nice work man!
Hi, Nice job! Interesting way to manage camera
Quite a fun little game. I like the music!
Nice drone game
I liked the physics you added in there, that added a lot to the experience. I do have a couple of suggestions for you. - I really liked the music at first, but after several minutes of it.... I can't compose so I don't really know what I'm talking about, but that one loud higher pitched motif got really repetitive. I feel like maybe something more chill would have suited it better. - The physics was definitely the most fun part, I feel like if you could lean into that a bit more and have more stuff that interacts with that mechanic, that would really add to the fun experience that's already there.
I was playing the game and suddently it stopped, like the music was still playing but everything froze (i play on opera), but despite that i liked this game, it has pretty nice graphics and a looping soundtrack got in my head after one minute, some features were unintuitive, like to leave the shop or tutorial you need to use the resque drone, and the camera was a bit annoying because it was moving so slowly, but overall pretty neat game!
I had fun with this game.I definitely played more than once.
I have a few notes. The tutorial text needs to always face the camera. While doing the tutorial I ran in to the problem of not being able to read the text because I drove too far. Speaking of which, I REALLY love the fact that the tutorial forces you to learn the mechanics in order to continue. When the game started I clicked to gain focus and the instructions page went away, but luckily I was able to read/play the tutorial without having to memorize anything.
I like the physics that you have but they worked against me too much. After my first play through I got the hang of it and started upgrading. But, once I upgraded speed I felt like I no longer had control of the car. Going to revisit this game a little later because I honestly want to see what the jump does, because I'm sure that would've saved me multiple times.
Cool game ! A classic take on the theme, but well made and fun (I loved the music). Good job
Cute robot/drone/droid? I noticed that the Ludum Dare page called it delivery DRONE, but on the link it's DROID? Music was catchy, but the loop was a bit too short in my opinion, which made it get repetitive rather quickly. Still, fun to drive around and deliver packages, cute game overall. You also commented on my entry about a minimap, I see your game has one, and I'm pretty sure when the rescue drone came to pick me up, I could see one of the blue rings that shows the warehouses on the map, so I have some ideas on how it works lol Great entry!
@rubixnoob13 The minimap is super simple. This is a rough outline. * Add a new camera to your scene, make it orthographic, and point it downwards * Create a render texture asset * in your minimap camera, set the "target texture" property to the render texture asset your created * in your UI, add a raw image, put your render texture in and BOOM, it should work!
On your comment about the blue rings, the drone was never supposed to go that high, it was a last minute fix, hence you get to see the little rings in 3d as well :D Feel free to contact me if you need any help :)
Very cool entry, I like it! It might be a little too slow, maybe in general, maybe just the acceleration. Just the fact that you put in that flying drone which also picks you up in such a small time frame of the jam is nice
I like the idea of this one. Driving around with a slippery car in a frantic environment is a really nice idea, and the map you had was really huge and made me really excited to explore! Once I got in the car however I found it pretty slow to control, and with the camera it felt a bit sea-sickening. I still played for a few days, but would have loved to see the pace and physics tightened up a little bit. I like the map that you had, very helpful, and the music was a nice (if repetitive) touch, maybe some sfx could have really fleshed out the vibe? Nice work!
I can drop the packages in the middle of the street sometimes. Just like my real delivery driver does! Enjoyed the little bits of extra fun you put around the map, such as the ramps.
