Harvesting Motherboards by MaxKyckling 2021-10-14T12:12:28Z

Dude! this game is waay too polished for a game jam, really impressive I really love it, shooting feels just satisfying, well done!

In terms of critisism I would say: -not being able to move while shooting feels kind of non responsive, if it was intended to not be able to move while aiming then consider making an "aim posing" animation to help with readability -the ammo number is confusing, is the second number the max ammo ? or is it additional bullets I can reload into the gun.. ?

Of course this is a Jam Game so it natural for it not to be perfect, but regardless of that you did a really well job!

Akameis by BJakubowski 2021-10-05T17:27:00Z

Sacrament of Alchemists by MachaonOrientis 2021-10-05T07:33:55Z

oof, super laggy for me I think it needs some more optimizations especially when it comes to memory usage, this game takes way too much memory even at the start, all in all I still enjoyed the idea and made it a few platforms away

ooh look at that, that different ammo system is cool as well

Chemical Love by der Mondhase 2021-10-08T18:28:32Z

the game is fun, interesting dialogues as well. it could use a bit more refining in terms of Art/Audio but I guess this is to be expected for a quick Jam Game, other than that the game is pretty well designed, I would love to know out of curiousity what Engine/Library was it made with ?

Randomazer by Plotnikov Ilya 2021-10-08T17:59:50Z

I wish I was more of a math person so I would know but I tried everything I could, and it seems unbeatable.. but IS IT ????. anyway awesome game, I'm surprised that it's fun even though it only has one level (I think)

Geometry Survivors by udo 2022-04-05T13:22:20Z

I like how fast paced this game can get, the visuals remind me of an old flash game I used to play, it's quite a fun game that doesn't get repetetive quickly. well done!

DeckHex by Iluvatar 2022-04-04T19:31:09Z

I really love this game, the voice acting is top notch and the graphics are just amazing. well done guys you really made something and a half!!

Endless Ninjas by fidrik 2022-04-04T21:42:00Z

wow the games reminds me alot about "Sekiro", the dodging/pary and the stamina system, I also like the attention to details for example the arrows in the ground that indicates that you're parying it makes for a good feedback. the only thing that I found a bit off is how your stamina never regenerates (assuming I wasn't doing it wrong lol). which leads to the low risk strategie of only dodging but that's just how I felt about it. anyway the game is pretty cool, and the graphics doesn't feel like it was made in limited time at all which is a plus, really well done

Healer, LFG by malero 2022-04-06T14:01:01Z

the game was confusing to me in the first time, but I got it eventually I like the strategie/planning element here and the Boomer fighter lol, nice work

My happy weedy farm by Marin0104 2022-04-05T09:18:32Z

this game is cute and quite fun to play! I love these kinds of games, just one thing I would recommend is that you disable the "Graphics" vote because you're using an external art that you didn't create during the jam, other than that it's a really cool consept

@marin0104 thanks for doing that, I appreciate the honesty

Mini Game DUD by gustavo.christino 2022-04-06T10:06:24Z

this game is a bit confusing at first but I don't think it's bad, the art style is cute (the dead bodies under the blanket are spooky lol), I think it could use some sound effects and music etc.. but overall it's a fine game

The Journey of the HMS Theseus by Tad 2022-04-04T20:51:58Z

CVC Presents: The tale of Plague Doctor Man (John Withah) by David Mason 2022-04-06T11:20:04Z

OBRUTA by Dmitry Kaidash 2022-04-05T11:23:13Z

this game is such a visual art! the ground getting destroyed is such a cool feature that doesn't sound easy to make, I really love this game. the only thing that is a bit of is how the attack direction feels off. but other than that this is really well done I love it

Quota Qrunch by macs 2022-04-08T10:44:59Z

Awesome game! I really like the art style and the whole consept of it, I couldn't meet my quota in the first two rounds and blamed it on me being slow and confused but then all the next quota seemed impossible, and the pee-your-pants thingy lol (how can someone pee that much). The ending where you get put in a box yourself is a fun addition too, well done guys!

ThatsLife by maxi1324 2022-04-06T10:49:48Z

awesome game, the controls were challenging especially when the truck starts turning randomly. but it does have a nice feedback loop it felt rewarding to destroy all the factories, well done!

Prophet Kingdom by dans17 2022-04-08T11:08:01Z

I think this is the first asymmetric game I've seen so far, I like the visuals and the music, the gameplay is a bit confusing at first but it was fun to get into, nice work!

Circuits by mira 2022-04-04T19:54:08Z

love the idea of making a game out of multiple games! cool idea as well, good work

Circuits by mira 2022-04-04T20:21:42Z

@mira yeah no kidding lol, if you did 8 minigames you would've been gone by now. I think the game is fun as it is and you guys should give yourselves a pat on the back (or give it to each other, it's easier that way I think)

Click to Continue by Daniel Foutz 2022-04-04T12:55:11Z

that took quite a dark turn lol, awesome game I like the voice acting (reminds me of GladOs to some degree). the gameplay is quite shocking (literally) but enjoyable as well. I wonder if anyone would play this game and stop at some point lol

From Beyond The Stars by 0X_VOID_X0 2022-04-05T08:53:37Z

@taffaz yeah I thought about making powerups triggerable with the keyboard but i didn't know if it would work lol

@turkey thanks for the feedback! I tried to make the shield follow the direction of the arrows (including up and down) but Im really a nooby when it comes to angles and trigonometry

@holyblackcat yes I made the music myself, I'm happy you liked it! and quite proud of it too

@kobylarz you sure did delay the inevitable (and beat my record somehow), I might make a 2.0 version after the jam and I think I would make the powerups transparent untill you hover over them

@ikvelibrium thank you! I don't even remember why I added the flip option lol it was one of those brain-fart moments where I can't focus on a task so a jump to another more stupid task just to get that feeling of doing something lol

@dzejpi happy to have a fellow godoter too, I think you have somekind of a powerful 6th sense for detecting godot games lol because I wouldn't be able to tell that the game was made in godot if I didn't make it lol, anyway I'm glad you enjoyed it!

@algebruh thanks alot ,happy to know I didn't screw up with the difficulty because I spent the very last few hours just tweeking it.. I agree it does feel like an aim trainer at some point lol

@pennycook thanks for the feedback I used "Bfxr" for sound effects which was my first time using it so I had to itterate alot to make sure I don't mess things up, and I definitely agree with you about the font, I wanted to change it to something cure in the end but I felt out of time, I'll add your recommended font if I do a 2.0 version, thank you!

SensenCemetery by Wouter52 2022-04-06T10:14:20Z

the scariest game I played so far lol, no because the jumpscare but baucause of the anticipation, just waiting for the moster to get me at any moment lol. I really like the atmosphere and the "design your grave" thing it's pretty unique, as a fan of the horror genre of game I think this game is awesome!

Hospital Dash by brads.space 2022-04-05T16:31:52Z

the game is generaly fun and feels responsive to play, I like the idea of just draging dead bodies behind the ambulance lol, the only thing I would change is that some limitation like time limit to make the game more challenging, but other than that I think the game is fun and cute

Un-Rooted by Denhette 2022-04-05T12:08:39Z

this game gave me a good chuckle I love it, it's funny how if you try to leave through the window the character looses its mind lol, but I really like this game and the little attentions to details here and there like how you can customize your character, really well done guys

Trash Panic! by Defrag 2022-04-04T13:23:38Z

great game!, I'm not used to the ASDF control so it was a bit hard to operate (tho to each their own), but I did have fun. would listen to the sound effects again lol

All Lines lead to boom by Peter Ondus 2022-04-06T12:26:00Z

the game is a bit confusing at first, but once you get the idea (and the whole strategie), it would help a bit if there was some kind of text or UI to guide you but I think this game is enjoyable to play! nicely done

Future me problem by noskro 2022-04-06T10:18:22Z

this surprisingly feels like a hardcore puzzle game, I really like how it takes some thinking and planning to create a tower of trash lol, and the story idea is funny as well. all in all this game is much fun to play, I love it

Clockwork by Olsie 2022-04-06T14:21:53Z

Great game! I really enjoyed the challenge and stress of running out of time while sliding arround lol, the controls feel just challenging enough without getting in the way and the art style fits the theme as well, I made it to 11 collectables, and then the game became hard for me to keep going, but I had a fun time!

Faster Than Time by EPU 2022-04-04T22:44:22Z

nice game, I think the art and animations are quite cool, fighting infinite army of flying robots is also cool lol, tho i think the game could use a warning for people with epilepsy ,also as an advice I would recommend you publish your game on something like itch.io instead of google drive, because google drive could be a bit of a pain for users to download your game (they get a warning that the exe could be harmful + it's not obvious how you can download all the files + google drive is not designed for sharing executable so it treats them with unnecessary caution sometimes). anyway good job with the game

Mad Monkey Manor by not-tomo 2022-04-08T13:16:10Z

I love how subtle the tutorial is, the music that doesn't get in the way, the dark souls reference.. all the attention to details is great in this game and I really like it, well done!

Giraffe o'Clock by Kepsert 2022-04-05T13:10:32Z

this is honestly one of the best games in here so far, the art style, music, consept. even the dialogues game me quite the laugh, I really love this game. I could be wrong but weren't you the guy who said before the jam that no matter what the theme is you'll make a giraffe game ? if it was you then Damn I really didn't expect it to be this good.. all in all you did an awesome work and you should give yourself(s) a pat on the back!!

Keep the tower alive by PickNucker 2022-04-05T09:11:36Z

the quality of this game is quite impressive! it does feel like a finished product especially with the loading screen art and UI, the gameplay loop is also fun but I got overwhelmed quickly lol, great game!

Slip or Trip by erikengineengineer 2022-04-05T10:09:21Z

awesome game! I love how you added a bit of lore to the characters, and keeping balance at orange section is quite challenging alright. really well done

Timebound by zSharpFire 2022-04-06T13:56:36Z

this game has quite a positive feedback loop that kept me hooked for a moment, I love the simplicity of it, and how you have to multitask strategically to get anywhere, I trully enjoyed it

Brace for Impact by Bob Verhoef 2022-04-07T14:45:50Z

the art style and music of this game are just perfect, you guys did a great job on that, the gameplay is also fun and I love the attention to details like that funky bouncing ball lol

Delay the inevitable - Death by sephyr 2022-04-04T13:06:02Z

gotta admit the game is a bit rough around the edges, it has good potential, and the idea of choosing from a set of tools is nice as well.

Workplace Accidents by tendencydriven 2022-04-06T12:41:40Z

the game remind me alot of an old flash game named "haunt the house: "https://www.gamezhero.com/games/hauntthehouse, was it inspired by this game ?, overall the game is fun although a bit stressful as well, good work!

Under Performer by Allax 2022-04-08T13:05:30Z

this was a fun game with even more fun minigames, I liked the art and music combination. the sexual stuff was unnecessary though

Nightwaker by Bottled up Dark Peace 2022-04-05T20:48:02Z

this game is pretty well structured, the visuals are cool as well. I like the idea of a plague where you're not allowed to sleep it really sounds like a cool consept for a novel. anyway switching from one scene to another in the web bulid is a bit laggy and has caused my browser to crash once for some reason. but I did enjoy the gameplay nevetheless

Nightwaker by Bottled up Dark Peace 2022-04-05T20:49:14Z

Woah! I just realized that a lot of people worked on this game, how did you manage to not get in each others way ? I thought that once your team is bigger than 2 or 3 it becomes hard to manage.

Monday Is Coming by hunklebink 2022-04-04T20:16:47Z

hello I would love to play your game but I don't know what engine/framework you used so I can't really use the source code. could you please provide an executable game, or a web build (you can use itch.io to upload the game as a web build and link it here), thank you.

Monday Is Coming by hunklebink 2022-04-04T20:55:10Z

@hunklebink it's ok, you can build for windows (and optionaly linux/mac), and then link it here, right now you are sharing the source code of your game, meaning that I will have to have unreal engine installed to play it, which I don't (and not all people do). I would recommend you look up a tutorial on how to build for windows (assuming you don't know, no offense)

Monday Is Coming by hunklebink 2022-04-04T21:28:12Z

awesome, I played your game it's working just fine, it's also a really nice game that would've gone to waste if you didn't fix this issue. I wish you good luck!

Delay Your Murder by joties 2022-04-04T22:28:39Z

I like the consept in this game, tho I'm too much of a completionist so I had to get all the choices which took some time lol, and I gotta admite the murderer is quite nice about it too. the game could use more.. umm.. objects ? or particles I guess ? i don't know but it feels a bit empty visually, but I did have a good time so good job on that!

Old Run by AlgeBRUH 2022-04-04T20:13:56Z

the game idea is funny lol, just casually getting a hearth attack while running from bandits, the style in combination with the camera angle is also quite cool. although as a bit of criticism I would say that I didn't like how the game closes after you die, it would've been better if you restarted the scene or something. but generaly speaking this game is good

Out of Controls? by Bumble 2022-04-04T20:37:58Z

the game has a well made multitasking challenge, I tried to be smart and stick to the edge but I got punished for it anyway lol, really like the game. as a bit of criticism I wish your buttons don't get permanently destroyed at some point, I would like to keep going untill I run out of health but that's just how I feel about it

Doomed Spacequest by FulminDerek 2022-04-05T16:23:44Z

The gameplay loop on this game is so much fun, I replayed it multiple time and it still felt fun to play. the rewarding feeling you get when you dodge multiple enemies with multiple ships at the same time is awesome, the only thing that needed a bit of work is the music, but the game itself is pretty solid and you should be proud!

poisoned hero by subvertissement 2022-04-08T13:09:47Z

a bit confusing at first but this game has a good consept, didn't expect to find a potion mixing game in the jam, but I'm not disappointed, the music could use some improvement but overall the game is just dandy!

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

TchouTchou: the game by sebbernery 2022-10-03T19:01:37Z

I wish this game had some sort of in game tutorial, it took me a while to understand, but I like the ressource management, also music sounds familiar lol I can't say I didn't move my head to it in a really funky way .

Light and Dark by interface 2022-10-06T18:11:54Z

I think this one deserve a good rate in the innovation section, really nice idea and mechanics. the game feel original without straying from the theme which is great! one thing that I wish was done differently is the Waiting.. if I want a door to open I have to wait for it, if it was just close I'll have to wait even longer, no one likes waiting! especially for more than a few seconds, I think it kind of breaks the flow of the game. other than that I think you did a great job! especially for a solo dev

Helping by MossGames 2022-10-07T23:00:07Z

Nice game idea with simple fun mechanics, I like the addition of "people" passing quickly, it adds to the already existing stress lol

Auto Parker by BathPirate 2022-10-04T19:23:09Z

F.PNG man this game is challenging, I love how you managed to make a 3d game run smoothly on the browser while many other simple 2d games insist that you download a native build to play.. anyway the gameplay is really fun, the game is easy to understand which is a big plus. also I don't know if this counts as an exploit but you can avoid loosing by hitting cancel right before the car hits an object, leading to potentially infinit tries lol

10 Second Dojo by Secretmapper 2022-10-06T10:43:13Z

interesting consept I really like the gameplay loop of thois game, the gore and blood gives you a sense of feedback while the collectables give you a sense of direction so that you're not just running arround aimlessly waiting for the attack to recharge, I think you did pretty well on the gameplay side, one thing I would change is how enemies immediately circle you after you attack, it happens so fast and made me end up loosing health almost everytime I attack, wish there was some kind of cooldown, maybe 1 second of cooldown for the enemies so that you can run away... anyway I think the gameplay is quite satisfying, also this is the only game I've seen that offers easy and hard mode, we should do that more with our games. good work!

Impending Doom of a Thousand Kitties by RalfZ 2022-10-05T18:46:31Z

Haha reminds me of that time I had 6 cats at once... quite the memories lol. I absolutly love the art style of this game and the cute idea! really well done

Radioactive Rocket Fuel by JonathanG 2022-10-04T21:33:17Z

this game is really misterious and big I love it! I like how you used many layers of stars it gave a really nice effect, wish I tought about this in ld50 when I made a space game lol, the UI could use a bit more polish but the gameplay is really solid (reminds me of an old flash game where you build and use multiple rockets untill you make the perfect one and reach the moon)

Seconds These Days by indigo 2022-10-03T18:20:02Z

I like the idea here, really nice interpretation of the theme. tho I wish the dialogs didn't skip too quickly. it takes some trial and error to learn what the game is all about but once I did it became fun to play! nice entry

Marins Dream Garden by boaheck-artgent 2022-10-21T10:33:49Z

really cute and fun experience, I like it has farming, resource management and platforming all at the same time, did you make this all by yourself ? I gotta admite that's really impressive, the modeling is done really well with the character's face animations lol and the music could use some mastering here and there but it sound really nice with the game, love and the jazzy fanciness going on lol. and of course the game itself is really nice, well done!

Speed Barber by PhoenixofForce 2022-10-06T21:08:03Z

really simple but fun game that managed to feel engaging, I love the art and gameplay. also realized that you guys went with SDL, I always appreciate the effort when people go low level instead of using a high level framework or game engine and you deserve credit for that my fellow nerds lol. also been cheking the source code and let me tell you that despit the time limit you managed to keep your code clean and understandable, great work!

Terra Nova by N4tticus 2022-10-21T11:09:43Z

really love the gameplay loop in this game, it feels polished and well designed, the enemies have a really nice variation and the boss fight was enjoyable, the art style and music work pretty well together which is really cool. also you deserve a lot of credits for not restarting the whole game after the player dies, I feel like jam games should do this more often. great work!

Burn Notice by pinkemma 2022-10-07T12:35:24Z

Really love the consept of this game! the shadow mechanic is a creative idea and the gameplay is chaotic but fun! I like the added locks to deal with as it adds a sense of objective while you wait for the delivery, I've noticed many games that involve time don't do this and instead make you wait for the timer doing nothing, this game nails that issue which is great! nice work

Groceries, Please! by Togis 2022-10-05T14:20:32Z

Haha this game is really addictive I love it! it was a bit difficult to understand how things work at the start but once I understood I had plenty of fun, love the attention to details and how you have to shake the scanner every now and then lol. the moment I saw the two 3d figures I knew it was made by Tobugis! haven't seen you guys in a while (I used to visit your streams like a year ago as "FBI_OFFICIAL_AGENCY" lol). well done!

10 Second Laps by albertnez 2022-10-07T12:58:47Z

Very simple game with fun yet addictive mechanics, that's all I'd ask for from any good jam game and your game did just that! really love the idea behind it, and how the generation works, I had a lot of fun playing this game! also I think the pitch shifting sound when you restart the game is really satisfying, well done!

One thing I wish the game told me about is that the more you hold space the further you jump, I didn't realize this at first which would've saved my butt, all in all you did a great job!

CVC Presents: A Button by The Enigma 2022-10-06T23:17:13Z

I think the consept of the game is good, and as someone who enjoyes sad / depressing stories and the feeling of dread they tend to invoke I did follow the radio for a while, though I feel like this game could use some more polish, starting from the button itself. you can actually have the game being all about that button while still managing to keep it fun as demonstrated in this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L1B5YaxxoA&t=384s

maybe a bit of sound effects as well, but that's just me saying , also like how you kept the same characters from previous games it gives a sense of familiarity. I hope that you at least enjoyed your times making this game

The First Fire by scottgoldsmith 2022-10-06T21:34:45Z

pretty cute game you made! you deserve credit for building for all pc platforms as well as the web! you'd be surprised of how many people don't build for web even if they're one click away from doing so! the game is simple yet fun, and as a fan of pico8 I think you did a good job with the art and sound effects, great work!

Schedule Master's dungeon adventure by SanyingLi 2022-10-07T13:07:27Z

I think this is one of the few games where the art style and music work together pretty well to inforce the idea of the game, reall like the UX of the game and how the game is made out of many small mechanics that are well combined together.

a bit of critisism:

I think the game is quite hard to understand even after checking the help text, I appreciate the pause menu which allowed me to catch up and read a bit but I which the help text was done better, also the settings button's icon is confusing lol I though it was something to do with multiplayer or something

great work with the game, i had fun!

Fatal Desolation by Lukas TAMAYO 2022-10-05T19:32:54Z

this is a very solid entry! and one of the most creative ideas I've seen so far, the music reminds me of that game DarkWood which really really great and the game itself gave me a good laugh and made me paranoid at the same time, don't know how you did that but really great work everyone!

Hero for 10 seconds by Swen 2022-10-04T12:40:03Z

Capture2.PNG lol gave it my best, the game gives an impression of being easy at the start but it gets really difficult at some point. I love the voice acting too lol. solid entry, I love it!

Bake-o-mancer by Fis 2022-10-04T19:57:15Z

I like this game's consept, the art style is great in combination with the soundtrack, it does have seme good management decision making and strategy element to it but it feels very unbalanced, I mean that luck plays a role in a way that you either get very lucky or very unlucky with no inbetween which was quite difficult for me. anyway nice work everyone

THE SUMMON by evgenimp 2022-10-04T12:13:34Z

this was... interesting, at first I didn't realize you can swipe so I just sat there waiting lol, tried all combinations because I'm too much of a completionist to not do so. found a "glitch in the system" where you can keep throwing molotovs at the commissariat again and again. I like the idea of this game, war is no joke. well done!

Dodge48 by thesnide 2022-10-07T11:37:22Z

aww many it's Pico8!!! I love the cute gameplay and the familiar sound effects of pico8. the game is simple yet really fun (and chaotic if you play with 4 players lol). making the game multiplayer is an interesting choice, I don't think many players would have someone to play with so I wish there was some simple bot system in there for the lonelies of us . also really like the attraction mechanic, makes me think that the game's code is more complex than it seems

great work!

RandoBots by Brusi 2022-10-04T18:45:56Z

This game is so fun! I love how simple yet effective it is at keeping me playing for so long. the "WAKAWAKA" sound when the game changes is a nice touch as well. wish this was open source tho as I would love to check how the ai is designed to drive and to shoot at your future position etc.. great work!

Robbie Robot by Firesplash Entertainment 2022-10-07T13:36:25Z

That seemless transition from tutorial to gameplay was really smooth I love it! tried doing something similar with my game but ended up being too much of a hustle. love the simple yet engaging mechanics and the nice level design, the music was great as well though it felt repetetive at some point. but I did enjoy the gameplay! which is great

Smack Demon by Firebelley 2022-10-04T10:28:47Z

A simple game with simple mechanics and great delivery! I really enjoyed the strategic element of this game, the idea is great too! I feel like this can be pushed into the app store with some more polish and more levels. and you made it in 12 hours which is even more impressive! great work

Gambling Battle by Myhomor 2022-10-04T13:05:25Z

lol the game threw me tright into actin as soon I hit play, which I think I like. tho it seems the game only has one short level ? don't know if I did something wrong but It's quite a shame I didn't get to play more

Distracted Driver by organicpencil 2022-10-03T18:07:52Z

this one is plain hillarius lol, the funky controls, the messages and the darn Ai I don't know how you designed the Ai of other cars and deers but man it feels alive! really well done also, I don't know why but the web build doesn't seem to work

Every ten seconds, the game skips... by davidsheadgames 2022-10-06T10:52:44Z

The idea is pretty original which is great! the story telling at the start is always a plus too. I managed to reach the dragon but how I'm I supposed to beat him? I don't know if you playtested that level but It's pretty much impossible, the dragon attacks you at spawn so you always take 1 damage and there is no damage cooldown while the dragon just keep shooting non stop, really brok the mood for me. I think the game itself is fun, the speed element (even when reading at the start lol) is there but that last level could use some refactoring

10 Seconds Defense by oda 2022-10-06T22:48:42Z

nice pico8 entry, I think you deserve some credit for going with pico8 here! I like how you somehow managed to integrate the theme with a tower defense game, also like the attention to details like how the towers play some animation before shooting and how you put some effort into the music that plays when you loose lol. only thing I would change is maybe some kind of visual way for the player to know that the tower is recharging, I though that the game was buggy at first because only some towers were working but then it hit me that the theme was "10 seconds".. anyway nice game, I enjoyed it

Quinx by Joshua Weggartner 2022-10-07T10:24:48Z

Solid entry, really love the art style and the shadow effect (no idea how it works lol). this game is really fun and engaging and things just get too chaotic before you know it, it felt satisfying dodging all the traps at the last second but that circle that follows you always ended up killing me . really innovative game great work!

G.PNG

Lava Crossing by GibsS 2022-10-05T17:08:31Z

oh man this game is difficult!!! is it beatable? it can't be beatable right? I made it to about 50% in my best playthrough.. anyway the game is simple but nice, I like how you made the main consept of the game out of shaders, I wish I could make fancy shaders like that lol. but nice work! really sweat game.

oh and one last thing, how do you detect if player touches the lava? do you use some kind of compute shader? I'm curious

The Oxinaut by Budark 2022-10-03T19:23:27Z

hello, the zip file is corrupted please fix it when you can

Carton Carrier by dimlight 2022-10-05T11:26:17Z

fantastic game! I saw your post you did while the jam was running (when you shared some screenshots etc..) and I definitely didn't think the game will end up like this! really great work, the art style, music, gameplay it's a really creative entry this is. the only think that I wasn't a big fan of is the timer, I know that's what the theme is all about but it feels really fast.. other than that you really did a great job on this one!

UAO?P by Raivk 2022-10-03T21:54:32Z

well.. that was.. weird lol. tho it felt good rushing through the options as fast as I could, it's a shame you don't get enough time to read everything because I'm a sucker for reading stuff lol especially the "Useless text" text. I think my favorite thing about this entry is the visuals, how the menu looks really polished, the bloom effect and how everything is so animated.. must've taken quite a while polishing things.

really well done!

Nova Pulse Bakery by WegPast 2022-10-04T20:15:55Z

love the art style of this game, and how organized everything look, tho I had a hard time understanding how everything work, wish there was a tutorial of some sort. anyway I think the idea is very original and funny, nice work!

VÖLUSPÁ : Twilight of the Gods by Mathoslink 2022-10-07T12:46:13Z

I was surprised to see a bit of lore at the start and some story telling element, you don't see this a lot in a jam game, as a sucker for a good lore I really enjoyed reading through the entire thing lol. I think the idea of the game is pretty nice and the art style is amazing but the game itself is Difficult!!! maybe it's just my baby brain being slow but I really struggled and couldn't for the life of me beat the dang wolf. I feel like the game is a bit too punishing when it comes to the 10 seconds limit, I know it's the theme and all but it feels too quick, I fell for this mistake when making my game as well and learned that if the game feels a bit difficult to you the dev, it's probably hella difficult for others.. but that's just my opinion.

love the variety in and how each option require its own minigame, that some innovation right there, (although I found a little exploit in the letters minigame where you can randomly spam all letters and still make it in time lol). great work!

Warrior, Wizard Rogue by TheseusInABottle 2022-10-04T19:06:07Z

lol still trying to process what I just witnessed. this is that one game in every jam that leaves you with more questions than answers and I love it! the soundtrack is neat, I can't say I didn't hum along.. the gameplay is a bit weird tho,

KAIROS, Battle for Seconds by Paul Giovannini 2022-10-04T10:59:27Z

This entry is just incredible how you managed to combine gameplay with beautiful art and really appealing lore is beyond me, I had so much fun playing this game it feels like just a few steps away from a steam game! also love the attention to details like how your wings change color when you can dash etc.. very well done everyone this is team work done right !

10 Snekonds by YogurtTheHorse 2022-10-04T16:25:30Z

the game is a big hard to get into, but once it clicked I had a lot of fun! I love how you turned a well known idea (Snake) into such fun and juicy game and the art style makes things even better, really nice work!

Oroboros by Black Potion 2022-10-04T14:44:31Z

A very innovative approach to the theme! I love the lore at the start and how the story progresses. the idea of the game can make for a commercial project I think. nice job!

What's the rules? by Pusheeneiro 2022-10-07T09:58:55Z

Haha this reminds me of an old falsh game with similar idea, love the simple yet consistent art style and the creative puzzles that characterize these kinds of games. only thing I wish was done different is the difficulty, something I learned by making difficult games in the past 2 jams is that it's really difficult to balance, you have little time for playtesting and people here are so different, some will go through your game like it's nothing while others struggle at the simplest tasks, trust me I've seen many streamers play my games and there is a huge skill gap between each person so I wish this game was a bit easier so it can be approachable by more people.. anyway that's just me rambling. that game is really good I enjoyed these AHAA! moments it gave me. well done

Holospecter by theStoff 2022-10-06T16:19:19Z

Amazing game with gorgeous art style! really enjoyed finishing it, I think the game idea is pretty solid even more so with the added lore and the sense of curiousity is has, the voice acting is always appreciated too. I think this is one of the best games I've played so far mainly because of the art and mechanics.

if I'm to give a bit of criticism I would say waiting for the ability to recharge feels like a flow breaker, sometimes I'm dashing arround running as fast as I can parkouring non stop whitch feels badass but then I have to stop and wait for the ability to recharge in order to move on, I wish that wasn't the case, also encountered a bug where lazer still detected me even when I was invisible, but that's not really a game breaker, I mean what jam game doesn't have its fair share of bugs lol.

anyway I think this game is great, hope to see it in the top 10 for the art category

Gottschalk by krakadushka 2022-10-06T22:09:20Z

I could not win a single round for the life of me lol, I blame whoever put me in charge alright.. I think my favorite thing about this game, which is something I'm yet to see any other game do (including mine) is how the tutorial is clear and understandable without saying a single word, I instantly understood that I have to rank up and that a space force attacked earth etc.. based only on images which is a really nice thing! the art style is great although that last image when you loose caught me offguard lol. the story telling is always a plus and the gameplay is fun as well. awesome work!

10 is The End by TrueVacuum 2022-10-03T18:25:53Z

hey, I would love to play this game, it looks interesting. but the problem is that the window size is too big for my display, I have a 1680x1050 monitor and your game has a much bigger size than that. I feel like you may loose a number of potential players if you don't scale down your window (usually it's recommended to go with 1280x720).

Craving souls by Nexonium 2022-10-03T20:46:10Z

no link!! please provide a link when you can. not sure why but I've encountered many games with no links today I wonder if it has something to do with the website itself

Trick or Retreat 3.10 by Lone_Wolf 2022-10-06T22:23:06Z

just realized you have a series of halloween games, never seen a series of games in a game jam before lol creative idea, I love the story telling element of this game, my first ending was apparently the longest one to get to  what can I see, I'm a detective by nature or something lol. though I feel like the only reason that you implemented the lock pick minigame is so that the game matches the theme, oh sneaky sneaky you.. great work!

Rabbit Help Rabbit by JoshuaRabbit 2022-10-06T23:38:52Z

Haha this game is a perfect example where every aspect of the game work together to support one fun mechanic, I really love how simple yet addictive it is, the idea of switching characters with different abilities is really creative, the character design and variation works pretty well and the voiceovers are the cherry on top

great work on this game! also noticed that all your games are about cut little rabbits lol, you deserve a good humor rating for that

Puzzle Frency by mCayn 2022-10-06T11:15:54Z

I think this game is too difficult for the average player, unless you're used to play puzzles like these (don't know what they're called ). I wish there was some kind of hint or more forgiving mechanics overall..

don't get me wrong, I think the idea is pretty original and the UI is well designed (love how the bow rotated in sync with the timer). but the gameplay is not for all people, nice work though!

Solar Flare by Hannah Kequom 2022-10-05T18:10:44Z

I'm surprised that this game has a small file size, but it's a fun game! it's kind of hard to understand at first but once I got it it became a fun adrenaline rush running form one safe spot to another right before the beat resets lol, the camera smoothing gave me a headach I wish it wasn't too smooth but I think the movement and gameplay loop is pretty solid, (also love the menu design Haha). great work!

Cosmic Crashers by mrjeremy 2022-10-04T21:47:53Z

Haha really solid entry, this has one of my favorite game loops so far, the gameplay is really fun and the voice acting adds to the immersion. I feel like this could be turned into a real game with more mechanics and more polishing overall. really well done!

Citri Plays Noirwood by AploveStudio 2022-10-03T21:33:55Z

this is such a unique consept, I really love the idea of this game and its approach to the theme. graphics are simple but very effective, someone kept spamming pogos in the chat smh, great work!

Space Buggers by Minipeps 2022-10-03T17:49:23Z

Really like the idea behind this one, I do believe that it could use some more polishing but hey the core gameplay is there, also like the path finding, well done

Town (町) by Fedora 2022-10-07T11:22:35Z

this game is really difficult to understand at first, I followed the tutorial but I was still hard for my baby brain , impressive how you managed to have a lot of mechanics and things going on in such a short time, really cool! the resource management is quite challenging and the art style is lovely and easy to understand.

only criticism I have is that you have many mechanics that could be overwhelming for a nooby so it's probably better to stick to few and well polished mechanics instead, nice work!

Curse of the Wereburger by Brainloaf Studio 2022-10-04T17:41:24Z

love the game! the art style+animation is absolutely gorgeous and the game idea is just as great. I had a lot of fun playing the entire game, wish there was more levels in the game but all in all this is a really well done entry

Field O' Fiends by Baconeta 2022-10-03T23:14:23Z

controls are a bit clunky but I did enjoy the game, I like the idea behind it and how you have to position yourself in the right spot so that once plants become monsters you get the most optimal strategie lol, also made it to the top of the leaderboard.. for now..

I must admite, the leaderboard idea is really smart, I don't think I would've played as much as I did if there wasn't a leaderboard waiting for my name to reach the top lol

Sir CaffeineALot by Neisha 2022-10-06T12:04:36Z

The game feel polish and well designed, the art style is really cute! bonus point for the flip animation when you change direction lol, the only thing I would change is how you restart the game from the very beginning once you loose, remember this is a jam game, players are not necessarily invested in your game so having to start all over may be quite the turn off, anyway I think the consept is pretty solid and the planning and strategy element is well done. good job!

Babbage's Cabbages by BangKerpow 2022-10-07T12:51:57Z

really smart game with interesting mechanics, must've been challenging to make the collision work as the platform shrinks and expands, really nice work with the puzzles especially some puzzles the required a good memory. nice work!

BLOODKNIFE : KNIFE OF BLOOD by TomatoLamp 2022-10-15T23:42:26Z

The game feels abit unpolished but I think it has a solid gameplay, I like the idea of changing from shop to fight every 10 seconds, it gives a sense of strategie and planning, also the forging mechanic prevents player from getting bored in the shop waiting for the timer which is great! though I feel like fighting the enemies isn't as satisfying as it should it took me a while to understand how combat work.. anyway I think the game is pretty solid just a bit rough arround the edges, nice work!

ps: I figures a bug where you can forge and buy from the shop by clicking the buttons without getting closer to the menu lol

You're Furnished! The 10-Second Movers by Xenith 2022-10-11T22:11:51Z

I think this game has a really creative idea, the whole consept of 10 seconds furnitures of money back is fun and similar in spirit to the idea I went with, the art style is really great too but I think the gameplay could use some polishing here and there, mainly I wish the person delivering the furniture was doing so faster to create a sense of urgency and maybe some kind of timer so that I know when to panic and when to DIE PANICING!! lol. don't get me wrong I do think that the game is fun but I think it could use some tweaking here and there, anyway you really did great for the short time you had, well done!

Avoid the Asteroid by Fractal Flower Girl 2022-10-05T22:17:49Z

OMG a jam game made in scratch ??? I've never seen that before you guys are amazing, that's how you get a 5/5 in Innovation

I really love how you guys made a game in such a simple framework yet managed to make the gameplay more fun than a lot of other games I played. I'm really impressed, I know the game isn't complicated of visually mind-blowing but I think it has exactly what a good jam game should have, the Fun element!

nice work everyone, trully!

RoomZ by John llyod Apolo 2022-10-07T13:26:51Z

Like how every rooms has it's own machanics, the enemy design is nice as well, though I feel like you didn't have enough time for more levels it was a shame the game ended too quickly. I found a little exploit where you can shoot the enemies before entering the room lol, but worry not I have a decent enough sportsmanship to not do that . cool game!

Corrupt Dungeon by Reyansh 2022-10-07T13:50:05Z

The game feels unfinished, like you ran out of time or something, wish the sword could rotate and maybe more enemies with different mechanics? good gameplay loop though, hope you had fun making it at least!

ItGrows by Jim jagers 2022-10-07T13:15:56Z

This was a fun experience the game gave me some horror vibes as I was constently afraid of running into the beast, I like the music and the collectables as they help give the player a sense of direction instead of just running in one direction. though I think it would've worked better if the background wasn't a solid color as I didn't know how fast I was moving or accelerating, but I like the overall mood. nice work

EPOCH by Wouter52 2022-10-05T15:14:19Z

this is a really fun consept, I love how you took insperation from a real work issue and applied that really well to match the theme. great work

iAmNotEdible by ilya096 2022-10-04T11:31:52Z

interesting to see that 8 people worked on this game! that's the biggest team I've seen so far. I think the game needs some more polishin, but I did enjoy the story and art style (and that very suspicious animal following me arround lol)

Storm Raider by spacecadet 2022-10-03T18:47:39Z

great level design, I like how some levels require precision in where to place the box and how to position yourself, though I think waiting 10 seconds for the cameras to go off is a bit much, if I was the robber I would run out of patience and rush in guns blazing lol

Seconds in Command by Javid Ladhani 2022-10-03T21:05:37Z

Straight forward, Easy to understand and fun! that's all I would ask from a good jam-game, and your game did just that! this is one of the best games I played so far. really love the idea(s) and the design of each character. game got stuck at miss roxane and had to start over lol but other than that I had fun playing this game, great work!

Shady business by Peche et Tradition 1867 2022-10-05T12:01:37Z

this is incredible! not only did you manage to make some fine consept art and great 3d models in such a short time, but also the gamplay itself is really solid! I can already see this on itch.io in the future after some polishing and additional mechanics! this game deserves to be continued after the jam.. really nice work everyone I had a really great time!

Accelerato by stewthepoo 2022-10-03T22:50:39Z

hello. your web build isn't working, you have to rebuild your game but instead of naming the export with your game's name, try to name it "index". this should generate an index.html file which is what the website is expecting. also make sure your files are in a .Zip files and not .Rar or somthing else.

also consider providing a windows build so that at least you have a playable build if nothing else works. best of luck

It Comes At Midnight by Legolula 2022-10-06T11:43:39Z

this quickly turned into a memory based speedrun game lol. love the aesthetics and the mood, the art style is great too and good old drakula is scary as ever! I found the game to be quite confusing which I guess is to be expected from these kinds of games, has to memorize many things yet still manager to screw things up completely lol great entry!

Just In Time ! by Heine Hohenhart 2022-10-03T18:00:13Z

oh my god! this game is really challenging lol. I love how it kept me on my toes all the time especially at the start, switching between characters is a really nice consept I feel like it adds a new layer of resource management on top of what you already have to deal with, Good Game!

Bygone Melodies by Save Sloth Studios 2022-10-04T17:22:42Z

This is a real perl of the jam! everything about it the art style the music, the lore and implementation it all comes together to form such a great game! really well done

BackToSchool by Ironfred 2022-10-07T16:08:42Z

OH MY GOOOOD, this game gets a 5/5 mood rating for scaring the crap out of me, and I've played my fair share of horror, everything about this game from the dark, spiders, long empty hallways and that gosh darm bear!!!! you really nailed the horror feel of the game. I couldn't get too far because that bear kept getting me at a certain narrow passage but I had an adrenaline rush dodging him to go the other way lol. really spooky game, oh and that "hehe" I feel like I heard it in a horror game before, sounds familiar. anyway great work on the game it's really creepy

Relaxing Roots by SharpLoaded 2022-10-07T11:11:37Z

The game starts slow but gets chaotic very quickly lol, tried going for an optimal path so I can survive for long, but you can only survive for too long. the game is quite relaxing indeex, I like the woosh sounds in the music that appear from time to time, also I think with some more mechanics and a bit more polishing this game has a good potential! nice work

Survive Another 10 Seconds by crotonyl_alcohol 2022-10-07T21:11:30Z

this game is actually pretty fun! you managed to make it just hard enough to be challenging without getting in the way. the art is not bad at all and the upgrade system prevents the game from getting dull which is exactly why I kept going at it for a while! the only thing that I would change is how the upgrade menu kind of breaks the flow of the game, I wish it didn't have to stop the game completely especially since the game is really action heavy, other than that I think this is really fun! great work!

The Day Time stood still by Sixela963 2022-10-11T22:29:41Z

Temperature goes low enough to freez time itself, damn that's deep lol I feel like this could work as a sci-fi idea for a commercial game or something.. anyway the idea of this game is creative, I think the city aesthetics and the music work well too, though I think the gameplay is lacking compared to other aspect, I wish there were more mechanics to it, maybe the enemies could use some tweaking etc.. anyway nice work with the game!

Run Grandma!Run! by Coye 2022-10-05T17:50:09Z

my reaction while playing this game went from, "ooh creepy" to "OMG OMG OMG RUUN" to "What the heck did I just witnessed" lol. love the creepy idea as a fan of horror games the art style is great as well, though I wish this game had more mechanics to it

all in all I think it's a good entry

Decrypt by Gabriel Chan 2022-10-06T17:50:46Z

The interface and graphics are really well done! I love how the aesthetics perfectly match the idea of the game, the music is subtle but noticable. I really like the idea you went with, and the execution, well done!

one thing I would change is how difficult it is to move letters arround, you don't get a sense of feedback so the game feels irresponsive when you move a letter but it doesn't move where you want it, other than that I think the game is pretty solid!

Enter The Black by KoalaNalle 2022-10-04T12:55:44Z

the level must've taken a while to build, really like the consept of this game and the lore at the start, I'm a fan of horror games so this was quite a ride for me, tho I didn't like how there is no sense of objective I didn't know what to look for untill I found the gas can, then I knew I should head to the maintenance area which is likely to have a generator. anyway I did enjoy dodging the monsters as I ran in a panic lol. survived for so long untill a monster spawned right at my position and killed me

Sleepcheckers by Ehon 2022-10-03T23:33:26Z

damn this game is not easy at all, the very consept of sleepwatchers is eery and the art style makes it even more spooly lol, I did enjoy the puzzle element of the game though I had to constantly keep watch of the time which kind of got in the way at some point, also I wish the tutorial didn't have so much text, I don't know maybe something interactive or whatever. but all in all this game was really fun and that face when you get cought did indeed give me quite a scare lol

Not Enough Sleep by Jupitern 2022-10-03T19:11:42Z

WAIT!!! before you go to sleep, there is no link.. can y'all provide a link, I need a link... A LIIIIIINK

Not Enough Sleep by Jupitern 2022-10-03T19:55:19Z

got it lol, you know in every jam there is always this one games that makes your brain just stop lol, and this my friends is the one! and I absolutely love it!!!

Stranded in Mars by Dreamerflow 2022-10-05T22:32:55Z

oh my! you made this using SDL, you're such a nerd and I love it as a fellow nerd! I really like how you went low level with this one and made something that is playable!

Good job on the modeling I think it's nice, also like the story element of the game reminds me of the start of No Man's Sky. though the game was a bit dark on my monitor I managed to figure things out once the flashlight started working. great job man this was creative!

$EasyMoney by sslees 2022-10-06T21:47:40Z

cool game, really enjoy games that implement the theme in more than one mechanic, I like how every level have its own quirks and level design, that sneaky sneaky leap of faith got me more times than I'm willing to admite lol, I think some pitch randomization on the sound effects could add a bit more favor to the game, but all in all I did enjoy playing it, nice work!

ChickChick by DaivyIsHere 2022-10-07T15:47:18Z

I wish I had someone to play with because I feel like there is some lost potential in playing solo, anyway I think the game is actually pretty fun, the art style fits the game perfectly and so does the music! I love how you took the theme idea and made a fun party game out of it, though I feel like online games in a game jam are doomed to not catch too much traffic due to their nature. but I think you did a great job with this game, had fun even if alone :smile_cat:

METAHACK by Tetane 2022-10-04T12:31:34Z

lol saw this game and couldn't resist clicking, I really love the idea and the whole vibe of the game, music is really well done and the sound effects are the cherry on top Haha. great work!

10-Second Magic Artist by vivyhasadream 2022-10-05T11:41:48Z

not usually a big fan of AI based entries, but this one really deserves its place, the core game itself is fun and the added AI really makes it even better, I appreciate how you used a dedicated server for this. here's a good one I got

AIGalleryPainting-2022-10-05_12-38-32.png

Dichotomy by StudioCherno 2022-10-06T19:13:56Z

The game fails to open (not the launcher) with an error saying that SetThreadDescription doesn exist in KERNEL32.dll. I'm guessing this has something to do with the fact that I'm using... [*looks at the ground in shame*] windows 7 lol. I'm not familiar enough with Win32 api but that's just me guessing. anyway I'm not sure if that's a design choice but I wish Hazel can support windows 7 since as you can see there are some people who still live in the dinosaurs age for.. reasons... (too difficult to move so many things from one OS to another)

T&T - Trips & Ticks by Pentaworks 2022-10-05T23:27:59Z

the idea behind this game is really clever, I think this could even work for a coop game. though I believe that the game lacks some polish as I found it really hard to understand the game at first, maybe some form of feedback indicating that you can move the player that is in the dark area etc.. truth be told I think the consept is really good and fits the theme without feeling forced, which is great! but i would add elements of clarity to the gameplay to help communicate the idea better, nice work! also love the voiceover lol reminds me of the old days playing Age Of Empire 2

To Catch a Wizard by badcop 2022-10-05T23:44:06Z

You psycooooooo!!!! this is the closest a jam game has gotten to a dark souls game in my opinion lol, the rage is definitely there, my smart-butt thought it's a good idea to shoot briks as they fall so that they get thrown into the boss in phase 2, needless to say it ended badly. really great game man! I love how difficult yet appealing it is to finish, really nice work

Squirrel Time by Finn Pickart 2022-10-05T19:17:49Z

really nice game idea! I love it when developers go with unique ideas that don't easily come to mind, the art style is great, I think the music is too sharp for my poor ear lol, maybe if it was lower by an octave or something.. anyway great game, enjoyed the mechanics (and now I hate foxes lol)

UMBRELLA REVENGE by SAGIII 2022-10-05T10:23:58Z

this is one of the most polished games I've played so far! the art is absolutely gorgeous! and the music fits pretty well too. the gameplay is also nice although I think you get more time than needed, I guess it's better safe than sorry lol. I also like how you move to the next level depending on where you were at the last one. great job everyone!

Void Well by Helzinko 2022-10-04T11:15:00Z

This reminds me of an old flash game where you play as batman, it had somewhat similar mechanics, anyway really love the idea of this game, the art style adds to the vibe, and man was it difficult, I kept getting in the way of the blocks like a metal head lol. great work!

Woolly Fire by Arthur Sorignet--Gautrot 2022-10-05T18:03:14Z

this is quite a challenging game for me, I hade a bit of trouble figuring things out at the start, but I like the gameplay loop and how you get a feedback for playing well. although needless to say I sucked badly at it lol, really couldn't keep up with all the fires everywhere, I wish I had like an army of trucks lol, maybe a helicopter of 10 as well, also really love the art style and how the world feels like a play board. pretty nice game!

Big Irony by karataskn20 2022-10-07T16:14:48Z

graphics are nice, music too! I like the idea of this game, reminds me of some old flash game I used to play, though I wish there was a single player mode to this so that players that don't have a second person to play like myself can enjoy as well. the upgrade mechanics are nice as they can change the balance of the game but I feel like the theme isn't fully integrated into the game..

Bork by parsonB 2022-10-06T11:06:47Z

Haha the music alone deserves a high innovation/audio point, the humor is also there! and the art style is the cherry on top, really nice work!

I think the tutorial is a bit confusing, especialy before you get to play, I realized that the gameplay wasn't as complicated as the tutorial made me think, so maybe that needs some work, other than that great job on this game

Heroic Chrono Fantasy by Feynallein 2022-10-03T19:34:18Z

really enjoyed this game, the minigames are fun and just feel rewarding, I played too many super hard games so far this game feels like a fresh air lol, the arrows puzzle was a bit difficult to understand but other than that I really enjoyed rushing into the fight!!

Peekaboo by VictorFinger 2022-10-05T21:37:53Z

oh my god this game belong with the legendary horror games on itch.. I hate it, with every aton in my body (in a good way). as a fan of horror games this really got my adrenaline rushing, even the menu made me go WTF lol

geniounly one of the scariest games I played in a while I think it does a great job at playing the anticipation game, letting the player's nerves burn slowly before anything happen. and I love it for that!! reminds me a lot of 5 nights at freddy's. I really wish you guys get work on this further and publish it on itch at one point... anyway I think the only thing I didn't like is that the game was a bit heavy for my Gt1030, it was quite laggy which shouldn't be the case for a mostly static game, I'm pretty sure you can optimize it to a point where it can run on relativly low end devices while still maintaining a playable quality, but that's just me talking... anyway really great work. this was one hell of an experience for me!

A "Ding" In The Dark by yoko-san 2022-10-04T00:05:33Z

well that was... weird.. lol. the first and second part of the game are like completely different games lol, I really love the 3d models and how cute they look despite the horror vide, also didn't understand what to do with the emails at first, it's not obvious that you can drag and drop. anyway, great game!

Sasha Jump by Amythyst 2022-10-06T18:47:48Z

I have a feeling you had a lot of fun designing this game! really like how moody it feels with the beuatiful and somewhat nostalgic pixel art, the story telling is always a welcomed touch. I wish I didn't have to wait for 10 seconds to change the time but I guess that's what the theme is all about, regardless, I really like this game! wish it had some music though :smirk_cat:

Such a short notice to move all the boxes and leave the green door... by Parpello 2022-10-05T18:17:13Z

gotta admite this game was too difficult for me at level 2, I don't know how it's possible to finish the game at all lol. the game itself is really cute, reminds me of the Portal series (exept there are no portals). I like the art style and the panic it made me feel all the time!!!

Helloween Survivors by MerlinPerlin 2022-10-05T15:25:08Z

lol I had too many monsters chasing me my browser crashed!! I like how simple yet engaging this game is, the upgrade system makes you feel invested in the game, I went for a speed build tho to make sure they never reach me lol. nice work

Embrace by ThGold 2022-10-03T18:14:19Z

nice art-style! I wish this game had english text as it would be understood by a wider range of player

Ten Secs To Pack! by SpacelionJoe 2022-10-04T20:45:08Z

really nice experience! the game is not difficult but fun and engaging, I like how much variety there is with the items. also... forgive me but I made a little mess....

Hard School Day by Baidan6 2022-10-06T14:49:17Z

Fun game! really love how you achieved a fun gameplay with simple mechanics, I think it could use some polishing when it comes to art and sound effects, but all in all I think it's pretty good

Sokobyo by Roroto Sic 2022-10-05T12:35:02Z

love the simplistic art style and gameplay, I think the game could use some more polishing, maybe some sound effects as well?

Cyblade: The Tale of Mark Wan by innocuousuk 2022-10-07T16:28:43Z

really nice game idea, I like how each arm has its own cooldown, quite the creative mechanic. also like the art style and how the character's head in the UI changes as you take more damage, the melee combat could use some improvements because it's hard to tell if I'm close enough or not, maybe some additional enemy variation, envirenemnt collision etc could give it more life. but I think the game isn't bad at all for a jam game

Lab Slime by Cheville 2022-10-06T18:03:22Z

Had a lot of fun playing this game! it's really brain melting especialy on endless mode, really love the art style as well and the cute looking creature (poor thing didn't have to suffer )

the level generation is trully impressive, I'm guessing it's procedural which is something to be proud of as you really nailed that aspect! I wish the text in the menu buttons wasn't green, it makes it really hard to see with the green background, I had to look really close to understand lol, other than that I think the game is pretty well made, great work!

Puncher Pusher by WhumpusWu 2022-10-10T13:25:19Z

this game gets very chaotic before you even realize it lol, I love the creative idea of the game and the effort put into designing the level with all the small but funny deails like the paintings on the wall . I played the original version because I prefer to judge based on the actual jam game and oh man my frame rates started falling just like them NPCs when you punch them lol. nice work, really enjoyed this game though!

Torquemada, Heretic Slayer by Kostas Nik 2022-10-04T22:02:57Z

oof, really love how you nailed the level generation in this game, it does feel like the map is hand crafted, the gameplay is fast and chaotic which is great for a jam game! also like the art and the little backstory there, good game

Piggy's adventure by Gheorghe Topa 2022-10-03T18:57:19Z

hey, there is no download like :( would love to try the game so please provide a like when you can. also wow 5 people worked on this game, that's interesting!

Dragon Slayer Ultra by retrosaurdev 2022-10-03T23:47:44Z

this has to be my favorite entry so far, it's really creative a well made. I can feel the adrenaline rush as I run from one save to another thinking about the most optimal path to take, the whole story is also amazing! the idea of traveling all that distance just to go back to the very beginning by carefully picking safe spots makes this game even better. really love the idea! good work guys.

Dragon Slayer Ultra by retrosaurdev 2022-10-03T23:59:12Z

@retrosaurdev Also, will the art for this game be publicly available at some point ? would love to study it up close and learn from it

Insecticide by unprecedented 2022-10-03T22:39:42Z

man the multitasking in this game is really well designed, love how you have to fight enemies while having to manage the plants! also like how some enemies chase you while other you have to chase yourself that's a great idea! nicely done

Retention Ink by blayms 2022-10-04T16:11:59Z

this is why I like game jams, people come up with all sort of creative ideas lol. really love this game, the art style is unusual and nice and the gameplay is really funky . I also like how you move with the mouse instead of the keyboard. well done!

Cantina Spirit by Fever 2022-10-04T21:54:23Z

really creative idea! I find it funny how the NPCs just keep sliding arround making a mess, the game got really chaotic very quickly lol. would love to see some of the cut features back

Make Haste, Detective! by frogwizardhat 2022-10-03T22:20:16Z

lol this entry is really fun, I can tell you had just as much fun comming up with the dialogs and all the voice acting. really love the consept of the game and the fact that it has 3 cases instead of 1. tho the only case I got right was the first one  I knew the cat was innocent..

In Season by Ha-kuro 2022-10-03T18:41:19Z

111.PNG my god this was such a blast! the game kept me at my toes the entire time I love it!! I also really love the idea and art style (including the "no" head animation lol). really well done I love this entry

Sort Me Right Out by omphh 2022-10-04T10:36:51Z

ah yes! the very relatable feeling of having to throw costumers into a bottomless pit before your boss fires you lol. really fun game i enjoyed the mechanics, you get a plus for implementing upgrades. nice work

The Dawn by Hora-Timer 2022-10-06T18:27:07Z

This was a surprisingly fun experience, the mechanics are simple but addictive which is exactly what I look for in a LD game! the game is chaotic with non stop action, though there is no health system so I killed the enemies mainly so that they don't stick to my face lol

I think the game could use some more polish when it comes to enemy interactions and behaviors. also maybe multiple levels would make a great variety, but anyway the gameplay look is pretty fun! nice game. also bonus point for going low level with SDL I always like a fellow nerd

Nua by Cayurr 2022-10-05T22:46:29Z

I feel like this is one of your first attempt at working with Godot, is that right ?

I think the consept of this game is good, and for your first jam game you really should be proud! the art style is nice as well. although I believe that the game could use some more polish on the gameplay side, maybe more level variety, enemies etc.. but as I said before for a first finished project I think you as a developer have a potential! good job

Termination Imminent by Kizilejderha 2022-10-06T22:39:26Z

nice innovative game! I love the consept and I think with more story element and more polish it can be turned into a commercial game, I like the legal/illegal system and how it progresses as you do. the enemies are really difficult to sneak past (untill you get a gun). I wish the difficulty was a bit less harsh for potatos like myself, maybe more forgiving enemy detection etc.. but I guess there is fun in a challenge as well (although this game admittedly made me rage at some point lol). nice entry, well done!

It's Snake, But Every 10 Seconds The Food Turns Into Walls by Aristurtle 2022-10-05T17:44:16Z

Haha this game is a blast! I love how you took a simple idea and turned it into something more creative, I tried to be smart and follow a strategie where I don't eat any point, remain small and dodge the walls but I guess in theory it doesn't make a difference in difficulty if you eat to points or ignore them because both actions will fill more space.. anyway I also noticed that you used monogames, I haven't seen a monogames game in so long.. nice work!

Vastitas Fracturae by GnawNitsuj 2022-10-05T22:09:34Z

Dude why does this have to be so sad? lol, I like this game, I'm a sucker for sad / disturbing stories, and the shock value they leave in a person, love the emptiness and sense of dread these story can make you feel, (of course not in a bad way, I don't enjoy watching the world burn lol). anyway I really like this game, I think it could use some more mechanics, maybe collectables to give the player a sense of purpuse for a while at least, I couldn't for the life of me find a good strategie to dodge the enemies for too long, they always get me Haha, had a lot of fun playing this game tho, nice entry!

also I think you guys should play some more games if you want more traction towards yours, best of luck!

FifteenRooms by DurkaGames 2022-10-05T17:32:54Z

I really like the consept of this game, it reminds me of an episode from an old cartoon I used to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0a5KEvqfH4

the story is really intriguing and the exploration element is solid too. though I wish I didn't have to wait for so long for a spesific room to appear, I got stuck for too long at the password thingy, I thought the numbers were representing the steps that the thief took (2 left 1 up 1 left) but that wasn't the case, I couldn't figure it out lol

LD52 — Harvest

Lavender Fields Forever by Rongo Matane 2023-01-10T09:21:00Z

beautiful game, really like the music and art style, the combat feels as juicy as it should and I really love the attention to details. well done!

my feedback for this game is that I often felt like I had no purpose, the game doesn't tell you much about what to do so I found my self just waiting for gnomes to do some satisfying shooting but maybe that's just me, and also the resolution is way too large for my monitor (Web), you guys should aim for a smaller resolution so anyone with any monitor can play.

other than that well done, it's crazy how much you've done in 3 days while my teammate left me work alone and went to play roblox lol

Fallowtide by Jeremy Ryan 2023-01-30T10:48:57Z

@jeremy-ryan I enjoyed the music of the game so I made A little remake in my style, this is also a thank you for always making fan art of a bunch of games in the end of ld, even if my game isn't necessarily one of them, I still want to thank you for the effort, anyway here it is, I hope you like it: https://soundcloud.com/dissonant_void/fallowtide-remake

LD53 — Delivery

Long Tail by HitchH1k3r 2023-05-04T09:57:42Z

This was fun to play, I like the concept of the game and the nice art style, I'm not that good with puzzle so I was able to only go so far but I had fun with it, I feel like the ability to cross your tail once helped the puzzle design a lot but was hard to understand before I read the hint, nice work!

Airborne Adventures by firellon 2023-05-03T18:59:30Z

the art style of this game is really good, I like the variety of mechanics and systems you got, the player movement feels really slow I guess that's part of the level design but it felt a bit weird, but I had fun going through the story of the game, good entry indeed!

DElive by IcyLava 2023-05-03T18:03:09Z

This has to be one of the most fun jam games I've played, so engaging and really well design, congrats on making such great game, I've managed to reach level 24 on first try, but I can do better, I'll be trying some more 11.PNG

Dr. Orca's Delivery by one-seed-fruit 2023-05-16T22:07:30Z

What the heck did I just play??? this is why I love Jam games, people just do all sort of crazy things and it's funny . honestly I really enjoyed the art style and music but the gameplay was a bit too simple, I wish there was more to it, but I had fun nonetheless, great work with the creative idea!

it's a shame you guys didn't play enough games to get karma, you should play other people's games next time so your game is more recommended

Rotting Hood's De-liver-y Service by Kyle Farwell 2023-05-16T21:55:52Z

This gets an easy 5/5 innovation from me, the story telling is really creative and made me laugh, the art style is nice and the overall concept is what I love to find in a game jam lol, my only issue was with the gameplay, while the gameplay is just as creative and I appreciate the liver having the word "Liver" on it for dummies like myself, there was no audio in the game so I couldn't really hear anything, this isn't your fault I'd guess so I didn't take that into account for the vote but I somehow managed to play pretty decently with no audio lol how'bout that? the game is full of attention to detail and I love it! like the "I'm not a zombie" captcha, the different dialogues as you restart and the sus toys inside people . overall I think this is a great game with a really nice idea, you guys should try to play more games before the voting week is over if you want to get a score, I wish you luck on that!

Cyberwurm by Mysticaldev 2023-05-14T22:27:21Z

The art is nice and the idea is fairly innovative but I feel like the gameplay lakes a purpose, I mean I do have a goal of collecting eggs but that's it! the enemies are fairly easy to dodge and it gets repetitive after a while maybe there could be more enemy types or some obstacles, don't get me wrong the game is nice for a jam game but I feel like the gameplay and the punishing death is a bit much, hope you had fun making this game!

Transformation Delivery by jimun 2023-05-03T15:14:43Z

you say that this isn't much of a game but I really had fun playing it! I think the idea of packages affecting you is pretty innovative, the level design is pretty simple but it works! bonus points for using lua and the Love library, I love both of them, I admit that this game could use some more polish and more content but it really isn't as bad as you may thing, nice work!

Causality Couriers by David Yates 2023-05-09T22:09:30Z

Nice twist on the theme, as a big fun of the story telling aspect of video games, I had fun pushing forward in the story and experimenting, I didn't really find a need to save, maybe I'm just an overconfident dummy but I did pretty good! just a recommendation: you should play some other games so your game is recommended more to people

Haitatsu Delivery Technologies by ghost-in-the-toast 2023-05-08T00:04:12Z

amazing game with awesome art and music, very moody indeed, I don't know how you achieved the light in the riles, conduit said it's something to do with shader but I suspect it's something to do with sprite clipping as well? I never used game maker so I have no clue, but i was really amazed by that, the art is also pretty good, don't you think I missed the double moon at the start lol, my only issue was with the boss fight, it took a while and I was starting to think that I'm not supposed to be shooting it so I went to grab the hanging package and ended up dying, and you know that thing when you can almost beat a game first try then never reach that progress again? well that's what happened to me, I just kept dying by bees in the boss room, I wish I got to experience what's after but I had my fair share of fun for sure! really nice work, especially when you consider the time limits you had!

Devilery by AltTabber 2023-05-02T00:46:12Z

that's one spooky spooky game, probably shouldn't have played it right before bed lol, I like this still of games and I like a good story even more, I really enjoyed the story telling and the pacing of the game, the art style fits perfectly and the music helps set the mood, I was nervous the whole time expecting a jump scare but thankfully there were none (I didn't get caught so I don't know what that would've done), pretty decent entry nice work!

Watching by Jajo 2023-05-09T22:25:19Z

This was an interesting entry to this jam, the idea is clear and nice and the mechanics are simple to understand, I like how if you die you respawn without loosing progress, I wish more games would do that! the whole time I was like "wait a minute is this 3d?? no it's 2d that looks 3d.. no way this is 3d.. is it though??" I honestly don't know if it's 3d or 2d but the ship and level perspective definitely makes it look 3d which is incredible!

one point that I see other mentioning as well is the jar file, I know people can be a little harsh about it but you never know what you're downloading from the internet, I don't mean to distrust you, hell you even have the source code available but I had to use anti-virus scan just to cure my paranoia. the issue is that jar files are like python files there are executed by another program so you can run quite the capable malware without admin privileges which can make people skeptical, it's not that big of a deal for most of us, I ended up playing the game anyway but there are people who don't want to take the risk, maybe a web build if you can would be great next jam. but all in all I think this is a decent game, and I hope you had fun making it because in the end that's all that matters!

Aunt Emmas by gagapete 2023-05-09T23:14:12Z

I enjoyed the gameplay loop of this game, the mouse based movement is definitely an interesting approach and having different objectives for day and night keeps the game engaging and interesting, the mechanics are simple and very easy to understand, I think this can be expanded with more vegetables and maybe more ways to deliver them, maybe even having a restaurant where you plant your own food lol listen to me ramble.. the pixel art is also really nice! great work with this game!

Mouth Feel by ColeSlaughter 2023-05-06T11:58:23Z

one heck of an experience for sure, this has to be the most innovative game I've played so far, everything is just so well thought out and put together, the mechanics, art, delivery, it's just all good! incredible job you did with this game, I'm glad there are jems like these between all the pizza delivery and car driving games this LD

Wrath of Joey Bob, son of Garharanth by jandourek 2023-05-19T16:11:54Z

really nice and simple game I enjoyed the chaotic vibe! I'm curious how you coded the physics in Godot, I know that kinematic to rigidbody interaction is not ideal in Godot and being able to throw the gun inside the truck and have it move along the truck and bounce is also really impressive! nice work

International Relief Corps by CharlesE 2023-05-03T15:57:35Z

ooh this game is really hard to navigate, I think the consept is good, and the top down camera reminds me a lot of DarkWood but I feel like the gameplay could use some improvements or maybe a tutorial, it's not clear where I should go one I finish an assignment, and the text at the start is quite long to read, the "sign here" is a good idea instead of a simple button, this isn't bad for a jam game but it could use some tweaking here and there

A Very Important Message by Roka Josh 2023-05-17T13:32:22Z

The download contains only a web folder, I'm guessing this is a mistake? I tried to host the html using python `python -m http.server` but had issues, it's a shame I can't play the game, the page and comments are intriguing! feel free to tag me if you fix the issue

A Very Important Message by Roka Josh 2023-05-17T13:59:28Z

Haha I"m so glad I got to play this game, it has a certain flash games vibe to it, something about playing again and again each time getting closer than really got me addicted! the gameplay loop is so fun that I deliberately missed the kingdom just so i can fly more lol, the first time I missed the kingdom I was like "wait the kingdom is behind me? no problem I'll travel around the planet and reach it again". the music is also beautiful and adds to the overall vibe, bouncing off all sorts of bouncers felt really epic, all in all this game is really good, it's a shame you didn't rate many games so people can get to play this masterpiece! great work, seriously!

Age of Mail by Swordfish 2023-05-04T16:18:43Z

I like the art style and audio of this game, it's impressive that you found the time to polish a compo game, the gameplay is fairly simple but not bad at all, collision is a bit tricky between islands I think, but this is a great entry for a compo, impressive polish too!

Elevander of the Emu Express by Honest Dan 2023-05-02T20:46:08Z

this is the cutest version of dark souls I've ever played lol I let the beautiful art style foul me but the game was quite a challenge, doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it because I did! the mechanics are very enjoyable and the art is an easy 5/5 for me, seriously this is really well done, way too good for a jam game! question: how did you design the solid ground? it doesn't look like a tilemap, I'm curious how you achieved that

Schooled by arron-fowler 2023-05-05T11:42:43Z

dude you made a fricking simulation for a jam? that's so cool! I love the idea of this game and how you took the risk with an unusual concept like that, I love simulations so this was easily engaging for me, I had so much fun experimenting with strategies and found out that the best is to act like an actual fish lol and stay low and close to other fish.. my only issue with this game was the punishing restart, if you die no matter your progress you have to start all over, I wish I'd start from the current level instead but other than that this was innovative and entertaining

Maily Melo by Blix 2023-05-05T23:24:31Z

Probably the best art style I've seen so far in this jam, I really like the uniqueness of this game the idea of having many characters each with their design, personality and character is praise worthy especially when you consider the time pressure, I had fun reading the well tought out letters, some of them are weirder than others lol, my only bit of criticism is that I wish the letters content was a bit shorter, it made me tired having to read a long letter and make a decision just to read another long letter, don't get me wrong the content was fun but I felt exhausted after a while, other than that this game is awesome, nice work everyone!

The Great Beer Robbery by PoshDan 2023-05-09T21:59:47Z

this is one of the highest rated games by me even after all the mountain of games I've played! the attention to details is my favorite part from the tutorial to how enemies can destroy beer to how the beer aiming is forgiving to how if you hit the horse beers can fly right into the yellow circle sometimes.. I had so much fun with this game, the combat is satisfying especially when taking 4 people at the same time and the mechanics are really simple yet effective! I also love how beers also give you health back leading to some intense decision making near the end, this game just works and I love it!

Banish Pit by Firebelley 2023-05-03T22:51:45Z

This is the most unusual game I've played by far, the huge view, unusual attack mechanics and enemy design it's interesting, I don't mean this in a bad way it's just an observation, I don't think I've played a jam game before where you have to jump if you want to attack which is creative, all in all, I had plenty of fun pushing the demons around. the experience was short but enjoyable, bonus points for using Godot UWU

Garçon! by MercilessCult 2023-05-04T10:40:13Z

just how you managed to design all the 2d characters and the 3d areas in such a short time is beyond me, the gameplay is fun too, I like the attention to details with the watch in hand and the decorations, I had difficulties figuring out who I should deliver the mail to, it doesn't say where they live so I guess I should memories their rooms? which I didn't do a good job at, but all in all this is a pretty good entry!

Boxes Chaos by Darkwing00Duck 2023-05-16T15:29:02Z

the idea is nice but I was a bit bothered by how you get knocked out for so long sometimes the camera is never fixed and I have to reload the page to play, the grapple mechanic is really nice but I didn't get to use it a lot since I couldn't control the game for the most part, maybe I'm doing something wrong I don't know lol, hope you had fun working on this!

also I noticed that you have 0 karma, you should play other people's games so your game is shown to more people, even now you'll get more plays if you play other people's games

Silence is just a pipe dream by Antsa 2023-05-17T13:21:03Z

I have a bit of an unusual issue, the game crashes on launch for me for some reason, the terminal says "creating window 'ludum dare 53'" and then "window created successfully" then crashes, I'm using Windows 7 btw and it's not a anti-virus issue, not sure what causes this but it's a shame I can't try out this game

Cozy Courier Co. by JustinSix 2023-05-13T16:49:51Z

I really liked the game concept so I downloaded it to give it a shot, but it turned out I can't play with a random person online and I must to find someone to play, which is something I unfortunately couldn't do and I doubt most players will be able to do, maybe if we can join with a random person the chance of playing the game will increase but that's just a thought, as I said I really like the idea, we don't get games like these so often but sorry I couldn't really find someone to play with, no friends gang 4 ever

Cozy Courier Co. by JustinSix 2023-05-13T21:42:08Z

@justinsix thanks a lot for the offer, I appreciate it, though I'm a little busy in the short term I'll definitely join when I get the chance!

Cozy Courier Co. by JustinSix 2023-05-17T11:22:51Z

holly sh*t not only did you make a multiplayer game which is incredible on its own but you also added such a creative mechanic of both players merging into one body 5/5 innovation for sure! thank you for taking the time to play with me even though it's boring to play with someone with no mic lol, I really enjoyed the short but fun experience and salute you for the creative idea!

Dinolivery - The adventurer delivery service guild needs you ! by WegPast 2023-05-15T21:40:45Z

I'm not sure how you managed to have many mechanics in a jam game but this is really fun, the concept is really nice, the tutorial is amazing with all the animations and the dinosaur animation is pretty cool although the tiles were a bit too noisy and distracting. I didn't expect this game to feel challenging but it did! having to track heros around and give them the right item before they go inside is really strategic and engaging, then I'd snatch the item back from their hand when they get out and guard it safely until they decide to go where I want them to, why I'm I describing the game to the dev lol. anyway sometimes I found myself just sitting there doing nothing but wait, but luckily I had my guitar next to me and the music was in Amin so I could easily jam to it while I wait . nice work on this entry, I had a lot of fun.

Hot Dog Rescue by Roolow 2023-05-03T22:30:06Z

really fun game, I got my guitar and everytime I lose I try to freestyle to the music while the helicopter goes lol, took many so many darn tries and the best I can achieve was like 10cm close to the dog, almost had it, almost!

Deliver to Whence you Came by JUSTCAMH 2023-05-12T18:53:32Z

damn this was one of the most creative games I've seen even this late into the rating week! the moving tiles idea is so creative it made my jaw drop the first time I saw it, definitely gonna try to implement that on my own for the fun of it! the ending made me go WTF, I love the level design and overall mood, I wish there were more levels to this, would love to play a lot more of this game! everything works together pretty well, I enjoyed this a lot!

44.PNG

oh no, you are the package by gn Fur 2023-05-02T01:06:57Z

really well made game! I enjoyed the chaotic gameplay made even better by the chasing ghost, the island merging effect is amazing! how did you even do that with collision and all that? I truly love the effect! the gameplay is quite hard though, the darn ghost moves too fast for me lol, good job!

Waiting for delivery by JiexDrop 2023-05-17T19:43:33Z

this is simple and fun and I like it! I appreciate the change in gameplay that keeps the game from becoming dull, the guitar is a nice touch and the art style is decent! good work!

Birdmail by publicidadeba 2023-05-01T23:20:10Z

this is a fun game, the gameplay could use some more polish but it's pretty decent for a jam-game, I love the effort you took to add a back story to the game, a really good story too which is surprising since most people don't even have a backstory for their games, the art style is really beautiful and I wouldn't mind using something similar to the page background as a wallpaper to be honest lol, I think you did an overall good job with this game, well done everyone!

Salty Coins by Alexascher 2023-05-03T09:49:20Z

This was a decent jam experience, the graphics fits the idea pretty well and the mechanics are simple and fun, I suffered from the crew eating my ship many times lol but managed to make some progress

Sludge Speaker by RobotGandhi 2023-05-16T22:02:46Z

I love the concept of this game, the sounds are funny and the gameplay is simple but very engaging, good work! it's a shame you guys didn't play enough games to gain a good karma but I hope you had fun making this game

Bundle Dumper: Florida Edition by cheesepencil 2023-05-04T18:20:05Z

aww man a game made with pico8 that's awesome! I really love the art style and the mechanics of this game, as a pico8 user I can tell that the trajectory lines, crocodiles and drone paths are not that easy to make which is impressive, I had issues with the death screen where I accidentally pressed "Give up" at some point which really sucked but other than that I had plenty of fun!

Courrier de Souvenirs by MasterProject 2023-05-11T23:16:18Z

Haha out of all the games I played this gets the highest rating from me! everything about this is incredible! from the art style, open world design to side planets and characters and music, I LOVE THIS! as someone who really likes the story element of video games this kept me engaged for +30 minutes which is a lot of time for a jam-game! I enjoyed the diverse stories from the cute pigeon lady (couldn't find the warrior pigeon she talks about is it real?) to the sad story of the sculpture (is that the right word?) and the funky monkeys lol. I also love the attention to details like how a dog icon shows up when zooming and the many characters expression oh and how sometimes you have to press the text twice to read it, once to show half of it and another click to show the rest (don't think I didn't notice ). I get that some people may not like a story heavy game with not much action, but I absolutely love this! really nice work on putting this game together! everything just worked really well.

Superstar Surgeon: a Sensitive Subject by Fupi 2023-05-01T23:04:42Z

Dude I don't even know how I'm gonna find another jam game that gets going as much as this one did, this is a literal masterpiece, the music, gameplay, execution. everything is so well done, I played it the first time and the music immediately got me dancing, then I grabbed my guitar, played it again and jammed to it twice, I had such a fun time with this game (the lady didn't because I was too busy jamming to play the game). the story is also quite sad I hope it's not based of anything you may be dealing with, otherwise I'm sorry for whatever you may be going through and I wish both of you the best! I love this freaking game.

Return To Sender by Aurailus 2023-05-02T21:40:23Z

awesome game, this is probably the best tutorial I've seen so far, it helps you understand the game without being too long or too much in your face, the mechanics are simple but engaging, reminded me of Papers Please doing all the checks, the gameplay is engaging definitely kept me going for a while, congrats on the nice work!

Save the Mail! by MtWhateverest 2023-05-03T19:22:48Z

I like the 3d art style and the idea of this game, but I feel like the gameplay is not really skill based but more about trial and error which is hard to make interesting, still you did a great job designing the game!

Ice Break Delivery by SneakyFox 2023-05-04T19:05:00Z

Cute game you made, I think the gameplay is pretty easy to understand and leads to funny situations, the the style of the game mixed with the camera angle has a professional vibe to it, the restart after falling in water felt too punishing though, but I had fun experimenting with strategies around the army of penguins!

Fission Fight by Jahwffrey 2023-05-12T18:31:41Z

quite difficult to control especially when I have to throw the explody thing quickly to fight the badies, but I'll be lying if I say that I didn't get a good laugh out of this, easy 5/5 innovation! I'm so impressed of all the work that had gone into setting up the green screen and working together to get all the characters with their unique ideas lol, someone is having too much fun in this jam LEAVE SOME FOR THE REST OF US NEXT TIME!!!! the voice acting adds a lot to the overall charm as well, this was very creative, nice work!

Spooky journey by SkelleRoznik 2023-05-02T00:07:08Z

A bit of criticism here, I think the gameplay mechanics are not as engaging as they could be, I found myself often standing in one spot and hitting the attack key, I wish they were more enemy types or more varied gameplay, maybe something that takes advantage of the wide horizontal space and the platforming some more. I think the art still is really well done, especially how the foreground elements easy to distinguish and the beautiful style, I could be wrong but I feel like you spent more time on art then on gameplay, at the end of the day no jam game is perfect and I did enjoy the story and how the king doesn't threaten to cut your head when you're rude with him because he has no choice lol, good work

Overtime at the Tetromino Factory by Tim Sims 2023-05-02T14:48:33Z

A bit hard to understand at first, I thought I should fill the grid near the spawners lol, but I think it's a good tetris like idea, the art style is also pretty clear, I had fun playing for a while!

Very Good Happy Joy Play 3000 by poboy 2023-05-04T15:47:31Z

this is the jam equivalent of shit-posting, and I can't say I didn't enjoy it  the jetpack one was my favorite, not only for the sick rap (I have rap in my game too lol) but also for the controls, you should've worked on that one some more as a main game, hope you had fun making this!

Rapid Pizza Delivery by LaserPanzerWal 2023-05-18T22:58:32Z

really nice and simple game! I like the 3d buildings and the attention to details with the wheel marks on the ground, did you use a fancy pantsy simulation for the car where you simulate the front and back separately and all that? the car physics feel quite solid! the game was a bit laggy and took a while to load, not sure why but maybe if you do some more debugging there could be that one stupid thing that you least expect causing lag lol. I enjoyed the game, nice work!

A Wolf's Riposte by Wolfier 2023-05-05T17:43:32Z

The gamplay mechanics are incredibly satisfying, I just ignored the task and kept picking fights with knight lol, it's so much fun dodging death by one tile then smashing them one by one, the enemy moves variations also keeps the game from getting repetitive, the art style and music fit the mood really well, but the best part for me was the combat, it's just so good!

PigCulture by sami822 2023-05-04T17:16:13Z

I never thought I'd finish this game giving how long it took, but the music and the mood of the game really kept me going, had an issue with a candy getting stuck on the ground but I was thankfully able to buy a bomb by selling more rocks instead, really nice game, and the music is just so darn moody it made me feel really relaxed, I love the ocean dude. beautiful entry!

by the way there way a violin instrument in the music I believe but it sounded natural, did you play violin or used some plugin? if so what plugin did you use if you don't mind, I really like it!

Popostee by LouieJams 2023-05-02T17:24:49Z

I like how calm this game feels, even though there is a timer it's not really a problem, the art style is 5/5 for me I really like it, and the physics are pretty decent, I feel like the poping mechanic where same creatures near each other get poped is harder than it looks to implement lol, I wish there was more to the game in terms of things to do but I think you did an awesome work

Dimensional Delivery by DarkWolf 2023-05-11T21:53:58Z

Simple and fun! all I'd ask for in a game jam, the whole consept of hoping from one world to another reminds me of siri from the Witcher games lol. there isn't much to say about the game to be honest, I mean I wish there were more levels, maybe some music or sfx, but other than that it was a nice little experience, and that's nothing but nice! so nice work!!

Hemoglobin by rrsmtz 2023-05-01T23:35:36Z

nice little game you guys made, i like the innovation of coming up with this game idea and how you took the time to implement a random mode. I think the gameplay could use some more work, rooms feel a bit short and some enemies are way too brutal for my sleep deprived self to beet lol, but I had fun experimenting with upgrades and strategies, all in all it's a decent game

Power Ball Delivery by MalcolmDjgr 2023-05-13T22:45:40Z

so the game started and I was there just looking at the screen waiting for something to happen, then I realized the game is on and it's actually a 3d game! that's so cool, the art style is really really nice! the gameplay tough.. oof I suffered so much, the best I can do is ONE BALL, in 4 attempts my highest score was 1 freaking ball, I tried to get far, to get too close, to bounce it off a wall, to do a 360 for good luck.. and nothing worked, I bet you can do it with your eyes closed developer, since you had to test the level many times, but simpletons like me? nope, I laughed at the fact that I have to chase the ball around and pick it up as if me missing a hundred time isn't enough suffering lol, don't mistake my rambling for being salty, I actually had fun experimenting with angles and ideas, I don't know if there is more to the game one you get a few balls in, but I couldn't for the life of me get more than 1 ball in. oh and that slappy bass just slapping me left and right, I would've rage quited a long time ago if not for the music honestly, I really like the music! overall I think this is a nice game, great work! oh my when did I write so much text!!!

Cold Pizza by Cole Hutson 2023-05-01T22:31:43Z

man what a game to start my rating week with! this game is so well designed that it took me nearly 15 minutes to complete, especially the 3 last levels, really well put together it's like you predicted how I would approach the problem and designed it so that my last idea is the correct one lol, maybe you should've used some classic music like Getting Over It did, that way I would die from the inside and outside XD, great work!

Tower Def-Ants by Glaas 2023-05-14T22:51:08Z

A simulation? hell yeah! sign me in baby!! I literally spent 15 minutes straight playing this game the gameplay is so much fun and the strategy and decision making prevents the game from getting boring or repetitive, I really love the design of this game, how the ants navigate around following each other's trail, and how the guards detect enemies from far and go for the kill, it all works really nicely! I would really love to see all the source code behind it, it's a shame this isn't open source . congrats on making such a fun and addictive game, I enjoyed this a lot

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-02T19:16:53Z

@skelleroznik Haha thank you so much for the kind words, I was inspired by the design of the half life games and how they keep the experience fresh by introducing new mechanics throughout the game, I tried to keep the hardest part of a level at the start so that the more you progress the less likely it is to lose but I didn't do a great job at that honestly lol, I'm glad you got to experience the cringe, thanks a lot!

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-03T17:03:50Z

@fupi thank you so much for the kind words, I'm glad you got to enjoy my wack of a game lol, for the bouncers I tried to make their trajectory consistent by setting the popcorn velocity to 0 when you hit them so that your velocity doesn't determine the trajectory, it lead to much more consistent bouncers and therefor easier level design, but as you said there still is a bit of uncertainty because the bouncer area is wide so you can bounce at different positions, I'm sorry you died at the end lol, I'm working on a post jam update to make the game more fair based on all the feedback I got.. trust me it's for the best that you didn't hear the rap XD

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-03T17:07:48Z

@aurailus thank you thank you! I had so much fun watching you suffe.. I mean play my game on stream, and you nailed it! the parallax issue is quite problematic I'm working on an update about it! you have mine and the popcorn's thanks

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-03T22:12:15Z

@bodhiagora thanks I'll never forget that experience

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-04T18:58:46Z

@lizz thank you so much for the detailed feedback, finally someone who appreciates the soft wall fall lol, I believe the game reminds you of angry bird? I've heard that from other players, I hope it wasn't too frustrating, I tried to make the game challenging as usual but lowered the difficulty a little bit after some feedback, I can't wait to hear what Wouter have to say about it , hope you have fun playing other games, there are some really nice entries this time!

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-04T19:31:16Z

@kujoen what in the actual F*ck dude? this is the most impressive thing I've ever seen in a game jam, I'm not even kidding, you play this far better than I do, which is mind blowing when you consider than I played this nearly a hundred times while testing, the skips at 0:39, 1:33 1:40 2:24 2:31 are totally new to me YOU KNOW MY LEVELS BETTER THAN I DO, 2:24 and 2:51 and the pro path literally made me laugh out loud, I'm so Impressed by your skills! I watched a streamer rage quite at level 3 and you did it before I can say "What the hell!", then I visited your channel and realized that you're also a counter strike surfer OF COURSE YOU ARE!!! you're so good at this man, geniounly made me and my brother grasp when you did those skips and all the subtle details like 2:53, oof I can never beat that I'm telling you. thank you for even bothering with any of this, I appreciate the time you took to do this, and the cringe you had to go through at the end  I'm gonna add a statue to the game in your honor in the next update, what do you want the statue to be my friend ?

hail to the king of popcorn

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-05T22:04:50Z

@wouter52 there he is! thank you so much for starting with my game, it means a lot, I really appreciate your feedback! I'm aware of some points like the cursor and level design as other people have mentioned as well, while things like a level select didn't even cross my mind for some reason , I'm glad you had fun with my little game and feel sorry that you didn't get to finish I think I had enough of making difficult games for LD, next time will be more relaxing I promise lol, I like to make a new intro for every LD and each time it gets funnier, I wonder what I'll do for the next jam. I hope you're having fun with games from this jam I'm certainly finding some unique entries here and there, thanks again for the detailed feedback!

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-06T10:09:08Z

@polite-prinny Haha that's one hell of a flex, I couldn't even beat kujoen yesterday in an attempt to understand his run and now you're telling me it can be faster??? I'm truly amazed by this, you even had the speedrun timer thingy , gosh I can only imagine the time you spent with this games finding exploits and having to play all over to reach the level again, I'm gonna add shortcut keys next update to jump between levels for you absolutely crazy people, I see that you used some new technics and skips, at 2:05 I stopped the video and sat there is shock thinking what the heck are you going to do? I couldn't figure out how you'd pull that off, then I started the video and you very casually brook the right wall and I was like "motherf*cker!" I NEVER THOUGHT THAT WAS POSSIBLE!!!. the skips at level 9 are always my favorite it's like the level was built to be epically skipped and I love it!

As our traditions go, I shall built a statue in your honor, of course I'll keep kujeon's status as admiration for his great efforts but I can totally do another one, what do you wish for as a status?

I'm glad you had fun with your team! I hope it wasn't too rage inducing lol, and yes there was an update that slightly changed the tiles placement after watching many people unfairly die in some places especially near the end, I won't be touching any tiles now I promise . you crazy crazy people!

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-06T18:20:33Z

@polite-prinny @kujoen I can't even keep up with all the record breaks, you 2 are killing me (in a good way ) 3kbegu1.png

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-07T17:52:40Z

@kujoen @polite-prinny, I've added a funny little scene in the game for you! you can also switch between levels more easily with ctrl + level number.

(don't tell anyone )

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-08T16:26:30Z

@kujoen oof right when I think it can't get any better! you're THE dope my friend, is it even possible to get sub 2 minutes at this point?

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-10-08T16:05:42Z

@geckoo1337 thank you, makes me feel like I made a game  I appreciate it.

I couldn't finish my entry in time for LD54 and decided to quit after overscoping, don't worry I'll be back as hell next time!! I appreciate your kind words my friend.

GONETS. Supply delivery TD by DaniilLenin 2023-05-02T16:45:53Z

I like the idea of not having to fight but instead relly on turrets, it adds a strategy element to the game, the enemies are quite sneaky though lol, I think there is a bug where if you hit a rock or border and the dron rotates movement completely breaks but other than that I had fun navigating my way into turrets

Monster Mail by CodeRaurus 2023-05-09T23:27:02Z

honestly the art style is my favorite part of this game, I've downloaded the open source project to study the art because it's just so good, my first reaction when I got to this page is amusement at the banner art and how you were able to convey form with only 2 colors, definitely gonna try to create something similar as a challenge! as for the game I think the gameplay is fairly simple, it's an interesting concept but it does get a little repetitive after a while.. bonus points for using Godot BECAUSE I LOVE GODOT BABY!!! wish there was some more music to it but damn man that art is just good! great work on this entry and even greater on that A A A A ART!

BURNOUT by Wouter52 2023-05-02T15:52:20Z

This game is absolute chaos and I love it, you just never stop running lol, it was a bit difficult to understand at first, but man babies just go brrrrrrr, I end up mixing up babies too many time unfortunately I'm not sure how you can finish the game without making any mistake but I tried my best, I also love how the rooms work it's a really nice design, well done! I think you did a neat job for this one, oh and that report in the end was sad I never knew it was that bad.

Where to Deliver? by IndivisibleParticles 2023-05-11T10:53:16Z

Haha that was intense! 5/5 mood for sure

Capture1.PNG

I thought my neardy-butt would do pretty good at this but I could only get so far, it's crazy how a simple idea like that can be so much fun! the art style is also nice! I wish there was a reward mechanic to this where you get a life back when you get a combo or remove one of the options etc.. but I think this is so much fun! the art style is also worthy of praise, awesome work!

Smuggle by Scribbl_Games 2023-05-16T22:16:14Z

this was a fun entry, I was confused at first about what I should do, I kept getting shot no matter what, then I realized that you have to wait until they lose you to move past them again, the idea is simple but interesting, I feel like the black and white colors add to the depressing vibe of the game, good work! also try to rate other games next time so your game is recommended more to people

Cassie The Carrier Pidgeon by haselkern 2023-05-04T20:29:35Z

oof geniounly one of the best games I've played so far, the core loop is so addictive and the screenshake/particles/sfx enforce the feedback so darn well, I really love this entry, did you make the music yourself? It's so impressive, congrats in making such a good game in a short time!

That time I got to help my father in his new garage by Seraphyi 2023-05-11T10:43:53Z

This is a nice entry! the pixel art with 2 different perspectives in really nice, and the idea is pretty innovative, I wish the objectives would appear somewhere in the screen so you can search for the items without having to read a lot of text everytime, but maybe that's just me..

Feathered Envoys by chromaticGray 2023-05-12T11:49:57Z

This game has surprisingly more to it than it might seem, the various texts never feel repetitive, and the gameplay loop is engaging, I had an issue at the start where I had one pigeon and nearly no seeds so I spent a few rounds not being able to do anything, but once I understood how it all works I had fun strategizing around and following my gambling addiction (didn't lose a single time baby!!). really nice work with this game, I had a lot of fun!

packet.Breach() by Celtican 2023-05-18T23:32:35Z

Honestly one of the best games I've played in this jam even though this is the last day of voting! how did I not discover this earlier?? the mechanics are really well made and the gameplay is so fun and addictive that I found myself repeating a level again and again until I beat it despite me usually quitting after a few loses lol, I have no idea how you managed to find the time for so many mechanics and visual effects, I bet this is a rare case of teammates working efficiently and not getting in each other's way! the story telling aspect is also fun and really well thought out, all in all I enjoyed this a lot and I wish to see this amongst the top games this jam!

oh also the feather powerup if so freaking OP they stand no chance! ccc.PNG

The Envelope by DzejPi 2023-05-03T10:04:43Z

impressive entry for a compo game, I love horror games and this felt like one of those indie horrors from itchio, the atmosphere is so creepy I was thinking about how the game looked eery then the character said that lol, the game bugged at some point and I couldn't put down mails while having a weapon, but I had fun running away from the creature who is somehow faster then my extremely fast speed XD, great work seriously!

TIFY Boxes by mmisspelling 2023-05-15T22:01:13Z

This has to be one of the most unique games I've played this LD, the art style is simple but shown a good understanding of perspective and depth which I appreciate. the music and just as simple yet very effective and conveying the overall mood. I really like how the game actually made me feel curious on how this all will play out and gave me a geniun want to solve the mystery, once I got the film I had an "Aha" moment where I realized that I have the nail polish and the film so they're trying to give me objects from the crime and blame it on me, yet in the end I shot the president lol, what can I say.. the power of conspiracy indeed.. all in all I really had a lot of fun, and enjoyed this game so nice work!

there are mainly 2 things that I didn't like and wish were done differently, the first is that the game doesn't really tell you where to go after you pick an item except for the nail polish I found myself going room to room moving the mouse around until I found where to click which sometimes would take a while like when I searched every corner just to realize I had to click the TV etc.. the other is more of a personal preference but I wish there was some simple path finding so when I click somewhere the character would go there without my guidance, for example if you stand in one side of the bed and want to go to the other you have to click 3 times to move the character around and can't just click once and have the character find its path there if you know what I'm saying, but that didn't bother me much really and as I said I enjoyed the experience a lot, great job!!

Time on Delivery by nastya nenapisannoe 2023-05-14T22:22:15Z

I feel like that last level was just a flex from the devs showing up all your systems lol and I love it! I sat there amazed at how the traffic feels fluid, and how the bus never hits a car, that is impressive! anyway the game is simple and fun, I enjoyed playing but I feel like you didn't take full advantage of the level design as most levels are very easy, and the final level is almost a straight line to the blue building, some music would've been nice but you can only do so much in a game jam I guess.. nice work!

Logistical Nightmare by Roboolet 2023-05-16T17:34:10Z

This game is simple but fun, I thought it would get boring quickly but it didn't! the challenge of remembering what boxes I sent and what I need to send kept me going for a while, I noticed some text when the truck reaches the end of the path but couldn't read it, tried my best to glitch into the other side but couldn't I even build a tower of boxes and climbed above the truck but all I got is the text "Trans right", I expected something cool or even a jumpscare , stacking boxes reminded me of the old day with half life 2 lol, anyway the game is simple but I had fun!

Mailville by the neon shark 2023-05-05T13:26:55Z

The game is easy to understand and entertaining! the music is a banger mah dude! and the art style is pretty nice too, I like how you used similar color for objectives this was I understood that I need to send mail to boxes and to the ground before I even read the objective, my only bit of criticism for this game is that it's too simple, there isn't really something pushing you to play better at least for me, it was fun exploring controls and figuring out how things work, but once I understood everything it felt like a chore to finish the game, but I had my fair share of fun, nice work!

Delivery Champ by Brandon Campbell 2023-05-03T16:19:22Z

lol what did I just play???? I like the idea of this game and how they get up so casually and leave XD, very simple but funny and innovative, it could use some more mechanics, but I think it's pretty decent as it is for a jam-game, nice work!

I Am The Real Dahlia Verry by shreemp 2023-05-03T16:13:45Z

"damn this game is taking too long to load.."

"oh man it must be quite a heavy game.."

"man it's been 5 minutes already.."

*pressed mouse button* -> screen fades

"oh my god I'm such an idiot!"

lol, I wish this has more to it, it has a good potential

STARTUK 🚕💫 by froissant 2023-05-02T16:12:43Z

Great innovation with this game, I like the idea and the broken controls Haha, the car sounds is a bit loud though, oh and I don't know what the heck those people were doing on the roofs but I managed to hit all of them lol

Purrfect Delivery by Mashiro 2023-05-03T19:54:40Z

woah 12 people worked on this game!!!!!! how did you do that without getting in each other way? I thought it get's really difficult to sync work with +3 people in a team but damn, about the game I really love the art style and the attention to details everywhere, the OS idea was really cool and the game is also enjoyable although a bit confusing when trying to turn with the mouse, but I like it! well done

Frogivio by milq 2023-05-04T18:44:58Z

very simple and to the point, I like that! the mechanics are really easy to understand, at first I was like "hmm.. how is he gonna design puzzle mechanics around pushing ice?" but then I saw the trees and flip signs and it all fits together really well, and you did all that in a compo! damn. I wish there were more levels to this but you can only do so much in compo!

Per My Last Bullet, by HexyVexy 2023-05-09T21:44:38Z

this was a fun experience! I really love the charming art style and music, that intro is worth a high humor score on its own lol, and don't you think I didn't notice that attention to detail where the game exe has the logo of the game, I know that Godot doesn't do that on its own. I had a lot of fun blasting the poor things into dust like a maniac especially in that level where you get attacked by so many knife wielding crazies "good grief" indeed! unfortunately I fell of the world at some point and kept falling forever, which was partially my fault because I was pressing move key randomly to checkout the animations but I wish there were tiles blocking me from falling. but other than that I think this game is really well made and don't you worry I never skip any dialogue in a video game ever! bonus points for using Godot! awesome work

Per My Last Bullet, by HexyVexy 2023-05-09T21:56:47Z

@teddyreid yes, don't worry it's not that big of a deal, I picked the game again since I wasn't that far off, but you know the "good grief part"? it's somewhere after that I think, once you enter a room where you have to go right, the room is dark and if you go left instead you fall off the floor, that's what I can remember.. it's after you use the crowbar and play for a minute or two. sorry not very helpful but I can try to play again and hunt for it..

Per My Last Bullet, by HexyVexy 2023-05-09T22:14:07Z

@teddyreid lol that text is fitting, I'm glad I could help! and I hope this little bug doesn't discourage you your game is great, I mean it!

Wrong address by Allax 2023-05-02T17:52:07Z

This is the most fun game I've played so far, the mechanics are well designed and the gameplay is so darn juicy every kill feels rewarding, I feel like a lot of games here put much time on design and art but not as much on gameplay mechanics but this game seemingly favors a good gameplay over other things which I think is great, really nice work with this entry!

Cow Delivery by RenardGames 2023-05-04T16:43:46Z

A short but enjoyable experience, I had a lot of fun, the double stones puzzle was nice as well, I wish this has more levels, but hey, I made sure the cow eater got his cows and that's all that matters

Giggle Groove by badcop 2023-05-04T10:21:40Z

Haha the awkwardness of this game is that awesome, I love the idea, and the dad jokes. I wish there was a way to tell that the joke is about to start, it felt hard predicting that, but I had fun

Sick Day Delivery by Pyspher9 2023-05-13T21:54:09Z

The music alone is worth a high rating! I just kept dancing in my seat the whole time lol, the gameplay is simple but fun! I'm glad the timer goes up and not down, the art style is also really nice and the whole concept is creative! it's interesting that a simple game like this is much more fun than a lot of jam games I've played, but damn that music, I'm keeping the game on while I rate just for the music and it just hit the chorus part where everything goes crazy! holy cow you nailed the music!!!!!!!!!!

Diseased Dirigible by Falk Hoeppner 2023-05-03T18:45:23Z

"wait are we the badies?" lol, I love this game, it seems complex at first but the mechanics are pretty manageable, the idea is creative and the art style helps the mood a lot, congrats to everyone that worked on this, voice actors included! you did a great job

Crash Courier by Ategon 2023-05-03T21:21:26Z

I made it to 10# leaderboard baby!!! this is such a good game, the mechanics are really satisfying and the music/art work really well to give it a mood, I've played a bunch of games today and this is probably the best one by far, really good stuff, my only problem is that the dash isn't reliable, it's like I can't tell where I'm gonna end up which creates an uncertainty that prevents me from using it, other than that this game ROCKS!

The Night Witches by Kultuk 2023-05-03T18:27:58Z

that last level was brutal, the music is also really damn good it helped set the mood, my god it's like you calculated my every move and made sure I got rekt every time lol, well done guys!

Mech Express by No whOne 2023-05-03T15:44:39Z

this is much more fun than it looks, the consept is simple yet very engaging it kept more going for quite sometime, the sound and music work really well and the gameplay loop is surprisingly good, well done!

Bullet Worm by resacaGames 2023-05-03T16:09:27Z

it's so satisfying to collect many packages then sell them all at once lol, nice game you got! reminds me of the whole .io formula, the art style and music are really nice maybe multiplayer would make this more interesting, but I had fun and I had my fair share of jump scares dashing into a black square out of nowhere lol, good job on this one!

Game 1 by I wrote it myself 2023-05-03T15:24:17Z

Aww this is such a cute game, I adore the art style and funny idea, my only issue was with the gameplay, it was a bit hard to understand what I'm doing exactly but when I did it didn't really feel challenging, I wish there were more mechanics to this game, but I think it's fine as it is and the art style is one of the best I've seen so far, congrats!

nice work for a compo entry! the art style is nice I like the animation of coming back to life lol, the controls are simple to understand and easy, tough I wish there was more to this game, because it gets repetitive after sometime, but there's only so much you can do in a compo jam, nice work!

Dungeon Pizza Delivery by Kujoen 2023-05-04T17:37:30Z

I love this game, I can see the "binding of isaac" inspiration with the levels and minimap, I believe the level is hand designed but I think it's well made, although having to worry about your health and the pizza health adds a new layer of strategy that I wasn't ready for lol, always putting the pizza at the worst possible place. well done, I had fun

Dungeon Pizza Delivery by Kujoen 2023-05-05T17:04:02Z

@kujoen I've added a statue in my game in your honor for speed running the hell out of my game!

VR Cross the border by David_Kim 2023-05-03T15:07:19Z

this looks pretty sick I wish I had VR, unfortunately I don't think many people can experience this game because it requires specific headset, but I salute you for the effort!

Parasitus by Koyaaaa 2023-05-02T15:32:25Z

this is so moody I love it, there always that one horror game in every jam lol, the gameplay is simple but just enough to keep you on edge, maybe it needs some jumpscares , nicely done!

Deliver Or Die by CantThinkOfAName 2023-05-03T19:17:48Z

I love this game! it's really difficult but in a fair way, when I die I know it's because of myself and not bad design, you really did a good job designing enemies and obstacles, the music is also pretty nice, I think it would've helped to have 3 colors instead of 2. 1 for background 1 for enemies and 1 for packages and people, but otherwise the game is really enjoyable I had a lot of fun! 222.PNG

Deliver or Die by Pedryx 2023-05-12T11:30:18Z

really fun game with simple concept but addictive game loop! my first reaction when I saw the game was pure nostalgia, it reminded me of my first ever game made with Unity back in 2019 where I used the same sprites with a very similar game idea lol. I got the same prompt as a previous comment mentioned where I was asked to download .net runtime, now I don't really use any .net language or framework so I never really needed that, but I downloaded it to play your game anyway, and I had plenty of fun! as I said the game is simple but keeps you engaged, the upgrades and how different zombies have different health adds a strategy element that keeps the game from becoming repetitive which is nice, good job on this!

Deep Delivery by Savidiy 2023-05-15T22:18:49Z

I like the mechanics and design of this game, and how it shows you all things you can interact with at the very start by placing them in your path (don't think I didn't notice ), the game is a bit difficult but it makes up for it with checkpoints something I should've had in my challenging game . I wish the enemy fish had a drawn path or a way to tell where they're going so it doesn't feel unfair, but other than that I think the game is really nice, good job!

Last Stand Delivery by Sheng Mai 2023-05-09T22:37:27Z

interesting concept with a unique execution! I really like the graphics and puzzle element of the game, the story is also funny and you don't get many games with a backstory in game jams let alone a funny story throughout the game, I had fun experimenting with strategies and had my fare share of "Aha!" moments.

there are some things that can use improving though so here is my other feedback about things I wish were done differently: first the LD page is really detailed, and I appreciate the time put into it, but it felt like a wall of text to go through, I kinda just wanted to start the game and get into the fun but the guide was a little long, could be just me. same thing goes for the dialogue at the start, I know you wanted to establish the backstory but it felt a little too long and I couldn't read all of it at some point, but again maybe that's just my eagerness to play the game :)

all in all this was a really nice twist on the theme especially when you consider how most games are repetitive ideas of pizza delivery lol, and the levels were well designed! so nice work on this game!

Pizza Pete's Peculiar Predicament by Space_Games 2023-05-04T18:08:16Z

very funky game I like it, it took me sometime to understand the mechanics but it was enjoyable planing my path just to realize I forget one darn door and doing it all again lol, I also like how you made a fun game out of a simple idea with simple mechanics that's what game jams are all about, good job!

some criticism: - it's hard to read the signs in the first level because of the timer, I know that the time pressure is low on first level but I feel like people will see the timer and just go for the door - the time gap between finishing one level and playing the next is ready big, it's about 10 seconds of waiting for the 2 transitions and the start timer, I wish it was faster, for example you may want to remove the timer or make it go faster.

other than that I think the game is good!

The Stork Purrsuit by FrancoisGoret 2023-05-01T23:50:45Z

I think this game has a really good puzzle potential but I had an issue understanding the mechanics at the start, maybe it's just me being a dumdum but the game doesn't really teach you how to use the tiles properly in level 1 by not really challenging your understand, then you get to level 2 and it's suddenly a lot more difficult, I did beat the game but it took sometime to realize how it all works, don't get me wrong, it's a cute looking puzzle game and the animals sight mechanic adds a strategy element to it that I enjoyed the story is also worth mentioning, you don't always get to see a jam game where the devs make a backstory, but the gameplay was a bit rough for me.

Delivery! NYC by Obe Dot 2023-05-03T23:12:20Z

First of all WTF??? second of all I actually had fun with this, role playing as spider man and smoothly going from one place to another while getting my ears absolutely rekt by the music, it's not something you get to experience everyday, no seriously that wasn't a bad experience at all! on a second not I see that you're the number one person when it comes to playing other people's game, I don't know how you manage to find the time or the energy to play so many darn games but I salute you for that, as someone who tried to get to the top of the Feedback filter every jam it's trully impressive! (shameless plug: you can try mine if you do not-not-want to)

SendNood.exe by Azzriell 2023-05-03T15:32:24Z

Haha I love the idea, although you missed the opportunity to do the windows exit sound when I press "quit" the whole concept is so funny and the gameplay isn't bad at all! this is hella creative lol

Bloodiest Mary by nullmike 2023-05-15T19:03:41Z

That was so moody I love it! i must admit I was a bit irritated at first after I realized this is a text heavy game, but it was different than other games that put walls of text in your face, this one felt more smooth, it's like.. the game pushes you into playing more without getting in your face, I struggled with first night as I was still trying to figure out how the game works, but after I understood it felt so rewarding getting the right type of blood to the right vampire, I love how I got those AHA! moments and went straight to the drink I thought was fitting just to realize it is actually the right thing!! I really appreciate the attention to details like the variety of dialogues based on your choice and the text after each night telling you how you did today, it's really nice and gives the game a sense of being alive as if the world goes on after you're done playing if I'm making sense here, to be fair I enjoy the story element of video games so this hooked me really well, I wish there was more to it but I really enjoyed the experience, nice work!

The Grinchmas by Rainmaker02 2023-05-12T16:56:55Z

nice and simple game! though I wish this has more to it, maybe more mechanics or level based progress etc.. the aim was hard to master but it clicks at some point, hope you had fun making this!

SatisfAction - The Ultimate Marble Machine by MarkAis 2023-05-04T17:58:29Z

This is one of the most fun games I've played so far, once I understood the mechanics I just got into a flow state, it's so much fun to watch the physics do it's thing too, I think the towers are a nice and satisfying addition too, I'm surprised I didn't notice this game before, the polish is really darn good! awesome work

pretty decent entry, I really like jam games that have simple and easy to understand mechanics, no wall of text of confusing controls, nicely done! I had fun

oops no link, do you need help setting up the itch page?

Ghostal Service by Graphman31 2023-05-16T20:32:01Z

Very simple yet fun and visually appealing! I enjoyed this game even though the spawning felt too random and chaotic at times, the art style is really nice I like the foreground layer idea as well. I wish this had more mechanics to it, but I think it's great as it is, nice job!

deliver me from X by konfekt 2023-05-04T18:34:33Z

that's an easy 5/5 innovation from me, I love the story telling aspect of video games so when I realized that this was a story focused game I was hooked, I'm still not sure exactly what I witnessed but it was a wild ride lol and the art style was pretty fitting! though I wish there was more to it from a gameplay perspective, I'm not sure how much my choices affected the game but it seems that's the only sense of control I had, other than that this is a great game and I love the uniqueness of it in a jam full of driving and pizza games!

IGNN International Galactic News Network - Deliver The News by Adam Jenness 2023-05-04T20:43:35Z

innovation is an easy 5/5 for me, the idea is really creative and I like that you took the risk and went with such unusual idea! the gameplay is fun but it gets exhausting after a while because I have to do so much reading and process much information just to drop it all in the next level it's like my brain Rams keep getting full then empry then full again lol which made me tired quickly, but I do love the idea and I certainly had fun trying to figure out the right option, awesome work for your first game, hell, awesome work period!

What's The Deal With...? by Robertthebastian 2023-05-14T22:34:31Z

lol curiousity got the better of me and I tried to go back to the start room just to see if the room comes back into place, it did but not fast enough to prevent me from falling out of the world. the idea of this game is really interesting but I found the cards a bit confusing to understand especially at first, I wish there was some king of tutorial or simple guide to get you started, needless to say I suck at this game lol and the funky movement is all that kept me engaged, note to self: I'll never be a comedian

Willow & Audrey's Floral Delivery Service by Sarah Pederson 2023-05-16T21:44:26Z

I like the music and cute idea, a lot of jam games end up about killing other people or fighting etc.. and it's nice to see a change of pace every now and then, the font was really tiny though so I could hardly read anything which made the game difficult to understand at first, but the mechanics were simple enough that it didn't take too long to get used to it, congrats on your first game! this was fun

Hemophilia by Roomy 2023-05-11T22:11:25Z

interesting concept and execution, the art style is nice and the text is a nice addition (I'd know since I have a similar idea in my game lol). I got stuck at level 4 or 5, the one with 2 shooters and one big rotating shooter thingy, couldn't get past it after many attempts, it's just too difficult for me which is a shame.. other than that the gameplay is nice although the control are a bit painful sometimes . nice work!

Valhalla Calling by Aviv Levy 2023-05-05T11:51:29Z

To Valhalla! I had fun playing this game, the art style and music are really well done and the gameplay kept me engaged, everytime I beat a wave I'd shout "to valhalla" lol, the shield mechanic was nice as well although I struggled to figure out the attack range of the enemies especially when you're trying to run past them to the other side, but all in all this is a great entry, awesome work!

Winds of change by Flavian 2023-05-02T23:27:02Z

This game was very challenging for me, I feel like the tutorial tells you the controls but doesn't tell you how to use them, I'm not sure what rotating the leaf does for example, I found it a good strategy to always keep trees to your left this way if you're falling into a horizontal branch you can go right, which helps since you can't really go left (or maybe I didn't understand the game), I think the idea is nice and the art style is good too (I swear I heard that music somewhere before lol), but the gameplay could use a little work

Delifery by Gog 2023-05-01T22:41:26Z

you know what, this isn't half bad for your first game, I liked the enemy variation and how you can't shoot in a direction unless you're walking towards it which adds a level of difficulty especially with the ranged enemies, there is room for improvement especially with the art style, but there is a gameloop in there and it works! nice work, for your first game you should give yourself a pat on the back, welcome to the beautiful and frustrating world of game jams!

Deadmail by vaps1k 2023-05-03T18:16:41Z

As others said the graphics for this game is really well made, I think the music and sfx are good too, the idea is pretty innovative and the gameplay is fun but feels a bit too simple, I wish there were more mechanics to it and the enemies don't jump scare me out of the screen lol, but I had fun going from one place to another, nice work!

Slices of the Cosmos by primes 2023-05-02T23:17:57Z

I enjoyed playing this game even though it felt quite slow at first, there seems to be a bug where you can go out of screen and just be safe forever lol but you have my gamer promise I didn't use that, I think the game could use some more mechanics maybe different types of obstacles and some better pacing, but It's very much playable in my case, congrats for the game, bonus points if this is your first jam!

Crazy Chimichanga: The Pixelated Adventure by pezdqk 2023-05-15T22:11:23Z

art and music are nice! HTML version didn't work so I played the windows version, the game is simple but cool I wish there were more mechanics to it, but one can only do so much in a jam, hope you had fun making this game!

aaand that's 20 votes baby!

Box It Up by Ollyfields 2023-05-16T10:22:16Z

I had a lot of fun with this game, the mechanics are simple, easy to understand and fun! which is all that I ask for in a Jam game, I like the posters idea to explain the game without getting in your face and the truck animation was an awesome attention to detail that I really enjoyed, I discovered a bug where if you hold an item and then aim at the belt you start moving with the item which I think is hilarious, overall this is a really nice game and I'm glad to be your 20th vote!

The Last Battery by Steve95 2023-05-02T23:08:38Z

unfortunately this looks like a linux executable which I can't really run since I'm on windows, I wish there was a windows build since the majority of people here use windows, I want to give this game a chance so I'll come back in a day or two and see if I can build it from source on windows.

Dear Yekate by ohfacts 2023-05-04T10:10:38Z

This is a nice little game, it could use some more mechanics, maybe a bigger map? but for a game jam I think it's decent enough, I hope you had fun making it because in the end that's all that matters, nice work!

Hive by blank_3D 2023-05-05T14:04:37Z

2222.PNG

I'm the kind of bees!! I love this game it kept me engaged he entire time, the level design is pretty good too, I had difficulties navigating at first and the camera made me a bit dizzy (might wanna change that) but other than that I had so much fun! I was the collector at first, then I just sat in the hive building while other bees did the work lol, I see people conplaining about lag, but it worked fine for me with about 30Fps with my ancient gt 1030

StarDust by Geckoo1337 2023-10-04T11:37:21Z

I played Scanner Sombre a while ago and enjoyed it a lot, I definitely appreciate replaying that experience, it's so weird how you scan a path and it's all a flat wall of dots and then you move a little and your brain starts slowly filling the gaps, something about that is so fascinating to me and I love it! the level design was nice, It felt good nailing those parkour steps, overall I enjoyed this a lot, really love the concept! did you implement the wall paint mechanics or is there some open source library for that? because if so I'd love to check it out!

creative stuff as always, keep 'em coming!

The Rock by Fupi 2023-10-04T11:19:24Z

Haha that was amazing! you know for jam games made in 3 days, I'd generally expect good gameplay, maybe good art, good music, good level design, all things that can be made with some sacrifices to other elements of the game. but good freaking story with some sick writing???? as someone who really loves the story telling element of video games you nailed this! I enjoyed every conversation and every character, no conversation felt rushed or like a filler just there to make the game longer. from the 4th wall breaking witch to the crocodiles have no soul lol, you're really good at story telling Fupi, and for a jam games that's saying a lot! so many creative ideas too, the rock theories made me chuckle and that witch tought me not to make assumption and THE MUSIC! I honestly expected no less from you but still got surprised by the quality of that melody, and how the instruments kinda have a conversation, I know it's not an easy thing to do, to make such dynamic melody between a couple of instruments. I heard that bass in the menu and I was like "yep that's Fupi with his bass again". needless to say I fell for it.. I knew that the rock meant something to the people but thought it's for the greater good that we make more room.. I learned the hard way that it wasn't my decision and that I should've respected their believe no matter how stupid they sound lol. you got me dude, I'll get you one day too .

anyway sorry for the wall of text, but this is really good, if I could vote I'd give you 5/5 innovation. who cares if the art style isn't great, everything else makes up for it, and you should be proud my cat loving, story writing, music nerding friend!

Moneypit by Wouter52 2023-10-04T10:44:21Z

simple yet hella fun and addictive, I enjoyed this as my first LD playthrough, the engineers feel like they have a brain of their own preferring my direction and screwing with me by moving towards the path I'm going to just to back off when I do lol, made for some trippy experience. I don't know how you coded them but they don't feel like typical pacman ghosts.

the only thing that I'd change is the tint or shape of the character, because at the start of levels I mistake him for a coin and can't find him, but this might be just me. anyway I enjoyed this, nice work overall

Lord Of Dungeon by Kujoen 2023-10-04T11:58:33Z

just how you guys managed to not only think of but also implement so many interesting mechanics while slaping a tutorial on top of it all is beyond me but I gotta admit this was one hell of an experience, I enjoyed this a lot, so much planning and strategy involved, I don't know if there is an ending but I couldn't reach it lol, my strategy was to keep weak units in the first rooms mainly skeletons to drain the healer ability then one final big room with ogres healer and skeletons shooting from the back, it worked for a while but I got overwhelmed eventually. I can only imagine how much work this all took, even the details like units stats and combat design, you really did a neat job here fellas!

LD55 — Summoning

Virtual Church of the Digital Goddess by Geckoo1337 2024-04-16T11:37:56Z

Another puzzle game by Geckoo! I really like the design of this game, the art style is really nice and easy to understand and the fact that you have unique sound effects for many situations instead of one generic "error" sound for everything is really nice. I have to admit that the puzzle was really challenging to me  it took me so long to beat that level with 2 adjacent red tiles and by the time I made it to level 10 (which is a feat of its own) I was so mentally exhausted I couldn't solve it . some of the puzzles are really impressive at being so simple yet so darn complicated! somewhere in level 7-8 I tried going back in time but the block didn't move so I was holding Backspace and getting more tries without losing progress which was weird lol. anyway great puzzle as always, this was fun and well polished for a jam game!

Damn! Jury Summons?! by kleinzach 2024-04-24T14:53:49Z

this is a really nice interpretation on the theme, I enjoyed playing this a lot. I learned that a good strategy is to banish the giant eye since it always sides with the angel then try to convince other juries individually rather than all at one! the art style and music are really nice and add a lot to the game. I wish there was some kind of gameover screen but I understand that you can only do so much in a game jam. great work!

Devotion - A fairytale by daandruff 2024-04-15T22:08:01Z

damn, never thought I'd give a high rating to a point'n'click game but this was really well put together, I really like games that have immersive atmosphere and good story telling, and this games is quite immersive! the art style is really good, you did a great job conveying many things with such a limited palette, music is also fitting. overall this goes to show how a game with simple mechanics can also be fun if done right. great job!

Ars Vocandi by abcdef65g 2024-04-16T18:07:18Z

same thing as other comments unfortunately. let me know if you fix the issue and I'll play it, good luck!

00000000000000000000.PNG

jokes aside this game is fairly simple but a good way to turn your brain off for 5 minutes lol I see you mention your state machine a lot and that's a sign that's you're really proud of yourself  I'm happy to see what you had fun and learned a thing or two in the process, in the end that's all that matters! really cozy game (minus the spy). looking forward to join your future streams!

Spirit, are you there? by namnam 2024-04-16T18:01:52Z

This is the only game so far that gets 5/5 in more than 1 category for me and I played plenty of games. the whole idea is really interesting, the story is well paced and really engaging, nowhere did I feel like a dialogue was just a filler or skipped through just to get the next dialogue. the mechanic of answering like an actual ouija ghost is really cool! I player multiple times trying to get all dialogues (I'm a sucker for a good story can't help it lol). if you ever decide to continue working on this game please let me know and I'll gladly play it or buy it if it gets far enough. anyway good job on making such fun game despite being very simple, I enjoyed it a lot!

Hardcore High School by CaptainDreamcast 2024-04-15T15:42:57Z

lol I can tell you had plenty of fun making this badass hardcore game full of hardcornessness and other things (ice cream cone optionally included). I found this to be a nice change of pace from other games and I enjoyed going through it to the very badass end! it gave me a good laugh when you just forget what you were talking about and go on to talk about something else entirely  I should make a game like this one day.

for the gameplay part (choosing to accept of expel students) I found it fun but too simple mechanically so at some point I just kept accepting everyone until the meter is almost at 100% and I guess if it works it work right? I'm totally a badass-non-ghosts-bullet-spong and I love it!

TsuMonNancer: The Sum of the BrezelBlade by acronaut 2024-04-18T16:05:36Z

woah! the art is so amusing is that what the entire game looks like? can't wait to play your game I'm already intrigued. I'll leave a comment as a reminder

Boiled Hell by Mortith 2024-04-15T16:40:17Z

The game is quite addictive, it has simple but really rewarding mechanics. I thought about making a cheat sheet of references to get a high score but I'm too lazy for that lol, I hope the super high scores are not you guys, it feels a bit discouraging when you open the leaderboard and see such huge numbers . one thing I'd change is how the spell book works, I found myself spending most time just changing pages looking for that one ingredient I need, and while it is the challenge of the game it felt a bit frustrating when the timer ran out because it didn't entire feel like it was my fault. if I draw a wrong shape it's totally my fault and feels fair but if I run out of time because I don't remember where the page I'm looking for is it can feel punishing. I'd add previews with icons of next and previous pages just so searching is faster and make it so that the pages loop, so when going right after the last page it takes you back to the first (it's a magic game anyway lol).

This is just my experience, don't take it as me not liking the game, I totally had a fun time going through it and trying to figure things out, and the practice mode did help a lot with that, nice work!

Panpidech by Jeffez 2024-04-15T15:13:17Z

the idea of customizing your boat is awesome but I wish there was more to it. I had fun dodging the ocean bombs (bombs right? just like in real life lol). but once I figured out that I can take the hook out of water and fly wherever I want I just keeps flying around the map looking for easter eggs or something . I think having upgrades do more stuff would give players more motivation to hunt for them

Necro Summoner by Vasco Freitas 2024-04-24T15:02:13Z

Holly crap dude! this is just like my game but much more fun and with much more meaningful mechanics AND IN FREAKING COMPO??? HOOOOOOW? I can't imagine losing 1 day on my game. and even with 3 days I didn't have the time for the upgrades like in your game, I'm really impressed by how much you managed to achieve in a compo. seriously you're crazy . amazing work on the fun mechanics especially the summoning which is a strategic dance between risk and reward. the art style is neat and the audio is just as good! great work!

Eyyy this was a really brain stretcher. the puzzles are really well designed that it made me laugh at my self every time I realize that I'm screwed. the music is nice and non-intrusive and the mechanics are fun! I wish the lazer shooting enemy appeared in more levels it has good potential. but I understand that one can only make so much in a game jam. solid entry!

Demon At Duty by TevasLiutauras 2024-04-16T14:05:43Z

oof this was a really fun experience, dashing feels so satisfying when done right and I found myself doing pretty good as long as I stay off the edges of the map, the art style is really sweet but I wish there was some music to build more mood. having your child with you to shoot enemies is also a welcome addition especially with those pesky helmet units. overall this is a really fun game

resown by Lushboy Studios 2024-04-15T22:30:13Z

the game won't open for some reason.. I think it maybe because I'm using a virtual machine to run windows temporarily, I wish there was a web build but I don't think Love2D supports that out of the box. anyway I just wanted to say that despite not playing the game I absolutely love your music! I discovered your Soundcloud through the trailer and man I really like your work, it has that melancholic vibe that I'm all about and your use of instruments is amazing! just wanted to let you know I guess , if you make a web build later let me know I'd love to try the game

Circles of Life by kkritselis 2024-04-15T17:42:36Z

Hmm.. you haven't made a game before so the system doesn't trust you yet.. try uploading directly to LD instead of external links, that might work. this is an annoying side effect to countering spam but I guess it's necessary. anyway let me know when you get the link working and I'll play your game

Cthulhu Defense by Flying Dog Fish 2024-04-15T18:30:40Z

After wondering around in your page (which is pretty cool), I got to play the game. I love tower defense games, they remind me of my childhood playing flashgames. this one fun to experience, it feels random at first but once I realized that you can upgrade the towers it was more fun to play around. the repeating "Cthulhu" audio in the background gave me a headache though lol

Tao by leorean 2024-04-15T16:19:27Z

dude this has to be one of the best LD entries! it's my favorite so far, the art style and music is absolutely amazing! and the level design is really impressive. I can't believe you guys managed to put so much into this game in such a short time! I discovered an exploit with summoning a skill in midair while going up and landing on it on my way back but I promise I didn't use it :smile_cat:. once I got the jump boost ability the levels became so stupidly easy it felt like a reward for going through all the puzzles lol, though I did go the wrong way and go stuck on a level entrance but I burned the block I was stuck on and backtracked to victory! the game has a really nice Rogue-like element to it with finding a place you can't cross then coming back later with new toys that help you cross it. overall I enjoyed this one a lot! solid entry

Ghostly Notes by Kjip 2024-04-15T23:01:33Z

"Watch and listen carefully" that immediately made me guess the type of game I'll be playing, I haven't played this kind of memory games since I was a child so I'm not the best at it lol, that being said I make it to 9 notes as the highest I can remember so it's not so bad. the intro music is really sweet, I just sat there initially and listened to the entire thing, it's really beautiful! is that the Minor Harmonic? nice work, it's a really simple yet engaging game!

Ordinary Wizards Doing Ordinary Things by Fupi 2024-04-15T18:15:17Z

Eyyy what's up fupi? I really like how your games are having this big drawn environment as the background instead of tiles or solid colors, really adds to the world! the game is really chaotic and things go out of hand really quickly, I like the idea behind it but man did it make my brain fry lol. I was trying to balance my work when I didn't have enough mages by doing half the job in one place before moving to another to not lose a star, I don't know if that's a thing or if leaving a half finished job resets it but that's basically what I did until I got all mages killed

the music is really fitting too, I was waiting to hear that bass I hear every jam from your games lol but the music here is also pretty cool! nice to see your art style improving, it's beautiful to look back at your old game and observe a noticeable improvement. great work, both of you!

The Mage And The Assassins by 0X_VOID_X0 2024-04-15T14:40:40Z

@zamizmi, thank you! the game opens up into 1 main level after the tutorial. there aren't any other levels.

@suksu thanks, I'll work on a post-jam version later to address any issues. any problem in particular?

@xazens thank you! I used a limited color palette so I had to rely on silhouettes to distinguish allies from enemies. I'll make sure to work on that

The Mage And The Assassins by 0X_VOID_X0 2024-04-15T17:59:13Z

@mortith lol I'm glad you finished it, that's pretty much the intended strategy, clear enemies first then go for the portal. the cursor is intended to work that way, I found that having the summon sign simply follow the mouse was a bit too easy and made it so it starts at the position of the player and then has to be moved by dragging the mouse around. thank you for the feedback!

Parsley by Wouter52 2024-04-16T12:25:52Z

you guys always come up with something creative for your games . this game feels simple yet really interesting, it kept me trying again and again to beat my previous score but no matter how hard I tried the kitty cat always refused to eat. the sounds are really nice and knowing that they were recorded from real life adds more character to the game. I have no idea how people managed to get such high scores, the best path I found was to jump on the rope to skip the first cat then make a crazy jump from the tree to a poll to a house roof to skip the second but I still couldn't go lower than 30s. anyway this was a welcomed change of pace from other action/magic centered games, nice work guys! hope you had fun recording the cat sounds.

Bendirat by Enad96 2024-04-15T15:03:56Z

Holy shit dude that's a solid 5/5 mood. I'm a sucker for story focused games and I enjoyed this so much! the world building is solid and the characters feel real (until stuff happen lol). music is also really fitting. look man I did my best with the door puzzle, I just couldn't figure it out, it must've been something to abstract for monke brain, so thank you for allowing me to skip it and get the ending! overall I enjoyed this one a lot! good luck with covid.

Dry Season by HolyPerceval 2024-04-15T17:12:37Z

Haha this is so innovative I like it a lot! a minute of silence for those who perished in the process lol, the moment I heard the music of the last level I was like "hell no". it helps to rotate the keyboard vertically to match the layout on the screen though. and hey, I have the right to flex that I one the entire game without losing (minus some burned people but that's irrelevant XD). pretty cool game! I'm even more surprised you managed to make a rhythm based game that plays on the web without going out of sync every 2 seconds.

Do NOT Summon the Kraken by Willby 2024-04-15T22:49:21Z

very atmospheric game I enjoyed the vibe. the art style is really sweat I just can't get over how satisfying the running animation looks despite being like 2 frames lol the timing feels smooth. I like story focused games in general so I really enjoyed talking to the crew and getting all the dialogue I can get, the small attention to details here and there like the rain sound when at the top of the ship and the camera tilting adds so much to the whole vibe. I got stuck after interacting with the big guy right after I sent him to play chess with the captain, I don't know why but no dialogue appeared and I was stuck there unable to move, happened again after restarting and I just couldn't continue which is quite a shame (pls fix ). other than that the game is pretty solid and I had a good time following the story

Ghostly Lens by MorePixels 2024-04-15T17:51:45Z

Almost managed to beat your highscore!

ll.PNG

I think the idea behind the game of a witch becoming a ghost youtuber is pretty funny, the gameplay is just challenging enough to be engaging without getting in the way, beautiful work!

Unholy Cow by oligue 2024-04-15T15:23:57Z

Haha this was a blast, once you get all weapons the game turns into a chaotic dance of switching between weapons and planing your next move. I really enjoyed the strategy aspect of this game but I feel like it can turn off players who are more used to casual games lol. the variation in weapon types is really nice, no weapon feels like it was added just for the sake of filling the gap, especially the explosions and freezing effect. really cool entry!

Morth Obscurum by XOREAXEAX 2024-04-16T11:06:44Z

damn you actually made a game that looked like the screenshots you shared, looks pretty nice and I'm surprised my ancient GT1030 card didn't go all boom boom. overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and all the crazy effects but I wish it had more gameplay in it (I'm sure all that graphics takes time). you should totally make a short horror game out of this and throw in on itch.io!

Idle Hands by Saryah 2024-04-17T10:17:11Z

why did I take the dude's sleeping pills lol. this was a fun experience just casually taking people's stuff, I feel like I'm not the most competent at doing my job but that's just a theory.. A GAME TH.. the game could use some kind of minigame to do while waiting for the next portal, I found myself just running around and jumping like some 12y old in a minecraft skywars lobby. and the timer didn't really give me any pressure so I wish that was shorter I guess. other than that the idea is pretty cool!

Summon In The Dungeon by Kujoen 2024-04-16T11:52:51Z

This reminds me of your previous game, I had fun messing with this one, it wasn't obvious at first how to summon creatures other than the weakest one so I just spammed it until I died (which didn't take long), then I realized that you have to convert weak units into stronger ones and boy did I have fun. the game is really unforgiving, one mistake and everything is gone which kept me nervous the whole time lol. I appreciate that all enemies are killed when my portal's health reaches half but it only prolonged my survival by a little bit because I'd get crushed next wave. this is really fun to mess with! you guys should put some instruction in the itch.io page just so people don't leave because of confusion.

Summon In The Dungeon by Kujoen 2024-04-16T13:50:27Z

@kujoen woah that tutorial changed the game completely! understanding shortcuts and the ability to make the circle larger made this one of the most fun games I've played so far. I barely made it to wave 20 before getting crushed lol. so the biggest challenge with this game is not what units you want to spawn, it's getting them to spawn because each time you pick a unit the circle goes back to default size so you have to scroll again which takes time. so I found myself getting my units killed before I can convert them which was the biggest obstacle, I think making the circle keep its size or increasing the scroll speed would make the game more about strategy than speed. the shortcuts are nice but I wish I can click a card once then do multiple conversions without the card getting deselected each time. other than that this is so much fun! getting a strong unique to spawn after so much hardwork spawning minions and converting them felt so rewarding and there is a sense of challenge that is really well paced. I'm glad you made a tutorial because it's easy to miss out on much of the game.

based on the obstacles I mentioned, my winning strategy was to spawn minions and quickly convert to zombies before they died, if I try a stronger unit they die before I can scroll enough to include enough units so the strat for me was to spam zombies then convert zombies to other stronger units

Poizon Pets by LeiGGaRFeeD 2024-04-15T14:38:22Z

Hi! I think there is an issue with the web build. might want to look into that (I know dude it sucks to be dealing with this after uploading your game. relatable..)

BLOOD DRIVE!! by Saffwong 2024-04-15T14:03:13Z

this is one hell of a game to start my journey of playing LD entried! hell yeah brother :metal:. the sounds really add to the vibe of the game, I found that the best approach is to collect full blood before painting so paint on the ground doesn't fade out while you collect more. I just wish the game restarted on death rather than taking me back to the menu then I have to wait for the game to load again. overall pretty fun experience! I enjoyed it

The Gateway by Congeesetador 2024-04-15T17:37:20Z

boo you monster! shouldn't have trusted the humans

44.PNG

I had difficulty understanding what each person was saying due to the mic quality changing overtime but I enjoyed the game, it could use more enemy varieties and a big bad boss but you can only do so much in a game jam. nice game

The Gateway by Congeesetador 2024-04-15T18:01:55Z

@congeesetador hey. give yourself a pat in the back my friend you made a good game! also, you made all the voices in the game yourself? what the heck? I thought there were at least 3 people involved in recording voices lol you're really convincing

Exorcist Pianist by Aviv Levy 2024-04-16T17:36:15Z

Man that was really challenging lol, I like your use of colors and shape. the game is simple yet engaging, nice work!

To the deep by Chengnan17 2024-04-16T15:26:41Z

it looks like you're not trusted enough to do links.. try uploading directly to LD instead of using external links that should do it. once you publish your first game you become trusted and able to place links in the future. it's a bit of a punishing system but if you should've seen spamocalypse of last year when bots attacked the site and started submitting spam links in high volume lol

God's Apprentice by Kimday 2024-04-16T15:02:28Z

this was an easy 5/5 innovative game. simple and really fun! especially with the mouse and cat level and the many possible combinations it took me a while to get all objectives. the art style is really sweet and fitting with the game idea and the music is nice although a bit distracting at times. I really like how engaging this game it, you totally did a great job!

Obscure Proxy by Maks Night DLC 2024-04-16T15:22:40Z

the controls are a bit clunky but the concept is nice, I like the art style and level design you went for. those rats didn't stand a chance.

HolyCrash by YANGSANG 2024-04-16T14:40:06Z

heey I got my certificate! lol this game is chaotic neutral, I like the idea and I definitely felt the pressure of trying to read while driving while also trying to identify the target it's a really nice challenge. I wish there were more levels or a more procedural system but it's a game jam with limited time after all. also the game sends you flying off the map if you try to cheat XD

(I can't vote for some reason, I'll come back later)

Chessummon by Def-Mane 2024-04-15T21:50:30Z

heyyy! there is always a chess game somewhere no matter the theme. I really like the art style and music of this game, it took me a while to realize how to do the puzzle, I was trying to move the pieces to the center because it looked empty (in my first attempt the empty piece was at the center) lol. the game is pretty fun, you totally butchered chess pieces placement. the puzzle is quite difficult though, I'd often die while so close to solving it I think you should make it a bit easier if you go for a V1.1 release. other than that the game is pretty fun, and that inferior old man sure likes to talk a lot.

Bloody Infection by Nxght 2024-04-16T18:11:12Z

hmm.. I press the link but I don't get any download, maybe try uploading again is LD allows it?

Lexicat - the word wizzard by muhyrla 2024-04-15T16:51:51Z

oof couldn't play it, sorry.. I'd play the source code directly but I don't have pygames. anyway I noticed that your page is flagged for suspicious activity. this is normal and has happened to me and a friend of mine before, it happens when you upload a game right after creating your page, the warning should go away soon. and for anyone curious I ran the game through [virustotal](https://www.virustotal.com) and it's pretty safe!

0.PNG

try to upload a web build when joining game jams, its easier to run and makes people less suspicious. other than that, I wish you good luck and hope that you had fun making this game!

A Following Wind by digitaliliad 2024-04-18T14:52:17Z

those silly silly pilgrims jumping into ships they don't know how to use lol. this is was really fun! it's a simple concept but once you realize that wind can continue to travel and effect other ships that you don't want it to it gets really strategic. I heard on stream that you made the sounds yourself and I'm mindblown by that because the sfx sound like a realistic recording from some free library you did a great job at that! did you do the music yourself too? honestly for your first game you did pretty good, congrats! and welcome to LD

The lawyer by RPGWanderer 2024-04-15T14:47:52Z

The concept of switching between work and fighting goblins is nice. I wish there was more to this game though (you should totally use a game engine next time ). I hope you had fun making this game!

Mathical Worker by PedroSilveira 2024-04-15T17:22:32Z

I don't understand the language but everyone understands the universal language of math lol, the game makes me feel stupid at how I'm sometimes unable to solve a puzzle quick enough, it's a simple but engaging and fun game, my only issue was the language barrier but I understood the game with trial and error! I also notices that you included the source code with the file (you only need to upload "Mathical_Worker.exe" and "Mathical_Worker.pck") and couldn't help but peek inside your files lol I hope you don't mind! nice game

windows link doesn't work

Deadly Roots by Vincent4096 2024-04-15T23:08:28Z

that image at the start is so dark souls man . the game is fairly simple but quite fun when player strategically. collecting diamonds feels satisfying and there is a sense of planning and trying to match units speed to that they reach the enemy at the same time and help cover each other's weaknesses. I wish there were more levels.

LD57 — Depths

Skellevator by Kahztein 2025-04-10T16:31:08Z

The combat feels surprisingly satisfying and there seems to be a meta that I couldn't completely figure out but I think staying on the floor helps by giving me more room to wiggle. The game is fairly challenging, I couldn't get past level3 for the life of me, at some point I was just running around like a headless chicken and throwing swords whenever I could . I wish there was a bit more variety in game mechanics but I guess there is only so much one can do in a game jam. I had fun.

RainDrops by Geckoo1337 2025-04-07T21:57:32Z

As always this game was a technical beauty, it reminded me of an older entry of yours with similar mechanics but you can paint on walls. Somehow I found this one to be better, probably because it's a new concept to me. I have no clue how you did this nor how you made it work smoothly on web but I enjoyed this. At some point I was like "are you seriously going to make me do parkour while half blind?".

RainDrops by Geckoo1337 2025-04-09T15:49:14Z

@geckoo1337 for the record I didn't think doing platforming was a bad thing, I enjoyed the challenge and actually managed to reach the sphere

Perspector by Parxer 2025-04-12T09:26:16Z

I game about shifting perspective will never not be innovative to me! I like the idea of this game, still not sure how it works technically

The animations feel really smooth and the art style is nice. The gameplay can be hit or miss at times, understandably a game like this would take more than 3 days to balance but I had difficulty understanding the shift in perspective until I realized that when you go back to top down view you retain the same Z position as the last time you were in top down view.

Falling all the way from the top to the start reminded me a lot of Getting Over It (a game I would rather not think about ). Overall I found this to be an innovative game despite the challenging gameplay.

Neon Crawl by ping78 2025-04-12T14:04:26Z

Cool neon effect, I like how its incorporated into everything in the game. The gameplay is fun but very challenging, especially with the 1 hit death, I think it would be better if I had more health so I don't die by accidentally ramming into an enemy while the level is transitioning .

Cartoscoot by Mr_Field 2025-04-24T16:17:14Z

An absolute banger of a game! I didn't expect for a game to be in my top 10 favorites this far into the jam. The game is fundamentally good, it's mysterious, rewarding and plain fun even if you strip away all the nice art and beautiful music you have a good substance if I'm making sense. Amazing work! Will revisit the game later to study some game design.

t.PNG

Abgrund by Ace17 2025-04-14T09:36:18Z

Cool mechanics I like the variety from moving platforms to unstable floors to swimming and climbing ladders. The map is Huge labyrinth I managed to find 14 trinkets before I started going in circles lol.

Great job!

Further Below by Flaterectomy 2025-04-10T16:22:23Z

This was surprisingly immersive for a text based experience. Your writing is pretty good I found myself imagining every scene based on your description which helped me navigate better and feel more immersed. I wish there was more to it as I feel like there are many questions left unanswered which I understand creates mystery but by the end(s) I found myself wanting more. Regardless, I had a lot of fun and I thinking you're writing skills are impressive. Good game!

To the Depths of the Galaxy by alaah 2025-04-24T16:38:15Z

Nice work on this one! I appreciate being able to respawn on the spot and continue after dying, if the game required actual money I would've lost way too much lol. Almost managed to beat your score.

The Signal by joewan 2025-04-11T09:23:26Z

Perfect horror mood, I love the atmosphere and how it kept me on my toes the whole time I was sure you're going to spawn an enemy in a path I've already been through and that alone kept me terrified lol, nice use of anticipation.

The sounds are creepy and the art is simple but clear, I wish there were more levels, I'd totally play this if you do a full release, 5/5 mood.

ONLY GO DOWN by jefvel 2025-04-10T19:37:19Z

Not to brag but (I'm about to brag hehe) I managed to beat the game in only 2 tries.

1.PNG

I like the dithering effect and the music. I wish there was more to controlling the player other than a clicking, and maybe some upgrades or enemies for variety. Overall the game is simple and fun.

The Chase Beneath by Alvaron 2025-04-15T17:05:18Z

I love me a horror jam game! This was moody, the constantly lurking monster made me anticipate a jumpscare the whole game lol. The low poly style fits well. My only complain is that there are areas where you have to walk for a while without anything happening which help build anticipation but can get repetitive. Overall this was fun!

Dirty Little Secrets by winniehell 2025-04-07T23:07:07Z

So far this is the game that hooked me the most, I spent over 30 minutes playing, you have an addictive gameplay loop and satisfying mechanics. It's clear that a lot of love went into making this game from all the art of each indivisual object to the informative descriptions. My only feedback would be that the progress felt very slow, which is fine for a normal game but for a jam game I can only play for so long. Other than that this is a solid game, I found myself singing a silly song about taking people's money each time the museum music started lol. Good job!

A seance and a murder by Stratcat66 2025-04-11T09:13:06Z

This was probably the highest rating I've given so far, the game looks deceptively simple but it's incredible, the concept of a murder mystery is great on its own but then you have NPC schedules that you have to track and jump between and the mind-reading mechanic that makes for strategic gameplay where you have to search for those moments of isolation and constantly be on the lookout.

I played the game a bunch of times and it never got stale, this could genuinely be a full game with better polish and longer story.

My main criticism as someone else pointed out is that for a game jam the game could use a bit more handholding, and perhaps you can make the time stop temporarily while you read minds. Other than that, this was innovative and fun, solid game!

TapTapTapTapTapTapTapTap by p-r 2025-04-18T12:44:14Z

Interesting and somewhat addictive concept but there is a lack of clarity about what to do initially. There is fun to it.

SpeleoloGraph by Bismark 2025-04-09T12:32:43Z

I had some difficulties figuring out everything at first, I feel like having so many text elements at the start can be discouraging for some players. I enjoyed the unique navigation and the challenge of managing stamina.

Hadal by ColeSlaughter 2025-04-12T20:56:51Z

Okay you're not going to believe this but I'm gonna say it anyway, I was playing your game trying to beat the highscore, I was close to second (or third place) in a perfect run, everything went well and then suddenly! A FREAKING POWER OUTAGE! That hasn't happened in months . To add salt to injury I was one step away from the end, if the outage happened 5 seconds later I would've won, I hate everything.

Anyway, ahhemmm. The game is very fun, the leaderboard kept me trying and trying, each time raging and pressing R because I messed up a decent run lol. The level design is pretty cool too. Good job guys!

PS: Penith

Hollowspire by simex 2025-04-07T23:31:55Z

So far the most enjoyable game! I'm so glad there is an actual ending otherwise I would've kept playing forever lol, the addiction factor is off the charts. I don't know how you make the art for the blocks but it looks so darn satisfying and all the layers are optimized enough for the game to run smoothly on web. Honestly you deserve a pat on the back for this one, I had so much fun my monke brain was way too hooked to notice the atmosphere slowly turning evil. Amazing experience.

Nine Lives Deep by Simon Rahnasto 2025-04-18T13:12:28Z

I'm impressed you managed to make such a fun and innovative game in such a short time, I've seen few games with this amount of polish and quality, everything from art to music to gameplay is nearly flawless. Amazing work! I can't believe I missed this game until now.

Somnium by Roitchie 2025-04-11T09:43:08Z

One of the most creative interpretations of the theme! Reminds me of games like Superliminal and Manifold Garden to some extent. The graphics are simple and clear and the level design is well thought out, I'm surprised you managed to make all of that in 3 days. Beautiful work, would totally play a full version!

DEEP DEEP DIG DIG by NoytroO 2025-04-07T22:05:10Z

There is always that one game that takes the theme in the weirdest possible direction . This was genuinely fun to play, once I figured out how to time it right and the trade off between being big and small I had a bit of flow going on. Overall it's a simple game that doesn't waste your time and doesn't take itself seriously which is what I like in a jam game. Nice work!

Coin Grind by jester1454 2025-04-08T19:36:07Z

This was simple and fun, I enjoyed all the little things and the different digging tools, the minesweeper-like hidden objects and the half life2-like exploding objects launching other exploding objects into you was chaotic lol. Nice game!

Sinking of you by Re-Markable 2025-04-14T16:20:43Z

That was different! I like the creative idea and how you recorded dialogues. The gameplay is fun but I found myself spending most of the time listening to dialogue, I wish the gameplay was more of a focus especially since you have a bunch of interesting mechanics and obstacles. Nice work!

Wyatt & I by Untitled Studios 2025-04-25T20:25:28Z

Incredible game! I wish I found this earlier when I had more time but I enjoyed it a lot, very creative.

Riches From Below by negdo 2025-04-11T08:50:38Z

This was a lot of fun, the graphics set the mood really well and the gameplay is simple but addictive. I found myself playing for quite a while. The upgrades actually make a difference rather than just being there for display's sake.

Nice work!

A moment of silence for all the divers that died of natural cause.

DESCEND with CAUTION by LightningST 2025-04-08T00:25:59Z

Oh man this was hard, I enjoyed the game a lot, the simple and engaging mechanics, the art style and the seemingly infinite playlist of music. It took some suffering and singing with the melody about how evil the dev is, but it was a solid experience, I'm curious what tool did you use to do the level design?

3.PNG

Also I feel like most players are going to get stuck here and not understand what to do but that's just a guess. 1.PNG

DESCEND with CAUTION by LightningST 2025-04-08T00:42:47Z

@lightningst that's genius! I was overcomplicating it in my head but this makes sense, thanks for sharing.

Blind Depths by DeadCode 2025-04-08T17:29:09Z

That jumpscare scared the crap out of me, I was not ready for that lol 5/5 mood. The game felt like a true cave diving experience, I was running in circles half the time and had no clue where to go. I managed to finally find the other pilot with the help of beacons. I wish I could pick them back up and reuse them.

Overall this is a cool entry.

Granny's Gotcha by Joscco 2025-04-09T21:25:25Z

Amazing game! probably the best I've played so far, everything is perfect, the art style, music and gameplay all work together very well, the difficulty curve was perfect for me, easy at first, then challenging but not to the point where I'm incentivized to go play something else. I'm impressed you managed to pull all this off in a short time. Easy 5/5 from me!

Spider Cave Offensive by Cardboard Box 2025-04-11T08:56:48Z

Beautiful art style and music. The gameplay is intuitive and fun and I really appreciate the tutorial at the start, beats a wall of text anytime. I found that a good strategy was to press the down arrow as fast as I possibly can until I spot a monster, as long as I'm fast enough the spider shot will miss me. Solid entry!

I love me a good pico8 game.

Mr. Money's Phenomenally Soggy Water Removal Romp by Rhoka 2025-04-12T08:18:37Z

I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU MADE ME SPEND HOURS DRAINING A STUPID LAKE. 11/10!

If there was a rating for "I want a full release of this" I'd give you 5/5. This game triggers a deep primal ooga booga instinct within me, the same instinct that make us want to dig a hole at the beach, or grab a stick that looks like a sword. I was there for hours just draining and purchasing and draining more and more AND MOOOORE...

This is the highest ratings I've given a game this jam and I'd give you 6/5 if I could. Actually 7/5 for the added comfort of controller support. The pixelated art style is awesome and the music is top notch without being repetitive (I appreciate the cooldown between music). You guys totally cooked, with such an ambitious game for 3 days and somehow managed to finish it!

The humor was also just perfect, I noticed those trees with purple textures and thought "aw man must be an issue with textures" and then it turned out to be a feature!

I can yap on and on and on about how much I enjoyed this game but you get the idea by now, best game I played this jam :100:

t.PNG

Deep Space Photography by Verbante 2025-04-12T08:45:28Z

Beautiful art style and mysterious music! It was inevitable that the world would know about the creatures the moment they put me in charge lol, the difficulty escalates quickly especially once the big green creature appears, it felt like a was juggling many things at once I forgot to breathe for a moment XD.

I found the best strategy to be standing where the camera is and shooting without moving too much which worked for a while but I gotta say, the game is quite difficult even in post-jam build.

Overall I found myself getting immersed in the action (at some point I screamed at a person "GET YOUR BIG HEAD OUT OF THE WAY" XD) and had fun despite the challenge. Nice work!

Diggin' Deeper by gquibao 2025-04-12T13:56:50Z

That was different lol. I love your idea of the theme, the gameplay is very simple yet engaging and the art style is cute.

I have to points of feedback to make: - 1: Please move the notice about the newer version being on itch.io to be at the top of the page so people can read it before playing the game. - 2: The descent from one row to the next right after you hit the last block is very fast even in the first levels, I found myself forced to not hit the first block in a row and wait for the gnome to bounce back which sometimes left killed the momentum of breaking every block first try.

I did have a lot of fun trying to do it as fast as possible lol, great game, I can totally see it as a mobile game!

Holy Moly! by Thomas_Bringer 2025-04-22T10:20:39Z

Amazing game! Easy to understand, simple and fun, I had a lot of fun. I wish there were more levels.

PARALLAX MOON by Raivk 2025-04-14T09:54:24Z

Interesting interpretation of the theme, I found the art style pretty cool and the story telling through level design is nice.

I feel like the gameplay didn't really provide a challenge, it was easy to find the moon and the glyphs each time, I think if there was parallax scrolling both horizontally and vertically it would've doubled the possibilities of where the moon would be and added more challenge.

Overall this was something different and I appreciate that.

Deep Fisher by Doomky 2025-04-13T20:07:01Z

Surprisingly challenging game with simple to understand mechanics, I found myself hectically trying to collect fish, dodge monsters and move towards the next oxygen tank all at the same time which created a nice sense of immersion. The graphics are pretty cool. Nice work! (best score around 30'000)

BENEATH by Friend_Pirozhok 2025-04-17T18:33:11Z

Well polished game, I like all the little details and the good looking UI (which is usually in game jams). The gameplay is simple to understand but engaging, I liked the puzzle element.

Dyamid by leorean 2025-04-12T09:37:44Z

Clever game with great level design and art style, this was a blast to play! I don't know how you managed to finish all that while keeping the game very polished in only 3 days. Amazing work!

I'd totally play a full version.

CAGE by krakadushka 2025-04-12T13:08:33Z

I'm unable to play the game, let me know if you fix it and I'll gladly try again.

@impossible-teapot I just opened the itch io page and got this popup, it seems to be an array index out of bound error somewhere?

Let me know if you want me to delete that image if it is taking too much space or is an eyesore.

Murder for Dessert by Fupi 2025-04-07T21:47:47Z

Awesome atmosphere and music as always, you guys nailed the black and white detective vibe. I don't think I've ever played a game before where you can go backward in dialogue boxes that's some innovation.

The bass goes hard I found myself singing the dialogue at the start with a deep voice lol.

Unfortunately I couldn't for the life of me beat the game, there is a lot of back and forth the best I could do was unlock 3 dialogues at a time. I guess my detective skills aren't as good as I thought

Though if I was to give you feedback I would say that the game requires more commitment than the average jam game, I spend a good 20 minutes but I wasn't making as much progress as I hoped, but that may well be a skill issue. Congrats on finishing the game!

The Hidden Depths by nsadie 2025-04-11T08:13:28Z

That intro alone is worth some innovation points, it was an awesome idea

The game requires some getting used to but it plays like a puzzle game with strategic long term planning, and as someone who grew up playing games like Age Of Empires2 I enjoyed that. I like how the ideal eco-system for the most points is one where creature placement makes sense (coral at the bottom, then prey then predators).

Awesome Work!

The Deep Dive into Another World is over? by HNKXOBKA 2025-04-11T13:52:57Z

oof lol. This game reminds me of an old game I used to play I can't remember its name. Music helps the mood without being too loud and mixing of 2d and 3d is a nice touch. The gameplay was challenging especially the projectiles canceling out was throwing me off but the shop was there for the rescue. Good game!

Going Down Protocol by Ein 2025-04-11T14:51:47Z

Honestly one of the best entries so far, it amazes me how you managed to do 3d modeling, animations and design of all levels in only 3 days while keeping the game well polished. The atmosphere is really good and the puzzles are smart without being too complicated (I was often the one complicating solutions in my head).

The music is also amazing, there is an acapella at some point that I thought was really beautiful

Hints are also something I appreciate about this game, I feel like more games should have optional hints for players that get stuck and end up quitting before experimenting the whole game, I only needed to look up a hint once and liked how it didn't show me the answer outright, instead providing a small hint. Although I feel like it would've been better if you didn't tell me that there are no jumpscares, though I understand that some people don't like them.

Overall, this was a really nice experience, I'd love to see this game expanded further, you obviously have a talented team and good coordination!

Grimm Syndrome by Missfire 2025-04-16T16:55:52Z

This was such a different experience, I love your approach to the theme and the story telling and variety in gameplay. The music is awesome and moody (what scale was that piano melody?) and the graphics looks beautiful. You guys did great in such a short time. Amazing teamwork!

Pizza Devilery by Sariiger 2025-04-07T22:17:34Z

This game had me screaming and clenching my butt the whole time .

I do not have the patience for these kind of games so as soon as I realized that there was an easy mode I turned it on. Though I would argue that the jump indicator should be in the game by default. I appreciate you considering the impatient of us lol.

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-07T23:33:24Z

@sariiger Thank you for playing, I didn't realize that was a thing. Somehow it never happened during testing. I'll patch it ASAP, sorry for the inconvenience.

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-08T14:43:01Z

@fupi thank you for the kind words! I had a lot of fun composing the music this time. I went for a simple game idea so I had the entire third day just for polish. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-08T17:03:26Z

@karbirus thanks for playing and for the feedback! I didn't think it would cause issues but realized the next day how problematic having keys like Ctrl and Tab was for web. I replaced them with normal keys.

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-08T18:03:28Z

@catusfelony Thank you thank you . I never ran into the bug you mentioned, I'll check it out and fix it, thank you for the feedback!

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-08T19:46:34Z

@flinge aww I was sure I fixed that bug it's driving me crazy. Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-08T20:07:27Z

@flinge that sounds like a pain, the problem is that I can't get the bug to happen for me no matter what lol.

@koolruz sorry for the misleading patch node I didn't realize until now . I hope your cat is okay, I know I can't live without my little orange creature.

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-10T17:54:26Z

@wouter52 wouuuter! I'm so glad you enjoyed my game and it definitely makes my day that the evil bug is no more

I typically go browse color palettes from Lospec as soon as I have an idea, and the more limited the palette is the less endless-possibilities pressure I feel, it also makes for better cohesion.

I know exactly what you mean with the index starting from 1 :crying_cat_face:. It messes with my brain too and I thought about making it start from 0 since most people playing will have some programming experience but thought it's better to try and be a little more inclusive.

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you approve

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-12T13:18:41Z

@leorean I'm sorry to hear, I'm not able to see the embedded imaged but my guess is that you're referring to the memory type that requires holding a key.

The idea is that you have to hold the key, solve the other inputs while still holding the key, and finally keep holding while the sequence is validating until the validation phase (where memories are turned blue) is over.

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-14T09:14:17Z

@byebye Sorry to hear, I'm not sure what could've caused that but it could've been something to do with your keyboard layout?

@lisek-gagatek Yeah, a playtester said the same idea but at that point it was too late to rewrite the logic for that. Looking back at it now that would've made for a smoother more thematic experience.

@euler-moises There is but I understand that it takes a bunch of levels to reach it, I'll make sure to make my next jam game shorter

@geckoo1337 Geckoo!! Thank you for the kind words I'm honored my friend.

@lereveur Yeah this turned out to be my buggiest entry yet :crying_cat_face:. I guess ya win some and lose some. Thank you for understanding a fellow jammer.

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-17T12:07:27Z

@kujoen I appreciate your kind words . Hopefully next time there will be less bugs lol.

I had a bunch of ideas at the start, from mining to deep sea related ideas etc... I was going for a game where you play as a fish in the depths eating other smaller fish to grow bigger and gain their features but I didn't find it interesting enough so I went for a more "depths of the mind" interpretation, the gameplay was inspired by the bamboo cutting mini-game from Ghost Of Tsushima and I expanded from there.

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-17T12:10:11Z

@missfire Thank you for your feedback! Your point about the lack of connection between story and gameplay is valid, I didn't manage to connect them as much as I hoped. A friend suggested the idea of writing actual words but by that time it was day 3 and I didn't have the time for a code rewrite. I'm definitely noting all the feedback for my next games. Also, I'll leave a note about the keyboard layout, thank you!

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-21T11:14:07Z

@friend-pirozhok eyyy! Good job man, that's pretty impressive for the first try. I'm not sure what causes the input to bug out when using non querty layout but I'm glad you figured it out.

Thank you for playing, I hope it wasn't too frustrating . Also don't worry about the mixed up name, I think it adds more comedic value lol.

A Final Deed by 0X_VOID_X0 2025-04-25T18:50:24Z

@aweskybear I'm honored! Thank you for the kind words

Deeper into the Black Hole by On100Ruykajop 2025-04-09T12:24:44Z

I can't rate the game for some reason but I didn't really understand what to do, it seems there is a debug feature still in the game when you press Space, and after a minute or 2 the bot goes "if you leave me to explain" and I lose control. I'm not sure how to play?

Cadet Mizuno by betovf 2025-04-12T09:14:49Z

You animated a starting cutscene that blends seamlessly with the start of the game??? Are you crazy?

I appreciate the simplicity of this game, it was clear from the beginning where I needed to go and what I should/shouldn't do. The low poly style is always a plus for me.

I did found the game to be quite challenging, mainly due to the kinetic ability pushing objects all the way, the guards also can spot you through small gaps between object which can feel unfair sometimes, perhaps this would've worked better with grid-based movement so it's clear when I can be spotted.

Other than that I think the idea of using kinetic superpower to solve puzzles is innovative and I had fun.

Depths of Xylos by Reyansh 2025-04-11T08:27:10Z

I like the variety in levels and how some mechanics like spikes and falling arrows only show up for a brief time before moving to something different. The variety in weapons is cool although I couldn't figure out how to use the sword without taking damage from zombies. I couldn't get past the boss fight, I tried to gather the zombies together and then jump past them but that was easier said than done lol.

Overall this was a nice change of pace.

Lockpicks-11 by suvi 2025-04-12T10:02:01Z

Very fun and creative game, I like the variety in puzzles and the beautiful animations. The game is simple but engaging enough to keep me replaying a couple of times even after I beat it. The music is a bit repetitive but I think you did a great job!

The chronicles of Mr. Marmo by Wouter52 2025-04-08T17:51:46Z

At this point I can recognize your games just by the art style . This was fun to play, I got a good giggle out of the music and the puzzle element was engaging. I got stuck in the geometry at some point and couldn't keep going but it was fun while it lasted lol. My only complain is that the music doesn't loop so I'm given a piece of art and it's taken away from me too soon.

Nice work as usual!

The chronicles of Mr. Marmo by Wouter52 2025-04-17T20:38:08Z

@wouter52 Haha I didn't think you'd know, somehow I forgot that streams can be recorded. I joined as he was playing your game and wanted to inform you but I don't have a way to contact you. Glad you got to see it, and still 3rd place baby!

Focal Depth by parkuhrmd 2025-04-11T10:13:07Z

Wow what a game, the pixelated art style fits well with the concept and the music is sooo Subnautica especially those bell-like instruments doing arpegios, it reminded me a lot of underwater exploration in Subnautica and that since of "what's behind that corner over there". I enjoyed this one a lot.

Also I totally thought I was going to get jumpscared in the end lol, thanks for not giving me a heart attack I guess.

Escape the Depths by Jhonny111 2025-04-14T15:48:15Z

I can't believe you made me spend more than an hour playing this .

This was somehow addictively fun, something about gathering resources and upgrading stuff makes me spend way too long playing a game. The combat is simple but fun and not overly difficult (something I should learn myself lol). Awesome game!

Reclaim You Soul by Kobato Games 2025-04-24T16:29:13Z

As short as the game was I found it enjoyable, the level felt like one big puzzle to solve one element at a time. I wish you had time for more levels, I can image more mechanics spicing up the gameplay with a few more levels. Good job!

SLITHER by slimetrash 2025-04-11T14:07:49Z

Interesting idea, I like the physics-based movement and the challenge added by the buoyancy. The graphics is cute.

I gotta say, this is NOT a calming game . It's tricky and the level design can feel punishing sometimes especially when you fail 1 step away from the finish line and have to restart.

I managed to get better at controlling the character but got stuck at the level shown in the image at the top of the page. Overall I think the game is innovative and tries something different but at the same time it's a bit punishing

Drillraph by DaivyIsHere 2025-04-12T17:58:27Z

Can't believe you managed to make this in a single day! A simple yet addictive game with an innovative idea and beautiful art style. You guys did great!

Note: if you have time you should rate more games so your game gets recommended to more people, would be a shame if this game doesn't get a rating.

Belials Bellybutton by Kujoen 2025-04-08T16:53:13Z

You guys really cooked this time, I enjoyed this game a lot, the atmosphere is genuinely creepy and the controls feel challenging. Nice work with the creepy sounds and art, don't think I didn't notice the attention to details like the diver's head and the directional audio. Overall this was fun to play I couldn't manage to find all upgrades I'm sure it was only 1 or 2 left but I couldn't find them for the life of me, I wouldn't make a good cave diver lol.

Belials Bellybutton by Kujoen 2025-04-10T18:15:48Z

I had to give it another shot for the new update. The game plays a lot better now with the restored [Redacted] especially that one big scary [Redacted] that made me gasp . I thought the chest direction UI would remove the exploration element out of the game but it actually makes it so much more fun by giving you a purpose while also not making the game easier since you still have to navigate around to reach it.

I managed to finish the game this time and had a smoother (and scarier) experience. I'm really proud of you guys for trying something different and moving out of your comfort zone with this game.

The Altermind Project by MatthewDrake 2025-04-10T17:44:16Z

Aww this is one of the most innovative entries I've played, I had plenty of fun, even knowing that it's just a game, having to answer personal questions like that can feel therapeutic. One of my favorite things in this game was the anticipation build up, the whole time I was getting more and more curious about what will happen at the end, will the game try to create something based on my input? do you use actual AI api to create a character? etc...

I would've loved to see something a bit more... I guess cool as the ending but that's me and my high expectations, or perhaps you and your immersive use of expectation management as a tool. Anyway, I had a lot of fun playing this game.

Johnny Depths by Aeoncl 2025-04-11T09:55:43Z

Ha a fellow typing game! I enjoyed this one a lot, you managed to make a lot out of typing, I liked the different types of text and how the word selection changes overtime to keep things fresh, the gibberish words got me everytime especially the ones with the ' character. This is as far as I managed to get, nice work and awesome music too!

DUCKDEPF by Jona Scheidig 2025-04-12T09:48:49Z

What a fun and addictive game, the only thing I wish was in the game is a leaderboard so I can track my score. The level generation is fair and well thought out and the gameplay variety kept me playing for quiet a while (best score 3000 and something). Very well done!

Burger into the Depths by zjuWindKing 2025-04-09T13:06:55Z

Spongbob shall eat his burger! (even though he can cook it himself). I enjoyed this entry, it doesn't overstay its welcome and is engaging without being too complex, something I'm guilty of myself . Nice work!

Depth Charge by Redmori 2025-04-07T22:29:51Z

Oof this was quite a challenge, I enjoyed how each layer requires its own timing and in the middle of all the chaos I had to remember not to throw the bomb too early, can't say I did a great job lol. I enjoyed the music as well. Nice work.

LD 57 by Codmen4000 2025-04-10T19:32:30Z

I'm not sure what to do exactly, I see what look like islands in the water? but I'm not sure if I should press something. Can you include some instructions?

Marble Race To Hell by Gaverion 2025-04-12T13:44:19Z

The classic 3d ball controls kind of game! The game is simple but engaging enough to keep me playing until the end, I found that I can jump down and as long as I do it right can land on a platform below and continue from there. Nice!

Darkest Depths by Shasaur 2025-04-09T11:52:22Z

I see the Darkest Dungeon inspiration in this game, it's surprisingly fun to slowly build your warriors I felt too invested in them at some point. The gameplay is simple and engaging. I enjoyed it. My only issue was the "flee to surface" button not turning on sometimes causing me to lose a warrior but that was also because I'm greedy and waiting until 1hp to go back

Stolen Heart by LyaMgtt 2025-04-11T09:30:51Z

The art style is really beautiful and I appreciate the visual clarity, I was able to tell what each icon meant (except for magical shield) before I even read the tutorial.

As others have mentioned the game could use more polish, especially when it comes to feedback so we can better track what's going on, I see that that's a planned feature and understand that there is only so much one can due in 3 days. I did manage to play a couple of rounds and had fun. Nice work and great art!

Home is where hell is by Anderson Job Loeffler 2025-04-12T13:03:48Z

I wish the game was a bit longer, somehow I managed to pick the right path first try. The music is really nice and the graphics are well done, I love the walk animation :)

Deep in the Folders by Playrea 2025-04-08T00:39:42Z

This is an easy 5/5 innovation form me. I love how you turned the theme into the depth of folders and as a messy person with an old computer this is accurate lol. The game made me panic the whole way through and I enjoyed the well paced "Aha!" moments. Nice work, this is a creative idea!

Death Perception by mshrmgirl 2025-04-12T13:37:10Z

Perfect! I love a game that doesn't take itself seriously, the gameplay is very simple and hella fun, this game scared me more than some games designed to be horror games I played this jam. I love all the gun animations and the sounds.

The game doesn't overstay its welcome, I found the gameplay length to be just perfect and the ending is top notch! Awesome game!

Prismarine by Anekich 2025-04-08T12:13:42Z

Really cool atmosphere and perspective, I love the art style and the mysterious music. The game was a bit difficult, I struggled to reach the intended depth before the timer ran out for a while but it clicked at some point and I hadfun. Nice work!

Into the depths by Perovic2018 2025-04-09T12:05:32Z

This game is so itch.io-indie-horror-game and I love that about it. The mood is spooky. I couldn't for the life of my figure out how to pick up the lantern, I tried E, tried stepping on it, tried different angles and it just wouldn't work so I went in without it and couldn't figure out where to go . I'll try it again later.

Also please enable VSync, my PC's fans didn't like running the game at 2000FPS.

Echo-Of-Fallens by caffeinetrip 2025-04-09T12:18:06Z

Cool atmosphere, I like how you put the final boss at the very start, it creates a sense of progress when you come back and beat him. The game was a bit short it only took me like 3 minutes to beat.

MineDigger by dot_Ex 2025-04-07T22:39:46Z

Cool game, I had fun with the simple but enjoyable mechanics. The style is cute and well polished and the audio fits the visuals well. My only issue was not being able to tell when an ore had a mine so it felt unfair when they blew in my face, and oh boy they did lol. The game hooked me and I found myself playing for quite a while. I had fun.

Floor -22 by mircal 2025-04-10T15:59:10Z

I did it! took a couple of attempts (mainly because I didn't know what to do with black holes at first) but I managed to get to -22. I had fun, the game is simple and fun with nice music. Nice work!

Cave Escape by Flinge 2025-04-10T18:58:45Z

What is it with simple game mechanics making for the most addicted games

I had to stop myself from doing "one last try" again and again, the difficulty scales really well and the overall game is fun and satisfying, I got 3 boots in a row at some point and my brain was on fireworks lol. The music is really nice and the graphics are simple but clear which is very important for a game like this.

All in all, this is a solid game, pure addiction. My only complain is that it doesn't have an online leaderboard.

Deep Dive by Matt Giuca 2025-04-18T12:50:33Z

I never managed to make it past the molten lava but I can see this as a mobile game. Nice work

She's downstairs by alcotrip 2025-04-12T13:28:15Z

Very creepy and moody. I love a good horror games and the monster design here was amazing. In terms of gameplay I felt like there wasn't much to do in a sense that the game was based on RNG rather than skill, I would've preferred something more based on my interaction so failure feels like my own fault rather than randomization. Cool game though.

Orb of the deep? by is.a.hatbox 2025-04-18T13:24:30Z

I would like to help you reach 20 ratings but the game won't start for some reason? All I'm getting is this: t.PNG

Devour by ScoobySnacks 2025-04-09T12:59:40Z

I love a good jam game that doesn't take too much time and is plain fun. The idea is simple but the gameplay is engaging, I enjoyed the graphics as well. Awesome job!

I can see this being developed further in the future.

Depth to Horizon by YibiRabbit007 2025-04-12T08:34:47Z

The closest jam game I played to an LSD simulator . I was confused the whole time but in a good way.

The music had me moving my head to the beat with an expression of confusion XD, I managed to make it to the level where the cubes keep falling and got overwhelmed. I think you did good for your first jam entry, definitely a memorable experience.

The Investigator by ImmortalFox 2025-04-07T21:23:19Z

Congratulations on your first game. You asked for honest feedback and I appreciate that attitude, you're going to improve as long as you accept criticism.

As mentioned by others I think the main issue with the game is the confusion, it's not clear what to do from the start, I thought the paper had 2 options and was confused how only 1 was clickable and didn't understand what to do until the timer ran out. I think for now you can improve the player experience with a simple text explanation in the itch.io page.

I think the art style is okay but can be improved, I found that grabbing a palette from Lospec typically helps me with cohesion, you could try that.

The music is fine I guess, it's not annoying or loud which oh boy that's a plus . I laughed at the "the developer hates the music too", but in all fairness there is only too much you can do at a game jam.

I hope this isn't harsh I'm just trying to be honest with you. This is a lot to improve but I remember my first jam game and how messy it was lol. You'll look back at this game one day and feel pride with how much progress you'll have made since trust me. I hope you had fun messing around with gamemaker.

Run For Your Knight by baychowski 2025-04-14T09:40:46Z

Surprisingly fun for its simplicity, I love games that are easy to understand and simple mechanically, which isn't to say it wasn't fun, I had a lot of fun trying to get the most out of the time I have and frantically trying to go fast before I mess up because I forgot for a second how queens move XD. Nice work on this innovative game!

HellDigger – A Cozy Idle Game by sangheli 2025-04-11T10:25:48Z

Probably my first ever idle game in a game jam, I like the simple but addictive mechanics that kept me playing for a while. The game feels satisfying and the art style is pretty.

For some reason I was never making enough money to buy a joker card (other than the first round), I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong. nice work!

Raid the Abyss by Static_Leap_Studios 2025-04-24T16:23:17Z

The game goes hard, I liked the gameplay, my strategy was to be aggressive and start with a kick before slashing away. Gamplay goes hard, music goes hard, even the animations feel really fluid how did you even do them? Overall this was fun. I did have some difficulty reading text though.

Where it Ends by cherrybcake 2025-04-09T13:13:12Z

Congrats on your first jam game! I hope you had fun making it. I think the graphics and sound design is really cute and fits the style, the gameplay is simple and fun.

My feedback would be that there isn't really a sense of progress here, maybe if we had some collectables that restore your health or slow down the fall etc it would make for a more variation. The second thing is that whenever I die it feels like it was the game's fault (the camera to be exact) rather than my fault which can cause frustration, ideally you want players to feel like they lost because they made mistakes rather than because the game design prevented them.

That's just my 2 bits, I think the game is fun nonetheless and for your first game you should be proud!

For a moment I forgot the horror vibes and started playing casual Stardew Valley. I like the vibes of this game, playing on the familiar and making it hella creepy. What can I say, grandpa wanted to be dug so I did what I had to lol.

My only criticism would be the screen effect which was quite intense I couldn't play on fullscreen for too long. Other than that this was innovative and fun.

Simple, innovative and fun. The platform placement was tricky at first especially when you click an existing platform by accident and it disappears . But I managed to overcome that. I found that building platforms while transitioning between levels made things a bit easier.

I appreciate a simple, easy to understand game. This was fun but also very challenging, I second the comment by @jcmonkey in that it might've been better to prevent players from taking damage in mid-air since we don't have that much control over the trajectory.

Overall I had fun and my best score was around 2000. Nice work and congrats on finishing your first game with such a tight time!

I like your interpretation of the theme. The game is simple and fun, although I felt like the game didn't require my input half the time it was fun to suddenly realize that a pepper just spawned and quickly make room for it lol.

Nice work!

This game was such a brain tease, I struggled to grip how it works at first, I thought I could outsmart the game and just hold down or only use certain pieces but nope! The dev thought about everything lol. I like the idea and the execution, ++ for pico8

Easiest 5/5 graphics I've ever given. This was an interesting take on the theme, I can totally see this as a full game with properly cooked mechanics and a full branching story. The gameplay is simple bug engaging, I think taking objects away from the backpack is bugged, I had to click near the left corner of the screen for it to register.

Overall this was enjoyable.
