LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Grammar Dystopia by Xarras 2017-12-05T12:32:13Z

I absoloutly loved that game. Good to play after the first round and extremly funny. Liked the mixture of real-life material and your drawing. Would love to play some more levels. The only thing is, that it could get more complicated over time, the last two interactions were just too easy!

Po liked pep gapo!

Mayfly by silkworm_sweatshop 2017-12-11T11:17:15Z

I really liked the story and the minimalistic design, but as already mentioned, i was kinda bummed out when my choices didn't have the "right" impact (like doing the opposite). But due to the time limitation, it's really understandable. I enjoyed playing this game!

Quest for Harmony (Audio is required) by unfinished 2017-12-05T11:58:27Z

First of all: After the start (i actually didn't know if the game started or not) and after i found the first companion, this game actually was fun. I do like the idea of the "fighting"system (even though i dont understand how you can lose, i actually tried to unbalance the group but it didn't work). I also like the idea of the speaking health-meter. But a lot of "functions" should have been explained beforehand. For example the Yes/No System or that you can go further after you got attacked. But over all, it was quite fun to play!

Not Mush-Room Left by Valmay 2017-12-11T12:55:43Z

I really enjoyed the artstyle of this game. The music should change (at least in speed) when the mushrooms get annoyed. Would match the changing mood on the board. Also, i thought the game was a little bit too easy. Overall a really fun game to play!

The Terry Pebble Show - An Awful Day Time TV Simulator by Poffle 2017-12-11T14:17:08Z

Liked the idea of using a Show as a game setup. As already mentioned, it was more a movie than a game. I actually would've preferred that you actually didnt mentioned the theme of Ludum Dare at all in the game, just felt a little forced. The stories themselves would have given the theme quite enough, I think. But the graphics and the audio were awesome!

Keep Away by felixsoum 2017-12-11T12:15:08Z

Obviously i do like the cute theme and the cats. I didn't like the "hitboxes" of the cats ( sometimes i thought that they broke the vases before touching them). Also, I find it unfourtunate when the cats actually spawned in my vase. But overall its a cute game!

Zealot by fasterthanlime 2017-12-05T15:52:17Z

After understanding the mechanism of the monk and the archers, it became quite addictive! Loved the artwork!

Bunnyfication by dekart 2017-12-05T12:18:08Z

I really do like this game. After i figured out how to fulfill the quest, it was a relaxing game to play. Didn't get though, why the game ended. Too many muscle bunnies! But the Bunnies were cute and funny to watch. The theme was also nicely implemented!

Keep going... you have my interest by Zebraltar 2017-12-11T11:36:16Z

I really did like the style and the music, but as already mentioned, the inventory system could be more approachable. Also, i kinda missed an indicator for interactable objects. Nonetheless fun to play!

[Web] Bunion by eldogg 2017-12-05T11:35:42Z

Liked the monster and the cute little tofus. But how did you try to implemate the Theme? I had the feeling it gets easier to feed my monster instead of harder! :)

The Fabulous Orchestra Of Mister Vincent by Drunkain 2017-12-11T11:50:55Z

I actually like the spin on the theme, and i did like the graphics. Fun Orchestra! But as already mentioned, i would“ve liked to have a "real" song instead of too many sounds at all. Sometimes it sounded "better" when i missed some notes!

The Greedy by taran.unraveler 2017-12-05T15:00:00Z

Congratulations on your first own game :D. I actually enjoyed playing this game, mostly to my fancy sidekick! You could improve your (next?) game by adding some music and sound effects, also you could try to alter the environment around the character(by using different textures/"places" - little changes which improve the overall fun!

Ned's Needs by sundaefactory 2017-12-05T11:22:47Z

Died in the elevator - My body got shoved out of it in the next level. Like!. Overall, the idea is great, but the controls are (at least for me) a little bit counter-intuitive. Tried to klick the objects first before i used the button, the change in the button was a little bit too small for me. Also, i would love to have a little backround music. But overall, i really did like it!

Mortal Komba by kokirisandfriends 2017-12-05T10:32:39Z

I really do love this game! The artwork is great. I just have the feeling the "bird"character is too easy compared to the others, just because he can fly all the time! Its challeging, but fun!

LD42 — Running out of space

Taco Time by thedragonllama 2018-08-16T20:14:23Z

Poor little corn cob! Really liked the style of the game - but the first row was just totally visible when I played on full window mode - In the windowed version it disappeared a little but. But it was a fun game after all!

Tetromino Ghost Smasher by AlceX 2018-08-16T18:35:01Z

Even though it“s unfinished, I actually played a few rounds and had fun. I really liked the retro feeling (with the characters from Pacman and the Tetris-weapon!

Naga by AndrewBallinger 2018-08-16T19:31:19Z

I played a few rounds and I liked the "snake"-Vibe your game has. Personally, I truly believe that anyone wants to make WAY more Features in their game, but as you already mentioned, its super hard to implement just the basics in two days. So keep it up! Next time you will implement more! :)

Shrinking Watercity by DeathStorm 2018-08-16T19:00:34Z

I really like the idea, that you can build on top of other things, also the graphics are pretty nice. With a little more time (and some time for balancing!) this will be a pretty nice game. Good work!

Shredder-Boy by ShaggyFox 2018-08-16T17:58:25Z

I loved the art style, reminded me of the old point and klick adventures!

Slime Party by DeoVolente 2018-08-16T20:03:56Z

I liked the idea, that you cant "control" the blobs directly, but to throw them around and see what they do. Next time, I you could finish the level after some time - I lost all my blobs but the red ones where gone as well and the new spawned blobs didn“t hit the floor anymore. So it was loop! But nice idea overall!

Relocation by Sephyre 2018-08-16T18:53:14Z

"You failed your task - You disappointed many people" I feel this guy! After I tried to use the WASD as movement (which confused me totally, cause it did something but not the proper movement) it was a pretty fun game!

Super Overachiever 42000 Deluxe by suve 2018-08-16T18:24:53Z

Apart from the (already mentioned) jumping - The interpretation of the theme was great! I hated this poor little man for his achievements!

LD45 — Start with nothing

The drop to the top by jk5000 2019-10-11T17:40:46Z

Thank god I have friends. Unfortunately, friends are tiny little cheaters who win by pushing a block against the wall so it wont fall down :| Nice game though!

Baby steps by freso 2019-10-11T17:28:39Z

Well, well, well. Nice fun game. I would add though, that its hard to see if spiders are spawning behind those trees, therefore killing the poor innocent child! R.I.P Billy

Tart with nothing by flynn 2019-10-11T18:41:18Z

Its really fun to see another bakery-themed-game. It was really fun to play and I did like the music!

S͟t͟a͟r͟t͟ With Nothing by Coldsanwdich189 2019-10-11T18:24:27Z

I actually laughed out loud. Really good game. It was really fun to play. But some music would have made the game even better!

Beyond the Veil by Wolfrug 2019-10-11T19:33:02Z

Really nice game. I was into the story from the beginning. The hit-boxes at the endfight were a little bit off, but it was great to play!

Post mortem - last 30 sec life's memories by PabloTitan 2019-10-11T19:43:04Z

...then everything changed when the fire nation....i mean the car accident happened. Even though i just could get bad memories, the mood of the game was quite amazing. Nice work.

A Fishermans Friendly Island Builder by Lombax 2019-10-11T17:50:32Z

The idea reminds me of an old mario party game where you had to fish chests and peals. It was a little bit frustrating to fish for the stuff, because they where so small. But I liked the idea that you couldn't build the island to the items, so you cant make it easier.

Joe The Crafter by Benjo Games 2019-10-11T16:39:27Z

I did like the crafting system. Overall the idea is quite nice. With a few adjustments, that you already mentioned, this can be a fun game!

Who am I? by Space Nomad 2019-10-11T18:02:09Z

The concept is great, till now i haven't seen a bullet-hell kind of game. But the game should give an indicator where the last orbs are, because the last ones are really hard to find. Of the windowed mode of the game just cuts off a lot of the gamespace.

Chef Butch's Diner by Nick_UI 2019-10-11T19:02:29Z

I would love to have the poster now! Nice Game, even tough i would love to have different endings!

Pile of Corpses by TORT60091 2019-10-11T16:31:18Z

Good game. The controls are done quite nice. Keep up the good work!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Our World by SelfTitled 2020-04-26T12:24:02Z

I“m in love with the dragon. It“s sad that i just killed it! :D

Efi by ludipe 2020-04-26T14:29:19Z

I really liked the overall style of the game, and the birds were super cute! As already mentioned, the controls were kinda funky - altough it was managable, since you just had to redo the one area. I liked it!

not quite home by daniel 2020-04-26T14:55:01Z

Nice, calming game. Tried to set myself on fire. Sadly it didn“t work! ;D. The game feels like a well needed rest!

Grove by doodlebrisk 2020-04-26T12:37:40Z

Nice little game! Thanks for reminding me of my poor real-life plant watering skills!

Tracer by ctrble 2020-04-26T15:40:12Z

Absolutely love that game. Hard mode makes me mad, but i actually want to restart it every time after I crash. Smashing game!

Root Quest by thebreakfast 2020-04-26T12:57:29Z

Really liked the combinations of the two different parts. The platforming part could be greatly improved by tewaking the controlls. Never tought being a root could be so much fun!

Strazy Dazy by B. Golda 2020-04-26T14:34:58Z

Since I like rythm-games, i enjoyed this game as well! The only downside was that the keys were not in sync with the music - although i don't know if what was intentionally or not. Also, another set of input (like qwer /wert or something) would have been an extra nice feature. Overall great game!

Title: Help!? by Jarithius 2020-04-26T15:09:41Z

This dude seems to be really funny ("When will the suffering end?") and on the other hand totally stupid - who would walk into such dangerous situations in full speed? ;). Nice game - even tough the clicks sometimes seem to be a little bit wonky.

LD 46 - Guinea Pug by Notredamstra 2020-04-26T12:48:01Z

I actually laughed out loud while reading that story! Poor little doggo. Really loved the concept and the style. But (as already mentioned) the random level design was kinda hard and it became more or less luck based. I could see myself playing that on my phone with some fixes in the future!

Survivalgo by despdair2 2020-04-26T13:18:49Z

I really like the Idea, similar to some coding-games. If you want to use that to teach algorithm to children, i would like to just "erase" one step instead of all the "code". Also, the arrows could be confusing for children. Really liked the calm music!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Secret Floors by Quetzakol 2021-05-02T13:03:17Z

I really did like this game! Loved the "hidden floor numbers" that you aren’t suppose to enter. The humour was superb. The only thing which made me "mad" was, that the phone messages were the other way around, it would have made more sense to have the unknown person be red and you would answer in blue. Other than that - awesome game!

Adelie - Rolling in the Deep by Meep 2021-05-02T11:28:05Z

I really like the whole package for a compo entry. Really liked the style and the sound effects (even though I kinda wanted to hear an 8-bit version of Adele’s Rolling in the Deep ;) ) What made this a little bit frustrating though was the movement. I kept yelling "IĀ“AM A PINGUIN, I AM A PREDATOR, I SHOULD SMASH THESE FISH". But I am not patience :D. But it does get easier after some power ups - Overall great game!

Coffin Drop by upcharlie 2021-05-02T11:54:47Z

That’s why I want to get cremated and get an urn - itĀ“s a way better pinball! ;) . Sometimes I couldn’t see the ball due to the shadow on the left. Also, sometimes the coffin got stuck on the boss, but since you made these bumpers in the background, you just had to wait. Nice Game!

Deeper Sleep Beta by Kszaku 2021-05-02T13:58:55Z

Well, that was one great experience! I really do like the retro-style theme. The switch between "oh that is a fun experiment" to "well...it’s going down from here" was executed beautifully. WouldĀ“ve loved to play an ever longer version! If you want to be picky, I would have loved the "success" sound do get broken as well, that would have been the cherry on top. But nicely done!

Deep Dive Drive 2000 by Dane Tesla 2021-05-02T10:55:59Z

I really dig the ~aesthetics~ of the game. The whole mood was superb. Even tough I really liked the idea to troll my "uncle", I would have loved to have an logic behind the answers. When the time runs out, you could just click randomly and still "win". Great game though!

Halt by Teto 2021-05-14T10:43:50Z

That betrayal at the end! Did like the game and there was a good progression between the levels. Nice backround music would make the game even better (But, as you wrote, the whole audio thing was new to you guys). On another note, since you wrote that your last game in LD47 "failed" - this whole thing should be about learning and having a good time. And your game gave me a good time. So please have fun!

Beyond the Canyon by Dante2001 2021-05-02T11:13:08Z

Thanks for making me sad! I really like the story arc and battling with the idea of regret. It“s a nice piece of art for a three day project! Did enjoy it!

Deep Dream by Stone Studio 2021-05-02T13:41:17Z

I really like the twist on the theme. Doesn“t seem to be your "standard idea". Quite like that! The art style was great. Would have loved to play more levels. If you want to be picky, you could have just shown the windows/monitors that you have to use in that particular level. But thats just give some improvement feedback! Great game!

That Sinking Feeling by MorePixels 2021-05-02T13:30:16Z

Really did enjoy the art and the mood. But the overall goal of the game was kind of confusing. I would have loved if the fish was animated as well. But the art style was unique and great!

LD49 — Unstable

You won't believe your result from this personality test! by allthebees 2021-10-13T21:47:38Z

I don“t like to live in the moment anymore. Really love the style of humor. Also I strongly disagree with 147.

Sky Burns Red by nardandas 2021-10-08T21:38:42Z

THE SKY BURNS RED! THE SKY BURNS RED! Actually, this is the best game I“ve played so far. Awesome music, awesome twist on the theme, awesome innovative mechanics. Kudos! Friggin“ love it.

Picasso Bridge Disaster by TheWustache 2021-10-07T21:01:07Z

I really did enjoy myself. Did like the twist, that you have to use blue and red strokes to combine into a joint! Once, the physics did a huge oopsie, but i found it more funny that way!

Å®NSTƅBLĒ by Dominium11 2021-10-08T20:33:28Z

I really did like this game. It was fun to play and i like the reference to Ikea. The only thing that bothers me was that some Furniture had real "Names" from Ikea, and some didn't lol. But that's just me and did not influence anything on the vote! Great game!

Away by Martynas 2021-10-10T20:15:25Z

Headbutt.png

Got stuck in the wall once, so its not that good to use your head for everything! The atmosphere was nice, and the idea seemed pretty great.

Tower of Thoughts by Erukolindo 2021-10-08T22:21:47Z

I really like the concept overall, but sometimes you could cheat if two letters were stuck together, so that you can stand on one of them and push the other up - like an elevator. The concept was great and i really did like the creature. Great game!

Island in collapse by xiyou 2021-10-08T22:05:11Z

I really did like the spin on tetris, liked the artstyle and the animations. I found it hard to place the tertis-tiles though. Would have loved to use the actual arrow keys to do that. At some point is was just button smashing to find the right key :D Overall a great game!

The Automation Department by Camden Cecrle 2021-10-08T21:13:25Z

The design was superb! As already mentioned, the paper stamp was quite hard, it was in the playruns the first task to automate. Sadly I didn“t quite geht the theme - unstable here. Could you possibly explain in what way your game played with that theme? Many thanks in advance!

Atomic Rock Paper Scissors by lucasvb 2021-10-07T22:41:47Z

I really like the idea to take the classical game of rock-paper-scissors and add a twist. The graphic was great! I hope you are proud of your game!

Unstable Ground by Squeg Inc. 2021-10-08T16:59:44Z

Really did like the design and the idea, sadly in the purple level (with the moving "stars" I sometimes fell trough the platforms, which was pretty frustrating, since this wasn't supposed to be a feature (I guess?. But overall a nice game, even though I yelled at it :D

Wobbly Penguins by bqq 2021-10-13T21:45:19Z

Yo, what the hell. 10/10

Egg Racer by Exmxpx 2021-10-08T22:46:34Z

Great Game, but as mentioned, the egg should have stayed in the pan while turning. Also I dont know if it was intended, but you could "throw" the egg into the fire and still technically win (but it should have shattered). Lives the Dinosaur!

GLITCH by Yotamco 2021-10-08T21:52:41Z

Like in real life: Instead of jumping I just fart :( Really did enjoy this game, like the minimalistic art style and the changing controls. Overall a solid game!

Angular momentum by VicoPTP 2021-10-08T22:39:06Z

I really like the spin on the balancing game, but it took me some time to figure out how to move the boxes without letting them go crazy. Overall nice idea!

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Dancing Trees by Ixio 2022-04-05T16:17:04Z

Great game, I did like the music alot.

For me it was a little confusing how the fire spawned - on the left side of the window the fire spawned exactly at my cursor, the more right you go, the more right does the fire spawned. It would also be nice to just spawn the fire instead of suppressing the fire-button. But thats makes the game more "inevitable", so it's fitting the theme.

Great Job!

ileftbehind.me by thevinter 2022-04-05T14:12:27Z

Ah yes, my favourite genre: existential dread.

The only thing i would criticize is that the typing sound doesn't fit the deletion of the text, and the text could get deleted as a whole block.

Now I need to go outside. Thanks for that!

Click to Continue by Daniel Foutz 2022-04-05T08:44:16Z

I have friends, i definitely have friends!

Actually saved your URL, cause I played the game while we were finishing ours and I couldn't vote for yours at that point. So I really did like yours. Loved the humour and the overall presentation. Your voice acting was on point.

Felt bad for the moderator, but *shrug 10/10, would kill bisquit again.

RIITA by wobs 2022-04-05T16:37:47Z

Thats a nice game you created! I really love rhythm games so I did enjoy your game. The artwork ist stunning and I really dig the character styles.

If you want to be picky - you could argue that putting the strings on the keyboard (FGHJK) instead of the numbers (1 to 0) would have been easier to play. At least for me it would have been easier to play.

But overall a really fun game that i enjoyed !

(#TeamEternalNight)

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Tentris by bentglasstube 2022-10-09T14:28:02Z

It was a really nice variation on tetris, and i really did like the music. Even though i struggled on the lusty mode, i hate a good time playing your game! (I am not very good at playing tetris). Nice job!

You're Furnished! The 10-Second Movers by Xenith 2022-10-13T16:33:19Z

Lessons I“ve learned: I shouldn“t work in the moving business. Great game with a lot a good idea for the theme. The 10 seconds did make sense in the universe of the game.

Drunk Wizard by Nbrowning5 2022-10-13T16:27:14Z

First thought: Oh, a simple survival game. Second thought: What the fuck. I really did like the humour of it. Nice Game!

Bless the Last Ones by Demigiant 2022-10-09T14:47:27Z

Really nice experience. Loved the replay value of the game and the little additions each time you play it again! Even tough, nobody should have the power to get people naked and make them fall in love :D

ScramBumble by robeecodes 2022-10-13T16:21:11Z

Save the bees! It was a fun little game, which would be even better with music. I would also let the event for the rain to end properly, i get the idea (10 seconds), but I would just let them flown out of the window instead of just letting them disappear after 10 seconds.

ScramBumble by robeecodes 2022-10-14T08:42:02Z

@robeecodes Since I usally play around with different programs to create the audio for the games, I can just highly encourage you to do the same - if you like the idea of creating your own music of course!

I really like to create, sample and loop sounds to create the music I want to have - you could also use programs like "music maker" to easily put these sounds togehter. These programs usally have other features to play around with as well, so you can easily create a unique song without using the templates or their samples.

If you dont have the time (or the ear :D ) to do that, i would look for "CC0 Music", f.e. https://opengameart.org/content/cc0-music-0

If you use music you didnt create, you should opt out on the audio rating, of course. But I believe that even if you dont get ratings in that area, the other ratings will still improve - because your game feels more "finished".

Hope that helps you!

It was a really nice game! You could argue about how much of a real "harverst" there was, but overall it was fun!

One small note (from a non-game designer, do idk what I“m actually talking about) but: it“s really easy to overlook the bomb-growing area. Since you also put 5 "Suns" next to the canon and I didn“t see the plants growing the bombs, i was struggling on how to activate the canon. I was actually on the verge of writing you before giving my vote, but then i went back and found it. But overall that was fun.

I really did like the progression of the game and the introduction of the new vegetables. The Art was cute and on point. The loop of the music could have been longer, so that you can“t hear the looping.

Overall a pretty nice and solid puzzler!

Great job!

A really nice game you created there. Did play it till the end and it“s one of the games I actually would play again.

Of course, since its a game jam, you could argue hat it was a little bit too easy (I didn“t die even when I tried to) and i would like to move the menu out of the field when I“m playing (its hard to see your character when you are there) Also, I would like see different items, but thats not what im putting in my consideration for the vote.

Overall, a really funny and great game!

Crop Drop by Heho 2023-01-09T22:15:59Z

I really did like the tetris-stlye mechanic of the game!

Just one little bug:

122323.png I am still counting that as a win

The music was calm and fitting.

Overall a fun little game!

Harvest Stone by Kongo 2023-01-10T11:17:29Z

Great game! As already mentioned, any indication that you can leave your first farm area would be great!

The voiceover was hilarious and the humor was really good.

And I am verry happy that I could fulfill my sons dream in the game...

Children of the Combine by MilkWine 2023-01-09T21:52:19Z

That the actual fuck of a feverdream did I just play? Like…IĀ“m still laughing about the absurdity of that game.

Its awesome!

I really did like the mixture of the different artstyles and the absurdity of it all. One small note: there are areas in your ā€œboards/areasā€ (I guess it was the second one), where there is a shadow area where the people could hide, that was a little bit counterintuitive to find.

But overall, a really funny game.

Wandering Crops by FionaSprinkles 2023-01-10T14:45:14Z

Congratulations on your first jam game!

The graphics are pretty cute and the overall idea is great! As already mentioned, some music would be nice to make the game even rounder.

Also, for your (hopefully) next game, you could try to add the instructions into the game, I actually opened two windows, one for the game itself and one for the instructions.

But hey, it“s a nice game and it“s great game for the first one you submitted!

Greenfinger! by TomasPraestholm 2023-01-09T21:36:15Z

At least got third place after a few rounds and about ~4000 points in all the songs! Thats enough!

The artwork is awesome, the music is majestic and the puns are really punny. So great job!

If i want to be picky, I kinda had the feeling that the beat of the song wasn“t aligned to the pattern I had to click. But that could be me! Also, it would be nice to be able to save in the game, so that it remembers that you unlocked the rythm mode as well as your current highscores.

But since the jam is just three days long, thats just a small point!

A Conversation With A Stranger by Adam Burt 2023-01-10T10:32:33Z

*"Ideas in your head are the only ever truly perfect things. Once you make them real, they cease to be perfect"*

*"You find yourself wishing, although wishes are for children."*

Since english is not my first language, I“m pretty impressed with the writing.

The story could have felt "moodier" if you had added some music, even if you didn“t make it yourself (but thats just a note without any consideration on the story or the voting itself)

But I really did like the story and actually played it twice to get different endings.

So a salute to you and your writing and world-building skills!

LD53 — Delivery

Deliver or Die by Imphenzia 2023-05-01T23:49:27Z

Bus1.jpg

Apparently I'm so popular, that everybody is following me ;D Got shot anyways.

It would be a nice additon to increase the speed after some time, but that would make your game even harder!

Also, thanks for helping me animate my first character for this jam. Well, your tutorials did, so kinda did it.

Dough or Die by gold.daniel 2023-05-15T17:23:22Z

Haha, it so stupid, I love it! Really do like the humor and the artstyle.

Like you mentioned on your itch.io page, it is really hard to beat. The controlls were a little but unpredictable.

But overall, nice and fun game!

The Delivery by Ace17 2023-05-15T16:49:58Z

It“s nice to see games that use the "delivery" just as a setup for their own story. The graphics were really good and the whole game felt moody.

As others already pointed out, the ending was a little but abrupt, but overall is this a nice entry!

Ash & Phoenix by Honey Pony 2023-05-15T17:07:24Z

Aww, I did not expected to get sad in a game like that!

Its a really good game that just feels complete. The music, the audio effects, it was nice. The only thing I would change is the symbol for the abbreviation of words, mainly because I usually don't use that in my native language and i needed half the game to find that key on my keyboard! Overall, nice game!

HUEBER by Wrong Timeline 2023-05-15T16:39:19Z

I really liked the idea of a strategy based game!

The only thing I would improve is the UI. Sometimes, when the zones collide, its really hard to delete the right zone or line. Also, I would have liked to get more visual/audio feedback when i reached the maximum on the zones/lines.

Overall, it was a fun game to deliver color to the people!

Aqua Mama Drama by aqua mama 2023-05-15T16:45:36Z

I really do love the idea of the game, and the "simple" mechanic was great to start the game right off. With some music and a few soundeffects, the game would be even more fun. Also, its always a good idea to give a "scoreboard", so people can compare their run to each other - at least i wanted to play it again and again just to be in the top 10 %!

LD54 — Limited Space

(Un)limited Space by MateusGauto 2023-10-15T13:50:22Z

Really nice escape-room-style-game, sadly it“s a little bit buggy. Just solved on the the puzzles trough clicking wildly.

But I liked the idea overall and enjoyed it!

Get Off My Seat! by beats 2023-10-15T14:43:40Z

Fun, little game with a simple, yet fun gameloop. But i would liked to have a longer audio-loop, since you can hear the cut in the music. But you did make the game alone and in limited time, so thats understandable!

jjjjjjj.PNG

This Bed Ain't Big Enough For the Both of Us by Japayne 2023-10-15T13:52:38Z

I really like the idea of the game and the simplicity of it. But I would like to have a longer audio-loop, since you hear the loop itself. But you already mentioned, that the song was implemented "last second", so its super understandable!

Great game!

Mad Dash Moving Inc. by Lone_Wolf 2023-10-15T11:16:32Z

Haha, i crashed the game in my first run when I was tryring to sneak a piece in a spot where it shouldn“t belong! Its a really nice tetris-style game.

Personally, I would like to have a longer music-loop, since i felt that i actually hear where it loops.

Overall, nice game!

Shop 'n Block by Franci 2023-10-15T11:36:00Z

Like the others already mentioned, the gameloop it self was quite confusing, since I did not know when customers actually buy stuff.

But the vibe and artwork you created was really nice!

FROUST! by Kupnu4 2023-10-15T11:43:49Z

It“s a really nice and well edited entry with great music. Even though the concept itself is simple, you managed to make this game quite addicting!

Great job!

BEEmaze (test name) by ViruK 2023-10-15T12:35:31Z

Sometimes the bee got stuck at the walls and I could glitch through the wall at some points.

Did manage to escape the maze und got my bee back into freedom!

Overall, a game that could be polished with some more time!

Claustrorush by Neon Kuroasa 2023-10-15T12:49:05Z

Really like the concept, the art and the music. Reminds me of the old game "Icy Tower" somehow, which war a really nice addicting game.

The only thing i would "criticize" is that sometimes the (randomly generated?) platforms are a little bit to hard to jump to. But that could just be a skill issue.

Overall, gerat game!

Kill Circles by Rehdev 2023-10-15T15:10:36Z

To be honst, the first minute I thought the game would be kind of slow, but after getting the first upgrades it started to get really funny! I do like the simplicity of the game and the simple gameloop, which still was super fun!

Good game!

LD55 — Summoning

Re5ummon Me! by jerrre 2024-04-27T19:07:10Z

Since I like deckbuilders, I really did like your game. After I understood the game loop, it was fairly easy to beat - even tough I thought the last enemy will defeat me. But since the enemies cards seemed to get weaker the longer the fight progressed, it was easier to win. As others already mentioned, it would be even more fun to randomize the cards and to have more abilities to choose from. Overall a nice entry!

Fire Quota by quadtree 2024-05-01T15:57:58Z

Nice entry! I did like the artstyle and the simplistic idea for the elemental. I did like the leveling-up system, even though it would have been nice to see some "real" effect on the game - of course you were faster etc., but it would have been even more fun to see that the abilities would have matter a little bit more. But we all did work under a time constraint, so great game!

Summon Auto Pets by Wicked 2024-04-27T23:49:05Z

This was a really fun game! As already mentioned, at times it felt really frantic. Also I didn“t know if I just got unlucky or that after a specific level the items got smaller and smaller - which can be nice, but if you want to build fast it was a challange! Great Game!

Who's My Boo? by Matt Fabius 2024-04-28T00:00:44Z

That was a fun game that i would love to play even longer! The artstyle was nice and the chosen music was fitting for the overall theme. Sadly the game was a little bit short. I still enjoyed the witty dialogue though!

Circle cloner by IndieManiaC 2024-04-29T17:38:40Z

I really do like the idea of the game, with some music it actually could feel really "zen". I would have loved to see a different idea of the score though. Cause my highest score was when i just perfectly finished the outer circle, which was pretty easy. Doing it like a "X% of the summoning circle is filled" would let me try to perfect my circle even more. But its a really nice idea!

Riftward by Flightless 2024-04-29T20:17:28Z

I gotta be honest. At first I thought I would have to find something nice to find about your game to write about (Cause the picture of your game was not the most inviting I saw before I clicked on your game!)

But the idea of the game and the simple yet challenging mechanics were really good. I had a pretty good time playing your game. Kinda reminds me of the old "Icy Tower" Game, but with a whole different mechanic to reach the top.

So yeah, really enjoyed your game. Kudos!

Ridtward.PNG

Worm Walk by Verbante 2024-04-27T23:55:05Z

Such a nice entry for just three hours. I really like the vibe and the idea, but I just dont seem to understand the concept of not walking in the rhythm :D. At the end i just smashed the keys till I rode the worm! But a really creative idea for a game!

Weather wizard by fabonacci 2024-04-27T18:52:02Z

I really did like the approach of summoning the elements. As you mentioned yourself, it would have been more cohesive if you had added music. But time is always the issue in these jams! It would have been fun to see some bad "consequences" of your summoning power, e.g. freezing yourself in the water by the crates or drowning the whole area. But overall it was a fun short game with a cute artstyle. Well done!

Souls 'R Us by Aarimous 2024-04-27T20:04:58Z

It“s so silly, I love it!

LUCIFER.png

As I am writing this, I am sill trying to summon lucifer, since time has gotten really slow after I oversummoned lol. The sounds are great. With that sound design you don“t even need any backround music. It actually could have been to much. Your game was an absolute joy to play!

LUCIFER2.png

Summoner's Emporium by imwonderr 2024-04-27T21:08:56Z

As already mentioned, the game looks stunning.

Had to restart the game once, because I "skipped" one of the tutorials. But that was my mistake. Would have love to seen some other slime combinations out of the elements - it would be fun to combine the elements that you get a different slime that produces two elements or a new element. But that would put the scope outside of a game jam.

But overall it was a delight to play your game.

Unholy Cow by oligue 2024-05-01T16:08:03Z

Really did like the sun and the music, especially from the laser :D. Would have been even more fun to get some changes after you finished the first levels, but we did all work with limited time. Nice entry!

LD55 - Ritual of Cards by Reulan 2024-04-29T17:25:30Z

I also do like some good deck building games. The idea to use an amount of cards to summon your monster is a nice idea. I would have loved to have a goal besides summoning the monster. But we all had some time constraints! As others have mentioned, i would have loved to habe the ability to erase cards (in exchange for some mana perhaps?) so that I could plan my moves more. But overall, nice entry!

Path of Summoner by Pedryx 2024-04-29T19:17:34Z

I really like your game. After i understood the risk/reward system it was pretty nice. I would have liked more abilities to choose from, but I can understand that we all had time restrictions! Overall a neat game with a good idea!

Alakazam Ghosties by Blueanoli 2024-04-29T19:59:56Z

I think its pretty normal not to like your game at the end of the jam (or at least for me it always feels that way!) But you did manage to create a game ON YOUR OWN in three days! So just celebrate that you did that.

Played all four campaigns, would have loved to have a barrier on the left side, since the character just stopped moving without any big indication to why he stops.

Also: I did win the third mission without ever reaching the goal? But overall, you had a variety of enemies and different missions, so its a complete and solid game!

What The Duck? by purplexy 2024-04-29T19:10:18Z

i really like the idea of these ducks! It was a fun game, but since I was really focused on the summoning part of the ducks, i rarely looked up to see the actual fight! So if you want to be nitpicky it would have been nice to combine these two parts better, so that the experience is even better!

Quack Quack!

Summoner's Cat Defense by KANAGG 2024-04-29T19:51:02Z

Really cute tower defense game! It would have been nice to get some ingame feedback of what you can control (mouse wheel) and a little bit more variety in the enemies and altars, but overall a solid game for three days!

Devil's Advocate by Spectra 2024-04-29T20:32:37Z

Client was found not guilty. Would be a shame if I didn“t get my paycheck for my nice condo!

Great game overall with the obvious nod the Ace Attorney. If you want to be nitpicky it would have been nicer to see the Judge again when he was talking while the witness was on stand. Also, the summoning scene could have been a little bit shorter.

But yeah, thats just to critique something.

Overall a pretty solid and fun game!

Curse of the Mystical Mushroom by BACON BEAST 2024-04-27T20:29:32Z

This was really fun to play!

Mushroom1.png

I would have loved if the big mushroom had some sort of barrier, so that you cant spam your mushrooms there.

If you want to be nitpicky, the sound design could have been improved, especially when you summon 100 mushrooms :id:

But overall a really fun game which I liked to play!

The Abyss by Manuel Otero 2024-04-27T20:41:15Z

I really did like the versatility of monsters for the duration of the game. Who throws slimes at me? To be nitpicky, a little bit more "story" in the game itself would have been great! But overall a really nice short game with nice audio and atmosphere!

Sorcerer by asatrain 2024-04-27T19:19:07Z

I like the idea of a puzzle platformer, your character could even been cuter if you had added an eye to it!

Feel Good by Polina Vlasova 2024-04-27T19:28:11Z

Playing the game without reading any of the other comments, it was definietly a sudden shift of events. The art style was great, felt modern yet still retro. Even tough i couldnt figure out why the "Control Button" function was needed to win the game.

Nice, surreal game!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Bunny’s Dusty Odyssey by Snowdrama 2024-10-20T17:42:38Z

Really nice game! As already mentioned, the style is really nice. _After_ I found out how to attack, the game was pretty easy. Personally, I would like to have more feedback on getting hit. If there was a sound effect, I would not have noticed it (so I cannot tell you if if wasnt loading or if it just wasn“t loud enough) The first time I lost, I couldnt figure out why. Saw the "health bar" after three or four floors lol. But i really did like to clean up the green mess!

Nice entry!

Forest Tower Defense by shared 2024-10-21T21:03:25Z

I really like tower defense games, and this one was also really enjoyable! I like the usage of the "tiny creatures" as the enemy. Since you did make it all on your own in 48 hours, its really good. Would have liked to have some more "towers" but alas, it“s a timed game jam!

Great game!

Crazy Critters by freso 2024-10-20T16:53:45Z

As the other comments already mentioned, the audio and the style of the game is great! It would be even more fun to have a more complicated game-loop - since you just try to find the enemies and let them get devoured! But for a three-day Gamejam its super nice!

Cicada & Les Grenouilles by Jajo 2024-10-21T19:58:45Z

Really liked the levels and the music! As others already mentioned, the controls were a bit "messy" when you stand on top of the latters, which caused me to die. Also, a little bit clear feedback in the game itself would be nice that you - after collecting all the orbs - can now destroy the frogs. Overall, nice game !

Mutation Machinations by slay a stone 2024-10-20T22:12:46Z

I feel bad now.

fgdfgdfgdfgdfgdfg.PNG

After restarting the game twice - because I did“t understand the rules - it was pretty fun! I really did like the mutation aspect of it, you could make some really powerful cards. Overall a really nice game!

The Sloth Machine by J0ye 2024-10-20T17:54:33Z

I really did like the graphics!

Three Tiny Toblins by NightmaresDev 2024-10-21T21:24:33Z

Nice game! Really reminded me of the The Lost Vikings, even though your characters are cuter! Before I moved the characters, i thought i would awfully miss some background music, but the voiceovers were great! Really did like that every charater felt unique.

Impish Descent by Honey Pony 2024-10-20T16:48:38Z

Really nice entry! Love me some games with the possibility of different playstyles. Also liked the artifacts, so that you could try to minmax your squad even more. Personally, I found the movement a little bit too flowy, at least with a lot of imps. The music did fit the game pretty well. Overall a nice game!

Pigatomic by sami822 2024-10-21T20:15:35Z

Brothers, am I right? Really do like the atmosphere and the fucking strange world building (in a good way) The controlly were a little bit heavy when you try to collect the atoms. But overall a really nice game with a lot of humor!

The Rubber Room by Danial Jumagaliyev 2024-10-20T17:08:08Z

Once I figured out to use the green rats as a weapon, it was over for the other rats! Really did like the simple design and the funny banter between the character and the operator. As already mentioned, the grabbing of the rats with "E" was a little bit unclean and I often had to click multiple times - even tough the command to grab was on the screen.

But overall a really nice entry!

Tiny Man Adventure by ironhandMD 2024-10-21T22:05:39Z

Nice entry! It would have been nice to have an ending screen and not just losing on the last level, but its a timed contest. Also I would like to have some incentive to be fast in the game itself, since I could just wiggle myself very slowly towards the goal. The music was perfectly chosen for the little tiny man!

Spirit Quest by AppreacherOne 2024-10-21T21:46:07Z

Nice game! Really liked the idea of changing the size of the character. If would have been even more interessting to see more options to incorporate that feature.

Also: I“m really sad that I didn“t help the poor spirits!

Michael's Grand Escape! by Malenia 2024-10-20T18:08:57Z

Really like the art style and the incorporation of the hiding element. It was a little bit frustrating to get the jump in the last level - it felt a little but unintuitive. But overall, a nice small game!

Nomiss has one hundred paws by Alban 2024-10-21T22:18:43Z

Nice game! After I understood that we have to make a "simon says", I could follow the game quite nicely. If would have been much easier, if it the colors would be more visible - overall its pretty bright.

Keep on working!

Really did like the entry! Big fan of dice games in general, so your game was really nice! Apparently, you cann sell the display-dice in the shop as well? Not that I needed the money though lol.

Liked the differend dice, but would have liked a little sign with further information, just to have that information compact at hand.

Nice game overall, great job!

Heads Up by quadtree 2025-04-20T19:29:08Z

Nice game with QWOP-Vibes undersea.

I did like the atmospheric music and I didn“t mind the controls, but if I wanted to tweak the game even more, i would tweak the level design and/or the timer. Specifically the last two levels were a little bit more open, so that you could get lost in sea, but the timer kinda rushed you to find the exit. But we all had to finish the game in the given time.

So overall a really fine game !

Fish.Net by Pete 2025-04-21T22:24:21Z

Really nice fishing game. The Mood and the audio was really nice, as well as the graphics. Sadly, I could just improve my rope lengh and it was a little bit strange that it upgraded that length every time i had enough money - without going back to the shop.

But it was a really cozy experience!

Godless Furnishings by Daniel Alhadeff 2025-04-20T20:25:43Z

Even though I am really bad at physics-games, i really enjoyed your entree! The graphics were nice and the implementation of the theme was really creative. If we wouldn“t compete with ludum dares time constraint, you could argue that the music loop was a little bit short and noticeable, but you never have enough time!

Overall, I really did enjoyed your game and played it longer than anticipated!

Mind the Depth by Flightless 2025-04-21T20:58:17Z

I did like the walking-sim underwater! The atmosphere and story you created was nice, the music was fitting for the context - even tough at some points the music could have lingered longer for my taste.

But overall a piece that makes you think, so well done!

A long night by fabonacci 2025-04-20T20:42:09Z

Sleeping is important! I did like the atmospheric music and the sound overall, but would have like the opportunity to run, at least for the last level! The combination of running and faster monster chasing would have been even more fun. Also would have liked to have a moveable lightsource and "full darkness" in the unlighted parts.

Overall a solid entry!

Diggity Diggity Diggity (Dash) by DaveCo 2025-04-21T10:30:38Z

I really did like the game and played it in "single" player, as well as in the tournament. The music and the audio effects were really nice.

My only question is: Was is intentional that the second jump of the double jump increased your speed? I found it easier to double jump than to dig, since digging slowed me down and it was not often requiered to actually dig.

As an addition, it would have been nice to get rewarded for digging in upgrades, so that the slowing down of the digging will result in perks in the next run (but this is just an idea and had no effects on my rating, since we all just had to work with the time we had)

Overall a really funny game with great music!

Nice Entry with an interesting Input system! I did like the input system and the resulting "dizzyness" of it. The way that you get lost in the cave in the lower area was a nice touch. The items were a good addtion to the game and helped to find a way back home.

Job: Elevator! by Infernaton 2025-04-21T22:02:53Z

Good entry, really like the pixel art and the soundeffects! As already mentioned, a little bit of background music would have been even more enticing, but given that this game is a compo entry, the sound effects were more than enough.

Unmasked by BUDSTER16 2025-04-21T21:18:10Z

I like the "twist" with the theme!

I struggled a little bit with the projectiles of the enemy, since they didnt spawn straight from the gun and therefore could shoot directly "down" - and hit our hero even tough we weren“t in sight.

Other than that, a rich story and a lot of levels!

D.R.I.L.L .inc by Kaspar Saarekivi 2025-04-21T09:20:46Z

Nice entry!

I really like the idea of the game and it has a lot of potential to upgrade the nice core-loop. I would have loved to have the possibility to invert the controls, because it somehow felt off for me (but thats not part of my rating, cause thats a personal preference). Also the audio loop could have been a little bit longer, because you could hear the cut at the end of the loop.

I liked the different chunks of gems and and the different terrain, so your game kept me entertained!

Good job!

Depths of the Deity by LukyStudios 2025-04-21T10:17:04Z

Congrats to your first entry (on this account?). Your game is a solid base to build up on. As others already mentioned, the music sadly did not loop and the sound effect of getting hurt was a little bit unsuitable (and just on one side on my headset).

It“s a nice idea and I had fun playing it!

LD58 — Collector

Unarchived by strong99 2025-10-22T15:11:58Z

I mean, it's just a stunning game with a nice, simple game loop!

It could be improved upon by having something more than just collecting the items—perhaps incorporating a different interaction, like the ghost mechanic you mentioned. But we all worked under the time constraint! Keep it up!

1000 Swords by abcdef65g 2025-10-23T12:21:01Z

Really neat game! I liked the variety of the minigames, and the music was nicely chosen.

To improve upon it, the game could lean in one of two directions regarding pacing: it could be either more frantic (like a WarioWare style, where minigames stack back-to-back) or the time between the minigames should offer the player something else to do (perhaps a quick minigame to sharpen the sword for a buff?).

But we all worked under a time constraint! So, nice entry!

The Hollow Library by Snowdrama 2025-10-23T12:11:46Z

Really nice game! I liked the music and the atmosphere; they worked very well together.

A small note on sound balancing: the music in the third level could have been a little bit quieter, as it was noticeably louder compared to the other levels.

I also think a hint system to help find the souls would have been a nice addition, but nonetheless, I managed to beat the game! The art was fun and I had a great time playing it.

A Bulletmaster's Ritual by kiririn51 2025-10-23T12:54:54Z

I really loved the entry. The ending, not so much šŸ˜‰!

Since I'm a sucker for card games, this was a really nice one. I liked the atmosphere and the music, as well as the story.

The ending, however... not so much. You can't give me the option to extort people and then make me the bad guy! The ending itself also felt a little bit sudden, but I guess that's due to the time constraint of the jam.

But seriously, this was one of the best games I've played so far, so well done!

Sugar Crash Clair by epb9000 2025-10-13T19:51:03Z

Really nice game! I particularly liked the design of the UI and the character itself!

Garden Gnome by twistways 2025-10-13T21:11:54Z

Really cute game! As others have already mentioned, the timer ends pretty far away from the cart, but that just gave you more time to collect stuff! The art style is nice and reminded me of games from my childhood!

Recollections by benskca 2025-10-23T13:13:08Z

A really polished game! I particularly liked the narration—it had a great feel, almost like a blend of Thomas Was Alone and The Stanley Parable. The different mechanics were nice and very well implemented. The art style was also really cute. Overall, a great game!

Ghost Collector by Ausstein 2025-10-07T22:27:10Z

This is a really nice game!

I really liked the moodiness of the game, as well as the SFX and the color choice in the menu.

While playing, I sometimes found it hard to see the effective vacuuming area clearly. Also, the decoy could be tricky, as I had to get very close to it to suck up the ghosts, which then rushed me immediately after the decoy vanished.

But I absolutely love games where you can choose your upgrades and try to find better or different strategic approaches.

Thanks for the game!

Me, everyday.

As others have already mentioned, you've created a moody concept with a lot of potential.

Naturally, we all faced the three-day time limit, which restricts the time available for perfecting the game. However, with sufficient time and the additional features you've already discussed in the comments, you could easily elevate this to a full game that truly matches the compelling moodiness you've already established!

TRASH-OUT by MelekTaus 2025-10-21T12:59:11Z

Really nice game! I liked the smooth game loop, the crisp art, and the relaxing music.

The game could be improved with a more challenging game loop, as it tended to get easier toward the end.

But considering the time constraint of the jam, it's a really nice entry that I enjoyed a lot!

Friendly by xpoho 2025-10-13T10:10:49Z

Nice game! I really liked the music and the art, and the concept itself is pretty unique.

I played it several times to get both endings (I guess there are two?) and couldn't figure out the win condition—is it pure luck? But sometimes friendship is just luck! šŸ˜‰ The game loop could be improved by having both types of people available in a single run and introducing clearer indicators to help the player determine who their friend will be. But overall nice game!

Call Hector by Pikario 2025-10-07T22:54:34Z

The ending was so stupid — I love it! Overall, a really great game.

I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles; some were easier than others, but that's typical for the genre. The music you curated was fitting, the art style was great, and the incorporated humor was spot-on.

My only piece of criticism is that the "second" puzzle was a bit frustrating because it required a clue from outside the puzzle itself.

But overall, this is a great puzzle game that I truly enjoyed!

CALL LECTOR by 5apper 2025-10-22T13:44:14Z

Nice game! I really like the vibes and the game loop.

As others have already mentioned, it would be great to get direct feedback on whether I've successfully caught a terrorist or not.

Also, I would have made the computer static (unmovable) so that I didn't accidentally push it off the desk (which is non-movable).The overall feeling of the game reminded me somewhat of "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes", which was a nice callback!

Mines of Enceladus by auxiliarymoose 2025-10-22T14:50:41Z

Really moody entry! I liked the controls and the general premise of the game.

It would be even more fun if the core loop were a little more developed, perhaps by adding a bit more progression over time. It would also be cool to have a possibility to recharge your miner inside the mine, which would streamline the activity.

But overall, for a three-day jam, it's a really moody entry that was a lot of fun!

BirbDex by Fiordarancio 2025-10-22T14:28:13Z

This is a really nice moody game! I love the idea and the art; it's very relaxing.

However, you could improve the feedback in a few key areas. For instance, the birds all look the same when they are in the air, which makes it difficult to distinguish them. I also noticed that the sounds sometimes stopped unexpectedly, even when I wasn't clicking anywhere else, which made it hard to follow. Furthermore, some visual feedback on the notes/tones would be greatly beneficial, as it's quite challenging to mimic a variety of sounds using only the same four whistling notes. These small improvements would make the core mechanic much clearer and more satisfying to play! But its a really unique game that I truly enjoyed!

Wavelength Collector by andriybyelikov 2025-10-13T09:49:12Z

A nice little vignette! I really like the underlying concept, even though I'd love to see it developed into a game with more of a defined loop.

It would be especially fun if you introduced interactive objects that required specific lighting or shadow manipulation to solve, such as needing to light up or hide one of the three colored dots. This kind of mechanic would really elevate the gameplay!

Spyder by MartianMangka 2025-10-21T13:17:50Z

Really nice concept (and nice pun)! As others have already mentioned, the core idea of the game is great but could be heavily improved upon.

For example, the randomness of the enemy's movement was quite difficult to work with (as you already mentioned yourself). By switching to a more "predictable" movement pattern, you could lean even further into the "spy" category. Normal people usually have a predictable day if you observe them long enough—this mechanic would perfectly match that theme and add a layer of strategy!

Tamago Bill by thegrottman 2025-10-21T13:54:02Z

2334343434.png First of all, I loved the game! The style and the gameplay felt so retro, which was perfectly complemented by the music. It really goes to show that even if you didn't create the music, it just connects everything together. Personally, I wouldn't add more sound effects, but to each (commenter) their own. If you want to improve upon the game, you could add a restraint that forces the player to deal with the hunchmen, as I could currently just ignore them if my basket was too far away. The upgrades were nice, but I ended the game with over 300 coins without any further usage. This could be improved by adding more expensive late-game upgrades or another way to spend the excess currency. You could actually use the background rocks and boulders to let the hunchmen hide when running away, adding a strategic element to pursuit.

These are genuinely just things to think about for a future development and did not influence my voting in the slightest! Great entry!

Anthropocene Museum by ACartlidge 2025-10-09T17:25:40Z

This is a quite relaxing game! I loved the feeling of being a benevolent curator tasked with showing folks what humanity was all about. After obtaining a lot of money and trying to buy artwork in bulk, I ran into two specific issues: Buy Button Bug: The "Buy" button sometimes stopped working after multiple purchases. UI Overlap: Two of the artworks had names that were too long, causing the text to overlay the purchase area, making it impossible to select them. The music selection and the art style were great and really enhanced the mood. Great game overall!

Pres. No Face? by yuwei 2025-10-13T21:00:25Z

Nice game! I really like the art style and the core idea of the game. The concept itself is genuinely interesting!

However, the game loop could be a little bit more engaging, perhaps by adding some more variety to the core activity. This is especially true since the score is already visible, which currently allows players to deduce the correct answer too easily. This is an area that could definitely be improved upon.

But I have to say, this is the most interesting art I've seen so far!

Greedios by Tyrannos 2025-10-21T14:13:32Z

irst of all, congratulations on your first game—and hopefully not your last! You have built a nice platformer with a lot of potential that could certainly be improved upon.

As others have already mentioned, adding a tutorial (whether in-game or written out) is one of the easiest ways to explain your gameplay, especially when it can sometimes feel a little counterintuitive. Since we are all operating under a time constraint, I know that's really hard to implement.

But I truly hope to see another one of your games in the next jam!

biologist by ne40k 2025-10-22T13:54:22Z

Hey y'all, congratulations on finishing your first game jam! As you mentioned yourself, it can be a huge hassle to make a game in just three days!

But the art style is great and I absolutely loved the main menu!

I truly hope you folks participate in the next jam, because technical stuff can always be learned, but creativity is something you can't learn—and judging by the main screen, you certainly have it! So keep going!

"Really nice game! Loved the animations and the idea. It would have been fun to integrate some kind of second game loop, since it did start to become a little bit repetitive—maybe some upgrades that would have made the blasts different? But I loved the gradual destruction of the planet and the chilling music with the SFX! Great work.

Signal Walk by Bernhard 2026-05-05T18:24:24Z

Really liked this puzzle-y game! The artstyle was nice and the music was clean, even though the track could have been a bit longer before looping. The way the notes increased in pitch as you connected more was a really nice touch! Great work.

Foto by MrTurtle 2026-05-03T18:06:04Z

photo(2).pngphoto(1).png Really nice Game! Some background music would have been the cherry on top, but given the massive assets and the great artstyle, it's more than understandable that you prioritized the visuals. Great job!

We're Going to Hell for This by very dark lord 2026-05-05T17:48:37Z

Really liked the dark humor angle! As others mentioned, it would have been great to have more of an in-game tutorial. I’d also suggest regulating the randomness a bit! I had more people wanting money than I actually had money to give in that level lol! Really nice entry with a great tone.

LINK DROP by Quackqack 2026-05-05T18:09:47Z

Really liked the usage of the signals as well as the artstyle! As others mentioned, the ship was a little bit hard to steer, but I guess that’s normal for this type of game. I think a 'star' rating system would have been nice, giving more stars for using fewer signals. But that’s just a personal preference and didn’t affect my rating. Overall, a really solid and polished entry!

Mixed Signals by Fractal 2026-05-04T20:02:41Z

I feel like I got tricked into learning more about waves and physics than I ever did in school! What can I say? A really solid, high-quality entry that is just impeccable for a jam. Definitely one of my favorites so far!

Air Traffic Chaos!! by Elbapotsnugg 2026-05-03T19:04:31Z

I hate that I instantly understood the 'R U HUMAN' reference! I really liked the core loop and the idea, though sometimes the 'glitches' felt a little too random. Overall, it’s a great concept and the gameplay is super satisfying!

Panik's Trip by Teto 2026-05-04T19:20:12Z

I really like card games, so I enjoyed this one! As others have mentioned, it’s quite hard to beat the RNG (at least for me, lol). The audio could also be a little more balanced. That said, I loved the artstyle and the theme—it was really dark and atmospheric!

Signal from the Mist by BorodaOlen 2026-05-05T17:57:04Z

Really liked the entry! Simple mechanics and a pretty nice translation of the theme. You could have polished the info-boxes a bit, though. I couldn’t close them without accidentally shooting my first ring! Cheers mate, great job.

Meowta Force by Yucong 2026-05-05T17:36:17Z

Really liked the idea and the artstyle! The microphone sadly stayed on 'loud' for me, even though I wasn't making any noise. Also, the rules could be explained a little more clearly since I was a bit confused at first. But I really loved the cat! Great effort!

Stay Tuned by ThinArc 2026-05-04T19:30:28Z

The mood and the audio were really nice, and I loved the overall design! As others mentioned, it would have been helpful to have more instructions, I actually played twice without realizing I could use A and D (lol). It also would have been great to see an end screen of some sort, just to clarify if I reached the only ending or if there was more to discover. Overall, a nice interpretation of the theme with some great grim graphics!

Mail Cats by kkkyia 2026-05-04T17:43:36Z

Really nice game, especially for your first entry! As others already mentioned, the visibility of the platforms could be improved a bit. Also, I noticed that when you die, the fish don’t reset, so you can just keep collecting them! Aside from that, the cats were super cute. Great job!

Sigma by peped 2026-05-03T17:41:16Z

Really nice entry! I loved the mood created by the music, and the core idea is great. As others mentioned, some constellations were a bit hard to figure out because the shapes felt a little unconventional. But I guess that's just the authentic astronomy experience, right? Great work!

Post the signal by ieee333 2026-05-04T17:04:00Z

Really liked the core idea and the usage of the theme! It would have been fun to have a comparison mode to see what other people created, or perhaps some specific restraints in the prompts to add a bit of challenge.

That being said, I had a lot of fun making naughty signs! Great entry.

SIGNAL: Abyss by fourApril 2026-05-04T16:55:32Z

Didn’t expect that ending, thanks for making me sad!

Overall, a really nice game with a simple game loop and a moody atmosphere. The balancing could have been a little more... balanced, since it was pretty easy to beat, but under the time constraints, this is a really solid entry. Music was simple yet great and loved the art!

On My Signal! by brolga 2026-05-04T18:17:27Z

Loved the idea, I'm a big fan of tower defense games! Hated the archers, tho (lol). The game felt balanced overall, but at some point I stopped using the archers because it felt like they were doing more friendly fire than anything else! Fun entry.
