LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Press Space To Jump The Gap by foolmoron 2021-04-28T04:38:11Z

Really interesting concept. Multiple times I thought it was broken, but each time I just needed to explore a little bit more. It reminds me of the fun I had playing point and click adventures. Good work!

Deepest Sword by Strega 2021-04-28T04:02:27Z

Great game, very frustrating. The videos made it look far easier than it was. I liked the music and art, and the concept is hilarious.

Explory Story by Blue Pin Studio 2021-04-29T04:53:46Z

Fun game, I enjoyed discovering the different "actions" that could happen. I had to keep dying on purpose just to run through the paragraphs to see what would happen. Very creative, definitely a unique game.

The Search for Catlantis by TheEarthAbides 2021-04-29T04:18:32Z

Cute game, nice music. I would have liked to tell exactly how many lives I had left so I could choose to be more or less risky when going to grab more bombs next to enemies. I was going to give up after a couple of unlucky tries, but saw comments about the boss so I decided to try a couple more times. Some way of showing how close you are to the end might also keep more people playing until the end. Good job!

RUN FROM STUFF (2D Chase Game) by PookiPoot 2021-04-29T03:58:08Z

Enjoyable gameplay, took a bit to get a hang of the jumping controls but it got easier after that. It could definitely use some checkpoints, when I got to level 2 I hoped that would be where I returned if I died.

Panic by Plot 2021-04-29T04:32:26Z

The art and atmosphere was nice. It was fun trying to strategically time my kills to avoid getting caught. I would have liked to see an ending screen, even if it was just "congratulations, you've gotten away with petty theft!" Overall an interesting take on the theme.

CUBE VS BALL by MrJesse 2021-04-28T04:55:33Z

Great music. The different cube stages were creative, and it was fun to find different strategies to deal with them.

LD52 — Harvest

Space Harvest by MachWerx 2023-01-15T04:07:59Z

Interesting concept. I'd like to see some sort of "end" condition past unlocking all the bunny types (maybe at 1 billion bunnies?) Fun music.

Goblindentured Harvester by Magnanix 2023-01-15T04:35:34Z

The game concept is good, and it was fun exploring the dungeon collecting resources. I couldn't tell if timing the harvesting minigame changed anything -- it takes a while to wait for the icon to come back if you miss it, and mashing E seemed to give the same amount of resources. Doing this also got me stuck in the harvesting minigame until the time ran out. One thing I'd add is some in-game explanation of how the stats work, and what changes between the difficulty levels. I liked choosing locations on the map. They reset each time, but it would be nice to be able to clear them out one by one to have a sense of progress.

Click On Fish by Pomo 2023-01-11T07:22:10Z

Fun to watch on stream, more fun to beat my friends on the leaderboard.

LD53 — Delivery

African Bicycle Dealer by OldDog 2023-05-02T06:27:47Z

Good early progression, the bike upgrades all felt good to get. The city upgrades were more expensive but didn't feel as worthwhile to wait for. Graphical style was nice.

Yuki's mystery by Sevla 2023-05-02T06:54:26Z

Nice short game. Good use of background graphics and music to make a spooky atmosphere. Packages could still be interacted with after they were picked up, and you could temporarily stop the ghost by reopening them.

Boxtorio by JoshuaBounds 2023-05-02T06:36:58Z

With some mouse controls and a couple more blocks this could be a fun sandbox game. Nice graphics!

LD55 — Summoning

Emperor's Gems by Togis 2024-04-17T06:12:27Z

My first play-through I didn't realize why the apprentices didn't make the cart faster, but after my first (severe) loss I figured it out. Cute graphics, and an interesting twist on the idler format.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Shrine by blacksheepza 2024-10-08T22:40:08Z

Unfortunately the fixed zip file also seems to be corrupt for me.

Duck Rescue Patrol by rkhadder 2024-10-08T22:48:55Z

I feel like with just a little bit more time this could've gotten up to 5 or 10 levels, all of the base gameplay is there. Fun game, though one of my saved ducks wasn't counted because he was too slow. The road lines tell me this doesn't take place in the US, but I don't play enough geoguessr to know which country it is.

Moldable Monster of Mine by She Wrote 2024-10-08T22:30:27Z

Fun minimal game, similar to some ship building games. I liked that you could reposition pixels after initially placing them.

Tiny Creatures by Akarinn 2024-10-08T23:32:04Z

The graphics and audio are great, the difficulty is definitely something to consider ramping up slowly. The top UI had a few places it could be made clearer. The leading zeros made the numbers all blend together, and it was hard to see at a glance which things were most expensive. The different unit types had different background colors, but they were desaturated and not visually distinct. Spacing out the towers from the consumables and creatures would make this clearer as well. Having only a few of the units available at the start would also help the game feel simpler. Overall it was fun, and impressive that you managed such a large team.

HungryBob by chingiskhan 2024-10-08T22:59:53Z

It would be good to have more / faster bugs. If you could see the bug in his hand it would be clearer that you're holding a bug, that way you don't try grabbing a second bug like I did without eating the first.

LD57 — Depths

Cheese is the Reason by AXLplosion 2025-04-09T07:27:49Z

Great vibes, the environments and animations were all fun to see, and the sound work pulled it all together nicely. Definitely inspiration to add more background animations to my own games after seeing how much life it brings to the world.

Bungee Spelunker by EvilScotsman 2025-04-10T06:15:08Z

Big fan of the PSX graphical style. It would be cool to have a couple of stages with a minimum threshold to pass each one, and maybe some hazards.

Sewer Shift by Saryah 2025-04-10T06:41:04Z

At one point I turned left and it seemed like there was a giant invisible wall, and walking up it sent me to the ceiling at which point I could walk over it. I still seem to have made it to the cult room though. The mood was good, now I'm just wondering if I skipped things.

Fifty Floors of Flavor by Hulya 2025-04-10T06:54:07Z

I've never had chocolate pizza, and I'm not sure I want to meet the person who wants it for dinner (which apparently this person did).

A Call from the Void by Oinkle 2025-04-09T08:01:55Z

A fun short puzzle game. I wish it had a little decoder machine to help shift the letters rather than doing it manually. The music was nice as I worked through it though.

harvest the valley :) by chloew 2025-04-10T07:14:51Z

I was told to harvest and so I did. I was told that everything was perfect, but something seems to tell me that it was not. Fun game.
