LD38 — A Small World

Blomst 🌻 by Ava Skoog 2017-05-01T20:00:29Z

This is a truly lovely game. I had a great time bringing the planet to life! It took me some time to figure that you could scroll and find more plants in the shop (mouse controls for the shop would be a big help) but once I did figure it out it was smooth sailing. The first planet may have been too big and I think it might have taken too long to complete in my opinion (Even though I did stick around because of how charming your game is!). Perhaps starting a new player off with smaller first planet might help? Not sure if that helps but thanks for the great experience!

Space Turtle by Sebastian Lague 2017-05-02T20:13:48Z

You did a great job on creating a solid mood! Space Turtle is a well focused, tight game and feels like a nicely polished game for such a short time frame. Also good job on getting good working menu in. Not many games I played managed to do that and it does add to the overall completeness of the game.

Invasion - The Chronicle by Kappa.B 2017-05-01T19:23:46Z

For someone that says that they aren't much of an artist, you did a great job! The style is very consistent and works well! Unfortunately I was very lost in the gameplay and couldn't really figure it out! I do appreciate that you managed to get a fair amount of complexity into your game which is impressive for such a short time! I know that the time is tight and things like tutorials fall by the wayside but if you do take this further it would be great to see a bit more of a tutorial to guide you through the initial stages :)

Flatland by fabsy 2017-05-01T19:34:02Z

Really nice execution had a good time playing the game. Though I do feel like I managed to beat the CPU fairly easily which meant I didn't get to explore the upgrade system at all.

Slice of Life by tweedle 2017-05-10T20:28:52Z

Had a good time playing this game, I played more rounds than I planned on which is definitely a good sign :) I really like the art and the humor of the game. It took a bit of time to figure out the strengths of the different defenses but there is a good amount variety which got me to experiment with different strategies! Well done on getting a great game done!

If you have a moment please have a look at our Jam entry: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/space-jam-working-title Any feedback out be greatly appreciated!

Unnamed Space Project by Devastus 2017-05-02T20:49:11Z

Didn't realise you could build turrets at first and died way too quickly  The visuals of the game are great! The models are really well done for such a short time frame. I agree that the lack of sfx does detract from the game a bit and it is a bit annoying that you cant shoot while you have the build menu up. I would suggest you add a thematic reason for doing that (eg accessing a terminal on your ship) or perhaps just have it always on and let the player shoot normally. Just a thought :)

Great job again!

SLINGSHOOT by chaoclypse 2017-05-01T19:11:24Z

I like the idea of the mechanic! Its really interesting, though I did have trouble trying to get the hang of it. It still feels too random and hard to control. I landed up just focusing on dodging most of the time instead of trying to fling things at enemies. So I wonder if doing something like slowing down objects that are in your orbit might help with control? Just a thought, other than that great job on the simple and addictive game!

NekomimiAtsume by parkdraws 2017-05-01T19:27:39Z

Wonderful art! Wish there was more content though :(

Hamsterscape! by Dzik 2017-05-01T20:03:07Z

I honestly cannot believe you managed to pull this game off in such a short time! It is excellent! The style, mechanics, art are awesome! I do wish there was mouse controls for the building phase and unfortunately moving the hamsters in the machine felt quite clunky at times. But overall I bow down to what you achieved in this game :D

Plutiny by peringo 2017-05-10T16:04:43Z

Fantastic game! I really love the context and the art style is awesome! It is really cool that the game had upgrades which helps to vary the gameplay. The music was aptly chosen and worked well.

That said I do wish there was a bit more variety in how the waves approached and that perhaps the enemies staggered their shots a bit to make things a bit more difficult. I do like the particles that come off the enemies but I think that the game could perhaps use a bit more juice (I do know that juice generally comes last and is hard to get everything done in such a short time). Things like little 1 frame pauses or sounds when you hit an enemy would help give feedback to the player because while I focused on dodging the bullets/asteroids I found it hard to know if I was hitting enemies. Screenshake is another really simple but effective method to add a bit of punch to the game. And a final thought, you should give the player a reason to not be shooting all the time, perhaps something like knockback or slower movement or else you may as well put autofire on :P

Anyway, you two did a great job :)

If you have a moment, please check out our game and see what you think! Any feedback would be apprieciated! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/space-jam-working-title

House Escape by Piotrek 2017-05-02T20:39:16Z

This is a really nice concise game. I really enjoyed the art style and you did a good job on the sound effects. I did run into a strange bug where I kept losing and regaining items that I had already found. Well done on getting something up for the compo :)

Edit: The text changing size was a little bit jarring for me. Consistent sizes would be better in my opinion :)

A Week's Passing by iseeicy 2017-05-01T19:35:25Z

Going to have to come back to this one, it was a bit too slow for me. Looks like you put in a lot of effort and from what I saw you did a great job :)

Solar Smash by blacksheepza 2017-05-02T20:00:40Z

Hey all, sorry about the lag! It should get better if you play a second round. I am still learning and made some non-optimal coding decisions in order to get things up and running as fast as possible.

Also, a BIG thank you to all the kind words, feedback and people playing our game! It means a lot to our fledgling team! We hope you enjoyed it! :rocket:

The End and the Beginning by Zitao YE 2017-05-01T19:07:26Z

This game definitely struck an interesting mood but unfortunately, the controls were quite clunky which detracted from the game. I didn't realise that you could shoot for the first while and so the mood had me dodging the bullets and avoiding the enemies. Then when I realised I had to kill the enemies, I had to retrace my steps which was a bit frustrating. I do like the character model, it's really cool! I think I understand what you were going for in the game and so I would love to see how this game would turn out with some more tlc and some polish!

Snowday by Jon Tiburzi 2017-05-10T20:18:53Z

Beautiful experience! Very well crafted. You managed to get a great deal of personality in the animation and movement. I really love the jumping! The footprints are also a nice touch. I wish there were a few more interactions but perhaps I am being greedy. Thanks for the lovely game I had a great time:)

The Epic Quest For The Mighty Croissant by 0x0 2017-05-01T19:26:57Z

Great work on this game! Really impressed with all of the environments, details, and lighting! Funnily enough I actually felt a bit sick from the level transitions which is weird because I don't usually get like that. The only downside is the controls are a bit too lose and I found it frustrating that you couldn't attack while moving! I think that keyboard inputs would really help (just my 10c). Once again fantastic job!

Colorfly by Zelos 2017-05-02T16:43:58Z

The music and mood in your game is excellent! The variation of levels is cool but the gameplay is similar and a bit slow at times but then again I feel like the slowness adds to the mood. What I would really love to see is a variation in the trees depending on the makeup of orbs that are used to create them as well as perhaps a change in the butterfly (either wing colours or glow/trail) depending on the orbs you pick up. You probably thought of these things but just didnt have time but I thought I would give my 10c! :) Once again, well done on the game!

Monolith by samlo 2017-05-01T19:32:31Z

You really nailed it on the game feel, art and gameplay! Excellent job! Definitely the best game I have played so far! One gripe that I have is that there is no way to keep locking on and dodge the enemies. So perhaps if you added something like a 'lean' that would allow you to move the crosshair a bit so you can dodge while not losing your lock. Just a thought :)

Also if you ever decide to make a tutorial on how to make something like this or release the source code please let me know :D

Bio Noid by zetashocker 2017-05-02T20:32:53Z

Wow! The art and animation is incredible! I can't believe how much you managed to create in such a short time! You manage to create a really cool game mood and the music is awesome. I like the variety of the different bosses and I didn't realise that you could get out of your armor until a few rounds in which is a game changer.

While you manage to get a lot of good juice and cool game feel, I feel like you could ramp it up in some places since it does feel like you were going for a fast paced action game. Check out this cool video on game feel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJdEqssNZ-U&t=1509s <----There are some really cool tips and tricks there.

The character controls were also a little bit clunky, it was quite frustrating that you couldn't shoot in the air, that there was no strafing and sometimes it felt like the character would get stuck which could throw off timing for a dodge/jump.

Otherwise, you made an excellent game. Great job :D

Space Raiders by Smeax 2017-05-10T20:01:45Z

Definitely one of the best games I have played so far! And by far the most addictive. I played way more rounds than intended! :D

Some really great juice in this game and the art is really well done! I really like all the gore! If you take this further I think having the enemies give a bit of feedback like flashing when they are hit would be cool because right now it is hard to tell which enemy you are shooting when aiming at a crowd of them. Being able to use the resources to construct a few more things like a wall or something so that you can control the flow of enemies could be cool. One frustrating thing is not being able to attack the enemies when you are out of bullets. Maybe adding a low powered close combat attack would maybe help?

Really impressed with what you made! Especially since you were only one person! So congrats on making such a cool game!

Cosmic Cleaner by Burgee 2017-05-10T20:12:17Z

Well done on the game! I enjoyed playing it :) The are is well done and the music makes it really relaxing to play. Really liked the planet animations! It took a bit of time to get used to the physics-based mechanics but once you get the hang of it, it works well. I do like the x's from the previous attempt. It is a really nice touch!

Fatal System Error by David Bocek 2017-05-01T19:36:45Z

Very impressed with this game! The visual style and feel is so rad! It is quite brutal though :P

eiland by rubna 2017-05-01T19:01:26Z

This is a lovely game, it is succinct and has a great mood! Definitely one of the most polished games I have played so far! I love the style and animations! Great job!

Food Force by Kinjin 2017-05-01T19:18:07Z

Great job on the 3D models and the environment. As for gameplay I was a little bit lost. I didn't really get how the game worked. Some more player feedback in the form of UI or positive/negative sounds would help the player understand what is going on :)

LD42 — Running out of space

CRAMMM: Totally Accurate Studying Simulator by tuism 2018-08-15T12:09:54Z

Well done on the impressive compo entry, It is really well scoped and polished! Also the mechanic is really interesting and fits the theme so well!

The art is awesome and I like the music but it gets quite repetitive after a bit. Others have mentioned it but I am also just going to mention that I did find the RNG a bit frustrating. I would try to be careful and selective but then would get screwed at the end. So I adopted the "throw everything out" approach to playing which is less interesting.

I am not sure if it was the web build but some of my clicks weren't being registered and a few times longer words were getting stuck half way through the characters head. It started acting like a pinball paddle XD

Congrats again on the entry!

Checkout Simulator by Fengol 2018-08-16T11:41:26Z

I also got a strong "Papers Please" vibe from this game which is really interesting! There are definitely some cool ideas that could be explored along those lines. Especially around adding time pressure on the player. Like if they break something they have to wait to get another of that product, angry customers in the line, having to wait for the manager to override "double scans", counting change or using the card machine. I would love to see some of those things explored if you decide to continue working on the idea :)

The beep sound effect was a bit jarring and could be toned down a bit and it was a bit annoying that you couldn't undo a scan if you double scanned it by mistake.

Thanks for playing Diablo!

+10 for the butt joke

Gut Reaction by blacksheepza 2018-08-16T12:14:39Z

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback @tuism! You have definitely given me some things to think about and some good pointers. Going forward I am going to try to put more effort in tying systems together. As I practice and jam more I hope to get to the point that I can put more effort into design rather than having a mad dash to get the thing working by the deadline!

Gut Reaction by blacksheepza 2018-08-17T15:54:58Z

@raccoon-js you should see "Start" at the bottom of the title screen.

What resolution are you playing at? Win or MAC?

LEO by Bracula 2018-08-17T11:31:05Z

It was very satisfying to build up the audio as you launch more satellites in this game. It gave it a really good mood. The art is also lovely!

While the debris was really cool to see when everything fell apart I found that as soon there was one crash it was very hard to recover. (I have just read your controls in the description and see that you can click to get the debris away. I would suggest showing this info in game because I imagine that I am not the only person who is going to skip the controls section and just jump straight into the game) The launching was also not as responsive as I would have liked. I didn't feel like I would be able to pull off more elaborate flight patterns. The money and timing felt very arbitrary without some sort of purchase or cool down system.

Well don on the game!

BLOCKADE by PixelJerry 2018-08-17T12:07:10Z

I really like the idea of this game and it definitely has some potential! As others have said, I also found it a bit too easy but I would love to see some more exploration around these mechanics!

Well done :D

This Way Up by Virtual Window 2018-08-17T11:58:11Z

Firstly well done on getting a game out with such a huge team! Kudos to the teams communication skills!

The start screen is cool but it took me a few moments to realise that I was looking at the menu, it felt like something more was going to happen. The buttons need to stick out a bit more, especially since there are other images that look like the buttons.

The audio and art is awesome! I really like the detail on the props and the animations that made the level feel alive. There is a great deal of polish in this game which is fantastic! The level layout is really interesting but I found it hard to tell where I was able to traverse. The walk cycle of the main character makes the movement feel sluggish and it felt odd while running. Also I found it hard to swap between the player characters. I wasn't able to tell but do the characters move at different speeds when holding different weighted boxes? If not why not? It would add an extra layer in the decision making.

I can see it being similar to games like Overcooked or even Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetim, where you have to work together towards a goal. One being against the clock, the other being against foes. It would be cool if you could play against another team and sabotage their packages or conveyor belts. Unfortunately your game didn't have much of an incentive to fill up the trucks other than the fact that you could. Without some sort of driving force, it just felt like a chore which wasn't very fun. With a bit more work on developing that aspect, I think you would have a really awesome game!

Fuel Jump by Zahab_AQ 2018-08-24T13:34:40Z

Well done on submitting a game, you managed to do quite a lot considering it is your first game! Don't worry about getting everything done, learning how to correctly scope your game is something that everyone struggles with!

The graphics are cool! There are also some interesting mechanics that you could explore in your game idea. Instead of making the controls more responsive, you could make the player move slowly and gather momentum like how it would be if you were really trying to run around in space. You could consider using air/oxygen as your thruster so that the player has to balance using the air to propel them and making sure they have enough to survive!

Anyway, congrats again on completing your first game!

If you have some time, I would really appreciate feedback on my game, Gut Reaction!

Acreage by pomb 2018-08-16T11:55:10Z

This is very cool! The art is lovely and bar the lack of sound it is really juicy and the animations are really satisfying!

I would love to see a tutorial or maybe a more in depth description of how to play because it does seem really interesting, I just have't quite grasped it yet.

One thing I did notice is that the RNG is maybe a bit too random. In one round I didn't see the statue or building plans at all which was frustrating since I gathered a bunch of wood.

Definitely going to give it a few more tries and try figure out some strategies. Well done on the cool game!

Eggstra Space by thegreentofu 2018-08-24T14:06:38Z

I really liked the premise and the game has a lot of potential but the janky collisions became very frustrating, mostly because it took so long to implement the solution that you know you need to do. If you could work on speeding that up or varying the puzzles a bit more it would be really cool! I would love to see more if you are planning to work on it further!

If you have some time I would really apprieciate any feedback/thoughts on my game, Gut Reaction!

Move_LD42 by Diablo 2018-08-16T11:31:28Z

I like the clean art style and the tiles moving under the player is a nice touch! The level generation is also really cool but a bit slow (it would be cool if you could skip it) but maybe thats just me being impatient.

The controls were a bit frustrating and is strange that it doesnt match to the orientation of the tiles. As others have mentioned I also didn't realise there was a jump until way later (and its a bit weird)

Some simple sound effects (bfxr) and music would have gone a long way and another easy win would be to change the base font but I guess I am just being a bit nit picky.

Overall well done on getting a game done in such a short time!

Ranger Danger by Ryan Wickman 2018-08-24T14:25:19Z

Really rad to see you implemented some interesting algorithms in the jam! I like the ranger design and the game idea is really interesting. I just wish there were some more mechanics/verbs that the player could do.

Just some quick, random thoughts: - I'm not sure what the purpose of the coins are? If you decide to work on the game further it would be cool to use them for upgrading your ranger to give them more abilities. - The coughing sfx seemed to just be random, it would have been useful to use it as a warning of when you are close to the fire. - I got stuck in the trees a lot. Often I would move between two one way and then was unable to go back. So I think the collisions need some tweaking. - Some ambient music or even fire sounds for the background would have really added to the mood. I don't know if you have tried out freesound.org , but they have a great library of free sfx and I would highly recommend you check it out for your next Jam! - It is quite hard to see the "exit" gap in the trees and I didn't know that it was an exit until I randomly walked over it. Maybe increasing the size of the gap or adding some sort of sign would really help the player.

Anyway, congrats on getting a game submitted on time for the jam!

If you have some time, I would really appreciate feedback/thoughts for my game, Gut Reaction!

LD46 — Keep it alive

Efi by ludipe 2020-04-21T21:30:11Z

This game gives me Super Meat Boy flashbacks, the short levels and quick resets which makes you want to have one more try. Its so good! I also really liked how the level mechanics changed things up. I died so many times panicking before even getting to the speed boost pads!

Keep It Alive by danman9914 2020-04-26T13:55:37Z

Hands down the best submission I've played so far! The scope and execution of the game is incredible. A big congrats to you.

Looking forward to seeing it on the top of the charts :D

Im not really into point n click adventure games but this one really drew me in! The art and mood in this game is incredible! I also got stuck with some gameplay which is really sad but I definitely want to pick it up and try again.

Awesome job!

ADRENA-LINE by managore 2020-04-21T21:19:34Z

Really tight game, and super impressive that you made it in such a short time! Well done!

Tiny Fragments by Daniel Moreno 2020-04-26T13:07:44Z

Really cool and well made entry! It all works together so well.

The puzzle pacing is done really well and the introduction of mechianics definitely keeps the game interesting.

HENCHLINGS by Rohun 2020-04-21T20:57:33Z

The art style and palette are super cool! I really like the simplicity of the game design and managed to get into a really good rhythm, in the end I stopped on day 50. I really like the juggling aspect and the tension of the X3 popping up just after you send one of your henchlings to another station. I think my only bit of feedback would be to have had some sort of event or state change that forces the player to change up their strategy.

Awesome job :D

Dr. Noir by UnidayStudio 2020-04-26T12:43:33Z

Awesome job! The graphics are cool, the concept is funny and well executed and I really enjoyed the virus effects!

Solais by dragonxvi 2020-04-26T14:39:52Z

Cool submission! The art, audio and graphics are really great. The darkness made it quite hard to see what was coming and so it requred a few deaths to know what to expect. I do like that getting dowsed by water gave you some leeway and allowed you to reignite your torch if you were quick enough.

Overall it was fun and you did a great job in such a short time :)

The visuals of this game are really lovely and the music suits it so well! My only frustration was that I couldnt really judge where the ball was going which caused me to miss a bunch.

The game is super polished so a big well done to the two of you!

Lamps by qkjosh 2020-04-26T12:59:22Z

The atmosphere in this game is awesome and well done for not only rigging/animating the dog but it seems like you made a bunch of content in terms of rooms! The dog sounds was a bit repetitive and jarring at times which sort of broke the atmosphere but everything else was great.

While I haven't managed to quite finish it yet, the game is really intriguing and I really want to find out what's behind those glowing doors!

Great job on creating this in a jam!

platformEGG by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2020-04-27T09:50:39Z

Well done on creating something so polished! The art is really cool.

I found the fail state really punishing. I wish a fail would just restart the level instead of restarting the whole game. I really wanted to finish the game but gave up after having to redo the same levels a few times. I also found the timing of the trap movement really odd and hard to parse which added to the frustration of the hard fail state.

Overall though its a really solid submission. Awesome job!

Keeping Itt Alive by ashashza 2020-04-21T21:12:32Z

Nice job! I really love the proc animation of the legs. Definitely a big win! It took a bit of time to get used to the attack patterns (Those mantis' are real jerks!) but its cool that your attack can also be used to defend. I also used the rocks as moveable barriers which was great!

Sometimes the heart drops were flung outside of the level which is particularly sad when you have one hit left and a ton of enemies to take out XD

Well done on getting so much done by yourself!

Body and Soul by blabberf 2020-05-09T08:28:23Z

CYBER LANCER by juegoman 2021-10-04T20:28:46Z

I think a bit more feedback would be really useful for the player so that they have more time to react and make decisions. The game over screen is a bit abrupt and I found it hard to know how I died.

Well down on getting your entry in!

Broken Ship by Wamien 2021-10-04T19:46:11Z

I always find games like this quite compelling and can easily imagine people trying to speed run it. I completely missed the transmitter for a while which made things so much harder! It's a cool idea, I just found the controls a bit sensitive and the grabbing was a bit tricky. Some feedback for when you're in range of the cubes would be really useful.

Polygonal Animal Stacking by Flying Dog Fish 2021-10-04T19:51:06Z

The art style is really charming and it definitely stand out for the choice of medium. There is definitely a good balance of humour and heartbreak while trying to save all the animals and then everything starts slipping and chaos ensues! Great job :)

Hey, I got an error when I ran the game. Will check in again later to see if I can get it working.

The Probability of Meltdown Is Minimal by DarthBoseiju 2021-10-04T20:09:20Z

I love the atmosphere you created for the game and the sound design really adds to it! The sound the robot makes when it comes closer make the hair on the back of my neck stand up. The interactions are a bit finicky but that definitely adds to the tension of trying to take off some screws when the robot is closing in on you.

Well done on the great entry!

Ouch! by Gabriel Chan 2021-10-04T19:36:50Z

Really enjoyed your game, its a lot of fun and the art is great! My main issue was that the transitions took a bit too long after failing and sometimes the physics seemed a bit too sensitive.

Well done on your entry!

Riot City by metalboyrick 2021-10-04T19:24:44Z

Well done on getting the game done! I initially missed the part about clicking the arrows to send your soldiers out and managed to win the first level by just taking the hits haha. Its a cool game, the music did a good job of adding to the atmosphere and really well scoped.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Shrine by blacksheepza 2024-10-09T08:59:34Z

@milkwine Sorry about that. I've never had this kind of issue before. I've tried both Win11's default zipping tool and 7zip so I'm starting to think Win11 might be the issue :/

@quasilyte Thanks for playing! You're totally right, there isn't much to do at the moment and I hope to add the planned depth and some more interesting decisions sometime after the ratings. Time just got the better of me :) As for the bowl, that is cut content unfortunately. I will remove the screenshot to avoid further confusion.

@khton, @uniowl and @briibot thanks so much for playing and the kind words about the art! I'm really pleased with how the vibe of the game came together.

Shrine by blacksheepza 2024-10-09T09:18:37Z

@quasilyte haha sure! The image was from an initial mock up but I wanted the druid to have more to say about what you're doing and as you grow in power instead of just the minor part in the intro / ending.

As for the magnificent bowl, I wanted to have the tiny creatures bring you offerings instead of just a chunk of essence. They would bring you things like pebbles, leaves and water which would all be secondary resources which unlocked other types of upgrades. There was a whole plan I promise xD

@tuism, @jaco-van-hemert, @kawales thanks for playing and the feedback. I'm glad the mood and atmosphere worked. That was definitely my main focus for the jam :) As you all say there is definitely not enough to do, the feedback could be better and overall the progression is too simple. I hope to add the progression system I had in mind once the jam is done.

@kawales sorry about it not having run in background enabled. That was definitely a big oversight!

@mathstr0fficial thanks for playing and recording your gameplay. It was super fun to see! Once again highlighting the lack of feedback but your followers would go and collect the essence if you clicked on them. It would have sped things up a little bit. But yeah, it wasn't clear at all.

Build The Sun by TRASEVOL_DOG 2024-10-21T19:20:38Z

I really loved the little buddies and this game had me hooked! I definitely struggled to find pickaxes which was a bit frustrating but overall had a really great time playing it!

Little Pecker by Rohun 2024-10-21T16:10:11Z

This is such a solid and well scoped entry! I really love the art, music and wibbly physics. The gameplay is simple and compelling and it even has a proper ending!

Well done on the great jam!

Gacharms by namnam 2024-10-14T16:50:53Z

Amazing art and I had fun playing it. I really like the "cry for more money" touch, so good!

Slimeow Game by Quan Ran 2024-10-14T16:42:50Z

Really cool entry, well done!

I really like the art style and the loop feels well balanced if a lil slow in the beginning but I really enjoyed it overall!

Hamster Shelter by Doonutsaur 2024-10-21T16:28:49Z

I really loved the art and the interpretation of the theme. Well done on the super cool entry!

Hive Havoc by Tkap1 2024-10-14T17:03:41Z

I found myself really compelled even though it took me a moment to figure out what was happening. I really enjoyed it! Nice entry!

Chef, yes chef! by blacksheepza 2018-04-26T06:10:16Z

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! Yeah, I agree with you about the scoring/timing. It would definitely help. At least when you spam spacebar you create a complete mess in a once pristine kitchen, which is in part of the fun :)

Chef, yes chef! by blacksheepza 2018-04-28T07:27:39Z

Hey @TayGoS, we have a MAC build up now if that helps? I forgot to update the page showing it. Sorry about that. I hope that helps!

Chef, yes chef! by blacksheepza 2018-05-02T06:07:40Z

@jacklehamster, thanks for letting us know. I will take the build down and have a look into the issue. Sorry about that :/

YOU LEFT ME. by Angela He 2018-04-28T18:46:27Z

Awesome job! It's really impressive how much of a mood and atmosphere you were able to create in such a short amount of time. Unfortunately, I think that I encountered a bug because I was not able to leave the work area after going to the roof. Definitely going to give it a few more playthroughs to see all the endings :)

If you have some time we would appreciate some feedback on our game Chef, Yes Chef! which is a artillery cooking mashup : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/chef-yes-chef

Check, Please! by swav_gav 2018-04-29T19:51:14Z

Well done! Your team did an excellent job! I am still uncertain if I made it to the end or not. Is feeding her the three meatballs the last step? Because I managed to skewer 3 meatballs and shove it into her face only to have a check shoved in mine :P

I had a lot of fun figuring out the controls of this game. One thing that I found confusing was not being able to move the hand up and down. I did, however, manage to get used to it after a few rounds. It was a great experience and the polish is fantastic! A little bit more feedback on completing the tasks would help.

Congrats again on a fine game! :)

If you have a moment please consider trying out our artillery cooking game. One could even consider it a prequel to the story in your game as you have to make spag! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/chef-yes-chef

Super Slime Slasher Ultra by sebastianscaini 2018-05-08T05:57:51Z

Played your game with a gamepad and had a bunch of fun! The art is lovely! I really liked the different enemy behaviours and trying to come up with strategies to maximise the amount of points I was getting. A frustrating thing for me was getting stuck in a hit loop and losing a ton of life in one go. I think introducing some obstacles like small walls would stop the player getting trapped in a corner and might lend itself to creating more advanced strategies. Well done!

Tempo Quest by Pixel-boy 2018-05-08T06:16:53Z

Incredible job! I am quite speechless with how much you managed to do in such a short time! Very well done :D
