Good game, very good mood music, controls are a littel difficult, but you learn quickly
This was a fun game to play. nice graphics. i kept spilling the wine ;)
I dont think i won? i guess the check means i lost each time?
Had fun, and played til my elbow hurt, but I still couldn't quite get those darn meatballs where they belonged. I think my date was feeling a little... disrespected a few times.
Really charming, and things fit together very nicely! Obviously it's all really clumsy but I enjoyed that about a lot. Nice entry!
Very charming! The difficult controls fit in perfectly and contributed to the fun of the game. I love that the UI was minimal--pay attention to your date! The first playthrough, I couldn't get the wine task to clear. Her glass was full... so I filled it more... and then it overflowed. The subsequent playthroughs were just fine though!
I also liked how there were multiple possibilities. The first time I played, I just tried to feed her the meatballs with my hands... like a savage. Sorry! The second time, I picked up the fork and fed her that way. Loved that!
Great entry!
I don't think my date was very good company though. She just sat there and kept asking me to do things like feed her and pour her wine. I snuck out when I said I went to the bathroom.
This is so much fun! Hilarious to play and looks amazing! Well done guys! :)
Took me several failed sessions to figure out how to pick up the match, but after that... I laughed out loud when the meatballs arrived. :D I can really appreciate the work that went into this since my game is in a similar vein (physics sandbox solitaire). Nice work!
Wow, really nice use of the theme! First entry so far that I've played that got it this good. I could definetely see this growing with even more things to do on the date. Congrats!
Difficult but tons of fun! Great job!
Twinsies!

Great game guys! Highly ammusing had some difficulty with the meatballs but I think that the date went well.
Lovely game!! Really enjoyed playing it! I like the music and art. The start is impressive!
Some feedback tips: - on mac apple mouse cant click left + right at the same time, so an alternative on keyboard may help! - i found movements a bit slowly at response - meatballs was very hard to feed on the dish xD
[play our game :)](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/dance-invaders)
Dunno if I won or not but i got stuck at the meatballs and getting the check all the time.
Nice mustache Easter egg? hahaha.
Really interesting concept.
Controls were a bit hard to know how to make them work but funny results like surgeon simulator
I really liked it, its very fun to play, the audio is cool and the mechanics are good!
Everything physics based is my favorite and this one is super cute and funny! Sometimes this is how I feel in public when my anxiety levels go crazy, haha!
Yet another Surgeon simulator, but maaan I loughed so much! She was not very happy with me pouring wine on her and throwing the meatballs around :D *** Here is our game feel free to check it out: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/jumpcard
Short and sweet, with some time and polish this could be really funny!
Stupid fun! I like how it resets things if you mess up something
A really fun to play, quick but easily enjoyable game ! I really like the system of "ask" from the date, it's a really clever idea and really made the game flow pretty well, even if the game over was maybe too brutal. Other wise, the stupid physics was really well made for a 72h game and it really feel good to play it !
The game is absolutely hilarious and fun! The menus and credits were also a really nice touch. The only downside is that the game was extremely short, and I would've loved more. To be fair, it's a jam game, and it looks like a lot of time was spent on creating the environment, which looks fantastic.
I'M INCAPABLE OF POURING MY DATE WINE
The art is pretty great and the game was fun to try, but I suck at this. :P´
The game looks really nice and it's a pretty cool idea. Now I want a VR Version of this. :D Good job!
I absolutely love having the title card and controls on the menu, and the credits on the bill, great polish!
This is 100% hilarious - great concept and awesome job embracing the theme!
Very funny game! Great mood too :) Good job!
Hahahaha had a good time playing your game : D It's really funny It can definitely make a real game with a more scenes, and more events possibilites. I loved the graphic style and the way you show score at the end of the game I liked the music too, as a beatmaker myself, but i thought the mood was too punchy for your scene. It would need some more delicate jazzy feeling ^^
Anyway, great job guys
Here's our game : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/blocksnblaster-1
You get 5s in all the categories. This was awesome. The only downside was the wasn't enough tasks, it ended too soon.
Loved it! I only wish there was more. Feeding the meatballs could've used some more feedback though. Definitely checking out Dj Quads too because that track was dope.
Super short and sweet but extremely well polished. In my personal estimation, the length of a game jam creation isn't all that relevant and you pretty much nailed everything else. It's not even my kind of game and I still loved it!
I did struggle a bit at first figuring out how to move my hands up and down, so some clearer instruction there would have been helpful. Overall though, fantastic job! Too bad my date was kind of a bitch...
The moustache :-) LoL
The only thing is that I didn't understand if I have lost or completed the game
Hahahaha! Took a few tries but I got it. I wish it were a little longer. All together though really good work! If you want to check out my game you can find it here: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/dating-sim-hell
I will be back to play again on Win. Could not rotate at all on trackpad. Looking forward to a play through with a mouse. I wouldn't bring this up- other than to show that even though my controls were screwed up- the game as a whole didn't fail! That's a solid concept. As I bumbled around trying to rotate and simultaneously stop swiping to other desktops- my date asked for the check. I thought that was brilliant and added another (maybe happy accident) meta layer of game design. Bravo and thanks for the game!
A short game with a very clear objective: make you forget your last embarrassing date! :P
For a title that selected a nice song for ambience, it was sad to see it have no sound effects whatsoever.
It seems to me that in this game there is no loss condition, which for a physics-based dating-sim is not a requirement as the fun and the challenge of the game relays on the manipulation of the environment.
Please be sure to check my game Dance Dance Road Rage Revolutions https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/dance-dance-road-rage-revolutions
Feel like the old time. Love it :) lmao
My best congratulations guy. Very good job.
Nice concept, controls are a little difficult to take in hand but it's a well done game with good 3d and good sound choice.
Its a bit short, the concept is ok, but as you only have 3-tasks to preform before its over it never have time to develop into more bizarre circumstances. Every solution also feels like it should have a bit more freedom to be preformed, to present it feeling extremely linier.
However, that said, It is a solid base. It's very nicely presented and has a great mood. Just needs a bit more time and basically a story that develops as we go further in and makes this date as "great" as we can. It kind of reminded me of the game "Dinner Date" from 2011, where your stood-up on a date at your home, getting more depressed as time goes by, would recommend check it out.
That game is really fun!And i really like the graphics!
Awesome! The graphics and sounds are great! She doesn't eat the 3 meatball. Good job!
If you want you can try my game on this link: [Scarry](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/scarry)
Very good game! It's really funny to see the girl get angry ^^ And... wow i don't even know what to say! GG.
Here is our game if you want, it's a date sim too but mixed with a fight game^^ For 2 players. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/date-fighter
Fun but got to watch the video review before understanding that I kept on failing on the wine. Should have "you failed" screen so it's clear that there is more content. :-)
I have mixed feelings about this game. On the one hand I think the ideas is great and the concept holds water. The difficulty progression seems fair however I could not get far enough because I experienced some issues. First, I tried playing in Windowed mode to ensure I could close the game (just in case ESC didn't do it) but that present problems as the mouse is not locked within the window and I kept stepping outside the window. So I tried full screen but my resolution was not right so everything was zoomed in. Still, I think this has great potential.
I'm not sure if I was winning or losing... A bit of feedback like shadows under where your hand is, and notes telling you when you did something wrong/right/weird would be nice. The graphics were cute, and the music fit really well
Great concept, execution could use some work. If there's some sort of scoring system it's not very clear. The mouse sensitivity was WAY too low; it needs to be adjustable. It was a bit short but I assume that was just the time constraints. Could be a REALLY hilarious game if developed further. Hope you do!
Surprisingly, playing this game was easier than dates IRL. =) This wonderful 3D models accompained by the light and music made the atmosphere of the game. However, I'm still not sure whether I won or lost, maybe some notifications could make it clear. All in all, the game is cool and original, glad I found it.
Very cute and funny game! Uncomfortable, that when rotation the hand she comes back
I loved the graphics! The game is really fun to play. This is a good take on the theme. Good job!
Please, take a look at mine game too: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/confessional
I always date like this :bird: neat graphics btw
Looking good! Loved the intro with the menu, and peeking over it! Classic physics based fun, and two very incompatible genres, all in all, good job :)
I had a lot a fun. And the most success on a date I've had for years. I can't wait for her to call me back!!
In seriousness, this was good fun to play! Some glitchy physics stuff but that is to be expected when taking on such complex mechanics! Two valid genres combined, the face feedback was good, would have liked more feedback when I knew I had completed the game - as it was the same as when I lost the game! I'm sure people will remember this game, good job!
Ha-ha, a little bit too hard for me, but fun enough!
Fun idea! Would have been nice to have sounds for anything. It made the interactions feel weak. I was expecting controls more similar to Surgeon Simulator. Having a single rotation axis and locking to one plane felt basic. I really liked the overall art direction, and all the assets look like they are part of one cohesive idea. It would have been nice to incorporate more ideas from a dating sim, like making choices. Instead it was just "do task x" hopefully you succeed. Very short, but sometimes shorter is better. Nice job!
Hahahahaha. The game is so funny. I just threw everything on her face because I am pretty bad on dates. The things were all over the place and you have to place the glass and bottles very precisely otherwise they fall down and she gets mad. The music is HAVANA? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO FEED HER MEATBALLS????
Well done! Your team did an excellent job! I am still uncertain if I made it to the end or not. Is feeding her the three meatballs the last step? Because I managed to skewer 3 meatballs and shove it into her face only to have a check shoved in mine :P
I had a lot of fun figuring out the controls of this game. One thing that I found confusing was not being able to move the hand up and down. I did, however, manage to get used to it after a few rounds. It was a great experience and the polish is fantastic! A little bit more feedback on completing the tasks would help.
Congrats again on a fine game! :)
If you have a moment please consider trying out our artillery cooking game. One could even consider it a prequel to the story in your game as you have to make spag! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/chef-yes-chef
The graphics and music are absolutely incredible. The production value in this is excellent! The controls work well, although I did find that when I accidentally knocked the salt off the table, it got into an endless spawning loop to my left. Easy to overlook issues like that though when the rest of the presentation is just so dang awesome! Amazing job!
I enjoyed the concept, but I found the mouse sensitivity too low to enjoy playing it for long. As with others I kept failing on the wine-pouring stage, not sure why it's not letting me progress?
Interesting choice of themes, and I'm always a fan of physics based games.
Really nice in game UI (the menu at the start and the check at the end) as well :)
Would be nice if the check gave a little more feedback on if you won or why you lost.
Lovely graphics and the core concept is great. Sometimes it was a bit too hard to grab the object I wanted, some visual feedback on when I can grab something might help. But overall it's a pretty polished game and really fun. Congrats! :-)
Great concept! I loved the absolutely fitting, comedic yet classy music. The visual effects were pro level (love the bloom and colors!) Lots of great small details (changing facial expressions, trash friend discount -r/meirl). The cons: Framerate felt low (like 10 or 5 per sec)/laggy on both my Macbook and iMac, felt hard to play with a trackpad, and I had difficulty with rotating in the direction I wanted to rotate in. Ultimately I never could pick up the match and just played around picking up the larger objects, watching my date get more infuriated. Loved it nonetheless though!
Quite short but really fun! Had an issue where my mouse wouldn't snap to the window edges, which made navigating a little harder, but after restarting the game it fixed itself. Otherwise, cheers!
Very fun, I really like the way the intro and game over are blended with the game environment. The physics are a little bit wonky even for this type of game but it didn't impact my fun. The art is really great with a nicely unified palette. I guess it could have been clearer when I was failing or winning? I think I succeeded at the meatballs bit and that was the end of the game, but I'm not entirely sure from the feedback the game gave me. Great entry overall anyway.
Haha that is a great mix! It worked very well! I think we have here one of the best games of this jam! Good job!
alright.. i ruin the date . very well presentation of the game, love the music and arts. really enjoyed this, good job
This is a great entry. I love the date's facial expressions, and showing the instructions and credits on the menu and check is a really nice touch.
Assigning a score -- based on time, the eventual cost of all the things you smashed, or the date's mood -- would be a great way to improve the replayability of what you already have. I played through a few times and I _feel_ like I did better, but I didn't see this reflected anywhere.
I’m not sure if you were able to see it, but I played your game on my stream at https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames tonight.
It reminded me of Octodad or Surgeon Simulator.
I am not sure why my date started out with a mustache. I found that slightly odd. Even more confusing was the fact that the mustache fell off during the date.
The controls were a bit too loose. I was trying to pour wine but hit the cup which refused to right itself, thus putting me in a broken state. Is there a way to lift the arm up, so it is not running through the plate and table?
It didn't feel like two incompatible genres to me. Everything worked together, and it feels like it fits perfectly into the existing genre of physics games.
This game was hilarious. I couldn't get past the wine-pouring task. The controls were just too unintuitive. But perhaps that was supposed to be part of the challenge. It just made it more hilarious, as I continuously knocked the glass off the table and watched the wine spill onto the tablecloth. Really appreciated that I could see the stain. This game hits out of the park for me in humor, theme, mood, all those. I wish I had the patience to complete the wine task, since it looks like there's more fun stuff, but after two failures (really inventive credits, by the way), I had to give up. Well done!
Good job! Cool game!
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/41/witchs-escape
Tons of fun! My biggest complaint by far is that there wasn't enough things to do in the game.
Found the controls a little hard, but I guess that's normal for hand simulators XD Loved the awkwardness of it all!
Very stupid and very fun :joy: I love the weird stuff you can do with the hand. If I had to say anything, I'd say it's too short  but it's great overall!
This is pretty good, the whole thing looks very professionnal, the music is fantastic, the game is fun to play [as expected], I enjoyed that, nice one :-)
5 stars! When I used a mouse to pour wine into the cup I felt skilled. If you continue to develop this, when I tried a trackpad, I didn't find a way to tilt items.
This is absolutely brilliant entry. I like the hand physics (way different from my game ;)
Art was great. Liked wine pouring :) Gameplay physics is very well done. Short but thats undrstandable.
Rated pretty much 5 stars for everything. Congraz to the whole team.
