LD19 — Discovery

Anacalypse by bildramer 2010-12-25T20:42:00

I got all the things. It was a while before I found the last. I got upset looking around and finding duplicates of things I had without being able to distinguish what was something I hadn't found yet. I guess you have considered a system by which the player may infer some positions of some items? For example, sonar in LD19 search & bump, or minesweeper.

Disco? Very! by Tom 7 2010-12-26T20:35:00

Love the funny title, music, the moves, and the disco dance floor battle! The room switching at the jump point from the underground after getting the X move nearly gave me a seizure.

City State: Inspired Destiny by quin 2010-12-28T18:33:00

I'm fond of Civilization, so the tech tree similarities stand out. It's nice to have a familiar set of options (Writing, Animal Husbandry, Irrigation). After I was wiped out by war in the 2000s BC, I didn't stay with this one to try again. Maybe there's some interesting divergence from Civilization just a thousand years ahead of me, but as I saw text counters incrementing, I did not feel the story of progress. I felt a bit impatient and expecting another aspect.

Penguin! by Meep 2010-12-28T18:49:00

Brilliant tutorial on the controls! Besides the cute animation, the scribbled drawings cleverly gave me hints of what to do. I mistook the glyphs for "Z" and "X" for some sort of drawing. I got stuck at the first big creature underwater who ate me twice. I didn't try a third time, because neither z nor x seemed to get me out of the pond or out of the creature's mouth. I missed something. Also, the cute animation could be larger. While the character waddled across the screen, I got impatient. When I restarted from the beginning (hoping instead to restart just that screen), I got very impatient. Yet altogether, it's charming! I hope next time to _play_ as this adorable, pre-literate penguin.

Here Be Monsters! by ethankennerly 2010-12-20T15:14:00

Thanks Quin! I added that to my todo list. Now recovering from the weekend's crunch...

Here Be Monsters! by ethankennerly 2010-12-21T23:03:00

@Starspell and @Dslayer27: Absolutely needs a world map. Alas, if only I had finished that. Likewise for sound effects. I've bumped these to the top of my post-compo todo list.

@Sos: Like double speed? Do not dare press Ctrl-3 (quadruple speed). Quadruple speed is sheer madness. You have been warned. Return to normal speed at once! (press Ctrl-1).

Here Be Monsters! by ethankennerly 2010-12-22T18:04:00

Thanks Steve! I have an idea to make the treasure more rewarding. For what it's worth, the red ruby is worth 20 gold.

Here Be Monsters! by ethankennerly 2010-12-23T20:37:00

Thanks Ranklar for your insight! I'll consider ways to complete it faster. If you're an insanely talented sailor, you could try the double speed Ctrl-2, but never ever try Ctrl-3 (quadruple speed). ^_^ And I'll consider uses for the treasure.

Here Be Monsters! by ethankennerly 2010-12-25T20:13:00

@thristhart: You made my Christmas. ^_^ Thanks. Good job mapping the whole the world! Although I guess I've played it more than anyone else, only one time did I get 100%

Voyage of Discovery by alexlarioza 2010-12-25T21:00:00

The depth of the system impressed me. I got stuck when I accidentally tried to colonize an island I already colonized. I couldn't figure out how to get out of the colonize prompt. I enjoyed finding islands and colonizing them. I was confused at first how I control the ship and how to attack, explore, and so on. Then I read the instructions. ^_^

Dodge and Collect! by Elegwa 2010-12-26T20:16:00

I enjoyed the first five seconds. Of course in the shoot'em ups I usually play, there's much more than asteroids, so my expectations are high. Maybe there was (or will be) more.

Treasure Island by suvozit 2010-12-23T20:58:00

I did not realize I was being eaten by the gray squiggles; maybe some sound effects for attacking? I love the gray squiggles, reminded me of aliens in Starflight. Nice job on the color palette and pixelated tiles. For the most part, I think the chiptune sounds are appropriately iconic partners for the images. Instructions also nicely minimalistic. After a while, though, being slowly chased felt repetitive. I guess I wanted something different to do?

It's A Frickin' CAVE by Hempuli 2010-12-23T21:12:00

I like the attack sounds and the black corner tiles and brown palette, and the red fill when I die. But I died quickly, before I got cool toys to play with. I wasn't sure at first what determines when I get hit. I thought my timing was pretty good, but I must be missing some cue.

Ominous by gsw 2010-12-26T20:09:00

besides the above comments, after half a dozen levels i got a little frustrated with clicking and being right or wrong, but usually not feeling like I gained insight into the puzzle. maybe I'm playing while too tired.

Dinosaur Dance-Off by Draknek 2010-12-23T21:03:00

I think you've got potential. It's a stretch of my imagination to consider the wobbly rubble that fell the skeleton of a creature. Dancing off with others interested me. But it like at least one dino (posted above) beat me without having seeing any bones at all.

Search&Bump by Balooga03 2010-12-25T20:25:00

I like the sound the and visual indicator of sonar. I also want more to do and think about doing. Oddly, on my setup, I could not get it to play in Chrome or Internet Explorer. On Chrome it said something like "overwrite sys.screen.draw". So I played in Firefox.

LD24 — Evolution

A Game of Towns by homelinen 2012-08-28T06:00:00

The simulation of fire, forest, villagers, and towns fascinated me. They made such a big town after a few spontaneous clicks that I didn't know how to improve.

Tileshift by ioquatix 2012-08-27T01:34:00

Cute. Currently stuck on second map. I probably missed some obvious instruction.

Conway's Revenge by Nick Knowlson 2012-08-27T01:57:00

Watching the simulation update entranced me. Did seem more stable than Conway's. I'm not sure which color I was supposed to get to win or what input to the dynamic system would bring that about.

Ultimate Plant by nimblegorilla 2012-08-27T02:01:00

Clear and thoughtful!

Super Clew Land by Team Clew 2012-09-16T23:25:00

Enjoyed jumping and swimming. Confused for a few minutes how to evolve.

Star Explorers of the United Nations by chardish 2012-08-28T06:23:00

I also enjoyed the graphics and sounds. A complete and satisfying 2-day game! Look forward to playing a follow-up into evolving enemy paths, bullets, and bosses with appendages or drones.

If you continue this STELLAR 2-day game, it would be nice to see telegraphing the alien moves, and some patterns with pauses or predictable backtracking. The L-moving alien never paused, which was unlike most enemies in shmups that I like.

The Balance by mr_Hk_ 2012-08-27T01:41:00

Stunning graphics, including the dynamic brushstroke trail! You really made this from scratch in 48 hours? Even the title screen image? I bow to your artistic alacrity.

While playing, at first I thought I had to collect red or blue. After a couple minutes, I guessed I would get the meter to center by alternating red and blue collections. Not sure what is supposed to come after doing that.

Evolution VS 1000 kittens by Citiral 2012-08-27T01:55:00

I like the upgrade menu a lot. At first the keyboard control map confused me.

Microbia PLUS by colincapurso 2012-08-27T01:32:00

Graphics are adorable. In the 48 hours version of the game, not sure if my mouse clicks affect anything.

Biovolve by Cryptix 2012-08-27T02:12:00

I like the look and sound. I got the colored spheres. Is there something more to do?

Glider Drop by tomhunt 2012-08-28T05:55:00

Conway's Life fascinates me. Looks slick! I was not quick-witted enough to devise a tactic for keeping many blocks alive. The red blocks erupted chaotically, and I failed to reproduce my result.

LD25 — You are the Villain

The Good Doctor by Sestren 2012-12-17T03:41:00

The thought balloons that appear as I walk gives me the background while letting me explore. The rats following me felt sinister! If you continue developing, I'd like to know where to go after I've gathered half a dozen rats.

You are the VLAN by myachin 2012-12-23T21:09:00

Eerie and interesting! The music and text from a previously enslaved computer with several references to past and present computer systems evoked an eerie mood. The F1/0 TCP game of walking around and intercepting packets got me moving. If you continue to develop this, do you imagine that portraying the TCP packet interception exercise in something that might evoke the nature of network router might engage me further?

Guardian Angel Devil by Serilyn 2012-12-24T00:02:00

The pixel art and dungeon setting attracted me. If you continue to develop this, would it be more engaging to speed up the pace of the initial combats?

Dungeon Overlord: Master of the Queue by bwdevel 2012-12-18T06:03:00

I quickly understood I was buying skeletons to stop the hero from getting to the gold. The layout was simple. Perhaps a twist at an advanced level to mix up the action would engage further.

TYRANOFORCE by blob 2012-12-17T20:03:00

Awesome images and solid user interface. You made this weekend great!

Ludum Dare: The Musical by cageinabird 2012-12-17T03:10:00

Charming illustrations and melodies. Funny and villainous lyrics in each menu. Bravo!

Trina of The Depths by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2012-12-23T22:11:00

The octopus squirting and spinning along with the whimisical melody engaged me. If you continue to develop this, after a few fish and yellow circles, I was looking to deepen my choice and was feeling a bit uncertain of how I would deftly direct the octopus.

You naughty beast! by goerp 2012-12-18T05:37:00

I peed and pooped, but the birds ate all my trees!

Gnome Alone by bitwise-constructs 2012-12-18T05:55:00

The music entertained me. When I saw the opening levels it was clear to me how to switch the signs direct the heroes to their doom. Occasionally I was not sure how to click on a sign with a reddish mark.

The Best of Me by zatyka 2012-12-23T23:20:00

The introductory monologue revealed the character's dilemma and identity crisis, was he a villain? The stealth power interested me. If you continue to develop this, do you imagine widening the arc of guard's vision would maintain my suspension of disbelief?

Super Mario Boss by dredlockz 2012-12-19T06:38:00

The graphics and audio are a flattering homage to the franchise. If you continue to develop this, when I am next to pipe and jump, I don't go up, which I would expect to from Super Mario Bros. I also feel a little strange not being able to backtrack.

Fetch Quest by sclark39 2012-12-22T05:52:00

The options are simple and the hero seems to respond to the opportunities. If you continue to develop, sometimes I felt a bit of effort to select and command a baddie to act.

Storm the Castle by vanZeben 2012-12-17T03:29:00

Looks, sounds and plays exciting. Fun Tower Offense! Interesting level design. If you continue developing, I'd like to keep using mouse and not switch to keyboard between levels.

You Are The Virus by Ashkin 2012-12-18T05:32:00

The maze and navigating it quickly interested me.

Diabolical Genius by deathray 2012-12-17T03:34:00

Looks sinister and the animations entertained me. Reminds me of super villain pencil and paper roleplaying games and Mafia Wars style social games. If you continue developing this, I'm curious what happens when I execute a few Diabolical Schemes, what other interactions get unlocked.

The Launch by DTG 2012-12-18T05:49:00

The detailed rooms and first person camera impressed me! When I saw the menus, I felt confused. When I clicked on a few buttons I was not sure what was being activated and how I could send minions toward the hero.

Tetris God by LeCherLich 2012-12-17T03:18:00

I'd like to play. Do you have a mac version? Can you include pygame in the source?

Space Breaker by Troyan 2012-12-17T03:18:00

I want to play. Do you have a Mac or Web version?

Puny Heroes by Blooperly 2012-12-19T06:23:00

I like the simple tower defense layout and clicking to purchase a unit. If you continue to develop this, I'd be interested to see quicker combats at each intersection.

SpaceGreed by lotusgame 2012-12-23T19:56:00

Wow! A multiplayer game in 3 days with a client and server! Building my base and attacking other players' bases interested me. I like that this is a casual shoot'em up. If you continue to develop this, I'd be curious about what makes for good base building tactics. At first it seemed like I could destroy anything I could build in my own base.

Pet Mr. Snugglebutt by JoeProgram 2012-12-18T05:25:00

I pet the kitty and got a secret agent to walk the hall. I'm not sure I understand the controls for petting the kitty.

hunt by zillix 2012-12-17T02:57:00

Hunt oozes spooky old school adventure. Interesting interactions in every room! And clever AI. They found me out and made my head explode.

Burglary by TobiasW 2012-12-23T20:26:00

Wow, managing light while remembering the paths I've taken in a tree to unlock a door was thrilling! The music brings out the mood. If you continue to develop this, I expect to engaged further into the burglary by illustrating and animating the burglar, guard, rooms, treasure and locks.

Monologuer by Devenger 2012-12-23T21:51:00

Managing time between the monologue, and dropping spikes on rescue agents entertained me. If you continue to develop this, do you imagine that later, additional traps and agents would deepen the choices?

Dungeon Mastermind by 7Soul 2012-12-23T23:13:00

Deducing efficacy of the monster and trap combination by comparing the completion times interested me. The beautifully crafted pixel art and medieval fantasy music entertained me. If you continue to develop this, after a couple of plays I'm confused on what a better tactic is for deducing the player's weaknesses.

Atomic Creep Spawner!! by deepnight 2012-12-18T05:05:00

Staggering accomplishment for a weekend or a week! Looks and sounds great. I'm curious what engine was used.

Dicktator Simulator by barigorokarl 2012-12-23T21:24:00

Funny. I liked the challenge of having wavering aim. If you continue to develop, I had trouble figuring out what I was aiming at and where my shot really went.

Sleeping Dragon by ethankennerly 2012-12-17T04:44:00

@JoeProgram and @Ashkin, yeah a perfectly timed fireball (bright yellow) does 3 damage and dominates other actions. If I continue to develop, I had in mind to add a couple of new units, tuning to timing and damage, and advanced scenarios in which spamming fireball loses. If you have other ideas or feelings around that, I'd listen to those also.

Sleeping Dragon by ethankennerly 2012-12-17T19:37:00

@ilo A minion that returns your gold and gets toasted by fire. What a hot idea!

Dungeon Warden: Rise of the Goatman by Blodyavenger 2012-12-23T23:56:00

The fantastic pixel art attracted me. Building a forest and populating it with the big gray golem like creatures entertained me. If you continue to develop this, would extra dimensions enable a rocks paper scissors to decide what is the optimal mix of dungeon and monster selection and placement?

Legithief by nddrylliog 2012-12-19T06:33:00

The opening dialog caught my interest, as did tossing flaming bottles of oil onto furniture. If you continue to develop this, I wasn't sure how I could clear a level and sometimes felt unsure how to deftly move through a room.

AnteChristmas by nSun 2012-12-17T04:30:00

Looks and sounds like an authentic Game Boy or a handheld electronic LCD game! Way to make the time constraints into your style. After I realized I had a hammer to smash with, I had fun sneaking by Santa and smashing the toys. If you continue to develop this, my laptop resolution is small, and when I pressed up or down arrow key the browser scrolled.

Dungeon Inc. by Encircle 2012-12-23T20:15:00

I enjoyed spawning goats, ghosts, and trolls to fight the warriors and wizards. If you continue to develop this, I would be curious how I can see who is winning a combat and so how to improve my unit selection and placement.

Hunter to Hunted by Jwatt 2012-12-23T20:49:00

The music, sounds, images, and motions interested me. If you continue to develop, after I learned to stand under the chute and build up tiles, I'm not sure how to improve my skills.

Soulless Robot Rampage by Falkreon 2012-12-18T05:18:00

I enjoyed upgrading and seeing how many more buildings I could destroy. Sometimes I was not sure which abilities I was activating. I activate a saw and a flame, but I had trouble distinguishing one from the other. After I got the hang of it, I destroy all. I was a little sad to see upon return to the world that there was nothing left to destroy.

Jetpack Jackass by SeanAtr0n 2012-12-19T06:43:00

During the tutorial I felt confident about the controls and goals. I feel a little embarrassed to say in the next stage I was not sure how to make progress in the game.

Flamenco, tapas & siesta by Mesene 2012-12-23T22:02:00

The images of the figures and the instructions engaged me. If you continue to develop this, I was wondering what the consequences of each faction's meter were. Would a background illustration modification tell a story of one faction's approval?

You are the hero by Houly 2012-12-23T21:30:00

The twist at the princess evoked a rye smile. If you continue to develop, I wasn't always clear where I needed to stand to swing the sword and wanted to do something more than swing a sword.

Princess Frenzy by prettymuchbryce 2012-12-18T05:30:00

Would be interested to see a computer opponent to try against when another player is not available.

Dr. Spackolo by cappelnord 2012-12-23T23:29:00

Funny! The witty dialog reminded me of Leisure Suit Larry or Bar Games or some dating adventure game like that.

Hero Must Die by CireNeikual 2012-12-22T05:57:00

I'd like to play, but I also receive a black screen on M11x AlienWare.

Dig-Dug Dungeon by bigbadwofl 2012-12-23T00:26:00

The chiptune rhythm and solid rectangles of varied dirt pleased my senses while I dug for gold and gems, built beds and summoned minions. If you continue to develop, when I had 7 imps and was beside the heroes and their relic, the game slowed down. On my laptop the HUD was just off the bottom of the screen.

LD26 — Minimalism

Defense of the corrupted Pixels by YSelf Tool 2013-05-04T22:34:00

I liked watching the result of the tower placement. If you continue to develop this: I was not sure where I was spawning units. I forgot what the colors mean. Taking turns interrupted me.

Stargazers by Cake&Code 2013-05-12T23:31:00

Tracing shapes to the airy music enchanted me. If you continue to develop this, oftentimes I did not realize I had to click and release on a star to start a line. Sometimes I would hold the mouse down and drag a little off the star, and then a line would not start.

squarespace by berkano 2013-05-12T21:46:00

Collecting resources and dodging aliens interested me. If you continue to develop this, I was imagining you're intending to expand this into managing resources somewhat like parts of the ship in Galaxy Trucker and colonizing a planet.

Gods Will Be Watching by Deconstructeam 2013-05-04T22:56:00

Outstanding! Spooky management game with adventure game interface. The characters interested me, and I felt their despair. If you continue to develop this, I was a bit lazy and wished that free actions, like counting stock, would be displayed immediately when mousing over the ammo or food.

Minimalism Tower Defence by Dew 2013-05-12T20:38:00

Watching squares shoot circles interested me. If you continue to develop this, I felt overwhelmed by the units available to buy.

F*** This Job by Casino Jack 2013-05-12T15:30:00

Timing the jumps thrilled me! Each level gradually tutored me on estimating jumps and novel enemies. Each level built on the techniques I had practiced before and required a little more precision. An interstitial tutoring level introduced a new concept. I played several levels (until Springfield)!

If you continue to develop this: a few times it felt like the controls responded a little unexpectedly, like I would hold down space and upon landing, jump again. I skipped all the action replays. I didn't understand the goal of the protagonist as it related to the level design.

Mini Pirates! by josefnpat 2013-04-30T04:06:00

The pop music entertained me and the monochrome pixel art of pirate scenes reminded me of old adventure games. I liked it. If you continue to develop this, I didn't see the stats at the bottom of the screen until halfway through the second game, and I was uncertain what changed during some encounters or events.

Twinimalism by TenTonToon 2013-05-03T05:36:00

The watercolor painting attracted me. If you continue to develop this, I was not sure what to do or why my man jumped to another side.

The Lamp by Catman 2013-05-04T22:10:00

The things barely seen moving in the dark scared me. Simple and novel. If you continue to develop this, I did not understand the colored squares that are there sometimes when light is on.

#Totally BS!: Episode Pilot by avalonknight 2013-05-08T04:49:00

The sketches lured me. If you continue to develop this, I didn't quite figure out how the number above each portal modulated.

Kriok by someone 2013-05-12T18:51:00

Sliding the circles to arrive at the destinations interested me. If you continue to develop this, I started to lose hope in level 4.

Moonshine by TravisChen 2013-05-12T23:10:00

Avoiding the bright eyes of the shadowy dogs thrilled me. If you continue to develop this, the fiery paths discouraged me.

Robot Hears Kitten by Kom 2013-05-12T19:46:00

Listening to the boxes interested me. If you continue to develop this, after hearing several boxes yet no kitty, I lost interest.

People by BenW 2013-05-18T18:11:00

The lilting cyclical music enchanted me. Finding persons fascinated me! At times I was not sure what the goal or meaning was.

Miasma by Hemuuuli 2013-04-30T03:58:00

The pixelated impostors enchanted me. The music and fog crept up on me. I read the help; I'm not sure how to get started with combining things. How would you feel about posting a newbie tutorial with step by step instructions in the description of how to get started?

shon by bitnenfer 2013-05-12T17:50:00

Planting bubbles to block purple circles interested me. If you continue to develop this, I wasn't sure what would happen when the inner circle filled the outer circle. I could plant many bubbles and they appeared instantly, so that I began to lose interest.

Circles by Are 2013-05-18T18:20:00

Listening to the scale made me feel content. At the screen "the white circle is the emitter..." i was not sure what to do next for a while.

Stalker by The Consul 2013-05-12T20:02:00

The stark photographs interested me. If you continue to develop this, it was clear to me which parts of the image would respond to mouse button, or which sides of the image connected back to which other images.

Fractured by dalbinblue 2013-05-07T04:47:00

Fascinating rotating platformer with charming pixel art! if you are developing this further, i found it easy to get into for the first few levels, yet got into a level that bewildered me; surely i did something dumb, yet i wasn't stretching my mind to see your solution.

Fractured by dalbinblue 2013-05-08T04:23:00

Fascinating rotating platformer with charming pixel art! if you are developing this further, i found it easy to get into for the first few levels, yet got into a level that bewildered me; surely i did something dumb, yet i wasn't stretching my mind to see your solution.

Rhythm Rogue by bowlercaptain 2013-04-30T05:01:00

The beats during a fight entertained me! Clever. If you continue to develop this, have you considered giving an indication when I'm off the beat how much I'm off the beat by and whether I was early or late?

Orb by Grouflon 2013-05-12T22:13:00

Seeing and hearing the planet saturate with color and grow trees lured me. If you continue to develop this, sometimes the ball would not bounce off the paddle in the direction I was expecting; compared to other Arkanoid games, I did not understand how the moving paddle would influence the bounce.

XYZ by ataxkt 2013-05-12T19:33:00

Rotating blocks to fit the silhouette interested me. The stark colors and ambient music focused me. If you continue to develop this, several times I tried all the rotations so did not feel like I was developing skill. Sometimes a shape matched that looked like it was missing half a square.

::.::::::. by rwos 2013-05-10T04:57:00

The shaking pixels on the walls and the ambient sounds lured me. If you continue to develop this, the shooting sound and image confused me.

.MONDR by Haette 2013-05-08T05:11:00

Elegant and artistic! A Mondrian I can play. This was fascinating. If you continue to develop this, I'd be curious how I could anticipate where lines and colors will appear, is there a pattern? Like in bullet hell games, there is a pattern to the bullets.

SINE by ElScootro 2013-05-12T22:22:00

Aiming to bounce the circle off of the walls and circles interested me. If you continue to develop this, the bounce music sounded unstructured.

S by rodrigomotta 2013-05-04T23:11:00

The monochrome backdrops, familiar melodies rendered in 8-bit, and colorful things to click on entertained me. If you continue to develop this, I did not follow the story told through clicking on ideograms.

Less is More? by atraxgames 2013-05-04T22:25:00

Bravo! Experimenting with the cellular automata fascinated me. The Mondrian graphics were tasteful and enriched the experience. If you continue to develop this, the background music annoyed me a little after several minutes. At first I was not sure how to interact.

mesh by nseward 2013-05-12T18:01:00

Rolling the orange gear to the blue gear interested me. If you continue to develop this, I did not understand the physics forces that were determining the path.

Line Knight by berareu 2013-05-09T05:10:00

Seeing the character traverse from one side of the line to the other to dodge obstacles and combat amused me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered exploring the other illusions of the line a little more?

Hipster Pad by nimblegorilla 2013-05-12T19:52:00

Rotating the shapes to overlap as little green carpet as possible interested me. If you continue to develop this, the arrangement of the shapes felt arbitrary.

The Last Soul by Gaeel 2013-05-08T04:31:00

The cool palette, silhouettes and ambient music and sounds felt eerie and enticing. The final soul surprised me. If you continue to develop this, introducing a second mechanism (besides the wait for a door to open) after that final soul might continue to entertain me, if it synergizes with the vibe you've evoked.

Loot Run by Spelchan 2013-05-03T04:52:00

I enjoyed to text and collecting the $$$ to start the game. If you continue to develop this, on Windows Chrome at zoom 100% the textfield would produce a scroll bar until I widened it.

Join by Perry 2013-05-12T19:18:00

Hearing the light musical notes as the scanline crossed the screen enchanted me. Where is the 6-stars button for audio? You composed audio on screen by where the blocks were. Genius! If you continue to develop this, the rules and interactions for solving the blocks started to feel arbitrary after a few levels.

Fantasy RPG #58 by Martze 2013-05-12T21:35:00

Encountering a skelly interested me. If you continue to develop this, during the fight I saw no other option than to press X to attack. Maybe later encounters get more interesting.

Swimming Fool by blackmagic 2013-05-12T21:15:00

Jumping between asteroids interested me. If you continue to develop this, it was hard for me to predict what the arc would be. I wasn't sure what the influence was from asteroids if any on the trajectory.

Mondritron: 2026 by Dotanukii 2013-05-01T04:49:00

Shooting the complementary colors interested me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered slowing down enemies in the beginning?

10 Second Language by Loren 2013-05-12T17:54:00

Watching the colored film overlay interested me. If you continue to develop this, I did not pick up on the mapping between the grammar and the graphics.

dotLife by ddionisio 2013-05-12T16:33:00

The curved flowers lured me and the music enchanted me. If you continue to develop this, I lost interest while navigating the moving parts of the maze. The avatar has a bit of impulse to it, so it may drift into a wall, and the walls seemed to be disarranged, so I was not clear what technique or skill I was training.

The Parasite by jahlgren 2013-05-12T20:23:00

Eating blocks interested me. If you continue to develop this, at various screens I was not sure how to eat my way to the exit or what the timing was to jump and eat or if I was running out the ability to eat.

Tundra King by deathray 2013-05-19T18:14:00

Talking charmed me. Listening to the cyclical music induced me to contemplate. If you continue to develop this: I didn't find a way to use the resources that I picked up from the rock, bush, and tree. I didn't feel challenged; it seemed I just won by talking to everyone, so I'm not sure how I would develop my skill.

Union by theplotlessplot 2013-05-12T20:44:00

Avoiding dense areas of red squares while looking out for a blue square that was in an otherwise empty lane interested me. If you continue to develop this, I noticed after a while that the squares spawn at random positions, so could avoid the clumps of red to collect all nine and finish quickly.

(Follow the) Line by Chman 2013-05-12T17:36:00

Timing the turns to trace the path interested me. If you continue to develop this, sometimes my timing was off and I was not sure if the frame rate was consistent. Have you considered music that is cued to the turns?

Monoboy by jhrrsn 2013-04-30T04:18:00

The drawings enchanted me and the music mesmerized me. Mixing colors interested me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered some puzzles where the order in which you mix colors is critical to solidifying platforms to the exit?

The Minimalism Quest by Pol 2013-05-12T18:17:00

The coherent and provocative message interested me while guessed the goal of each screen. I love WarioWare, so I was keen to act. It looks beautiful! As you wrote in the post-mortem, I wouldn't have understood the mutilation scene. As a follow up the scenes of exploding the car and burning the books, it seems to approach nihilism.

Potato Dungeon by _Rilem 2013-05-12T23:01:00

Lancing potatoes from horseback thrilled me. If you continue to develop this, sometimes the horse's sword would not seem to hit the pig, and clicking the horse and then pressing jump button to get on the horse confused me.

SDFJKL by Dining Philosopher 2013-05-12T20:30:00

Swinging from grappled ropes to avoid red blocks and seek the yellow square interested me. The music deepened the interest and feeling of being content. If you continue to develop this, sometimes I thought I was in the yellow box but nothing happened yet.

Composition Number 10 by TeamQuadratic 2013-05-03T05:14:00

Wonderful music composition. If you continue to develop this, have you considered clarifying or simplifying the meter mini-game?

Balls! by Codexus 2013-05-12T23:06:00

Watching the sky and particles fly entertained me. If you continue to develop this, when I pushed the ball I felt clumsy.

A thing about nothingness by Pierrec 2013-05-12T17:26:00

Trading a rock for an apple interested me. If you continue to develop this, when I would tap the right arrow key, the barrel did not roll far and I got confused.

My Mini Castle by TijmenTio 2013-05-08T04:22:00

Cute artillery game. Very well thought out. If you continue to develop this, the text centering distracted me a little, because the text was moving on the left and the right side as each new letter was appended. Have you considered left justification? As you can imagine, then there would only be motion where letters are being added.

Sunset Death by DrGeraud 2013-05-04T22:04:00

W0W! Beautiful graphics and sharp sounds enthralled me. If you continue to develop this, I was not clear on the controls and the delays between button presses and the animation. I had been expecting the animated actions to respond instantaneously.

Brutaliz'Art LD26 by lotusgame 2013-05-12T21:22:00

Smashing glass rectangles of a Ludum Dare 26 game to create pixels tickled me. If you continue to develop this, clicking the rectangles got a little repetitive.

Eternal Journey by GreenPixelDev 2013-05-04T23:00:00

Attacking monsters interested me. If you continue to develop this, I wanted to see more options earlier on than just Attack.

minobi by Pixelboy_85 2013-05-10T05:00:00

Hitting a red dot and seeing a connected gun go dark and not shoot interested me.

Flight Time by Lerc 2013-05-09T05:19:00

Plotting the trajectory fascinated me. If you continue to develop this, it took me several attempts to recognize that the disk represented the start point and the line represented the initial velocity; have you considered rendering the line of the initial velocity while the mouse button is down? Or some other method of hinting at what the input conventions are?

REVOLVENGARDE by Andrio 2013-05-12T16:26:00

Blocking the incoming blue square interested me and the music entertained me. If you continue to develop this for a newb like me, then I got frustrated at the level with red and blue, because I was not reacting fast enough or accurately enough.

M-G by dotteri_thecatwolf 2013-05-01T04:47:00

Moving by gravity that explodes when too near interested me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered showing a ring of the radius where the gravity has most of its pull?

Orbicular by metalcan 2013-05-12T16:04:00

Your interactive art impressed me! Observing the difference between the white squares and white circles interested me. The adaptive loops entranced me. At 66 when the squares started to slow down and clutter the screen, I felt concerned and alert. The color fades and audio transitions influenced my mood. If you continue to develop this, each time I died at 80 and then at 55, the number reset to 100. I felt indignant! My mistake of course, yet I had lost all my progress and would have to repeat the same parts that now would not be challenging to get back to 55 where I was feeling concerned and alert. Maybe have you considered some mechanism to save partial progress, like a checkpoint or when a square touches you, it only returns you to half way between your number and 100. For example, when I intersected a square at 55, I would now be at 73; (55+100+1)/2 = 73. When I intersected a square at 80, I would now be at 90 (80+100+1)/2 = 90.

Weapons of Minimal Destruction by bluescrn 2013-05-12T20:59:00

Shooting UFOs and dodging bullets engaged me! Looks and plays sharp. If you continue to develop this, the spawn formations began to feel repetitive.

Terminally ill by Sebastian 2013-05-12T18:41:00

Moving Mouse to Pong and clicking to jump in a platformer interested me. The dismal music and static noise shader deepened my interest. If you continue to develop this: Reading instructions to the second game while playing the first game annoyed me. Playing two games at once that seemed to have no relationship to each other also distracted me.

The story was humorous, yet really implausible. I could imagine a lonely computer AI that might die if I didn't play its game, I wouldn't think I might die if I didn't play Pong well.

Add Removal by StuStutheBloo 2013-05-12T18:27:00

Revealing numbers by removing colors interested me. If you continue to develop this: After a few, I got stuck on the puzzle to reveal exactly 4 numbers. I did not understand the color mixing.

The world is in your hand by jacklehamster 2013-05-04T22:18:00

In most games I do not feel sad or pity. Here the silhouettes and piano melody along with the story of a quadriplegic man touched me. If you continue to develop this, those tender feelings were conflicted by bouncing off the platforms and flying, which seemed to nullify the plight of the victim.

Erase by iterative deepening 2013-05-18T19:03:00

The special effects of zooming out to delete an obstacle impressed me!

Save the Potato, Save the world. by JohnnySix 2013-05-04T21:59:00

The animations, ambient flickering tiles fascinated me. Clever platform puzzle. If you continue to develop this, it was not clear to me that orange blocks with a "?" question mark on them would be destroyed when I stepped on them. I quickly realized this, yet I was at first expecting some power up, like in Super Mario Bros. Similarly I didn't understand the blocks with the "!" exclamation mark.

essentia by andrewkennedy 2013-05-12T19:01:00

The collocated instructions and introduction of colors interested me. If you continue to develop this, I couldn't figure out how to make the boat go. I clicked the ore and it rotated, but the boat did not move.

Root Route! by netpro2k 2013-05-08T05:20:00

Anticipating where the root would grow interested me. The coins gave me a hint and the water budding a flower felt cheerful! If you have time to continue to develop this, I imagine you have considered other representations of blocks and pickups other than the gray blocks and the gold coins.

Only One Shot by Xanjos 2013-05-12T23:37:00

Predicting where the red square would be when I shoot through a refracting gray square interested me.

Inertia by Cheezey 2013-05-03T05:26:00

Avoiding fire and shooting the red circles engaged me! If you continue to develop this, I did not know I was moving until there was something around me on screen. Have you considered landmarks? And when I saw shots from offscreen I felt it was a bit unfair. Have you considered scaling down to see further?

Avoid by jm77345 2013-05-03T05:28:00

Sorry, it says the zip file is invalid (didn't vote).

Arena by rogueNoodle 2013-05-03T05:08:00

The sharp graphics, animation, sounds and music impressed me! If you continue to develop this, I had trouble remembering which arrow key mapped to which diagonal direction.

Minimum Reason Game: Hail To The Potato King by nodoxi 2013-05-09T04:57:00

The facial expressions and dialogue tickled me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered an evolution of the instruction, input, and response?

QbQbQb by rezoner 2013-05-12T21:58:00

Rotating the planet to stack three of the same color engaged me. The ambient music and matching sound effects entranced me. If you continue to develop this, sometimes I wasn't sure if an orange falling block was the same as the first layer of an orange layer that was blended with the planet's grass.

I don't wanna be an @ by ashdnazg 2013-05-08T04:58:00

The walking ASCII character interested me. If you continue to develop this, I'd be curious what other tropes of text or command line you might include.

RYB - RedYellowBlue by xethm55 2013-05-01T04:40:00

Tracing borders of territory on Mondrian grids is an interesting notion. If you continue to develop this, have you considered speeding up the movement?

Mind the Gap by shiprib 2013-05-12T16:51:00

Routing to balance the number of peeps at each subway station interested me! The icons, rules, graphics and story elegantly presented the challenge to me. If you continue to develop this, I wasn't quite sure what the strategy was or if I was executing well until it was too late to reroute, and even then I'm not sure how to increase the maximum number of peeps delivered next time.

hru by gilmore606 2013-05-12T21:31:00

Aiming the spotlight and listening to the metallic bounce entranced me. The bounces forgave my inaccuracies and tend to go up. The subtle palette calmed me. If you continue to develop this, after reaching and falling from a high distance I was not motivated to repeat those platforms.

Minimalist RTS by aaron9000 2013-05-12T19:07:00

Clicking one of the four lanes to build a green tank to defend or overrun that lane interested me. I managed the incoming red tanks. If you continue to develop this, I'm not sure yet how to improve my technique.

end by Aevek 2013-05-12T19:41:00

The definitions on the walls lured me. The blocks that implemented those definitions made me feel alert and content. If you continue to develop this, I gave up hope when jumping from the last pillar in the first outside level.

Digital H by winesays 2013-05-12T20:09:00

Seeing the scattered shards around the hexagon interested me. If you continue to develop this: after that I was not sure how to proceed or what the user controls were.

Steve Can't Zen by DaanVanYperen 2013-05-12T21:48:00

Mashing a button to meditate interested me. If you continue to develop this, I was not sure how to leave the first screen.

The Painter's Cat by Arcana 2013-04-30T04:49:00

You made an interactive Mondrian painting in two days! Genius! If you continue to develop this, I'd be interested in the how the shapes or composition is reviewed. Did I make an interesting composition?

Time to Think by MrWhoof 2013-05-12T19:24:00

Walking around the room with furniture interested me. If you continue to develop this, the room with a platform and a pit was where I lost hope of progressing.

Perfect Crime by cmayhem 2013-05-09T05:23:00

Dragging the ragdoll thrilled me. If you continue to develop this, I kept tearing off the doll's arm and I don't see what I was doing wrong; it just happened each time.

Synesthesis by TheFuntastic 2013-05-12T22:17:00

Connecting black boxes and balls to hear notes lured me. If you continue to develop this, at a later level I was not sure how to do that.

SquareRoot by Masadow 2013-05-12T17:45:00

Inducing the rule of each color interested me. Each level gradually introduced new rules and increased the accuracy required. If you continue to develop this, I was less interested in timing of key presses and more interested in inducing rules. So the orange and black circles were exciting yet with my slower reflexes, I wanted to focus on anticipating the influence of color.

You Must Escape by GertJohnny 2013-05-07T05:19:00

Oh my! What a delightfully scary experience to walk, bounce rays of light and hope I remember where to go sneak past the ghastly sounding redness!

Enlightenment by xploitgames 2013-05-10T05:08:00

The premise of a monk throwing out furniture amused me. If you continue to develop this, I got frustrated when the piano didn't fit through the window.

Canon by sparkleswirl 2013-05-12T17:03:00

Dodging blocks and playing musical notes interested me. If you continue to develop this, I felt awkward using arrow keys to perform a semi-musical task, and was wishing the interface were teaching me the mapping to playing the piano.

BASHLAND - Breakout Mario Mashup by McFunkypants 2013-05-12T21:27:00

Bouncing off of broken blocks alerted me. If you continue to develop this, it was not clear to me what kind of metaphor expresses this mashup of mechanisms.

Lookin for Love <3 by Filth and Money 2013-04-30T03:33:00

The catchy loop entertained, and the light sound effects felt warm and cuddly. If you continue to develop this have you considered showing something that is dropping the potatoes and some pattern to their falling. I had trouble anticipating where they would come from. Whereas, the hearts I could just about follow, except when a potato was at the same place.

Minimalistic Life by wonderwhy-er 2013-05-10T04:53:00

The tutorial and goals of destroying some blocks interested and rewarded me. If you continue to develop this, sometimes when I was dragging a pixel it felt hard to see and place it.

The Game Without Controls by methamphetabear 2013-05-07T05:38:00

Really cute and enticing. Wish I could figure a quicker way to change my system's time.

Special client by ColdBrain 2013-04-30T04:24:00

The gimmick of a client asking for stars and kittens but not cats cracked me up! This looks sharp. If you continue to develop, have you considered clarifying which elements can be moved and what the client is requesting and responding to?

Four Scepters by Benjamin 2013-05-12T15:50:00

Innovative minimal party dungeon crawl! Choosing which monster to attack interested me, and the tropes of dungeon crawling games made feel content. If you continue to develop this, I was overwhelmed by options while seeking the second scepter. I didn't understand the strategy of which monster I should fight first.

Budget Squad by deepnight 2013-05-12T15:41:00

Beautiful demo! I even enjoyed the red hue when dying. If you continue to develop this, I felt like my interest and content was interrupted when switching between subs. The intro dialog tickled me. When I started, I was expecting the orange torpedo sub to have a limited supply of ammunition and resources. They actually seem to be very powerful subs. One is invulnerable and the other has a lot of torpedoes.

Simplicity by fishbrain 2013-05-08T05:02:00

The brief descriptions informed and interested me. If you continue to develop this, I'd be curious about how to explore the backstory that got the protagonist in the initial condition, and revealing traits of the personality and relationships of the protagonist.

Right Side of the Road by ethankennerly 2013-05-08T04:53:00

@YSelf Tool, Yeah some other players also found it too slow. You can press Shift+2 to double the speed (and keep pressing it). You can effectively consider Shift+2 and Shift+3 as shifting gears, to speed up or slow down as you like.

i need to lie down by JigxorAndy 2013-05-04T23:06:00

Engaging! The scribbling graphics and sound of panting from running away gripped me. If you continue to develop this, it was not clear to me at first who I was, or what my character wanted to do.

Lunar Rain by LeafThief 2013-05-08T04:45:00

Your graphics, audio, and text coalesced into a grand unified science fiction. If you continue to develop this, I was a bit lost and so a bit let down as to what had happened. For me, a few threads of the story seemed unexplained. Was this a simulation of a human that was speaking? Who was the father? Why is he significant? In this context, what is God?

LOOP by vandriver 2013-05-07T04:41:00

Clever story! The animations and graphics evoke the magical feeling and slowly reveal the sinister cycle of sorcery.

Dock Zone by Farfin 2013-05-12T23:17:00

Moving the plank to cross the gap interested me. The cute characters and environment charmed me.

crush. by oatsbarley 2013-05-12T23:24:00

The soft music and soft, shifting palette calmed and centered me. If you continue to develop this, I look forward to the second level.

hunter hungry by Jonathan Whiting 2013-05-12T17:20:00

Shooting rabbits that do not respawn and swinging from blocks interested me. The dark, primal mood crept up on me. If you continue to develop this, I wasn't sure what else would evolve after each day and I knew I would have to travel further to continue to find food that I hadn't killed on a previous day, so at that time, I lost interest.

ZIN by fierysquirrel 2013-05-18T18:02:00

Great introduction to a novel game! The instructions made me feel content. The falling blocks got me to start moving my mouse purposefully. I was engaged while dodging and eating, and noticing the impending accumulation of blocks at the bottom of the screen.

Drug Hunt by kill0u 2013-05-09T05:03:00

The line alignment and flower alignment and animations to press SPACE on time gripped my attention. The flashing perturbed me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered attending to the rhythm between trial transitions?

Battery by onzephyr 2013-05-12T19:10:00

Cool! The whirring sound and undulating boxes interested me. The explosion of the boxes surprised me.

Geometry Wars (Multiplayer RTS) by udo 2013-04-30T04:33:00

The sounds were adorable. I played one game by myself. Is there a way to play single player with a bot? I tried two web browsers and could see the game, but I could not start with the second player.

Brave New World: The Game by Nolan C 2013-05-01T04:31:00

Elegant graphics and audio reminded me of 1970s videogames. I laughed when the people exploded. Cute concept. If you continue to develop this, have you explored the rules that modulate each person's mood and exposing the internal state of each person's mood?

Nod by Rose 2013-05-12T17:57:00

Reading when is appropriate to nod interested me. If you continue to develop this, I was hoping to feel a little more active. It seemed the girl had already made up her mind and I was passively following along.

Art Critic by sanojian 2013-05-12T20:33:00

When the art critic says random sentences about a random composition of colored rectangles, I was tickled! If you continue to develop this, I started hoping that there would be some way of judging the composition beyond replicating the image in the top right of the screen. The controls felt haphazard and unrelated to the premise of creating art.

Line Game by elektron 2013-05-01T04:58:00

I was surprised to see how this began by moving off the screen to the right. Then it introduces tropes of various games of progression: mazes, keys, timed doors. Masterfully simple premise. If you continue to develop this, and I hope you do, have you considered having more vertical space in the first set of timed doors to forgive timing mistakes?

Aranami by Frozen Fractal 2013-05-10T05:04:00

Rotating the rake and watching the zen garden unfold between the rocks focused me.

Leaf Me Alone by Claw 2013-05-10T05:14:00

The light graphics and lilting ambient sounds and music enchanted me. If you continue to develop this, I felt some difficulty getting to the next platform from the first blowing flower.

ProductionVille by Blinked 2013-05-12T20:16:00

Considering what and where to build to produce wood interested me. If you continue to develop this, I was not sure how to place an apple farm and became annoyed at pressing key 2 for every square of road placed.

Min by foxor 2013-05-03T05:03:00

Color space matching interested me. If you continue to develop this, have you consider introducing an easier trial to introduce the task before the first FIND, SOLVE and MAN?

LD27 — 10 Seconds

Steven Seagal: Hard to SWAT by farmergnome 2013-09-15T04:50:00

10 Seconds: the Ungame by cafeine 2013-08-26T03:07:00

The wit amused me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered making other choices more obvious or spoofing the lack of choice in some videogame?

Emily Escape! by avaki 2013-08-26T03:12:00

The animations and audio gripped me! If you continue to develop this have you considered adding enemies that move in a pattern, like old school Legend of Zelda, and clarifying where the collision is for bullets and boxes?

The music and deafening explosion captivated me! If you continue to develop this, in the text, have you considered starting with obvious clues about which wire to cut first?

Dirty Rotten Seconds by siat 2013-09-15T04:36:00

Aiming and clicking faster than the opponent alerted me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered clarifying when I had shot a circle first?

exposure by zillix 2013-08-26T04:15:00

Walking into the expanding pixelated desert intrigued me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered what's coming in the next level?

Under Water by Orava 2013-08-26T04:56:00

Shaking the plants to extract air bubbles fascinated me! When the circle expanded, I felt the surprise of discovering the goal and the feedback. If you continue to develop this, have you considered hinting earlier at an additional task to do while also retaining air?

10 Second Planet Destroyer by Latency 2013-08-26T05:31:00

Watching the ships attack the planet interested me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered identifying the difficulty of each planet?

Dwarf Wars by Falcon 2013-08-26T04:36:00

Planning the moves of the dwarves interested me and the music and fantasy miniature graphics fascinated me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered starting with encountering an easy monster on the second turn?

Bit-ship Ld27 By lcass by lcass 2013-08-26T04:28:00

The menu of items to build, which reminded me of a level editor interested me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered showing the keyboard shortcuts on the menu and simplifying how to start, maybe with the first level already constructed?

Knight's Temper by madruse 2013-08-26T03:26:00

The bright models and dark lighting evoked a stained glass look and enchanted me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered showing how to restart quickly and help on what the actions are?

Defuse in 10 seconds by archaeometrician 2013-08-26T02:56:00

I was impressed that you got me to type quickly. The graphics are clear and set the scenario. If you continue to develop this, have you considered integrating the keys being pressed in a way that progresses the story?

Tracewire by Drachlen 2013-08-26T03:42:00

The snappy sounds and polished pixels gratified me and the arrow typing in ten seconds interested me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered hinting at the keys to press in the first trial?

10 Second Thinking by dmastergames 2013-08-26T04:39:00

The simple squares and puzzle interested me and the music uplifted me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered simplifying the first few puzzles and the help to start?

Defuse the Bomb in 10 Seconds! by ethankennerly 2013-08-28T13:58:00

@BMacIntosh, @kevinAlbs, @Infernal, @siat, You're absolutely right; you would expect the wires in the random levels to not backtrack upon themselves and to cross each other perpendicularly. Your insightful observation confirms I can improve that part of the program which I failed to solve during the weekend.

@pythong, That does feel out of order; you would expect to adjust the difficulty to introduce more complicated levels sooner.

@shohs, Good point! You would expect the level counter to go up by one, or at least to be able to guess why the level counter is changing.

10 Seconds Warning by pvwradtke 2013-08-26T04:23:00

When a missile accidentally hit an eyeball, I realized I could destroy the eyes! Brilliant! If you continue to develop this, have you considered (or is there already) a later enemy and bullet that behave a little different than the eyeball and the missile?

Defuse by KevinWorkman 2013-08-26T03:22:00

Tracing the wires in 10 seconds alerted me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered gradually introducing the tangles?

Space Rift by GFM 2013-08-26T04:49:00

Dodging bullets interested me and the graphics fascinated me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered having the aliens that descend and shoot turn toward the center after they shoot, so I can more easily shoot them without being in their bullet's trajectory?

Defused! by bugninja 2013-08-26T03:00:00

The clear feedback made me feel aware. If you continue to develop this, have you considered how to vary the mechanism of checking the state?

LD28 — You Only Get One

A Girl & Her Cat by little_polygon 2013-12-16T04:41:00

A Girl & Her Cat's color palette, hints, pixel animation, and audio are tight!

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Deep Blue Home by Jools64 2014-05-07T04:22:00

Dodging blocks and racing from green orbs pass red beam paths kept me alert. The pristine pixels and aural ambient music allured me. If you continue to develop this, when first seeing some of the background vines and blocks, interpreted they would block my movement.

Deep Diver by Valandre 2014-05-02T05:02:00

Collecting coins and retracting the breathing tube before a shark bit it kept my attention. If you continue to develop this, when I got all of the coins and saw no fish and the air supply ran out, I felt confused.

Hot Diggity by DragonXVI 2014-05-07T04:34:00

Skating down, drilling into blocks kept me alert. Seeing the consequences of how I could skate and drill after attaching components to weird places fascinated me. If you continue to develop this, I felt confused when distinguishing the magma blocks from the blocks that make the coin sound, and the blocks that unlocked an upgrade.

Dig Hard by petey123567 2014-05-02T04:27:00

Exciting weapons, monsters, and pressure to dig. Tight graphics, controls, and sounds! If you continue to develop this, I felt as if the difficulty was unfairly variable, and for my poor action skills, didn't dig far.

Ben Eath The Surf Ace by mess110 2014-05-02T04:48:00

The part about press Space, Enter, back to Space, backspace tickled me. If you continue to develop this, I was hoping to surf.

Watch Your Step by nka 2014-05-05T04:15:00

The spiders scared me. Managing to dig a coin while worrying about spiders kept me alert. If you continue to develop this, in the beginning, I didn't know I was supposed throw the coin into the wagon, so I felt confused.

What Lies Beneath by Ariake81 2014-05-02T04:55:00

Exploring the perilous cave and photographing luminous creatures to the haunting melody and mechanical pulses enchanted me. If you continue to develop this, I was surprised that the vessel was colliding and restarting, almost without warning.

Substratum by Ian MacLarty 2014-05-07T04:53:00

Figuring out that shooting a different colored block allowed me to pass into the block fascinated me. The desolate story, strange tile block logic, bleak sounds created a plausible mood of being in a space odyssey. If you continue to develop this, in the beginning of the green squares I got trapped and felt discouraged from figuring out the strange logic.

Beneath the City by deepnight 2014-05-07T04:06:00

The pristine pixel lights enchanted me! If you continue to develop this, when I got to the second level and was detected by guards twice at the same place and was not sure how to avoid this a third time around, I felt discouraged.

Pearl Dive by ethankennerly 2014-04-29T05:30:00

@White Rabbit Games, Thanks! You're right; that could be more clear that you cannot get every pearl. The idea was to choose which route gets the most pearls.

Pearl Dive by ethankennerly 2014-05-02T05:05:00

@rojo Dive for more pearls. Ben Ahroni got the highest score I've seen: 126 pearls!

Shanghai by Warboys 2014-05-05T03:46:00

The atmosphere and story entranced me. If you continue to develop this, when I saw the tubes connect and points go up, I still was not sure how the connections were a metaphor for spy management.

The Puddle by lonewookie 2014-05-02T04:40:00

I felt surprised to fall through a puddle and explore the underworld. If you continue to develop this, those bats flying left and right near the beginning felt so fast and dense that I lost motivation to get past them.

The Westport Independent by Double Zero One Zero 2014-05-05T04:00:00

All 5! Love the storytelling, atmosphere, Papers Please inspired dystopia. If you continue to develop this, I had to click or drag in a way that felt random to close a paper.

Gotcha by White Rabbit Games 2014-04-29T05:41:00

When I run away from the viruses, I feel concerned and alert! If you continue to develop this, when I play as the white blood cell, I feel confused what I'm supposed to eat.

Fishing On The Ice by DonovanWu 2014-05-07T04:57:00

When I dropped a line and caught a fish, I felt achievement. If you continue to develop this, when I saw the submarines, I felt confused.

Sub Terraria Zero by Photon 2014-05-07T04:41:00

When I was running through the dark areas exploring, I felt curious. If you continue to develop this, after the save crystal, going left and getting eaten by the green monster on the bottom a few times, I felt annoyed. I jumped on the platforms, but the bats took more hits than I could land before they knocked into the lower floor with the green monster.

Where Is My Bone? by Ellian 2014-05-07T04:28:00

When I dug up a ring, I felt interested. If you continue to develop this, I wasn't sure how to infer where some objects were buried and how they mapped to the smells.

Dig Master by cirolve 2014-05-02T04:35:00

Watching for the block to break had me switching targets. Clever puzzle! The moving floor kept me thinking quickly. I felt challenged. If you continue to develop this, my first play, I didn't see the target block. 117 points.

Arctic Antics by Miltage 2014-05-07T04:14:00

Skating in figures to avoid the orca kept me concerned and alert! The rules of the orca, which seemed to predict my next position interested me. Also how the ice that I can skate on is removed, which makes it more and more difficult challenged me. If you continue to develop this, I didn't get to a moment where I felt I had accomplished something besides the time. I also didn't have much skill at catching papers, so began to ignore them.

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Cable Guy by Endurion 2014-08-30T22:05:00

While piloting a ship between planets with a long cable and avoiding other colored cables while listening to a dramatic soundtrack, I felt attentive. If you continue to develop this, have you considered allowing mouse to target a direction to thrust toward?

Linked Colours by Florent 2014-08-26T04:50:00

Connecting the similar colors interested me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered dragging to link?

Heavenly Finger Squad by Alexandre Szybiak 2014-08-27T04:08:00

Excellent, 5-stars! Becoming competent with pressing the up and down arrow keys to raise the fingers and pull them away to break the ladder interested me.

With your elegant input and rules, I see a lot of potential here!

If you continue to develop this, have you considered regulating the distribution of bombs more? The number of bombs in the first 5 seconds seemed to vary a lot over 5 different plays. For example, instead of rolling a die with one side being a bomb, shuffle deck of cards with one card being a bomb. Then take out one of the non-bomb cards to increase difficulty. Just an example.

Also have you considered tuning up the responsiveness of the down arrow key? I pressed and the fingers backed away from the ladder, but they didn't go down that quickly.

Lotus by doos 2014-08-30T21:44:00

The intersecting rings mesmerized me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered a tutorial on the controls and an animation of the button state and colored shape motion?

Gatestone by Aevek 2014-08-27T04:34:00

Crafting a workbench to make a knife to gather fibers to make a bow to shoot a deer in the blocky world charmed me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered clarifying space in the inventory, such as showing a progress bar? I felt confused why I couldn't pick anything up until I figured inventory was full. Also have you considered turning down the rate of spawning deer in the beginning? It's neat to participate in the ecology yet the fearless deer swarmed me after a few minutes.

Connected Caves by Birke 2014-08-30T21:49:00

The beautifully lit stalagmites in the caves and the haunting ambient music enchanted me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered breadcrumbing to targets to shoot?

Isles in the Sky by Tanner 2014-08-27T03:58:00

Combining wood to make walls and then walls to make platforms occupied me and evoked other possible recipes. If you continue to develop this, have you considered making the first island to teleport have an immediately obviously different environment. At first I wasn't sure if I had teleported.

Kosmovalse by the 2014-08-27T04:18:00

Spinning, launching, and jumping between gravitational pentagons while shooting demon heads in the stark depths of space where star light is all black or white evoked my imagination! If you continue to develop this, have you considered a bit more inertia while not a pentagon?

** by ethankennerly 2014-08-27T15:33:00

@Endurion You're right: it feels empty without sound. The latest version (finegamedesign.com/dotdot) now has connect animation and musical notes that play when you connect.

Misplaced by akymos 2014-08-27T04:22:00

Running and jumping on a small planet felt joyful! If you continue to develop this, have you considered putting more pickups to guide the player through the second planet to avoid the lava and make the lava texture look more deadly?

Twin star by t4u 2014-08-26T05:02:00

Swinging both stars to dodge comets captivated me! If you continue to develop this, have you considered animating the comets as looking dangerous?

Salvation by 43iscoding 2014-08-30T21:32:00

5 starts! When the white noise crept upon each planet I felt engaged. At the last two levels, I felt a sense of sacrifice. If you continue to develop this, I'd be curious what other choices I could consider to quickly plan an escape. And have you considered clarifying the victory and defeat left and right arrow buttons? They confused me.

The Hunt by ASajbel 2014-08-25T05:16:00

When I searched for the gazelle in the open plains, I felt like I was relating to the cheetah condition. When I heard the gazelle dart away, I laughed! If you continue to develop this, have you considered illustrating how the vision of the gazelle expands or contracts?

Relative to Scale by Peach Pie Productions 2014-08-26T05:22:00

Dodging predators and chasing prey felt awesome! 5 stars! If you continue to develop this have you considered not needing to press Space to eat food as an amoeba; I didn't read those instructions and got confused. As a fish I didn't need to press Space to eat. Also the food are red so I wasn't sure if the food was food or if it was an amoeba.

Turbines of Truth by Duncan 2014-08-26T04:53:00

Watching the ball speed up through the arrow excited me. If you continue to develop this, have you considered simplifying the first level.

Columbus Close the Door of Your Seas by DSalles 2014-08-25T05:21:00

When I saw the embellished map of the world and the people interacting, I felt fascinated. If you continue to develop this, I'd be curious to see how you clarify the technology level of a nation.

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Anagram Attack by ethankennerly 2015-04-20T01:14:00

@fixedgerald You're right: the instructions were confusing. Now I hope they are clear.

The Guardian by Bastienre4 2015-04-21T03:43:00

When I heard the soft melody, saw the dark shades of a gray forest with eerie glowing eyes, and shot pixels of my body at the shadowy robots, I felt bittersweet. When destroyed the battery, and read the credits, I wanted to play more.

Myland by Kardamom 2015-04-21T03:59:00

When I plotted to influence just enough to maintain majority in a majority of countries, I felt clever! When I started and while the summit was approaching, I felt unclear about exactly what the victory condition was.

The Amazing Fart-Man by fixedgerald 2015-04-21T03:36:00

When I watched the ragdoll float through the air, I felt amazed. When I couldn't read the font, and farted on the guy's face, I felt confused.

LD33 — You are the Monster

Inside my soul by myachin 2015-09-07T03:03:00

When I selected positive sentences and continued to witness the orbits, I felt entranced. When I had four options and wasn't sure which was positive, I felt discouraged from repeating.

Escape From Twump Tower by 01010111 2015-09-07T02:49:00

When I read I was Twump, I smiled and became curious. When I tried to pick up a computer, a block, or a person, I felt confused.

A Crown of My Own by graebor 2015-09-07T03:27:00

When I listened to the ukulele and put cute items into the bottom rectangle and read the description, I felt fascinated. If you continue to develop this, at first when I picked up items I didn't find the inventory at the bottom of the screen.

To The Rescue by mockthebear 2015-09-07T03:41:00

When I saw the animated character I felt interested.

Spooky Cuties by OnlySlightly 2015-09-07T03:17:00

When I filled out a Monsterbook profile, I smiled. If you continue to develop this, when I continued to press random keys during chat, I felt like I had no choice. I didn't realize I could delete to get another option.

Trick Parade by SimonLarsen 2015-09-07T03:48:00

When I had to pick the scary mask before the candle burned down, I felt excited. On OS/X, when I picked the zombie head and an error appeared, I felt discouraged.

Cataphilla by Pomb 2015-09-06T22:35:00

When I intercepted a seed, I felt entranced. If you continue to develop this, when I wandered, clicked (?), around without seeing a beat pip, I felt confused about my goal. After getting a beat pip, I'm still unclear.

taikun by zillix 2015-09-07T02:56:00

When I burned down a tower, I smiled. If you continue to develop this, when I wanted to go lower and then forward, I had to plan a bit and felt less skillful.

Alien Plant II by internetpaulicy 2015-12-20T18:58:00

Turning the city into plants and evading the shooters is still fun.

Delicious Cortex by deepnight 2015-09-07T02:40:00

When I introduced myself as the evil lord returning to his property, I smiled and was subsequently enchanted by the consistent world you crafted. If you continue to develop this, when I died in the Family Cemetery, I didn't notice my life bar, and felt a little discouraged to reload and re-recruit each zombie.

Mobs, Inc. by Pietro Ferrantelli 2015-09-07T03:40:00

When I was promoted to an air striking skeletal wizard I was blown away! If you continue to develop this, I was playing on trackpad and at first felt confused how to attack, and when I moved my thumb to adjust the reticle rapidly, I felt awkward.

Monster Disco by Four Quarters 2015-09-06T22:28:00

When I ate people on the beat and saw my rhythm was Good, I felt AMAZED! When I didn't know which key to press or didn't know that every time I move it is marked Bad, I felt confused.

Bloup! by Noisette 2015-09-07T03:11:00

When I traced a path for a player and directed to a flag, I felt satisfied. If you continue to develop this, when I started, I wasn't sure what key to press to move and after a few repetitions of directing blue blocks to flags, I wasn't sure how to advance the difficulty.

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Initial Conditions by reheated 2015-12-20T17:03:00

When I clicked 3-size towns with an elegant interface, and considered many possible configurations, I felt contemplative. When I listened to the narrator interstitial, I felt a bit sad. You told a story well. If you continue to develop this, I would be curious to see more puzzles, and a bit of interweaving animation into how the logic puzzle plays out like Conway's Game of Life to make more or less history. Also, I would be curious to hear deeper analysis into the limiting factors of human civilization, for which the age of the universe is far beyond the expected survival of our species.

Hybris by Benjamin 2015-12-20T18:10:00

When I shot the nodes and dodged bullets, I felt excited. If you continue to develop this, I found the muscle level to be easiest since the node did not spawn another node, so I would have thought that one would be at the top-left, and on my Windows AlienWare M11x with Chrome, I had to hold down SHIFT and Z to shoot or select, regardless if I had CAPS off or on.

Full Metal Democracy by deepnight 2015-12-20T15:20:00

I look forward to playing. When I load from Windows 7 AlienWare M11x in Chrome, FireFox, or Internet Explorer, I see a black window and an error: "Error #2044: Unhandled ErrorEvent:. text=Error #3702: Context3D not available."

Dead Man's Volley by DragonXVI 2015-12-20T16:08:00

When I watched the shadow dancer and dodged red bullets I felt interested. If you continue to develop this, when I saw a green bullet and pressed a mouse key and got a -1, I felt confused. I didn't distinguish between the two green types for left or right mouse button.

tuinvrouw by TomBoogaart 2015-12-19T16:23:00

When I planted a seed, watered it, watched flowers blossom and an apple pop off, I felt pleased. If you continue to develop this, after I planted a half dozen, I wasn't sure what else to do.

Grow Your Love by DDRKirby(ISQ) 2015-12-20T15:46:00

Lovely! When I followed the dance moves I was impressed by the use of body language and music to indicate which direction to press, which felt much more relevant than usual rhythm repetition games. When I texted and knitted, I was really taken in by how well the buttons, animation and music told a story. I was touched! When we watched the stars at night and the musical melody matched each meteorite, I felt goose bumps. If you continue to develop this, and I sincerely hope you do, I wondered about playing some variant modes of a few games. Especially when texting. I noticed that the word I was supposed to select was already visible at the end of the line. In some advanced mode, would it be fun to not show that word and let the player assess which word would be grammatical? Anyway, this was a perfect game jam!

Grow Your Love by DDRKirby(ISQ) 2015-12-20T15:49:00

By the way, at the start menu screen, it took me several attempts and reading of instructions to select. Have you considered showing instruction on screen and showing what state the buttons are currently in?

Fun with magnets! by Ithildin 2015-12-26T04:47:00

When I attracted a ball while listening to the contemplative music, I felt mesmerized. If you continue to develop this, when I pressed the button to move the magnet and swiped to change polarity, and then the ball flew farther to the side than I expected, I felt awkward.

Roguebots by TijmenTio 2015-12-20T22:44:00

When I overtook a robot, I felt impressed. If you continue to develop this, when I got to the third level and took over a half dozen robots I wasn't sure what I could do next besides take over another robot and open a door.

FUN BUNNY SQUID MASTER by internetpaulicy 2015-12-20T19:04:00

When I picked up the turtles before the squid master who kept its eye on my got a minion on me, I felt quick. When I looked at the voxel graphics, I felt impressed! If you continue to develop this, when I overturned and tried to line up to the turtle, I felt awkward.

Auto Racer by ethankennerly 2015-12-25T21:55:00

Thanks for suggesting 9 post-compo improvements!

I made them in the post-compo version, linked above:

* Steer off-road, @TheMeorch restarts level.
* At highest speed, @Drtizzle changes lane twice as fast.
* @Blobo encounters 10% fewer cars that switch lanes.
* @Nosfer plays level 11 and 12 with 10% faster driving.
* @Muel sees cars signal lane change 4 more cars ahead.
* @TerraCottaFrog finishes race at level 2 to 5 about 20% sooner.
* If competitor is moving faster, @Blobo does not crash.
* @LittleThor hears lane change and pass. Pass rise in pitch with speed. http://sfbgames.com/chiptone
* @Muel hears soundtrack (autotracker_bu.py).

Reap by managore 2015-12-20T16:36:00

When I cut down trees and built a raft to sail around, I felt charmed. If you continue to develop this, when I was on the raft, I wasn't sure what to do next. What was my goal? I'm sure you wrote about it, but I was not remembering all that I read.

Garden Plant: Zombie Warfare by adamwoolridge 2015-12-20T16:29:00

When I shot flowers at the zombies that were approaching just in time, I felt excited. If you continue to develop this, when I selected one person to grow and another person to select a row, I felt inconvenient.

Deflext by Adam Gould 2015-12-20T17:53:00

In the tutorial, when I listened to the music and watched the wizard cast balls at me, I felt excited. When I missed about 20 in a row, I felt discouraged.

Captain Ninjabeard by GhostBomb 2015-12-20T18:00:00

When I right-clicked and sliced through the air several times in a pattern, I felt acrobatic. If you continue to develop this, when I started and got swallowed by a shark a few times in a row, I felt unaware that right-click did something. And I'd be curious to try katana patterns that are a little slower or combos.

Mt Etubo by thebrickanator 2015-12-20T15:27:00

When I deflected a villager from the volcano, I felt proud. If you continue to develop this, when villagers went into the lava after passing through me, I felt unaware of the technique that would deflect them.

Boom Boom Balloon! by DavidErosa 2015-12-20T17:44:00

When I pressed a key and released in the gray zone I felt rewarded. If you continue to develop this, for the first session, I thought I was supposed to fill up the meter altogether and pop the balloons, and felt disappointed when I scored 0. After I read the rules, sometimes the gray zone was narrow, which interested me, but I felt discouraged when the previous meters were much wider so I didn't feel I had been trained to try such a narrow band just yet.

FLOW by Romixal 2015-12-20T16:00:00

I played the web version. When I heard the music begin, I felt intrigued. If you continue to develop this, at the menu when I pressed X and the game exited I felt confused. After trial and error I pressed Enter to start. When I got to a branch and pressed left or right then Enter, and repeated this a couple dozen times without noticing anything different, I felt unaware of how to progress out of the repetitious branches.

Hosting Bowels - Diet of the Tentacle by 01101101 2015-12-20T23:12:00

When I shifted to tubes to eat pellets, because the pellets schedule was random and not uniformly distributing, in order to stay in the green zone in the center, I felt entertained. If you continue to develop this, in Stage III, IV, and second I, I didn't feel challenged to keep the meter in the green.

The Everything Building by Kepab 2016-01-09T21:48:00

You made many interesting travelers. When I matched brides or musicians, I felt clever. When I saw the ambulance stretcher I felt a rush. It was a bonus that I was able to play on my iPhone in Safari. If you continue to develop this, and I hope you do, on iPhone Safari, when I tap the elevator shaft above or below the elevator, sometimes the elevator went in a different direction. I didn't have a magnet-reversing passenger at the time.

Zunus by Jonathan Whiting 2015-12-19T16:05:00

Perfect! When I delivered calamari and red crab while dodging asteroids and an orange pursuer, I felt immersed in a consistent world. When an asteroid or I collided and we broke apart into our comprising line segments I felt admiration for the consistency. When I selected menu options using the left/right controls and filled up them as progress bars, I felt like the whole game snapped together. The names and shapes of the stations around my ship kept me from getting lost in deep space, after taking a minute to realize that was what they were. If you continue to develop this, I accidentally discovered I could travel faster from a station on the perimeter by immediately colliding, since that would spawn me back at Zunus which tended to be in the center for my cursory experience in playing this completely immersive and innovative delivery market between Asteroids.

Zunus by Jonathan Whiting 2015-12-19T16:11:00

BTW, if you continue to develop this gem, as _stice and 23 mentioned above, the game crashed on startup when I had my graphics card in low performance mode. When I turned on high performance mode, it worked fine. I am using AlienWare M11x with a graphics mode that can be toggled to high performance.

When I dodged the spikes by shifting orbits, picked up a blue square and saw my score increase, I felt excited! If you continue to develop this, for a while I sometimes reversed thinking of the Z key as Move Out and the X key as Move In. Have you considered how the spikes rotations could ramp difficulty over time to onboard a casual player like me?

Cockatiel Egg by FiSilva 2015-12-20T18:44:00

When I estimated the shortest route, and picked up each egg, I felt clever. If you continue to develop this, when I pressed Space to turn and overturned, I felt awkward. When I accidentally moved forward, I wished I knew how I could restart the level.

Growth Industries by quill18 2015-12-20T16:21:00

When I recognized the number on the right side represented increase in stock price, I felt focused on the simulation. If you continue to develop this, at first, I wasn't sure which cards I could select or not, and I couldn't read the text for "Chemical" type or other types.

Famous Bus Movie Game by BuffaloPhil 2015-12-26T05:05:00

When I dodged magenta and yellow 3D cars without shadows and listened to intense music, I felt riveted. When I sometimes collided with some cars much earlier or later, I felt the difficulty of the distribution of cars and people to avoid varied a lot, so that I wasn't being fairly tested each run.

Another Dragon by GeorgeBroussard 2015-12-20T19:22:00

When I saw the pixelated dragons, hero, and monsters with hexagonal pixel filter, I felt intrigued. If you continue to develop this, on the Chrome with an older Windows AlienWare M11x, when the frame rate was choppy and I couldn't jump the second maw on the ground in the second screen after a dozen attempts, I felt discouraged.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Creased by Cosine 2016-04-19T03:16:00

When I drew a crease and clicked a side to fold I felt like I was folding paper! If you continue to design this, when a target image went by quickly and I wasn't sure what to fold, I felt like I couldn't continue to the next shape.

Soko Match by francoisvn 2016-04-20T04:11:00

When I matched a dozen and realized that some tiles were blocked or would be shifted as a side-effect of my plan to line up three, I thought to myself: "I hate this game" and "I have to finish". I felt compelled! If you continue to design this gem, sometimes dice flipped over and I didn't see why in time. Did I match 3 of the same number? I was only looking for color. Sometimes a tile turned into a blocker. What causes that?

wolf and the moon by zillix 2016-04-23T20:20:00

When I transformed into the fox on the moon, I was amazed! If you continue to design this, when I was teasing the wolf to bite, I didn't feel like I had a plan or wits to ensure its tongue was out and be in position to throw the torch.

Sub Dragon by deepnight 2016-04-23T21:00:00

When I blocked bullets and planned a route through the stunning graphics and active music, I felt amazed! If you continue to design this, I died early and often. Sometimes I wanted to make a cocoon, and wanted to rotate relatively to my current facing, instead of pick an absolute direction by the arrow keys.

I played on Windows FireFox. On Chrome, the black window appeared but the rest of the game did not load.

Astro Zoids by pkenney 2016-04-19T03:48:00

When I dodged red shapes and swatted them with green balls, I felt alert! If you continue to design this, I felt inept at aiming the green balls.

Super Shape Drop by candlesan 2016-04-23T20:50:00

When I dragged a row and matched two different sets, I felt excited! If you continue to design this, at first I was unsure if I was shifting the row or column over, or if I was shifting some pieces over. Then I wasn't sure if it counted as further distance when I took the long way around instead of the short way around to wrap, which felt like no more skill involved to wrap the long way.

ShapaSort Recycling by Yrasin 2016-04-18T14:58:00

When I looked at the polished graphics and responses, I felt like I was playing a classic game. If you continue to design this, when a shape went into the box and I pressed a directional arrow, oftentimes I was disappointed at which direction the shape went. I didn't pick up at which moment the direction is selected.

Tangram Escape by jhell 2016-04-19T03:31:00

When I saw the shapes to make to select actions, I felt intrigued. If you continue to design this, when I made an arrow and walked down the stairs, I wondered why I could not just click on the arrow from the hint.

Basebird by dvdfu 2016-04-20T04:19:00

When I surfed a cloud and saw puffs of the cloud fly off my feathers, I felt entranced! When I realized I could hit a feather as a ball to speed up, I felt excited. If you continue to design this, for one feather, the bird overlapped the left edge for a frame but I didn't transform into a ball.

Revamp by tayl1r 2016-04-20T03:59:00

When I passed the first level I felt enthralled by the iconic graphics and color palette, puns, sharp sounds and tight controls and level design. If you continue to design this for an uncoordinated player like me, when I got to the second level and died several times on the first tier, I felt discouraged and saw no novel reward on the screen to pull me.

The Vaultshifter by ohmaigawd 2016-04-23T20:02:00

When I saw the iconic trees and transformed into one, I felt enchanted.

The Wewelsburg Experiment by BubsyPoochies 2016-04-23T20:36:00

When lightning struck and I transformed into a random farm animal or old man I chuckled! The transformation timing is brilliant. If you continue to design this, when I transformed I didn't pay attention to my form in relationship to the enemies. Although the zombie and mummy were slower and others had varying jump distances and walk speeds, I didn't seem to lose health or modify my tactics in relationship my current form or the form of the enemy. The platforms were well-placed. There was only one gap in a platform that was over a hole in the floor. I had a lot of difficulty jumping up onto the floor from the room below.

Quadrilateral Circle by FrozenCow 2016-04-20T04:28:00

When I rolled up a ramp to clear a gap and did it again with the momentum from the first, I felt excited! When I couldn't clear a second gap after a few retries I felt discouraged.

Shapegrammer by APantaloni 2016-04-19T03:37:00

When I pressed the shape of a tangram and the pieces flew into that figure as we wooshed through that shape in the wooden board, I felt amazed. If you continue to design this, I got stuck at the first board to rotate. I didn't notice the shape and the rotation in time.

Shape Runner by ohi12 2016-04-19T03:23:00

When I barely transformed into the rectangles to fit through the doorways for a few seconds in a row, I felt exhilarated! If you continue to design this, it seemed like sometimes I could be a rectangle facing a direction in a corridor not quite wide enough for it but I slid through.

LD36 — Ancient Technology

THE BOX by ReboundGames 2016-08-29T02:10:00

When I watched and hear the smooth animations of each piece and the word complete, I felt impressed! When I got to word #3 I felt stumped.

CIty of Sand by Uruca Games 2016-08-29T19:58:00

When I moved the blocks, saw the puff of sand, and heard the collision, while the silhouette of a camel walked by, I felt absorbed! When I visualized the solution and attempted to drag the blocks and they were tilting away at not quite the right angle, I felt a bit frustrated.

Xolotl by SetTheBet 2016-12-15T04:49:00

Nicely done! I look forward to playing your next jam!

City of Words by ethankennerly 2016-08-28T22:43:00

@iamevn Not being able to enter the longer word is unfair! You pinpointed my mistake. Fixed.

@ReboundGames My sloppy Unity default WebGL text was blurry! I snapped text and downloaded Immortal font.

City of Words by ethankennerly 2016-08-29T14:16:00

@Rico The Jammer I ran out of time, mostly from procrastinating a decision on which game Friday night. I'm glad to hear that you'd like me to illustrate those 6 plots and animate when all 9 plots are complete.

City of Words by ethankennerly 2016-08-30T02:24:00

@ReboundGames, @Move127, #Decentsauce, now I linked an Android version. It is the same as the WebGL version. I appreciate you encouraging me to illustrate and animate!

City of Words by ethankennerly 2016-09-05T22:23:00

Now I uploaded post-compo version. I illustrated the other 6 plots.

Cryptoglyphics by Bogden 2016-09-03T16:55:00

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed deducing the letters of the Chinese proverb! That is clever to make glyphs and puzzles.

cognizance by managore 2016-09-24T19:51:00

When I saw the cog climb walls, spin gears to elevate and pull pieces, I was amazed. When I explored the clever level I was engrossed and challenged. I got to a point where I wasn't sure how to proceed and finally came here to praise your well-made game.

The Human Drive For Innovation In The Realm Of Science by iamevn 2016-08-29T01:46:00

When I watched the rock roll down the hill, I cared how far the rock would go. I was immersed into the stone age world. When I read the 4 upgrades and pressed 1, 2, 3, and 4 keys on my keyboard and nothing happened, I felt confused.

LD37 — One room

Dark room by cushycode 2016-12-15T04:16:00

When I lit up the chairs in the room I was impressed by your models and lighting. When I caught the cat I was content.

1 biT Strike by SamuelSousa 2016-12-15T04:02:00

When I heard the beat and shot ships I felt absorbed! If you continue to develop this, I died so soon that I didn't know if there would a boss or an evolution of the level beyond the first asteroids and ships.

Techno Party Death Box by onyon 2016-12-15T04:40:00

When I saw the colorful walls and saw the monster, I felt excited. When I got hit by the white rectangles about five times quickly I wasn't confident I had mastered timing to survive longer than a few seconds.

Room 753 by local minimum 2016-12-17T04:05:00

When I opened up the rooms my girlfriend said "Agh! It's like a nightmare!" When I opened doors to track my progress and found the elevator I felt a moment of relief. When that ride ended at another hallway, my hope fell.

Doom Tomb of the True Room by Flatgub 2016-12-16T04:25:00

Atmospheric and complete game! I made a bloody mess of myself, over and over and over. After I got hit by the thing lurking on the ceiling above the key, I didn't know how I could get out of its way if I got to it again.

What's That Word? by ReactorScram 2016-12-11T22:20:00

When I clicked the green note and it shook, I felt gratified! At first I wasn't sure what the word in the green note represented.

Lost in pandation by deepnight 2016-12-15T04:08:00

When I saw the gorgeous and atmospheric snow, I was enchanted! When I climbed the bamboo pole and it wavered, I was impressed. When I got a couple of bamboo poles and froze to death I wasn't sure what I could have done next.

Cure4Life by Gipzo 2016-12-17T16:26:00

I was blown away by the mood crafted from the music, color palette, pace and density of the zombies! On my laptop's trackpad, I felt awkward moving the mouse and clicking while using keyboard arrow keys. I banged on my keyboard hoping that there would be a keyboard way to attack and aim, such as WASD and SPACE to aim and attack.

Walkie Talkie by managore 2016-12-14T15:33:00

When I saw the open brace shoot a dash at me, I was enchanted by your animated ASCII world. If you continue to develop this, and I hope you do, when I wasn't sure which level would be a step up in difficulty for my skill I felt less competent.

Home Decorator by Shivur 2016-12-17T16:33:00

When I compared attributes I felt interested in finding the optimum. When I placed objects, I didn't recognize their net effect, especially on ergonomics. So I wasn't sure how I would do better next time.

The One Room Dungeon by justinooncx 2016-12-15T03:51:00

When I fought a skeleton I was reminded of Might & Magic on the Tandy in 1988. When I died from poison, I guess I should have used magic instead of fighting.

Super Jump by Insality 2016-12-16T04:02:00

Great fun jumping, rotating, and landing so solidly. After missing the platform and scoring only 3, I wasn't sure what I could do to score 4, 5, or more, other than practice, practice, practice.

Fighting Spirits by Pyrofoux 2016-12-15T04:33:00

When I saw the tapestry and the moving objects, I felt curious about this world you made in one room. When I prayed, the text continued for eight sentences, I didn't figure out how to exit that mode.

Complete Amateurs Christmas Card Maker 2016 [OFFICIAL] by peterthehe 2016-12-15T03:58:00

The photo-montage of angels around the tree and the song was a personal touch.

Arm's Reach by adsilcott 2016-12-15T04:59:00

The intro animatic stunned me! The models, lighting, and animation in the maze felt fantastic. When I got a tentacle near a traveler, pressed space, but I didn't figure out how to grab the traveler.

Bouncing Balls with the Boing Boing Boys by Sean 2016-12-17T19:29:00

When I watched balls bounce up and down I was impressed at how bouncy the walls were. Everything looks and feels bouncy! The animation of the floor rebounds when walking also fascinated me. If you continue to develop this, I would play against a bot.

A bank is a dangerous place by JK5000 2016-12-17T20:25:00

When I realized "9-1" was not representing 9, not 1, and not 91, but was 8, I felt interested. I appreciated that once a box was opened that number wouldn't be used again, and that when I my arithmetic was off by just a bit I was already in the area where the answer was.

It's tense not knowing how many seconds are left; I appreciated that.

It looked and felt immersive. When I died with the bank door key in hand and not hearing and indication that the timer was almost out, I felt discouraged. Also one time I got a 0 being added, which seemed trivial.

Storage by Steven Miller 2016-12-17T16:17:00

You made an amazing Turing machine! On level 3, I recognized the a crane layer and a ground layer. I made a loop and recognized an analogy to a programmer's loop. I felt clever! Before that I confused how to place a tile, what the tile represented, how to remove a tile, and that the tutorial suggested placement of a tile was not the tile itself. For example, there is a yellow arrow for the crane and a gray arrow for the box. In levels 1 and 2 I didn't understand this. It's still indirect analogy to me that the dispenser is on the crane, which visually seems disconnected from the source of input.

Room Zero by g12345 2016-12-15T04:12:00

On the second level, when I realized I could get to the top row in two different ways: by jumping and reversing, or by jumping across a gap, I felt clever. When I intersected a monster, at first I wasn't sure if that was a bad thing, or if it was a conveyor. I didn't notice a visual effect during the overlap.

Was ist das für 1 Room? by blinry 2016-12-15T04:26:00

Masterful! When I arranged the small room, I felt clever! In room 5: Lookout, when I saw four couches and five bookshelves I felt I wasn't going to quickly find a place to fit them.

This Room Ain't Big Enough For The Two Of Us by KevKevOnFire 2016-12-16T04:11:00

Interesting rule to surround, which reminds me of my favorite game, the Chinese game of Go. I was impressed at the craftsmanship and completeness. Altogether looks and feels like a complete game. If you continue to develop this, I had difficulty learning the keys and then had difficulty forming rooms by throwing horizontal and vertical walls.

LD38 — A Small World

Globe Guzzler by Eli Delventhal 2017-04-24T19:44:11Z

When I leapt and smashed the planet's mantle, I felt excited. When I smashed the core and exploded the planet, I felt delighted. When I saw my health bar going down, I felt hungry to smash another planet's syrupy core.

LD39 — Running out of Power

VUEL by Jezzamon 2017-08-23T02:36:26Z

Well-deserved! When I dodged enemies and got power and listened to the charming music with the bouncy bots, I felt joyful.

Pipe Trek by quill18 2017-08-05T17:42:50Z

When I connected power to a couple of stations I felt excited! When I re-read the instructions and saw I could drag, I felt a bit of hope. If you continue to develop this, I would keep playing if I could complete the easy difficulty. I lost in under a minute.

My Kingdom for a Rabbit! by incobalt 2017-08-05T17:06:42Z

When I remembered the rabbits that had done well in the first round of tests and began to select the winners for the second round I felt interested! When I selected an heir with 10 weeks remaining and read that the kingdom prospered, I felt successful. If you continue to develop this, I'd be curious to read and see a qualification of the success and also of the efficiency of my selection method. It challenged me to design an efficient experiment. How efficient was I?

Tiny Warlock by bwalter 2017-08-05T17:56:21Z

When I clicked to launch sinusoidal fireballs and ran to pickup skulls I felt excited! If you continue to develop this, when I didn't see the edge of the map and walked off I felt uncertain.

Space Dog by Thygrrr 2017-08-12T16:03:14Z

5 stars! When I swapped batteries in the cryo-chamber, I felt heroic! When I bounced around the ship, I felt a bit giddy that the humans had left a dog in charge of their survival. The moment when I would continue to play is after the ship was destroyed, I wasn't sure how I could repair the sparkling reactor or activate shields in the helm.

Kit Rocket by Ethan Kennerly 2017-08-06T18:42:56Z

@incobalt @alwaysinbeta @thorneto: You're right gunpowder can sometimes propel the rocket farther than liquid oxygen. Now I divided the force of gunpowder in half. That way liquid oxygen propels the farthest and the time-in-air is not increased, which @will-walters noticed can be very long.

Defend Home: Mars by sgt3v 2017-08-05T17:49:28Z

When I shot ants approaching the green towers, I felt excited! If you continue to develop this, I wasn't clear how to get more ammo. And probably it is my trackpad, but sometimes my camera tilted down toward my feet. Since the enemies are all on the horizontal plane, is there a way I could rotate the camera with the keyboard, such as Q and E keys and fire such as with SPACE?

Spacy adventure by egordorichev 2017-08-05T17:24:51Z

5 stars! When I read that each bullet and movement costs power, I conserved shots and moves. If you continue to develop this, when the enemy bullets came so quickly, my reaction time was too slow to dodge.

Ministry of Synthesis by impbox 2017-08-05T18:42:49Z

5 stars! When I inverted a wave and combined it with another wave to open the gate I felt clever! If you continue to develop this, I would play more if I could figure out the fifth puzzle in about a minute.

Armless Kairo by thomas-olsson 2017-08-23T03:06:09Z

Your amazing atmosphere and tight timing reminded me of Prince of Persia! In 48 hours?!?

Mad Trax by boats 2017-08-12T15:36:16Z

5 stars! When I clicked a crate to add a car, I felt excited! The moment when I would continue to play is when I ran out of power, I wasn't sure what I could have done to conserve power. I saw the battery percent, which I interpreted as the amount of power the unit had. I increased this percent on the units but my overall battery points then dropped to zero.

Gradient Descent by Zelos 2017-08-12T15:56:15Z

When I intercepted light trails, I felt interested! The moment when I would continue to play is after collecting several light trails and seeing the progress bar at the bottom increase to three pips and reading 12/12 change to 10/10. I didn't figure out how I could change those pips or ratios. I wasn't entirely sure that intercepting light trails was a tactic for changing those metrics.

No Sorcerer's Sky by TheFlyingKeyboard 2017-08-09T02:14:41Z

When I bought a hangar I felt interested. If you continue to develop this, I would continue to play if I could figure out how to buy or produce equipment. My inventory showed 0 equipment.

Power or die by Aterlamia 2017-08-05T18:48:06Z

When I saw the map and building list, I felt interested. If you continue to develop this, I built a building that cost 200 twice and then didn't know what to do.

THIRST by Togis 2017-08-09T02:27:13Z

5-stars! When I placed tiles to explore, I felt interested in this cute world with adorable critters. If you continue to develop this, I would keep playing if I knew how to get myself out of a dead end draw of tiles in the first level.

MotherBoard by nikrt 2017-08-05T22:16:49Z

5 stars! When I threw Ctrl Alt and finally Del to blow up a big bot, I felt amazed! If you continue to develop this, when I moved on my trackpad I felt a little awkward. Since the motion is only on a horizontal plane, I could imagine feeling comfortable with keyboard input for all movement, shooting and throwing.

Lantern by Kaban 2017-08-09T02:05:29Z

When I pointed the flashlight at the wraiths, I felt eerie tension. If you continue to develop this, I would keep playing if I felt I could pace a strategy for recharging to survive longer. I appreciate the randomness of the wraith timing yet at times I didn't know how I could recharge in time. Could just be my lack of skill. My highest score was 34.

Delivery Drain by Thorneto 2017-08-05T18:56:14Z

Innovative jam! When I looked at the map and 20% low battery warning appeared I smiled! If you continue to develop this, I went to a building marked W on the map, picked up goods and then saw another place on the map. I wasn't clear if this was a drop-off destination. Before seeing that, I mistakenly thought the W was a drop-off point and I already had cargo.

HE BEAT HER. by Angela He 2017-08-13T01:16:04Z

6 stars for graphics! When I tried an inappropriate input and it was accepted I felt a bit giddy. I would continue to play this if I had a clue about how to uncover more facts about the case and which words mapped to which actions.

Scale of Life by ilya_kozlov 2017-08-09T01:56:58Z

5-stars! When I saw the outer circle about to touch the inner circle and pressed space to repel the outer circle, I felt focused. When my girlfriend and I heard the music, we felt relaxed. Wonderful look and feel. If you continue to develop this, for me first few attempts I pressed space and wasn't sure what happened. I didn't recognize the outer circle as a threat to the inner circle.

Powerless Miner by MajamiLTU 2017-08-05T18:04:19Z

5 stars! When I evaded the bat in the dark and got both of the gold, I felt clever! If you continue to develop this, at first I didn't recognize that I could destroy a gray rock without gold and wasn't clear what the different obstacle icons represented.

CowPow! by Quemagalletas 2017-08-19T04:26:39Z

When I picked up a cow and carried it a quarter of the way up the screen I felt hopeful! If you continue to develop this, I would continue to play if I saw a way to carry the cow farther up the screen. I tried slowing down my ascent yet the cow gravitated back to earth.

Torch Boy by FloBar 2017-08-05T18:30:59Z

When torchlight revealed the door with a keyhole, I felt impressed! If you continue to develop this, I would continue to play if I could survive getting to the first key.

Powerless: Trump Teaches Typing by RootPew 2017-08-05T17:15:50Z

5 stars! When I typed and kept with the stream for a few seconds I felt excited! If you continue to develop this, when I was overwhelmed after less than a minute I felt dejected. At first I wasn't noticing which word was selected to type.

Night Driver by nbitsstudio 2017-08-12T15:48:51Z

5 stars! When I drove through the lightning bolt and saw the explosion I felt excited! The moment when I would continue to play is I wasn't sure what I could do to pass more than the slowest car. The cars got ahead of me and I wasn't feeling feedback on if I was driving faster or slower, since I was dead last most of the time and didn't see cars to indicate my relative pace.

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

ALL Your Cats by pcmaster 2017-12-18T01:13:04Z

When I cleaned up poop and flung two fighting cats apart I felt capable. If you continue to develop this game, at first I was confused what to do and what the goal was. I tried to fling a cat over the fence, but the cat didn't fly.

Save the Hats by Gruhh 2017-12-10T16:45:42Z

When I looked at the desert color palette and saw the hats balancing on the head, I felt charmed. I use a trackpad instead of mouse, so when I had to switch between keys and trackpad, I felt incompetent.

Jazzy Beats by Moski 2017-12-10T17:00:05Z

When I listened to the skillful beats and watched the cute characters fight, I felt charmed. If you continue to develop this game, when I pressed the QWER keys and watched some characters change colors, I felt confused which actions I did had which effects on converting the blue fans to yellow fans.

A Hero's Burden by muffty 2017-12-18T01:09:30Z

Well done! When I saw the green ghost attack from the priest's past, I felt spooked. When I had to choose between defending the children and my teammates I felt tense. If you continue to develop this game, when I read the interstitials at the camp, I wanted to get to the moral of the story quickly. I pressed Space and Enter keys but didn't skip any text.

Cute invaders by sgadrat 2017-12-10T19:42:49Z

When I saw the chickens wander the yard, I felt charmed! If you continue to develop this, as I got and lost chickens, I didn't know what to do with them to succeed.

Horny Bunny by Thomas FUentes 2017-12-10T21:19:30Z

When I saw the cute pastel bunnies and landscape, I felt charmed! When I hid behind a bush and let a rabbit hop by, I felt clever. If you continue to develop this game, when I read "Defeat!" and saw bunnies bursting, I didn't know what had triggered this state, or how I could avoid this state, other than dodging rabbits.

Lamattractive by Pandanym 2017-12-18T00:26:08Z

Perfect, 5-stars! When I dodged kids and occasionally head-butted a grabby kid, I felt excited. The music and cute graphics and fluid llama neck and kid swinging animation charmed me. If you continue to develop this game, when I saw a splash and read "Try again?" I didn't know what had killed me. On Easy mode, after only surviving about 15 seconds each, I felt a bit discouraged.

Kittie Reaper: A Depressed Cat Tale by jfraser314 2017-12-10T21:13:44Z

When I used the arrow keys to avoid cute critters and reap the cripple, I felt successful. If you continue to develop this game, when I reaped and didn't see a reaping animation, I wasn't sure what was happening.

Virus Detected by NotSpaghettiGames 2017-12-18T00:19:25Z

Well done! When I resurrected bits to become viruses I felt powerful. When I looked at the images of the cells, I felt like I was inside a bloodstream. If you continue to develop this game, when I used WASD and arrow keys I didn't feel proficient at coordinating my shooting and moving. When I died, I didn't see anything hit me so I wasn't sure why I died.

10 inches or less by Almost Panda Studio 2017-12-10T17:17:24Z

Perfect! 5 stars!

When I watched the bubble pickup water and drop water, and planned how to redistribute the water and exit, I felt clever! When I listened to the cute sounds, music, and saw the cute bubbles, I felt charmed. If you continue to develop this game, and I hope you do, in the first level I, when I saw the water droplets and a lot of text, I felt overwhelmed. I didn't read the text and just guessed that I should pickup all the water droplets. I didn't learn the exact correlation between size and inches, so I wasn't really sure how small I needed to be to get out each exit.

My Greedy Dog Steve by Honest Dan 2017-12-10T17:09:29Z

When I attacked a purple sphere and it attacked me back, I felt excited. If you continue to develop this game, after I fed the dog once, I didn't notice Steve grow, and wasn't sure what new features I had unlocked.

Evil Money by interpol 2017-12-10T21:31:50Z

When I saw the vision sector of the guard partially occluded by the walls, I was impressed and immersed in my stealthy role as a thief! If you continue to develop this game, when I walked through a guard's vision sector, and I didn't hear or see a dramatic change, for a moment, I wasn't as immersed.

Space War Never Ends by X Budsterized X 2017-12-18T00:58:47Z

When my valkyrie swung a sword to deflect bullets and watched them bounce off the edge of the screen, I felt focused! If you continue to develop this game, after deflecting bullets, I didn't pick up a tactic for how I might time the deflections to consistently shoot the ships.

Theme - The Game by Cubeeo 2017-12-10T17:04:15Z

When I read the warning screen, I felt tickled. When I saw the lavalamp and text and clicked on things on screen and nothing happened, I felt either disappointed or clueless.

Greedy Merchants by jlreymendez 2017-12-18T00:36:15Z

Well done! When I caught up to the winner and sank their ship I felt clever! The graphics, music, and sound effects enhanced the festive pirate mood. If you continue to develop this game, it wasn't obvious to me how many coins I lost when I was sunk. When I lost twice, I wasn't confident what strategy I would take to win the next time. Occasionally other ships overlapped my ship almost completely which momentarily distracted me.

Stealy by Grentacular 2017-12-10T19:38:28Z

Perfect! 5 stars!

When I estimated the density of the knapsack while the timer filled up, I felt excited! If you continue to develop this, during my first two burglaries, I didn't notice the weight scale meter and didn't completely notice to the volume meter. I liked that the weight slowed me down, but I was surprised when this happened. The burglar animation doesn't look like it is struggling and doesn't look like his knapsack is filling.

Tiny Empires by Jack Maxwell 2017-12-18T00:42:53Z

When I saw the resources and buildings I recognized systems of Catan. I was curious about the bank, which I hadn't seen in Catan. On the next turn, when I didn't notice new resources, I felt uncertain what a good strategy would be.

DRAGLUTTONY by Reality Blind 2017-12-10T21:26:59Z

When I saw the cute wizards and dragons, and heard the light beat and owl hoots, I felt amazed and enchanted! If you continue to develop this, when there wasn't a bot to play against, I didn't take the opportunity to seek out a second player. Playing by myself, I didn't succeed in getting a piece of meat to the opposing dragon.

Molly's Space Nursery by Beebo Studios 2017-12-18T00:52:28Z

When I steered the robot around the room to the alien kids and listened to the music, I felt charmed. If you continue to develop this game, after day 3, when I had attended to the kids quickly, I wasn't sure what my strategy would be to improve other than to keep attending to kids.

LD42 — Running out of space

Get Comfortable by mcccclean 2018-08-20T02:00:35Z

5-stars! When I pressed an arrow key to move and heard a funny sound, I felt amused! If you continue to develop this, I wasn't sure what was making the comfort score go up other than not colliding with a limb. I saw some messages that I guess were combos, yet I didn't comprehend a principle to apply.

TrackBlasters by paulloz 2018-08-24T01:22:07Z

Perfect 5 stars! When I placed bombs at my own pace and decided between slow planning and fast driving, while listening to the pumping music, I felt entranced. If you continue to develop this, during the first race I didn't understand what action I was taking that caused a bomb to be placed. I thought I was pressing the space bar to place a bomb. By the third race I inferred that my progress around the track was placing a bomb. I admire this self-balancing schedule, but I didn't notice feedforward or feedback to show me that progress around the track was the cause of each bomb.

.S by torcado 2018-08-24T01:45:08Z

When I jumped on the trail I made to overcome an obstacle, I felt clever! If you continue to develop this, the first level where I needed to do this, I felt frustrated, because I kept failing at the first obstacle in the level.

Bath Time by DDRKirbyISQ 2018-08-18T02:25:53Z

Cute! When I tapped the cats in the tub and the made notes on the beat, I felt impressed! If you continue to develop this, it wasn't obvious to me at first how long I needed to swirl the cats.

Disk Driver by Ethan Kennerly 2018-08-18T02:53:52Z

@ShockWire You're right! An input move at least a couple blocks, which limits fine-tuned control. And the hallway requires no input for about 3 minutes.

Disk Driver by Ethan Kennerly 2018-08-18T17:43:41Z

To improve the problems @shockwire mentioned, now in the post-jam version, I edited the level to have blocks on most areas in the first loop. I also let inputs steer less than one column's width.

Disk Driver by Ethan Kennerly 2018-08-18T18:58:51Z

@n00b If you were playing the WebGL build, in the post-jam version, you can clear cache to play again with smoother frame rate. I removed a frame rate option isn't compatible with WebGL and simplified the shader on the blocks. On my computer the frame rate seemed smoother.

Bomb Factory by Lucas Ferrantelli 2018-08-18T02:31:17Z

When I accidentally placed a bomb where a box was going to fall, I realized that's a pretty good idea, and felt clever! If you continue to develop this, with using left and right inputs with unpredictable drop locations in a small number columns, I died quickly and didn't recognize what technique I should practice.

Blossom by deepnight 2018-08-18T02:19:27Z

When I watched the branch grow, I was enchanted. If you continue to develop this, when the red cloud covered the branches, I felt confused.

TINY TOWNS by BearishMushroom 2018-08-20T02:14:42Z

5-stars! When I built and saw a criterion toggle, I felt clear and clever! If you continue to develop this, when I swapped an arrangement to make a house happy, I didn't see the range of the park happiness.

EVOLUTION by Noa Calice 2018-08-18T20:24:24Z

5-stars excellence. When I placed a fishing boat and watched a person walk around I felt enchanted! If you continue to develop this, when I didn't see person that spawned pick up a resource or interact with other things, I felt unclear what the consequences of the people and vehicles were.

Rainforest by SimoGecko 2018-08-20T01:52:26Z

5-stars! When I picked up boxes and dropped them off I felt challenged! If you continue to develop this, when I started I moved near boxes on conveyor belts and nothing happened. After exploring my keyboard, I picked up boxes and then brought them to shelves, and nothing happened. After exploring shelves I recalled something about the box size mapping to the shelf number.

Loot Keeper by outstar 2018-08-20T02:34:33Z

When I rotated hats and boots to fit a sword and waistcoat, I felt clever! If you continue to develop this, when I clicked an item and then tried to drag it with my mouse, I felt confused.

Proto Dash by huminaboz 2018-08-18T20:13:08Z

When I released and dashed and destroyed a robot shooting at me, I felt awesome! All around excellent. The first level prepared me for what to do. If you continue to develop this, in the first level I didn't understand the difference between the red box and gray box. I also didn't understand which way would be the best way to go.

Dear Leader's Diet Plan by Historymaker118 2018-08-18T21:08:48Z

When I repeated smashed Kim in a narrow corridor to purge blue dots, I felt efficient. If you continue to develop this, for a while, I didn't recognize when Kim was thin enough to exit. I also wasn't sure if the forks were something I should be dodging.

Crystalmancer by Crowno 2018-08-18T21:14:34Z

When I flung darts at the bats with the energetic music, I felt quick. If you continue to develop this, after I died I wished I could see the control list again.

Bag Man by GeorgeBroussard 2018-08-15T01:42:01Z

When I saw the cute character and animals animating I felt charmed. If you continue to develop this, when I ran into similar looking rooms, I turned around and felt discouraged. Although you wrote down how it works, I started playing without reading.

Overflow by antoined73 2018-08-20T02:24:02Z

5-stars! When I sped across the water and spun 180 degrees to return to the raft, I felt skillful! If you continue to develop this, at first I thought my boat could hold two passengers.

Pre Alpha Build by PlusMinus 2018-08-18T02:46:57Z

When I placed a blast cannon and it began shooting the creeps, I learned what I could build to kill creeps. If you continue to develop this, when I clicked on solar plant and some other buildings, I wasn't clear what they did.

Go Home JIM!!! by finalspace 2018-08-24T02:14:13Z

Is there a place where I can play the jam version? Without playing that I can't fairly rate the jam.

Here's my comments on the post-jam version. When I found the cat and dragged the cat away, I felt I was managing. If you continue to develop this, when I didn't know which character was me, didn't know which keys to press to move, and didn't see which character was my target, I felt lost. After I dragged the cat, when the cat got pulled away, I didn't see how to improve my performance, I felt discouraged.

Falling Ecosystem by sprvrn 2018-08-24T01:36:39Z

When I sacrificed space to build trees, mountains and houses, I felt interested. If you continue to develop this, when I built every kind of structure except the face at the far right, I felt unclear what I needed to build that one.

Will Survive by foxserranu 2018-08-18T21:24:53Z

When I chopped down a couple of trees at the edge of the light, I felt tense and clever! If you continue to develop this, when I started chopping, I wasn't sure if I should tap repeatedly or hold down the Space bar. Also when there was a tree near the fire, I wasn't sure which action would occur if I pressed Space. I wanted to chop but I fed the fire instead.

A Way Out by sdrrv 2018-08-18T21:00:49Z

When I shot and the wall moved back, I felt relieved. If you continue to develop this, when I shot a red ball my bullet bounced off it with no effect apparent to me, I felt unclear.

Space Invasion by Nam Nguyen 2018-08-20T02:06:53Z

5-stars! When I listened to the beat and jumped and avoided the spikes to get to the dazzling star I felt amazed! If you continue to develop this, at first I didn't recognize a spike among decorative foliage.

Crumble by anstabo 2018-08-18T02:42:55Z

When I almost jumped to the next pier, I felt excited! If you continue to develop this, when I tried rolling and jumping and didn't reach the next pier, I felt unclear how to jump farther.

Stuck! by chkkll 2018-08-18T02:37:32Z

When I saw the lighting on the cylindrical travelers, I felt impressed! If you continue to develop this, when I shoved my way to the row above or below and no one filled in the space I was in, I felt a bit frustrated. I wasn't seeing how to progress.

Tetrish by Damien Murtagh 2018-08-15T01:31:51Z

When I pushes some blocks into place and watched them disappear and cause a chain reaction, I felt rewarded! If you continue to develop this, when I saw several "S" shaped blocks, I didn't find a way to clear a row. Then I felt discouraged.

LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Revolver Curse by SkullPixel 2018-12-24T22:05:45Z

When I shot and and picked up a shell, I felt clever! If you continue to develop this, when I looked at a sideways passage on the left or right edge of the screen, I sometimes misinterpreted it as a dead end.

FTD : Fixin' to Die by nuclearfriend 2018-12-24T20:58:00Z

Perfect 5-stars! When I considered the risk and reward of operating vs sacrificing a patient based on their recovery outlook and the queue of incoming patients I felt excited and engaged! Gory gameplay, pixel art, sound effects and music. I usually prefer non-violent games and non-explicit graphics, yet the gameplay and everything was so sharp I played a number of levels.

Cappies vs Commies by Ethan Kennerly 2018-12-03T02:19:05Z

@adam-trzeszczak You're right. Now you can end the game. Scoring isn't smart to recognize dead pieces, yet you can capture them and then end the game and see the score.

JLIM by egordorichev 2018-12-24T22:00:57Z

When I timed my jumps to pass the spikes, I felt skillful. If you continue to develop this, when I saw the bats, I was unclear what to do. I didn't notice an interaction with the bats, so I ignored the bats.

Jesus Take the Wheel by PeachTreeOath 2018-12-24T21:28:37Z

When I saw the classic Jesus artwork and wide wobbly arms, I felt immersed! If you continue to develop this, when I held a car and pressed the arrow keys to move, and then everyone died, I wasn't sure if that was from veering off road, or something else, and not exactly sure what my goal was.

Please Player by Noa Calice 2018-12-24T21:44:54Z

When I saw the characters appear and blood splatter, I felt impressed by the artistry! If you continue to develop this for someone like me, I tend not to go for bloody games. And after clicking the button, I didn't understand how to play more skillfully. Maybe the Safari browser was not displaying all the feedback.

STAR JUNK by christina-antoinette-neofotistou 2018-12-25T05:55:36Z

Perfect! 5-stars. When I shot the cute pixel art trash and aliens and listened to the upbeat music, I felt like a joyful space junker. If you continue to develop this, at first I wasn't clear when I could shoot and that I needed to pickup dead fish to shoot them, and that trash was not a pickup.

Humanity Hero by Guilb 2018-12-25T05:31:47Z

When I read dossiers and balanced attributes and professions, I felt interested. If you continue to develop this, I mistook the "Required Professions" section to mean the "Starting Professions." My fault for not reading and recalling these were "Required Professions." I was trying to pick doctors and builders, because I misinterpreted that I already had 5 scientists.

The Mist by tpamir 2018-12-25T05:16:10Z

When I contemplated the low resolution choices, I felt intrigued and reminded of the 1980s EA game called StarFlight. Even though I didn't survive long, you crafted philosophical choices! If you continue to develop this, after I survived 4 days I wasn't sure how I died. I guess I ran out of food, since that meter was low, though I didn't recognize which person would get more food, and didn't understand what the -5 Nay option meant.

Consilium - A history of life and choices by Gaming Night 2018-12-24T21:19:59Z

When I held down the mouse and observed rainfall evolve into a forest, an encampment, and then a windmill, I felt meditative. If you continue to develop this, when tiles devolved and I rotated my attention between tiles, I didn't discover a way to sustain five or more tiles and continuing to increase the score. Then I felt discouraged.

Dark Villagers by AwiX 2018-12-24T21:23:58Z

When I saw the cute pixel art in the tiny macabre village and heard the haunting melody, I felt spooked! If you continue to develop this, when I read the instructions, and then started, I forgot most of the instructions and didn't recognize which upgrade or unit was the one I needed to activated to survive the wave.

God's Thirst by Vlad Ilisan 2018-12-25T05:35:36Z

When I saw the instruction to press E to grab the offering, and the red veil crossing the screen, I felt the intensity. If you continue to develop this, in the second fight it wasn't clear to me when I was being attacked or what the hit area was.

Be The Bridge by Codesity 2018-12-25T05:40:45Z

When I released and positioned a triangle to cross a gap, I felt clever! If you continue to develop this, when I touched a vertical wall and the level reset, I felt unclear if I had fallen into the gap or if the wall was deadly.

Alain's Sacrifice by Daniel_Abeleira 2018-12-24T21:33:12Z

When I jumped over the attacker and landed between fires, I felt skillful. If you continue to develop this, when I continued to be pursued by the attackers, and kept landing on fires and restarting, I felt discouraged. Maybe I missed an action other than left, right, and jump.

Tezcacoatl's Dance Dance Paradise by numeralien 2018-12-25T05:20:55Z

Perfect! 5-stars. When the volcano erupted and the screen shook I realized I failed to appease the volcano. If you continue to develop this, I didn't notice feedback when I was on the beat of how that increasing progress toward volcano appeasement. I didn't notice a meter or animation indicating the volcano's appeasement.

Expendibots by pandan 2018-12-24T21:40:56Z

When I guided the bots over the narrow bridge with pendulum's swinging, I felt focused! If you continue to develop this, when I went into a rotating hexagonal tube, I didn't see that some sections were missing until my last two bots were already passing by the missing section and falling into the next section. I felt unaware how to anticipate the section was missing from the rotating tube.

Reactor Overdrive by JUSTCAMH 2018-12-25T05:47:32Z

King's Last Stand by Pukami 2018-12-24T21:50:52Z

For example, the bird pushed all the passengers into ...

LD44 — Your life is currency

Idle Idol by Daniel Moreno 2019-05-12T00:58:27Z

When I listened to the soft music and placed the perfect pixel art, I felt enchanted. If you continue to develop this, when I had to lose 10 cultists to gain 1 cultist several times in a row I felt discouraged.

Seaway by Constantin 2019-05-12T01:23:50Z

When I listened to the atmospheric music and cruised the bright islands, I felt like a daring explorer! If you continue to develop this, I didn't understand the gameplay of the crystals, and on my laptop without a mouse, I didn't know how to change weapons. Still, I enjoyed sailing. The way the boat turns felt usable yet interesting. Shooting with the right button on a trackpad was a bit awkward.

Robo Portrait by finalspace 2019-05-12T00:48:05Z

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Dark Soil by Pietro Ferrantelli 2018-05-13T17:17:09Z

5 stars! When I watered a plant and it grew and then spawned minions I felt engaged. If you continue to develop this, when the minions attacked, and I was trying to plant and water by switching inventory items with the number keys on the keyboard, and then switch the clicking on the trackpad to swing a sword and missed several times, I felt clumsy.

Crazy Cube by YANIV 2018-05-13T17:11:37Z

5-stars! When I dodged bullets and aligned my die face to the target number I felt clever! If you continue to develop this, when the blocks approached with numerals on them, and I shot at them and some of them were destroyed and others were not destroyed, I felt confused. Bomb In Rhythm by finalspace 2018-04-30T15:58:04Z

When I caught notes and heard them reverberate over cannon blasts, I felt chills! If you continue to develop this game, when the bombs disappeared near the avatar, I wasn't aware if they were hitting the avatar or hitting the ground. I also wasn't aware what the consequence was of notes or bombs hitting the avatar or hitting the ground. Compared to many bullet hell games, there was so little space between the bombs that I didn't see where I could dodge them. At those moments I felt hopeless.
