Took me a while just to figure out level 2 hahaha. Cute mini games.

Took me a while just to figure out level 2 hahaha. Cute mini games.
really cute! reminds me of those flash games from ye olden days. Great work!
Fun little game, I got passed the fruits and vegetables, but failed the basketball.
Fun game overall though I must admit I have no ideea what to do with the vegetables, and the prospect of frantically swiping away the balloons over and over kinda puts me off trying to get back to the vegetables. Might try again on my windows machine, where I got my proper gaming gear setup :).
Really liked the music as well, I think it sounds nice and fits the mood well.
I managed to pass the baloon twice, but did'nt understood the vegetable one. The game is pretty nice and quite hard. It's even harder that is should, some puzzles don't even take ten seconds (the plane one for exemple).
I'm not in the 1%!
Overall, that's pretty nice, and you made simple but coherent graphics and music.
@waterfowler Thank you very much, I tried to do my best with the music, cause it was my first time, so I'm glad to hear you liked it :)
A cool puzzle game that integrates the theme well, it's a shame you have to restart from the beginning each time you fail. Couldn't get past the watch.
Real Cool idea reminds me of Impossible Game from Addicting Games
It's a nice little game! I think there should be more WarioWares in the world.
reminds me of Consider It!! love the concept and there are quite a few levels worth of content
Really fun game! Fast paced and made me want to keep going and going and going! I like the ambient sounds!
Pretty addicting, very reminiscent of the classic "impossible game" haha
I got up to the stonks question! I liked the clean black and white graphics, it really created a theme. For the moon one though, sometimes it doesn't register it as a success even when if it's off the screen. The questions were pretty perfectly 'intuitive' imo! I never really felt like any of the questions were impossible. I liked the music being rather low-key, but since you have to constantly replay the game using trial-and-error it eventually gets a little bit repetitive, though the music itself fits nicely with the game
Overall, I found it pretty fun :)
@caerul @frogwizardhat @tlatitude @waterfowler @chocolat-endive @lbrande @spacefudge @slimefriend @grump-ai @aderpychickenstudios @bxyzzz
Thank you all for your feedback and so many positive opinions. Playing your games was a pleasure too. And of course, we wish you to see all 20 levels in our game.
cool mini games. some of them felt a little too much like try and error but on the other hand its very nice if you solve one on the first try
Great game, very reminiscent of the good ol' impossible quiz!
Some fun mini games, and there being no explanation does add to both the stress and enjoyment, but it also ended in me dropping the game eventually because I have no clue what to do with the vegetable level. Some kind of hint after failure might have kept me going.
The art style is simple but clear and consistent, the music feels a little random but I was glad it was there. Overall pretty cool!
Mini games are cute and art style is very stylish.
Some of the mini games are a bit frustrating and they feel more like trial and error rather than understanding a concept. Some mini games also start very fast which does not give the player any time to react before game over. This is not only an issue the first time player sees the mini game but also issue for people that have motor challenges. But obviously you cannot do everything during a jam and these could be ironed out with more development time!
Thanks for a cool and pretty game. Good work!
What to do with balloons??! :)
I don't really understand what to do there, but i liked art style and i certainly had fun with it
The mini-games are really good and fun ! It's fun to discover each one of them !
really creative and fast paced, but i had difficulties on the basketball puzzle which i didnt know where 100% my fault :)
that was pretty fun! It did get slightly annoying that I had to start over every time, but maybe that's the point. Maybe if the leftover time from previous tasks were added to the next level, I would be in the 1% LOL

Cool style! much rage
cute small minigames, them being so short was not only good use of theme but made things feel a bit more frantic in a way that made success satisfying and made you want to stick with it!
Cool idea I liked it
A really easy game... who am I kidding... XD that game is challenging :D but so original
Really nice idea and style! Only had the problem that I could not pick up the pin once I let go of it. And also I did not figure out what to do with the vegetables, but that´s on me I guess. :D
Oh that's so clever! I only managed to go to level 4 it was very frustrating but I enjoyed it haha
Love the simple art + music! Reminds me of a wario ware game, but I could not for the life of me figure out the vegetables :( Also really appreciate the SFX sliders at the top! One small feedback is hoping that there's more time to figure things out, since 10 seconds is a bit tight especially the pin grabbing one! Great take on the theme though!
nice puzzle game. kept me busy with rookrules in his twitch chat trying to figure out the game!
Love this, its reminding me of impossible quiz. Super fun to play
Nice little puzzle game, challenging and quick!
@wildmusketeer Thank you, I'm glad you liked it cause it was my first time trying music but good feedbacks motivates me a ton! Maybe one day we will make it a full game with bit more time to think!
I can tell this was inspired by the "Impossible" type games back in the day of Flash games. Couldn't figure out the vegetable one and didn't feel like trying it too many more times. Would also be nice if the ones that had a failure condition for not acting (like the plane and balloon one) gave a bit more leeway, but then again this is similar to how those "Impossible" type games were like so I won't hold it against you.
AAAAAHHHHH! What is with the vegetables? I will figure this out! I will! This game is so simple. Why is it so difficult?
I'm enjoying it I swear. This is a really nice first game. Way better than my first LD entry.
What engine did you use btw. I'm just curious.
...strawberry, strawberry, ...strawberry, STRAWBERRYYY!!!
Fun game! Well done!
Finally in the 1% hahah. Fun and addicting game but I still don't understand what the explanation is for the magnifying glass and calculator ones
I thought that the rules of every single game would change every ten seconds (like sometimes the plane has to hit the clouds, sometimes it doesn't have to, sometimes you can move the plane and not the clouds). Meaning that it would be sometime interesting to pace yourself so you start the next game on the "right" ten seconds.
Now I have to go back to those vegetables
Edit: I got the vegetables! I understand that for an actual game to gatekeep the levels that way. However, for competition games, I would advocate for cheat code / hidden menu that allows skipping levels to showcase all your nice work in a timely manner (i.e. you might have people just stop and miss the very cool level X, or your funny ending)
I'll continue playing for a bit
Very fun idea! I feel like you should be given some time to look at a new level before starting the timer so you can think of something. Otherwise each time you get to a new one you inevitably fail because you're not prepared and you have to restart ALL OVER. That felt a bit annoying. I really like the concept though and with some quality of life improvements it could be Really addicting. Music was well fitting. I really liked the art style and it conveyed meaning really well. Overall well done and good amount of polish!
I played this one on stream last night! unfortunately the VOD got muted, so no link :(
I ended up giving up in the middle, because it was becoming quite a time sink, but I really enjoyed the puzzles! There was quite a lot of content for such a short time
The music is simple, but it works and doesn't get too annoying, which is important for a game of this length :p
good job!
The rage! great fun got up to the watch and could not figure it out!
I did it! I realy liked the puzzels and you interpretation of the theme. Well done! And thanks for sharing your game in my stream.
nice collection of minigames!sadly I got stuck at the one with many vegetables(try my game!)
Pretty cool. Sometimes it didn't register my clicks which was a little annoying, but not a big deal.
Great job fitting so many little games into a jam! I wish it had been a little bit more forgiving, for example: with the plane level, it's possible to lose within the first second, and having to replay the other levels to get another look got a bit frustrating. When I had a full 10 seconds to figure things out before failing, it felt more fair.
Pretty cool collection of games. The little tune fits the rest well, too. Others have already pointed out some of things that I agree with like mouse input not registering (balloons + basketball) and that it would be nice to have a little buffer at each level to get time to inspect the challenge.
Good job!
These puzzles remind me of old-school high-difficulty flash stuff like The Impossible Quiz from the era when ultra-high difficulty was the norm. It has good implementation and a nice consistent look. I didn't get past maybe level 4, and I imagine most other people won't either, but that's the whole point, really.
Nice little game. It reminded my of The Impossible Quiz too but with a time limit. I had difficulty passing the baseball level so I'm definitely not in %1
It was fun. It was challenging to figure out what to do. The song wasn't to good. I suggest giving a tutorial for the player so they know what to do. But over all it was a good game. Good job with this.
always love the game full of discovery, good job!
Very cool, glad everyone else here is mentioning the impossible quiz that was my first thought too and I loved those games :) Thank you for sending it to me on stream and I really enjoyed playing despite my struggling with the basketball haha. Maybe make it so that when that goes off screen it spawns back at the start.
Thank you for helping me get through that one :)
I'd also love to see an indicator showing which game number you are up to so players can see their progress and know how far through they are. That would be a nice QOL addition.
Overall very fun though and you could definitely keep working on this and release maybe on mobile as I'm sure many others would also love a new game like this :)
These were fun quick thinking mini game puzzles -really enjoyed them! Some were pretty cleverly done! Really liked the simple art style and the music too -great job!! :D
Agreed with the impossible game comparisons, also reminded me a bit of the warioware minigames - Great entry, had a lot of fun playing!
Very nice game! I like the fast paced feel, like warriorware sort of. The mini games are clever and fun. I wish you didn't have to restart from the beginning every time, it gets a little frustrating. But the overall idea and executiong is great! Kudos to the team :)
I think it could definitely be a fun game, the concept is interesting and the minimalist art style is really nice! It's just that the game really isn't for me.
My main problem with it was that you'd had to restart from the very beginning through all the mini games that you already know the solution to just to get to a stage where you had to do some trial and error before figuring out what you needed to do. Definitely adds to the frustration and got me to stop at the vegetables level. But maybe that's the intended experience I guess, kind of like the impossible quiz.
It looks cool, but why it resets every time?!
Very nice idea, reminds me of WarioWare where they give you 10 seconds to play a quick mini game. I think the gameplay really needs balance because it goes from satisfying to downright annoying just when you hit the airplane level. You're given very little time to react that even though I know you're supposed to move the cloud out of the way I barely even have enough time to click it out of the way let alone have time to think and analyze the situation. Its very important in these flash mini-game type of games to give the player some time to analyze and decrypt the puzzle of the level and I think there wasn't enough time for us to piece it together. Furthermore, the game resets back to level 1 every time, which just made this too grindy to want to make it to the end. Regardless, thank you very much for the entry and a job well done! I hope you release a better tuned version so that I can play to the end!
Haha this reminds me of an old falsh game with similar idea, love the simple yet consistent art style and the creative puzzles that characterize these kinds of games. only thing I wish was done different is the difficulty, something I learned by making difficult games in the past 2 jams is that it's really difficult to balance, you have little time for playtesting and people here are so different, some will go through your game like it's nothing while others struggle at the simplest tasks, trust me I've seen many streamers play my games and there is a huge skill gap between each person so I wish this game was a bit easier so it can be approachable by more people.. anyway that's just me rambling. that game is really good I enjoyed these AHAA! moments it gave me. well done
i laughed out loud so much in this one. very clever!! it reminds me a lot of "kuukiyomi: consider it" on the switch, which is a great thing to mirror. good job!
Never have I ever thought I'd get Rick rolled by a LD game lmao. Nice entry! All the puzzles are well designed and fun to tackle
Nice idea but I would have prefered if I had more time to understand the rules (like not lose in less than 2seconds) and not start over from the beginning. But nice job
Like other, I am unfortunately unable to firgure out the watch. Nevertheless, I love the concept of minigames like this, and having to figure out what to do. Starting over from the begining is rather frustrating though.
The art style is simple and that's excellent - black and white doodle aesthetics ftw. Great entry.
Like many others, this took me back to the flash games of the 2000s! I didn't realize how much I missed those brainteasers until I played this. Thank you for the memories and the fun!
Wooooo 1%! I know several comments already said this, but this game really gave me Impossible Quiz flashbacks. I was even counting the questions just to make sure there wasn't a question later that asked me what question number we were on haha. I think I played for a solid hour before finishing. Good job making this! Whatstherules.JPG
There were a few levels that I figured out how to get past without actually understanding why it was the answer (like the level with an assortment of internet related + road + spiderweb items arranged in a circle), but I just memorized what I clicked before to get past. As for the basketball level, it seems like you were making it so that the top half of the screen was unclickable to prevent players from dragging the basketball to the hoop? In case this was unintentional, I wanted to mention that if you throw the basketball towards the top right corner and then click it again you can drag it into the hoop to pass without having to aim your shot as much.
Fond memories of flash games of olden times. Some of the minigames were really nice and the difficulty ramp-up from the beginning is well executed! The minimal music fits the aesthetic well and adds to the experience. Check below for a spoiler'd thoughts of each for as far as I got:
!> - **power:** great introduction to the game, symbolic as well !> - **heart:** good ramp up while keeping it simple !> - **lightbulb:** love the visual design of this one, also a good ramp up having to do different things !> - **plane:** first quick paced one, just enough time for me to react so well timed for me !> - **balloons:** the first balloons fly out a bit too fast for me (still picking up the thumb tack), also not sure if by design but if you let go of the tack you can't pick it back up !> - **vegetables:** great puzzle, got it on my second try, perfect breather from time sensitive things on later playthroughs !> - **basketball:** love the concept but the physics are a bit wonky for me, I managed to beat it only by cheating and dragging the ball !> - **watch:** first I tried to wait for the timeout, then realized the solution, very Impossible Game -esque, love it! !> - **bee:** neat arrangement puzzle, got the solution on my first attempt, very natural order of things !> - **hourglass:** this was the timeout one then, glad my guess was validated in a later level :D !> - **owl:** I love this one! not sure what it is but the way you drag it out of screen is so cool to me !> - **maze:** another classic subversion of the problem, my only issue is that the mouse is so loud it breaks my ears !> - **animals:** took a bit of thinking but a very solid puzzle, nice to execute afterwards !> - **www:** couldn't solve this one :( !> !> Also I can't believe I got rickrolled by a game description, gg :D
I had some trouble selecting and dragging the items to where it needed to be sometimes, and I think it was a potential collider issue. Otherwise, I enjoyed learning what to do for each game level, and the puzzles weren't too hard. Great job making this!
nice "wario ware " like :)
just one note : "the pin and the ballon" not easy to understand how to play that one. drag the pin was not intuitive. esle great game ;)
➕ many interesting ideas
➕ cool graphics
➖ many skill-demanding minigames
➖ kinda difficult
Fun game, I like the interpretation of the theme and the art. The airplane minigame was a big jump in difficulty.
