This was an awesome game, I really enjoyed everything about it! Only thing I would change was make the attack hitbox bigger as every has said so far. I really enjoyed crushing the wizards "balls" ;)

Pretty funny game. Loved the narrator too. My only gripes are that you seem like you can interact with the Huns directly, but you can't, and it prevents you from picking up cups near the hun, but that may be because the hun is causing you trouble or something heh. Also looks like cleaning the toiled and vomit wasn't too necessary when playing, but I had a great time :)
Loved everything in the game! I can't believe how much you put into it that quickly. All the chaos unfolding was hilarious :)
I love the graphics and the atmosphere of the game is amazing :) Would have been nice though for it to be easier to differentiate what the soldiers names are.
I really liked the mechanic, although at first I thought it was bugged, that I wasn't supposed to be seeing the white tiles at the start of the game. I thought at first that having the invisible tiles become invisible again would be nice and atmospheric, but I prefer the mechanic that damages tiles as you echolocate. Sadly I did get softlocked at the "Every time I try to see, a star falls down" level, when I jumped into the last flame.
smh what a buggy mess of a game hehe. I loved the concept and progression of unlocking launch options, overall it was a blast to play!
This was pretty unique, I had a wonderful time playing it!
Well I got all the reactions except the first one and the ones that needed double blues. I couldn't figure out how to get the temp down so I added a load of blue ones in and decided, yeah, let's add one green and red in there to see if the second reaction help cool it down a "little" bit. Bang. Very interesting game :)
Ahh I love the synthwave theme, it hit a good spot! Only thing I would complain about is the Russian Roulette effect. Playing the first two levels, I thought I just randomly started dying. I though maybe the reactor is being destroyed, I didn't figure out the white bar is the reactor health, might be good to label it btw, but on the second level I didn't see any one damaging the reactor or leaving through the stage so I figured the game was bugged or something. Then on level 3 I noticed the russian roulette effect and sure enough, tried shooting and hurt myself. So, since that's such a dangerous effect, it might be good to highlight it a little, and maybe make it last shorter since taking that long can really mess you up. But otherwise, I loved it!
Great game! I love the upgrade based progression, really reminds me of some great flash games from my childhood. And a mobile release sounds great :)
I see some people mentioned floor 9 bugging out, I got through floor 9, but floor 10 is just massively spawning lasers with no enemies endlessly for me, so I couldn't get all the upgrades. Also, I couldn't get the granade launcher to work, looks like I never had any grenades on hand.
Holy crap. This was absolutely amazing! I really didn't see any of this coming. And it's all so high quality too! It's a mastahpiece! 5/5
Great game! I don't think I'm getting accepted into the wizard construction team based on the durability of my tower.
@thatanonoword Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I didn't really think about people who don't know much about sysadmin work, especially the drives, I gave them serial names - 0BCdf12_ISS1/2, but I should have just called them drive 1 or drive 2, I'm betting this confused a lot of people. And probably shouldn't have bothered with different manufactures.
@wyl-team Yeah you are definitely right. The tutorial was pretty much the last thing I did, I wanted to write down more stuff like, you can order hardware and more details about the raid repairs, but I ran out of space on the monitor sprite, and didn't have more time to implement something like another page.
@teenythanos Yeah, I've seen that happen with a few other downloadable games :/ I'm not too sure how to mitigate it.
@anark0b3n Heheh glad to hear it's "realistic" enough. I don't have direct experience with onsite system administrators but I do work with them remotely, so this is a bit of how I imagined their jobs at first hehe.
Thanks for playing it on stream @simpathey! I'm thinking of making a bit of a bigger build where you're introduced to more and more computers and more tasks over time, with some story. I'm kind of getting Papers Please kind of vibes of it when I think about it. If I do end up doing it, I'll improve the UI and explain things a bit better, and polish things up like the fullscreen issue.
The main mechanic reminds me of stasis in breath of the wild. Loved it!
I love the atmosphere of the game! It was short and sweet :)
I managed to get 50 as my high score, I think that's greedy enough :)
Wow, the game's awesome, it's great that the mechanics are introduced to the player over time, although at the start I thought the game was bugged and that the others weren't showing up. Especially since I thought the heat was supposed to be full and the core exploded, made me think I was supposed to be managing buttons that weren't there. But once I figured it out it was great! Managed to survive for 151 seconds.
Great game! Directing which way you're shooting seemed a bit unintuitive at first, but at least that makes it true to the theme :)
Great game! I think some way to skip daytime when you're done with your constructions would be neat as well. Totally forgot you could rotate buildings, making towers using the anchored steel pipes ended up being real sturdy! I'm not too sure the anchored bits are any more expensive though.
Man, when I thought about the situation of the protagonist, it felt terrifying. With no place to call home, you put your hope in your spaceship, trusting that it will take you to a place you can start fresh, but you wake up not in a paradise, but this cold flying spaceship that's falling apart, and no-one here can help you out. You go around trying to fix everything, but eventually sirens start blaring and you realize there really is no hope for you. Congrats on your first Jam :)
This was fun to play and kinda tough, but I loved it! I did get softlooked on the (I think) last level since I couldn't jump up to the button, or out of the hole and I didn't destroy the wall to the left first.
Great game, I really love games with this kind of terrifying atmosphere, and mental health instability was a great use of the theme!
This was awesome! I'd actually love to see something like a steam release of a game like this. Or I'd hate it (in a good way), because it was challenging as hell. The other levels were relatively easy but 1-2 and 1-5, hoo boy. At first I thought the controls weren't all too...controllable, but I have to take that back now as by 1-5 I could pretty much control myself exactly the way I wanted to. My only complaints may be that it's a bit tough to tell where the hitbox is, I thought it was the shadow until the final level, but figuring out it's the middle pixel of the player (I think at least) was surprising. Also, loved the unstable effects you get when you're hurt, although I think brain scorcher is pretty much an instant lose since you don't really get a warning or anything before your controls invert.
Wow, the game is real fun. Took a second to get a hang of the controls, but they're real smooth once you get the hang of them. Due to a certain post (https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/49/piles-pile-it-up/up-to-25eur-amazon-gift-cards-for-speed-run-champions) by a certain someone, involving speedruns, I think I'll be trying to lower my time from 52:97 further and further over the next two weeks :)
Great game, very reminiscent of the good ol' impossible quiz!
@matt-ravenhall Whoops, yeah it was stuck as a draft, I've published it. Thanks for letting me know!
I had a great time, I especially loved the finale with the flag chasing you down!
Great game, it was lots of fun, the visuals were great and the unexpected twist of difficulty was very interesting! I managed to get 161 :)
I feel like some tower variety and an easier way to move around would have been great, but otherwise it's a great game.
Great game, the pacing did feel a bit slow, especially the second level, I feel like only needing one turn instead of 3 would have been enough to demonstrate the ability.
It's a nice game, although like other people said, it would be nice if the summons were a bit more active, if they followed you around and focused on enemies a bit more, it did feel a bit needless to summon the mosters. A difficulty spike as you reach new levels would have been nice as well.
Cute and fun game! The only criticism I'd have is that, your time survived does not show up after you die, and given how much you need to run and collect graves, the E key can be a bit awkward to pick up a lot of graves while moving.
I've had a lot of fun playing this, the art's funny and very well made!
Thanks all for playing the game!
@frederikja163 We initially planned to let the player have branching upgrades for each individual minion, but we quickly gave up on it since we didn't have nearly enough time to play around with that. And we did initially think of letting the Necromancer heal on kills, but we opted for a chance to summon fallen enemies as minions. I do think most people might not even realize that's an actual feature considering it's not mentioned anywhere, and on my test run it took me 40 kills to even get one.
@lisek-gagatek Yeah the archers do shoot arrows, but your summons can sponge them up. We might have been better off making them a bit bigger, and making a visual indicator for when damage was inflicted to make things more obvious.
Great game! I wish it was slightly more faster paced, but I've had a lot of fun with it!
I love the Papers Please take on the summoning theme! It was close, by I managed to get my vacation. It took me a bit to realize I'm looking for the most correct items, I've had a few cases where all items themselves were attributed to a summon, but I didn't think about the pentagram, and thought the chanting was a "mistake". Great game!
Awesome game, it's been my favorite so far! I almost made it in my first attempt. I just wish there was some sort of indicator of your health, as far as I understand it's hidden, while the tower health bar is your charge bar for the electrons.
Also, what a creepy atmosphere, I love it :)
Well I certainly didn't expect to see a rhythm game with this theme! I loved it. This is definitely the type of game I'd love to see end up on steam post-jam, once there's more rituals and content.
Age of War meant a lot to me in the good ol' flash days. And I have to say this game means a lot to me in this jam as well! I didn't expect I'd be using the lightning power considering how pricy it was to unlock, but it ended up being my key to victory. It got real close at one point, having a whole armada of slimes hitting my base while I had nothing, but I managed to pull through with a solar flare.
Great game, very original considering the theme! I've had lots of fun with it. I just wish the fact that abilities were unlocked was more obvious in-game.
Congrats on your first submission! It's a great game, I just feel like the secret rooms could have offered more rewards, I didn't see a clear indicator of when I could summon a monster and when not, your summons look identical to enemies so it's a bit difficult to tell them apart, and you can't move through your summons so I had a moment where I blocked my way with a skeleton that had a stalemate with 2 other skeletons and couldn't get past them. I ended up summoning a slime that slid under them though. Also, there's no "end" screen when beating the last boss. That feels like I'm only complaining, but I had a great time playing the game!
Great game! I love how the teleport also puts you at great risk and punishes you for being too greedy. The in-game control screen did fly by a bit too quick so I feel like some folks might not read it in its entirety, including me :P
Great and satisfying game! My only complaints are that the squares often got stuck on walls, and overall the squares, or maybe the player, felt a bit too small.
