@someoneman sorry, we were setting up the page. It's public now.
Hey! Can you give any tips for controlling this without a mouse? Are we supposed to click on the exclamation marks? Thanks!

This was such an imaginative adventure! The art for all the different characters is what really made the experience. I really *felt* like I was drifting through the vastness of space, pondering the philosophies of love and war through the childlike eyes of my squid friend. The concept of Pudding Day where everyone takes a day off from war—the captain’s son can hand deliver a package to the enemy—is just cool. Made my eyes sparkle :)
Also the crypto bros made me laugh xD
My one tiny complaint is that traversing space was a little tedious  I loved the feeling of zooming out and seeing how big space was, and it wasn't the time between planets that bothered me, but just picking up so much speed and then it was difficult to slow down enough to aim where I wanted. Also I didn't even notice the beautiful art of Hugo and the Courrier in the spaceship until the end when I zoomed in all the way!! Would have loved to see that more.
Oh also I accidentally bumped into a random planet and some dialogue played, and then Hugo said something like “anyway, back to what I was saying…”, I was impressed by that!!
@gross-papillon we implemented gamepad support, but never managed to test it. On the topic of navigation, remember - you're in space, so there's no inertia. If you accelerate in a direction, you'll keep going until you accelerate in another one.
Such a nice experience to play this game. Like the book "Le Petit Prince" :)
Oooooh that's a very nice game you did there ! Loved the story and the graphics !
The game felt a bit slow, but everything else was nicely done!
The art was my favourite part of the game! The characters look great! I like the zoom in and zoom out, it really made it feel like you were in space, but moving from one place to the other was a bit tedious at times. I understand why everything was so far away and the movement of the spaceship but it still made it feel like too slow after some time playing.
Really nice entry It's well written and fun and the characters are all differents and their designs are really good (Hugo is too cute)
GG!
So cute! I love narrative takes on themes and this is the best one I've seen so far. The presentation is very cohesive - the graphics/audio/writing all work together very nicely. I chuckled at the Persona 5 reference. Great job!
Cool game, the art is so cute :>
Sometimes text overlaps other text if I get to a new place while some text is active.
Really cute game, loved all the different characters!
Haha out of all the games I played this gets the highest rating from me! everything about this is incredible! from the art style, open world design to side planets and characters and music, I LOVE THIS! as someone who really likes the story element of video games this kept me engaged for +30 minutes which is a lot of time for a jam-game! I enjoyed the diverse stories from the cute pigeon lady (couldn't find the warrior pigeon she talks about is it real?) to the sad story of the sculpture (is that the right word?) and the funky monkeys lol. I also love the attention to details like how a dog icon shows up when zooming and the many characters expression oh and how sometimes you have to press the text twice to read it, once to show half of it and another click to show the rest (don't think I didn't notice ). I get that some people may not like a story heavy game with not much action, but I absolutely love this! really nice work on putting this game together! everything just worked really well.
@0x-void-x0 thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! We had a plan to include a reference to Napigeon (something like a mysterious feather on one of the asteroids), but on the thick of it we ended up forgetting to add that...
Beautifully done. Loved learning about the different characters and bumping into random planets along the way. My one point of critique is that you can't see the ! icons if you're too far away from them, even when you maximally zoom out.
Very cute! I enjoyed the writing. Nice job!
What an adventure. That was cute, but also a bit sad, but like, in a good way. I really liked playing, you did a great job on this game.
