box collider, but using something more rounded. :)
I'm not sure if i encountered a bug, or didn't understand the rules, but sometimes when my snakes had multiple shapes in it, i would just die from making a turn, without touching anything. I really liked the idea though, and the music and sound was absolutely great!
I had a lot of fun trying this arcedey game. I think it would be great to add an upgrade shop, so that i could control which upgrades i bought.
I really liked this game. I think it is a super cool idea. I did manage to get stuck in a menu loop, and it felt quite hard getting back to speed when crashing in front of a rail but otherwise, it was great!
@rubixnoob13 The minimap is super simple. This is a rough outline. * Add a new camera to your scene, make it orthographic, and point it downwards * Create a render texture asset * in your minimap camera, set the "target texture" property to the render texture asset your created * in your UI, add a raw image, put your render texture in and BOOM, it should work!
On your comment about the blue rings, the drone was never supposed to go that high, it was a last minute fix, hence you get to see the little rings in 3d as well :D Feel free to contact me if you need any help :)
Incredibly complicated. I don't think the solution made a lot of sense, and the red herrings didn't help. With that said i think this is a super neat idea, and if the interactions tied more logically together and the game "told you" that you had made a correct connection, it would be fun to try the different interactions to finally get the entire puzzle solved.
I like the idea. Driving around was fun, and getting airtime was really fun. I managed to do a shortcut but using the bridge as a ramp, loved it.
I think the most confusing aspect to me was the navigation. The arrow showed a direct route, which usually didn't align with the road. A minimap would be a great help, and is super easy to implement.
Fun game. I do think it would be worth considering maybe making your energy bar refill entirely when touching a white cloud. I had a lot of fun trying to speedrun the levels, but having to "land" on a cloud to get the energy back took away a lot of the momentum, and thus a bit of the fun. Good idea nevertheless!
Super interesting concept. Really liked the idea. Was a bit confused since i expected sword spawns to always drop swords, but got it in the end. great innovation, and super polished. Well done!
Super cute little game. Absolutely loved the art style, and the depth of field really added to the aesthetics. I would love to see more gameplay in the future, with upgrades and other things. All in all really well done, and the most beautiful game i've seen this jam!
I really liked this take on the theme. I would consider allowing packages without a stamp to be thrown with fast throw, as it would possibly allow the player to place their own packages, and remove the opponent packages with another throw.
It was a super fun idea. I liked dropping packages while blasting at the speed of sound! Maybe consider not allowing players to deliver to the same house all the time, maybe put a timer on the houses, or force the player to deliver to all houses to complete the level.
I liked the platforming, but do have some ideas for how to improve it.
I think you should reconsider colors, and their meaning. Having pink as "save point" and purple as "kills me", i feel like those two colors are too close to eachother, with such different meaning. It would make more sense to have eg. green "save" and red "Kill". Furthermore, the elevators are white, and push me around, but the circles, which are also white will kill me. I assumed since they were white, that they would push me off the platform.
I really did like the "ghost" positions of the elevators though, so that i knew where they were stopping.
@leking good job on taking feedback. It's a really important skill to have. And thanks for the update.
Not sure if i don't get the concept, but i keep dying within seconds, sometimes less than a second. Maybe try and scale the difficulty over time or something
This was a super fun game. I wish there was a timer on the levels cause it feels super speedrunable! Very well done!
Fun little puzzler. I really liked the SFX, although maybe do a random roll to decide if the movement sound should be played. it's very frequent :D
i liked the idea. I think it would be nice if you had a limited amount of trucks though, to actually make you want to stack them as well as possible. Also it would be nice to be able to control the orientation of the boxes somehow. overall i liked it. well done! :D
Good entry, it seemed pretty polished, with great graphics and sfx. i also loved the "pick a handicap" as well. I think you should maybe try and use physics when picking up objects, that way furniture won't be pushed around as easily.
I was initially going vary carefully at it, but then figured out that you didn't have to be careful, and that made the game 10x better! Loved it, wish it was longer
Really good game. Super well designed puzzles, great sound effects, good story. Really well done, and feels very polished.
