LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

TMO by aaronjbaptiste 2014-12-15T01:44:00

This game definitely has potential to be great if you made a fuller version of it without the jam restrictions.
The only problem was that you can't see how each upgrade will fit inside the board until after you've placed it.

Vicious Trap by Cuniculator 2014-12-08T15:42:00

Addicting, but it can be a bit too hard to predict where you'll land sometimes. I guess figuring it out is meant to be part of the challenge.

Cold Remembrance by GFM 2014-12-11T00:29:00

Beautiful graphics, story and music, but unfortunately the gameplay is literally just "hold left until you win the game".

I was expecting the seasons to reverse directions so I'd have to go right to survive, but then the game ended.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Diaball by Antti Haavikko 2018-12-15T01:38:29Z

Neat idea and great graphics and music, but a bit too frustrating due to lag. It's not clear exactly how close you can get to the walls without exploding.

LD45 — Start with nothing

Bearly Alive by bjeaurn 2019-10-06T22:37:13Z

Cute, but it should explain better that to eat, you first need to press E to grab a corpse, and then press spacebar.

The Hobo’s Guide to the Galaxy by KonH 2019-10-07T15:48:30Z

Cool game, but it's kind of hard to click when your character's near the edge of the screen.

No Body by lizelive 2019-10-06T22:59:22Z

WTF did I just play?

Purpose: Unknown by Frogravity 2019-10-07T15:40:23Z

Needs more weak enemies. I won 3 or 4 battles and every single other enemy was way overleveled for me. I don't know if I missed something.

LD46 — Keep it alive

Princess Ribbon by Goutye 2020-04-20T13:11:12Z

I thought this would be short and simple, but you kept adding new mechanics. This has potential for a post-jam version.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Tunnel of Love: I'm Digging It by chelC 2021-04-26T19:57:36Z

Had a game-breaking bug on the fourth level (the one with lava) where a piece would detach from the cursor, but remain semitransparent. Clicking "clear" does not return the piece to the inventory, so if it was necessary to clear the level, it becomes impossible.

Still, I enjoyed it a lot. Aside from that one bug, it's a well-made game.

In the Hole by Kramdar 2021-04-26T19:31:15Z

This has the potential to be a fun and addictive game, but currently the game boils down to "build tunnel, build sensor, extract any gems you find, repeat downwards."

Also, there's no point to extracting anything other than minerals (except if they happen to be right next to minerals) since you need to spend 2 minerals to get them, but it's always cheaper to just buy them directly.

LD49 — Unstable

Chickie Catchers by DDRKirbyISQ 2021-10-05T01:00:24Z

I got all the birds in the first level, and it told me to go right, but nothing happened. Still a nice game.

Ziggy Bungus: Pizza Delivery Simulator by skippuku 2021-10-14T00:40:40Z

The balance needs to be more lenient. I just gave up during level 3 because my wrists started to hurt from all the tiny adjustments I had to make to stay in the thin zone between "too slow to make any jumps" and "fall over".

Meltdown by Roka Josh 2021-10-17T03:19:39Z

Really cool game, but there needs to be a level skip/select option. I lost on the level where the Devil calls you, and that counted as winning the game so I had to start over to see if there was another ending. Then I failed the second attempt and gave up.

Other than that issue, I really loved this.

Duck Optimizer Pro 2021 by unplugred 2021-10-13T03:11:35Z

I really liked this one. Reminds me of the "Dismantlement" series of Flash games.

Careful Deer by Beth 2021-10-07T01:00:19Z

Controls were satisfying to figure out. I just tried to get both front legs extended in front of me, and then launched myself forward by pressing O and K at the same time.

In Balance by OlayColay 2021-10-06T03:36:32Z

The combat system is fun, characters are cute, writing is funny, music is nice, but everything else is rough. I don't understand the plot (chicken asks cat to save the world from out-of-control elements, cat refuses, but they go anyway), and the story is incomplete even by game jam standards (there's a lady in front of a cliff who fights me for no reason and has different battle music, so I guess she's supposed to be a boss and a bridge will appear when I beat her, but nothing happened).

As it is, it feels like you had ideas for an epic JRPG, but didn't have the time to finish things. If you continued to work on this project and added a more coherent plot, tutorials, and better-looking maps, you'd have something really nice that I'd be interested in playing more.

Dahu Hunt by Fractale 2021-10-14T13:11:41Z

The sprites for the Dahus and the statues at the end are taken from MappleStory, and the sound when you are seen is from Metal Gear Solid. I'm guessing other graphics and sounds were from other sources. Rules say that if you did not make all the graphics and sounds during the 72 jam period, you have to disable ratings for these categories.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Heal me, please! by Andrey_Zhukov 2022-04-07T16:14:32Z

Literally unplayable. Even in fullscreen, some important things are offscreen.

LD53 — Delivery

Whispers in the Lab by fidrik 2023-05-08T14:41:19Z

There might be an issue with deadzone on the controller. When I have the eye, the character sometimes continues running when I release the left stick.

This game is much better when played on the keyboard, but it didn't work in the web build. The desktop build was good, though.

Courrier de Souvenirs by MasterProject 2023-05-02T00:40:43Z

The game page isn't available to the public. It asks me for a password when I click the links.

Bunpacking by Chailotl 2023-05-03T04:20:40Z

There needs to be a mechanic like a time limit to incentivize the player to deliver multiple packages in one run. There's the score bonus, but since there's no time limit, there' no reason (apart from it being boring) to take that risk when it's way easier to just deliver the packages one by one.

LD54 — Limited Space

Magical Veggies by zanagi 2023-10-06T13:25:04Z

I'm literally addicted to this game. Whenever I think of doing anything, I feel this game pulling me towards it, tempting me to play it instead of doing anything else. This game is so fun it's ruining my life. 5/5.

2 Dudes against the Liquidator by Kitira 2023-10-10T00:43:41Z

I mostly liked it, but the time limit felt a bit too strict for a puzzle game. The control scheme and how it's used to rotate the pieces was clever, but having to deal with that, the time limit, and figuring out the correct order is too much.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Frogi by JEMH2K 2024-10-07T16:57:44Z

At first I was annoyed by how slow the aiming was, but I think it was an intentional choice to force you to think about where to aim, and it fits the relaxed mood. I got 135 points and I don't think I ever had a situation where I couldn't hit all the bugs because of the slow aiming speed.
